A direct sequal to "Mass Core".
Five years have passed since the Citadel narrowly escaped obliteration at the hooves of the Equestrian navy. In that time, careful political maneuvering has slowly begun the difficult process of forging an alliance between the Council and Equestria.
Until a damaged Crystal Empire starship slams into the Citadel. It's pilot desperately appeals to the Council to help defend his nation against a new and unimaginable threat.
Two ships are dispatched to investigate. One from Council space headed by the anti-Equestrian revolutionary Starlight Glimmer, and the other led by the disgraced Captain Scootaloo of the Equestrian Navy.
But what the find- -and who- -is far worse than either of them could have expected.
