Nick's eyes slowly fluttered open as he groaned softly, his arms where swinging back and forth underneath him and land flying by below him. He was...in the air?! He shook his body a bit, only to find resistance someone or something was carrying him...

"Stop struggling felon...we have you restrained." A voice said above him, Nick looked up as his eyes came into contact with the snout of a fully armored dragon. His vision clearing up as he then looked around, there was seemingly a whole squad of fully grown dragons around him.

'What did I do?' He asked himself in his mind, Nick knew he had to get away however. "So I assume you didn't do any background checks on me huh?" He asked the dragon carrying him.

The dragon snorted, "We’ve seen what you can do creature...you kidnapped one of our brothers, and you shall face trial!" He replied growling.

Nick arched an eyebrow, "listen man. I don't know what you're talking about, but I do know that this has to be one big miss understanding...but. Rule of thumb or...er...claw." Nick raised his hands up, "never leave the arms free."

Nick clicked the faceplate of his watch, scrolling through the list of aliens and then pushing down on the popped up dial.

His body shifted and changed in the dragons talons. His form grew yet his limbs grew skinny, a pair of icy blue wings forming on his back. His green bug like eyes opening up, "because this may happen." He said, the dragon looked down at Nick with a confused expression, his talons starting to freeze as Nick phased through his talons.

Floating in his air with his wings spread the whole squad of dragons stopped looking at him, he gave them a two fingered salute with his boney fingers before bolting. "AFTER HIM! DO NOT LET HIM ESCAPE OR THE QUEEN WILL HAVE OUR HEADS!" The dragon that was carrying him ordered. The squad gave chase to Nick, the Necrofriggen looking behind himself at the massive dragons.

"Persistent..." He said to himself as he began to pick up speed, smoke was coming up from what looked like volcanos nearby. Nick’s bug liken eyes looking at them intently, he would’ve smirked by now. ‘I could lose them there, at least one of us can phase through walls.’ He thought as he flew, quickly dodging a dragon trying to swipe at him. Nick countered by blowing his icy breath in his face, frost forming over his snout and eyes.

Nick then quickly turned as he flew, a plethora of dragons getting on each side of him, opening their mouths Nick’s eyes widened as he quickly darted downward, evading the flames barely.

Just as the dragons predicted, a massive form smashed over Nick, his arms wrapped tightly around his body as the two crashed into the ground, “AGH!” Nick grunted, as the dragon pinned him to the ground.

“Do not try to run!” The dragon shouted at Nick, the Necorfriggen found he couldn’t phase, “w-what!?” Nick shouted, he looked at his neck.

There was a collar with a gem on it, the soft blue glow shining brighter. “It’s an inhibitor collar. We don’t know what you are, but we do know you WILL go to trial, I am the captain of this squad. The prince- Queen…wants you to stand before the Dragon Kingdom for your accused crimes.”

Nick growled slightly, he turned his head away from the dragon as he looked seeing what he was headed toward, a sky filled with dragons.

‘So much for escape…’ Nick thought as the dragon wrapped his talons around Nick and pulled him up. Suppose he actually had to go to trial for what exactly? Suppose he just had to find out.

“Bring forth the accused!” A voice said as Nick’s eyes slightly adjusted to the sudden light in his eyes, the smell of smoke filling his nostrils and making him cough. The extreme heat made him feel a bit uncomfortable but he could manage, Nick having returned to his human form along the way looked up at the Queen.

He snorted and then laughed a bit, a blue dragon that he was taller then? That was there Queen? He hallowed in laughter, the dragons watching the trial staying silent before the Captain yanked Nick’s collar making him gag a bit. “Silence welp, Queen Ember, we bring forth a creature that meets the description of Regincards kidnapper. It tried to run but we caught him.”

“No shit…” Nick muttered under his breath, Queen Ember approached Nick. “Do you have any say creature?”

“Yes actually, what is the circumstances of the kidnapping? What proof do you have it was me? Because trust me. I know who did this…” Nick said as he looked Ember in the eyes.

“Then let the trial begin!” Ember said as the dragons let out a massive uproar. Nick sighed softly as he shook his head.

“So do I take my seat oooooor?” He asked as Ember looked at him. “We will have many dragons having to take a vote on your innocence. Seeing if you are proven guilty, as a last trial to test you. You shall face my champion. But until all votes are cast, we shall be questioning you in the dungeon.” She explained.

Nick sighed softly, “fine. FINE! I’m getting a weird sense of deja vu…” He said softly as he and the captain made his way to the dungeon. Ember watching him as she narrowed her eyes, her personal guard speaking up for the first time. “Shall I inform the ponies of your actions?” He asked.

Ember rubbed a talon against her chin before pushing the thought into the back of his head, “no. This is a dragon matter, if the ponies would like to see their friend executed so be it. He must face justice for his actions.” She said, “prepare the voting booths.” She then made her way to the dungeon.

Nick sat in the cell as he sighed, his hand on his cheek as he heard the clicking of the door.

Queen Ember standing in front of his cell with a large staff, Nick looked at her and sighed. “So, shall this interrogation start?” He asked rolling his eyes slightly.

The dragon nodded, “now. My subjects say they have seen a creature matching your description kidnapping a member of my personal guard.”

Nick sighed as he rubbed his nose, “when was this?” He asked as Ember replied, “a couple of days ago.”

“Listen then ok? There’s this guy, he’s named Erebus and he’s trying to take over Equestria with mutants. I remember fighting a mutated dragon not only a few days ago...but he had this weird symbol on his back.” Nick explained.

Ember began to think to herself as she closed her eyes, “that was him then. But it is not up to me to decide your innocence. It is up to the public.”

Nick’s eye twitched, “BUT THEY’LL BE COMPLETELY FUCKIN BIAS!” He shouted as Ember nodded. “I know. Which is why we give our accused the chance to fight in the arena, a sort of second chance to not being executed.”

“Who is this...champion anyway?” Nick asked as he raised an eyebrow, “he is a ruthless dragon not to much like you. In terms of a physical body, he’s tall. Muscular but slim, fast but strong, patient but aggressive. Many of the most dastardly dragons have fallen to him in combat, of all shapes and sizes. The Merciless Executioner is what they call him, we rarely even have to execute the dragon or creature in question...he finishes the job for us.” Ember said as Nick raised an eyebrow.

“Well gee, I’m liking my odds then.” Nick said as he took a deep breath, “fucks sake…” He grumbled.

“Considering I’ve never seen a creature like you…perhaps you will stand a chance,” She tried reassuring him as Nick rubbed his eyes. “Yeah gee, thanks for the words of encouragement…”

“I should be getting back to check on the votings, stay here and please don’t try to escape. It’ll only look worse for you…” Ember said as she stood up and began to walk away.

Nick leaned back in his damp cell, looking at the ceiling. He was sweating, “god damnit Erebus…” He growled to himself. Closing his eyes Nick decided to get some sleep, when he awoke he was more than likely gonna have to fight for his fucking life. Again...

Yes guys I am finally back in full force! I've had the idea of Nick being in a sort of gladiator pit for a while, considering I've wanted a good action chapter again since my time gone. But I do finally have my computer working better then ever! SO except the next part up tomorrow or the day after!
