None of the ponies believed that Nocturne was nothing more but a normal unicorn under all that mysterious darkness, that this thing that covered his body had turned him into a living nightmare capabel of unnatural power and destruction.

"Celestia, it worked! But....is that really...." Luna said.

"I think so, there is no other explanation, he is the one who i must kill...." She said with a little hessitation in her voice.

The unicorn let out a small laugh and later placed his right hoof on his head.

"To think that i have failed, again! I guess i shouldn't be surprised, i was like that my entire life, no matter how powerful i was becoming, i had to sacrifice something! Somepony dear to me, to think that my every step into the future was made out of corpses! All of them pilled up together, all of them so warm and later cold."

All that burst of emotions was too much for the nameless unicorn burst into tears.

"It's because of my failures that i wanted to keep going! I wanted to find a way to be somepony! Even a hero but without sacrificing those around me or see others sacrifices themselves for me! But i should have known that such a path is not achievable nor does it exist."

"There was always such a path for you to take Nocturne. You just didn't try hard enough, instead all you did was simply look yourself in your room, drown in your sorrows and cry yourself to sleep. After that you would just come out of there two or three days later and pretend that those bad things didn't happen. You never apologised and you cannot change what you have done!"

The unicorn gasp and his body started trembling.

"It's not true! I wanted to change, i just.....i couldn't!"

"Yes you could! And don't you dare blame the powers of the Corruption that course through your veins. You always said that you were the master of your own power and you didn't let it control you. Or was that a lie as well?"

"Listen to me carefuly Celestia! It's not easy being me! IT'S NOT EASY KEEPING IT TOGETHER WHEN YOU HAVE SINED SO MUCH AS ME! WHEN YOU HAVE SLAUGHTERED AND RAPED SO MANY! I AM NOT A MINDLESS KILLING MACHINE CELESTIA! I HAVE FEELINGS, I CAN UNDERSTAND THE PAIN THAT I CAUSED!"

"THEN WHY DID YOU CONTINUE!?"

"I DON'T KNOW ALRIGHT?! I DON'T! I DON'T FUCKING KNOW WHY!" He said and lowered his head.

"I just....thought that, if i were to give up now, all the sacrifices i made, all the time that i spent in my room studying magic, all that magic and power that i stole from others would be for nothing! I would have killed them all for nothing! And if i had stopped then and there, i wouldn't be able to live with the guilt."

"You are a hypocrite Nocturne. Your lust for power blinded you and removed the word 'guilt' from your head. You can not feel such a thing, the only thing that you live for is power, to steal it from others and take their lives to satisfy your unholy desires and nothing can change all that you have done! Nothing!"

The stallion let out a small laughter that started growing louder and louder. Then from around his body a dark aura started forming up.

"I will make you eat those words Celestia! I will kill you right here! RIGHT FUCKING NOW!"

Nocturne's shadow then started changing and it jumped out of his body and appeared above him. His shadow was that of his Nightmare form but this time it had red glowing eyes.

He lifted his hoof up and said.

"I SACRIFICE MY BODY AND MIND TO THE DARK GODS! TO RETURN ME TO MY FORMER GLORY AND BRING CHAOS AND DESTRUCTION TO MY ENEMIES! TAKE IT ALL DARK ONES!"

He shouted and bite his own hoof with all his might causing blood to splatter on the ground and when he did, the shadow above him swinged its blades and cut Nocturne's body into pieces, the shadow then melted into the blood pool that was created and from it Nocturne appeared again but this time, his powers and form were restored.

"Y' YMG' AH ZHRO" He shouted in an unknown language and started running towards her.

Celestia stood her ground without fear and she waited for her enemy to close the gap between them.

"COME ON NOCTURNE!" She shouted and Nocturne got even angrier.

And as he was running, he stood up on two hooves and jumped high up in the sky, covering up the Sun and later coming down on Celestia full force. She lunged her sword forward to stop him in his tracks but that didn't happen. Thinking that her brother was consumed by rage and recklessness, he would defenetly not dodge her attack but he did.

He moved asside the blade's edge and fell on top of Celestia. He stabbed her through her with both her blade and bite her on her head before passing through her horn which was also into his mouth. He then shut his jaw with so much force that he face and horn were ripped out of her head. Her remaining body then started melting into him and she was Consumed.

And with that final attack Celestia was killed and Consumed. Her powers along with her form and memories were his. The sword that she carried however was affected by this and it remained unscratched.

The ponies around started panicking and cowered in fear for they knew that they were next and nothing could save them now.

Nocturne stood up in two hooves and massive long tentacles came out of his body, piercing through everypony on the platforms. He then let out a powerful scream and pulled them into him, melting and Consumed the moment their skin touched his body.

"POWER!" He shouted and looked up in the dark skies.

"I HAVE DONE IT! NOW NOTHING CAN STOP ME NOW! I WILL DESTROY THE OLD GODS! I WILL BRING PEACE AND JUSTICE TO THOSE OTHER WORLDS UNAFFECTED BY THEIR FOUL TOUCH! WITNESS ME CREATOR! WITNESS ME O GREAT ONE!"

He then grabbed the Gem of Creation from his chest armor and said.

"I demand the Creation of a world which is created by the most powerful of magics out there! A world which i will Consume along with this one and become an Ethereal Being of pure power! So much power and wisdom that even the Unkillable Dark Gods will fall before me! Now....CREATE!"

The moment he said that, the red gem was destroyed and near the Earth another planet was created. That planet was blue with purple powerful energies around it. This planet was made out of magic just like Nocturne wished it, it contained immense amount of power and he was gonna Consume that planet and gain immeasurable power.

He looked up and saw the planet in all its glory and he couldn't be more happy.

"Yes! That's it! All that power within my grasp!"

He then placed his hoof on the ground and another tentacle came out, piercing the surface of his castle, then the ground and it kept on moving down until it reached the Center of the planet. There, it pierced through the New Heart Of The World that the Gods placed after Nocturne removed the previous one and placed it within his chest.

"And now the other....." He said and placed his hoof up in the sky.

And just like before, a tentacle came out and started making its way to the other planet. The tentacle pierced the skies, it reached the cold and dark space but it didn't stop. It pierced the planet's atmoshpere and later its ground and just like the other planet, it too reached the Heart Of The Other World.

Nocturne was finaly connect with the two planets via his tentacles and the only thing that he had to do now, was violently pull out his tentacles and let the two planets melt into him and Consume them along with all their power.

"And now....the moment of truth!" He said as his heart started beating fast.

He then violently pulled out both of his tentacles at the same time and the two planets started to slowly melt and Nocturne found himself floating in the middle of space as the process of Consumption was still continuing but rather slowly compare to ther times he Consumed something.

"It will take some time it seems, no wonder why to be honest, these planets are big and carry more power than the others, not a problem for me though, i can wait! And i will wait."

With each passing moment, Nocturne gained more and more power and the giant planets around him started to slowly disappear.

"It's amazing! Oh i feel so good, all this power! All this magic! It will become mine! Ah!" He gasped in pleasure.

And after a lot of hours the two planets were Consumed and were no more.

As for Nocturne however, his mass had changed. He was no longer a dark pony with bat wings and glowing eyes no. He kept his pony form but it was different. His body was decorated by Dark Stars and his skin was purple, on top of that three giant glowing orbs of power circled around him, his eyes were pure darkness along with his twin blades which were now made out of Ethereal power. And on top of that, he was carrying in both of his hooves two black planets.

He had now reached the true limits of his power.

And thus, he marched to the Absolute Nothingness where the Old Gods were sealed. The battle couldn't be measured in time or anything else like that. It was a battle between one New God versus the unmeasurable Powers of Evil.

But in the end, Nocturne lost. He lost the battle against them and the only thing that remained was him completely naked with his armor and blades broken. He was stuck in the darkness of the Absolute Nothingness.

He then heard a laughter but didn't bother to look up to see Him. He was Consumed by his sorrow and his guilt for what he had done. because he failed.

"To tell you the truth Nocturne i am impressed. I never thought that you would go this far to achieve power, you make me proud." The Fallen God said.

"Just get this over with, i have nothing left to lose in my life. "

"Oh? Why is that?"

"Because....i killed them, i killed them for their power, all of them but....i still failed...why?" He asked himself.

The Fallen God closed in on him and said.

"Nocturne, no matter what you have done, no matter the power you collected. It was never your destiny to defeat me alone."

"Alone?" He asked.

"Yes, for you see you only did it for revenge, you did it to have more power!"

"That's not true!" He shouted and faced the Dark God.

"I did it to save those that you haven't touched yet! To save Creation, to save us all!"

Phobetor then slapped him on his face and said as Nocturne fell down on the ground.

"You still don't get it do you? After all we have been through? I made you! I made you so that you are power hungry, i made you so that you may only care about yourself and nothing more. I made you to be my Harbinger of Doom on the world! To feed me a small portion of the power that you steal! And that's it, that is why i created and why you act all Power Hungry and nothing can change that, just like Celestia said."

Nocturne started processing all this information and he came into a conclusion but at the same time, he found a way to change things, to win the battle.

But Phobetor got wind of his idea.

"And what are you thinking Nocturne? Do you really think that you can do it?"

Nocturne started laughing and said.

"I may not be able to defeat you Phobetor but i know somepony who can! And with the help of his sisters, i am sure that he can destroy you!"

"Then by all means, try what you have in mind but don't forget that if you do try that, you will unleash Him."

"I don't care! It is a risk i am going to take, i didn't lose the war against you Phobetor, this is just a minor setback!"

When Nocturne said that, he charged his powers and a portal appeared behind. He then immediately crossed it and it closed behind him.

The Fallen God let out a laugh and said.

"And another Circle begins...."

Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of Armonia, a colt Nocturne was in his room studying a book on his desk. That Nocturne had no armor or blades yet, his wings were dark yellow, his skin was a little grey and his eyes weren't glowing as much.

He then heard a knock from his door and said.

"Come in."

But there was no response.

The little colt moved next to the door and opened it but what he saw from the other side was something that he did not expect.

"What the..." The little colt said.

In front of him was the adult version of himself and before the little colt could process what was in front of him, he was pushed into the room and the door was closed.

"What is happening, who are you? Where did you come from!" The colt asked in fear.

Nocturne placed his hoof on top of his younger self's shoulder and said.

"When you grow up, you will become great and powerful. You will achieve your dreams and you will make friends and find love but know this."

He later placed his other hoof on his other shoulder and said.

"In your journey you will murder and rape thousands of innocent ponies to get what you want, to satisfy your needs and desires but we can change that. A great evil is coming and it is up to you and your sisters to stop it."

"What...." The young Nocturne was still speechless.

"I can't stop it but i have faith in you to do so, i will grant you my powers, my memories, so that you may learn from my mistakes and change destiny for the better. But be warned, a shadow will be following you. A being who i sealed in the debts of time itself, know that he is the second worst threat that you will ever face. Take care Nocturne."

When he said that, tentacles came out of his hooves and pierced right through the young colt's shoulders.

The young colt screamed and cried out in pain but at the same time, he felt great power coursing through his veins and after a second or so, the adult Nocturne melted into the young colt and all his powers were now his.

The little colt stayed there for a second and in just a second, all of Nocturne's memories flashed right through his eyes, he saw all the evil that he had done, all the suffering that he caused and he could also hear the screams of those that his future self killed, he couldn't take it anymore.

The little colt started crying and screaming as the powers that he received were released left and right due to him losing control over his sanity.

"What the Hell! AH GOD! This isn't real! This can't be real! HELP ME! SOMEPONY!"

When he finished shouting, he released from around him a massive amount of dark energies that swallowed up the whole Kingdom of Armonia and destroying the land around it leaving nothing more than just a desert.

The little colt in fear started looking around but he saw nopony, not a single soul.

"Please...somepony, don't leave me alone! SOMEPONY PLEASE!"

For a moment there all hope was lost for the little colt. Until he heard a voice in the air.

"Do not despair young one Hope is not yet lost."

Nocturne turned around and saw in the air a glowing humanoid figure. That figure had next to it a golden bauble that in it had the younger versions of Celestia and Luna.

The figure then placed the bauble down and the two princesses were set free.

"Nocturne! What happened, where is everypony?" Celestia asked.

"Yeah didn't you see what happened? Are they ok? What about mom and dad?" Luna asked.

"I....i don't know." Nocturne gathered most of his sanity to say those words.

The three ponies then looked to the figure that said.

"An ancient evil has awakened from its deep slumber and you three must rise up to the occasion and defeat them once and for all, only you three can do it, It is your destiny but you will not be alone. I will guide you on your way to the final battle and you will defeat the Old Gods."

The three ponies didn't say anything, they couldn't gather up the courage to say anything they just looked at the figure speechless.

"Now come, before i sent you out on the field you must be trained and reach the limits of your bodies, there is no other way."

The three ponies still intimidated by this didn't move a single muscle, until Nocturne stepped forward.

"Where are you going?" Celestia asked.

"He is right, we have a lot of work ahead of us." The young Nocturne said with a serious tone.

"But, we don't even know him! We have to find out who caused all this destruction! We have to find our family!" Luna argued.

"This doesn't matter at all, the only thing that does is this. We have to train, we have to avenge those that died here today! We have to make a stand and change everything because if we don't, then who will?"

The two sisters started thinking about it and part of them wanted to join him and the figure but they were just fillies, they were young and they had no idea what they were getting into unlike Nocturne who got the memories from his previous self.

"But...i don't think that we can do it...." Celestia said.

"That is why i am here, i will prepare you and i will teach you how to fight the Old Gods and their minions."

The tree ponies looked at each other, nodded and said.

"Very well, if there is nopony left to do it, then we will." Celestia said.

"We will get revenge on those that died! We will get revenge for the deaths of our family!" Luna said.

"We will change destiny!" Nocturne said.

The figure smiled and with the snap of his fingers the three ponies were teleported away.

Embracing their destiny, the three ponies trained and studied under the mysterious figure. And the more they grew up the more they were haunted by the day that their parents were killed in that explosion, that their whole kingdom was blown to bits but unlike them Nocturne was suffering the most, because for the rest of his life, he is going to live with the memories of his previous self, a self that he hated for what he had done but he swore to himself that he will become better, he will do the right thing and he along with his sisters will put things right.
