Zikel, a young man of eighteen is living his life on the streets of the kingdom he was raised in as a child. For nine years, he has lived on his own ever since the murder of his family. He has been surviving by stealing both food and money to keep himself alive. He is known as the "Living Shadow" through the kingdom. When they see him stealing something, his victims never really see who he is, they just see a streak of black run across the ground and vanish into the alley ways of the market. No even lightly armored guards can catch him. That's because Zikel is also a shadowmancer. Which his father taught him before he died. Zikel has been learning and perfecting his style of magic ever since then. making improvements and spins on the form of magic. He even uses it to entertain crowds by performing magic tricks for the young ones.

Yes, even though Zikel lived a hard life, he was a warm and caring man. A dark soul with a golden heart one might say. But as his happiness grew, plague and war started to make its way to their peaceful kingdom, and soon. Murder and death seemed to swallow up the town and its people. Zikel, barely escaping the disaster, looked back at all the people who he had grown to care about were either dying of the sickness or being murdered by the invading forces, felt a rack of guilt and powerlessness overwhelm him.

Then suddenly, a white light comes at him from the sky and swallows him up, vanishing as quickly as it came. He fell into the white void and no later was spat out into a land that was similar to his own…but everything was…bright and colorful, and populated by…ponies? Bright colored talking equines. Zikel also noticed when he gets there, that he isn't human anymore. Has has taken to form of a humanoid like dragon. What the hell had happened to this young man? Is this land his new home now? And where did this form he now had come from?

This no doubt, catches the attention of the rulers of the land. While dragons are that uncommon there, this dragon was a bit different. And the rulers are determined to find out just where he came from and why he was here in Equestria.

(Yes there will be sensual scenes down the road of this story. Also,I am putting in the anthro tag, as he will become an anthro dragon, the ponies will still be ponies. And I will be having musical ques in this one, just as I did in my first story. One more thing, I have no intention of making this character a 'special snowflake' Like my last attempt at a second story was proclaimed…I hate it when people call my main characters a 'gary-su'… I don't like those kind of characters. It seems like you give your character a little bit of power or they look different, people judge the story before it is even read. Keep an open mind please.)
