Chapter 60 and then there was Ash

It was early morning at Aephoceria and the young princes Pip and Midnight were watching Ash as he was training on a Training Gollum within the guards' training grounds.

"Go, Daddy, go!" Midnight cheered.

The Gollum uttered an angered gruntle as it raised its sword for an overhead strike.

The blade came down and Ash parried the attack before in one swift move the golem's head was sent flying from its shoulders.

The Golum stayed standing for a few seconds before the metal started to give and it started falling to the side. When it landed, the lumps of metal made a loud thud as a dust cloud was created.

"Didn't even break a sweat note to self-increase difficulty," Ash said as he sheathed his weapon.

"Yeah! Daddy won!" Midnight shouted before flying up to Ash and hugging him around the neck.

Ash merely chuckled before embracing his son in a hug with a chuckle.

"You enjoy the show?" Ash asked.

"Uh-huh. I liked it when you went between its legs and made it hit himself there. It was hilarious," Midnight said as Pip teleported over to them, he looked proud about it, seeing as this was his first successful teleport where he didn't burn his mane or tail.

"Yeah, that was funny so what were you both up to before you saw me...avoiding Starswirl?" Ash asked.

Hearing this the two colts visibly flinched causing Ash to shake his head with a smile.

"Now boys you know better," Ash said.

"But his lessons...and besides it's the weekend," Pip stated.

"I know but it's only for one day of the weekend and it's royal etiquette you both are princes of Equestria you need to learn these things," Ash said causing the boys to look down at their hooves. "Hey, I wouldn't ask you to do this if it wasn't important."

"You could at least ask him to make his lessons more entertaining," Pip said while leading Midnight back toward the castle.

"I'll ask but don't expect miracles," Ash said before leading his sons inside to find the old wizard.

After navigating through the halls, we found ourselves in front of a large door with arcane and rune marks all along the door.

Ash knocked on the door twice and waited patiently for a response.

Suddenly, there was a small explosion on the other side of the door, followed by a string of curses. "Dammit all!"

Immediately cautioning his sons to back away Ash slowly opened the door to be greeted by a fog of smoke before using his arms to fan it away.

"Starswirl are you okay?" Ash called.

From behind a desk holding an assortment of knick-knacks, Starswirl lifted himself from the floor with his beard blackened by whatever caused the explosion, and his eyebrows were burnt off. "No worse for wear. But my project for night vision turned out to be rather…combustible." He then saw the two princes and then looked at the clock. "Dear me, is it already that time?"

Indeed...but first." Ash said before snapping his fingers and restoring Starswirl to his former appearance. "Hard to take you seriously when you look like a smoking chimney and missing your eyebrows."

"I was missing my eyebrows?"

"Alright you two, learn well," Ash told his sons before hugging them.

"We will, Dad," Pip answered before they broke the hug and took their seats.

"Oh, and Starswirl...remember our discussion about less lecture more action," Ash whispered so only he and the wizard could hear.

"Ah of course," Starswirl stated before Ash departed.

Ash was soon heading to the the dining room to make himself some lunch and upon entering the dining room he stumbled upon Diamond Cutter.

"Oh hello, Diamond Cutter are you grabbing some lunch too?" Ash asked as he took a seat.

"Indeed. How is your day going?" She asked Ash as he sat across from her.

"Not just finished convincing my sons to take their lessons in etiquette...don't get me wrong they are well-behaved boys but they can be rather restless," Ash explained.

"I assume they take after their father in that department," She said with a smirk just as Perfect Serve came out with two Porterhouse steaks with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus.

"Mmm looks fantastic Serve as usual," Ash said earning a smile and bow from the chef before he looked at Diamond. "And yeah you may be right on that but from what I've been told Luna was just as restless seeking adventure wherever she went.

"Thank you," Diamond said with a smile directed at Serve who nodded, bowed, and then returned to the kitchen.

"That's not true at all," Ash and Diamond turned to see Luna enter the dining room with a slightly miffed expression. "If you must know, Tia was the one that liked to sneak off and head to the taverns for fun."

"Oh then tell me who turned one of Faust's maps into a crown, used a cardboard tube as a scepter, and claimed herself Queen of The Pebble Kingdom?" Ash asked causing the mare to blush bright red.

"Activities, before I was eight, don't count," Luna pouted as she was handed a butterleaf and daisy salad. "Thank you, Perfect."

Ash merely chuckled at the expression on his wife's face.

"Anyone tell you you look adorable when you puff your cheeks out like a puffer fish." Ash teased.

"And you talk too much," Luna playfully retorted before digging into her lunch.

Ash stuck his tongue out at his Alpha playfully.

As time passed, the three talked about familiar things, mainly before the war and invasion. While Diamond was telling them about her adventure in her old diamond mine, Moon came in with Alora sleeping soundly in her arms.

"Seem like a party in here," Moon said.

"Hm oh hey Moon we were just grabbing some lunch would you like me to order you something?" Ash asked.

"Nothing too big. I had a big breakfast," She said while sitting next to Diamond. "Good to see you again, Diamond."

"Likewise...all tuckered out is she?" Diamond asked as she looked at the sleeping alicorn.

"Yes. Seems she had a full day being cute," Moon teased her daughter while Alora squeezed her finger in her sleep.

"I envy that...to be ignorant of the world and the dangers within it," Diamond commented.

"Hopefully, this will all be over before she has to see such things," Moon said while cradling her daughter.

"Yeah...." Ash sighed.

Just then, he felt Luna's lips on his cheek. "Don't feel discouraged. We know you'll defeat Dainn and this will one day be a distant memory."

Ash smiled at this and nuzzled his wife in turn before Serve brought out a small bowl of soup and set it down before Moon.

After lunch, Ash was left to wander the halls once more.

"Is this how you spend your days?"

"Usually Deorgien...other times I am busy tending to paperwork as King of these lands," Ash explained to the dragon of storms.

"Pah I will never understand for such a waste of time if you want something done you should just see it done or get someone else to do it," Deorgien said.

"It was that attitude that got you in your current position, to begin with, remember," Ash said.

"Still bored," Bozzer grumbled. "Let's fight something. Something big!"

"Oh brother, like what?" Ash asked in annoyance.

"I saw this one mare enter the unicorn shop, she looked pretty big," Bozzer suggested.

"Fat jokes? Really?" Atidi asked with an annoyed tone.

"Y'know I'm beginning to wish you all stayed quiet," Ash commented.

"Shouldn't have taken your blood back, that's on you, buddy," Zedim said. "Now, unless you want to hear us sing show tunes, get to the training area."

“What show tunes last I checked you guys were killed before those things were invented," Ash said.

"We're in your head, did you think we wouldn't look for something to entertain ourselves?" Deorgien asked.

"Right," Ash said before teleporting to the training arena for the second time that day.

Once arriving Ash casually summoned his weapons out of habit before he took out Whispering Wind and began to to do a few sword swing exercises.

"You're not gonna need those," Zedim said.

"I know but it would be a good idea since I need to wear them when I'm using your power in the future," I responded casually.

As Ash pondered what training exercise to run, a dim light surrounded the edge of the arena, unnoticed by the god. Soon, the loose stones started to lift off the ground and a humming started to sound as the stones and sand circled the arena at a steadily growing pace. Just as Ash picked a routine and music to play along, he became aware of what was going on.

"The hell?!" Ash said as the grip on his blade tightened.

Before he could react, the light shot up and created a dome before rapidly sinking on top of Ash.

Ash out of instinct raised his hands and shielded his eyes and when the light faded Ash lowered his hand and saw he was standing on a machine and was surrounded by thousands of caribou.

A caribou with a scientific look about him was checking the machine. "This isn't right. It should've opened a portal, not bring somebody here."

Suddenly, one of the soldiers at the front of the line pointed right at Ash. "It's Lord Ash! We brought him back from the dead and now he'll lead us to take over the world!"

"You've got to be fucking with me," Ash growled in his mind as he looked about at the soldiers.

"Oh, good training dummies," Bozzor said.

"Indeed so which of us should start training him first," Zedim said.

"Let me have a crack at it," Deorgien said while electricity started to flow through Ash's veins. "A storm is brewing!"

Ash noticed his veins were glowing blue and this seemed to confuse The Caribou as well.

*"Okay what are we doing?" Ash asked.

"Under normal circumstances, I would have had you do this on your own but seeing as how this is an opposing force I and the others are gonna shall we say give you a jump-start to harnessing our power...feel the power coursing through you and remember this sensation," Deorgien stated.

While Ash was feeling the flow of this new power, the lead scientist stepped forward. "My Lo-Grrk!" He was cut off when Ash grabbed him around the neck and let the storm inside him let loose. "Aaaargh!" The electric sparks focused on the caribou's head, melting the flesh from his bones and charring the bone. When his eyes popped and tongue set aflame, Ash threw him before the army before him.

"What the hell!" One of the caribou shouted in terror when they saw the mangled corpse.

"Not bad would have preferred if you sent out a large blast but you got the basic gist of it now let's see how you generate wind with your wings even in large enclosed spaces like this if there is an opening even a small one the wind can still slice through your opponents," Deorgien said as he sent the required power through Ash's body making him feel lighter.

Ash then outstretched his wings and took to the air just above the army before he used his wings to generate a gust of wind the result several caribou were sliced in half from the attack.

At this point, the caribou were scrambling for cover or the exit. Some were brave, or just stupid and tried to fight back. "Now, release the winds, make them feel the might of a hurricane!" Deorgien shouted.

The next attack Ash used was aimed below him and created a funnel of wind it was then dived down and began to fly around the wind funnel which made said funnel grow in size soon becoming a tornado making the Elder Dragon of winds cackle with laughter.

"You take to this like a fish to water!" Deorgien shouted.

"It helps that I saw you pull this trick off firsthand," Ash replied.

The vortex of wind began to suck in caribou from all over dragging them into death.

While a few suffocated from the air being sucked out of their lungs, the rest were flung around like ragdolls and splattered against the floor and various objects, leaving bloody stains everywhere.

While the forces were dealing with the tornado Ash decided to make his escape.

"Hey, what the fuck there were still enemies back there," Deorgien stated.

"Let the tornado deal with them right now I'm more concerned about where we are and what the fuck is going on problem," Ash commented.

"And, where would we be?" Atidi asked before Ash stumbled upon a directory. "Convenient."

"Indeed," Ash said as he placed his finger against the map and began to drag it over till he found an X marking the location. "Bloody hell this place is a mountain with miles of tunnels running through it place is more like an anthill at this point."

"Hmm, it seems we just escaped from the research lab. Though why it was that size is beyond me," Zedim commented as Ash kept looking for a direct route towards the exit. As Ash kept looking, he stumbled upon a sign that read holding cell/breeding rooms.

"Change of plans we're not going to the exit," Ash said when he noted three more points of interest such as the re-education room, armory, and power room.

Zedim acknowledged what was happening and flooded Ash's veins with what might as well be molten lava. "Guess it's time we burn the ants out of their home."

The feeling in Ash's blood was hot he hadn't experienced this kind of heat since the day he fought Zedim suddenly Ash heard a war cry and saw a caribou charging him with a sword so Ash used his arm to block the attack even if he knew he would have to sacrifice his arm but when the blade came down the blade melted against Ash's skin stunning the both of them.

The caribou tried to back away, till Ash grabbed one of his antlers, and his head immediately caught on fire.

However, since the flames were so intense the caribou's head was almost immediately ash and cinder before the body fell to the floor.

"Bloody hell you mean to tell me you four were going around with this much power?" Ash asked.

Zedim chuckled a bit. "We're primordial dragon lords. Aside from titans, we're the embodiments of our elements."

Suddenly Ash heard an alarm sounding followed by an alarm and was soon followed by an announcement on a loudspeaker of his location before he noticed some kind of orb sitting up in a corner with an eye inside of it looking at him.

"Must be some kind of magic security camera," Ash stated.

"It looks creepy. Destroy it!" Bozzor demanded.

"You got the firepower boy use it let's see you do it like a dragon and don't worry we both know what I could do with a full-powered blast so I'll cut it down for you," Zedim stated.

Ash could feel the power bubbling in his lungs so Ash took a deep breath and unleashed a torrent of flames upon the orb and wall from his mouth after five seconds Ash stopped and saw the wall had been reduced to magma and the orb gone.

"We may want to head over to the power room it will keep their eyes off of us," Ash said.

"Aren't those in the center of a base this size?" Atidi asked.

"No, I remember seeing it at the bottom," Ash said as he rounded a corner and saw a set of cargo elevators Ash forcibly opened the cage doors and looked down at the abysmal darkness of the elevator shaft. "Going down."

With that Ash jumped into the shaft and descended rapidly to the required floor where the power generators were located.

With a flare of his wings, he stepped onto the ground and saw the hydroelectric dam that powered the base. The feeling in his veins changed once again. He felt like he was in the middle of an ocean, feeling the waves crashing and churning. This was the work of Atidi.

"I'm confident you have seen what an intense pressure stream of water can do," Atidi said causing Ash to look at the massive body of water and generators before it all clicked.

So using the magic Atidi provided Ash pulled a massive orb of water forth and then he began to compress it till all the water was the size of a tennis ball.

Ash then focused the ball at the generator before releasing a stream towards them and because of the enormous pressure on the water, the water began to cut clean through the generator.

Debris from the generator soon flew everywhere, the electricity that was generated spider-webbed all over the room, and a large rumble soon echoed across the room and beyond.

Suddenly water began to flood the room gushing in from the broken machinery and the lights flickered and died only to be replaced by lights that had a dimmer glow than the first which meant an emergency generator had been activated.

"Now then time to head up to the prisoner block," Ash said to himself as he felt Atidi's power dim.

Making his way through the complex Ash encountered various squads which he quickly dealt with thanks to his skills as a swordsman before he arrived at the prisoner black and saw many male yaks there along with a few other species.

"Hey stop right there!"

Turning around Ash saw a lone bulky caribou armed with a large backpack and carrying what Ash assumed was a modified Telsa Coil.

Ash was momentarily curious about the device when suddenly it began to produce a strange hum before a blast of lightning shot towards Ash sending him flying into the far wall.

"Ow," Ash muttered as he worked to recover his senses from the attack of arc energy.

"Might want to fight fire with fire," Deorgien said as electricity coursed through my veins again.

Feeling the sensation I returned fire upon the buck and the caribou did not even have the time to scream as a hole was blown through his chest.

"Shocking, isn't it?" I asked no one in particular before heading for the control room.

"Yeah, that was terrible." I thought before slapping myself upside the head.

I then made my way over to the controls of the cell doors and saw the cell door controls were still operating so after pushing a large red emergency release button all the cells opened.

The doors opened slowly, but that didn't stop the occupants from charging out of their cells. But that's yaks for you. Once they were all out I went down to instruct them on where to go from here.

"Alright guys listen up I need-." I began only to be sent flying back once more by one of the Yaks charging at me.

"Yaks smash fake Ash!" The Yak that knocked the god down yelled.

"Right, they think I'm one of those God Hands." Ash groaned.

"Might want to demonstrate who you are," Zedim suggested.

"Kinda hard to do that when these guys are the physical embodiment of stubborn," Ash said before he rolled out of the way of one of the Yak.

Avoiding another Yak I tried to think of a way to convince them I was on their side when suddenly there was a cry of pain which drew many eyes including mine and I saw there was a squad of God Hands at the only doors in or out of this room and they had crushed the wrist of one of the Yaks thus the source of the scream.

"All prisoners return to their cells." One of the God Hands demanded using a robotized version of my voice that made my stomach curl. "You have ten seconds to comply."

Once the God Hand said it the others drew weapons of a sci-fi design.

"I think I just found my way to prove myself." I thought.

"Destroy the God Hands?" Zedim asked.

"Obviously." Ash thought before teleporting behind the squad of God Hands.

Drawing his sword Ash impaled it into one of the lookalikes causing it to sputter and malfunction before it began to shut down drawing the other's attention Ash then rolled over the Hand and pulled out his blade while rolling and when he set both feet on the ground Ash sliced off another Hand's leg before impaling Whispering Wind into the cheap copy's head.

The mechanical monstrosity belched out a mechanical scream as oil bled from the wound.

"Agh!" I groaned as some of the oil spilled in through my helmet's eye holes and into my face causing me to work to wipe it away.

Just as I was cleaning the oil from my face, one of the bastards with my face blindsided me from the left.

I was struck by the pommel of one of the Hand's battleaxe leaving me disoriented for a second but thanks to my helmet taking most of the blow I was quick to recover and avoid having my head cut off before I grabbed the axe wrested it from the lookalike and decapitated him in turn.

As I turned to face the next God Hand, I was surprised to see a young Yak with looped braids in her hair, bashed the head with a stone bench ripped from the wall from inside one of the cells.

However, the bench shattered upon contact and it drew The Hand's attention from me allowing me to cut it down at the knees causing it to fall onto its back before I sheath my blade into its eye socket thus finishing off the last one.

With a moment to collect ourselves, the young Yak walked up to me. "Yona know you. Yona read all about you in Princess Twilight's school."

Removing my helm I looked down at the young female Yak who I recognized to be Yona one of the so-called Young 6 from Twilight's school.

"And I know you Yona of Yakyakistan it is a pleasure to meet you," Ash said while giving a polite bow.

Still unconvinced, the largest Yak, who to my surprise was Rutherford himself, pushed past the others and got in my face. "Yaks tired of Caribou tricks! Yaks no trust puny imposter!"

"Prince Rutherford...remember how we met?" Ash asked.

Rutherford seemed confused but was taken aback when Ash suddenly picked him up in a bear hug before slamming the Yak prince down on the ground.

After the action, the Yaks looked ready to charge the god and trample him, however, Rutherford sprang up from the ground and gave out a hearty laugh. "Ash!" The Yak king then grabs the god and squeezes him with all his might before slamming him onto the ground. "It is you. Rutherford missed you!"

"Likewise Rutherford first thing's first I need you to get out of here there should be an exit three floors above I'll follow once I deal with one last place," Ash said as he provided a map of the building and directions for the Yaks.

"Yaks no run! Yaks stay and fight with friend Ash!" Rutherford proclaimed while many of his subjects agreed.

"Don't you worry about that and if it's a fight you want I can assure you the way out will be guarded...besides when we're done here I intend to bring this entire mountain down around me and I don't want you here when I do that," Ash explained.

Rutherford rubbed his chin in thought before nodding his head once. "Yaks live with that. Charge!" Rutherford led his people toward the exit in a full-on stampede. Ash would not envy anyone caught in that.

Just as Ash was about to head to his destination, he felt a tug on his armor and found it was Yona who stopped him. "Yona thank you for saving us. You are a good friend."

At this Ash merely smiled.

"You'd best get out of here we can talk later," Ash said to which Yona nodded.

Once Yona had left Ash placed his helmet back on before moving to his next destination.

"So, where to now?" Zedim asked as Ash moved further into the base.

"Two floors up," Ash said before he took the stairs upon reaching the floor Ash made his way over to a pair of double doors marked with a sign that said re-education center.

“Ugh! I hate education. Makes my head hurt," Bozzor grumbled in Ash's head.

"Not that kind of education," Ash said before booting open the doors.

Within the room were several gadgets and gizmos but what pissed off Ash were several females lying down strapped to padded benches with a contraption placed over their heads to hold them in place forcing them to stare into a screen that had a spiral spinning on it no doubt to brainwash females into willing sex slaves.

All around the room, the sound of moaning, gasping, and yells of ecstasy were being played in the background, thanks to surround sound speakers. Not only that but a familiar voice, one Ash was very familiar with, Dainn, was spouting slogans such as 'Females are the lowliest creatures. Cock is more precious than food, water, and air' and so on.

"Hey!"

Turning to the source of the shout Ash saw a large caribou wearing an eyepatch walk out from behind some kind of control area.

"I didn't send for any God Hand get out of here ya walking scrap h-ugh!" The caribou began as he walked up to Ash only to have the wind knocked out of him by a punch from Ash to the caribou's stomach Ash then made his way over to the controls and began to turn everything off and then he went about undoing the restraints and suddenly he herd thumping coming from another room so Ash went to investigate and saw many glass tubes in the room half of them were nearly or halfway full of a white liquid but that's not all Ash saw females inside of the tubes thrashing about inside.

Seeing this Ash wasted no time and proceeded to find the emergency shut off and when he did the white substance drained from the tubes before Ash proceeded to open the tubes and as he did he noticed writing on many of the mare's bodies all of them saying the same thing 'did not swallow'

"This is fucking sick!" Ash growled in his mind as he helped the woman by summoning blankets to cover their naked bodies.

"What the fuck are you doing you worthless pile of tin!" The caribou bellowed while entering the room with his hand around his stomach and what looked like an electric cowprod.

Ash decided that this scum was not worth wasting his breath over and just stood up and glared at him behind his helmet.

"I'll teach you to strike me you junk heap!" The caribou shouted as he charged Ash.

As the caribou made to strike, Ash dodged the strike before delivering a blow to the caribou's hand disarming him Ash grabbed him by his shirt and then threw the one-eyed caribou into one of the tubes and locked him in.

As the caribou swore and bashed against the chamber, Ash flipped the switch to fill the chamber, then broke it off.

The tube began to fill up with the substance Ash could only assume was sperm and the caribou seemed frantic as he tried hitting the glass harder but to no avail his survival instincts screaming at him pounding his fists and head against the glass till he drew blood but the dube didn't even crack all the while the white fluid kept filling the tube.

Soon, the jizz went up above the bastard's neck and as he kept yelling, it would go right down his throat. He tried to spit it out, only for more to enter his gullet.

Seeing the scum bag would soon drown Ash decided to take his leave and he explained to the women to follow him which they all did.

Leaving the re-education center Ash knew they would have to cut through several rooms to catch up with the Yaks and leave the facility.

One such room turned out to be the facility armory which was full of ammunition and weapons including those lightning weapons things from before after a brief look at a desk, Ash saw development blueprints for the devices which according to the blueprints the Caribou were calling the devices Arc Cannons.

"Hmm, a way to harness the power of a storm. Very nice," Deorgien said as Ash looked at the blueprints.

"I'd be impressed if only I hadn't seen this tech before...molded after flamethrowers with the power supply being on the back...this will cause a problem in the future." Ash thought before he saw another set of blueprints for some kind of device that rested on the wielder's chest.

"My advice, destroy everything. Cripple their development and leave them holding their dicks in confusion," Zedim suggested.

"Good Idea." Ash thought before turning to the women. "You lot head through that door and exit out from the hanger there should be a great many Yaks outside waiting I have to deal with everything here."

The females only nodded before they followed Ash's words and departed Ash began to scan the armory and soon found remote detonating explosives.

"These'll do nicely," Ash said.

"Kaboom, kaboom, kaboom!" Ash heard Bozzor yell in his head.

Once the explosives were set Ash picked up the detonator and departed the armory once outside and a fair way away Ash pressed the button which resulted in a massive boom that created a shock wave that pushed Ash forward almost knocking him over but he continued towards the hanger and upon arrival he saw the Yaks and females were there but their exit was cut off by rows of Caribou.

"Back to your cells, or we'll open fire and scoop up what remains!" The lead caribou said while aiming a handgun at Rutherford.

Ash steadily pushed his way to the front of the Yaks and females and stood his ground against the opposing force.

"Might I suggest we use a fireball and roast this arrogant gnat," Zedim suggested.

Ash silently agreed and charged up the required power into his right arm before he launched the fireball at the commanding officer suddenly there was a terrible sound that echoed through the air and the fireball dissipated but not only that it brought Ash to his knees along with every prisoner who could use magic all of whom were clutching their heads in agony.

Despite the sound Ash was able to determine where it was coming from and saw several caribou armed with some kind of box resting on their chest that was operated by a crank and despite them having magic users of their own they were otherwise unaffected.

The lead Caribou chuckled before walking up to Ash. "So, you thought you could just show up here," He kicked him in his side. "kill all my men," Another kick. "free my prisoners," A kick to the head this time. "and you expect to just walk out alive?" He then presses his hoof on his neck. "Just what do you take me for?"

"Ugh...A dead man walking." Ash groaned.

"Yes... you are." The Caribou then flared Demonic Angel wings, making him one of Dainn's elite. One of his underlings brings him a gun. "Any final words, or did you already say them?"

"Yeah, I got two...Yak's Smash!" Ash shouted.

Rutherford and all the Yaks then began to jump and pound on the ground which resulted in shaking the earth and threw the caribou off balance while that was happening Ash sucker punched the commander knocking him onto his back before Ash drew Salvation, took aim, and fired at the music boxes the caribou were using and managed to shoot them all.

When the boxes were destroyed, they shorted out and exploded, killing the caribou carrying them as well as canceling the magic-stopping power.

"Now then what say we finish this up?" Ash said as he stood up and cracked his fingers.

"Arc cannons!" The commander shouted.

The caribou wielding the arc cannons moved to fire but Ash moved to call on the power of Deorgien once more so that when the cannons fired the lightning moved toward the individuals behind Ash. But, Ash stretched out his left hand and the lightning redirected towards Ash's hand.

Now using a trick that Deorgien didn't teach him When the lightning hit Ash he was momentarily stunned by the sudden surge but recovered before he seized control of the artificial lighting within him and began to direct it through his body before conjuring it into his right hand.

When the lightning emerged the lightning was turned into a set of bolts of lightning instead of a continuous stream and the bolts were coloured a bright red.

"Well, I was wondering when you were gonna bring those out," Deorgien said.

The caribou were in shock they forgot to keep firing the arc cannons.

"My turn," Ash replied before he hurled the bolts of red lightning at the caribou.

The caribou screamed in both panic and pain as the lightning struck at them. The Yaks took the opportunity to take their revenge and stomp the puny caribou.

And it wasn't just them some of the captive females wanted payback.

"Now then," Ash said as he drew his sword and pointed it at the caribou commander. "It's just you and me bub."

"How unfortunate for you," The commander said before drawing his blade and preparing to make the first blow.

Ash used his flash step to close the distance before clashing blades against the buck.

The commander was surprised by the speed but fought the god for all his stolen worth.

"You bastard I didn't claw my way up to this position just to be dispatched!" The commander growled as he made to take a swing at Ash but Ash simply took a step back to avoid the weapon.

"Afraid your ambition is about to be cut short," Ash said as he stepped forward to attack.

"Rarrgh!" The commander yelled in rage before rushing to split Ash in half.

Ash dodged the attack and swung his sword to the side, severing the commander's wings off his back.

"Gah!" The commander yelled in agony as the wings fell and the commander collapsed from the pain.

"Too easy I thought you bastards would have at least trained more with the power you stole from me but I guess I was worried over nothing," Ash said as he shouldered his blade.

"From you!" The commander seethed through the pain. "This was a gift from Lord Ash! And you took it from me!" He roared before firing a blast of magic at Ash.

Ash dodged the blast where it flew towards and shattered the ceiling before Ash used Whispering Wind and impaled the blade into the buck's arm causing him to scream in agony before Ash placed his foot on the other arm effectively pinning the commander and once he was pinned Ash decided to remove his helm before placing it on the ground before he grabbed the commander by the armor and pulled him in close as far as he was able to.

"Stole it is the words I'd use and now I take it back," Ash growled with barely restrained rage.

The commander's fire from earlier disappeared and was replaced with pure terror. "Lord Ash. I beg you, show mercy!"

Ash simply curled his fingers into a fist and reeled back his arm.

"I have none for you besides a quick and painless death," Ash stated.

Ash's fist lunged forward and the impact had rendered the commander's head a bloody smear on the ground with bits of bone, brain matter, and a single eyeball scattered across the floor.

As the commander's body started to turn cold, the fight around Ash died down as the caribou soldiers lay broken, beaten, or just plain dead.

"Rutherford if we are done here I recommend we leave," Ash said.

"Yaks like that idea." Rutherford nodded before leading his people to the exit.

Ash followed them and escorted them away from the mountain before stopping and turning to face said mountain with a glare.

"Bozzor wanna help me out with this one?" Ash asked.

"With pleasure!" The ancient earth dragon said as Ash felt the very earth shake beneath his feet.

With a swing of his right arm and a roar of determination, Ash struck the ground with his right fist resulting in the ground to tremble and quake violently.

Cracks appeared on the mountain before Ash before it suddenly began to collapse in on itself reducing the fortress within to crushed rubble.

The Yaks whooped and hollered and began smashing the nearby shrubbery in celebration of the destruction of their prison.

So...how did it feel to use our power?" Zedim asked.

"Weird but it feels like I barely scratched the surface of what it can do," Ash responded.

"If only that," Zedim said in Ash's head. "Keep training, and we'll show you how to be a real dragon."

"Real dragon...sure," Ash said as he looked down at his hand.

"Friend Ash!" Rutherford said before coming up and hugging him. "You save Yaks! Yaks throw Ash party!"

"Ugh...that's appropriate...but might I suggest we return to my home first...I know Pinkie will want to see you." Ash stated.

"That works too," Rutherford said before dropping Ash on the ground and giving him a hard pat on the back.

"Things are about to get louder back home that's for sure." Ash thought.

The small force made it back to Aephoceria without further hassle thanks mostly to Ash teleporting the lot to Aephoceria upon arrival Pinkie was immediately on the scene to greet her Yak buddies who were, in turn, happy to see her where whereas Ash had a different greeting to see too.

"Care to explain where you were?" Luna demanded as Ash walked over to the doors to enter the palace.

"Gate malfunction, instead of caribou coming here they pulled me across the land to their fortress. Didn't get a chance to say goodbye." Ash explained.

"A few years ago, that would have sounded ridiculous. Now it just seems like a regular Tuesday for us," Luna sighed before following Ash through the corridors. "Anything else happens?"

Seems the caribou who injected themselves with my blood ain't all that experienced with it...but they are improving their arsenal." Ash stated before he turned to kiss Luna on the lips. "But these are problems for later."

Luna smiled back before returning the kiss. "You're right. These things can wait another day at least. Until then, Pinkie has a party for the Yaks, and we must not miss it."

"Just stow my gear and I'll be right there," Ash responded.

"Don't take too long," Luna said as she turned to leave and as she did she lifted her tail and dragged it along the underside of Ash's chin as she walked away.

"Fucking love that mare." Ash thought before he snapped his fingers and his armor and weapons vanished before he ran off after his Alpha Mare.
