Chapter #1

09/12/2016…

[REDACTED LOCATION]

5:24PM…

A lone man walked down a dimly lit concrete corridor, his shoes clicked and echoed through the seemingly empty halls of the bunker. In his arm was a tattered folder, on the front of it was a stamped cherry red seal that stated, “TOP SECRET, ONLY VIEWABLE BY AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL,” The folder was thick with papers, photos, and posted notes, all with writing on them, some in black sharpy, other in red pen. Pictures of individuals with faces blacked out and eyes crossed over, others were pictures of buildings with arrows pointing to different parts of the structures, with little blurbs of text behind the arrows. Profiles of individuals deemed, “targets,” or “people of interest,” were all placed next to each other. Some of the individuals faces on their manuscripts were crossed, and stamped with a, “REDACTED,” seal and most things about their bio blacked out.

On the tab of the folder was a single word written in black text, a word that would forever go down in history as the word that changed the world, “CANTERLOT.” This was the name given to a small county that recided on the eastern seaboard of the United States of America. This one town in particular, as of recent events have gotten the attention of the government. The events that had occurred there had been utterly other worldly. The people of the town thrown in harm's way multiple times, thousands of dollars worth of property damage, and otherwise possibly paranormal activity, made this area a top priority for the US Government.

The man rounded a corner and was immediately halted by two American soldiers in full combat gear with helmets and tan ski masks. Behind them was a chain link fence blocking another hallway that had a gate placed in the middle with a keypad lock. On the left side of a gate was a red sign with white letters reading, “HALT, THE AREA BEYOND THIS CHECKPOINT IS EXTREMELY CLASSIFIED,” on the right side of the gate was the same looking sign that read, “PLEASE HAVE YOUR I.D. IN ORDER TO PASS,”

The two soldiers looked at the individual's face, they looked at each other, then moved out of the path to the door. The man walked up to the keypad and entered a series of numbers, ‘2-0-1-3.’ With a few clicking noises the door opened and allowed the man access to the hall. After he had walked through the door, the two speechless soldiers relocked the door behind him as he walked on.

This new hallway had slightly brighter lighting and pipes began lining the walls. Doors with numbers and names on them began to appear. In between the walls were post boards with papers tacked on them, also posters and advertisements. One poster showed a soldier holding an assault rifle. His right leg was on top of a pile of dead bodies and black rubble, and he was positioned in a heroic stance with golden lighting behind him with the words, “If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem,” above him. Below him were the words, “Join the U.I.T.F. today, and make tomorrow certain again.” As the man continued on he began to pass other people, some were patrolling soldiers that saluted him as he passed, others were men in off duty uniforms with Berets, whom also saluted him. After much walking and traversing more hallways, the man finally reached a door that wasn’t like the others. All the doors he had passed were a deep grey with a meshed window in the center of the top half. This door however was a light brown, and made out of wood. It’s window was tinted green, and the name, LtCol. Dwight G. Patrason, was printed in white on the glass.

The suited man gave the door a hard three bangs, and then waited. The man took notice to a camera above him to the left, it was recording. This camera was being viewed by the man he needed entrance to. After a few seconds, the door made a buzzing noise and then a loud click omitted from the handle, it had unlocked.

Upon entering the room, the suited figure laid eyes on his target. The door shut behind him and the room became darker than the halls outside. A single light had been turned on in the whole office, it was a small elbow lamp that lit up the desk the figure sat at, and the surrounding things around it. The man sitting behind this desk was dressed in a military uniform, a patrol cap with a LtCol. symbol on it was placed on his head while a cigarette burned in the right corner of his mouth. His hands were placed on the desk with his fingers crossed, waiting patiently for the suited man to step forward. The Desk sat in the middle of the room, with a red carpet underneath it, in front of it was a chair just like the one the soldier sat on sitting across from the suited man. The uniformed man began to talk,

“So, yet again you come to me with such quandaries that not even I can explain, nor know what to do about,” The soldier finally said, the shadows of the room keeping his eyes out of the light, but his mouth just barely visible. The suited man approached him.

“Indeed, but before we begin, I must inform you,” The man pulled out the chair, then sat down in it, placing the folder on the table, “It has happened a fourth time,” He said pushing the thick folder towards the soldier.

“Oh, well in that case, let me see the intelligence your messenger said you had for me, if that is what he was referring to of course,” the soldier said as he pulled the folder over to him, and immediately opened it.

“Yes, the new findings should be right there for you to look over, unfortunately, the drone that had been surveying the area where the event happened, crashed shortly after the climax of the battle. This crash, erased all video evidence that had been recorded,” The figure said with a disappointed tone. The soldier sitting behind the desk, slowly shook his head,

“Figured as much, otherwise you would have been here much sooner,” He said slowly looking through the photos.

Minutes went by as the two men sat in utter silence. But soon, the soldier got up from his chair and stood over the information he had laid out on his desk. He looked down at the suited figure before him with a inquisitive look.

“What would you like me to do for you?” The soldier asked, his face still in the shadows of the room. The figure reached out and picked up two pictures from the jumbled mess of papers, and held them up to the soldier.

“These two girls, are to be apprehended by your men and taken away for questioning, we believe as a collective whole in the intelligence team that they are the source, or the agitators of all things that have been happening to Canterlot,” He said as the soldier took the photos out of his hand.

“I do not question your judgment, but, these are just teenagers, are they truly the center of all this, madness?” He asked looking over the two photos. The suited man began picking up different papers.

“These two individuals had not been students of Canterlot high, until very recently. Upon their appearance, something or someone followed in their wake, and thus all these strange events started happening. Their appearance can not be a coincidence,” He said, “These students here, have seemed to become friends with the two targets, their names are, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, and finally Flutter Shy,” He finished, while fishing through their bios one by one.

“They could be perhaps be second priority,” The suited man said laying out the papers on the desk again. The soldier shook his head in light disbelief.

“This is purely inconceivable, who knew the destroyer of worlds would take the form of a group of high school teenagers, I’ve seen stranger things, but this is just, laughable,” The soldier said, a smirking smile grew onto his face.

“I can assure you, this is not a, “laughing matter,” these children possess power that we’ve never seen before, you’ve seen it yourself through security tapes, they must be stopped before they really do some serious damage,” The suited man said standing up to meet the soldier face to face.

“I would like to believe that you feel the same way, Lieutenant Colonel, I want these girls in custody by the end of the month. You have two weeks to act, so you better start now, consider this mission top priority for the time being, until me or anyone else from the administrators top brass contacts you again.” The suited man said as he turned around to leave, in his right hand was a briefcase that, until now, the Colonel didn’t see with him when he came in.

“I entrust that information with you, use it wisely,” The man said as he headed for the door. When the suited figure opened the door, the hallway light finally streamed back in, in a almost angelic glow of pure white light. The man stopped and adjusted his purple tie, and dusted off his deep blue suit. His head turned back to the right, semi facing the soldier.

“Remember, do not fail me, or you will suffer unprecedented consequences,” He said before exiting the room back into the complex, the door shutting behind him, with a loud slam. Upon the figure leaving the soldier re organized the papers, and placed them neatly back into the folder again, and moved them off to the left side of his desk.

The Colonel just stared at the folder, his fingers drumming on the oak wood of his desk. Nodding lightly as if mustering enough energy to act. He moved over to a phone that was on the right side of his desk and began to dial a number. After he had finished he picked up the phone and placed it to his right ear. It began to ring, and ring, and ring for what seemed like a decade. But eventually it stopped, and a click is heard, but no one spoke. The Colonel expected this, so hearing the ringing stop he muttered a few words into the phone.

“Operation Magic Fury is in effect.” Then he hung up the phone and left his office, locking the door behind him, folder in his arm.

Chapter #2 (For luck)

09/12/2016…

25 miles outside Canterlot...

7:24PM…

Captain Logan Kelser placed the phone back onto the receiver that sat on his desk, and stared at it with widened eyes. His mind began to clutter as the words that came from the phone began to replay in his head. ‘Did I really just received the mission go ahead?’ He pondered. After what felt like forever he regained his posture and looked up to see two other soldiers standing there at attention. They had been called to his quarters earlier after news of the intel team's findings reached Kelser. Whom stood before him, was Kelsers most decorated platoon leaders he ever had the pleasure of working with, 1stLt. Clarabelle and 1stLt. Danilo. Both of these men had proved themselves worthy leaders during their strenuous time overseas fighting in foreign wars. They operated like clockwork, completing the most complex tasks in but moments.

After the men received purple hearts, both soldiers were sent back to the states for leave, and placed into the reserves. But once they returned the UITF got ahold of them and quickly worked them into their own ranks. These men with their experience meant that they were clearly the two best for the job ahead. Kelser began to speak to them.

“That was command, we’ve got the mission go ahead, we’ve rehearsed this scenario for months, and now we get to see if we can pull this off for real.” Kelser said while sitting back down into his black office chair, “I hope I can rely on you to get the mission done, you’ve never failed me before, and I hope I can count on you two to not fail me now, do I make myself clear gentlemen?” He asked leaning back into his chair and crossing his hands over his stomach.

“Yes sir!” Both voiced loudly while broadening their chests. Kelser looked at one soldier, examining him, then did the same to the other squinting his eyes judgingly. The Captain got up out of his chair and walked over to a map on the left side of his officers quarters. The map illustrated a bird's eye view of Canterlot High School, including the multiple fields, and parking lots surrounding it. Placing his left hand behind his back and instructing the two soldiers to sit down in front of him on chairs with his right hand, he began to explain the battleplan to the two commanders.

This mission, in all its complexities is a basic, snatch and bag. Due to the extensive constitution breaking spying, the intel team knew that the group of friends that the targets were associated with, are all getting together after band practice this friday for a sleepover.

The plan went as follows; Before the targets leave the school, Danilo’s first squad will arrive and assault the building clearing out any school staff members, once in custody, they’ll be brought out back and taken away on light transport. After that portion of the mission is over Clarabelle’s first squad will take their position in the front courtyard of the high school while hiding in plain sight. One team hidden in the bushes to the left and to the right, and one team hiding behind the statue.

Once the targets leave the building all teams will scatter out of hiding and create a semi circle wall, making sure the targets can’t escape from either side of the statue. Now if one or more head back inside the school, Clarabelle's second squad (entering from the rear of the building,) will intercept the rogue targets, and arrest them. Once in custody, Danilos first squad will return outfront and pick up the targets and take them out of the area. Then Danilo’s second squad will turn up, and pick up Clarabelle's first squad and drop off police uniforms for the second. Once they leave the second squad will redress, and lockdown the school to keep everyone away from the source of the chaos bursts inside the statue out front. The official story released to the public will be along the lines of a bomb threat to keep people as far away from the school as possible.

Luckily due to daylights savings time, the mission will be held in darkness to make sure that no one on the outside can see what was really going on.

The two platoon commanders tossed the battle plan around in their heads like a salad. But after a few minutes of discussing in private, away from the captain, they returned and agreed with the battle strategy. And so, the two tacticians took a dossier of the mission and left the captain's quarters and headed off to the barracks to explain the mission details to their men.

Returning to his chair, the Captain pulled out a drawer on the left side of the desk. In it was a cigar box with a big red one on the top surrounded by a green shield. Inside was a single brown cigar and a lighter that held the same patch as the box. Pulling the items out of the box and shutting the drawer, he stuck the cigar in his lips and clicked open the lighter. The flame danced to life at the edge of the pleasure stick as the captain puffed away.

Upon taking a long drag the captain leaned back in his chair and let the puff of smoke out, a few words following it,

“For luck,”

Chapter #3 (Textbook)

09/14/2016…

Canterlot High School rear parking lot...

4:17PM…

“Any moment now.” The squad sergeant mumbled, the words cut the cold air on the evening of the mission. First squad of second platoon was in hiding waiting for as many staff members to leave the building as possible before going in to clear out the rest. They hid behind a brown wooden fence with green hedges on their side, luckily due to the setting sun, and a nearby tree the whole eight man squad was invisible to passing cars. Across the nearly empty parking lot, was the target, the rear of the school. A man stepped out of the back doors and headed for his car.  After entering his vehicle, the cream colored sedan being driven by the suspected PE teacher, left the parking lot and headed off down the road, away from the waiting soldiers.

After ten more minutes of waiting, the soldiers became, annoyed,

“Yo, what the hell? We were supposed to be in their by now, what's taking the stabilization platoon so long, just blockade the road surrounding the school and keep civis away from the property, it’s not that fucking hard.” Came a soldier in the line up. Another turned around annoyed aswell, but not at the missions current status.

“Look mate, we get in there when we get in there, no use in rushing it, just calm your asshole, and wait just like the rest of us.” He spat back at the soldier next to him.

“Yeah whatever,” He grumbled back. Soon, tranquil silence overtook the area again.

The squad leaders radio broke silence and came to life with a voice speaking on the other end.

“Squad Alpha 1-1, this is Watchman, radio connection checks out green. The area has been blocked off by local law enforcement, and the rest of your squad is waiting for your staff pick up, authorization code: Sierra 12, I repeat Sierra 12, mission is a go, over,”

“Copy that Watchman, 1-1 going in, over,”

“Rodger that, use extreme caution, and non lethal takedowns, Watchman out.” The radio went silent and the squad commander turned around to his men. He nodded, and stood up off the ground, the rest of his men followed his lead.

“Were moving to the rear doors, I want full 360 visuals, leave nothing unwatched, understood?” He asked looking back. They all nodded, and began assigning looking positions. Once all angles were covered, they took out their weapons and sprinted from cover and moved towards the building. Within the second team of soldiers, each man was equipped with special weapons, two were given silenced shotguns that fired beanbags, one was given a long range tazer, and the team leader was given a  fast acting knock out gas canister launcher, for large groups of course. These men would be arresting the individuals, and acting as a sort of crowd control.

All Weapons in this fireteam were, non lethal. But the team leading the eight man assault force, were armed with real weapons. The team leader led the pack with a M4 Carbine, the two behind him held M16’s. The last man however, wasn't like the rest. He held a MK. 48 belt fed machine gun, you know, for large groups. These legit weapons were to only be used in defensive ways, only if there lives, or others were put in danger. Plus their loud, and maybe even a bit over kill.

Before reaching the doors of the building, they slowed to a stop. A security camera installed by the school board watched over the doors and windows, making it easier to catch vandalizers. This was unacceptable to the team leader, they must not be seen on camera.

“Watchman, this is Alpha 1-1, we have an issue, please advise over,” He began to speak into his radio.

“Acknowledged, please relay obstruction, over,” The radio came back.

“There appears to be a security camera operating on a closed circuit overwatching the rear of the building, requesting immediate shutdown of this camera, over,”

“Copy that, be advised, the shutting down of this camera will possibly lead to a search by security personnel, use extreme caution, you are free to intervene, Watchman out.” The radio fell dead again. The squad leader reached into a utility pocket and pulled out a silencer. He then affixed it to his rifle and aimed up at the security camera. He pulled the trigger and a bullet left the weapon and collided with the camera. Immediately the camera was shut down as a huge hole was ripped open on its top. The front lense of the camera fell off and hit the ground below.

“Good, okay,” He lowered his rifle and turned around to his team, “ You, and you,” He said pointing his finger at the two men with M16’s, “ stay here and wait for security. Intel states that only one security officer stays behind after school hours, so you are to apprehend him and stay back here, and wait for our return. Understood?” The two nodded and headed over towards the remaining husk of the security camera, and posted up.

The rest of the assault force pressed on. After clearing the entrance to the building the team began entering rooms, looking for people to apprehend. Dozens of empty dark classrooms and green steel lockers lined the walls of the school, it would take a while before they completed the search. Each room they checked they put a red sticker on, to make sure they didn’t retrace their steps on accident. After a while they finally cleared most of the school, finding nobody, not even janitorial staff.

But upon closing in on the head office a single light burned into the hallway from a classroom the soldiers headed down. It was a conference room, and inside held almost everyone they needed access to. They pressed themselves up against the wall the door was on, and slowly inched forward.

The squad leader slowly raised his head above the window in the door, and quickly looked in. They had hit the motherload, it seemed as if every member of the school was inside this room, they all sat at a long oval shaped table facing away from the door, looking at a smart board on the wall. Every target was identified, and checked off his mental checklist of personnel to find especially the vice, and head principal.

But taking on a large group like this would be challenging. So he formulated a plan.

Let's make Danilo proud,” He said quietly to his men behind him, whom were kneeling on the ground. “You, get up here, quickly,” he motioned for the team leader of the non lethal team. Once getting to him he pointed at the door,

“I want you to fire a shot of sleeping gas into that room, and once they're all down we'll rush in and snatch them all, got it?” He instructed. The soldier nodded with a slight grin on his face.

“Good,” He said. He then turned around to the rest and placed his hand over his mouth. This meant to equip their gas masks, so they did quickly, as did the launcher guy, and the squad leader. After everyone had given the thumbs up, the leader moved up to the door, and gripped the handle. He turned to the launcher and with his free hand held up three fingers to signify a count down. The launcher nodded.

“3…”

“2…”

“1…”

As quickly as humanly possible the squad leader threw open the door as wide as he could, and turned away from the gas launcher. With a subtle plunking sound a grenade left the barrel of the riot control weapon and entered the room spewing gas as it went. Once the round entered the room the sergeant quickly shut the door behind it and held it as hard as he could.

Muffled terrified screams came from the room as bangs from the faculties hands hit the door, attempting to open it as hard as they could. But after a few seconds the screaming stopped, followed by the sound of bodies falling, then silence. Once all was quiet the squad reorganized themselves, and quickly stormed the room. All the people that had just been sitting at the table moments ago, now lay in heaps on the ground with their hands near their faces as if they were trying to hold their breath. The soldiers checked their bodies, everyone had a pulse, nobody had passed to a heart attack, luckily.

“Watchman, this is 1-1, we’ve secured the targets and are extracting them as we speak, requesting pick up over,” The sergeant said over his radio.

“Copy that 1-1, good work, we are sending the pick up convoy as we speak, ETA 5 minutes, see you back at base, over.”

“Copy that Watchman, 1-1 out,” Saying this, the squad proceeded to cuff, and twist tie all the members of the staff. Once all were binded, they began to carry… and drag them outside the school.

Upon reaching the rear parking lot once more, they sat all the woozy teachers up against the brick wall of the school house. The sergeant, with his hands free once more, went to inspect the two men he had left behind. And to be expected both men hadn’t moved, and had caught the lone security guard, whom of which was kneeling on the ground with his hands cuffed behind his back, and a rifle barrel placed behind his head. Tears of dread streamed down his face as his shook in fear, his lung pattern suggested, he was absolutely beside himself. If the sergeant didn’t know any better, and were perhaps slightly less perceptive, the puddle below the man could have been his own urine if it weren’t for a discarded coffee cup to the right of him.

“Enough, let this man up,” The sergeant said with a stern voice. The two men came over to the quivering guard and picked him up forcefully and moved him over to their leader. The guard quickly looked up at the masked man in terror as his pupils became smaller than they already were as his eyes widened.

“Please, I, I… I don't want to die.. Please I have a wife and two beautiful children!” He said stuttering away. The sergeant shook his head.

“Were not going to kill you, we just need you to be quiet, and comply willingly, you think you can do that young man?” He asked him, his deep voice distorted by the gas mask he still had on. The guard nodded faster than anyone had seen before now.

“Yes, yes of course, anything you say…” He quivered back.

“Good,” The squad leader said. Pulling out a black blindfold he quickly tied it behind the guards head. One of the soldiers behind him, after the wrap was tightened whispered in his left ear,

“This fold comes off before it's supposed to, i'll shoot you myself, and tell your wife and kids that you died in a car accident, you reading me loud and clear fuckhead?” The guard nodded as he began to shake even more now.

“Excellent, now shut up and do as I say,” Just as the soldier said this the sound of loud roaring engines began to be heard. Suddenly down the road came two HUMVEEs and an M35 transport truck. The vehicles whipped into the parking lot and then circled around and stopped closer to the assault team.

A soldier in the lead vehicle stuck his head out of the window and yelled out,

“Alright let's go, we’ve got a schedule to up hold. Pack them in and lets get the fuck out of here!” He said tapping the door of the transport.

Like lightning the soldiers picked up and heaved the bodies of the school staff into the flatbed of the transport truck, sitting them upright and keeping them secure. After getting the guard in last they slid the door of the bed up and locked it into place and gave the rear of the truck a few ferm slams. The sergeant headed around to the lead vehicle and entered it, sliding his Carbine down next his legs and slamming the door shut behind him. He turned over to a radio installed in the transport and picked it up.

“Convoy, turn it over, we're rolling out, maintain dispersion of forty meters between vehicles.” He said then quickly hung up the radio as the convoy sprung to life as they exited the parking lot and headed back up the road.

The squad leader now reunited with the rest of his squad felt complete, as such was his part of the mission. He leaned into his radio and began to speak,

“Watchman, this is 1-1, secondary targets are secure and are on transport, school is clear, over,”

“Copy that 1-1, report back to checkpoint bravo, we’ll send in the second squad once you're back, over.”

“Copy that, 1-1 out.”

Chapter #3 (Worry worry worry)

09/14/2016…

Checkpoint Bravo...

4:56PM…

“Copy that Watchman, 2-1 moving out ASAP, over.” Clarabelle came over the radio. Checkpoint Bravo, a makeshift command center built in the center of a four way intersection, was bustling with excitement. The news of the mission going faster than expected put the soldiers in good spirits. The lieutenant stood up from a folding chair in the deployment area and walked over to a mass of men, that all were waiting for news from the mission staff. He called them together in front of him and began to explain the situation. Clarabelle stood atop a podium above the rest of them men with his arms behind his back as they amassed below him.

“Alright, listen up and listen closely. Danilos first squad cleared out early due to a lucky break, which means we have more time, so our portion of the mission has been pushed to now. Both squads mount up, and get ready to move,” Clarabelle looked down to a specific soldier, “Sergeant, i’ll relieve command to you, I’m trusting you. The fate of the world is resting on your shoulders, don’t choke out there,” He said sternly. The sergeant nodded.

“Yes sir!” He sounded off back.

“Gentlemen good luck, mount up.” The lieutenant said. The men saluted and turned heel toward a pre organized convoy of HUMVEEs and and a transport truck. The group split into two halves, both squads, one just was just three HUMVEEs mounted with heavy caliber machine guns on top, and the other was pretty much the same thing, but one of the HUMVEEs was replaced with a transport truck. The men grabbed their weapons and took their places.

“Watchman this is 2-1, requesting depart to mission, over.” The sergeant came over the radio from the lead HUMVEE.

“Watchman here, mission is a go, request granted, good luck, over.”

“Copy that, 2-1 out.” He hung the radio back on its receiver.

He turned to his driver and nodded,

“Let's get this show started,” He reached down and charged his rifle.

5:15PM…

The Platoon drove as fast as they could towards the school, taking up both lanes of the two way street. The sergeant looked out the passenger side window and saw the second squad lead vehicle, matching their speed perfectly, for it wasn't a HUMVEE he saw, but another soldier, the men he needed to protect through his impeccable leadership skills that everyone here said he had. They felt confident, but the sergeant had his doubts. He wasn't sure how this was gonna play out. He remembered a motto he heard a long time ago that stuck with him through his duty as a soldier, “Nothing ever goes as planned, so never expect the planned, but only the unexpected.”

Soon the dreaded school came into view and a wave of anxiety overtook, not only the sergeant but the rest of the soldiers in the convoy. But the mission was already in place, and the world needed saving. And they were the only ones that could save it.

Picking up the radio the Sergeant spoke into it,

“First squad hang back, let second squad take the lead,” He spoke as the first line began to slow as the column on the right side rode faster.

“Second squad, set up behind the school, do it fast, understood?” He requested.

“Roger that sir, right away,” Came a voice over the radio. The second squad pulled off from the road into the rear parking lot as the main force passed them heading towards the front of the school. With a quick left turn they found themselves in front of the building. With pounding feet from the vehicles the men took to their positions as the convoy hid from plain sight just slightly back the way they came.

The sergeant placed his back on the rear side of the Canterlot High statue and waited for their window.

“2-1, this is 2-2, we are in position and standing by,” came his radio.

“Copy that 2-2, stand by, out.”

The leader nodded, soon it would be all over.

Inside the school, things were a lot less tense, but maybe not for long. The group of friends that everyone in Canterlot had known to love or fear were practicing their musical skills. The main focus of this practice, was maintaining their ability to play and sing. Seeing how they haven’t had a gig in a while after the incident at Camp Everfree. The group of friends made an agreement not to abandon their musical side and keep their options open. But Starlight wasn't so sure about this agreement. When the group played together, or expressed their traits that made them, well, them, they would begin to change into their pony human hybrid form.

And Starlight still wasn't sure about the whole thing. Yeah it gave them superhuman powers and they, up until this point have used those powers for good. It makes everyone's life better and definitely has made fighting evil easier, but what about those they have affected over the time of the powers existence in this world. Surely someone hasn't been happy about the mass hysteria that has spread amongst the people of the land.

But their was just nothing she could do, their powers were with them until the end, and as much as she disliked having them, she would never be rid of hers. But their was one thing that would never falter because of these powers. The friendships that she had created with the students of Canterlot High. Never more would she worry about losing those she holds so dear, and those around her. Of course time, would be the only factor that could drive the friends apart and she knew this. That is why, every waking moment she made sure to include her friends, to ever increase the bonds with them.

As a guitar sounded off at the end of the song they were practicing, the group stood in amazement, their talents hadn’t faltered a single bit. And they could only thank themselves for that. Off in front, on the bleachers of the music room came a lone clapper. It was the Twilight of this world whom, unlike her friends had no musical talent of her own, or at least unlike her friends. She would support them nevertheless, cause she was still apart of their team no matter how she was. She stood from the bleachers and walked up the group whom of which were still experiencing the aftereffects of their pony powers.

“Excellent absolutely excellent, if not the best yet!” She exclaimed extending her arms down and clasping her hands together. The group began to lower their instruments and walk off the stage.

“Awe thanks Twilight, ya’ll really mean it?” Came a blushed Applejack with a thousand yard smile.

“Of course! I would never lie about something as amazing as that display!” She beckoned back as she reached the main floor of the music room as the others exited the stage to the same level.

“Well if ya really mean it, then it must be true!” Came Rainbow Dash with a sly smirk, crossing her arms in a exaggerated manner. Sunset was the first off the stage as she moved over to the front set of the bleachers where everyone's backpack was and grabbed hers.

“Anyway, we need to be off, the school will be closing soon, and I’d like to get this weekend started,” She said as she was joined by everyone else.

“Awe yeah let's get ready to PARTY!” Came an excited Pinkie Pie from the back of the group.

“Easy Pinkie it’s just a sleep over darling, no need to exaggerate,” Came a posh sounding Rarity. The group, after gathering their things headed up towards the exit of the room. But suddenly Sunset remembered something.

“Hey Twilight, where's the janitor?” Sunset asked at the edge of the door. “I thought you said he would be watching over our instruments for the weekend?” Twilight turned back to the dark stage, nodded a little.

“Yeah you’re right, I’m not sure where he is,” She began scratching her head as the others began leaving the room.

“Ah’ wouldn’t worry about  it twi’ the school's gonna be closed, no one is gonna touch our stuff, now come on, before were locked in like our gear.” Came Applejack again.

Nodding she turned heel and left the music room, while Sunset still questioned why the janitor had not come. But as she entered the hallway, that thought quickly dissipated, as another took over her head.

“What's that smell, smells like sulfur, and what's with the weak fog?” Asked Sunset again. Twilight stepped forward, for the whole group had stopped in their tracks. The school was completely silent, which was normal, but not like this. It was dead quiet. Twilight began sniffing in the air where the mixture still linger a bit. She squinted her eyes a bit. But couldn’t think of a cause or reason for the smoke being their.

“This isn’t smoke, or fog, it’s some kind of mixture, I want to say, Zinc Chloride, with a hint of something else I can’t put my finger on,” Twilight was a geek, nerd, dork, any of the above, but she let it known that her vast knowledge could help anyone in anything.

“What does that mean?” Came Fluttershy that was clear off put by the silence of the school.

“I’m not sure, and I’m not gonna wait around to find out, let's go girls.” She said waving her hand towards the front door, of which they were close to. Senset was even more worried now, everything seemed off in one way or another, but it still wasn't in her mind anything to worry about, at least not yet anyway.
