"How did you do that?" Nocturne asked "Only the Eldric Beings can cast such spells without losing their minds!"

"That is beacuse we are no longer what we used to be." Galaxia said.

"Now we are but shadows of our former selves and you Nocturne are going to change that." Cosmos said.

"After you 'defeated' Phobetor he hid and waited for the right moment to strike. After he took control of your father and you turned on us all was over, you were banished away and your sisters had to leave for Equestria to save it from Discord." Crossbleser said.

"But it wasn't enough for him! He knew that you returned to our world and thus he broughts us back to watch you and when it was time that you would attack we would be there to stop you." Starswirl said.

"S-stop me? I don't understand.....No! You are all lying to me! I know it!"

"We are not, my son it is the truth! But you can change everything! Consume us Nocturne! Free us from him! Take your weapons and combine your powers with your Sisters and the Princesses! Only then you will be able to truly defeat Phobetor!" Cosmos said.

Nocturne stood there in silence for a few seconds. Looking down he started remembering moments of him and all of his sibilings working together, having fun and living together as a true family. And then he remembered when he first learned about Phobetor. But it was him that defeated him, it was him that accomplished so much and it was him who had grown so powerful, nopony else had achieved what he had done.

"If what you all are saying is true......then i WILL hunt him down.....i will kill Phobetor and I alone will bring peace."

"Thank you for understanding Nocturne, but now you must consume us, we have no place in this world as....this." Galaxia said.

"I know, now the four of you close your eyes. It will only hurt for a second."

The four ponies then closed their eyes, Nocturne stood in two hooves, tendrils came out from his hooves and stuck them all.

They all released a grunt as the tendrils pierced their flesh and then he pulled, what caused them all to melt and their bodies were magnetized to Nocturne.

When that happened Nocturne fell down on the ground grunting in pain. He could see all their memories and he saw Phobetor there laughing. He then finaly knew that he was alive.

"It is....true then......" Nocturne said as he stood up.

Then with a gesture the gate that was blocking the entrance to his weapons was crushed. He slowly made his way into the room, used his magic to Bound the weapons to him and then he disappeared along with them, leaving behind him the library.

In the Crystal Empire.

The four princesses were at the throne room talking about what just happened and what they must do next, then the door opened and from there Starlight Glimmer and Shining armor showed up.

"Shining! Oh my gods i am glad you are ok." Cadence said as she hugged him.

"Yeah, i am ok, don't worry about a thing."

"I am glad that you are safe too brother." Twilight said as she hugged him too.

Twilight then run to Starlight and with a hug she said.

"Starlight, i am sorry this happened to you. It was my fault, if we had worked something earlier you wouldn't...."

"No need to apologize Twilight, i know you did your best. And it never was your fault so please, don't blame yourself for something that you never knew was gonna happen."

The two ended their hug and they continued talking

"So, where have you all been?" Shining armor asked.

"Well, after you too were taken to the hospital for treatment, we followed Crossbleser to his library to get our weapons, however Nocturne caught up to us, if it wasn't for Crossbleser's sacrifice along with Starswirl and Queen Galaxia and Cosmos then we wouldn't be alive right now." Cadence said.

"Wait, you met Starswirl?" Starlight asked.

"And who are Queen Galaxia and King Cosmos?" Shining armor asked.

"They are-were, Celestia and Luna's parents. They somehow were brought back to life and they helped us to get the weapons that we now hold." Twilight asked.

"I...i see and what about the two of them right now?" Shining asked referring to Celestia and Luna.

"They are both devastated, losing their parents again must be very hard." Cadence said.

"No surprise there, i can't imagne how i would feel if a family member of mine died." Twilight said.

It was true Celestia and Luna were both sitting idle looking out the window and watching their reflections on their blades.

"Mother....how will i continue, how can i get back on my hooves after what just happened, the burden of loosing you all again. And to later kill my only remaining brother , if he deceids to go against us again." Celestia said in her mind.

"Father, i can not believe that something like this has happened again. When i saw you and mother alive again i thought that we were going to be together again. To combat evil and bring peace to our world, but now you have left me and Celestia alone again." Luna said in her mind.

"We better not disturb them then." Starlight said.

"Yes, it's probably for the best and the only thing we can do right now." Princess Cadence said.

Twilight then looked on the hilt that Starswirl gave her. She then remembered what he said to her.

"The bonds that you have created with your friends, they must be fordged, into this sword. You must take them with you to the Tree Of Harmony, only there the sword will be made."

With this in mind Twilight said.

"I better get going then."

"Twilly were are you going? You just got here." Shining armor said.

"I know, but this sword won't be made on it's own." She said as she left the room.

Outside of the throne room Twilights' friends were waiting along with spike.

"Twilight!" They all exclaimed and hugged her.

Twilight laughed and said.

"Hey guys."

"We are so glad you are back sugar cube." Applejack said.

"Twilight! Oh i am so glad you are safe. I thought that you would be lost forever!" Spike said as he hugged her leg.

"Um...yes we feared the worst." Fluttershy said.

"But it looks like our Twilight returned victorious once again!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Yes it would seem so but i haven't seen Crossbleser anywhere. Twilight do you know what happened to him?" Rarity asked.

"Yes come on! Tell us Twilight! I want to know where he is so that i may give him his surprise cake!" Pinkie Pie said with a smile.

"Girls....listen things did not go as planned. When we reached the library and got our weapons....Nocturne show up and he....he killed him along with the others."

The others gasped at the news and later Applejack asked.

"Wait what 'others'?"

"When we reached the library, we learnt that along with Crossbleser was Starswirl."

"Starswirl? Like our Starswirl? The beared?" Pinkie pie asked.

"Yes, him."

"Wow" Rainbow Dash said.

"Surprisingly enough however, we found Queen Galaxia and King Cosmos. The parents of Celestia and Luna!"

"WHAT!" The others shouted.

"That...oh my." Rarity said.

"That is so cool!" Rainbow Dash.

"But it was thanks to them that we escaped this time, Starswirl opened up a portal that led back here and....he threw us in leaving them behind with Nocturne....you can guess what happened next...." Twilight said with her head down.

"That is terrible!" Fluttershy said.

"But what about those weapons that you got?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Well, here is what i got."

Twilight said and revealed to them the hilt.

"Um...what is that?" Rarity asked.

"Yeah, this isn't some legendary weapon that you were promised." Rainbow Dash said.

"Rainbow Dash is right what are you gonna do with that, smack Nocturne in the head and hope that he surrenders?" Applejack asked.

Pinkie Pie then appeared from above Twilight, took the hilt from her hooves and started looking at it closely.

"Maybe if we throw it at the Tree of Harmony something might happen!" Pinkie pie said with a serious tone.

Twilight then simple took it back with her magic and said.

"Funny you mentioned that Pinkie, Starswirl told me that we have to go to the Tree Of Harmony in order to complete the sword."

"So it's a sword now?" Rainbow Dash asked sarcastically.

"Oh it will be. And when it does we can put it's powers to the test." Twilight said.

"Then what are we waiting for, let's get going!" Applejack said.

"Alright, just give me a second to get ready!" Spike said.

"I am sorry Spike, but you can't come with us." Twilight said.

"What? Why not?" He asked.

"There is a very high chance that Nocturne will be after us, now that he knows about these weapons i doubt that he will back down the next time he sees us. And i don't want you to get hurt, or worse to die. Please try to understand."

"Ok...." Spike said with his head down and returned to his room.

The mane six then without hesitation marched to the Everfree Forest, passing through the lands that they once knew but now they are twisted and corrupted. Even though they traveled a lot, they never really encountered any Knight Terrors or any other Nightmare in their path. However from Canterlot, Nocturne was watching them. Their every move, the every thought that run through their minds. He knew exactly where they were going.

He stood up from his throne and looked outside the window. And just like Celestia and Luna he too was thinking, thinking about what he must do. Must he join forces with his sisters? Or must him remain on his own.

"Nocturne......" A voice was heard into the air.

"Phobetor......" Nocturne replied.

Then from the corner a humanoid shadow appeared with no features at all.

"You finaly realized that you are still not in control. Truth to be told i expected you to find out sooner and on your own." Phobetor said.

"I care not about what you think, but know this, this time i WILL kill you! And that you will pay for all the things that you have done! Corrupting the family that took care of me and because of you, i was the one that destroyed it!"

"So you do care about them. Don't you Nocturne? Tell me however what happened to all those emotions of hatered and rage towards them, what caused you to change your mind about them?"

"I....i do not know.....it just that i feel a small flame in my heart, but it is not hurting me, it is warming me and it keeps me sane."

"Does it now? And what about the Old Gods Nocturne? The powers that you got through all your journeys? Do they all mean nothing to you?"

"They mean everything to me! And when Yog-Sothoth told me about you, i knew just how i could use my powers for a good cause this time! And when i killed you, it was the happiest moment of my life! To finaly be free! But no....you just had to survive and keep toying with me! So how about you and i return to the Absolute Nothingness? Fight me there so we can end it all! Show me your true form!"

Phobetor then just laughed.

"This form that i have right now is one of the few that won't cause the one to gaze upon me to go insane....but you, you are different than all of them! Your flesh, your bones! The who you are, you were always stronger than them! You do not need them to defeat me!"

"I WILL BE THE JUDGE OF THAT! These weapons that they got are strong enough to truly kill the both of us! I don't see why i shouldn't join them and finaly end you!"

"Just like the old times when you and your sibilings were fighting evil? To protect your world?"

"Yes, but this time, it will be the end game! And when you finaly die Phobetor, only then i will truly feel joy again! And my family will be one again!"

"We shall see." Phobetor said and he disappeared.

Nocturne then in rage hit the ground causing it to crack.

"Yes! We shall."

The mane six after hours of walking through out Equestria, had finaly made it to the Everfree Forest. Time however was not on their side, the night was coming and they had to get to the Cave of Harmony and complete the sword.

"Come on everypony we are close!" Twilight said.

"I just hope that we won't meet Nocturne here." Fluttershy said.

"Well, not to sound negative but now that we are here all alone, it will be the perfect time for him to attack." Applejack said.

"But we will be ready for him! And when we complete your blade Twilight nothing will stand in our way." Rainbow Dash said.

"Speaking of Nocturne, tell me girls did he....happened to visit your dreams the night we stayed in canterlot?" Rarity asked.

"N-no...but if he were too then i would surley kick him out..." Rainbow Dash said with an awkward smile.

"Well, he did visit me! But he immediately left without saying a word. I don't know, maybe he didn't like the cake i gave him?" Pinkie Pie said with a sad tone.

While the others were talking about their Nightmares, Twilight kept thinking about her own encounter with Nocturne. In the end of her Nightmare she left like really dying. She feared that if something like that were to happen to her or her friends, that she would lose her mind.

From the shadows unseen there was Nocturne looking at them closely, listening to what they were saying and listening to their thoughts.

The mane six had finaly arrived to the Cave Of Harmony. They got inside and they saw the Tree Of Harmony.

"Finaly, we are here." Rainbow Dash said.

"It was a long and dirty road, i hope that it was worth it." Rarity said.

"Don't get carried away everypony, we are here for only one thing. The completion of this blade." Twilight said.

She then pulled out the hilt and presented it before the Tree Of Harmony.

"So....is there anything gonna happen now?" Applejack said.

"Well....the Tree isn't responding at all.....maybe we can try......"

"NOPE!" Pinkie Pie then grabbed the hilt and threw it at the Tree with all her force.

The others gasped and then looked at Pinkie Pie with their angry faces.

"Pinkamena Diane Pie! That wasn't necessary!" Rarity said.

But Pinkie's gaze was locked on the Tree Of Harmony that appeared to be glowing.

"Wow, EVERYPONY LOOK!" Pinkie Pie shouted.

They all turned around to see the Tree glowing white light. Then from the Tree magical runes appeared to the ground that led to each one of the mane six. All of them with their signature colors.

"Everypony something is happening. Be prepared!" Twilight said.

Twilight then found the hilt of the sword right in front of the Tree and just like it, it was glowing white light. Twilight picked it up with her magic and pointed it at the center of the Tree, that caused the hilt to release a magic beam that when it hit the Tree the runes took shape, wrapped around Twilights' friends and pulled them towards the Tree, something that caused them to disappear.

"GIRLS!" Twilight shouted.

She tried to move but she couldn't, soon the Light got stronger and in the blink of an eye the Tree Of Harmony was gone.

"THE TREE! MY FRIENDS!" Oh no oh no oh no! But! What?HOW?"

Twilight then looked over to the hilt to find only a beutiful golden sword. It's guard sides were decorated with tiny gems. On the right side of the guard the gems were Purple, Pink and Red. On the other side of the guard the gems were Orange, Blue and Fuchsia. The blade itself however, from the bottom to all the way up had the gems of the elements of harmony. Twilight's gem was first, it was inbetween the guards, next one was Fluttershy's, Applejack's, Rarity's, Pinkie Pie's and finaly Rainbow's.

"Wow....." She said.

"Well done Twillight!" Twilight immediately recognized the voice and turned around to face Nocturne.

"You....." She backed away as she said that.

"That's not fear i smell is it?"

"Stay back!" She said as she pointed her sword at him.

"A beautiful sword you got there. But at the cost of your friends that is."

Twilight didn't reply. Just a moment ago she lost her friends, she needed to get focused and deal with Nocturne.

"Listen Twilight, i didn't come here to kill you."

When he said that, she lowerd her sword and released a sight of relief.

"Then....what are you here for? Have you changed your mind after you found out the truth?"

"Yes, yes i did. When i Consumed my parents along with Crossbleser and Starswirl....i learnt some very intresting things about Phobetor after i had 'killed' him."

"What did you find out then?"

"I....no this is the burden i must carry with me Twilight, but know this. Phobetor is coming and i need your sword."

"What? What do you mean he is coming? Won't you join us?"

"No......I am sorry but i can't. The only thing that matters right now is for you to give me your sword. I need it's energies, they are more powerful than you think. Powerful enough to destroy Phobetor. Especially that sword that Celestia carries around."

Twilight then lifted her sword and said.

"Nocturne i wanted to help you. When Crossbleser told us that you were under Phobetor's control i thought that i could bring back to our side. So why! Why do you still want to destroy us?"

"Becuase of your powers! You are strong yes! But your Bones! Your Flesh! Your Minds! They are weak and Fragile! None of you can withstand the horrors that i have seen! So i am giving you one last chance Twilight. Tell the others to surrender and that i will be the one to save our world from total destruction!"

When he said that he dissapeared.

Now Twilight on the other hand had a lot to think. What did Nocturne mean by Phobetor is coming? When will he come and what is he going to do when he arrives?
