It has been seven years since I healed Chara, she’s changed a little bit physically and mentally. Sadly, she still keeps on getting in trouble but it's not as severe, thank the three goddesses.

Speaking of changing, I’ve done the same. I think my mind has been affected by this body as it has changed who I am. I still remember my original name, but for some reason I find it more comfortable in using this body’s name rather than my own. It’s a little bothersome because of the twisted magic that was placed upon us when we became displaced.

Over the years, Chara discussed with me of what we would do when certain events came up, she claimed that we should be the heroes. I had to reason with her that it is not a good idea to try to change fate, the mane six are supposed to become the new elements of harmony according to Chara. However, she insisted we try to help incase it doesn’t go according to what she knows, already she doesn’t trust this universe after the shock she went through that one night.

Other then that, there are a few other things that changed, I think there is some sort of otherworldly power out there affecting me, I’ve been finding comfort more with my Displaced name than my original, and it’s kind of bothersome. There is another thing I don’t understand, and that's when I started growing facial hair, a blond mustache and a goatee to be exact. Link didn’t have that thought, so why is it happening? Is this some sort of sick joke?

Another weird thing I forgot to mention, is that Chara’s body hasn't aged at all, even after one year since her arrival in my world, she hasn’t changed a bit, she simply shrugged and told me that she guessed she truly is immortal. The ponies were understandably confused on why she didn't age.

Morning soon came as Celestia raised the sun and I woke up alongside it, no one can sleep when her sun’s rays peak out from the corner of your window, something about its magic having an effect on those who see it. Except for Chara, she tends to protest and mumble about wanting to blow it up. Speaking of her, I told her about her sleepwalking problems when she tends to snuggle up with anyone nearby.

Of course, she kept denying it, even if she does wake up first to see me there. Heck, she even woke up sleeping with Princess Celestia back in Canterlot, I still remember what Celestia told me on how much Chara freaked out about that, especially after the guards came bursting in hearing her screams.
But hey, that’s Chara for ya, she’s a little kid when she’s tired and calm, but a bit of a firecracker when she’s not, you can’t really blame her for being Displaced when her mind was altered to fit the body.

Let’s not forget the bad times, like when the nobles hired thugs to kill Chara after she called them out on their bullshit. Boy, I still remember the looks on those diamond dog’s face when we fought them, poor sods didn’t stand a chance. Despite us giving them a beating, Chara went.. A bit overboard when she went after them days later.

I had found them with their throats ripped out, I had to take them out to the everfree forest and allow mother nature to use them as fertilizer. Chara is damn lucky the place works fast, otherwise I’d hate for Chara to be on trial for murder. Hylia damnit, Chara..

But today's the day Chara said the Nightmare escapes and everything will start to revolve around them, we’d best be prepared to make sure they become the new elements of harmony.

“So, do you remember the exact events before she arrives tonight?” I asked Chara as we walked through the streets of ponyville.

“Well. Twilight arrives, meets Pinkie then Applejack, um… Come on, Chara. Think! Oh, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy and then the Nightmare. Once she gets here, I'm going to attack her head on to try to delay her as long as possible..” Chara said, taking a moment to pause. “Plus, I have a score to settle with her!”

“We both do, Chara. She tried to mess with both of us. Just remember, Princess Luna is still in there, I mean this world's Luna.” I said, scratching under my chin’s facial hair.

“Yes, but you know the Everfree better than me. Sure, I could tear my way through it but you know how she hates me.” Chara said with a sigh. Of course, she means mother nature, Chara was surprised when one of the Timberwolves talked to her about it.

“If it hasn't changed much, but if it has, I’ll need to ask her to guide not only us, but watch over the mane six.” I said. I reached up and stretched out my arms over my head, letting out a strained groan before snapping my arms back down to my hips.

“Even with her watching out for them, I think you should go with the mane six, Link.” Chara said turning her head to look at me.

“Sounds like a plan, you’ll always come back like a phoenix. Not unless she’s created a spell over the years since then, so be prepared.” I suggested, I was about to speak again when I was suddenly pounced down upon by a certain pink mare.
“Gah! Pinkie!” I exclaimed with the wind knocked out of me.

“Hi! Sorry Link, it's just I’m preparing a party and I forgot that I never hosted yours. So! I’m going to make it a three-way party!” Pinkie Pie said, bouncing up and down on my chest with energy. She stops with her hopping, giggles, then leaps off apologizing. “I’m just so exc-”

“No!” Chara screamed interrupting Pinkie “and by no, I mean hell no!”

“Bu-but.. I have your favorite flavor, its chocolate ca~ake” She said that last word with a singsong voice.

“Get me some booze and we'll talk” Chara said with a smirk knowing that they'll never find it

“Booze? What a silly word. Boooooze” Pinkie said with a giggle. “Does Cider count?”

“No, not strong enough.” Chara said with a straight face.

“Come on, it’ll be fun!” Pinkie said, suddenly listing off fun games by counting more hooves than she originality- wait, what?

"Pinkie unless I'm shit-faced drunk I'm not going.” Chara said with a shake of her head.

“Awwww, party pooper. Oh well! I know Link will come, won’t ya?” Pinkie Pie said as she turned to my direction.

“Uh…” I look toward Chara, I wanted to know if this party is before or after Nightmare.

Chara shakes her head behind pinky slowly mouthing the words ‘Don't go.’

“I’m sorry, Pinkie. We’ve got alot to do.” I said. Suddenly, Pinkie pie started giving me the puppy dog look. “Hey, don’t give me that look!” I said with a frown. That look of hers was pulling at my heartstrings and filling me with confliction. “Would of been nice if I had the Four Sword right about now..” I mumbled under my breath.

“Got to go, poink!” Chara said with a smile before dashing off, leaving both Pinkie and myself confused.

While Chara is out of ear range, I lean forward toward Pinkie and cover the left side of my mouth with my hand. “Could you save me some Mint Ice Cream?” I whispered to her.

“Can do, Linkie!” Pinkie Pie said, making me blink at the sudden nickname she just gave me. With a skip and hop, she was well on her way to… wherever the party was being hosted.
“Hmm, what can I do before tonight's uneventful terror comes?” I said to myself, stroking the bottom of my chin in thought.

I decided to follow Chara to town hall where the event was going to take place. There, I saw Chara setting up some kind of contraption above the spot Nightmare was going to appear. I noticed that the place was decorated with fine jewelry, I even noticed a few rupees hanging around… Huh? Since when did those start growing underground?

I noticed Chara pull out a bucket of glowing green stuff, making me curious as to what she was planning. She places it into the device I assume she created, she then proceeds to connect the wires.

“When did you have time to make that and where did you get it?” I said as I reached up to scratch my head.

“Gha!” Chara screamed when I startled her, causing her to fall off the rafters. ”God dammit link you could have gotten someone killed other than me. do you know how volatile that fucking acid is!? it was made to kill Discord.” Chara yelled at me

“Whoa-whoa-whoa! Chara, you’re gonna end up killing Luna in the process! Remember? She’s possessed by the Nightmare. Are you trying to become Celestia’s number one target?” I asked in disbelief at Chara’s recklessness.

“It's only a last resort, Link. If the elements fail, I'm dragging both myself and the Nightmare here and activating it.” Chara said her cheeks puffed out and her arms crossed.

“Cute.” I said, reaching down to ruffle her head. “I said no, Chara.”

“But what if the elements fail? I've seen what happens and it's bad, Link.” Chara said looking down at the floor.

“I have Faith, Chara. But if it does fail, let’s not resort to killing. Unless it is by Celestia’s hooves.” I suggested. “That way, she’ll be sad by her own guilt rather than sad and raging at you.”

“Link, she won't be able to take a life, so I'm keeping this!” Chara said being the stubborn child that she is.

“Chara, she was in a war with her own sister and who knows what followers or minions she might of had..” I said, trying to reason with Chara.

“I know but Celestia is too soft to kill her own sister.” Chara said, turning to walk away

I let out a sigh. “Alright, if you say so.” I said, reaching into my magic pouch to take out something that contained food that Mr and Mrs. cake made for me. Upon opening it, I bet Chara is giving me one hell of a confused look, because what was in the wrapping, was a single slice of pizza. It wasn’t much to look at, mostly four cheese with tomato sauce. It was simple looking, me and the cakes are experimenting with it, it's not as good as the ones from my world, but they did a decent job.

“Link, what are you doing?” Chara asked looking at me in confusion “You know I only like pepperoni pizza!”

“Hey, I couldn’t get that, I’d have to go to the griffon nation if I wanted to get any meat.” I said with a frown at Chara. “I had to go with the more simple recipes without the cakes questioning me.”

“Were you going to try and bribe me?” Chara asked me in suspicion putting her hands on her hips and looking at me with narrowed Eyes.

“What? No. What am I, a psychic?” I said before taking a bite out the cheese pizza.

“Good.” Chara said before her stomach rumbled she looked up at me before saying ”I'm heading to the cakes, don't touch my trap or you might die!” She said before swiftly running off to sugarcube Corner for her daily dose of chocolate.

I shrugged my arms in response then focused on the delicious triangle of cheesiness. Minutes pass as I finished it, putting the wrap back into my pouch. I notice that there were ponies staring at me in curiosity. “Oh, uh.. It’s called a Pizza, just go to Sugarcube Corner, it’s the latest on their menu.” I said. And when those words left my mouth, they were suddenly running out of there.

I heard Chara scream in the distance “God dammit, Link! I know this is your fault”

In a form of mockery, I raised my hand up my mouth to hold back a chuckle, I was trying to reenact and copy the expression Link did in that very bad CDI game.

“I think it's time I discuss with Everfree.” I said mentally, making my way over to the forest, I spoke to her and formed a plan for myself, both of us serving as temporary guardians to the mane six, she questioned me a few times that we shouldn’t interfere if anything they come across could teach them a lesson.

~Meanwhile, Chara’s PoV~

“It's almost time.” I whispered to myself. I was nervous and pissed at the same time, nervous because she was an alicorn and I didn't know if I could take her, and two, I was pissed because she had messed with my mind in the past.

I watched as all the ponies start to panic when old sunbutt didn't show up, I was readying my soul telekinesis when that bitch makes her entrance and lo and behold there she is.

“It has been many years, my wonderful ponies~” A voice echoed throughout the Town Hall. “And now-” But she cut herself off when she saw me. “You!” She hissed angrily.

“S’up parasite.” I said putting all of my arrogance into my words, pulling out both of my knives. “I think it's about time for round goddamn two.” I said trying to come off as an arrogant assholes.

A moment of silent dread swept across the air, but a lone unicorn broke through it by pointing out the fact it was Nightmare Moon. The Nightmare didn’t even acknowledge it, far to focused on me.

“You looking for that spell you put on me? yeah you're not going to find it.” I said with a shake of my head. I reached out toward her, gripping my knives tightly. With a pulling motion of my hands, I attempted to try and rip the souls out of Nightmare’s body. She screamed in pain, but it quickly fades to a maniacal laughter.

Suddenly, her eyes take on a glow, becoming nothing but black and purple. Since it wasn't working i had my knives change to Orange.

All of the ponies screamed in fear, causing them to flee and run out. The Nightmare was filling the room with a toxic gas made from everypony's fears. “You may have escaped me once.” She said, her voice suddenly sounding like a duo of voices.

“Well at least this time, you don't have your hacks. We are in the real world now bitch.” I said Conjuring up hundreds of tiny orbs around us before they flashed Orange.

“Oh, you poor unfortunate filly.” She said with an evil giggle. “I still have power regardless of where we are, fear is my power!” She suddenly launched forward in physical form, suddenly looking like a draconic ponified Betty head.

I waited for her to get an inch in front of me before I activated overclock which works like the Kaio Ken from DBZ so i can move out of the way, activating all of the orange Soul bombs left behind and destroying the entire town hall in the progress. I stopped in front of the Town Hall before turning to look at the rubble.

“Cute.” A voice commented, reforming outside of the rubble. “But that won’t work..”

Everypony is screaming and running away, while a group of familiar ponies was running away with Link toward the library tree house.

“Huh, I always wondered why nobody used their strongest attack first,” I said trying to channel Sans knowing full well that this wasn't my strongest attack.

“The birds should be singing...The Flowers should be blooming, at times like these bitches like you...” I said before my voice turned demonic “Should be burning in hell”

“Oh-hoohoohoo, I’m going to enjoy this. But first, a small present~” She said. With a cosmic spark, I’m suddenly hit by a powerful force, I feel good, I feel wonder, I feel like… I feel like… singing- waitwhat? Before I could even ask what happened, my vocals were being forced to tell her how I felt. I even heard music being played out of nowhere.

Throughout the battle of our fight, I was singing Indestructible by Disturbed.
Clearly, Nightmare was enjoying this way too much, she even commented in a whisper on the choice of lyrics.

Using my soul’s overclock ability I quickly moved in front of her and tried to stab her straight in the throat for a quick kill, but she blocked with a blade made of dark shadows she conjured, I managed to barely escape and avoid being impaled when she had a spike erupt right from under me.

I jumped above her and quickly manifested a spinning ball of black and dark blue soul energy. I slammed it into Nightmare’s back, shredding her armor and slamming her into the ground. she cast a short-ranged Blink spell to get behind me before I could attack her again. She attempted to fire off some kind of magical laser, forcing me to side step out of the way. With my knife, I threw out a light blue soul chord to grab hold of her, swing her above my head and slam her into the ground. She in return, did the same to me, slamming me through through multiple buildings, into the ground, and eventually throwing me across town and into Sugar Cube Corner. I was able to get back on my feet before she appeared right in front of me swinging a shadow axe down on my head. Forcing my body to further overclock, I managed to move the Nightmare away from ponyville and into the castle of the two sisters, I didn’t want more of ponyville’s residents to be harmed by her.

She remained silent, continuing to attack in a barrage of shadow weaponry. Lances, daggers, hatchets, you name it, she has it. Her attack was mostly barbaric without a sense of pattern or strategy. each attack filled with hatred and insanity. I was already getting tired quickly until she eventually caught me in her levitational grip.

“What’s wrong, filly?” Nightmare asked, looming too close for comfort. She was so close that I could count the many fangs in her maw.

I started giggling knowing that I had made sure that the true wielders of the elements of harmony had escaped. “You've lost nightmare.” I said with amusement in my voice

Nightmare hissed loudly, suddenly stabbing me with black tendrils, but most of them didn’t even hurt me. Slowly, I was raised into the air by black spears of ice impaling my body, the bitch was doing this on purpose.

“I know how you work, filly, it’s quite impressive how you can come back from death.. But how long can you endure the pain till I drain every ounce of your blood?” Nightmare asked with a echoing laughter.

“You're not even causing a tenth of the pain my Celestia did.” I said through gritted teeth ignoring the pain she's putting me through.

“Then let me try a simple curse~” She said in a very uncomfortable sexual tone of voice. Her eyes blazed brightly, causing my body to ignite in a gentle flame. Eventually, she lets go of me and drops me onto the ground. I slowly got up but I'm forced to lay back down when pain begins to assault my body, I didn’t see anything, no tendrils, no dark energy, no nothing.

It was starting to get worse to the point that I couldn't suppress it anymore I started screaming the only thing on my mind other than pain was the thought “I am Chara! I don't break!”

“I’m not trying to break you, I just want you to suffer for eternity, for the rest..” She said before leaning close to my face. “Of your..” She looms close to my ear. “Immortal life~”

~Everfree Forest, Link’s PoV~

“Why couldn’t we have stayed behind and helped? I bet I could take her easily!” The rainbow maned pegasus said, making me sigh in annoyance.

“She is the Nightmare for a reason. And right now, my main priority is to keep you mares safe.” I said as I followed them through the Everfree forest.

“He’s right, Rainbow dash. We don’t know how powerful she is and I believe the elements of harmony will help me. By the way, why did you insist we leave that filly behind to fight for herself?” A lavender mare asked.

“Her name is Chara, and she is what you’d call a Soul Master, she uses the attributes of human souls to perform attacks fueled by Determination, she’ll be fine. I know her all too well, she may die a lot but she won’t stop.

“Die a lot!? How can you say that, you brute?” A marshmallow white purple maned mare asked.

“...She can’t die for good, she keeps coming back from a star that is left behind, allowing her to keep fighting until her target is as good as dead.” I answered, ignoring the angry glare the fancy mare was giving me.

Suddenly, the lavender pony ran up in front of me. “What do you mean she keeps coming back? Once you’re dead, you can’t come back. It’s physically impossible.” She said.

“...You claim impossibility, yet your very princess controls the sun AND the moon?” I asked, stopping her before she can try to come up with a logical answer.

“Hey, who are you anyways?!” The technicolored pegasus questioned.

“Don’t talk to my friend in that tone of voice, Rainbow Dash.” Fluttershy spoke up after her long moment of silence.

“Wait, your friend? He’s that tall pony you’ve been talking about?” Rainbow dash said.

“I was going ask the same thing, might we get your name?” The white colored unicorn asked. I raised my hand up and lowered my cloak.

“My name is Link, Ponyville’s protector.” I said. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie already knew who I was, but I heard the two colored toned unicorn gasp in realization.

“Wait, I remember now, I read of you in my studies about a tall bipedal creature who would come and go.” she said.

“Protect? You don’t look so tough, I bet I can beat you in fore-arm wrestling.” the multiple hair recolored pegasus claimed.

“Forgive me of my rudeness, but perhaps we could release the tension just a ttiiiiny bit? I mean he already knows two of us..” Fluttershy said, softly circling the ground with her hoof.

Each one introduced themselves, each one using a unique greeting, all except two of the ponies.

“Now that introductions are out of the way. We should continue our journey before things get… ugly. Chara is trying her best to buy us some time. ” I commented, picking a direction according to Chara’s information.

As we continue along the path, the mane six were commenting on how scary the forest was, I rolled my eyes at the things they were saying. Rainbow tried to scare them off, making me groan in annoyance. “The only thing you need to fear are Timberwolves and monsters, I used to live in these woods.” I said.

“You lived here?” Twilight asked, but before I could answer, the sound of Chara screaming to the heavens. “Fffffuuuuuuuuuuuuck!”

“..We need to get moving quickly.” I said, quickly turning around and resuming where I was going.

During our journey, I came across something rather unexpected, it was an old temple. Chara didn’t say anything about that..

“Link? What’s wrong?” Twilight asked as she walks up to my side.

I looked around, noticing that there was no way around it, plus I don’t think the Everfree will be willing to move a forest just for us to pass. Further searching revealed that there was a door that had six different cutie marks.

Once all six came near the door, it suddenly opened up, I went to lead in but I was stopped by an invisible barrier.

All of us entered the temple, following old halls long abandoned, eventually, we walked into a large room. All around us were six doors, each one having a door with different cutie marks.

“Wait.. This is where the elements are being held, I recognize those old unicorn designs.” Twilight said as she placed a hoof on the nearest wall. “Sorry Link, according to the old books, it will only allow us through, why it has our cutie marks, I don’t know..”

“Oh.. Alright.” I said, crossing my arms. “I guess I’ll wait out here then, but please, don’t take long..”

Twilight smiled before walking over to her door, everyone else did the same and I was left alone waiting.

Every minute I kept hearing Chara scream out, making me impatient and very worrisome. I can just hear her now raging at me, asking as to what the hell took me so long.

Almost an hour past until finally the temple’s doors opened up to reveal the mane six each holding a gem, I got up and smiled, but it was short lived when I heard evil laughter. Lo and behold, there she is, Nightmare Moon, holding Chara in her telekinetic grip, she was screaming in agony with tears in her eyes.

“Your friend finally told me where you were going… Link.” Nightmare said with a wide fang grin. “Resistant little filly though.”

I looked at Chara as she looked at me, her eyes pleading for me to stop her pain. “Nightmare, that’s enough, you’ve got what you wanted.”

Out of curiousity, I decided to use the Wide Angle.

Name: Nightmare Moon
HP: 3410/5000.
The nightmare of the moon, an evil parasite that feeds off of negative emotions in order to grant powers to their host, but too much of it will allow it to possess the host.

At least Chara did some damage to the bastard.

“Oh no, I’m having way too much fun and I plan to turn her into my own personal play thing when I’m through with you.” Nightmare said before letting out a loud demonic hiss that sent vibrations through everyone’s body.

“Let’s go, girls!” Twilight said.

Turning around, I notice all of them raising into the air, their gem circling around them. I was expecting a rainbow beam, but… it didn’t happen. Instead, the gems glowed brightly, filling them with some sort of unknown power.

Each pony went on the aggressive side, each one displaying new found abilities.

Pinkie pie, with her element of laughter, allows her to defy reality and provide her own cartoon physics humor.

Rainbow Dash, with her element of loyalty, allows her to move faster than before, she was blitzing Nightmare left and right, the demon couldn’t even catch up or react!

Rarity, with her element of generosity, was releasing weird powers that involved using explosive crystals, giving nightmare a bad time.

Applejack, with her element of honesty, had her strength was increased to allow her to hit even harder than before.

Fluttershy, with her element of kindness, was able to heal her friends from any injury and undo any curse.

And last, Twilight. With her element of Magic, now had more control over that power, allowing her to have access to a larger selection of offensive spells.

Finally the moment came when Nightmare dropped Charra, Fluttershy came to the rescue by picking her up and taking her to safety. With a gentle touch, not only did she heal Chara, but the spell of pain was undone.

Chara looked around to see what was going on after the pain went away only to find everything wrong around her, she started to twitch like crazy, causing strands of her hair to start to stick up before she started mumbling to herself. “This is not right, not right at all.”

“This is an outrage!” Nightmare screamed out. Every hit of harmony magic that struck was nullifying her powers, she couldn’t do anything, it felt exactly like the time when she lost access to fear during Chara’s dream.

I couldn’t help but chuckle in amusement, the big bad nightmare was getting her flank handed to her.

But I knew good things wouldn’t last long when the twinrova witches flew in. At first, the mane six thought they were getting reinforcements.

“This is a gift from our Master, use it wisely.” With a mad cackle in their voice, they casted some kind of spell, forcing Nightmare to undergo a powerful transformation.

She grew in size and changed color, becoming more monstress and mutated. I tried the Wide Angle again.

Nightmare RedMoon.

With the Twinrova’s spell, she has become more of a nightmare, allowing her to warp a tiny fabric of reality as if it was her own dream.

“Hylia…” I quickly reached into my magic pouch. “Fucking damnit!” I placed the fierce deity mask onto my face, granting me the body of a demonic god.

I was pissed off!

But before they can leave, Chara screams. “That's it, killing you both!” With an outstretched hand, Chara aims a bolt of yellow and orange soul energy at them. Due to them being occupied with their spell, they were hit full force, interrupting their spell and sending them flying.

Reaching into my back, I pulled out my Helix Blade as it hummed to life, causing magically charged energy to dance along the edge.

“Seiyuu!” I charged at the powerful Nightmare, not caring how powerful or ugly she looked, I wasn’t going to kill her, but I was definitely going to give her such a thrashing!

I was on the offensive, unleashing blades of arcane might from my sword while the mane six gave it their best, their harmony powers attacking full force.

“It’s no use! We need to attack as one!” Twilight said.

“We ARE attacking together, what are you saying?” Rainbow Dash said as he dodged a weird claw hoof.

Due to how freakish she looked, she wasn’t even bothering to talk, she was too busy laughing manically and smiling with her huge tuskes. None of my attacks were having any effect on her, every attack dealt she was healing up instantly as if she was wolverine!

This was getting old though and it didn’t look like any of us were gaining any advantage. “Twilight, you need to unleash the Harmony Beam!” I said, using the information provided by Chara. “Channel your powers into a single centered point and ai-” I was cut off when Nightmare swoops a mutated hoof claw, knocking me into the wall. I scream out in pain, “Din damnit! That hurt.”

“Hey, bitch! you forget about me!” Chara said as she came down on top of her with a with a marble-sized ball of black and orange Soul energy before jumping off right before it blew up taking a good chunk out of The Nightmare. While the attack was indeed powerful, it unfortunately did nothing.

“Heh ha ha ha ha, AHHAAHhahahah!” She laughed hard, her mouth split open wide to reveal a million teeth, suddenly, her laughter was cut off when I released my Arrow Of Light at her mouth, allowing the power of holy magic to explode in her maw.

“Now’s our chance, girls!” Twilight screamed as they all channeled their energy to unleash the famous rainbow beam everyone knew from Celestia. The one and only, Harmony Canon!

Nightmare screamed out in pain as the beam of harmonic magic blast into her body, her form beginning to fizzle and falter.

“Taste the rainbow motherfucker.” We heard Chara scream and laugh wildly behind us.

The forest was filled with light, blinding both me and Chara, I heard Nightmare’s scream fade away into the distance.

When the light cleared, there on the ground laid a young cute filly, I ran up to her and picked the small pony up, she was out cold.

"Wakey wakey Moonbutt.” Chara said from behind me

I gave Chara an angry glare with my glowing white eyes. “Now is not the time…” I said to Chara.

At that moment, the sun finally came up to greet the day, but for some reason it was brighter than before.

“Hey Sunbutt! Moonbutt is over here.” Chara yelled after the light died down.

Celestia appeared when the light cleared, letting out a sigh. “Hello again, Chara..” She said, sounding very drained.

The filly in my arms began to stir. “..W-wha-... Where am I-” she started to say, but her voice got stuck in her throat when she saw me.

“Don’t worry, everything is fine.” I said with a soft voice. For some reason, she blushed at my words.

“Hi Moonbutt” Chara said popping her head over my shoulder

The small filly didn’t hear her, still staring at my face. Celestia slowly came up, her presence breaking the hypnotic trance Luna was in. “S-sister!” She stumbled out of my arms when she got out. “I-i’m so sorry, sister, it was the parasite, I wasn’t myself I-”

Celestia gave Luna a big hug, making me tear up to see Celestia happy, and it wasn’t just a poker-face smile.

But Chara ruined the moment. “So, Sunbutt? how you going to introduce your sister into the lunar throne?” Chara said moving between them

“One step at a time, Chara.” Celestia said when Chara rudely got in the middle.

“W-who is this creature? And that..” She turns to look at me and I raised my hand to wave, she turns around with that same blush. I was a bit confused, why did she keep doing that when she sees me?

“Greetings, I'm Chara. I'm the one that pissed off the Nightmare and held her off so these guys could get the elements oh and that's Link” Chara said passively mentioning me.

“...O-oh.. I.. I remember you, but you didn’t look like.. Well.. t-this..” Luna said, she was stumbling over her words.

“It’s because of the mask, here, lemme show you what I actually look like.” I said, reaching up to grab my face, pulling it off as it releases a stream of magical power.

“How did you…” Luna said, she was very confused at how my face became the mask.

“Long story short, I have access to magical masks that grant me forms of spirits that were healed by my song, allowing me to become their form as reward for healing their sorrow.” I explained, this seemed to spark curiosity and interest in her eyes, I had to raised an eyebrow at that.

While this conversation was going on, the mane fsix was berating Chara about her reckless choice of fighting Nightmare moon alone instead of coming with them, especially Twilight who was teaching her the meaning of respecting the princess. Pinkie Pie didn’t really care, she found the nickname Chara gave Celestia to be funny.

“I swear book horse I've been calling sunbutt ‘sunbutt’ for a long time.” Chara said to Twilight before turning to the rest. “Besides you all call me reckless? I can afford to be reckless, I can't die!” Chara said emphasizing each word. “And you, shut up book horse.” she turned to leave but was stopped by Rainbow Dash “Out of my way gay pride.” Chara said with annoyance in her voice

“Listen here, midget. I don’t like your attitude!” Rainbow Dash said, defending her friends from Chara.

“Girls, please!” I yelled to get their attention. “I’m sure everypony is just in a bad mood since the night has lasted longer than usual, once we return to Ponyville, we should get a in a good sleep.”

“Shut up Link this is between me and gay pride!” Chara said interrupting my speech.

I let out a sigh as I saw sparks fly between Chara and Dash’s eyes. Celestia stepped in between the two. “Link’s right, though.” Celestia said.

“What the hay does that even mean?” Applejack asked.

“Oh, be quiet hillbilly, we're not talking to you.” Chara said dismissively towards Applejack.

“Now now, that’s no way for a little filly to talk.” Rarity said.

“Shut up marshmallow you're not my mom.”Chara said glaring at her

“M-marshmallow?! I am not fat!” Rarity said with a huff.

“Why can’t we be friends? Why can’t we be friends?” Pinkie pie in a rather familiar sing-song voice. She makes her forearms stretch out impossible lengths to give everyone, including Chara, a big group hug.

“God dammit Sugar Rush let me go!” Chara screamed trying to get out of her hug.

“My name, is AppleJack!” She said with a huff, she was ready to lay the smack down on this hoe down, even if she is trapped in the hug.

“Nope, never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, unless you’re friends with everyone!” Pinkie Pie said with a- wait… is.. I-is she doing the awesome-face smiley??

“I swear to God I will shiv you in your sleep!” Chara screamed in rage.

I sigh again, Celestia raised her hoof. “Let them, I’m sure they’ll run out of stamina soon” She said, beginning to walk away. “I’ve had a bad day, I don’t have the energy to split them up..”

I decided to follow Celestia, i’m sure the mane six will be fine. Besides, I’m tired as hell after that hell of a fight.

“So uh..” Luna started.

“Sorry, I know you have many questions, but can it wait?” I said, trying not to use the wrong tone of voice.

“Just one?” Luna asked as she looked at me with those beautiful blue eyes.

“..Alright, just one..” I said with a sigh.

“Who is that filly and how does she hold so much power?” Luna said as we began to walk through the forest. So I explained from the start to the finish about Chara, her powers, her world that’s been destroyed. The only details I didn’t provide were the masks.

“So that’s why she’s so…” Luna stopped to look for the word.

“Sour?” I finished her sentence.

“Yes, Sour.” Both me and Luna chuckled together.

I saw Chara running away from the mane six, she quickly pulled up her menu and vanished from sight.
