I'm RRBB's friend PaintDrop, and I must confess I'm surprised I'm writing this at all. When RRBB told me about this place I thought it was a joke—just a punch of mares reading colt stories. Well, jokes are on me.

@Brush, your writing is spectacular. I literally felt my mane stand on end as I read your stories (I searched through the aethernet for everything you've written.) if it's okay with you, can I make illustrations to your words? I won't be able to post them until the filter system is in place, i want to hear your thoughts, though.

As for me, I'm a total newbie to Midnight Castle. I've already ordered the Mistmount Chronicles and am willing to give them a chance. If nothing else I'll be able to enjoy Brush's works fully that way. @RRBB You wish you can write like that!

I was thinking more of illustrating The Space Confession. It's sad, but as RRBB has mentioned I have a thing for M-M scenes. I could do The Human and I afterwards, if you want?

Glad to have you join us, PaintDrop. Any friend of RRBB is welcome! Welcome to the Nightlings. If you're just starting the series, I recommend you skip chapters 3 and 7 of the first Mistmount series. Not that they are bad, but... okay, they are bad. I've had a friend almost quit because she started with them.

@RRBB @LyraHands: I can't say much because I'll get some ponies in trouble, but so far it seems pretty real!

Now I don't know much details, but S.Child is forming a new team. From what I heard two things are being discussed: a total reboot of the series with a new set of characters, and a continuation of the old series. Somepony I'm close to said that S.Child wanted a totally new series in a new world with new characters. She said they're calling it the Famous Five. The other thing they are considering is a merging of worlds after the end of volume 7.

And yes, hope you aren't grounded for long. Did you win?

@PrinceEric: a few bruises, but you should see the other gal ;) I'm fine, seriously. And even if I end up grounded, I'll still sneak from Paint's device. We're in the same class, so there's that.

Argh! The Famous Five is the worst idea ever! Not that the other one is good. It's like the stunt they pulled between the original series and Mistmount Chronicles. :( I get it that ten years passed between volumes, back then, but what's the deal now? Mistmount ended half an year ago. :/ I really hope that's a hoax.

@PrinceEric: that would suck. Totally sounds fake. Would still suck, though.

New characters would be such a waste. The old ones are perfect. Plus, Brush will get a heart attack if they killed Bellucio. Although, interesting if they take the descendant approach. That might be cool. The current cast are married and successful and whatnot, and the Famous Five are their kids? I could see it happening, especially if we have cameos now and and then.
