Prologue
"In the beginning, the world was chaos, the sun scorched half the earth, while the moon's icy grip sucked the life out of the other half. One day the great terror struck, at first we thought he would help us, but we were terribly wrong. We prayed to the sun and moon who glared down on our unholy world. Them, in all their holiness, answered our prayers at last and sent down in all their might, stones of great power, at first we had no idea how to use them, but one day the chosen two came who could use their power. The eldest came along with her younger sister, she and her sister confronted the great terror and turned it to stone. For, the next hundred years we lived in harmony, under our rule. However, all things come to pass, on her death bed my older sister was told something by the stones, and she shared it in her last words to me. She said, 'They have told me, about a birth, of a great being, she will be of all races, wings of a pegasus, horn of a unicorn, and strength of an earth pony. She will be magic manifested, the will of the gods, all that is good, she will be many things, and do great deeds, but she must not be tempted, but the great terror. She will,' those were the last words my sister said, she wasn't even able to finish before her soul left and joined with the stars." The now soul monarch stated with great sorrow, in her speech to the public, "I know in this time of great need, it will be hard for everyone. We must be strong. Thank you for listening."
The unicorn turned and left the balcony. She heard them yelling behind her. She sighed, tears welling up, "They must be strong, but alas I must be stronger, for the both of us sister."
