Nocturne then stabbed his sword to the ground and released a massive shockwave that pushed away a little everypony around him.

"Do you see me now? Do you see how strong i am? The Mask of the Leper King has granted me the stregnth to overcome every physical attack that is thrown at me!"

Celestia couldn't help herself but cower in fear before him, her instincs told her to just run away and be done with it. But she couldn't, it was like if someone had chained her hooves to the ground.

"I may have sacrificed my magic and flying but as i said before! I am willing to give up EVERYTHING! AND I MEAN EVERYTHING! EVEN MY FAMILY IF IT MEANS THAT CREATION WILL PREVAIL! DO YOU SEE IT SISTER? THIS IS THE POWER OF MY RESOLVE! THIS IS THE POWER THAT ALLOWS ME TO DEFIE THE PAIN THAT IS INFLICTED UPON MY BODY AND MIND! AND THIS IS THE POWER THAT YOU WILL NEVER GET TO HAVE!"

And from his right hoof, fleshy claws came out and pierced through the bandages that were covering his hoof. He then grabbed the sword, dropped it's broken blade to the ground and started advancing towards Celestia.

"I...i can't do this...he...he is stronger than me now...there is no way i am going to suffer again! I have to run...i can't keep up with him..." Celestia thought to herself as memories of the past started invading her mind.

She remembered that day when she was fighting Nocturne at Trinia. She lost the battle that day and suffered a lot of pain and if it wasn't for Crossbleser who got there just in time to help her out, she would have died years ago to the same stallion that she fights today.

"Do not despair!"

Celestia heard the same dark voice in her head.

"Tell me Princess are you going to let Nocturne win like that? Are you going to let him! Wear the very symbol of Trinia? The City Of God? Or are you going to fight and put a stop to his blasphemous actions against the Light?"

Celestia thought for a while as Nocturne grew closer to her.

The dark voice was right. The Light is a beacon of hope for all across Creation not just the faithful and Nocturne was curropting everything he touched with his fell hooves, turning even the greatest of Lights into darkness and now he wears the mask of the King Of Trinia the City Of God.

She bravely pointed her sword at him and said.

"You dare wear that mask?"

"Who are you to ask such a thing? The King chose me to lead his Kingdom and i will do as the King Of Light commands! To bring peace to the followers of the Light! And death to those that would defie its greatness!"

"Nocturne....i will rip that mask right off your face for claiming that you do good! For threatening innocent ponies to follow a religion that they do not believe in! For inspiring fear and making wars to promote hatered instead of peace as the Book Of Revelations mentioned!"

Then in rage, Nocturne rushed at her despite the fact that his whole body had succumed to plague of the Leprosy and prepared his massive sword to crush her down.

But just when the blade started falling down on her, she dashed to the left, she aimed for Nocturne's neck and swinged her sword across it only to stop because Nocturne put the tip of his hoof up to protect himself. The sword was able to pass through the dirty bandages and into Nocturne's plagued flesh but he didn't show any signs of pain or suffering.

"WHY DO YOU EVEN CARE ABOUT THOSE HERETICS? THEY ALL HAVE OPPOSED THE WAYS OF LIGHT IN MANY WAYS!"

And he used his head to attack her's. But things didn't go as he expected, Celestia was able to hold her head high even after such a powerful attack instead of being knocked back.

"And so have you Nocturne.....even i! Everypony has done so, we were created this way not to be wise and right about everything we do but as ponies with free will!"

"Free will is a myth! It's a joke! If you do not cast aside your vulgar and licentious ways then you are not worthy of living under the Light!"

Nocturne then pulled his blade back and once it reached the ground he spinned around along with it in an effort catch Celestia off guard and cut her down right there!

But she was able to see through him and just as the blade came flying towards her she simply put her own blade next to her and stopped her brother's sword on its tracks. She then spinned her sword around so fast that Nocturne's claw was cut and his broken blade fell on the ground.

"I won't let your tyranny go on any further! I will cut you down where you stand!"

And she started relentlessly attacking and slicing Nocturne. Ecach strike that she would unleash against the mad stallion caused the red shroud to be cut into pieces and fall down on the ground along with tiny shards of his black steel armor.

That however did not bother him at all, Nocturne just smilled under his mask and said.

"Big mistake for cutting my claw off!"

And just when he said that he pushed his way through her blade and lunged his cut off bleeding hoof right into her mouth and he just kept forcing it further down into her throat.

"Do you like that? Soon you too will have Leprosy!"

And he kicked her back into the ground.

The others around couldn't believe what they just heard. Was Celestia now infected with Leprosy? Was she going to suffer the same way that Nocturne is right now? Or not?

"This is bad! She can't have the plague! Not now!" Sessuena said in fear.

Nocturne then walked away from Celestia who was still on the ground and said as he bandaged his cut off claw and picked up the sword with his other.

"You may think that you were in pain all these years ago when you first fought me like this! But now what you are about to expirience is beyond painful! But you won't get to live a tortured life as i did! But let me tell you! All these years of me carrying the plague of the Leprosy has allowed me to draw out so much power! Even if my body is falling appart because of it! I have reached levels of strength that other stallions only dream of!"

Celestia slowly got up in shock of what just happened. She spit out some of the blood that was in and around her mouth and picked up her sword while questions invaded her head.

"Am i really? Am i really infected as well? Oh my God....why me...." Celestia thought to herself.

"Don't worry....Celestia, you can still beat him!" The dark voice was heard again in her head.

"But how! He is stronger than i am! And now he infected me with Leprosy! I don't think that i can withstand its effects as him."

"You will have to only for a sort period of time and when i will be ready, i will heal your corrupted body."

"You.....you can?"

"Yes but you only need to trust me.....because in the end Nocturne will die and you will emerge victorious!"

Celestia believed in the words of the mysterious voice and once again she prepared herself for combat.

"I expected you to be in shock now that you too harbor the plague of Leprosy, tell me sister? Why am i wrong?"

"I have already told you brother, this is our final battle! The end of all! I am not gonna cower in fear in this moment! I am going to beat you and make sure that you won't hurt anypony again for good!"

Nocturne however sighted and said.

"You dissapoint me sister, even after all those years of war you still can't see the bigger picture! And this is the reason why you are going to lose!"

He then stood up in two hooves and smashed the sword to the ground. When he did that, an orange aura emitted from the sword and later from Nocturne's rotten body started coming out flys. The flys were so many that the sound of their wings flapping could be heard in the air and they all were flying around Nocturne as he made his way towards Celestia.

"Those flys around me will make the Leprosy from inside you grow faster. I suggest you stay away or by all means come closer so that i may cleave you in two!"

Then an idea came to Celestia's mind and said with a smile.

"Taste this!"

She then used her magic and tried to levitate Nocturne up in the air but it proved more difficult than it seemed no matter how much Celestia tried it almost seemed impossible.

"Try all you want Celestia! My resolve will never be shaken! I will not give in!"

"Then i will just have to keep trying until i succeed!"

She then started unleashing from her horn spears made out of light towards Nocturne, who took the hits without moving away a muscle. But with each strike into Nocturne's body, it only made him weaker and his flesh along with his armor started slowly falling appart.

"Hmm! Even if my body is slowly being destroyed! I still feel no pain!"

"Just shut up!"

And with a powerful roar she was able to lift Nocturne up in the sky and she started moving him up and down into the cold ground. The flys around him started dying each time she would smash Nocturne into the ground and the sword lost its orange aura. She later grabbed the sword from Nocturne's claw with her magic and dropped him down on the ground.

"Nocturne! You said that because you put the mask on that means that you have lost all access to magic am i correct?"

But he didn't reply and that gave Celestia the courage she needed to move on in the next phase of her attack. But just then, the effect of the Leprosy started taking appearing and Celestia fell down in pain.

"W-what is happening to her?" Fluttershy asked.

"Oh no, i think that...." Twilight started.

Then, from Celestia's body small holes started appearing and from there her blood started leaking out.

"The plague of the Leprosy is taking effect!" Twilight finished.

Celestia stood there on the ground in pain but to her aid came the mysterious voice again.

"This is the moment Celestia, let me take away your suffering!"

And when he said that the many holes that were created on her body simply disappeared and Celestia was back to normal again.

"Just.....how did that happen!" Sessuena asked.

"A lot of unexplained things have happend thus far but we can only question them later." King Cosmos said.

"I just hope that the two of them would stop fighting, that is my only wish right now. I can't bear to watch as two of my children slaughter one another, if only i could do something!" Queen Galaxia thought to herself as she watched in agony what was happening right before her eyes.

"T-that's impossible! Nopony can get cured of Leprosy!" Nocturne shouted.

Celestia however didn't say anything, instead she started running towards Nocturne with the both of her blades.

"Even without my sword i can still fight on! No matter how much i suffer I CAN STILL KEEP ON FIGHTING ON!"

And when he said that, he stood up in two hooves and started running towards Celestia.

"I will not be defeated! I will never be!"

And when the two met, Nocturne unleashed his hoof forward and was about to punch Celestia but she was able to dodge his attack and pierce both of her swords right into his chest and destroy whatever armor was left covering him.

"And now! Without any magic to heal you brother!"

She then roared and lifted him up in the air with her swords.

"I WILL SMASH YOU TO BITS!"

And she slammed Nocturne into the ground and caused his body parts to be seperated from one another with blood and organs decorating the ground below his massively mutilated corpse.

Celestia was taking heavy breaths after what she just did and the others let out a gasp when Nocturne's body blew up into this.....

"Is it over?" Rarity asked.

"Ah sure hope so....." Applejack said.

"Hahaha! Oh yeah! It's definitely over! I mean look at him!" Rainbow Dash said with a smile.

But just like before, his seperated body parts, organs and blood started dragging themselves together and as Nocturne's flesh started taking the shape and form of a pony again the others were drowned in fear once again.

"Now....that was something....."

Nocturne said as he stood there. His armor, bandages and the red cloth around his head were destroyed but his mask was still there, without a scratch on it. His body however was as they expected it to be, all around it there were these huge bumps with torn up skin that some of them even reached his bones with blood coming out of each and every one of them.

"Alright Celestia i am gonna be honest with you.....that was painful, yes it was but as i said before i have to time to suffer.....i don't have it! And i am going to show you what i mean by suffer!"

He then stood up in two hooves and turned his front hooves into claws.

"Now watch closely everypony.....you are about to witness what a stallion is willing to do to follow his ambitions!"

He then placed his claws around his mask and he started violently pulling it out.

"YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE JUST HOW MUCH GREATER I AM THAN YOU ALL!"

And after a few tries, he was able to remove the mask of his face but his skin was still attached to it and as he pulled back the mask, he also pulled out the very skin on his face.

He then dropped the mask down, he stomped on it and the mask melted into his body.

Celestia and the others gasped when they saw what was hiding under that mask.

"By all that is holy! This....this can't be! How can you live like this!" Celestia asked and the others around couldn't agree more.

Nocturne's face was more disoriented than they had expected. His one eye was covered by a gaint bump that was leaking so much blood that it would drip down on the ground like a waterfall. His other eye had multiple bumps around it and from them too, blood was dripping down.

Nocturne laughed at their weakness and disgust and said.

"This is nothing! Even though i have lost my sight! I can still go on!"

"You....you are blind?"

"Of course i am! And in this current condition, not even the sun can pierce through these masses of plagued flesh! But as you can hehe....SEE! I can go on no matter what!"

Just then however, his body started emitting.....Light.

"Because i have but one thing in mind! Defeat Phobetor along with the Eldritch Gods and bring peace to Creation! Once and for all!"

There was then an explosion of Light that blinded everypony around and when it cleared out they saw him again and the Broken Sword that Celestia had taken from Nocturne was gone.

"Nocturne.....is that....." Sessuena started.

"It can't be...." Crossbleser also said.

Nocturne was not a creature of darkness anymore! His dark skin had now changed into white like Celestia's. His red batwings had become golden, his dark armor had also become golden and was decorated with a blue shourd around his shoulder and waist. On top of that Nocturne also had a long white horn on his head and his twin blades were now replaced with two twin long golden swords with blue hilts.

"I am once again casting away the darkness within me and i become one with the Light! But this time i plan on surrendering myself to it, rather than return to my past self!"

He then without hesitation, flew with so much speed towards Celestia and started unleashing blow after blow with his twin golden swords and Celestia did her best to block his quick attacks but it proved impossible, his speed was greater than hers, she couldn't keep up with him. His swords would pass through her defenses and as a result, small multiple cuts would appear around her body.

"There! There is still Light within you?" Celestia asked as she backed away from his attacks.

"There always was! Because i chose to defend Creation! Because i chose to put my faith above all else! That is why i am like this!"

Nocturne then prepared another attack but just his sword was about to come in contact with Celestia, he used his magic and teleported behind her. Realising what Nocturne just did, Celestia quickly turned around to face him but just when she did, she saw Nocturne coming towards her with a golden lantern in hoof that its flame was pure blue.

"Taste the power of the Lantern Of Revelations! This Holy Artifact will allow me to see the weakness in your body! In your armor! Every little detail about everything!"

And then with a swift strike, he swinged his twin blades across Celestia's shoulder armor and it instantly broke and blood was blown out of it.

"I can see it all sister! Every tiny little crack in your armor and even where your body is weakened the most! I know where to strike! And i know that i will kill you!"

Nocturne then dashed next to her and sliced off another piece of her armor that was protecting the left side of her chest and along with it blood started coming out as well.

"It is only a matter of time until you die Celestia! But if you stay still i can make it painless!"

Nocturne then prepared another attack but it was cut short because this time Celestia attacked him first but Nocturne was able to dodge the attack and he flew up in the air.

"Celestia....." She heard the same dark voice in her head again.

"What is it?"

"I am here to tell you that there is a way to defeat Nocturne."

"But how? He is so fast and strong! I can't keep up with him or even land a single blow."

"Well, lucky for you with a sword as powerful as yours you will only need one hit!"

"What? What are you saying? Why would i need one hit now when the previous times he would just take the hit and still stand?"

"Because Nocturne gave up on the Darkness that hides within him."

"How does that help me?"

"It's simply. Nocturne's invulnerability and unnatural might come from his dark magics but now that he has gave them up, his flesh is as weak as yours and you will be able to make him bleed!"

"I see, so then i will just have to find the perfect opportunity and then strike?"

"Yes that's it and that opportunity is really close to you so i suggest you make a move!"

Celestia then looked up in the sky and she saw Nocturne coming straight down on her.

"This is your end!"

When he said that, Nocturne started spinning around in mid air as he was coming down with so much speed that he had turned into a tornado of blades.

"Find the opening Celestia! Cut him down!"

Celestia paid close attention to Nocturne as he was coming down and she found what she was looking for!

"That's it! Now it is my perfect chance to attack! If he stays still and attacks me like this i will get that one hit kill that the....Voice told me about!"

Celestia took a deep breath and waited for Nocturne to get in range and just when he was, she swinged her blade right in front of her downwards and later kept her head down just in case she would miss the attack.

But she didn't miss, instead her hit was accurate and Nocturne fell down on the groud with some of his armor destroyed.

"Yes! I did it! But i musn't let my guard down! I must push on!"

Celestia then rushed to him with her sword and was about to begin her attack when Nocturne pulled the Lantern Of Revelations. The fire within the lantern started growing stronger and stronger to the point where Celestia couldn't look at him anymore and turned her back to him however, she had a plan prepared.

"Now! DIE!"

Nocturne said and lunged himself with both is blades ready.

Celestia then slimed and said as she charged her horn.

"No you...."

She then used her magic and teleported on top of Nocturne with her blade's edge ready to strike him down. Seeing that, Nocturne pulled out the Lantern Of Revelations and tried to use its powers to force Celestia away but the Holy Light that was being radiated did not have an effect on her and as a result, her sword pierced through the lantern and the sword stuck in between the lantern's broken form.

When the Lantern broke right before their eyes, the two ponies gasped.

"What the! What did you just do you whor----"

Nocturne stopped before he could finish the sentence.

"You! You put it in the way! It's your fault that this Holy Relic has been shattered!"

"YOU DARE ACCUSE ME OF SUCH A THING? I WHO ONCE AGAIN HAVE RISED ABOVE SIN! I WHO HAVE PUNISHED ALL THOSE THAT WANTED TO ERADICATE THE LIGHT AND KILL US ALL?! YOU TALK NONSENSE! AND FOR THAT I WILL PUNISH YOU TOO!"

Nocturne then kicked her away, put his away his twin golden swords and then pulled out a flail. The flail was made out of iron rod, at the end of the rod three long chains were visible and at their end there were small iron spiked balls on each chain. The spiked iron balls were dripping blood from them as if they were recently used.

"I WILL TEACH YOU UNIMAGINABLE PAIN CELESTIA! YOU HEAR ME! I WILL RIP OUT YOUR SKIN AND LEAVE YOU DOWN ON THE GROUND TILL YOU DIE! NO! I WILL JUST KEEP SMACKING YOU! AND SMACKING YOU TILL YOU CRY AND BEG FOR YOUR MISERABLE AND VULGAR LIFE!"

Fear quickly took control of Celestia's mind, seeing Nocturne closing in on her with a flail ready to annihilate her made her cowerd in fear.

"No...stay back!" Celestia said and aimed her sword at her.

She then flew back away from him and just when she landed on the ground, she used her magic and picked up a big stone piece from the edge of the tower and threw it at him. But just when she did, Nocturne punched the stone and it immediately was split in two.

"TRY ALL YOU WANT SINNER! BUT YOU WON'T ESCAPE MY JUDGMENT!"

Celestia who was still devoured by doubt and fear quickly took another piece from the edge of the tower but this time bigger and used her magic to throw it towards Nocturne.

"You won't get close to me! I won't let you! I WONT!"

He however just lunged his head forward and the stone piece was shattered into six pieces.

"THROW ME ANOTHER ONE YOU MISCREANT! IT WILL ONLY MAKE IT MORE EXCITING FOR ME!"

This time though, Celestia charged her horn and released a never ending beam of light that kept on hiting Nocturne. He however didn't seem to be affected by it all, he just kept on walking straight to her from where the beam was coming.

Celestia didn't back down either, not out of courage or virtue no, out of fear! She knew that if she were to stop now Nocturne would get the jump on her. She had to give it her all to keep him away from her but it was all in vain.

When Nocturne got close to her, he swinged his mighty flail across her face and Celestia was thrown back a little and the beam light was stopped. When she lifted her head however, it was covered in giant cuts that forced her to scream out of pain and drop her sword to the ground.

"Yes! Cry out in pain! Let me hear every sound you make no matter how small or insignificant may be! I want to hear it all! I WANT TO HEAR YOU BEGGING FOR YOUR LIFE AS I TAKE IT AWAY!"

He then quickly swinged his flail across her leg and she fell down on the ground in pain and Nocturne kept on laughing. But it was then that he noticed that one of the chained balls that he had struck Celestia was still stuck to her leg. He formed a grin on his face and pulled with so much force that a giant piece of her skin was stuck into the spiked ball and she just kept on screaming out of the unimaginable pain to the point where she started to cry as well.

Celestia couldn't take it anymore, she wanted to escape and she was about to do just that. She extended her wings and began flying away but she didn't got far. One of the chains from Nocturne's flail was thrown, it wrapped around her neck and he began pulling her down to the ground.

"YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!"

And just when she was close to him, Nocturne punched her to the ground, he stood up in two and placed his left back hoof on her.

"You will die! PAINFULLY!"

Then, the other chains from the flail were wrapped around her front hooves and Nocturne pushed her head down while pullling back the flail that was wrapped around her neck and front hooves.

"AND NOW! YOU WILL ALL WATCH AS I COMPLETLY DESTROY HER!"

Nocturne then started pulling the flail back harder and Celestia would cry out in pain as her neck and front hooves were slowly torn appart.

Celestia just kept screaming and screaming out in pain with tears running down, her life was slowly dripping away and only one thing could save her. That Dark Voice in her head, she was sure that it was thanks to it that she was able to survive thus far and she wanted it to help her again and again till she would win the fight against Nocturne something that on its own proved difficult beyond comprehension.

But just then, she heard the Dark Voice in her head.

"I told you Celestia, i won't let you die! I will never abandon you!"

When she heard those words, a surge of power started coursing through her veins. Her eyes started gloing gold and with a powerful roar, she got up and pulled the chains with so much force that they shattered into tiny pieces. She quickly picked up her fallen sword with her magic and flew towards Nocturne.

"By the Light!" Nocturne said and tried to pull out his twin blades.

He failed however and Celestia came charging down on him with her gigantic blade across his chest. When she did that, a loud crack was heard and Nocturne was sent flying back as his golden armor was destroyed and pieces were scattered on the ground.

"It's not over yet! It never will be! As long as i draw breath, Creation will be safe and i intended to keep it that way!"

Before he could say anything else however Celestia flew towards him and prepared another attack but just when she was about to hit him, he pulled out a long spear. The blade of the spear was golden and it's hilt was made out of wood and when it came in contact with Celestia's sword a very loud ding was heard and everypony around along with Celestia were forced to cover their ears.

"What just happened! What is that!" Twilight shouted.

"Oh no.....it can't be!" Starswirl said as he looked at Nocturne.

"Starswirl! What is it? What is that spear?"

"It's not just any spear Twilight Sparkle." Crossbleser said and caught her attention.

Nocturne then stomped the spear to the ground and the lound ding was heard again.

"Behold! The Spear that i hold is none other than the Spear Of Destiny itself! The same spear that was used to stab the Messiah himself years ago!"

He then picked it up from the ground and pointed it at Celestia.

"It will be a shame to shed your disgusting corrupted blood on top of his!"

"You are even willing to use the Spear Of Destiny too? Do you even have any dignity left in you Nocturne? Or are you just blindly following your ambitions and casting aside anything else irrelevant?"

"I am just doing what must be done! Because only i have what it takes, only i have the resolve and the will to sacrifice anything to achieve ultimate victory! You should know that better than anypony sister!"

"B-but i...."

"SILENCE!"

He then immediately jumped high up into the sky and prepared a powerful strike with the Spear. Celestia however mananged to dodge the attack but Nocturne wasn't done yet. The moment he landed to the ground he spined around with his Spear and he managed to injure Celestia's left cheek.

"Dear sister, i truly expected you to surrender the moment i pulled out the Spear, i mean you do know what they say, he who holds the Holy Lance holds their Destiny in their hooves! And right now i am about to futhfill my Destiny and bring Peace to Creation!"

She however just swinged her sword across his neck but he put the edge of the spear in front of him and pushed her sword down on the ground.

"You sly dog! You got me monologuing! Now get a load of this!"

And to her surprise. Nocturne lunged his horn forward towards her direction and tried to stab her with it, something that he succeeded but not entirely.

His horn was able to get inside her mouth and come out from her left cheek something that left Celestia and those around her paralyzed. He then pulled his horn out which was covered in dripping blood and punched her right in her mouth, something that caused her to cry out in pain as one of her tooth came out from the hole on her cheek that Nocturne's horn created.

"NOW DIE! CELESTIA!"

Nocturne shouted with his voice boming across the tower and drove the Holy Lance into Celestia's chest.

"SISTER!" A tall Alicorn Stallion shouted from the platform.

The Holy Lance had pierced Celestia's chest and her remaining armor started slowly fall appart to the point where only a few chunks of iron were left to protect her fragile body from The Nightmare Stallion's vicious attacks.

She started taking deep breaths, her eyes started tearing up and blood was coming out of her chest wound where the spear was and in front of her was the pony that she once thought was a part of her family, her brother, her friend.

"The Spear Of Destiny huh? Hahahaha, at last he used it." The dark Voice was once again heard in her mind.

"But don't worry, with my powers any item made by mortal tools can be shattered! Even one which was bathed in Holy Power! Now! Let me take away your pain Celestia! Show him the power of YOUR resolve!"

Hearing those words, Celestia felt the pain that was tormenting her disappearing and looked directly at Nocturne's eyes with determination. She charged her horn with magic and unleashed it against Nocturne.

"USELESS!" He shouted.

For a moment, Nocturne was distracted by Celestia's magical attack. That moment was all it took, Celestia was able to swing her sword and cut in half the Holy Lance that Nocturne was carrying and send it flying.

"YOU! CELESTIA!"

He shouted, pulled out his twin swords and attacked Celestia with them.

"I'll never again...." Celestia said and swinged her sword across his and made the two of them to blow up into in a tiny explosion of light.

"HOW IN CREATOR'S NAME!" Nocturne stepped back in surprise at the destruction of his swords.

"SHOW MERCY TO YOU NOCTURNE!"

And just like that, she unleashed several powerful sword attacks against Nocturne and causing whatever was left from his armor to shatter and along with that, she managed to creat big wounds on the naked parts of his body and he started bleeding.

"The Light! How?!" Nocturne thought to himself.

He then turned his head around and saw it there in the middle of the tower. It was the pointy edge of the spear, stuck in the ground and pointed up in the air and that.....gave him a sinister idea.

Celestia lifted up her sword and and started dropping its masive blade towards Nocturne and just when the blade was about to touch him, strong golden strings came out of his wrists and were wrapped around Celestia's hooves and wings, he then dashed behind her and kicked her above the pointy blade and to the other side.

Celestia look up and realised what Nocturne was planning.

"Oh no!" She said that and tryied to take flight but she was stopped by the golden strings who were now attached to the ground bellow her.

"Now sister, prepare to pay for all of your sins!"

And he started pulling Celestia towards the edge of the Spear that was on the ground pointed at the sky.

"Give me power O Creator! So that i may punish those that seek only the destruction of your Holy Creations!"

His horn then started glowing and with each swing of it, small cuts would appear on Celestia's body. With each strike that Celestia would suffer, she was forced closer and closer into the edge of the Spear, Nocturne just needed one last powerful pull and she would fall down face to face with the edge of the Spear and it would mean her true end.

Celestia was panicked, she tried to pull back but her strength was not enough and fear took over her once again.

"To your left...." The Dark Voice said.

She suddenly looked to her left and there it was, her sword was on the ground, waiting to be used again, waiting for the moment Celestia would pick it up and kill Nocturne, if that was even possible.

Celestia focused on her horn and later the sword, she used her magic to pick it up and the moment she did, she threw it towards Nocturne. The sword then spinned around him and cut out his wings along with his horn.

When that happened, Nocturne let out a powerful scream as blood started coming out from his shattered horn and his cut out wings.

And with that, Celestia was able to overpower Nocturne and pull him towards the edge of the Holy Lance and as a result, the Spear pierced his mouth, came out from the back side of his head and silenced his screams.

There was no more sound after that, just silence from everypony around the tower.

"Is it done? Please tell me it is,i don't want to see my children fight anymore...." Queen Galaxia thought to herself.

But that wasn't the case. Nocturne let out an even more powerful scream that echoed in the air. He placed both of his hooves next to him and pulled himself back to the ground with the Spear still stuck into his mouth.

And once again the ponies around cowered in fear and doubt after seeing Nocturne coming back again and again.

He placed both of his hooves next to the Spear and tried to pull it out from his mouth and after some attempts and blood running from his mouth, he was able to pull it out and hold it on to one of his hooves.

He took a good look at the broken Spear and after that, the edge of the Spear along with what remained from it started glowing and it disappeared.

"My dear sister Celestia....i have realised something...."

"If you are thinking of surrendering, which i HIGHLY doubt then i am gonna say no! You have done so much evil! You have caused so much pain and suffering! You have even reached the point of no redemption!"

Nocturne let out a small laugh and later said.

"Once again sister, it is you who is wrong! And i am going to prove it! As i was saying, i realised something about your sword and that whole resurrection...."

"Just how many more lies will you spout Nocturne? I don't want to listen to you anymore!"

"I understand you Celestia, indeed i have told so many lies and deceived so many! But right now i am telling you the absolute truth! So listen closely!"

Celestia still hadn't changed her mind about this, she knew that whatever Nocturne was gonna say will be a lie.

"I can't trust him! He is at the worst possible position right now, i cut off his wings, horn....his body is a mess, he would say anything to get my attention and later strike me when my guard is down! No doubt about it!" She thought to herself.

"Or maybe he is telling the truth...." The voice said to her.

"And why would he? What is he hoping to achieve?"

"I don't know....but he is probably going to attack you after that big truth is revealed, even so you must hear what he has to say."

"You....you may be right, even if there is a one percent chance of it to be the truth then i will take it!"

Celestia first looked at those around her. When they first came back from her sword she didn't have enough time to comprehend what just happened, she just immediately jumped into the fight against Nocturne but now that she has a moment of clarity she understood that what just happened is not normal.

"Alright Nocturne, i will listen to you!"

"Now that took some time for you to answer! Were you chatting with him maybe?" Nocturne thought to himself.

Nocturne droped a laugh and said.

"Then listen closely! Tell me Celestia, didn't you find it unnatural that they all returned?"

"Why would it be weird? With enough magic anything can happen! Right Twilight?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Well....yes but this is something completly different! I mean, heck i was cut in half if i remember correctly..."

"Yes you were and later Consumed like the rest."

Celestia then answered her brother's question.

"Yes Nocturne, it was very unnatural that they all came back, i didn't expect it to happen....it's not that i am ungrateful but....how? Is it because it is infused with Holy Power? Is this why you are weak against this sword?"

"Wrong again! Both of your statements! There is no such thing as a Ressurection Spell! No matter how powerful one may be! The only one who truly is capable of bringing back the dead is none other than the Creator himself!"

"Then what about your Knight Terrors? Aren't they the ones you killed and brought back to life?"

"No...it doesn't work like that! They are just demonic versions of their past selves that i created through out the Nightmares in my head! I later infuse their Consumed bodies from within me with those Nightmares and i give them form! That's how i create them and they are all bound to my will! But if somehow one of them is brought back to life....well my Knight Terror is gone! I mean why do you think i haven't called them to my aid? You brought them all back remember?"

"Alright....but what about my sword? What's so special about it?"

"Celestia....every time that i would feel the edge of the blade piercing my skin and enter my body, i could tell that what you are carrying is not a Holy Weapon, rather something Darker and sinister! And i dare to say that i....feel something familiar about it.....if only i could touch its hilt....and see for myself just what is sleeping underneath those iron blankets!"

And he started to advance towards her. Seeing that however, Celestia placed her sword in front of him in a threatening way.

"But i see that this is not the case...."

And he backed away.

"Anyway....that is all that i wanted to say....."

Celestia started thinking for a while as she looked at her sword. Maybe he was telling the truth, maybe the sword is not what she thinks it is and what he said previously about Ressurection is as well real, after all she does remember Crossbleser talking about it as well back when she was way younger at home. Or maybe it was all a big lie, architected in Nocturne's twisted mind.

"Just remember this sister.....the dead! Do not! Return! Once you die it is all over! Yet here now we both stand with those that died in the past! So....do you believe me now Celestia?"

It was a lot to take in, Nocturne didn't appear to be lying. However, Celestia knew he was a master manipulator and a great deceiver. At that moment, her mind was having a battle of its own. On one hand, she wanted to believe his tale but on the other she just wanted to strike him down there were he stood and end it all for good!

"What difference does it make though? Let's say that i do believe you! What happens next?" Celestia demanded.

"Nothing at all really, i will just continue fighting until you die and i get the sword! Because right now! The fact that i can't tell if he is helping you or not is proving just how weak i am! But....let's say that i have other plans that will increase my powers after you are all out of the way."

Celestia for a moment started thinking what that Dark Voice in her head was. Was it Phobetor all this time that has kept her alive from Nocturne's savage assaults? How else could she have survived everything that was thrown at her? How could she have survived his frozen time, his powerful punches that can easily turn the bodies of his enemies into a blood of blood surrounded by broken bones and organs?

"Then why did you bother telling me all this?"

"I.....just wanted you to understand one thing sister that is all...."

"What do you mean? Enough with your riddles damm it! Just spit it out!"

And with hatred in his heart, Nocturne replied.

"DON'T YOU GET IT? WE ARE ALL PAWNS OF POWERS WE DON'T UNDERSTAND! AND RIGHT NOW HE HAS FORCED ME TO KILL YOU ALL! TO ACHIEVE POWER ENOUGH TO DESTROY HIM AND ALL THE OTHERS! IF I DON'T KILL YOU! THEN CREATION IS DOOMED!"

His broken bleeding horn then started slowly emitting a small light.

"I WILL NOW USE WHATEVER HOLY POWER IS LEFT WITHIN MY BODY TO DESTROY YOU CELESTIA ONCE AND FOR ALL!"

Then from behind him three small fire pits appeared. And from there three burning pyres with one pony on each one emerged from the ground.

The three ponies were stuck on the burning pyres, wrapped around by spiked chains with all their visible characteristics gone. They were all just there burning eternaly to the point were they were unrecognisable by anypony. And they were just crying and screaming out for help.

"WE ARE INNOCENT! HELP US!"

"PLEASE NO MORE! GET ME OUT OF HERE!"

"AAAAHHHH. MY GOD HELP ME! SAVE ME FROM THIS MAD STALLION! PLEASE!"

The ponies around were shocked, if not terrified by what was in front of them. They didn't expect to see something like that and even the boldest among them cowered in fear as they saw their fellow ponies being burned alive in the pyres.

Nocturne then, focused on whatever little powers he had left and moved the two platforms from behind him and placed them on top of the other two along with all the ponies that were on top of them.

"YOU CRAZY BASTARD! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?" Celestia shouted.

"Oh this? They are all just sinners who commited crimes againt the Light! And i gave them the punishment they deserve! To eternaly burn in these pyres that you see before you! But you don't have to worry about that....i have one for you as well!"

Then from behind the three pyres, a big wooden spiked cross emerged from the ground. Nocturne looked at Celestia with murderous intent, as the flames of the smoldering pyres were dancing behind him.

He then placed his hoof upon one of the smaller pyres that had a pony on it and said.

"Before i place you on the cross i will judge you for all the sins that you have committed! Against the Light and Creation as a whole! You won't escape!"

His hoof was then wrapped around by a small dark cloud and when it disappeared, she saw a dark claw. Nocturne grabbed the burning pyre with his claw and with his strength he lifted it from the ground and placed the burning pyre on his shoulder.

Seeing that horrific sight before her, Celestia was enraged and charged at Nocturne with all she got.

"Even now you still torment those around you! How can you live without regret!"

"Regret is a sin! And i have moved beyond it! The only thing that remains is to think about the greater good!"

"To hell with your delusions! You are not right! And you are NOT above sin!"

Hearing that Nocturne swinged in rage the burning pyre that he was holding towards Celestia but she was able to dodge the attack and get behind him.

She then prepared to lunged her sword forward and stab Nocturne but something grabbed her back hoof and she was forced to stop her attack to see what had grabbed her. She then saw that from the other two pyres, chains came out from the flames and were wrapped around her.

"Don't you see sister? Even the burning pyres desire your death! And i intend to satisfy their needs!"

He then prepared another attack with the pyre but just like before she was able to fly up and dodge due to her superior speed and lighter weapon, unlike Nocturne.

She then wrapped his burning pyre with the chains that were wrapped around her back hoof and forced Nocturne to hold the pyre down on the ground. She then charged her magic and fire a powerful bolt of light towards his face and he let out a small grunt.

"I just hoped that i could do something to save those that are on the pyres, if there was a way....." She thought to herself as she prepared for another attack.

"Sadly, there is no way to save them. They were stuck on the pyres for years, burning and suffering an agonizing pain.....the only thing that you can do for them now is grant them the sweet release of death Celestia, i am sorry...." The dark voice told her in her head.

Celestia then aimed her attacked towards the burning pyre and with a single swing, the pyre was cut in half with its burning pieces flying in the air and as for the pony stuck on the pyre, he let out a final scream before the impact and he later turned into ash.

"No matter!" Nocturne said as he walked next to the next pyre.

"I still have two more chances! Of killing you! And i won't fail!"

He said and picked up the next burning pyre. He also noticed that the pyre's chain was still attached to Celestia's back hoof but when she realised it, it was already too late. Nocturne pulled the burning pyre back and as a result he pulled her towards him and she fell into the ground in front of him.

He lifted up the burning pyre and was ready to drop it down on Celestia's head and crush her completely but she was able to roll out of the way. She then swinged her sword across his leg, cuting it off and she brough Nocturne down on the ground.

She then lunged herself forward with her sword but Nocturne put his pyre in front of him. But that didn't stop Celestia's attack and the sword went through the pony that was stuck on the pyre, it passed through the burning wood and it reached the other side and Celestia was able to gouge out Nocturne's eye with that attack.

He then dropped the pyre out in pain but that didn't stop him, he went to pick it up again but Celestia swinged her sword across the pyre and it was cut in half.

"Just one more!"

He said as he picked up the final pyre.

"I will not die! I will not let Creation die! But if i fail! Everything that i have done! All of it, will be for nothing!" He thought to hinself.

As he had the pyre on the ground, he quickly cut off a few pieces from it and threw the burning pieces right on Celestia's face and that forced her to grunt in pain and blink her eyes several times.

"Now is my chance!" He thought to himself and began swinging the pyre.

He then struck Celestia's side with the burning pyre and the pony that was stuck on it let out even louder cries.

"PLEASE! DO SOMETHING! SAVE ME PLEASE! OH GOD!" And he kept crying.

"You deserve no mercy for what you have done! Not from me! Not from her! Or the Creator!" Nocturne told the helpless stalion.

Celestia watched as her brother talked down on that pony and she said as she got up.

"And you are in no position to judge us either! Do you even remember what we were taught Nocturne?! The weapons of the Light are the Prayer, Confession, Peace, Acceptance and Tolerance! Yet you do the exact opposite! You forced thousands of ponies into our Religion and slaughtered those that denied you! I said it before Nocturne and i will say it again! You are not right! And you are NOT above sin!"

In rage Nocturne shouted and swinged his pyre.

"WHY YOU!"

Celestia however cut it in half as it came falling down on her and grabbed the chains that were wrapped around the decaying corpse of the stallion.

"And thus!"

She said and flew above Nocturne. As she was above him she wrapped the chains that she was holding with her magic, landed behind him.

"I send you to your eternal resting place!"

And threw him to the big wooden Spiked Cross and when he reached it, the spike had pierced his back, blood started coming out and the chains wrapped around his body on the cross. And he just stood there, with both hooves on each side of the cross, looking at Celestia. The crowd let out a gasp at that sight, Nocturne was crucified but he was still alive, even at that moment.

Her sword then immediately started emitting powerful flames around it, as if it was giving her a sign on what to do next.

"I can't believe it.....why must i fail! How is it possible for me to fail! The Light was with me! Why! WHY!" He shouted.

"It is over Nocturne! Even the Light abandoned you and to tell you the truth. I expected it to! You have done so much evil but you were always hiding behind pitiful exuses just to save your skin!"

"That's not true! I-i was only!"

"No Nocturne! You were not! You were and you always will be evil! Carrying only for yourself and what benefits you the most! And right now it benefits you a lot to take my power, doesn't it?"

Just when she said that, Nocturne started screaming out in pain and his slowly started transforming. His golden skin was slowly turning back to its original colour along with his wings. Then, a big sphere of Light appeared above him and later disappeared.

"Don't you see? You are back to being what you always were! A being made out of darkness and nothing more! Not even one of us! A pony!"

Those words really touched Nocturne, all these years of praise and a good relationship with her, all of now gone.

"Celestia...." He said calmly and a tiny tear fell from his eye.

Then, rage took over him, he wanted to kill her for what she just said. She just couldn't understand anything, anything at all.

"Don't pretend like you know me! You don't know me at all!"

He then started struggling and he started pulling himself forward but it was in vein, he couldn't move.

"BECAUSE DEEP INSIDE I HOLD HORRORS NONE OF YOU COULD UNDERSTAND! AND I HAVE HOLDED THEM FOR SO LONG BUT THEY WON'T SHUT UP! THEY JUST KEEP SCREAMING! THEY WANT TO COME OUT SO BADLY BUT I HOLDED THEM WITHIN ME TO PROTECT MY FAMILY! TO PROTECT YOU!"

"Liar!" She said hastly.

Nocturne gasped at her reaction. That feeling of not being believed, it was so hard on him, it always was. Being rejected without a second chance, that was what he hated the most.

"I SWEAR TO GOD I AM TELLING THE TRUTH! AND I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING TO KEEP THEM LOCKED! BUT NOPONY UNDERSTOOD WHAT I WAS GOING THROUGH! THE FACT THAT I HAD TO HEAR THEM CRYING OUT EVERY NIGHT! AND SOMETIMES DURING THE DAY! IT WAS HORRIBLE! IT WAS PAINFUL! I EVEN HEAR THEM NOW! SCREAMING NON STOP! AND THEY WANT TO COME OUT! BUT I WILL NOT GRANT THEM THAT OPPORTUNITY! NEVER!"

"I don't believe you! I will never again believe in any of your lies! You hear me Nocturne? Never!"

She then lifted up her flaming sword in the air and said.

"It's just as you said Nocturne, there is no other way! And now, nothing will stop me from doing this!"

Nocturne lowerd his head down and said.

"Do what you must then, i have no regrets, i just wanted to save Creation, i wanted to save those that live outside of our world, because unlike us, they are weaker yet they too have friends, family, loved ones.....i knew that if i could save them, i would redem myself for all of my failures.....because i have failed to save....so many....because i was weak but now.....i have failed again....."

Celestia was slightly touched by his words, she looked back and started searching the platforms for her mother, she wanted to see her and after some scanning, she found her.

Queen Galaxia was looking at her daughter crying, all this violence between her children was too much to bare. Celestia could see it in her face, she wanted her not to do it, to drop her sword down and not kill Nocturne. And at that moment she thought of doing just that.

"What's the matter Celestia? You won't do it?" The dark voice spoke once again.

"Just who are you anyways?" She asked him.

"Why are you asking that? I told you, i am someone who wants to help you...."

"I can hardly believe that...."

"Oh really? Then tell me Celestia who was it that allowed you to move during his stopped time? To survive those savage attacks that can turn your body into a pool of blood? It was i Celestia and i will keep protecting you!"

"If that's the case then tell me, why do you want me to light Nocturne on fire? Isn't defeated?"

"No, he is not. What he said about harboring those horrors within was true and if he remains alive, they will too!"

"But if he dies, doesn't that mean that they will be released?"

"Yes they will, if i don't intervene that is."

"I see...."

"Do what you must Celestia, i beg you. It is the only way....."

Celestia started thinking again. The voice was indeed helping her, she could see it now. There was no doubt about it and if what Nocturne said was true, then she had to kill him and let the voice within her head to do the rest.

Celestia looked at Nocturne with a determined face and said as she lifted her sword up in the air.

"Any last words Nocturne?"

Nocturne looked at her with dissapointment and said.

"We are all pawns Celestia.....the dead, do not return and i will not accept them as the ones that died years ago, those that i cared about are dead and will remain that way...."

With those words of his, Celestia started hesitating her decision even more.

"Don't let him take control of you again Celestia! As he always did all these years! Strike him down now! And let Peace be restored!" The voice said.

With tears running down her eyes, Celestia swinged her sword and the cross started burning slowly along with Nocturne.

Nocturne at first didn't react at all, he just kept his head down and waited. But after a few seconds, he started breathing heavily as if he was trying to withstand the pain. Then those heavy breaths turned into grunts and later screams.

"IT HURTS! IT HURTS SO MUCH!" He said as tears started running down his eyes.

"CELESTIA! PLEASE! STOP IT! I CAN'T TAKE IT!"

But she just looked away and just kept hearing his screams of pain.

"CELESTIA! DON'T ABANDON ME! I BEG YOU!"

She then dropped the sword on the ground and covered her eyes while crying.

"RELEASE ME FROM THIS INFERNAL PUNISHMENT! MY GOD PLEASE!"

He then started chanting some sacred words as he kept crying and burning.

"SO DO NOT FEAR, FOR I AM WITH YOU! DO NOT BE DISMAYED FOR I AM YOUR GOD! I WILL STRENGTHEN YOU AND HELP YOU! I WILL UPHOLD YOU WITH MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND! DO NOT FORSAKE WISDOM AND SHE WILL PROTECT YOU! LOVE HER AND SHE WILL WATCH OVER YOU! HAVE MERCY ON ME MY GOD! HAVE MERCY ON ME FOR IN YOU I TAKE REFUGE! I WILL TAKE REFUGE IN THE SHADOW OF YOUR WINGS UNTIL THE DISASTER HAS PASSED AND FOREVER BE MY FORTRESS O GOD AGAINST THOSE WHO ATTACK ME!"

The cross then started burning ever greater and Nocturne kept screaming in agony as the others were left in shock as they watched his flesh burning and his eyes slowly melting.

The cross was burned so much that it couldn't hold Nocturne's weight and it crumbled down on the firey ground along with him.

Queen Galaxia, turned her head away and started crying on her husbands shoulder. And Celestia fell down on the ground crying too.

"What have i done? MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE! BROTHER!" She shouted.

Nothing was heard after that, what just happened was so shocking that everypony were left speechless and most even trembling in fear.

That wasn't the end however, from the fires they saw a pony rising up and he started walking towards Celestia.

"Oh my God....." Queen Galaxia said as she looked at the pony who was closing in.

Then, the pony revealed to himself to those around him!

It was Nocturne! But he had changed. His whole body was now a mix between orange and dark, he was covered in flames with red eyes and chains wrapped around his hooves and neck. On top of that, he was completly naked and from his chained hooves, twin black crescent blades appeared similar to his red ones but different colour.

"Nocturne! You....you are alive! AGAIN!" Celestia asked surprised.

"My death will never come again Celestia! I swear it! But now.....the Light has forsaken me and i know why....."

"Brother......"

"I still harbor many powers within me! I have used both the Light and the Magic of this world! But now.....i will use the Powers Of The Old Gods and the very flames that burn eternaly down in the pits of Hell! And through these fires my sins will be purged!"

"Why the change of heart! I thought that you had given up!"

"I will NEVER give up Celestia! It is my Destiny to face them! Because i have expirienced the Madness! The Cosmic Horrors that hide in the Abosolute Nothingness! You however have not! And none of you can withstand their Madness! Only i can harbor such powers and i will use them for the greater good!"

He then assumed a battle position and said to Celestia.

"And now without any more delay! You will experience the Powers of Hell itself!"
