This story takes place many decades after the events in "A coin with a story"

As Twilight and her friends grew, so did their deeds become more memorable. It didn't take long for Equestria to realize their significance and see that they were simply irreplaceable. As the years went on, they eventually all ascended and each became princesses in charge of their own aspects.

But as time went on, the troubles of Equestria seemed to only lessen, whereas their own personal troubles only became more and more worthy of attention... and so, they began to slowly grow apart from one another. Even though their friendship would still always remain strong, they simply never seemed to have enough time to set aside for visiting old friends.

Fortunately, as the years went on, the six ponies remained young and strong, thanks to the alicorn blessing... However, time had not been kind to a certain old friend of theirs...

For a few decades now, Inhio had not even spoken to any of them, let alone, been on any adventures with them...

As the old man feels his time drawing near, he calls out to his past friends in hopes of having just one last journey together.
