Two Hours Later,
Rainbow Dash’s Room,

“Hey there,” said a familiar voice.

Looking up, Rainbow Dash saw that it was Spitfire, the captain of the Wonderbolts.

“Oh! Hey there Spitfire!” said Rainbow Dash, quickly hoping off her bed to greet her friend.
“I just wanted to swing by and talk to you about…. Stuff,” said Spitfire nervously.
“What kind of ‘stuff,’” asked Rainbow Dash.
“I first off wanted to let you know that I, and indeed the whole Wonderbolts team are sorry about what happened to you,” said Spitfire.
“Thanks,” replied Rainbow Dash.
“You’re one of the greatest flyers we ever had on the Wonderbolts. We will sorely miss you.”
“You’re too kind.”
“I want you to know that once you’ve been a Wonderbolt, you’ll always be considered one. If there is ever anything that you need. Let me know.”
“That really means alot to me.”
“Before I go. I would like to mention one more thing. One of our trainers is considering leaving at the end of the next flying season when his contract expires. I was thinking that perhaps you could come and help us train the Wonderbolts Reserve.”
Rainbow Dash was excited at the prospect of remaining a contributing member of the Wonderbolts. However, cold reality reminded Rainbow Dash about her limitations. She wouldn't be able to fly with her recruits or to travel between the clouds at the Wonderbolts Facility.
“I appreciate the offer, but I don’t think I’ll be able to do it,” said Rainbow Dash, pointing to her missing wing.
“I suppose not,” said Spitfire, dejectedly. “We’ll really miss you on the Wonderbolts.”
“Hey,” said Rainbow Dash, attempting to interrupt the pitty party Spitfire was throwing for her. “Don’t feel to bad. You guys will do great without me. You’re the pegasi that inspired me to be a great flyer.”
“Thanks, Dash.” said Spitfire blushing.
Rainbow Dash threw her arms around Spitfire. “Thank you for being my hero.”
