Challenge of the Shadowbolts: Sweet Sweet Smallfoot
Chapter 17: We Belong Together
Previous ChapterThe rest of the girls stood outside of the diner, covered in the remains of food that splattered on them during the food fight, and they kept watching the Guardians and the Renegades continue to fight outside. But even though the Guardians were taking the fight to a safe distance so none of them would be hurt, there was still some daring questions.
"So... does anyone even know why the Renegades are back again?" Lemon Zest asked.
"Nope," Sugarcoat replied.
"Or why they're attacking the Guardians?"
"Nope."
"... we're never gonna get an explanation for why they just showed up out of nowhere, are we?" Sunny asked.
"I don't think so. I don't even see the point of them being here," Sugarcoat replied.
"You think if they just took this fight far from our eyes, we wouldn't miss anything?" Lemon asked.
"Probably not. I wouldn't even think we missed much if they weren't around," Sunny replied.
Looking behind, Indigo got the girls attention as they saw Smallfoot and Sour step out from the diner, with smiles on their faces, and this time, they were holding hands.
"Hey girls, I take it you two worked it out?"
The new couple didn't say anything but just looked back into each other's eyes with heart-warming smiles.
"Um... are you two alright?" Sunny asked.
Sour didn't say anything, but she pulled Smallfoot in a warm embrace and kissed her lips with sweet passion. Their arms wrapped around each other as they held each other.
Lemon's face dropped to complete shock, but slowly a big crazy grin came on her face.
"EEEEEE!!!! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT, IT KNEW IT, I KNEW IT!", Lemon began bouncing up and down in the air in excitement.
"What do you know. They finally got together," Sugarcoat smiled.
"Its about time they finally got together, I mean, GOD!", Indigo said.
"So, you two are a couple now?" Sunny asked.
The two broke out of the kiss and looked to their friends.
"Yes!" Sour squeed.
"Aw, congratulations you two!"
Lemon leaped up and gave them both a big hug, catching them by surprise. But both of them just smiled and hugged Lemon back. It wasn't long for the rest of the girls to gather around and group together in a bug hug around the new couple.
"Congrats you guys," Indigo smiled.
"Glad to see you two finally got together," Sugarcoat replied.
"I'm so happy for you girls!"
Sour and Smallfoot blushed.
"Yeah, we're happy too," Sour smiled, and pulled Smallfoot close to her, to hold her in a warm embrace.
"So... should we leave you two alone, or--" Sunny asked.
"Aw, come on! Can't we just hang out with them a little more? Sour, what do you think of your girlfriend's rack?", Lemon wiggled her eyebrows, while the others just groaned.
"Oh my god," Indigo groaned.
"Seriously?"
"You couldn't just leave a sweet moment alone, could you? You just had to ruin it?"
"Now, now, Sugarcoat, its fine. I think I can learn to live with that kind of low-brow humor. But there's one thing you're forgetting Lemon," Smallfoot said.
"Okay, what's that?"
Smallfoot gave a smug look to Lemon's face as she walked up to her and stared down at her.
"My rack is bigger than yours," Smallfoot said without regret.
The others paused as Smallfoot threw down her remark without any shame, and she simply just walked back to Sour and stood next to her while Lemon just stayed in total silence, taking in what was said.
"She's got you beat," Indigo said.
"Y-Yeah..."
"Anyways...", Sunny cringed, "Are you two going off on your own for the night?"
"Actually, Sunny? Can I talk to you girls in private?" Smallfoot interrupted.
"Um, sure."
Smallfoot looked to Sour, "Alright if I talk to them real quick?"
"Um... sure, I guess."
Smallfoot kissed Sour's cheek before going to talk the girls in a private discussion. With Sour far from earshot, Smallfoot huddled them together to discuss her plan.
"So, what do you need us to do?"
"Well..."
Sometime later, the group of 6 managed to make it out of the vicinity of the restaurant and the area where the Guardians and the Renegades were having their battle. And they made it out in one piece too, trying to leave the place with their fighting was difficult. Every other second, there was someone being tossed, kicked, or thrown to the spot they were trying to walk to, and so they had to keep turning around to a different location, or walk around them without being hurt themselves.
Eventually, the Renegades were getting tired of getting their butts kicked and they called for an immediate retreat as soon as more Guardians were on their way. With the Renegades retreating, the Guardians took off to the skies, flying back to their base of origin.
Luckily, they got out of there fast. But what Sour didn't know was what Smallfoot had in mind for them to go.
Smallfoot held Sour's hand as they walked closer and closer to where they were going to go, and Sour had a blindfold over her eyes.
"Just a few more, watch your step."
"Can't I just take the blindfold off?"
"No, its a surprise," Smallfoot chuckled.
"Well I want to see it!"
"Almost there... Okay."
Smallfoot removed the blindfold from Sour's eyes, allowing her to see what was in front of her. And she gasped when she saw what laid in front of her eyes.
"Smallfoot... you set this all up?"
Smallfoot nodded.
Sour and the rest of the group had travelled back to the Guardian base, in a giant auditorium like room. But it wasn't like any regular auditorium. The floors were checkered, and there were a few colored lights going all around, up in the ceiling. Off to the corners, there were a few tables with drinks and food. And there was a little stage set up, where a few Guardians were standing on.
"H-How, did you...?"
"I wanted to make this night amazing. So I called the Guardians to set this all up, and I also called the girls as well."
Sour felt tears forming in her eyes, but they were anything but sad.
"I... I don't know what to say..."
Smallfoot just smiled and pulled Sour in to give her a passionate kiss on the lips, wrapping her arms around her. Every kiss with Sour was pure heaven.
"Sour? May I ask if you would like to dance with me?"
Sour smiled as more tears came down her face, "Yes! Of course!"
"You heard her boys, lets hit it!", a voice from the stage yelled.
On the stage, there were a few Guardians with band equipment made for their size. And soon, they began playing the instruments, playing a song for them to dance to.
The two girls stepped out onto the dance floor, both holding each other's hands and staring deeply into each other's eyes. In Smallfoot's eyes, Sour's smile was the most beautiful thing in the world. She was now dating the most beautiful girl on the planet, and no one else could have her.
She stroked the side of her cheek, making her giggle.
Sour's hands wrapped around Smallfoot's neck, and Smallfoot's hands held Sour's sides, as the two began dancing together. Their bodies slowly moved to the pace of the song, and the two kept their eyes locked onto one another. Their lips met with passion, and their arms held each other in sweet, sweet, delicacy.
Sour's heart skipped a beat, the way that Smallfoot looked at her. Her smile melted her heart, and it made her feel warm inside. This girl was here for her now. She had a girlfriend now. And this was someone she was going to treasure.
"You look absolutely beautiful Sour," Smallfoot cooed.
"T-Thanks. And, you look gorgeous," Sour said as she pulled her in for another kiss.
Sour nuzzled Smallfoot's cheek as she held her in her arms, making her smile.
"So... how would you say this evening has turned out?"
"Honestly, this is the best night of my life," Sour smiled.
Smallfoot grinned and she pulled Sour in for another passionate kiss. Lust connected between their lips, as Smallfoot cradled her partner in her arms, eliciting a moan from Sour as they kissed.
Smallfoot gently pulled her up, leaving Sour with a shocked look.
"W-What was that for?"
"I just wanted to show you how grateful I am to have the most beautiful girl as my girlfriend," Smallfoot smiled.
Sour blushed, "Oh stop."
"Stop what?", Smallfoot replied, "You look downright amazing, and there isn't anything I can do to help it."
"Y-You're just saying that...", Sour cooed.
"Sour," Smallfoot said, cupping the side of Sour's face, "You're the most beautiful thing I've laid my eyes on. Never forget that."
Sour smiled back and leaned her head on Smallfoot, nuzzling her cheek. It felt absolutely amazing that she had the most wonderful, kind, caring, and sweet girlfriend she could ask for.
All of their friends couldn't help but smile as they danced together.
"I-I promised myself I wouldn't cry... but its too beautiful...", Lemon said, sobbing.
"They're so adorable together," Sunny said as she sighed.
"My money says they'll get married," Indigo joked.
"We'll just see Indigo. We'll just see...", Sugarcoat said, as she watched the couple dance.
By the end of the evening, the girls went their separate ways for the night, leaving the new couple by themselves. The two of them were a little tired, and exhausted from a long evening, but at the same time, they were nothing but happy.
And now, the new couple were on their way back to Sour's house for the night. And Smallfoot, feeling happy she could be open to Sour now, just changed her form back to her real Gobot body, only shrunken down to Sour's size.
"I'm really enjoyed this evening, Sour", Smallfoot smiled.
Sour giggled, "So did I... Big Rig."
Smallfoot blushed, "Really?"
Sour just giggled some more, "Yes. And I think its cute when you blush."
Smallfoot's face only went redder, making Sour just give her another kiss on her gray cheek. The two looked forward and saw Sour's house with the lights still on inside.
"So... should we just walk in then?" Smallfoot asked.
"I guess so," Sour replied.
Smallfoot kissed Sour's cheek again before looking in her eyes.
"Want a ride inside?"
Sour stifled a giggle, "What? Its just a few steps."
"I know. Just say yes."
"Okay.... yes?"
Smallfoot made a devious smile on her face, and Sour let out a yelp as Smallfoot swooped her into her arms, carrying her bridal-style. Sour's own eyes were wide as well, but she was anything but sad.
She looked back into Smallfoot's emerald eyes and planted a kiss on her cheek as she snuggled close to her new girlfriend. Smallfoot moved the door and managed to work a finger down to the handle and opened it without any struggles. Surprisingly, it wasn't locked.
She walked inside the house, still carrying her in her arms. Smallfoot looked around as she carried Sour inside and smiled. She had never seen the inside of Sour's house before, and now she was inside her girlfriend's home.
"Sour, this place looks amazing... I never got to see the inside of this place before," Smallfoot gasped.
"I know, its not really much but--"
"Sour. I think your home is fine the way it is," Smallfoot interrupted.
Sour smiled, "Thanks. Now, um... do you want me to show you around? Because I'll gladly show you around--"
"WHAT THE F#@* ARE YOU!?"
Smallfoot immediately froze in place when he heard the yell, and so did Sour. She knew who that angry voice belonged to. And she knew exactly why he was freaking out.
Smallfoot slowly turned around and froze at the sight of an older gentleman standing before them, with yellow skin and minty green hair. And in his hands was a small little pistol pointed at her.
"Put my daughter down, right now!"
"Um... I can explain," Smallfoot said.
"Who the *BLEEP* are you?"
"Well, I'm--"
Smallfoot didn't finish her sentence. Without thinking, her headlights on her chest blared a bright white light at Sour's father, blinding him. He moved his hands up to block all of the light, and he let out a yell as a small electric shock zapped him, sending him falling on the ground.
And without thinking, Smallfoot glared up at the ceiling lights and zapped the bulb in the ceiling, making the room completely black. Now she and Sour were in the dark, with Sour's father knocked out on the floor.
"... You just flashed my father."
"I'm sorry, I panicked!"
"Couldn't you have just used the knock-out shock?"
"I wanted him distracted, I didn't know what else to do!"
"You can't just go flashing people like that!"
"... Sorry."
