Ratchet is awoken once again. A new objective is on the horizon for her when she learns the location of a MAS facility that could hold another cryopod. Ratchet meets a friend from her past and together with her assistant Cora, the three of them set out to investigate the facility.

Among the three of them and the possible pod's occupant is one, a star, that used to shine brightly. However this star has begun to fade away. Will the star continue to fade or shine ever brighter?
