The Siege of Vienna, 1683. 15,000 Viennese troops were able to hold off 140,000 Ottoman soldiers long enough for a relief force to arrive. The battle that took place between that force and the Ottomans included the largest cavalry charge in human history. And that charge was spearheaded by 3,000 Elite Polish Winged Hussars, led by King John III Sobieski of the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Ottomans were crushed under the hooves of the Hussars. Unable to withstand the sheer amount of badassery headed their way.

To quote Badass of the Week: "These guys were nuts – they never backed down from a fight, always went completely balls-out all of the time, and looked at ten-to-one as an exciting challenge rather than a suicide charge. Total insanity."

So obviously such epicness can't be handled by one dimension.

My first attempt at writing something that doesn't completely suck ass. All criticism is welcome. And if you didn't like it then at least have the courtesy to tell me why.
