Twenty year-old Spike has a pretty good life working as a manager at Carousel Boutique for Rarity who he's always had a crush on; but so far its never escalated into anything special besides a good friendship between him and her. Even so, he's happy and content with the current relationship they share.

That however changes one Hearth's Warming Eve night when Rarity begins second-guessing herself for how she's been treating Spike throughout the years, and who is right for her as a seemingly hopeless romantic: a fellow high-class stallion, or someone who is completely different from her kind?

The answer to that will determine and possibly dramatically change the relationship between the Drake and the generous and the breathtaking Seamstress for better, or for worse.
