Twivine Sparkle's Creation

"Huh? What is this?"

Twivine stared at the strange sphere of energy that she had tucked away. Ever since a strange portal to the so-called "human world", in which an alternate, demonised Twilight Sparkle appeared, Twivine had begun to lose control of her magic, often having magic leak from her body and manifest deep in the Everfree Forest. Now, she had this strange energy sphere in front of her. Twivine, of course, was unsure what is was, or why it chose to stick with her in particular. As Twivine turned to walk away, she heard a voice call out...

"Twivine...."

Twivine Sparkle turned around and stared at the sphere. "Was that you?" she asked the sphere in confusion. She couldn't really believe it, she was talking to a ball, asking if it was the source of the voice.

"Twivine...Sparkle..."

Twivine stared deeply into the sphere, until she could make out the shape within. She recognised certain aspects of the figure, and saw who it was. "N-No....IMPOSSIBLE!!" The sphere began to take on a shape, a physical form...and one that Twivine recognised all too well.

"Tirek....is that...you?"

The figure looked up at Twivine, and spoke in a feminine voice "Twivine...Sparkle...how nice to see you..." Twivine looked at the figure. Sure, she resembled Lord Tirek, but she wasn't Lord Tirek. She was almost exactly like Tirek, except she was a female, whereas Lord Tirek was a male.

"You look like Tirek...but...you aren't him...I'm going to call you Lady Tirek."

Lady Tirek, as Twivine called her, looked at her pony creator and grinned. "Lady Tirek. Perfect, a name befitting of my power, and a reminder that Equestria will be doomed!"

Twivine's expression turned to one of horror, as Lady Tirek's laughter echoed through her mind.

Lady Tirek's Plan

"I know that you once stripped ALL the alicorns of their magic, am I correct?" Lady Tirek asked Twivine.

"Y-Yes...I did that...but that was the past! I have changed since then!" Twivine responded, letting Lady Tirek know that she has been reformed since her defeat at the hooves of Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Lady Tirek smirked as Twivine finished her statement. "Not on my watch, Twivine."

Twivine, still confused but also fearful of what the Tirek-like being in front of her was planning. "Just one question though, how do you know me?" she asked.

"Your DNA was combined with the dark powers of Lord Tirek, am I correct?"

"Yes"

"Well, because of the one they call Midnight Sparkle, you began to have magic leaking from your body and manifesting itself. That magic was responsible for creating...me."

Twivine took a small step back from Lady Tirek as she stepped forward. "W-What are you trying to say? And what do you need me for?!" she asked in fear.

Lady Tirek walked past Twivine, and looked toward the city of Canterlot, visible in the distance. "Canterlot will be the perfect place to start, since it contains a lot of equines."

Twivine stared toward Canterlot as well, looking back as Lady Tirek advanced. "Oh Twilight...please be careful."

Meeting Moondancer

Lady Tirek and Twivine Sparkle walked through Canterlot in the dark of the night, where nopony would be able to see them and intervene with what they were up to.

Twivine had a different frame of mind than Lady Tirek. She didn't want to go around stripping ponies of their magic for the sake of gaining ultimate power. She knew what fate befell the original Lord Tirek, and she knew that Lady Tirek's fate may be similar, unless she does something different. 'What if she goes down Scorpan's path?' Twivine pondered. What if Lady Tirek manages to befriend a pony, and changes her ways? All those thoughts of a positive side to Lady Tirek flooded Twivine's mind. After all, if Lady Tirek was a combination of Twivine's magic and DNA, then surely she could be able to persuade Lady Tirek to become a good centaur. That way, she could avoid the fate of Lord Tirek.

Suddenly, Lady Tirek stopped in her path and looked up to the Canterlot Library, where a single window was illuminated with a bright light. "Looks like one pony is awake on this fine night, Twivine. Go up there, while I make my approach." Lady Tirek instructed Twivine, asserting her control over the former dark alicorn.

"Um...actually...is this really what you want to be doing with yourself, Lady Tirek?" Twivine asked, prompting a confused response from Lady Tirek.

"What do you mean, Twivine? This is what we've been striving for since your creation!" Lady Tirek replied, reminding Twivine of what her original intentions for Equestria were.

"Look...don't you think that maybe we should try something OTHER than what Lord Tirek wanted? I mean, don't you know what happened to him?" Twivine asked, once again trying to change Lady Tirek's mind on what she wanted to do.

Suddenly, Lady Tirek's face turned to once of slight frustration, but also had an unsettling grin. "Oh Twivine, you are so naïve. Of course I know what happened to Tirek, but I will not go down his path. Now, be a good little pony and introduce yourself to whoever lies on the other side of that window."

Twivine sighed and looked down. "Y-Yes, Lady Tirek..." she said as she walked into the library and up the staircase.

Within the library stood a single mare, Moondancer. Moondancer turned around and saw Twivine. Having never encountered Twivine Sparkle before, she made the initial mistake of confusing her for Twilight.

"Oh, hey Twilight, what brings you here?" Moondancer asked, happy that Twilight was paying her a visit once again. However, once Twivine stepped out of the shadows, she realised her mistake...sort of. "Whoa...your hair looks different. What did you do to it?"

Twivine looked toward the way she came in, hoping Lady Tirek wasn't close. "Look, Moondancer, I may look like Twilight...but I'm not who you think I am." She paused, taking in Moondancer's confused expression, then resumed. "My name is Twivine Sparkle, I'm Twilight Sparkle's dark twin, a-and you're about to meet my friend..." Twivine cut herself off due to Lady Tirek being in the room, behind Moondancer.

"H-Huh? What are you talking about, Twivine?" Moondancer quickly turned behind her, revealing Lady Tirek in all her glory.

"Hello, Moondancer. You must be a friend of Princess Twilight." Lady Tirek spoke, an evil grin streaking across her face.

"W-Who are you?!" Moondancer asked in fear. She stepped back, looking behind her to see Twivine looking on in shock and horror.

"You can call me...Lady Tirek. And you are just one of many." Lady Tirek spoke as she quickly began to drain the magic from Moondancer. She screamed out in pain and tried to escape, but couldn't escape the centaur's grasp. Eventually, she fell to the ground, exhausted ad completely drained of magic.

"I-I'm sorry...Moondancer..." Twivine softly apologised as Moondancer weakly walked down the staircase. Lady Tirek glew a bright orange briefly, before lifting the hood from her veil.

"Oh, this is just the start, Twivine. Soon, we will find every Unicorn, Pegasus and Earth Pony in Equestria, and after that, I will go after the alicorns!" Lady Tirek laughed as Twivine looked down at the ground again.

"What have I done...?"

The Celebration (Post-Season 6)

Meanwhile, in the former 'Cutie Markless' village, the Mane 6, accompanied by the princesses, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie, Discord, Thorax, and male alicorn Delta Brony, are celebrating the defeat of Queen Chrysalis and the reformation of the Changeling Kingdom

"Congratulations Starlight Glimmer, you defeated Queen Chrysalis and saved Equestria!" Delta said to Starlight, pleased that her reformation had gone so well.

"Why thank you, Delta Brony. I'm just happy that Equestria has been saved. Who knows what could have happened?" Starlight replied, smiling.

Cadence, Shining Armour and Twilight were attending to Flurry Heart, who almost doomed the Crystal Empire due to her then-uncontrollable powers. The rest of Twilight's friends were hanging out with the other ponies. Celestia, however, wasn't enjoying the party as much as she wanted to. All she could hear were the echoes of parts of conversations between Twivine and Lady Tirek.

"This is just the start...soon we will find every Unicorn, Pegasus and Earth Pony in Equestria, then we go after the alicorns!"

Suddenly, Celestia snapped back, to see Princess Luna, Princess Twilight and Delta Brony standing with her. "Something is troubling you, big sister. What is wrong?" Luna asked her sister.

"Oh it's simply terrible, Luna! Twivine Sparkle...has created a being with the power of Tirek!" Celestia's comment caused Twilight and Delta to take horrified expressions on their faces.

"NO!!! Twivine!!" Twilight cried out. She had to defeat Twivine and Tirek before, and after her last encounters, she wasn't willing to face either of them again, especially considering Twivine had reformed.

Delta Brony also had something to say. "No....say it isn't so, Celestia!!!" Celestia looked toward the entrance to the village, where a pony was lumbering in. Twilight recognised the figure.

"Moondancer!" Twilight called out, rushing to her now magic-drained friend.

Everypony gathered around Moondancer, who was now evidence of what Lady Tirek was capable of doing. "T-Twilight....the one who looks like you...has created a being....and it drained my magic. It's called L-Lady Tirek...you have to....stop her..." Moondancer then collapsed from exhaustion.

Twilight looked toward the distant silhouette of Ponyville. "OK everypony, we need to find Twivine, AND Lady Tirek!!"

Twivine Sparkle Rebels

A whole night had passed since Moondancer had lost her magic. Lady Tirek went ahead and drained the magic from every unicorn in Canterlot. Twivine simply looked on in horror, realising that she had created a monster bent on ultimate power and control over Equestria.

After that, Lady Tirek moved to Cloudsdale, where she stripped all the pegasi of their ability to fly, leaving them unable to maintain the weather. The more magic she drained, the more her physical form began to alter. She no longer needed to keep her hooded cloak on, and quickly disposed of it. Twivine still couldn't believe what she had unleashed, and looked back fearfully at the chaos left behind in their wake.

Soon, she had arrived at Ponyville, where she robbed everypony there of their magic. She had grown in size and even looked stronger than she previously was, now resembling Lord Tirek but as a female. She turned and looked down to face Twivine, who looked up in fear.

"Everything is going according to plan, Twivine! Soon, I will become strong enough to take the magic from the princesses!" Lady Tirek told her companion as she laughed. Twivine was on the break of tears, having been conflicted on whose side she was really on. She finally had enough of Lady Tirek's plan, and finally snapped.

"NO! I can't take this anymore!!!" Twivine cried out, as she began to walk away, prompting a confused response from Lady Tirek.

"Twivine, what are you doing?!" Lady Tirek called out. Twivine looked back at her, tears streaming down her face.

"Look at yourself Lady Tirek!! Do you realise what you're doing?!" Twivine asked Lady Tirek, in the hopes of causing her to have a change of heart. Lady Tirek, on the other hand, was trying to regain control over Twivine.

"But...Twivine, Equestria will be ours! It'll be like a having a playground all to ourselves!!"

Twivine's expression quickly turned to one of anger, as she knew Lady Tirek was beyond reasoning. "NO IT'S NOT! Equestria belongs to everypony! I won't let you take the princesses' magic..." she paused before continuing "There's a good chance that, if you do, you'll end up JUST like the Tirek locked up in Tartarus!"

Lady Tirek grew frustrated with Twivine, who had just stated that she would end up just like Lord Tirek "ENOUGH!!! Tirek took the bait and lost to Princess Twilight! I, however, will not suffer the same fate! I WILL take her magic, and that goes for the rest of the princesses!!"

Twivine looked up at her, her usually Sombra-like eyes turning into regular eyes, a sign that she no longer had darkness within her "I have no choice...our partnership ends NOW!!!" Twivine yelled as she teleported away, leaving Lady Tirek shocked.

"No...TWIVINE!!!" she called out, before recovering from Twivine's betrayal. "Who needs her anyway?! She was weak minded, just like Tirek's brother Scorpan!

Celestia, Luna and Cadence had been watching what happened from their castle, shocked at all the chaos Lady Tirek caused, but also thankful that Twivine had betrayed her.

"So that's what Lady Tirek looks like...such a feeble monster." Luna remarked.

Celestia was slightly more concerned about Lady Tirek than Luna supposedly was "We know now that Twivine doesn't want her stealing magic. Let's just hope that she can be defeated before she takes the alicorn magic."
