By the way, are you thinking of coming out? On the site I mean. The others will understand. I mean quite a few already came out. Things turned out well for them. Why are you so terrified it would be different for you?

My case is very different and you know it. Besides, I don't think most of them are ready. Not DarkSparkle for certain. I suspect InItForTheShipping knows. She didn't say anything which was nice, but mostly because she was surprised. Also I have very the site and Luna to thank, and you. Being a Nightling showed me in a very different light. I can't expect everypony would be like that, though.

On that note don't you think it's time to have a get-together? Jade is married, poor guy, so he has no excuse not to be working. Well, Max is an eternal excuse, but he knew what he was getting himself into when he accepted. (Personally, I think she'll break him like a twig.)

Yeah, Max… The things she posted got me thinking. Do you think we're taking the right approach? I mean an adventure sounded like a great idea, but aren't we going too far? A new set of characters, explaining some dark and ancient secret as old as the gods themselves… is that what we're supposed to do?

Already we have Euryala, which is a controversial character, even if more and more ponies are starting to like her. We have Blazen, who has always been considered edgy, and we have this monster chasing thing. It's not at all small and homey like the original MC.

Wait a minute. Are you actually doubting yourself? You of all ponies? Light, if there's anypony who's fit for this it's you. The MC stories were written in a different time for a different audience. You can feel what's the right way to go. If you couldn't do you think Luna would have chosen you? Jade is great, but with the imagination of a rock, I’m terrible with character emotions, you're the one who actually knows what's going on.

Besides, remember you beat your mother in the latest contest :) Doesn't that tell you anything?

Only because she let me win. And I am worried. Everyone thinks my writing is so good, yet tune final product is nowhere near the real thing. Did you read Chosen to the end? Both they and Everhere are miles ahead of anything I could come up with.

Sometimes I think the best thing to do is apologize to Luna and ask her to find somepony else in my place.

Anyway sorry for the rant and all that. The thing is I'm feeling alone right now. Funny how I say this after my family was here for two weeks, followed by WaterBottle and her crush, and then I had my friends literally take turns staying here nursing me back to health from the living plague… :/

Guess that now that I'm not fighting any sickness my body has decided it would let me experience the emotional *yay* :/

Yeah, yeah. You're my best friend :P Seriously, friends aren't the problem. I’m lucky there, even if I have a messed up family. I guess I'm just afraid I'll become alone and like them. That scares me.

When you get emotional you sure pull out all the stops. :/ Tell you what, how about you focus on the grand project for now? Wiring something that large will both take your mind off things and serve as practice for the real work to come :)
