In and out. Tough day at work and trying to deal with this exploit thing. That scared me to Tartarus and back. Tech, Code, Mighty, Dark, and even Light are going through it now. So far everything seems calm, thank Celestia.

No. Not exactly. I'm just... I feel there's tension building up between me and Mota. :(

He's been talking more and more about foals and marriage lately, and Don't think I'm ready. And with all the real life stuff sending me all over Equestria I don't get to see him as much as before. :( He was always gently pushing me to consider making us official. When we were together I could find an excuse to change the topic. Now though... I haven't seen him in a week, and even then it was for a few days after another long pause. :(

I'm not sure what to do, Lyra! :( I don't want to lose him! I love him so very much. And he loves me, I can feel it! At the same time he wants something I don't think I can give. You know how nervous I get. I had nightmares for a week after the meetup, and I loved it there! Telling his family and mine, out friends... that's just too much.

Not exactly. He's been suggesting it. Most often it'll be a subtle comment, or a comment about Jade and Max. He has been insisting I take the first step, though. We almost got into a fight about it yesterday :( I never thought I'd get into a fight with him.

You probably think I'm an idiot. The stallion of my dreams is here… and I get cold hooves because he's offering me exactly what I dreamt he would.

I feel like we've had this conversation before. What you need to do first and foremost is to remain calm. Take a few deep breaths, then fly about just for the heck of it.

Sometimes stallions are like that. He's probably worried that he might lose you, which, let's face it, isn't a huge leap considering what you do. Stallions can be clingy sometimes, it's their nature. To be honest, you do need a push every now and again.

I’m not ready for such a commitment! I can barely take care of myself! What if I'm a horrible wife? Or worse, a horrible mother? He'll be depending on me and I can... I don't even know what I could mess up :(

Hey, if there's anypony qualified to become a parent, that's you. You've been taking care of things ever since I met you. Hay, if I needed a foalsitter I'd call you. That's not your worry. The only thing that you need to think about is how to stop freaking out and treat Mota in a way that would show him you're ready, but prefer to do it a bit later. That's the trick. As long as he knows in his mind that you're okay, he'll give you time, maybe even more than you need.

But I can't! Every time we talk about this I want to fly away. Sometimes I'm even scared talking to him because I fear he'll ask and I'll...

A few weeks. I... he told me he was scared about me and I'm not spending enough time with him. The conversation moved to foals a bit later.

That might be another issue. I think it's best you tackle it first. Make it a point to spend more time with him, and just agree about the having goals in principle. And don't freak out. Okay?

Umm, do you have any suggestions how I could make him happy again? I really love him and I constantly feel I'm letting him down :(

Uhh. I've been sending his favorite brand of tulips, the ones we have when we're together. And I even brought him a pet to play with. (A cute duckling. He said it reminds him of me.) Still, I feel it's not the same... :(

Oh, mare... One of the best romance writers on the site and I need to give you advice. Two things: romantic evening and fireflies.

Based on what I've seen, Mota likes the notion of romance. Free up a night, preferably tonight, find a nice romantic meadow, and when the moon rises have Mota teleported there. Best way is to send him a PM asking about it, then when he asks when, you get him teleported and whisper in his ear "Now".

Think of him as a foal that needs calming down. You need to be strong, reliable, you need to make him feel safe.

In the morning have him teleported back.

Brush, he has everything money can buy. That's not why he fell for you. He just wants you, but more importantly, he wants you to reassure him you're there for him.
