Applejack, Pinkie, Rainbow and Blades all lay on the seats as Fluttershy tended their wounds. They were badly hurt in the fight so they were not going to be able to help us now. Fluttershy’s face was still burnt from the laser shot she took. I walked back over to her and knelt down to her level.
“You okay Fluttershy?”
“Um.... yeah...” she said with a saddened squeal, looking to the floor.
“It’s okay Fluttershy...” I lifted her chin up with my hand. “You’ll be fine. I won’t let anything hurt you anymore. I promise...”
“Um... Thanks...”
“Dracos, stay with the ponies and the elements. Me, Liam and Major Hockey will go on top and stop those transports”
“Okay Human. I will remain here” replied Dracos.
I climbed up out the hatch along with Liam and Major Hockey. Around the transport there were four fast attack vehicles that looked a lot like warthogs from Halo except they were more square and themed to Luna (Black and purple with sparkles). Each had three ponies mounted on them: One driver, one gunner and one passenger with an assault rifle. In the distance we could see transports inbound on our position. They were hostile. I drew my assault rifle to prepare to repel them. The gunners of the jeeps all turned to fire at them. We were not yet in the Ever Free Forest but in fact were crossing the land between Canterlot and Pony ville. To avoid any civilian casualties we would most likely take a detour around Pony ville. I mean go right round Pony ville, not even getting within sights range. No one else needed to get hurt in this war.

“Incoming!” warned one of the gunners. We all opened fire on the transports that were closing in. The first burst into flames and crashed down on the plains. The second came up beside us and a dragon warrior began to fire the laser turret at us. Me and the other two hit the deck as laser fire attacked the transports roof. One of the pony gunners managed to take out the dragon gunner and the laser fire stopped bombing us. The transport lifted itself above us and dropped two dragon warriors onto our transport. Our escort vehicles were now distracted by more incoming transports so they couldn’t help us for now. These dragon warriors that had jumped on our transport had armour and energy swords. Elite dragon soldiers? Royal guards maybe?
“Meh, I’m not scared of them” said Major Hockey as he casually reloaded his rifle.
“Yeah Boy! Time to fight some noobs!” taunted Liam.
I fired my assault rifle at the first one but he just ran and knocked it out of my hands. He then tried to slash me with his sword but I managed to dodge it. Liam then sprayed him with a few bullets before having the end of his gun cut off by the second warrior. I then returned my attention to the one I was fighting. He tried to stab me so I jumped back and drew my knife. He slashed at me and I blocked it with my knife. He tried again then kicked me in the stomach before kicking me a second time, launching me off the side. I grabbed the edge just before I fell. He approached the edge and rose his arm to stab my hand with his sword. Before he could I threw my knife into his left eye and jumped up to kick him. Me and Hockey were now back to back as we faced our own opponent.
“Can you handle him Hockey?”
“Of course I can...” He then jumped forward and punch the dragon warrior “Falcon Punch!!”
The visually impaired dragon warrior moved to stab me again. I countered him by ducking under his sword, punching him in the chin and sliding my leg through his legs, tripping him up. He rolled back to get back up on his feet. He tried to slash multiple times but I dodged the first, jumped over the second and kicked him before the third slash. He tried stabbing again but I grabbed the handle, back handed him and pulled the sword from his claws. He tried to scratch me with his claw but I grabbed his wrist with my left hand and swung round to elbow him. He then pushed me back and drew a laser pistol.
“Rifle Now!” I yelled.
“Rifle!” replied Major Hockey as he threw me his rifle.
I side flipped as I grabbed the rifle, dodging the laser shots from the dragon warrior’s laser pistol. I landed on my feet again and strafed towards the dragon soldier. He tried to shoot me again but I smacked his aim sideways and then hit him in the stomach with the rifle. I then hit him again in the chin then sprayed a whole clip into his face violently before spinning round to kick him violently off the transport, taking back my knife from his eye as he fell. I quickly moved to help out Major Hockey who was having trouble with the second dragon warrior. The dragon warrior kicked Hockey back then swung at me with his sword. I dodged but then took the dragon warriors foot to the face. My helmet stopped me taking any real damage but I was knocked over by the force of the kick. Before he could stab me Hockey jumped on his back and stabbed him in the neck. The dragon warrior gave out a massive cry before pulling the Major over his shoulder. I tried to get up but he stood on me to prevent that. He then went to stab the Major.
“FIRE EXTINGUISHER!!!” yelled Liam just before using a fire extinguisher to attack the dragon warrior. The yellow chemical from the canister began to corrode the dragon warrior. We could see little gas trails coming off him as his scales began to corrode and oxidise. He began to yell in pain as his scales and skin began to react and corrode away. Me and the Major got away from him. Liam the jumped up and smacked the dragon warrior in the back of the head with the extinguisher and then kicked him off the APC.
“I can’t believe that actually worked” I said in surprise.

I was so focused on the fight I had forgotten about the inbound transports. After a quick look around I could see that we still had all four jeeps protecting us. They were firing at some enemy transports that were coming in from the right. There were also more transports and fighters coming from behind us and a few enemy fast attack vehicles were rolling up on our tails. The enemy buggys were small, black with red trim and wedge shaped. They also had wheels instead of hovering like their tanks did, which I thought was strange. The driver was in a small cock pit in the front and a large machine gun took up the flat surface behind it. They were also closing in fast. The gunners opened fire on the enemy buggys. I picked up my assault rifle again and fired also. The enemy returned fire with their heavy machine guns. Me and the Major hit the deck again for cover and returned fire. One of the buggys were damaged by heavy gun fire as it approached the APC. The driver jumped from his seat and onto the APC just as his vehicle exploded. He tried to climb up and onto the APC. I aimed downward and fired at him. He fired his laser pistol back at me and I pulled my head in for cover. I re-took aim and fired again. This time I got a head shot on the bugger and he fell off the back. Another buggy came up on the side and fired at us. We got down for cover. I got up to shoot but I was hit first multiple times. Before the enemy’s gun could finish me, one of Luna’s jeeps had rammed the enemy buggy into the side of the APC. The enemy vehicle took some heavy damage and was forced to pull back.
“Warning! Multiple suit breaches. User has sustained heavy injuries. Attempting to repair”

We were now approaching the Ever Free Forest. It was dark and gloomy, the sky above it was very cloudy and it was raining lightly.We were just about to pass into it, enemy fighters and vehicles still hot on our tail.
“Fighters!” yelled one of the pony gunners. The APC’s machine guns began to fire at them, as did the jeep gunners. The fighters passed by, firing machine gun bullets everywhere. One of the pony drivers were hit and the jeep went out of control. It crashed into a tree and exploded as the enemy fast attack vehicles passed it by.

We were all driving down a dirt road really fast. We must have been going at least sixty miles per hour. One jeep drove in front of the APC while the other two drove down the side returning fire on the enemy buggys behind us. Three enemy buggys were behind us firing at the APC and jeeps, trying to get us to stop. Another enemy buggy drove out from the tree line. This one was the same as the others but instead of a machine gun it had multiple rocket launchers. More fighters were inbound aswell.
“We got more fighters inbound! and a Rocket buggy!” I warned the gunners in my ear piece. “How the fuck are we going to compete with all that firepower?!?”
“Don’t worry, our jeeps can handle it” replied one of the gunners. “Titanium enforced alloy, 14mm anti-air armour piercing chain gun, all terrain, flank kicking machine of mayhem!”
“Well lets hope that’s enough to stop them... Twilight, how long till we get there?”
“About ten minutes!”
The fighters past over, spraying the road with bullets. We all got our heads down to take cover from the bullets. The gunners of the jeeps then returned fire on the buggys. The enemy rocket buggy drove up and fired a few rockets at our jeep to the right. The jeep swerved out of control for a few second but the driver managed to save it. The gunner then fired into the enemy’s windscreen and killed the driver, causing it to swerve out and crash.
“Transport! Watch out!” yelled a panicked voice.
An enemy transport was flying beside our convoy in the air and it’s gunner began to spray lasers all over the place. The front jeep moved to attack the pilot and the transport soon pulled away. As it pulled away a few dragon warriors jumped out. They had jet packs! They flew behind us with their jet packs and fired lasers at our APC. The buggys closed in on us which distracted the jeep gunners from the jet pack dudes.
“Jet pack?!? Ergh! I want a jet pack!” demanded Liam in a childish tone.
The jet pack warriors flew close and tried to shoot us. We all returned fire. The jet pack warriors dropped behind the APC out of our line of sight. I looked around in confusion before one flew up beside me and kicked my weapon out of my hands. I watched as my assault rifle flew off down the road, never to be seen again. Major Hockey went to shoot but a second jet pack warrior kicked his rifle off the APC aswell. I looked back to the one that kicked mine and he was swinging at me with his sword. I jumped back to dodge. The dragon warrior walked slowly towards me with an evil grin. Major Hockey and Liam were getting beat up by the other two. They had finished and I was the last one standing.
“One against three? That’s hardly fair”
“Too bad Human... Surrender the elements or die!” commanded the middle one with a frown.
“I choose.....” I contemplated my choices for a second. I was doing it on purpose to agitate them. “What were the options again? I forgot”
“Don’t toy with me Human!!”
“Toy? I thought you were a dragon? A stupid one but still a dragon nether the less...”
“ARGH!!” He was pissed off now. I just laughed as he swung at me aggressively with his sword.
“Op! You missed!”
He swung again and I dodge again.
“Hay. Now I’m over here! C’mon! You suck at this!”
“Argh! Fuck you Human!!” he yelled as he pulled out his laser pistol. At that moment I drew a grenade and threw it at him. He pulled the trigger and his shot hit the grenade. The grenade exploded in front of him and he was blown off the APC.
“Bye!!” I said with a chuckle. I was then kicked over by the other dragon warriors. They swung at me with their sword I managed to roll over to dodge. They both approached as they prepared to finish me. I tried to get up but I couldn’t do it fast enough. Luckily one of the pony gunners took a few shoots at them, killing one and stunning the other. I quickly got up and approached the last dragon warrior. Just before he regained focus, I stabbed his jet pack and grinned at him evilly. He looked at me in fear just before I twisted my knife and caused his jet pack to ignite and blast him into the sky uncontrollably.
“Yeah! Have some of that you fucker!”

I looked back at the battle between the buggys and jeeps. More buggys were on approach along with two armoured ground transports with the same black, red trim paint job. These transport had ‘Chaos Elites’ written down the side.
“He really wants these fucking elements don’t he...” I mumbled to myself.
Rarity climbed out the hatch and levitated Liam and the Major inside the APC.
“We need to take them out before we get to the base. We can’t let Discord know where we will hide the elements!” instructed Rarity. “Twilight has ordered the driver to take a detour until we can take them out”
“Alright! I’ll handle the buggys, you just cover me!”
“Of course”
“Alright. I count five buggys and two transports. one buggy leading the...” I was mumbling to myself as I waited for the enemy vehicles to get close. I approached the edge of the APC and drew both my SMGs. The buggys got closer and I prepared to jump.
“Three... Two.... One!”
I jumped on one and landed on the first buggy. I fired my SMG into the driver and ran up and jumped to the next just as it went out of control and crashed. The one I had jumped on started to swerve as he tried to get me off his buggy. One of the other buggys came up the left and tried to shoot me off the top so I fired a few rounds and took out the driver. His buggy swerved and crashed into the one I was standing on. I nearly lost my balance as I tried to jump off. I screwed up my jump and nearly fell onto the road. Luckily I managed to grab the edge of one of the transports. The second transport came up the side and moved close to crush me. Both transports moved towards each other and began to crush me between them. My suits integrity began to fall apart as I became more squished between the transports. I heard some machine gun fire before the transport crushing me went out of control and crashed into one of the buggys. I looked over to Rarity who was firing her machine gun at the enemy vehicles. There was only one buggy and one transport left. I climbed up onto the enemy transport and two heavily armoured dragon warriors climbed out the back. They were in completely sealed suits, a lot like mine, and wielded duel energy swords. They definitely matched the title of Chaos Elites. Black and blood red trim steel armoured suits, blue energy swords and blood red writing on their chest plate saying “Death to our Enemies!”
“Sorry boys. I’d like to stay and fight but I got some elements to protect” I said as I drew a grenade. I pulled the pin and they both charged at me. I dodged one and jump kicked the other before hurling myself off the transport, dropping the grenade as I did. The grenade exploded as I landed on the final buggy. The transport was launched towards the buggy. I acted quickly and turned to jump back on the APC. Just as the transport hit the buggy, I jumped for the APC. An explosion along with the transport husk pursued me as I flew through the air towards the APC. Everything went in slow motion as I reached to grab the edge of the APC. I wasn’t going to make it! I missed the edge by a fingers length. My heart stopped for a second as I thought “Oh Shit!”. Then suddenly my hand was grabbed by both of Rarity’s hooves. I looked up at her in absolute terror.
“You okay Courage?” she asked.
“Erm... yeah... Shit that was close. Thanks Rarity”
“I told you I’d always be here for you” she replied with a smile.
She pulled me up onto the APC. I checked to see if our jeeps were okay. We must have lost one at some point because I only counted two. At least they managed to take down the enemy fighters.

Me and Rarity climbed back inside the APC. I walked to the gunner seat and looked over the gunners shoulder at his screen. We were now only two minutes from base. I suddenly heard a scream from Fluttershy.
“Ah! Help!”
I turned to see Dracos with the element case and a pistol to Fluttershy’s head. Me, Rarity and Twilight drew our weapons and aimed at him.
“Dracos!” I shouted. “What are you doing?!?”
“The elements are mine! With these out of the picture I can finally take Discord’s place as ruler of my people! I knew he would go for the elements and I knew you ponies would stop him. I just joined you so I could get an opportunity like this. Without these, Discord will never get the power he needs to win”
He then hit the back door panel and the back door of the APC opened. He backed up slowly as a transport approached from the sky.
“What’s going on in there?” asked one of the jeep ponies through my ear piece. I ignored him and focused my attention on Dracos.
“Let Fluttershy go!” I demanded protectively. “There’s no escape for you!”
He then jabbed Fluttershy harder with the pistol and backed even further away. Fluttershy was squealing in fear.
“Why do this Dracos? We can help you defeat Discord and you can lead your people as our allies!”
“Allies?” he then laughed. “Ah ha ha! I don’t want to be allies with a bunch of ponies! My people are destined to take over the galaxy! That’s why Discord created us! I only joined you so I can take Discords place. You didn’t believe any of that freedom crap did you?!? Ah ha ha... Pathetic...”
The enemy transport approached and hovered sideways by the APC’s ramp. Dracos backed away towards it but then one of our jeeps rammed the transport away. It was hovering that low stupidly enough. Dracos turned to see what happened and I quickly dashed into action and attacked him, freeing Fluttershy as I did. He turned back to me and slashed his claws at me. I dodged and punched him in the chin. I moved to attack again but he hit me in the back of the neck with some kind of karate chop. My neck filled with a burning sensation and I dropped to the floor. I couldn’t feel my arms or legs. My neck hurt like a total bitch. It was unbearable. I saw Dracos jump for his transport with the element case. The jeeps moved to fire at the transport but it flew away before they could take it down. I soon passed out as I laid on the APC floor. It felt like I was dieing instead of just passing out. It was soo painful. My last thoughts were of the pain I felt from Dracos’ betrayal... and of the searing pain in my neck...
