It was yet another peaceful day in Equestria after the defeat of Discord by Twilight Sparkle and her friends. The main 6 were just getting settled back into their daily routines, when all of a sudden, a portal appeared in the middle of Ponyville. Everypony gathered around it to see what it was about, when a figure stepped out. It looked a lot like a cassowary, but was standing more upright then it should. It seemed to not have noticed the ponies yet.

"Finally, I escaped that wretched mammal filled world to, whatever world this is. As soon as my sight comes back, I shall set up a new Cassopolis here!" the creature said. " Ah good my sight is returning, I wonder what kind of creatures inhabit... this... world. Oh great more mammals!" The creature than pulled out a remote and pressed a button, causing an army of reptile like creatures that stood on two legs to come out the portal. "All right mammals, bow down to me or suffer the consequences!"

Within minutes Ponyville was overrun by reptiles and most of the citizens either enslaved or run out of town. They even got everypony of the main six except for Twilight. She was then able to get a letter to Celestia and Luna about the invasion.But from their, she could only pray.
