And now the juicy stuff! (Don't’ think for a moment that I won’t be using it in my next Danny Saga story! :P ) The Next series is scheduled to hit the stores exactly at midnight on Nightmare’s Night. Miniatures (yes, they have been confirmed) will start appearing six months before that, which makes it likely the first ones to appear in less than a month from now. (I seriously recommend you buy the early ones as fast as possible since they are promo editions and will be released in extremely limited quantities)

@LyraHands: No worries, I’ll buy you a set and you can repay me when you have a chance. ;) For everypony else, I’ll need money in advance. (I’m estimating the figurines would be somewhere around 50-100 bits each).

I’ve no idea what the actual story will be. From what I’ve heard the first miniatures will come with spoiler fliers which will have some hints, but nothing too spoilery. Still no idea about the name :/ All I got is that it’s referred to as “Codename: Starshine”

Great info! I’m not interested in the miniatures, but the rest sounds really interesting. If anypony gets them, please share the flier text? Would be fun to speculate what we’ll find in the series.

Let’s speculate now! :D I think they’ll move from the mountain. It’s still not sure where Poseidon is (it was mentioned that might only be his spiritual vessel and the real him is hidden somewhere else.) I think the series will take place in a desert!

Great find. I did some digging. There is something called Starshine – an aether domain registered under a company that was created less than a month ago. I haven’t been able to find any information on that company which leads me to believe it’s a copyright front.

Other domains the company has registered include:
Desertfox, Shadowstar, and Sorrowchild.

Sadly that’s still not much, since the names are generic in regard to colt fiction. The reason I’m inclined to believe they are MC related is the fact that there are no doublings as of yet. Whoever registered the domains, made sure that there aren’t any existing ones, and that in itself is impressive (and expensive). Of course, there’s no guarantee that some other book series hasn’t taken the names for their own.

RRBB: grab me a set of miniatures when you can. I'm curious to see how they've done the humans. I asked my parents to get me a professional clay set so I'll start making human clay models soon. Brush gets the first good one.

@PrinceEric: forgive the lack of enthusiasm. We've been through this before with the last MC volume. There were a lot of speculations and rumors flying around, then it had nothing to do with it. A friend of mine told me that publishing houses sometimes spread fake info when they want to limit leaks.

I've actually seen some of the miniatures, and they are not that good. :( I mean they are okay sort of, but no Daring Do collectible. The posters are something else. I've already got three and might try to get one more. If there are any left after the event I'll get some for you girls as well.

All this makes no sense! Why in Equestria will they start their campaign so early?!? There's eight months till Nightmare Night. Even with popular books the hype machine usually starts up to three months before release. There's absolutely no way for anyone to maintain that, even S&S.

That aside... miniatures? You must be bucking kidding me! Who the heck buys miniatures of a series they know nothing about. The only way I see it is if the miniatures are free gifts. 50 bits?! I can buy a mug for that much! With any picture I want!

There's no denying this looks legit, but it makes no bucking sense! Either that or is the most elaborate hoax ever! Do you think Pinkie Pie is behind this?
