The Strange Case of Applejack

Awakening
As the sun started shining over the horizon, it's sun rays were soon shining over the entire land of Equestria. Princess Celestia had to do this every morning, which wasn't too hard for her. Her very strong magic made it easy to raise the sun. Princess Celestia chose a specific time to raise the sun. Today, it would be 5:42. It was pretty early because the season known as summer started not too long ago. Usually, most of the ponies would be asleep, but there was always one pony that would wake up before sunrise.
"Applebloom! Wake up this instant! We have a big day ahead of us!" Applejack was the one that would always wake up early to get the most out of everyday. "Ugh... Coming..." Applebloom wasn't one of those ponies, but her family was shaping her up to wake up early. The two sisters walked down the stairs and gobbled up a breakfast. Applejack ate an apple tart and a green apple, and Applebloom ate apple yogurt with a red apple."Alright, Applebloom, let's start cleaning the attic!" Applejack was in a hurry to find what she needed to. "What do you need in the attic? That place is where all the old stuff is! Like Granny Smith's old blanket!" Applebloom said. "Look, there's just something that's very important. Just come with me." Applejack led the way to what Applebloom liked to call the "Corner of Creepiness". Applejack pulled the rope hanging from the ceiling, which made a hole appear on the ceiling. A ladder quickly fell into place, which made a loud creaking noise. "Well, time's a wasting!" Applejack said.
"ACHOOO!!!" Applebloom's sneeze broke the silence of the attic. "Boy, it sure is dusty up here." Applebloom stated. "Applejack?" "Yeah, sugarcube?" answered Applejack."Please tell me what we're looking for." asked Applebloom."Alright."
COOL, A FLASHBACK!
About a week ago, I was taking a break of apple bucking while drinking Granny Smith's tasty apple cider. I drank, and then I fell unconscious. When I woke up, I figured that there must've been something in the apple cider. I didn't tell anyone and just put the bottle of apple cider the attic.
Then, last night, I had a dream that was about how I drank the cider and fell unconscious. I thought maybe I should let Twilight run some experiments on the cider.
COOL, THE FLASHBACK ENDED!
"...and that's what we're looking for in the attic." Applejack concluded. Applebloom thought this over and wondered why a pony like Applejack wouldn't tell anyone about this. She decided not to tell her since she has been bombarding her with questions before. "Alright, let's keep on looking."
After about an hour of looking, Applebloom found a bottle of what looked like to be a bottle of flat apple cider. "Ugh, I wouldn't want to drink this." Applebloom said. She brought it to Applejack because she knew this was the right bottle. While Applebloom was going towards Applejack, she was also carrying a bottle of apple cider. " 'K, sugarcube! I got the..." Applejack stopped when she saw that Applebloom had another bottle of apple cider. "Well, we might as well just bring both of them to Twilight." Applejack said.
"Hmmm.... peculiar story, if I have to say." Applejack just told Twilight the story of the apple cider. "Well, I'm not busy, so I guess I could run some tests on both of them to see which one is the one you had." While Applejack and Twilight were talking, Applebloom was in the library getting really bored. She decided to randomly pull out some book and read it. There was an interesting book on the very top shelf of a bookshelf. She grabbed a ladder and started climbing up. She was almost about to grab the book when suddenly she fell to the ground. Twilight and Applejack came running up the stairs to see the filly lying on the ground. "Oh no! Are you O.K?" Twilight was worried about her. "Now Applebloom, don't behave like that in other people's houses!" Applejack was quite stern about that. Right beside Applebloom was the book she was trying to grab. "Oh, I almost forgot!" Twilight lifted the book up with her magic and started flipping the pages. "What is that book called?" Applejack asked. " It's called 'Strange Potions and Powders'." Twilight read a bit of the me!book, every now and then looking at the two bottles. "There should've been some sort
of potion or powder that somepony put in." Twilight said, with worry. "Well, thank ya Twilight. We'll be on our way." Said Applejack with curiosity. "You're welcome, Applejack ! The tests should be done in about 3-4 days!" Twilight waved goodbye as Applejack and Applebloom walked away. "I sure wonder what was in that drink." Applejack thought
The Flying Somepony
While Applejack walked home, with Appleboom asking over a hundred questions, she was thinking about all the possibilities that could happen to her. Turn into a dragon, be a stallion, die... When she came to Sweet Apple Acres, she say a pony flying all around the farm. "Who 'in tarnation is THAT?!!?" said Applejack with an angry voice. "Sorry, Applejack! I am looking for Applejack. Have you seen her?" said Rainbow Dash. Applejack then played around and said "Nope." She fell to the floor laughing, while Rainbow did a face palm. She looked around while blushing to see if any pony saw. Applejack told Applebloom to walk back home and tell Big Mac that she will come home soon. After cooling down, Applejack looked up while saying "Well, what did you need, Rainbow?"
"Well, I needed somepony to watch me while I perform my new and awesome trick." Rainbow Dash replied. "Can't you have Fluttershy watch you or something?" Applejack asked. "Well, I guess it's just that Fluttershy isn't one to understand coolness and be able to witness the awesomeness that I can show." Rainbow Dash was wanting a pony that knew cool, and Applejack was one of them. "Alright then, show me your awesome trick." Applejack finally gave into watching it. "YES! Alright, let's start!" Rainbow Dash flew straight up into the air. Applejack noticed that she probably was doing something that was separate from a Sonic Rainboom. It looked like she was going past the point of going down to do a Sonic Rainboom. She already went above the clouds. For some reason, Applejack felt a tingly feeling on the sides of herself. Then, she heard a scream. Rainbow Dash was falling down and down and down and down so much that I can't fill up this sentence with any more words.
What was strange about this was that Rainbow Dash did not have her wings.
Applejack thought that maybe she could jump up and save her before she falls to her doom. With a hop, spring, and a jump, Applejack was in the air. After being in the air for a couple seconds, Applejack thought that gravity should've acted upon her and brought her down. But as she looked to her body, she noticed something.
She was flapping with wings.
