Rainbow Dash grinned as she looked up at the skies. Clear, warm, beautiful. This almost made her forget about the party they were going to have later that evening. She chuckled, thinking that Pinkie was going to sneak sugar packets into the punch and make any-pony who drank it have an insane sugar rush, and go loco.

"Hey, Dash!" It was Pinkie Pie herself that bounded up to Rainbow, as if she was on cue or something.

"Hi, Pinkie. So, what's new?"

"Oh, nothing much. Just getting ready for our party!"

Yep, Pinkie was a force to be reckoned with. Well, a happy, jubilant, hot pink pony that would give you her wallet if you had a gun at her head, but a force nevertheless. Giggling profusely, she hopped off to wherever she had came from. Rainbow Dash sighed watching her go, and flew back home, in order to get ready.

"Oh, Opalescence! Don't go on that silk! It's for my new dress, darling!"

Rarity's soft, flowing voice filled the room as her cat jumped off the material, and went off to go lie on something else, preferably a chair.The unicorn then turned to the silk, as she picked it up, and started humming a little tune. She had just finished the skirt when she heard a noise. It was a soft pattering, but it was a sound nevertheless. It might have been rain, but Dash had cleared the skies...

She looked outside to see the grinning pegasi, of whom had put a raincloud over the Carousel Boutique. She blushed angrily, but it soon turned to pleasure as the rain stopped, and her friend beckoned for her to come outside. She took one last look at the half finished dress, and then rushed outside to meet her.

"You didn't forget about the party, did you?", Rainbow asked with a dissaproving stare.

Moments later, the two broke into laughter. "Of course not," Rarity replied. "It's going to be the biggest bash of the YEAR!"

Little did they know it would become much more than that....
