The Phantom's Ace Inn
The Phantom's Ace Inn. Used to be the most popular Inn in Canterlot. But, once the original owner died, it began to go downhill. Customers didn't come in as often. So, the only person who is ever here, is the Cashier, by the name of Gentleman Ghost. One day, it was like any other day, quiet and boring. The only thing different was the blizzard outside.
Suddenly, a stallion came bursting through the door, freezing, about dead.
"H-hello", he asked, "Is anyone h-here? I-I n-need h-h-help"
The man looked desperate, clinging for his life against the blizzard. Ghost quickly went to help to help the stallion. He put the stallion near the fire, keeping the cold out. Then, he put him in a heated blanket and turned it on. Ghost looks the stallion over. Wordlessly, he passes him the red mixture that he concocted earlier. The main effects of the drink were to warm up the body and revitalize everything in general, however there could be unknown side-effects.
"T-thanks man" said the stallion, "you're a life saver. I came to this inn, because somepony said this place was, um..." He pauses to drink the red mixture "...haunted. Is that true?
Ghost looks at the stallion, confused.
"Oh, sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet.", he says getting up, feeling better, "My name is Kha..."
The stallion passes out mid-sentence, probably being a side effect of the red mixture he just drank.
Ghost smiles. The mixture wasn't normally that potent, but it could sometimes knock out lightweights. Taking his place on the chair behind the counter he waited for the stallion to awaken a short time later.
A hour passes. The stallion wakes up.
"What just happened?", he asked.
Ghost looks up from the book he was just reading.
"You were about to tell me your name. Then you passed out. I guess you're a bit of a lightweight. That's cute."
He smiles.
Well, my name is Khaki Rook", the stallion says, "Ghost Hunter extraordinaire. I came here, because a beautiful mare and her husband told me that this place was haunted. Is that corre- Hey, who are you calling cute and lightweight?"
Ghost laughs. "The only ghost around here is myself. I would know if there where any others. My name is Gentleman Ghost, owner of this establishment."
"Nice to meet you", Khaki says, "Do you know any haunted inns around here?"
"Well, you could try the old Mare's Head Inn down the road", Ghost said, "It's boarded up though, and there's no way to get in. And besides, the storm is far too strong. You'll freeze again if you go out there. Why don't you stay here and wait till it blows over. I'm sure we can find something fun to do!"
Ghost walks around the counter again. With that, Ghost's corporeal form vanishes, leaving a floating monocle in mid air. A giggle echos around the room
"Oh, I see what's going on here.", says Khaki
Khaki takes out his ghost trapper, sucking the ghost inside of it, trapping him forever.
"Well, I guess he was a...", he says putting his shades on, "...Mother-Father-Gentleman." He leaves as the CSI theme music kicks in. He gets in his wagon and drives to the old Mare's Head Inn to investigate it.

No, but seriously, I am still looking for the right story on Pony Square to publish. These things take time to not just make, but also to find people to make the story with, people who want to let the story be published on some random website, and the right Pony Square Chatroom, one not being to crazy and not being NSFW. Heck, maybe I won't even finish this. Maybe this will be just the one story, and that being it. And again, thanks to Gentleman Ghost for letting me put this story up, as long as he was credited for the work. Now, since I don't have anything else to say, and I need at least a thousand words to submit this, I guess I'll just repeat the letter "A" over and over again. Maybe, maybe not. I don't know.
