the Citadel Guards and servants began to leave the tower, their minds were clear and open. they realized they were working for a monster and now wanted to leave. the guards and soldiers tossing their armor and weapons in a large pile. but they were ponies lost in a familiar but alien world. Celestia and Luna, with their magic and cutie Marks restore had a lot of work ahead, but thanks to Nightquill's suggestion, they've decided to send the Citadel Ponies to Hollow shades to begin a new life.

Twilight carried the now filly sized Nyx on her back, she cried for hours before falling asleep, Celestia wanted  to remove the memories, but Nyx refused, if she was made to forget her actions it would only dishonor Aurora's Sacrifice.

"What shall we do with the tower, sister?" Luna asked, watching Twilight leave with Nyx.

Inside, Broadsword was wrapping Aurora's body in linen. he wanted to give her a proper burial. Nightquill was helping him as they began to cremate the body.

"For now sister, let us just worry about it another time, this week has been taxing on me." Celestia said. seeing Aurora be executed was difficult and mentally exhausting as her mind tormented her by playing it over and over. "I just wish to go home."

"Yes, as do I." Luna said. she was just as traumatically exhausted.

Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie followed Twilight, they were silent and also very tired. when Rarity was about to speak, Twilight cut her off.

"Let's just go home, everypony."

Back at Ponyville, Twilight pulled the armor off Nyx and tossed it to the side like it was a sin. she tucked her daughter in her bed as she slept. when she turned to leave the room she was greated by the armor fully reassembled and the ghost of a unicorn stallion wearing it. he gave a sympathetic smile to her and nodded.

Twilight blinked and looked at who she knew was the first Crusader of Harmony's spirit. "What now?"

The Crusader trotted up to her. "the threat is gone now. the crusader of Harmony is no longer needed."

Twilight blinked. "W-What should I do then?"

"Take the armor and return it to Saddle Tor, there it will remain until needed once more." The crusader said.

"What do you mean, needed once more?" Twilight asked starting to fear the possibilities of a new threat.

"you will know it when the time is comes.... and by then it will be your time to take the mantel." The Crusader said as he stepped back and disappeared, the armor returning to it's original form, before Nyx ever put it on.

Twilight looked at the Armor and picked up the helmet, seeing her reflection in it. the reflection shifted as she saw herself as an Alicorn, now wearing the armor. she set the helmet down and stepped away from it.

Later that Morning, Twilight saw Nightquill and Broadsword sitting together at the park. they were taking in the sunrise as she approached, a box being held in her magic aura.

"Excuse me, Broadsword?"

Broadsword looked back at Twilight and smiled. he trotted up to her. "I've decided to move to Hollow Shades, to be with Nightquill and start a new life. maybe adopt a foal someday."

Twilight smiled and hugged the ancient Unicorn. "I'm happy to hear that! but what about being a Knight?"

"We're going to start a new order, and have the base of operations at Hollow Shades Temple of harmony." Nightquill said, kissing Broadsword's chin causing the unicorn to chuckle. "After the wedding ofcourse."

Twilight raised her brow. "Wedding...? Congratulations!"

the two looked to eachother and smiled. "We know we belong together." Broadsword said as he looked to the box. "what is that?"

"the Armor of the Crusader.... it wants to go to back to Saddle Tor." Twilight said as she gave them the box.

Broadsword looked at the armor, having been returned to it's original state. "Shame, I was hoping Nyx would keep the mantel of the Crusader of Harmony. she shows much promise."

"perhaps, but she's still very young. maybe when she's older, she can become a new crusader?" Twilight suggested with a smile. one that broadsword returned.

"Then the Knights of Harmony shall be ready until then." Broadsword said putting his hoof to his chest, looking to Nightquill.

"Once the order is restored and has new members, we shall serve Equestria once more." Nightquill said wrapping his wing around Broadsword.

Twilight smiled. "and the Knights of Friendship shall wait as well, and join you until our new Crusader is ready to lead us."

Broadsword and Knightquill put their hooves over the box that contained the Armor of the crusader.

"until that day." Broadsword offered.

Twilight reached her hoof out and placed it on Nightquill and Broadsword's hooves. "until that day."

"Until that day when a new crusader arises!" the three declared in Unison.
