A few hours had passed since the Everfree Forest battle. With Erebus finally defeated Zoro, Sanji and the other displaced that helped Nick through this endeavor returned home to their universe. Nick's eyes slowly opened up as he was resting in his bed in his old room in Twilight's castle. A smile spread across his face as he quickly stood up, after all the trials. All the tribulations, all of the pain. He did it. He beat Erebus. A wave of confidence washing over him, looking in the mirror that was next to his bed and over his dresser. Nick rubbed his chin raising an eyebrow, his beard was growing a bit to big for his liking. "I'll have to cut it down to size later, but for now...I've got some stuff to do!" Nick was fully aware of what the princesses intended to do with Erebus considering he damned answers after his defeat and he was taken into custody. Being sent to Tartarus was fair in Nicks eyes if he was being completely honest. But for now, Nick didn't want to dwell on that, he had things to do that did not include worrying about Erebus or going through some more emotional trauma!

Getting dressed for the day, Nick looked in the mirror one last time and smirked widely, today was going to be a great day. A brand new day. After exiting his room and making his way down the hall, Nick passed the Map room. Pausing and looking inside, he spotted Twilight who was currently conversing with Spike as to test out a new original spell she created. Nick smiled but then frowned, the princesses didn't want him to go into details about the defeat of Erebus or his fate now. The Mane Six, his friends only knew that Erebus had been defeated the night before while they were all sleeping.

Nick sighed heavily, walking past the door, but not completely evading his friends. Twilight hearing his sigh and teleporting beside Nick. "Good morning Nick!" She said as Nick looked at her, having a smile on his face. The human greeted her back, "good morning! What's up Twi?" Nick asked, the alicorn princess looking up at him. "Oh nothing much, I was just wondering what you were up to is all."

He smirked and patted the top of her head, "I was planning on hanging out with Eris today. Considering for me, I haven't seen her in a long time while I was inside the book training. So I am very eager to see her again!" Nick admitted, rubbing the back of his head a little embarrassed. Twilight smirked and bumped Nicks side, "aaaaah, I'm still interested in the fact that book holds its own universe..ruled by..."

"Hermaeus Mora." Nick stated as he shook his head, "if you want, after I get done chillaxing with Eris for a while. I wouldn't mind telling you about it."

"Thank you!" Twilight said, hugging Nicks legs and wrapping her wings around him. Nick looked down at her, a smile forming on his face as he patted the top of Twilights head. 'I actually forgot how much I missed the sweetness of the girls.' Nick thought to himself as he smiled softly, "don't mention Sparkle Butt." He said smirking as he then moved away from her embrace, going to the main doors of the castle, he pushed them open. Only to be slightly spooked by Eris who was waiting directly in front of the door for him. "Nick!" She said, the Mistress of Chaos wrapping her body around Nick and pressing her head against his.

Nick blinked and blushed softly, it was gonna take a bit of readjusting to get used to Eris' form of affection after not having it for a phat minute. Nick leaned his head back into hers, returning her affection by giving her a soft kiss on the nose. "Hey sweetie! What's on the agenda today?" He asked.

Eris giggled as she disappeared and reappeared in front of him, "well I wanted to show you something in particular!" She said extending her paw out to Nick, he raised an eyebrow. But took her paw regardless, Eris snapping her talons together and making both of them disappear.

Reappearing inside of a very VERY chaotic living room, Nick blinked as he looked around. Some of the furniture was on the ceiling and there was a flight of stairs that where upside down. Along with a few statues of Eris that stood on the walls, "welcome to my home Nick!"

Nick looked around, "well, its just as I imagined it...very chaotic. But at least it isn't as fucking creepy as Hermaeus' book..." Nick had grown rather number to staying in a sort of fucked up pocket dimension, "but it is a very lovely house." He said looking at Eris and smiling.

She blushed and rubbed a talon against her hair, "well..I heh, I try! I was just thinking I'd maybe show you around just in case you wanna...y'know, live here with me..." Eris said as she bit her bottom lip. Nick then began to look around intently, his finger stroking his beard. "Yeah I wouldn't mind moving in, but not right now. Considering I just got back to sleeping in my bed in Twilight's castle. Besides, me, her, and Starlight where gonna be testing some potions. But lets not dwell on that now! Today is about me and you babe," Nick said as he took her paw and claws.

Eris smiled as she blushed even more, leaning down and pressing her nose against his. "Heh..I'd like that~" She said as she leaned into him and kissed him deeply. Nick kissed her back, a low groan escaping him before his eyes then snapped open. "Hey woah...uh, Eris..." He said as he then wiggled out of her grasp.

"Yeah? what's wrong?" She asked raising an eyebrow, Eris was kinda hot and bothered now. "If we're gonna do a lil bit of BUMPING AND GRINDING, we need a bed first." Nick said in a half joking tone, Eris blinked as she looked at him and snapped her talons together. The two reappearing on her jell-O bed, with Eris over Nick as she leaned down and pressed her nose against his neck. "On second thought...maybe it'd be best if we just sorta...relaxed? Y'know? Considering Erebus is now put away, we can finally fully relax."

Nick smiled and nodded, "yeah. I'd like that a lot...a good nap next to the best looking gal in all of Equestria sounds good right about now..." Nick said as he leaned in and kissed her forehead, Eris smiled and closed her eyes. "I never understood why couples take things slow..but now I understand, this feels nice..." She stated.

"Damn right." Nick replied as he closed his eyes to fully rest and take a nice little nap.

So this is really short, I know. Buuuut the next chapter after this should be a lot longer, we're doing a few chapters of Equestria mishaps before we go into the next big 2 parter! Ciao~!
