Chapter 1: Intro

It was a peaceful day in Equestria. There was nothing going on in Ponyville. Well, apart from a certain disaster that was soon brought upon them.

Twilight, on the other hoof, decided to continue her studies in her library when something caught her attention. A book she had never seen before or even knew existed. The book was called "The Fallen Demi-God".  She decided to read it even though she did not believe that there ever was something called a "demi-god".  Soon, a purple-scaled and green spiked baby dragon named Spike came into the room.

"Hey Twilight, whatcha reading?" Spike asked.

"Oh, it's just some old book I found laying around here." Twilight replied, never looking away from the book.

"Well, what's it about?" Spike asked, almost regretting it immediately.  Please don't say science.

"It’s about something called a 'demi-god'. I honestly don’t know why everypony thinks it's exciting to read about something that isn’t even real." Twilight said.

"You just don’t get it." The baby dragon said.

"No Spike. I don’t." Twilight responded, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

--------------------

Meanwhile on Gaea…

In a desert somewhere was a lone, angry demi-god named Asura fighting off many nightmarish creatures – the Gohma.

The Gohma are beasts of impurity, corrupted by the dark spirit of Gaea, the Gohma Vlitra.  These beasts were once normal creatures of Gaea, but now they only seek to destroy all human life on Gaea as it is the will of the Gohma Vlitra to exterminate humanity.  The Gohma bore a frightening look, their bodies black as space with blood red veins all over their bodies, and their eyes completely orange with slight glow.

Asura was used to fighting these vile beasts. Like the other Guardian Generals, he had mechanical arms that were seemingly indestructible and looked like they could easily destroy a planet, a boon that helped make short work of the Gohma.  Asura showed them no mercy as the Gohma would do the same. He punched each one of them to death as more and more came.  He grabbed one of them and tore its head clean off, throwing the lifeless corpse at another Gohma and crushed the decapitated head with his bare hands.

"WHO'S NEXT!?" Asura screamed at his enemies.

A Gohma Howler, a gorilla looking Gohma, launched itself towards Asura with its arms up in the air ready to strike. Asura quickly countered this attack by grabbing the Howler's arms and then threw it towards a larger group of Howlers.

Asura’s anger grew with each strike, making him even more powerful than he already was.  After what seemed like hours of fighting, Asura burst into flames, creating a giant ball of fire from Asura's rage.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!" Asura cried to the heavens as the ball of flames rapidly grew and vaporized any Gohma unfortunate enough to be caught in it.

After the flames stopped and all of the Gohma were “purified”, Asura decided to head back home.  With a running start, Asura launched himself high into the sky by punching the ground with great force. Soon afterward, Asura found himself at his home, with his lovely wife Durga and their daughter, Mithra, waiting for him outside.  One of the Guardian Generals, who was also Asura’s brother-in-law, was waiting as well.

"What do you want, Yasha?" Asura said in an angry tone, as he usually does.

"Asura, I came here to tell you personally that we must go into battle once more." Yasha said, in a clam tone that was almost completely opposite of Asura’s tone.

"Why?" Asura asked.

"The Gohma Vlitra, it’s… it’s back." Yasha answered, his voice uneasy.

Asura was shocked. “WHAT!?”

The Eight Guardian Generals had fought the Gohma Vlitra a thousand years ago, managing to successfully subdue it at the time.  While it wasn’t completely destroyed, Asura knew that the Vlitra shouldn’t be back already.

When the silence from the shock ran its course, Asura spoke.  "When do we start?" he asked, his tone angrier than before.

"Not long now. We expect it to attack tomorrow." Yasha told him.

Tomorrow? Asura thought to himself. "Who will be the priestess?" he asked, despite already having an idea of who it would be.

"I'm afraid it will have to be Mithra.” Yasha answered, his voice clam and neutral even though he didn’t want his own niece to be the priestess as well, but both he and Asura knew Mithra was the only one capable of being the next priestess.

Mithra would be collecting mantra from the prayers of the mortals. Mantra was the only thing that kept all demi-gods alive, and the more mantra they had, the stronger they became. With enough mantra, a demi-god can even get new forms that gave them incredible power, becoming much stronger, faster, and deadlier than ever before.  Mantra is also used for powering their super weapon on the head of the Karma Fortress, the Brahmastra.

"At any rate, we need to get ready; the Gohma could come at any moment." Yasha said.

"Right." Asura responded. Soon…

Asura could not sleep that night. He could not stop thinking of how the battle would go. Would they subdue Vlitra again? Would they finally kill it? Would Vlitra win and destroy humanity? He did not know. All he knew was that tomorrow, he and the other seven generals would do their best to kill it.

--------------------

Meanwhile, back at Ponyville…

Twilight had been reading the book for what seemed like ages. She was fascinated by the theory that a demi-god could potentially destroy almost anything and they fought something called the “Gohma”. Twilight yawned, knowing it was time for her to go to sleep.

I'll read it some more tomorrow, she thought.  With that, Twilight closed the book and drifted off into a blissful sleep, waiting for a new day to dawn so she can read more of the book. Little did she know that tomorrow will hold quite the surprise for all of Equestria, as a certain angry demi-god would be coming down crashing into their lives…

Chapter 2: The wheels of betrayel

The morning sunlight from Celestia's sun shined on Twilight's face.  She woke up and immediately thought of the book.

The book can wait. First I need some breakfast.

She walked over to the kitchen where Spike had already started eating.

“Good morning Spike.” Twilight said with a smile on her face.

“Morning Twilight, I already made some breakfast for you.” Spike said as he poured some coffee into a cup and handed it over to Twilight.

“Thanks Spike. This is why you will always be my number one assistant!” Twilight said with an even bigger smile.

Spike blushed. “Thanks.”

They started eating and when Twilight finished, she went directly over to the book… only to find that it was missing.

Twilight panicked.  “Uhh… Spike!? Do you know where that book I was reading yesterday is?”

“What book do you mean?” Spiked asked, hinting in his voice that they lived in a LIBRARY.

“There was a book here called 'The Fallen Demi-God', I was reading it yesterday.” Replied Twilight.

“Ooooh, THAT book. I thought you didn’t believe in that stuff?” Spike said almost accusingly.

“I don’t! I was just… wondering where it was.” Twilight said defensively.

She sighed.  Oh well, it's not like it was THAT interesting… Twilight rolled her eyes and began to head to her desk to continue her studi-

“I found it!” Spike said. As a reward for his efforts, Spike almost got a hoof to the face as Twilight almost ran into him in a burst of excitement.

“Where is it?!” Twilight said, excited that Spike found the book.

“I was talking to myself!” Spike said. A look of embarrassment ran across his face as soon as he noticed what he just said.

“… You talk to yourself?” Twilight asked as she giggled, barely holding back all of her laughter.

Spike sighed. "Yeah yeah. Just get it out of your system."

Twilight burst into laughter, but was quickly subdued as Twilight realized something and began to make an annoyed expression. Spike noticed this and didn’t feel like arguing with her.

“Uuuhh… gotta go!” Spike said as he went straight for the door… only to be stopped by a purple field of magic and was quickly sent back towards an annoyed Twilight.

“Spike!” Twilight said in an annoyed tone.

Spike sighed. This is gonna be a long day...

---------------

Meanwhile, in space…

(Fitting music.)

The Eight Guardian Generals were fighting a very gruesome fight against the Gohma in space.  Huge amounts of pale white and gold ships were going up against giant, squid-like Gohma called Gohma Lashers and giant rock space ships that were the Gohma Carriers.  The fighting has been going on for hours, and no sign of ceasing has been seen.  Out of one of the white and gold ships that made up the demi-god fleet were three of the Eight Guardian Generals, effortlessly destroying Gohma Carriers. They all went on their own soon as more and more Gohma closed in on them.

“FOR THE CAUSE!”

The biggest of all of the Guardian Generals, Wyzen raised his single giant mechanical arm and began to thrust it down upon the Carrier.

“I will root out ALL evil with these. GREAT. FISTS!!!” Wyzen said as he turned around after destroying the Gohma Carrier with a single punch.

Meanwhile, Augus, another one of the Guardian Generals and Asura’s mentor, landed on top of a Gohma Lasher as a Gohma Stinger and a Gohma Glider, a flying manta ray and flying lion fish respectively, closed in on him.

“Time to have some FUN!” Augus grabbed the handle of his katana, ready to kill the two Gohma that were on him.

“Looks like you want to die first!” He said as he killed both Gohma without unsheathing his katana.  A gleeful grin crossed his face when he saw his next target.

Augus grabbed the sheath of his katana this time.  “Lucky for you. I can make that happen!!!” He spun the sheath around and stabbed it into the very Lasher he was standing on, splitting the helpless squid-like Gohma to pieces.  He jumped onto a piece of its dead corpse as he let out a laugh that could haunt a man's dreams forever and held his katana up in triumph.

“Follow me!” Yasha commanded as he was avoiding the tentacles of a Lasher.  “Drive a wedge between the enemies forces!” Yasha told the other generals, but they did not listen to him and continued to fight.  Yasha sliced one of the tentacles coming at him with his hand and quickly cut the Lasher into pieces with his bare hands, a blue light emanating from the sliced Gohma.  He saw four more, and he extended his leg out as he dived right into the first Lasher, coming out of the other end and cutting it into pieces.  He did this to the other three in the same single kick with the same blue light cutting down every single one of them.

And then there was the fourth of the Guardian Generals who had just punched one of the fish Gohma on the side and was not giving up until he got through it, making it explode in the process. That man was known as Asura.

“WORTHLESS SCUM!  I’LL KILL YOU ALL!!” Asura screamed as he charged at more Gohma, targeting them and shooting them down with blasts of pure energy.  After a while, Asura decided to charge down at a Carrier, seething rage pouring out of him.  He punched the nose of the rocky ship and went down along the side, punching it all the way down.  Near the end of the ship, he delivered a single punch and made the Carrier explode.  Asura immediately looked for his next target.  “WHO’S NEXT!?” He yelled as he charged into the fray with the other Guardian Generals in the field.

The fight went on and on and on.

***

“Oh, how beautiful life is at its end. True beauty only manifests itself in death!” Sergei, the fifth and most flamboyant of the generals, said as he viewed the battle from one of the ships while making dramatic hand gestures.

“It would be nice if one could rest for a bit… I do believe I'm getting too old for this.” The sixth general said. His name was Kalrow, and just like Sergei, he was in his ship watching the battle, floating and spinning around on his staff.

“You two should be concerned with the task at hand!” The seventh Guardian General scolded the two other Generals on screen.  This was Olga, the only female Guardian General.

“Olga,” Sergei began in a calm yet somewhat psychotic tone, “sometimes I wonder if you know me at all. Have you forgotten that I am most concerned when the beauty of destruction is before me?”

“My strategies are flawless!” Exclaimed Karlow. “There is no need for us to be on the battlefield. You need but sit down and await our victory.”

“How you two became Generals is beyond me,” Olga said, her disgust showing in both her face and her tone.  “Commander Deus! Sending reinforcements directly to the frontlines!” Olga informed their commander and fellow Guardian General, Deus.

Deus grunted.  “Battles such as this that bring temporary peace are meaningless and a waste of my time.” He said in a deep, dark voice.

“Huh?” Olga looked at her commander dumbfounded.  He couldn’t mean…

“Prepare to fire the Brahmastra!” Deus ordered.

“The Brahmastra!?” Olga couldn’t believe it. “But Commander, it is not yet fully charged!” Olga’s voice was beginning to fill with frustration.

“In its current state it wouldn’t be able to demonstrate its true capability.” Kalrow pointed out.

“At times one must throw a stone in stagnant waters to set things into motion,” Deus clenched his fist. “Not just for this battle, but the future of the world itself.”

"The Bramasthra… That is an instrument of destruction I would love to hear played.” Sergei was rather happy at the prospect of using the Brahmastra, and took the mass destruction it would do with the joy only a psychopath would.

“As you wish, Commander.” Olga replied with slight bitterness in her voice.

Deus stretched his arm out with his hand open, striking a pose.  “Hear me now! Let this blast herald the coming of a new world order!”

***

The Karma Fortress.

It was incomplete, only having a head and torso, but its size was easily bigger than Gaea and, with the super weapon known as the Brahmastra on its forehead, is capable of unimaginable levels of destruction.  The Brahmastra began charging mantra to fire into a beam.

Asura noticed this and stopped his descent into more Gohma.  He turned around to look, only to see a giant teal laser being fired right at Gaea.  The laser destroyed a large bit of the surface and created a huge crater where it hit.

“The Brahmastra? But why?” Yasha said, wondering why they would fire the Brahmastra when it’s not at full power.

“Why not? It shows how serious we are about winning!” Augus replied, confidence filling his voice.

All of the sudden, a giant black patch on Gaea was forming where the Brahmastra hit.

“Behold!  It is VILTRAAA!” Wyzen exclaimed rather dramatically.

(More fitting music.)

And out of the ground came something with half the size of the planet. It was a huge mouth of some sort and its scream was like something out of a hellish nightmare. As it screamed, projectiles were fired upon the fleets of the demi-gods, destroying thousands of ships in the process.

Such power… Asura thought as Vlitra destroyed a huge chunk of their fleet.  Viltra had grown much more powerful since last time, but that’s not going to stop any of the generals from killing it once and for all, especially not Asura.

Watching from his ship, Kalrow’s mouth was agape at the carnage he just saw.  “Whoa! What power…!”

Augus didn’t seem fazed at all and was preparing to charge at Vlitra.

“Stand aside, weaklings!” Augus said, mocking the other three generals beside him. “This one’s MINE!" He charged right at Vlitra, leaving them in the dust.

Asura was not going to have any of that.

“Get back! You've had your share!” Asura yelled as he charged down with Augus.

Augus grabbed one of the Lashers, pushing it into a group of Gohma that were behind them. Meanwhile, Asura went through a whole barrage of Gohma and tried to do the same as his master except with a Carrier… only to get eaten by a giant squid Gohma behind him.  Yasha saw this and delivered a swift kick that destroyed the Lasher, saving Asura’s life.

“Watch yourself!” Yasha warned Asura.

“Yasha! Mind your own business!” Asura said rather angrily. (…Swag)

Suddenly, Vlitra decided to fire another barrage of projectiles towards the fleet.  Asura and Yasha were right in the middle of the barrage, and both were dodging all of the numerous blasts heading towards them.  Asura got hit by multiple projectiles closing in on him.  Yasha only managed to call out Asura’s name before getting hit by a barrage himself.  Both were down for the count.

"Father!?" Mithra said, knowing her father was in danger. She performed a spell, making mantra appear and made it head towards Asura and Yasha. When it hit, them they felt refreshed and stronger.

"Priestess!" Yasha called out as he felt more invigorated and stronger than before.

Asura, on the other hand, was beginning to focus mantra into his arms, spouting out two new arms alongside each arm and having a mantra ring become visible behind him for a moment, becoming Six-Armed Vajra Asura.

“This war… ENDS NOW!” Asura said with confidence in his voice

Vlitra screamed once more and let out yet another barrage of projectiles.  Asura and Yasha masterfully dodged the projectiles.  Asura started to fire numerous projectiles himself at Vlitra, causing damage to it on their descent down. Asura went for the kill and landed a clean hit with all three of his right arms right on top of what he figured to be Vlitra’s head, causing cracks to form down along Vlitra.  Vlitra was beginning to crumble down.  With this chance, Asura flew up high to bring down the final blow upon Vlitr-

What the- Before he could finish the thought, Asura was soon hit by a massive beam.  A beam directed right at him by Vlitra.

Asura managed to survive, losing his four extra arms in the process.  But he didn’t care.  All he felt was rage and anger for failing to kill Vlitra.  He was about to free humanity from the dark spirit of Gaea… and he didn’t kill Vlitra.  He only subdued it.

Yasha came down beside Asura, seeing the uneasiness in the fellow general.  "What troubles you?" Yasha asked, concerned about what was troubling Asura.

“I… could not kill it…” Asura said, anger prevalent in his tone.

“No one can kill Vlitra,” Yasha tried to reassure Asura. “You should be grateful you were able to subdue it."  Asura was still not satisfied. He wanted to kill Vlitra, one way or another.  Yasha still tried to reassure Asura.  “We have suffered more casualties than ever, but it will not be back for a while.  You should rest.” He told Asura.

Asura just grunted.

***

"Due to General Asura's efforts, Vlitra has subsided!" a demi-god soldier reported to Mithra.  With that Mithra dropped her mantra ring, happy that the war is over.

Emperor Strada rose from his throne, addressing the army that was before him.  “Purify the surviving Gohma!” He commanded.  “The power of my Eight Guardian Generals is invincible!  May Shinkoku prosper in everlasting GLORY!”

Deus simply looked down upon the army of demi-gods from his platform, arms crossed.

“The time… is near…”

***

It was the day after Vlitra’s defeat.  The people of Shinkoku are having a joyous celebration at the peace that has been achieved.  All of them have come out to celebrate the victory their demi-gods have brought them.

Meanwhile, Asura and Yasha went to Asura's home.  Outside, Asura’s wife and daughter were waiting for them.

“Asura!” Durga exclaimed happily as she and Mithra saw Asura and Yasha approach their lovely home.

Mithra ran towards her beloved father.  “Father!” She cried as she ran towards Asura, embracing him in a hug.  Asura started hugging his daughter. Mithra was crying tears of joy because she thought she had lost her father, but here he is, safe and unharmed.

“You’re safe…” Durga said as she came towards them.

“I am.” Asura said with relief in his voice

“Welcome home.  Father.” Mithra said to her father.

Asura seemed happy and at peace when Mithra said that.  “Thanks.”

As the family was embracing each other, a robotic voice suddenly broke the silence.

“General Asura, the Emperor summons you.” Turned out that it was a demi-god soldier sent out to fetch Asura.  “He awaits your presence in the throne room.”  The soldier bowed after it told Asura that.

“I wonder if he's going to present you with a medal for defeating Vlitra!” Mithra said, excitement in her voice.

“She's right. You mustn’t keep the Emperor waiting.” Durga said to her husband.

Asura nodded.  “Alright.” He then headed off to the throne room, with the robot following behind him.

***

Asura walked over to Emperor Strada and kneeled before him.  But… something was amiss.  Asura looked up at his Emperor.

The Emperor couldn’t keep his balance and fell.

Asura caught the Emperor in time, worried about what was happening to him.  As he was about to ask, Asura had a look of horror on his face when he looked at the Emperor.  He could not believe what was happening.  Emperor Strada…was killed.

Asura blacked out from shock.

***

Some time afterward, Asura re-gained consciousness.  He was breathing heavily, and looked up to see if the Emperor was really dead.  On the steps before him, Asura saw the Emperor dead, with blood splattered on the steps.  Asura looked at his hands and saw them covered in blood.

“What… what is this?" Asura thought out loud, utterly confused and horrified.  Feeling a presence in the room, Asura turned around to see.

There were a bunch of demi-god soldiers in the room, both shocked and angry that one of them – one of the Eight Guardian Generals, no less – would go and betray them the day after Vlitra was subdued.  The room immediately began to fill with their robotic voices.

“Insurrection!”

“Treachery!”

“Traitor”

“The Emperor…”

“General Asura has gone mad!”

The shock having finally run its course, Asura then fully realized what position he was in right now.  He tried to plead to the angry robots now blocking his exit.  “N-no! There must be some mistake!” Asura pleaded, hoping he could get their cooperation and explain his side of the story.

All that earned him was silence.

Panicking, Asura immediately started running towards the exit, dodging the attempts to stop him made by the soldiers on the way out.  He successfully left the throne room unscathed and kept running.

“I don’t understand! What the hell’s happening?!” He said as he ran outside.  As soon as Asura got out, however, he was immediately surrounded by demi-god soldiers.

“ASURA!” Cried a familiar voice.  Asura looked to see who it was, and saw no other than Wyzen, blocking Asura’s only escape.

“YOU TRATIOROUS FLITH!!” Wyzen yelled accusingly at Asura.

“No!  It wasn’t me!” Asura said, hoping that Wyzen might listen to him.

“SILENCE!  Enough of your lies! I shall purify the likes of you myself.”

“Damn you!” Asura said with an even angrier tone then before.

“RELEASE!” Wyzen commanded.  After that, the robotic soldiers began to attack Asura.

“Give up!” Wyzen yelled.

“I am innocent!” Yelled Asura while fighting off the soldiers.

“Hold still and receive your punishment!”

“MAKE ME!” Bellowed Asura in defiance.

More and more robotic soldiers came in trying to apprehend Asura, but he kept on defeating them.  Asura uppercutted one of them and kicked it mid-air into another group of soldiers, scattering them everywhere thanks to the impact.  Asura rushed up to them and preformed a spinning attack, releasing mantra to hit multiple soldiers at once and killing some of them.  His arms became red-hot afterward, which Asura used to his advantage as he savagely beat up one of the soldiers to give it a very painful and hot death before Asura’s arms could cool down.  Asura saw more soldiers coming towards him.

“Outta the way!” Asura yelled as he did another spinning attack to take the pressure off him.

“DO NOT LET HIM THROUGH!” Wyzen commanded as more soldiers came up to block Asura’s path.

“CLEAR A PATH!” Asura yelled as he grabbed a downed robot and threw it at the soldiers blocking him to break the line they made.  Before he could rush Wyzen, Asura became overpowered as many soldiers dog piled right on top of him, hoping that it would be enough to contain Asura.

They were dead wrong.

Asura managed to break free, despite now having half a dozen or so spears embedded into his back.  Wyzen was amused at Asura’s display.

“Still got it in you.  Let us cut to the chase….” Wyzen leapt to where Asura was.

“I’LL KILL YOU MYSELF!”

They fought each other in a battle to the death.

Wyzen shot bombs out of his hand, to which Asura replied with quickly dodging them and throwing one of the bombs right back at Wyzen.  Wyzen fell, but he was not out just yet. That is until Asura quickly ran towards him and performed an uppercut while Wyzen was still down. Wyzen was shot up into the air and spun around a little. Asura grabbed Wyzen in mid-air and slammed him back on the ground. Wyzen was still not dead yet. He tried to hit Asura with as much strength as possible, but Asura countered this by grabbing Wyzen’s fist, then threw his arm the other way and punched him in the face.   Wyzen was knocked out.  Asura did not wait and went back to running towards his family.

"Mithra! Durga! Be safe!" Asura said to himself as he ran as fast as he could, breaking the speed barrier and creating a sonic boom. He did not care for this and ran as fast as possible.  Asura got to his residence but it was too late. He could see his wife on the floor. Dying.

“Durga!” Asura cried.  He held her in his arms and heard her final words.

“Asura…” Durga began, pain panging all over her body as she spoke.  “Save her…” Durga put her hand on Asura’s face and pulled him in a bit.

"I will. Save your strength!" Asura was almost crying.

He could see her lips moving but did not hear her say anything. She was trying to say something, but the pain was too much for her to speak.  Asura knew what she would say though.

“Please. Be. Safe."”

Durga’s hand fell off his face and it hit the ground.  Asura was now only holding her lifeless body.  Never had Asura been this said before, but he turned that sadness into rage.

“… AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!”

Asura’s rage was enormous.  He ran out of the house and launched himself off high to the sky, sending him onto a ship where the other Guardian Generals were.

As he landed, he saw Mithra trapped inside a crystalline cage.  With all of the other generals standing in front of him.

“MITHRA!” Asura cried out.

“FATHER!” Mithra cried out in response.

Asura couldn’t believe it. First, he’s framed for killing the Emperor. Then his wife dies in his hands.  And now… Asura sees that the seven other Guardian Generals were holding his daughter against her will.  He was filled with more rage than when he fought Vlitra.

“Asura…” Yasha said in a calm yet slightly scared voice.

“Get out of my WAY!” Asura angrily bellowed at his former comrades.

Yasha took off his mask.  “Listen to me.  We-“

“MOVE!!”  Asura charged towards Yasha, ready to punch him out of his way.  But before he even got close, Asura was struck by black and white lightning and was flew back.

Deus was standing in front of Asura, black and white lightning coursing all over his body.  “Stand down, Yasha.” He commanded.  Yasha complied, simply putting his mask back on and turning away.

“Deus… it was you!” Asura noticed it was HE who killed the Emperor.

“Yes. I did what was necessary for the cause.” Deus said in his dark voice again.

“Cause…?” Asura asked in a confused tone.

“I have decided to save this world.” Deus said.  “I will create a new civilization… a great rebirth!”

“Save the world?  What “great rebirth”? You’re insane!" Asura said, barely believing that this is all happening.

Deus laughed at Asura’s stupidity.  “I will bear the burden of your wrath and your life, Asura.”

Deus fired another lightning bolt at Asura.  And another lightning bolt. And another one. Finally, Asura was struck by the last one… Or so he thought. He was on the edge of falling down to Gaea. He could barely stand up on his own.  Suddenly, he found himself being grabbed by the neck by Deus and lifted off the ground.

"Your death shall be the foundation of my new world!" Deus said as he struck Asura one final lightning bolt.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Asura screamed in pain. He screamed so much he could kill a god with his scream alone.  After the shock was done, Deus let go of Asura, letting him fall to his death.

"NO! FATHER!" Mithra screamed but it was in vain.  Olga thrusted her palm on the cage, putting Mithra in cryogenic stasis.

“Let her go!  I said LET HER GO!” Asura yelled as he fell down to the surface of Gaea.  He began to enter Gaea’s atmosphere and started to burn up.

I WILL HAVE MY VENGEANCE!!!!!” Asura swore vengeance upon the ones who betrayed him. Then he fell down to the surface of Gaea and died.

Back in Ponyville…

Rainbow Dash was bored and couldn’t figure out something to do. She decided to fly some but she was still bored. So she then decided to visit her friend Twilight.

She flew at incredible speeds as usual and got to Twilight's house in ten seconds flat.

She noticed Spike was in trouble and heard something about him accidently burning some book.  She decided to not get involved so she flew away.

"If only something more exiting happened…" Rainbow Dash said to herself.

Just as she said those words a bright fire beamed into the skies and the ground was shaking. She also heard a scream that could shatter somepony's ears.

It was coming from the Everfree Forest.

Chapter 3: A strange world

Asura is unconscious, holding on to a pillar of some sort that’s high above a lightning storm, or so it seems.

“…”

No thoughts are present.  No worries, dreams, emotions, just… zen.

“…”

Asura begins to hear a girl crying.  He’s not sure why, but it sounds… familiar. Somehow.

“ERRRAUGHH!”

Asura finally comes to.  All he sees is nothing but a few pillars here and there with strange symbols on them. He also noticed that he is hanging onto a pillar of his own.

“Awake at last, are we?”

The voice came out of nowhere, it seemed.  Asura took a quick look around his surroundings, but he couldn’t see anything that would be the source of the voice.  He decided to talk to it anyways.

“Where am I?” Asura asked, figuring it would be a good idea to find out where he is exactly, as well as seeing if there really is another person in the same place as he was.

“Well… this is Naraka.”  Replied the strange voice.  “But I won’t bother explaining because I doubt you would understand.  So for now, let’s just say you’re having a bad dream.”

Asura got a bit annoyed at the partial answer, but he figured it was a hell or purgatory of sorts.  However, he had more important questions to ask now that he was sure he wasn’t alone.

“Who are you?” Asura asked the strange voice.

“Good question! Not the right one.” The strange voice said.

Asura looks up and sees a golden spider hanging above him.

“The right question would be, ‘Who are you?’” The golden spider told him.

“I…” Asura could not remember his own name, or how he even got here in the first place.

The golden spider seemed amused at Asura’s bout of memory loss.

“Hehehehe. Start climbing then 'I'.”  The golden spider began to retract up its web.  “However, I would be careful.  I trust I need not tell you what would happen should you fall.”

Ignoring the golden spider’s amusement at his predicament, Asura began to climb up the pillar.

“Yes, that’s it.  Up you go.” The spider chimed in as he watched Asura as one would watch entertainment.

“Yes. There is a reason why you must climb, isn’t there?” The golden spider said. “You may have forgotten why, but the flame inside you still burns.  That’s it, keep going, Asura.”

This triggered something in Asura’s mind.  He began to have a flashback to when he was training with his former mentor, Augus…

***

“ASURAAA!”

This was one of Asura’s many training sessions.  The training place was in front of a temple of sorts, isolated from any sort of civilization.  Perfect for practicing against Gohma.

“These are our enemies,” Augus started, “the impure Gohma!”

What stood between Asura and Augus were three Gohma Howlers.  Being the stupid cannon fodder that the impure gorillas were, Augus figured they would be perfect for this session.

“Let’s see what you make of ‘em!” Augus jumped back on top of the temple entrance, eager to see what sort of violence Asura would show against the unfortunate Gohma.

Heh.  These Gohma don’t even stand a chance, Asura thought to himself confidently.  Even without mechanical arms, Asura was still a force to be reckoned with.  He cracked his knuckles and went straight to work.

Asura began to warm up his muscles with a few simple punches and kicks.  He rushed the Howlers and began wailing on them, not even thinking about what would be the most savage and painful way to kill these creatures.  Even this was a bit much for the Howlers, as they suffered a nasty beating.

Asura figured it was time to start impressing his mentor.  He let out a heavy attack, spinning 360 degrees and letting mantra out to hit the Gohma.  Augus seemed pleased at his student’s display of power.

“Hahaha, would you look at that!”  Augus needed to remind Asura who the big man was though, still being only a whelp to the demi-god.  “But a pup like you won’t be able to use that attack repeatedly!  Time and use that attack wisely!”  While very good advice for the student, the master couldn’t help but wonder how quickly the Gohma would be eradicated if Asura could let out that much power non-stop.  He almost slapped himself in the face as he remembered that his student had, as Augus liked to call it, his Unlimited Mode.  Augus only called it that because of all of the unlimited destruction and pain Asura caused in that form, becoming stronger and able to release heavy attacks constantly with no cooldown.  Despite somehow forgetting that his student possessed that much power, he still grinned, proud of his student.

Meanwhile, Asura was still mindlessly wailing on the three Howlers.  Implementing the use of heavy attacks more, Asura began to feel the brutal but graceful rhythm of combat, guiding his every strike.  He smashed his hands onto the ground, creating a shockwave that launched his Gohma punching bags into the air.  He jumped and dove right into one of them, sending the poor Gohma right into the ground.  Seeing the downed enemy dazed, he grabbed the legs of the other two Howlers and used them to smash their poor friend.  Seeing as all three were downed, Asura seized the opportunity and did a spin kick that released much more mantra than his usual heavy attacks and killed all three Gohma in one blow.  He looked up to his teacher, only to see Augus grinning.

“Haha!  Not bad!” Augus congratulated his student.  Almost immediately though, he moved on to the next part of their training session, not giving Asura a moment’s rest.  Augus never did say to stop.

“Don’t think you’ll come off unscathed!  Pain reminds you you’re fighting for your LIFE!”

A single Howler formed before Asura.  Asura would normally beat the living hell outta it, coming off unscathed, but he had to comply as his teacher made him get hit so he can demonstrate his recovery skills.  Of course, this is on the assumption that the Howler would hit him sometime, as Asura can stand still and not be hit for a while.  In fact, that’s exactly what he did.

After almost not noticing that the Howler was finally going to hit him, Asura got punched in the face.  Forgot how much of a punch those gorillas could pack…

Now being sent back a few feet in the air, Asura immediately positioned his body so that he would land on his feet, taking most of the impact on his legs.  Asura looked at his teacher, seeing if he had to take any more hits.  Augus looked back and only shook his head, now wanting to see Asura’s evasion skills, much to Asura’s liking.

After once again waiting for the Gohma to hit him, Asura expertly rolled and dodged the punches the Gohma was giving.  Asura was more than happy to not get punched in the face again.

“I think you got it!” Augus exclaimed, glad that the boring part of training is over with.  “But even a monkey could do that!  Let’s see if you can read your opponent’s moves and counterattack!”

Asura could only grin.  He looked at the unlucky Howler. Looks like your time is finally up.

The Howler stood on its two legs and began to prepare what would’ve been a rather painful slugging.  Fortunately for Asura, the attack was rather slow, so he had a lot of time to perfectly counter the attack.  And that’s exactly what he did.

After the Howler threw the punch, Asura stopped it and merely pushed it back with enough force to stagger the Gohma slightly.  Immediately Asura delivered a very painful looking uppercut, sending the Gohma high into the air.  Asura jumped up and smashed the head of the Howler into the ground, killing it within two hits.  Pleased with himself, Asura awaited the next part of the session.

“Don’t get distracted by multiple enemies! Concentrate on one at a time!”

Three Gohma Stingers appeared before Asura.  The flying manta rays gave Asura pause for a small moment, since he couldn’t just simply start wailing on them like he did with the Howlers.  However, he still had a plan of attack.  He’d just simply bring them down with his fists an-

“I never said all battles would be up close!”  Augus said, noticing how long it was taking his student to start attacking them.  “Knock them out of the sky!”

Or not.

Asura began to fire out balls of mantra rapidly, concentrating on one Stinger at a time.  Shortly, all three of the flying Gohma were dead.

“Haha!  Not bad!”  Augus jumped back to a higher elevation, now standing on top of the temple.  “Time for your next lesson!”

Augus started to lift a giant boulder up with a single hand.  “Now let’s see you shoot this down!”  He threw it directly at Asura.

Asura quickly shot it out of the sky, reducing it to rubble.  Augus threw more boulders at him, and each barrage was quickly dealt with.  Satisfied, Augus stopped throwing the barrage of boulders.

“Haha!  There we go!”  Augus was pleased with his student.  Now it was time for the fun part.

“Now it’s my turn.  Prepare yourself!”  Augus jumped down from the high height, appearing before his student.  “Let’s see how you do against your own master!”  He motioned with his finger for Asura to come at him.

And so he did.  Asura came at him, raining down a beat down that would’ve killed a Gohma.  Augus, being a demi-god, simply staggered backwards instead.  Augus retaliated back, doing sweeping attacks with his fists to knock Asura down.  Augus then let out a short trail of yellow mantra out, sending the student flying.  Asura quickly recovered and started firing out mantra balls, using the distance between them to his advantage.

Augus was not fazed one bit at this barrage of mantra, but Asura expected that.  He was doing this for an entirely different reason anyhow.  He needed to build up power for his Unlimited Mode.

After building up enough power, Asura closed in on Augus, activating his Unlimited Mode when he was close.  Augus was happy to see Asura getting serious.  “That’s it!”  Augus said in approval.  He wished he didn’t say that as he was pushed back quite a bit by a few heavy attacks from his student.  Augus was still a bit amazed at his student’s display of power in this state.  After that display, Asura reverted back into his normal state.

“Right…” Augus was eager to see his student getting more and more serious by the moment.  “Now let’s take your skills… and put them to the test!”

Augus started to throw a punch, which was quickly avoided by Asura. As a result, Asura went behind Augus and spun him around, landing a clean hit to his master’s face and sending him flying.  Before Augus could even get up, Asura dived in quickly from above, not giving him a moment’s rest.  Asura sent Augus back once more, this time downing him as well.  Asura felt the raging flames burning in him, and released a huge wave of mantra as he rushed towards Augus.  Asura punched Augus in the face, then delivered another blow to his ribs.  Finally, Asura uppercutted Augus and sent back crashing into one of the rock walls near the temple.

Augus seemed unfazed by all of this, quickly dashing up to his student.  Instead of attacking, as Asura expected, Augus stopped right before him and chuckled.

“You learn fast.”  Augus said, pleased at how serious Asura got during the fight.  “Here’s your REWARD!”

Augus headbutted Asura with great force, sending out shockwaves everywhere.  Asura was down for the count.  Augus smiled and laughed as he turned around to start walking away.

“That’ll be all for today.”  He simply said to Asura, who tried to stay conscious but failed to do so.

Before he blacked out, the last thing he heard was his master maniacally laughing as he walked away.

***

“My name is… Asura.” Asura finally remembered.

“Yes. That is your name, Asura.” The golden spider said playfully.

Asura let his head fall back, trying to see if he could remember more.

***

Asura was… fighting a bunch of robots in front of the Emperor’s palace.  They all branded him a traitor for killing their Emperor, Strada.  He fought them back, but more surrounded him and started to close in on him, saying things.

“TRATIOR!”

“The Emperor…”

“GENERAL ASURA HAS GONE MAD!”

“TREACHERY!”

“INSURRECTION!”

Asura couldn’t take it anymore.

“SHUT UP!”  He bellowed, quelling the voices for the moment.  He turned around, only to see more robots and a… man.  He couldn’t remember who he was exactly, but Asura knew he had seen his face before.  Asura was filling with rage with each moment he looked at the man, but he didn’t know why.

“THE TRAITOR, ASURA, HAS BEEN DEFEATED!”  Yelled the man.  At the sound of his voice, Asura remembers who the man is.

Deus…

As Deus began to fire a lightning bolt at him, Asura began to fall down.

“NO! FATHER!”

It was the same voice as when Asura came to in Naraka.  She started to cry again, and as she did, Asura started to remember.  The pain, the suffering, the anger… all of it started flowing back to him.

***

Asura snapped back to reality.  He put a hand to his forehead, pain throbbing in his head.

“Deus said he would save the world.”  The spider told his companion.  “Are you satisfied with being a cog in his machine?”  It garnered no response from Asura.  “Or, you could just curl up and die right here…”

“Shut up…”  Asura was beginning to get angry.

“Hm?”  The spider didn’t expect that.  “What’s the matter?  Have I angered you?”

“Not… you.”  Asura replied, looking more pained with each passing moment.

“Not me?”  The spider was definitely interested in this now.

“The crying…”

“Crying?  In Naraka??  There is nothing to hear but the sound of my voice.”  The spider said matter-of-factly.

Asura slams the pillar he hung onto, starting to climb faster. The golden spider could barely keep up.

Asura didn’t care about anything right now.  All he wanted was the crying to stop.  It was driving him mad.  He began to climb even faster than before, hoping it would help.  It made it even worse.

“STOP IIIIIIT!!!”

It would not stop, nor did he stop climbing. Eventually, he made it to the surface and a large and bright beam of fire shot up into the sky.

“GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” He screamed louder than he did when he was falling down from space. It scared the inhabitants of a nearby village as they heard an ungodly scream from nearby…

Ponyville

Rainbow Dash went immediately to Twilight, thinking she might know what is happening. She breaks open the door and flies right in.

“Twilight! What's going on!?” Rainbow Dash screamed to her friend.

“I… I don’t know.”  Twilight was in utter shock, having heard the ear-deafening scream as she was reading a book.  It practically gave her a heart attack.

Shortly after Rainbow Dash came in, the rest of the Mane 6 came in as well, asking Twilight questions about what happened.

“Twi, ya’ll happen to know wha’s happenin’ in the Everfree Forest?”

“Um, Twilight?  I, um, happened to hear a very loud scream in the forest and I was just wondering if you happen to know something about that?  You don’t have to answer though, but that would be nice…”

“Oh, darling, did you hear that dreadful scream!?  I was making a dress for a client when suddenly, I heard something scream!  Thankfully, I didn’t ruin the dress, for if I did, it would be the WORST.  POSSIBLE.  THING!  I came running here to see if you happened to know anything about it, Twilight.”

Pinkie Pie, however, was on a completely different subject.

“… and so I was completely crazy when I had a sip of Mrs. Cake’s coffee!  I was bouncing all over the place and making so many treats that I just had to throw a party about getting so much work done!…”

Twilight couldn’t take it anymore.  “I SAID I DON’T KNOW!!”

Everypony in the room was dead silent after that.  Re-gaining her composure, Twilight started to speak.

“Alright, everypony!  Since none of us have any idea what’s going on, there’s only one thing to do!”

Rainbow Dash, surprisingly enough, protested against what Twilight was suggesting.  “Oh no. I'm NOT going into the forest when there was just a huge beam of FIRE!” She protested.

“But we have to know what is going on-” Twilight was cut off mid-sentence

“NO!” Rainbow Dash protested yet again.

“YES!” Twilight responded.

“FINE!” Rainbow Dash finally gave up.

And so the Mane 6 prepared before heading out into the Everfree Forest.

Applejack had her trusty lasso with her.  Pinkie brought some cupcakes and her party cannon.  Twilight had some books and a map with her.  Fluttershy didn’t bring anything as she was didn’t want to go but was forced to anyway.  Rarity brought nothing as well, wearing a rather fashionable hat and scarf.  And Rainbow Dash was wearing her Wonderbolts costume that she wore for Nightmare Night for some reason… show off.

And so they headed out to the outskirts of the Everfree Forest.  They were about to enter… until they saw something with shiny arms about to fight off against a…

“M-MANTICORE!!”  The six ponies yelled in unison.

------------

The Everfree Forest

When the fire stopped, Asura could not explain what had just happened. It was like his entire body was filled with nothing but rage.

Asura decided to scan the area around him. Apart from a massive crater he made he could see that he was in the middle of a forest.

“What the… Where am I?”  Asura said in disbelief.  He wanted answers.

Then he saw something was moving in the woods. He readied himself for combat, ready to pummel whatever was going to come out.  What he saw next surprised him.

It was a weird creature, nothing like Asura had ever seen before.  It had the body of a lion, but its tail was that of a scorpion with…

Wings??  He thought to himself.  Asura couldn’t believe what he saw before him.  Despite being a demi-god and fighting off Gohma, he was at a loss for words when he saw this fusion of animals appear before him.  Suddenly, he heard voices behind him yell something.

“M-MANTICORE!!”

Asura would’ve looked back to the source of the voices, but he kept his eyes trained on this… manticore, as the voices called it.  Noticing the hostility that the manticore had, Asura decided to throw the first punch.

He rushed up to the creature, punching it right in the jaw.  He felt the bones inside the beast’s jaw break as his fist made contact with it,

Angered, the manticore tried to sting Asura with its tail. Asura countered this by grabbing the tail and punching it with so much force the tail disconnected from the body, leaving a pool of blood.  He heard the voices from earlier whimpering in fear, but he paid them no mind at the moment.

Asura launched the manticore with an uppercut and jumps up, delivering a fatal blow on top of the manticore’s skull.  The beast landed hard on the ground, breaking multiple bones in its body.  Asura landed right on it, breaking its spine with a rather gut-wrenching noise to accompany the brutal hit.

Asura was about to finish it. He grabbed the manticore by the head and started slamming it down to the ground. He started to punch it more and more and more until he heard a voice scream.

“STOP IT!”

Asura finally turned around to the source of the voices, only to see bunch of colourful creatures. One of them, the yellow coloured one, was staring directly into his eyes. However, this stopped when the colourful equines noticed his eyes were completely white and gasped.  Not caring, Asura went back to savagely killing the manticore.

“I-I can’t believe it!” Rainbow Dash said. “I guess ‘The Stare’ doesn’t work if their eyes are completely white…” Rainbow Dash, among other five ponies, were very worried.

“Listen to me you big meanie!”  Fluttershy started, stepping forward.  The creature stopped attacking the manticore, seeing what the yellow coated pony had to say. “You stop hurting that animal or I will-”

Fluttershy was abruptly cut by the creature grabbing her by the throat.

(Listen to this for dramatic effect)

“Shut up!” Asura just wanted his anger out of him, so he grabbed the creature by the throat and threw it against a tree, knocking it unconscious.

“Hey! no one hurts my friends!” Pinkie pie said as she pulled out her party cannon out of nowhere… only for it to be crushed by a very angry demi-god.

“YOU NEED TO SHUT UP AND DIE!!!” Asura did not have time for this useless fighting, so he grabbed the pink one's weapon and crushed it into dust. He followed this with by punching the pink creature up into the sky.

“WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-” Pinkie Pie squealed as she had fun being sent up sky high.  Despite being punched by a scary-looking monster.

“CHARGE!” Rainbow Dash cried as she flew straight for the monster.

Asura countered her by grabbing her head as she flew directly for him and slammed her into the ground.

Twilight tried to cast as many spells at it as she could, but it was all for naught as the creature fired projectiles of its own at her.  She began to bleed as the rapid-firing projectiles hit her anywhere where it would hurt.

“P-please… stop…” Twilight said weakly.

Asura immediately stopped upon hearing Twilight speak.

Her voice… Asura relaxed his body. It sounds… familiar…

“Don’t worry Twi!” Applejack said as she tried to lassoed the creature.  “Ah got thi-”

Asura got a hold of the rope.  Had Applejack’s voice not broken out him out of his trance, he would have been lassoed.  Not that it would do much, but Applejack realized how much danger she’s in now.

“Uh-oh.”  Was all the cowpony could muster.

Asura did not want to hurt the orange one too much, so he simply pulled the rope at amazing speed and punched the oncoming creature on the forehead, knocking it through a tree and onto a boulder.  Applejack was down for the count.

Asura heard a voice coming down from above, and looked up to see what it was.  He saw the pink one and it was… enjoying itself?  Deciding trying to figure out the pink would just make him more angry, he ignored her cries of joy and held his fist up where she would land.

“…EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-”

Pinkie’s fun was cut short as she landed right on Asura’s fist.  Asura opened it up and grabbed her face, making some sort of “squee” noise as he tightened his grip.  He threw the partying pony at a tree, knocking it unconscious.

“HAD ENOUGH!?” Asura bellowed, wondering if they were done fighting.

“Not so fast, you uncouth fiend!!” Rarity said to the monster that was hurting her friends.

“Then keep talking, and I’ll gladly send you TO NARAKA!” Asura threatened the white one.

He jumped up into the air and launched himself towards the annoying little creature, greeting her by sending a barrage of metal fists at her.  Rarity tried to counter this by trying to suspend Asura mid-air, but it was useless as the monster closed in on her with unnatural speed.

Rarity felt more pain then she could even handle. The monster finally sent the final punch onto her jaw. Rainbow Dash finally woke up and noticed all of her friends were either badly injured or knocked out. The rage began to grow inside her.

Asura noticed the cyan one woke up and he saw the fire in her eyes. He saw the same burning rage in her eyes as he felt inside him.  He stopped himself and relaxed his body.  He looked around him, seeing the carnage he had created, the innocent creatures he hurt. And all of his anger left him.

Rainbow Dash saw this as her chance and flew straight towards the monster once again.  The monster did nothing as she was gathering speed, flying as fast as possible and made a Sonic Rainboom.   It was stopped short as soon as she hit the still monster, hurting her head in the process.

The monster just stood there, not moving even a single inch.

Asura began to speak.  “I… know how you feel.”  He sounded solemn.  “I’m sorry.”

Rainbow Dash was confused. She was still angry but very confused. Why would that monster apologize? And what did it mean by “I know how you feel”?  As if on cue, the monster started to talk again.

"I… I’m sorry for hurting your friends." Asura continued. "I am sorry for hurting you as well.  I… I must leave."

And so he began to walk out of there… towards Ponyville.

Author Notes.

I'm sorry for this short chapter but i will hopefully make some longer once later on. Atleast you got some freaking action!

Oh and btw. I'm sorry for my horrible grammar :(

Oh and thanks to CompleteAwsomeness87 for the tip for making the last part make a little bit more sense.

Chapter 4: A angry ally

The Mane 6 were still recovering from the battle they just had. Twilight could still remember the scream the monster made.  She could not stop thinking about what it just did.

Rainbow Dash was still furious about what that monster did to her friends, but she was also very confused. The monster must have had a reason for coming to Equestria… right?

------------

Near Ponyville

Asura could not stop the painful memories that kept playing over and over in his head. The crying, the screams, the pain…

He was angry at how he could not remember anything, or why he was so angry. The anger inside of him grew each passing second.

Suddenly he saw what appeared to be a village. Taking the risks of it being hostile he started walking towards it, preparing for a fight if needed.

------------

Near the Everfree Forest

“Is everypony ok?” Twilight asked her friends.

“Ok? OK!? DO I LOOK OK!?” The cyan pegasus was still mad about what the monster did, and the confusion as to why he apologized didn’t help it one bit.  Along with not knowing if the monster would try to attack Ponyville or just leave them alone, she was also worried that the monster would try to attack Princess Celestia.

“I was only concerned with your well-being, Dash.  Please calm down…” Twilight said in a worried tone. She did not know what happened after she was defeated. From what she could tell, all she knew was that Rainbow Dash preformed a Sonic Rainboom at the monster. Did they win? Did they lose? None of her questions were answered.

“I'm sorry. It's just that… I’m confused.” Rainbow Dash finally said.

“Wha’ do ya mean, sugarcube?” Applejack asked her friend.

“…After the monster slammed me into the ground, I woke up and just saw you guys were just laying there on the ground.”  Rainbow Dash started to look down, feeling bad that she couldn’t protect her friends from the monster.

“Dash, it's not your fault. You did your best and I’m sure that we will capture it… somehow.” Twilight said, trying to reassure the sad pegasus. She did not know when it might attack again. Then she remembered something.

Today was the same day Princess Celestia would come to visit Ponyville!

------------

Ponyville

Asura had finally reached his destination and to his surprise, he saw more of the brightly coloured four legged creatures. They all looked at him with fear in their eyes. Amongst the crowd, Asura saw a much taller one of them walking around, sporting a horn and wings.  It was slender, with a beautiful white coat and gorgeous gold armor pieces that were adorned with intricate designs and an amethyst in the center of the chest piece, along with a crown with gems on it. Its mane seemed to move on its own, looking more like some of the nebulae Asura would sometimes see when they were out in space than an actual mane.  He noticed the pony walking towards him.

“Who are you?” Asked the regal pony in a calm voice.  Asura figured it was a female, judging from the voice of the creature.

“I’m… Asura.” He hesitated, as he was unsure if this pony would attack him on sight or not.  Judging by the fact that nothing was happening yet, Asura figured she would do no harm to him.  Yet.

“Pleased to meet you.  I’m Princess Celestia, ruler of all of Equestria.”  She gave a warm smile.  “Could you please explain what you are?”  Celestia was quite curious as to what this bipedal being was.

“… A demi-god.” Asura answered plainly.

Celestia was shocked at Asura's answer. She had never seen a demi-god that looked like Asura before, let alone a demi-god in general.

“Why are you here?” Celestia asked the demi-god.

“Why do you care?” Asura asked, rather annoyed at Celestia’s questions.

Celestia took note at how angry the demi-god was, knowing she should pick her words carefully. “I’m just looking out for my subjects.  I want to make sure you’re not going to hurt them.”

“And I don’t care.” Asura started getting angrier and angrier the more the annoying creature asked questions. He turned his hand into a fist and was preparing for a battle.  The Princess noticed this, however, and had an idea.

“Maybe we can make a peace agreement? I don’t want any of my little ponies to get hurt, nor do I want to hurt you.”  Celestia was hoping that the angry demi-god would agree to it instead of resorting to violence.

Asura was ticked off.  “Peace? You want peace after sending six of your so called 'ponies' to ATTACK ME!?”

“What do you-” Celestia gasped as she hit a realization.  “Were you the cause for the beam in the Everfree Forest?”

Asura ignored the question, too angry to bother with anything so insignificant.  “Do you think I would agree to peace when your ponies attack me for NO REASON!?”

“My little ponies would nev-” Celestia was cut off by a very angry Asura.

“WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?!?” Asura was VERY pissed off. He was getting ready to fight until he got heard a familiar voice from behind.

“STAY AWAY FROM HER YOU MONSTER!” Rainbow Dash bucked Asura in the spine, but it had no effect. She put some distance between herself and Asura as she prepared for her next attack.

Everypony in town stood there, shocked. They did not know what was going on, but in mere seconds, Ponyville was like a ghost town.

“You…” Asura slowly turned around, rage building inside him.  “I’ve spared you before, but now… NOW I’M GONNA END YOU!!”

Celestia smacked her hoof to the ground. “STOP!  There is no need for such violence!” Celestia yelled to the very angry demi-god. He turned to her with complete rage in his eyes.

“GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!”

Asura smacked his foot down on the ground, growing a giant, red hand made out of pure rage and mantra.

The Mane 6 and Celestia stood with absolute fear in their eyes, knowing where all that anger was focused on.

“THIS IS YOUR END!!!” Asura screamed to the ponies as mantra had appeared around him.  The Princess erected a shield around her and the Mane 6, ready for whatever may come.

Father! NO!

The voice once again rang in Asura’s ears.  Upon hearing it, he lost any rage he had before, the giant hand retracting back into his body.  “No… I must not lose myself.” Asura said, relaxing his body.

Celestia dropped her shield, seeing Asura pacified at the moment.  The Mane 6 still stood behind their Princess.

“… I agree." Asura said, now completely under control of his anger… for the moment.  “I agree to your… peace agreement, Princess Celestia.”  Celestia nodded in approval. Another crisis averted, she thought to herself.

“WHAT!?” Rainbow Dash was angry at the Princess's offer. "So you’re telling me that he attacks us and then he-" Rainbow's accusation was cut short by Celestia.

“That's not how he explained his story to me. He says that you were the first ones to attack him.” Celestia said, now looking accusingly at the six ponies behind her.

“Well… Umm… ok, so maybe we were the first ones to-” Rainbow Dash was yet again cut from her speech.

“Then why did you attack him?!” Celestia asked the cyan pegasus, a mixture of confusion, anger, and disappointment in her voice.

“Well…” RD did not know what to say next. She knew that Asura might have saved their lives by fighting that manticore.  On the other hoof, he either punched all of her friends out cold or severely injured them, which was pretty evide… wait, that’s it!

“He punched us Princess! It's very obvious! Just look at what he did to us!” Rainbow finally spoke while pointing to the spots of where he hit them.

Celestia did not notice their injuries until the pegasus showed them to her, and she felt pretty dumb. She turned to the demi-god who merely shrugged.

“It was for self-defence.  They thought I was threat and began to attack, so I fought back.” Asura said, knowing what Rainbow Dash would say.

Celestia looked skeptical.  “Then why don’t you look hurt?”  She asked, wondering how a buck from Rainbow Dash or Applejack didn’t leave a bruise on the demi-god.

Asura grinned.  “I took much nastier hits from my mentor.  ‘Pain reminds you you’re fighting for your life,’ he’d always said.  Guess you can after the first hit, I didn’t get hit again afterward.”

Celestia nodded and sighed. She did not know which story to believe in.  She mulled over their stories again.  Asura did hurt the Elements of Harmony, yes, but he was also fighting off a manticore.  The Mane 6 said they attacked because Asura attacked, but he claimed it was self-defence…

There were too many holes in both stories. Celestia sighed and decided on her verdict.

“I believe your story… demi-god.”  Celestia decided that it was maybe not a good idea to anger a demi-god that can easily destroy all of Equestria if he was having a bad day.

Twilight stood there with a shocked expression on her face, along with the rest of her friends “Wait… y-you’re a… a… DEMI-GOD!?”

Asura nodded. “Yes.  My name is… Asura.”  He still couldn’t remember why the purple horned pony’s voice sounded so familiar.  “And yours?”  He asked the six ponies.

“Umm… M-my name is Twilight Sparkle, and these are my friends.” She gave a forced smile and looked at Applejack.  “This here is Applejack,”

“Uhh… H-howdy there, pardner.” Applejack said while still fearing the demi-god.

Twilight continued “Rarity,”

“C-charmed.” Rarity said, and just like Applejack she feared the demi-god.

“Fluttershy,”

“… Please don’t hurt me." She said meekly and frightfully.  Asura could barely hear the shy pony.  He spoke up.

“You have no reason to fear me anymore.  I apologize for hurting you earlier.” Asura said very solemnly, attempting to reassure her. It was surprisingly quite successful. He saw that the yellow coloured pony (now known as Fluttershy) warmed up to him a little bit, but still feared the demi-god.

“Pinkie Pie,”

The pink pony took a deep breath.

“HIIHAVENEVERSEENANYTHINGLIKEYOUBEFOREANDYOULOOKSCARYANDALLBUTDOYOULIKEPARTIES!?”

The extremely hyper active pony said, all in one breath.

Asura was amazed at that.  Even a demi-god couldn’t do that.  He had no idea what Pinkie Pie asked though, so he simply nodded.  The partying pony grinned and squealed in joy.  Asura scratched his head.

“What was that all about?” Asura questioned Twilight.

Twilight giggled.  “Don’t worry, it's just Pinkie being Pinkie.”  Twilight answered, knowing what Pinkie had planned.  “Anyways, there's still one more friend I haven’t introduced yet.  This is Rainbo-” She was cut off as Rainbow Dash flew in front of Asura.

“Just because you’re our new ally doesn’t mean I have to like you, you know!” Rainbow Dash angrily yelled at the demi-god.  Asura considered slapping her on the head, but he decided against it.  Not exactly the best way to start off in a new alliance… He thought to himself.

“RAINBOW DASH! Please don’t make him angry.” Twilight said with fear in her voice, thinking that Asura would rip her head off.

Asura chuckled.  “Don’t worry, I won’t.  Besides, I understand the rage that burns inside this one.”  He looked at Rainbow Dash.

The cyan pegasus was confused.  “W-wait… you do?” She asked.  Asura simply nodded in response.

Everypony was confused, wondering things like, “How does he know?” or “What does he mean?”, “Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?”

“Coconuts can’t migrate, silly!  They could only be carried!  Of course, an European swallow couldn’t carry it on its lonesome and maintain air/speed velocity…”

Everypony (and Asura) stopped to look at Pinkie Pie looking at the sky, talking to nopony in particular.

“Uh… Pinkie?”  Twilight began.  “What are you talking about?”  The entire group just kept looking at the pink pony.

Pinkie Pie looked at them as if they were crazy.  “The author just made a Monty Python And The Holy Grail reference!  You can’t just expect me to not say something if he made a reference to one of the greatest comedies of all time!”

They just stood there in silence.  Rarity finally spoke up.  “Darling, don’t you have to, uh… plan a party for our friend here?”

Pinkie Pie gasped.  “You’re RIGHT, Rarity, thanks for reminding me!”  The odd pink pony bounced away happily.

Everybody there stood in silence, staring as Pinkie left.  Celestia included.

Asura broke the silence this time.  “That was… interesting.”  He finally looked away from where the pink pony went, looking at the ponies before him.  Asura remembered a very important thing to ask.

“I just realized something,” Asura began, “I have no place to stay.  Is there somewhere where I could stay?” Asura asked. All eyes were looking at Twilight.

“… What?” Twilight asked.

“Well…” Rainbow Dash began.  “You are the one with a guest room.”

Thoughts of Asura ruining her books terrified Twilight.  She was about to protest before Asura made a very compelling argument.

“Besides… you don’t want to make me angry, now would you?” Asura said, knowing that she still feared him.  He couldn’t help but smile a bit.

Suddenly books were the least of Twilight’s worries.  “O-of course not! Please, let me show you to your room.” Twilight said.  She’d rather not get hit by those projectiles of him again anytime soon.

And so they were off to twilight's library. In the meantime, Asura was thinking about his next objective.

What should I do next? Asura thought. I must know what happened to me.  Who was crying? What was that voice?

Several questions were flying around in his mind, none of them were answered. Suddenly he saw a lizard looking creature who was running towards them.

“THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS. DIAMOND DOGS. HELP!” The lizard looking… thing, said to Twilight. The only thing Asura could figure out was that it needed his help.

“Spike! Calm down!” Twilight said to the lizard now known as spike.

Spike started to breathe at a steady rate… then he saw Asura.  He let out a startled “EAUGHGH!” and hid behind Twilight, shaking.

“W-what is THAT thing!?” Spike said as he pointed at the biped creature.  “It’s not gonna eat us or anything, is it Twilight!?”

“Spike, don’t be silly!  He’s not going to eat you.”  Twilight rolled her eyes at the baby dragon’s imagination.  “Anyways, his name is Asura and he is a demi-god." Twilight said as she remembered a book that she was reading. Remembering Spike said something earlier as he ran towards her, she questioned Spike about what had happened.  All Spike did was point in the direction of where the CMC were and said “The Diamond Dogs took them! They took the Cutie Mark Crusaders!”

Judging by the name, he figured these… Cutie Mark Crusaders were children.  To him, these “Diamond Dogs” were already just as bad as the Gohma.  Rage was building inside him.  He realized this would be a good opportunity to make good with the Mane 6.  “Let me help.”  He offered.

Twilight raised an eyebrow at him.  “Alright.  But no killing anypony.  Nor savagely beating them to a bloody pulp.”

Asura grunted, but didn’t mind much.  “Fine.”  He said, his usual angry tone coming back.

To be continued…

Chapter 5: Fist's of fury

The Mane Six and Asura were running toward's the location of where the Cutie Mark Crusader's would be, until Rainbow Dash was starting to get bored.

"Want to race?" Rainbow Dash asked Asura. "First one to those dog's wins!"

"Then dont keep me waiting!" Asura said as Dash started to speed up. Asura would not have any of this and used his 'Burst' attack and started to run faster than anything the world could possibly hope to create.

Asura slammed the ground and flew up into the sky and, with a mighty force of rage, started speeding down toward's his destination. While he was in the air, he shot down any Diomand Dog's that were on the ground as he was speeding down towards them. He quickly knocked out at least five of them using his projectile's and ten or so other's by quickly spinning around with his arm's out, releasing blast's of rage and mantra att the Diomand Dog's. He was getting closer and closer to the ground. He finally used one final Burst attack in mid-air and created a shockwave as he 'landed', demolishing any Diomand Dog's who were unlucky enough to be near the shockwave.

"Anyone else!?" Asura had knocked out most of the Diomand Dog's and was ready for more to come, but there was one problem; There was none to fight. However, the Mane Six had finally made it to where Asura was, and they were not too happy by what they saw.

"I told you to NOT kill anypony!" Twilight was furious as she thought he had just killed a whole bunch of Diomand Dog's for no reason.

"They are only knocked out, they will survive." Asura said.

"Well could you atleast try to keep the violence down?" Twilight said, trying to keep Asura away from getting any angrier, knowing what he could do when he was angry.

"Tell me, what would we gain from getting beaten without even protecting eachother?"

"Well... umm-"

"Exactly. You just let me continue fighting and I will make sure we can walk away without any blood on us."

What Asura just said made the Mane Six cringe, remembering why they had feared him earlier, his lust for fighting anything that was standing in his way. Meanwhile, Asura was trying to find these 'Cutie Mark Crusaders' as they were called but did not see them anywhere, instead he only saw a bunch of hole's in the ground. Probably those dog's, desperate to hide from me Asura thought as he saw the dog's were suddenly starting to fill up the hole's.

"Hey big guy! you think you can dig up one of those hole's so we can get in?" Dash asked Asura.

"Why would I do that? I thought that the children-"

"Fillies!" The Mane Six shouted att Asura in unison.

"Right... I thought that the 'fillies' were going to be here!" Asura got even more enraged, thinking that he would have to run miles away just to save some fool's.

"Well, these Diomand Dog's usually dig hole's in the ground to find gem's so the fillies will probably be deep within these hole's and forced to work for them." Twilight said, giving Asura a quick lesson on how Diomand Dog's worked.

"What!?" Asura was not happy to hear that someone (my bad, 'somepony') so young were forced to work against their will.

"Fillies... forced to work?... I will not stand for this!" Asura said as he started to repeatedly punch a pile of dirt to uncover a hole once again. Meanwhile he was doing this he saw out of the corner of his eye that some of the dog's were popping up from some of the remaining hole's but almost instantly went back down when they saw Asura, scared of the two legged creature who was uncovering a hole by punching the dirt out of the way.

Several second's later and the hole was now big enough for both the ponies and Asura.

"Come on! I dont have all day!" Asura said as he jumped down the hole, sliding down towards wherever he was going.

Asura and the Mane Six where in a huge cave, filled with several Diomand Dog's who were ready to defend their gem's, and their worker's/slave's. However, they did not expect the two legged monster to start punching them.

Asura was fighting many Diomand Dog's and he was not going to stop fighting anytime soon. He performed a uppercut on one of the Diomand Dog's and jumped into the air and punched the dog back down to the ground with a powerful blow. He then proceded by walking up to the knocked out Diomand Dog and made yet another uppercut, but this attack did not only knock one of the dog's but several other's into the air with a large amount of power, knocking them out cold. This also made Asura's fist's get overheated by using too much mantra att once.

He then started to repeatedly punch the dog's with his projectile's, making Twilight cringe as she remembered att how painful it was. Asura had finally reached his unlimited mode and was just about to use it, until he saw that the dog's were retreating.

The rest of the Diomand Dog's decided it was a good idea to run away, only to be caught in a corner by the beamoth that was now ready to start beating them to death.

"Please! I dont want to die!" One of the terrified Diomand Dog's said, begging Asura to not kill him.

"Then start talking! where are the fillies!? and if you lie to me. I will not hesitate to kill you." Asura was not in the mood for chatting anytime soon. He only wanted to get the fillies and get the hell out of there and never return. This place smell's worse than Augus Asura thought, mentally insulting his former master.

____________

Meanwhile.

Augus feelt a sudden burst of anger and it vanished as fast as it came. He decided it was best to not care and went back to... whatever he was doing.

____________

Back in the cave.

"They are over there!" The dog said as he pointed toward's one of the hole's in the wall. "Take them for yourself! just leave us alone!"

"Thanks." Asura rewarded the dog's co-operation by head butting him, knocking him out.

Asura turned to the other dog's who were now even more terrified than before. "Let this be a lesson for you all, if you ever mess with me or any ponies, you will regret it! now RUN!" Asura screamed att the dog's as they ran in opposite direction's, some of them even dug deep into the ground and filled their hole's as fast as they could.

"You didnt have to do that!" Twilight was now angry (and terrified) att Asura because she did not like to use violence att all.

Asura grunted in anger and said "It make's saving these so called 'Cutie Mark Crusaders' easier. Beside's, now we know where they are so dont complain!" Asura was his angry self once again and felt like punching anything right now just to release some of his anger.

And that's just what he did.

Asura punched a wall and made a hole that was long enough so it reached to where the CMC were located, knocking out one of the guard's out in the process who were keeping them in a cell.

As the dust cleared, Asura had already managed to spot the fillies and quickly grabbed them and went back to the Mane Six.

"Sweetie bell!"

"Applebloom!"

"Scootaloo!"

Rarity, Applejack and Rainbow Dash said in unison as they spotted Asura carrying the Cutie Mark Crusader's.

"Lets get out of here." Asura said, annoyed att how long he had to be in the cave.

"Over there! take them down!" A voice called out. It was a Diomand Dog who was followed by several other guard's.

Asura put the fillies on their parent's, or so he thought, back's. "You take the fillies away from this place, I'll handle them" Asura said as he pointed att the oncoming guard's.

"Ok just. Be careful." Even though Asura was Rainbow's sworn enemy, she was still worried about him getting injured.

"Dont worry. I'll be fine." Asura said with confidence in his voice.

The ponies started to run away from the oncoming army of Diomand Dog's with spear's.

This should be fun. Asura thought to himself as he readied himself for a battle.

Next time on Asura's wrath

"What in tarturus is THAT!?"

"KNEEL BEFORE ONE OF THE SEVEN DEITIES!"

Chapter 6: A deities arrival Part 1

A/N: "But I dont wanna continue this story!"

'You' pump your shotgun.

"FINE, JEEZ!"

NEW RULE! when you see red text, it means that you stop playing the music. ENJOY!

The Mane Six were running as fast as they could with the CMC on their back's, desperate to find a way out of the cave. They had finally spotted the way they came from. They started to climb their way upwards, to the surface. Halfway through, Rarity started to whine.

"Cant we go any faster? I simply MUST take a bath to get rid of all this dirt from my mane!" Rarity whi- err, I mean, complained (You dont want to anger the god of WHINING!).

"Oh for pete's sake. Do you HAVE to complain about dirt every three steps we take in this place?" Rainbow Dash was quite annoyed by the fact that she would have to listen to Rarity complain all the time.

"You have GOT to be joking! fashion is very important and I simply cant just go around looking filthy all the time."

"Could you at least stop complaining for just a second!"

"Both of you! stop arguing! we're not going to get out of here any faster by your yelling!" Twilight said to her arguing friend's.

"Fine." They both said in unison

After several minute's of climbing, they finally reached the surface.

"FREEDOM!" Rainbow yelled, happy to finally be able to fly again.

"But... What about Asura?" Fluttershy said, worried that the demi-god might get hurt.

Just as she said that, a huge roar of rage was heard, waking up the CMC in the process.

____________

In the cave.

Asura was standing alone against several Diomand Dog's. There were at least twenty or so dog's, all carrying spear's, thinking it would hurt the two legged monster. Asura was not amused.

"Is that all you got? I can kill you in my sleep." Asura said, taunting his enemies by yawning.

"Shut up! you took our worker's, and now you will pay!" The leader of the army yelled.

As fast as Asura heard him say those word's, he became enraged.

"What did you just say!? Do you think, that you can just take some fillies and put them to work against their own will!? I WILL END YOU!"

"Do you think you can hurt me? look around. I have a army, what do you ha-" The leader was not allowed to finish his speech as he found a fist being connected to his face, launching him into a wall and killing him.

The rest of the Diomand Dog's were now terrified att what they just witnessed. A single creature was able to kill their leader with just one single hit. They just stood there, quivering with fear.

Asura was now feeling better as he found his blood lust being temporarily satisfied, but only for a second. He wanted to kill more of them.

And that's why he started to beat the living crap out of the foolish dog's who dared to fight against him.

(Que epic music)

Asura started his attack by running att one of the dog's and punched him so hard, his fist went through the now dead dog's chest. The Diomand Dog fell limp and colapssed on the floor.

Asura continued his attack by grabbing the lifeless corpse and threw it att the other Diomand Dog's, spilling more blood across the room they were in.

Asura made his way to one of the Diomand Dog's who were on the floor from the corpse being thrown att them. He let out some of his mantra as he spun around with his arm's out, releasing a devastating attack att the other dog's around him as well, also overheating his fist's.

The Diomand Dog's were not done just yet as one of them tried to attack the monster who was tearing their comrade's apart by stabbing it. Asura saw this attack coming and immidietly countered it as he grabbed the tip of the spear and pulled it away from the dog and impaled him with his own weapon.

Asura then proceeded to grab the spear once again and launched it att the rest of them, leaving some of his mantra with it, making it a missile. The missile went straight for a group of Diomand Dog's and exploded, sending several red flames of rage through the room, killing the entire group.

Asura had finally unleashed his unlimited mode, scaring the Diomand Dog's even further as they saw the monsters pattern's on its body to glow with a bright yellow and red color.

Asura started to release more damage on the dog's than before. He ran up to one of the terrified dog's and unleashed a heavy attack by spinning around and releasing some mantra. But this time, he did not overheat.

He also grabbed one of the dog's by the throat and threw him across the room, splattering blood att the wall as he was demolished.

"Please stop! we give up!" One of the Diomand Dog's yelled in a attempt to avoid their death.

Asura was glad to hear this as he, suprisingly, stopped his fighting. "Will you ever take any prisoner's again?" Asura said with rage obvious in his voice.

"Never! we swear!"

"Good. Because I dont ever want to see your ugly face's ever again. Do you understand me!?"

"Yes! we understand! please leave us alone!"

But Asura was not done yet as he had just reached his maximum anger, ready to do his Burst attack. He only said one simple word. "No."

He grinned as unleashed his Burst attack, creating a rapidly growing ball of pure rage. Asura released a giant scream of rage as the ball of anger and hatred started to grow even faster, destroying anything in it's way.

Asura had finished his ultimate attack. He looked around him and saw nothing but blood and limbs from the Diomand Dog's. He thought for a moment about what he should do next.

With, oddly, no blood on him. He decided to say "Skrew this" and jumped and punched through the roof of the cave and was eventually at the surface once again.

He landed with a loud 'thud' and cracked the ground a bit. He looked around himself, looking to see if anyone else was in the area. Unsuprised, he spotted nine familiar ponies. Three of them with a look of astonishment, awe and fear, all att the same time.

He decided to walk towards them. Suddenly, all three of them screamed "CUTIE MARK CRUSADER MONSTER TAMER'S!" Once they said that, he backed away from them, but only for a second as he remembered that he could easily take them down if needed.

The Mane Six just sighed and face hooved as the CMC tried to tame the, said monster. It went horrible. Asura just stood there, arm's crossed, as the CMC tried to tame the beast that stood before them. Several minute's of taming later, they finally stopped

"I'm glad your done." Asura said. Leaving three astonished fillies behind and walked up the the other's.

"You can TALK!?" The three said in unison.

"Yes. Now if you dont mind, we need to get going." Asura said, with that famous anger in his voice.

And so their journey back to Ponyville started. The Cutie Mark Crusader's started to ask several question's to Asura where he would just answer them with a grunt in anger and continue walking. But there was one question that got Asura's interest.

"Do you have a family?" Asura stopped his walking and looked down att the ground, seeing a vision of the girl once more. The other's were now a little worried for him.

"Hey big guy. You alright?" Rainbow Dash, out of all the other ponies, said, a little concerned for his well being.

"I'm fine. Lets just keep going." Asura said with a slightly sad tone in his voice.

The ponies decided to not risk making him angry and continued walking. Two hour's later, they finally arrived in ponyville. They found Celestia waiting for them att the center of the town.

"I have been waiting for you. Especially Asura." Celestia said with her caring and motherly voice.

Asura stopped in his tracks att the mention of his name and, with the anger back in his voice, said. "What do you want?"

"Asura. I have seen your actions in the cave." She said, trotting towards Asura.

Asura had not the slightest bit of worry in him, as he knew he could take her down with a single punch. The rest, however, were looking att the scene unfolding before them.

"Because of your killing, I want to ask you something." Celestia said. Twilight was quite pissed att Asura for doing the opposite of what she told him to not do.

Celestia lowered her head and said. "Do you want to become the protector of the element's of harmony?" What Celestia had just said caught everypony (and Asura) off guard.

"WHAT!?" All of the ponies said in unison. Even Asura joined their state of confusion.

"Princess. Not to be rude or anything but, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!?" Twilight yelled, not believing a word Celestia had just said.

Celestia chuckled att her student's reaction. "No. I'm completely serious." Celestia said with complete seriousness in her voice.

"So. Do you accept this offer?" She said with a almost non existing desperation in her voice. After several moment's of thinking, Asura gave his answer.

"I will protect them with my life."

And that's when they could see a giant ship, floating in the sky. There were several mumbling's, like "What is that", "Are thoose alien's?", "What... Is your favourite color?"

Suddenly. A man in armour came up to them and said, "Blue... No yell- OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW!!!" And that's when he flew into a random pit of lava that closed up after the man fell into it. There was the same thought going through everypony att the same time. What just happened?

Chapter 7: A deities arrival Part 2

"What in tarturus is THAT!?" Some random pony said.

Asura and all the ponies in the village were staring at the huge ship over them. Asura, however, was not even tilting his head in confusion to what this was. He knew that ship all too well, yet he didn't know it at all. Just as he thought of what was about to happen, A giant boulder rocketed down towards him. Asura quickly grabbed the other ponies and jumped out of the way.

Once he saw that all the ponies were safe, he gazed at the boulder before him. But this was no boulder. This was a way to transport their troops. It was a big, golden pod, containing several soldiers. The pod opened and revealed several low ranking Doji soldiers, but Asura was not afraid of these soldiers. Not one bit. Asura was confident in his ability to take them down.

“So. You have returned.” A higher ranking Rasho soldier said. “Back from the dead, impure demi god Asura! We shall send you back to the shadows of death! Kill him!”

Asura did not waste any more time and charged straight into a doji soldier first. He grabbed the soldier by his head and quickly spun around, realizing some mantra as well. When he was done spinning around he released the soldier, sending him flying towards his comrades, knocking them over. Asura ran towards the fallen enemies and, once he got to them, performed a uppercut at one of the downed soldiers, killing the others in the process.

Happy with his work, Asura turned to the last soldier, only to find that he was not there. He heard something behind him and turned towards the noise. He had barely enough time to jump away at the last second. Once he got back his balance, he looked up to see his last enemie. He took this moment to brutally punch the soldier’s head, sending him flying. Asura had enough of this game and released all of his anger and ran towards the last soldier, ready to smash his face in.

Asura used all his might to strike his last enemy down, sending the deceased warrior flying. But Asura knew very well that this would not be his final foe. He looked up to see if there were anyone else who would be sent to try to kill him. But there were no one else who came towards him.

“All ships! Release Hamaya. FIRE!” A robotic voice said.

Asura could see several objects flying towards him. But Asura knew what these objects were. No! Asura thought. He pushed the ponies out of harm’s way. After he had done so, he was hit by the bombs.

Celestia, along with the rest of the ponies, stared at where Asura once was. She hung her head low in sorrow for the deceased demi god. Tears started to well up in their eyes. But once the smoke cleared, she looked up, only to see Asura, standing there, not a single scratch on his skin.

“Is that the best you can do!?” Asura screamed towards the ship.

Another shadow could be seen above them, but this was not another pod. This was yet another soldier, it was a big, golden troop, a Taison soldier, using its own weight to its advantage.

“What a lucky turn to find the traitor here.” He said as he lifted his foot up in the air and slammed it in the ground. “Rip him apart!” As he said this, nine more Doji soldiers came forth, ready to fight the traitor before them.

Celestia did not know why they called Asura a traitor, but decided to not think of this for now, as there were more important matters at hoof.

Asura only became more angry as there were more soldiers coming in and, with a running start, jumped towards the Taison’s head and punched him, creating a shockwave from the sheer force of the punch, killing the Dojis as well. The ponies stared in awe as they saw Asura take down a entire group of soldiers with a single hit. When Asura thought that there were no more enemies trying to kill him, he dropped his stance and walked towards the ponies, knowing Celestia was probably expecting a explanation from him about him being called a traitor, a explanation that he did not have.

“Kurikara Fudo Uchi!” They heard someone say from the sky. Asura looked up, only to escape from a brutal hit that was directed towards him. After he had regained his stance, he looked at what attacked him.

“Hmph. What lord Deus said was true. It has been a while, traitor. I never actually thought you would be foolish enough to show you face again.” The mysterious man said.

“Who are you?” Asura asked.

“Hmph. Do not tell me you have forgotten everything. How could you forget the great Wyzen?”

“Wyzen?” Asura asked, not remembering anything about this ‘Wyzen’.

“Open your eyes, traitor. KNEEL BEFORE ONE OF THE SEVEN DEITIES!”

“The seven deities?”

“We seven deities maintain order throughout the world. We have become go-”

”You talk too much!” Asura said as he lunged at Wyzen and punched him in the face, sending him flying backwards.

“Oh, how pitiful.” Wyzen said after he had regained his stance. “Your ears have become so sullied that you can’t even comprehend words of purity. FEEL MY WRATH!” And with that, the battle begun.

Wyzen jumped into the air and fired off bombs from his right arm, but Asura just smacked them away. When Wyzen fired the final bomb, Asura caught it and spun around and released it, making it a lethal weapon.

The bomb hit Wyzen in the chest and he fell to the ground. Asura ran towards him and performed a uppercut that he had done before. It was enough to send Wyzen flying once again. But this time, Wyzen charged straight for Asura and punched him, making him the one who was sent flying.

However, Asura quickly recovered in mid-air, putting him to a stop, and flew straight for Wyzen while holding his fist aimed at his face. When Asura’s fist collided with Wyzen’s head, Asura had gained enough rage to unleash his final attack.

Asura grinned as a short blast of his anger knocked Wyzen away, giving Asura some time to charge towards him. Asura grabbed Wyzen’s face and smacked his head to the ground. He then proceeded with dragging him across the ground and, once satisfied, threw him far away.

Kneeling down from the power he put in the throw, Asura tried to regain some stamina he had lost from the fight. That is, until a bright beam could be seen in the direction of where Wyzen was thrown. Everypony (including Asura, of course) could now see a familiar face appear, a face that was now bigger than the town itself. Asura could see a giant fist heading straight for him. He did not have enough time to avoid it and had to take the blow. He was sent backwards just a few meters away from the giant fist.

“Scared speechless, are you?” A familiar voice could be heard. “While you have slumbered for 12,000 years. We attained new heights! Witness the power, bestowed upon us by our priestess. Your very daughter, Mithra!”

“My daughter.” Asura said, growing angrier by each word he spoke. “Mithra’s power? What did you do. Tell me what you’ve DONE WITH HER!

“You will have to make me.” Wyzen said as he raised a hand into the air and-

Authors notes: To put in music, or to not put in music. That is the question... I'll do it later.

Chapter 8: SKY FU*KING HIGH! YEAH!

“Witness the power, bestowed upon us by our priestess. Your very daughter. Mithra!” Wyzen said, having gained his Vajra form, making him bigger than all of Canterlot.

“My daughter. Mithra's power? What did you do. Tell me what you've DONE WITH HER!” Asura screamed, filled with nothing but rage.

“You will have to make me.” Wyzen said as he raised a hand into the air and smacked it down onto Asura. He then grabbed Asura and threw him far away, laughing while doing so.

Asura was sent flying far away from Wyzen and skidded across the ground a bit before he regained his stance, pulling him to a stop. Asura charged forward at incredible speed and fired some of his projectiles at Wyzen. He quickly spun around and released some of his mantra, sending large missile like projectiles at Wyzen. Wyzen used his biggest arm to shot some projectiles of his own as well, but none of them hit as Asura dodged all of them. This continued until Asura finally reached his target.

Wyzen raised a fist into the air and smacked it down onto Asura. But Asura barely managed to avoid it and jumped up with great force. Thanks to Wyzen hitting the ground, there were pieces of the ground floating in the air that Asura jumped up onto, getting him closer to Wyzen's head. Wyzen tried to grab Asura over and over again, but Asura proved to be faster. Once he got to the final piece of ground that was floating in the air, he jumped up with even greater force than before. He then started to plummet down towards Wyzen's head.

While he was in the air, he fired more of both his rapid and burst fire projectiles. Wyzen fired more of his own projectiles in hopes of hitting his opponent, all of them failing to do so. Asura had finally gained enough rage and used his Burst attack, making him go towards Wyzen in even faster speeds than before. Wyzen tried to punch Asura, but failed doing so. Asura used Wyzen's, now extended arm, to run towards his face. Once he got in range, Asura punched Wyzen with tremendous power, but it was not nearly enough to defeat Wyzen.

Wyzen only grew angrier by the blow he had received and raised both his hands into the air and smacked Asura down to the ground. Wyzen jumped into the air with great force and plummeted down onto Asura in a meditating pose. Asura couldn't do anything, but to hope that it wouldn't hurt too much. Wyzen finally hit the ground. Wyzen got up and started pummeling Asura to death.

There was nothing Asura could do.

Blow after blow.

Hit after hit.

He was doomed.

Everything went dark, seemingly receiving his final punch.

Suddenly, the girl Asura had seen many times before came back, as if being hurt. Asura shot open his eyes, seeing nothing but the ground around him. Wyzen was still punching Asura, knowing Asura would still be alive.

“Can you feel it?” Wyzen said, knowing that Asura was seeing visions of his daughter. “She suffers to atone for your sins. And to bring about, the Great Rebirth! Oh, it is such a tragedy. If you care for your daughter, then kneel before me. You are no longer a Demi God-”

Thats it! Asura thought as he screamed in rage and pulled himself up with blinding speed. He grabbed a hold of Wyzen's fist and tried to push it away with all his might. He grew angrier and angrier, until he finally gained enough anger and unleashed his Vajra form, growing six more arms. Asura easily pushed Wyzen far away into the air. He clenched his fists together and released a pillar of fire from his anger.

Wyzen crashed into the ground. He got up and bellowed "GET HIM!"

Asura turned to his side and spotted Wyzen's ship going into attack position. He readied himself for the barrage of missiles that were fired towards him. Asura managed to grab hold of one of the missiles and punched it back against the ship. The missile collided and caused a fire aboard the ship. Asura rapidly fired several projectiles against the ship, increasing his rage. A single Doji soldier came down to try to stop Asura, but at this point, it was impossible. Asura killed the soldier with a single punch, and after he had done so, he continued his barrage of attacks.

The ship fired several lasers towards him, but Asura unleashed his unlimited mode and was hit by the lasers like they were nothing. Thanks to his unlimited mode, Asura dealt even more damage than before, giving him more rage as well. Asura's attacks continued for just a little while longer, until he had enough rage to perform his Burst attack. Instead of the regular rapid fire, he focused all his anger into one final shot. He fired his last projectile towards the ship. Once it collided, it split the ship in two pieces, blowing the entire ship SKY FUCKING HIGH! YEAH! Ahem... Back to the story.

The ship went past Wyzen, exploding behind him. Asura and Wyzen stared at each other for a moment before speeding away. Asura was at Wyzen's side as he started to rapidly fire his projectiles and his missile-like shots. Wyzen fired several missiles at Asura, but he grabbed one of them and punched it back at Wyzen, making him stagger a bit. After Wyzen regained his stance, he fired several projectiles of his own at Asura. He dodged them all and continued with his attacks. This went on for what seemed like hours, but in reality, it was only a few minutes. Asura could feel a familiar rage inside of him, signaling that he could now use his Burst attack.

Asura jumped high into the air, and so did Wyzen. He was about to punch Asura, but due to Asura's Vajra form, Asura simply grabbed Wyzen's finger and threw him far away into the sky. After Wyzen had regained his stance, he charged up his biggest arm for a much stronger punch.

“Kurikara Fudo Uchi!” Wyzen said as he charge forward. Asura did so as well. Wyzen's fist collided with Asura, but he was much stronger than Wyzen and he pushed Wyzen's fist away and speeded towards his stomach. Wyzen was stuck in place and could not move as Asura continued forward. He did not stop and continued forward, almost going through Wyzen. When Asura was done, he did a final push, sending Wyzen flying into space.

Asura crashed down onto the ground. The ponies cheered for his victory, that is, until a familiar voice could be heard.

“Hmph. Do you think, a mere monkey like you, can defeat a god? Behold, I shall show you our true power. Mantra reactor, release! I call upon the power, of the mantra!” As Wyzen said this, a great light, brighter than the sun, could be seen. After a few moments, the light disappeared and in its place was something big. Very big. It was Wyzen. He had become the size of half the planet!

Nah, just kidding.

“Asura the traitor,” Wyzen spoke. “Asura the destructor. You do not belong in this world. Die!” Wyzen screamed as he started to… Point Asura to death? What? Ahem. On with the story!

Asura and the ponies saw something big was coming their way. Asura grew even angrier at Wyzen’s futile attempt to crush him. He slammed his feet into the ground, securing him in place, for what was about to come. When Wyzen’s finger was close enough, Asura used all his strength to stop Wyzen from crushing him, but it was not enough. Asura lay there, having finally been defeated. Suddenly, everything hit him like a brick wall. Every single memory came back to him. He could hear voices flooding his mind.

“You traitorous filth!”

“No. It wasn’t me!”

“I have decided to save this world.”

“What great rebirth?”

“Your death shall be the foundation of my new world.”

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

Asura shot open his eyes and started to push Wyzen’s finger away from him.

“I… Remember now,” He said. “…You bastards.” Asura let out a thundering scream and started to punch Wyzen’s finger as fast as possible. Punch after punch. Hit after hit. Asura did not stop his barrage of attacks. He had never felt this rage before, but he did not care and just used it for taking down his opponent. After a while, he lost one of his arms, leaving him with only five left... Until he lost four more of them. He built up all of his rage in his last arm, preparing for the final hit. After he had enough rage in his arm, he used all of his might to punch Wyzen's finger as hard as he could, letting out a cry of his wrath while he did so.

Asura's fist crashed into Wyzen's finger with the rage of a million suns. Wyzen's finger started to melt, which started to spread across his entire body.

“We...” Was all he could say before his entire face melted away. He screamed at the agonizing pain he felt.

After his entire head had been melted down, Wyzen exploded

SKY

FUCKING

HIGH!!!

YEAH!

Into thousands of pieces, making it look like fireworks from the ponies point of view. Asura, however, could not see it, as he was face down in the ground, lava flooding the area around him. He could hear a footstep ahead of him. He could hear someone speaking, but it was unintelligible. He pulled himself up as fast as he could and saw a familiar face before him.

For real this time.
