Happenings at Everfree: A Bumpy Ride

Bump

Sunset jolted as the bus hit yet another pothole in the dirt road, debris ricocheting along the bottom of the vehicle as it snaked its way along the ever winding pass. Every once in awhile one of the trees would reach out to caress the maroon paint with its bonelike branches.

“How much longer?” Sonata complained, reaching over the top of Sunset’s seat and resting her aqua arms along the amber teen’s torso.

“I still can’t believe that we were the only ones who wanted to go.” Twilight said, looking around at the small mixture of students that relaxed in the bus.

“You didn’t hear this from me, but,” Cadence started up, looking back at the group of girls that lounged across the seats of the large bus. She had given the senior year plenty of time to get their required paperwork in, but it seemed they would rather stay home. So as a result the bus that was meant to transport close to thirty students with camping gear now carried only ten young women, Dean Cadence, and Shining Armour as the driver. “I am glad that it is just going to be the twelve of us going.”

“Tell me about it.” Aria responded, the pigtail wearing Siren laying back against the window while kicking her feet up onto the seat. “Don’t have to worry about any pussies ruining this trip.”

“Aria, dear.” Adagio said as she stood up behind Aria, looking down at the crass Equestrian. “What did I tell you about running your mouth?” The look on her face was one of contempt.

“Whatever, mom.” Aria snarked as she crossed her arms and stuck her tongue out at the lead of the trio, only to have Adagio strike out like the serpent she somewhat was.

“Does anyone have some soap?” Adagio asked as she grasped the other Sirens slippery tongue between her firm forefinger and thumb. The bus erupted in cheers and laughter, doubling in intensity when Sonata procured a bar of soap from her backpack and deposited it into Adagio’s waiting hand. The Siren gave a devious grin as she looked down at Aria, tears starting to well in the girl’s eyes as she struggled to free herself.

“Come now, Aria, you know you wrought this upon yourself.” She said as she started to scrub the girl’s mouth with the soap, Aria gagging before tearing her head free, fingernails running against her poor soapy tongue in an effort to clean the taste.

“Bleeeeh! You cu-” Aria started, only to freeze in terror when she saw Adagio. “F-fine, I deserved it.” She said meekly as she sat back down properly, digging around in her backpack for her water bottle.

“Guess we know who wears the pants, huh?” Indigo said between laughs, slapping her legs as her frame vibrated with mirth.

“I’m glad to be the one not on the receiving end of that for once.” Sunny said as she watched with a small smile.

“Hey, Shimmer!” Aria called out, back to her normal crass nature. “Think you could magic away these suds for me?”

Sunset shook her head. “Really? You know you deserved that, Aria.”

“C’mon, Red!” Indigo shouted out, standing up from her seat and looking at Sunset with a wide grin. “I wanna see some more magic!”

Various shouts of agreement rang out from the rest of the students, Sunset grinning sheepishly as she looked back at Dean Cadance.

“I am still struggling to comprehend that magic is real, and that other worlds actually exist, but as long as you don’t damage the bus, I think it should be fine.” She said with a calm smile.

“Alright!” Lemon cheered, pulling her headphones down as she stood up herself. “Let’s see some fireworks!”

“I would prefer not to die on this bus.” Sugarcoat monotoned, eye’s not veering from the book in her hands.

“Wait! Let me get Ethyl Mk.3 out!” Twilight exclaimed as she started to rummage through her own backpack in a frenzy. “I could always use some more readings after all!”

Sunset sighed as she made her way over to Aria, the girl smiling before sticking her tongue out in preparation. “Are you ready there, Twilight?”

“All set up!” The scientist responded as she jumped in beside Adagio, the device in her hands giving a small hum.

“Alrighty, here we go.” Sunset said with a smile before closing her eyes. She concentrated on the magic inside herself, calling forth it’s arcane energies. She could hear the humming of Twilight’s device start to pick up, growing more excited as it picked up the energies radiating from Sunset. Slowly, an aquamarine glow gathered around her hand, the extremity starting to move forward and reach towards Aria, the girl humming happily.

“Aaah,” The Siren moaned happily. “Much be-b-b…” Her voice trailed off as her eyes shot open. “Gaaaaah! H-h-hooooot!” She shot to her feet, her hands rubbing along her tongue furiously. Sunset burst out in laughter as her magic died off.

“What’s the matter, Aria? Don’t like the taste of Zebra Fireroot?” She chuckled as tears started to stream down the girl’s reddening face.

“You didn’t!” Sonata cried out, laughing at the misery her sister was suffering from.

“Oh, Sunny,” Adagio purred, reaching out and rubbing Sunset’s arm affectionately. “I didn’t know you were so… deliciously devious.”

Sunset blushed as the rest of the Shadowbolts laughed now at Sunset, the amber teen coughing in an attempt to hide her crimson cheeks.

“Can you put out this fire!?” Aria begged, arms flailing helplessly.

“Alright, ya big baby.” Sunset sneered as her magic flared to life again, Aria letting out a happy sigh as the heat in her mouth died away, replaced with a nice cool.

“Smartass!” Aria said as she playfully slugged Sunset in the arm, the unicorn feigning injury.

“Oh, you wound me! However shall I go on in life?” The performance she gave was one worthy of Rarity, almost everyone bursting into more peals of fresh laughter.

“Would you stop being so overdramatic?” Sour groaned as she brought a hand to her face.

“Would it be better if I talked like this?” Came an extremely squeaky voice, Sour glowering playfully at Sunset who was whistling in an extremely high pitch, the aquamarine aura around her throat giving her away.

“Really now?” Was Sour’s response.

“I know, right!?” Sour said.

“Wait-” Sour started.

“What!?” Sour interrupted.

“God- C’mon, Sunset!” Sour sputtered out, playful anger being flung at the girl who had started mimicking her now.

Everyone was laughing, even Dean Cadence and Shining Armour.

“Finally!” Sonata shouted as she lept from the bus, happily landing on the rocky parking lot. “It was so hot in there!”

“Tell me about it.” Adagio said, fanning herself as sweat seeped into her curls. “I’m going to look forward to a shower to clean up.”

“How is it so much hotter in there than out here!?” Lemon complained as she got out of the bus, attempting to drain her water bottle of the last bits of moisture that remained clung to the sides.

Everyone finished making their way out of the bus, Shining Armor making his way to the side of the bus and unlocking the storage container and starting to remove all of the suitcases stored inside.

“Welcome everyone!” Called out a cheery voice, causing the teens to turn and face the newcomer.

“I would hazard a guess that you all are the group from Crystal Prep Academy?” Asked the young man accompanying a woman with pale reddish skin.

“Yes, we are.” Cadence said, offering a hand out to the pair. “You must be the camp directors?”

“Yes, yes! I’m Gloriosa Daisy! It’s nice to meet you in person, Principal Cadence.” Gloriosa said as she shook the cerise woman’s hand. “And this is my brother, Timber Spruce.”

“Nice to meet you!” He said with a large smile as he shook Cadence’ hand right after his sister.

“You can call me Cadence,” The acting principal said, receiving two nods in response. “And it is a pleasure to meet you two. As I said in the last e-mail, we were going to have a pretty small group, just me and my fiance as chaperones, and these ten girls.”

“Nice to meet all of you!” Gloriosa said as she looked over the students of Crystal Prep. “I hope you are all prepared for a fun weekend here at Camp Everfree!” The students responded enthusiastically, sans Sugarcoat to no one's surprise. “While we have you gathered I’d just like to go over some camp safety rules. Nothing too long though, so don’t worry!”

“Maybe it would be best for them to get their tent assignments?” Timber interjected, looking at all the luggage sitting by the bus.

“Actually, that works just fine!” Gloria responded, handing a bag over to her brother. “All of you young women will take turns drawing tents from the bag Timber is holding, while I go and show your chaperones where they will be staying!”

The two groups separated, Cadence and Shining Armour heading off with Gloriosa while the students lined up single file before Timber Spruce, the young man wearing a slightly too friendly grin.

“Alright ladies!” He said once his sister was out of earshot. “You all look really hot, so why don’t you all come grab your tent from my sack here?”

The girls were stunned, looks of shock barely hidden, or disgust in Sonata’s case. Sunset strode forward and reached into the bag, ignoring Timber who was wiggling his eyebrows, and pulled out a small cardstock card with a blue sphere sitting in the middle.

“Ah, looks like you got sapphire tent, very nice!” Timber said excitedly. “Do you know how sapphire got its name?”

“Latin for blue or something I think?” Sunset said uninterestedly as she walked over to her suitcase, hearing Timber sigh dejectedly.

“Come on down, lucky contestant number two!”

Sunset ignored the girls getting assignments, instead heading for the sign that read “Gemstone Gala”. It listed off various gemstones, making Sunset guess that she should head that way. She made her way through the winding tents, if they could be called tents. They were really fancy looking shelters, tall and covered with hardy materials. She reached forward and brushed aside the fabric that covered the door to the sapphire tent, gasping slightly when she took in the interior. It had two large beds, queen size Sunset figured, covered in what looked like silk sheets, given the way they shone in the limited light. Dressers of solid wood lay at both sides, mirrors sitting atop both, with night tables of the same, maple looking wood sat beside each bed.

“Wooooooow…”

Sunset turned around and regarded Sonata who was behind her.

“So this is our tent huh?” She asked, looking around in glee as she took in their tent. “This is so cool! I’ve never gone camping before!”

Sunset chuckled as she moved further in, allowing the bubbly Siren to rush in and belly flop onto the bed.

“Celestia bless air conditioning!” She moaned happily, Sunset shaking her head in amusement as she deposited her bag and suitcase at the foot of the bed frame.

“If only Celestia was here to get rid of that creep…” Sunset muttered softly, but evidently not softly enough as Sonata shot up.

“I know, right!? He was totally sneezing all over everybody! Doesn’t he know that we’re all too young for him?” Sonata made a disgusted face as she shivered.

“Well, not all of us.” Sunset said playfully. “I may be eighteen next month but I’m older than that back in Equestria.”

“Oh? How old are you, Sun-Shim?” Sonata asked innocently, crossing her legs on the bed and planting her hands on her knees.

“Er…” Sunset looked around in worry. “Did-didn’t I already say?” She gave a worried chuckle to go with her fake smile.

“I don’t think you did?” Sonata stroked her chin in thought. “Does it matter though? I mean, I don’t even know how old I am!”

“True…” Sunset sighed. Next to the age of the Siren, she was positively newborn. “I’m turning twenty five next month.

“Awwww, Sun-Shim is hitting her first quarter century!” Sonata cooed adorably, baby talking the unicorn, much to Sunset’s chagrin.

“Ya, ya…” Sunset responded, her hands resting on her hips. “Yuck it up, granny.”

“I don’t have any children.” Sonata responded. “At least, I don’t think I do?”

Happenings at Everfree: Nice and Clean

Sunset hummed happily as she sorted the strands of multi colored hair on the sleeping Siren’s head, Sonata snoring and giving happy little coos periodically. It had been a wild night, just like Sonata had promised, but probably not as she intended.

Sunset shifted her legs around as she giggled, stroking a finger down the soft aqua cheeks of the girl with who she was sharing a bed with. Sonata was full of adorable moments while awake, making silly comments or overreacting over the silliest things, but while she slept she had a strange, childlike innocence about her.

The Siren gave another happy little giggle, turning about suddenly and wrapping Sunset in a loose hug, burying herself in the plush bosom of the amber teen. Sunset gave another chuckle as she continued to work with the girl’s hair, removing knots and straightening out curled hairs.

A small beam of light started to filter in through the mostly drawn blinds, the sun starting to rise high enough to colour the world. Sunset blinked momentarily as the room brightened slightly, the girl giving a small, muffled yawn. She hadn’t slept at all the last night, but still found herself brimming with energy even though Sonata had passed out a few hours ago.

She gave a sad smile as she untangled from the girl, kissing her on the brow when she noticed Sonata starting to give a small frown. She slipped her legs over the edge of the bed, feet resting on the soft floor as she raised her arms above her head in a stretch, her muscles giving happy little pulls as the girl moved about. She looked over at the mess that was supposed to be her bed, moisture still spotting the mess of the sheets that littered the plush mattress. Hopefully that would dry up over the day, but given the early season heat, Sunset was worried about the smell soaking into the tent.

Hopefully she could think up something to remedy the situation while she took a small shower. She gave a small smirk as she stood up, Timber would probably love to see her cross the campgrounds to the showers in the nude, and he probably wouldn’t be the only one. She walked softly over to her suitcase as she thought back on the young man, wondering how desperate he had to be to hit on high school girls, even if they were graduating soon. Given all the weak pickup lines and lewd comments, he probably thought of himself as a regular Casanova type.

She started to dig through her suitcase, resolving to pack things away later when she was done her shower, throwing clothes in loosely folded piles as she searched for her towel and bathing supplies. Rarity probably would be shocked at how little she was taking, whereas most anybody else would scoff at how much she packed.

She pulled out one of her fluffiest towels, rubbing her face affectionately against the fabric as she remained kneeling on the floor, a cool breeze starting to waft through the air vents in the tent. She threw the towel over her shoulder as she continued her search for the bag of various shampoos and moisturizers, giving a small chuckle when she thought about the size of the suitcase. Velvet had lent the teen one of the family’s smaller suitcases, yet it appeared as if it could carry a small family in it, the teen wondering how much further she would have to dig.

She grabbed one of her nightgowns as it appeared, setting it also on her shoulder. It would be useful in covering herself as she made her way to the showers, as well as the rather risque pair of panties that found its way into her grasp. Why did she even pack these? Oh, right. She remembered the instant her hands clutched around them, the silk feeling perfectly chilled and oh so delectable.

Finally digging out her bag, she looked back at the Siren, giving a small gasp and a few giggles when she found Sonata had thrown off all of the covers. Her arms laid splayed out, one leg bent up somehow while the girl breathed softly, large smile on her face. Lamenting that she couldn’t join her friend, Sunset set about to getting somewhat dressed, the panties sliding up her legs and securing themselves lightly against her hips, while the knee length gown of pure white slid down her arms and rested around her, protecting her body from wandering eyes. Well, somewhat.

She gave one last look back at Sonata, before hefting her towel back onto her shoulder and carrying her large selection of cleaning supplies out of the tent with her. The small fabric doors made way for the girl, her eyes blinding as even more light flooded them. It must have been late nights for everyone else, as no one else seemed to be up and about at the moment. Securing her sandals to her feet, she made her way along the dewy grass that covered the campground, wandering along the main path. She was half tempted to go into the various tents and yell at everyone to wake up, but thought against it when she thought about how she would feel if someone else were to do something similar.

She kept her eyes peeled for Timber, but did her best to not appear like she was actively looking by hiding her intentions by looking around at the scenery of the camp. The trees were blooming wonderfully, the pines rustling as animals started their running around for food and mates. The air was starting to become the stage for the orchestra of various birds that sang out in dulcet tones. She smiled as she crossed the barrier of the Gemstone Gala grounds, making her way into the heat of the camp.

Crack

Sunset paused when she heard a branch snap from the small grove to the right. The morning was still fresh so she couldn’t see to far into the woods, but she thought she spied… something. She was about to take a few steps closer before she heard a rather annoying voice call out to her.

“Good morning! You sure are an early riser!” Timber Spruce called out, grin already plastered over his face. Didn’t he get that she wasn’t interested in his lame babbling?

“Morning.” She replied bluntly, moving to pass him and praying to Celestia that he got the message. Instead she had to sigh internally when the young man decided to walk beside her, attempting to make small talk.

“Y’know, I could carry that bag for you!” He offered not so innocently, hands reaching out towards her large bag, only for Sunset to pull it away.

“It’s fine, I’ve carried heavier.” She replied, not sparing a look back at him. God, he was so annoying.

“Heh, I bet.”

Sunset paused, looking over to the young man just in time to see his leering gaze move away from her chest. A loud crack resounded through the air, followed by the sound of her bag hitting the ground and Timber Spruce stuttering away and clenching his cheek.

“You pervert!” She half shouted. “Stay the fuck away from me and the others, or Celestia help you.”

She didn’t wait for a response. She picked up her bag in her stinging hand and made her way towards the showers. At least they were cordoned off and not unisex, she did not need to have him attempt to ‘join her’ as she tried to clean his sleaze off of her. She stomped away, or at least stomped as best as her flip flops would allow, cursing that she didn’t still have hooves. Those let idiots know not to mess around.

She sighed when she got to the front of the women’s shower, looking around to make sure Timber wasn’t chasing her still. With no Timber Spruce in sight she grabbed the door handle and pushed, the wooden gate allowing her to cross the threshold.

“Waaahg!”

“Oof!”

Sunset walked in just in time to hear two recognizable voices, followed by a small thud of something contacting another thing. She set down her bag and rushed around the corner, trying to make sure everyone was fine.

“Hey! Are you girls al...right…?” She paused when she came around the corner, freezing upon seeing two of her friends on the ground.

Indigo Zap laid down on the moist rubbery material that made up the shower room’s floor, arms laying at her sides.

Sunny Flare was down on all fours, shaking her head to try and get the water out of her bangs.

“Well now, what have I just walked in on?” Sunset asked slyly, Aria worthy grin spread across her face as her arms crossed underneath her bust. Sunny was kneeling over top of Indigo, the two of them naked and laying just outside of one of the shower stalls, the ‘door’ swung open and lying motionless against the next stall.

“Er…” Sunny Flare started to blush immensely, but didn’t move from her position, her breasts somewhat covering Indigo’s smaller rack from Sunset’s prying eyes. Thankfully the two only had their top halves sticking out, Sunset wondering what their bottom halves were like at the moment.

“It ain’t what ya think it is, ya perv!” Indigo was wearing a blush so deep, she looked ready for a firefighter team to come put her out.

“Mhmm…” Sunset responded, obviously unconvinced by the two that still had yet to get up. “So what you’re saying is that I didn’t just walk in and interrupt two of my friends make out session? ‘Cause I mean, why else would you two be sharing a single stall in an empty shower room.”

“Um… The other one’s aren’t working?” Sunny offered uselessly, Sunset hiking a brow as she pointed to another shower that was still running.

“I swear, Red! If you tell another person about this, your magic ass is toast!” Indigo said, the girl struggling to get out from underneath Sunny.

“Indigo!?” Sunny Flare looked across at Indigo in shock as she kneeled up, surprised at how honest the girl was being about the situation.

“What? No reason not to tell her the truth. I trust her to not spread our secret.” She looked down and somewhat bent over, offering a hand to Sunny Flare, the girl graciously taking the assistance to get up.

“So what are you doing here?” Indigo asked, looking back at Sunset, her hands resting on her hips as if she was daring Sunset to take a look at her nude body.

“Um, to shower, ya numbskull.” Sunset shot back playfully as she reached down and pulled her nightgown up over her head in a single motion. Indigo chuckled as she watched Sunny Flare go a deeper red than even she had been.

“Oh right! Money Girl here hasn’t had a chance to see you in the buff before.” Indigo said, playfully nudging the blushing Shadowbolt in the side, before reaching out to stop the girl from pitching over.

“Heh, I guess that’s right…” Sunset said as she wondered how the girls would react when they all went down to the beach later. Sure, they had to put up with her in uniform at school, or casual wear when they were out and about, but Sunset had made sure to bring a little more risque bikini to this trip, again she didn’t know why.

She finished removing her underwear, tossing all of her clothes into one of the empty storage stalls and hefting her bag over to the still running shower.

“Er, it’s been running for awhile, it’s probably cold now.” Sunny said as Sunset entered her former stall.

“Perfect.” Sunset exclaimed as she entered the freezing cold wash, her skin instantly developing goosebumps as she shuddered happily. “Though it should really be you two in here.” She said when she finally stopped her teeth from clattering.

“Oh, hah hah.” Indigo said, pulling Sunny Flare back into the stall and reaching down, pulling up a shampoo bottle and squeezing some of the viscous fluid onto Sunny Flare’s head, tossing the bottle away and massaging her friends head vigorously.

“In all seriousness though, I’m happy for you two.” Sunset said as she concentrated on her magic, the water slowly warming up due to the spell she was channeling. “How long have you two been together?” she asked as steam started to pour from her stall. The two other girls looked at each other, shrugging before turning back to look as Sunset.

“About a year? Maybe?” Indigo said, returning to her focus on scrubbing Sunny’s shortish hair.

“That sounds about right.” Sunny Flare added, before breaking i to giggles. “You were so adorable when you asked me out.”

“Sh-shut up, Money Girl!” Indigo said, reaching around and delivering a nuggy to the giggling girls scalp.

“Oh? Do tell, Indigo dear.” Sunset said, smiling at the giggling couple.

“Yeah, start from the beginning!”

All three girls froze. No.

“I would love to hear how you two started banging!” Timber Spruce said, leaning against the threshold from the room in a relaxed manner. All three girls gave shrill shrieks, the trio ducking and covering themselves up.

“What the actual shit are you doing here, you fucking asshole!?” Indigo shouted, reaching down and hurling the shampoo bottle at the grinning man. He ducked with a chuckle, the bottle sailing over him and clattering against the wooden wall behind him.

“Well why can’t I be in here?” He asked with a shite eating grin. “These are unisex showers after all!”

“No their not, you incorrigible sleazeball!” Sunny Flare shouted in hatred. Sunset felt ready to beat the pulp out of him.

“Obviously, none of you bothered to read the sign on your way in then.” He said in smug satisfaction, leering at the cowering girls salaciously.

“I would suggest you hide the sign better next time, douchebag.” Aria said as she spun the man around, decking him in the bruising cheek with a savage hook, followed by Sonata cracking him in the head with what appeared to be a wooden sign.

“I can’t believe how pathetic you are.” Adagio said in a disgusted matter, looking down at the man who was now sporting a bloody nose. “I suggest you get out while you can still breathe.”

He shrugged as he got up, wiping away the small trail of blood oozing from his nose.

“So you girls like it rough, that’s fine. I know all of you will get to see my wood soon.” He said as he waved farewell, making his way out of the extremely hostile environment.

“That ballsless fucker!” Aria screamed, struggling to break free from her two sisters and chase after Timber.

“Sit, Aria.” Adagio commanded, the girl giving one last attempt at breaking free before huffing and crossing her arms.

“Yeah! We got video evidence of him tinkering with the signs, we will show it to Cadence and Gloriosa Daisy after we make sure these two get back safe.” Sonata said, comforting her still fuming sister.

“Whatever.” Aria said, pouting adorably. “I’m just pissed off that he may have gotten a chance to see Shimmer in the nude before I did.”

Everybody present groaned and face palmed, the three wet and naked girls immediately returning to their showers.
