A Key Visit from Royals

"Fillies and Colts, I am proud to present our recipient of the Key to the City, Green!" announced the Mayor to an up-roaring applause. I was shaking in my hoofs. The 7 mares I knew were with me at the bottom of the stage's side. They cheered me up when I got nervous. Rainbow and I were hugging/nuzzling/whatever ponies do.

Before we begin, We have two special guests to give the key to Green. The Princesses of Equestria," The Mayor started as Twilight became nervous at the prospect of the following events being messed up, "Celestia and Luna!" the mayor finished as they appeared. The Crowd roared cheers. Twilight was sweating.

"Are you alright, Sweetie," Trixie said, hugging her.

"I'm a little nervous; that's all," Twilight answered.

"But your not the one getting the key, sugarcube; Green is," Applejack said, giving Twilight a hoof-noogie.

"And now....Green!" The mayor said, backing up. I went up to the stage. The others went teary-eyed. I bowed in front of the two royal figures before me.

"It is with a great honor that I bestow this key to a great citizen, Green," Celestia said, handing me the key. I bowed again as I went to the podium for a improvised speech.

"Thank you. I would like to say that this town, Ponyville is a great place to live. Many different ponies live and make up our fair city. But 7 in particular helped me understand why Ponyville is so great. Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Twilight and, most of all, Rainbow Dash or my mare-friend." She kisses me and joins the others on stage. "Spike and Trixie also showed me that not only can ponies change your understanding but also show-ponies and dragons. These ponies are more than ponies; their my friends," I finished to an applause. I was on cloud-9.

We along with the princesses went back to Twilight's tree to recover from paparazzi.

"Princesses. I hope things went alright," Twilight said worriedly.

"Not to fear my faithful student. All went well," Celestia said as we sat down.

"The Paparazzi are still relentlessness as always, big sister," Luna said as the windows filled with camera flashes. Fluttershy shut the curtains.

"Now, Green. You are generous, kind and thoughtful. I am grateful that you are here to help out anypony. As for you, my little ponies, thank you for making Green feel welcome," Celestia said.

"I agree. Well done, my little Ponies," Luna said, standing with her sister.

"If you'll excuse us, we must return to Canterlot. We are glad to have met you, Green," Celestia said, getting ready to fly back home.

"An honor, your Majesties," I said bowing. They took off and in a moment, they were gone. After their departure, the camera-ponies left too.

"See yeah later tonight," Applejack said leaving.

"So long for now," Fluttershy said, leaving too.

"Yeah...we gotta go too. Sleepover tonight?" I asked Twilight, getting ready to leave with Rainbow.

"Yes, Green," she replied as we took off. The sleepover will be awesome.
