Prologue:

Immortal Beast

Whenever someone hears a tale of someone who gains immortality, there are two things that come to mind: a horrible sacrifice, and how it ends up being a curse. Normally, I would agree with that. I mean, you outlive your friends, are doomed to forever wander around the same world, and live with the constant knowledge of what you might have done to achieve said immortality. Then again, there’s always an exception to every rule, isn’t there?

So what would be the exception to the curse of immortality?

Well there are three, actually.

I just happen to be one of them.

Hold on, don’t go thinking this is a poorly written story about an Overpowered “OC” character. Just hear me out! Jeez, reading the prologue and you’re already judging me. I feel so pressured!

Sorry, back on track. Now, the reason I’m one of the three exceptions: I’m a Traveler. I was chosen/created by the Gods and Goddesses (capital “G”) to Travel throughout all of Time, Space, Matter, and across all of the realities and dreams for all of eternity. Can’t die, I can learn everything, and I’m the guy who’s on the side of Good.

However, there are two others with the same basic powers as me: The Traveler of Neutrality, Neutra, and Torrentican, the Traveler of Evil. Now, you might be asking WHY there are three Travelers, and why the Gods created us. It’s pretty simple really; All three of us are supposed to keep the balance between Good, Evil, and Neutrality, while also ensuring the survival of all universes, multiverses, and other such things like that.

Chances are, if you’ve read, thought, or dreamt about it, there’s a world out there for it. And that world has then given birth to worlds of its own. Guess who gets to Travel to all of them?

Yeah. My name’s Omnius. Others call me Nathan Traveler, or Sean Brandenburg. I have no idea of how old I am, I’m a Libra who enjoys long walks on the beach, and am pretty much bat-shit insane from all the things I’ve seen on my Travels.

I’m a Traveler. And I’m an immortal who will never get tired of doing the things he does.

It’s good to be The Traveler.

Most of the time at least.

T/N: Okay, just to let everyone know, IT IS NOT REQUIRED TO READ THE FIRST STORY TO READ THIS ONE. It is a separate story in its own right. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think! Next Chapter: 1) Old World, New Body Estimated time remaining: 3 Hours, 12 Minutes
