There was nothing but endless night at an unknown location, there was nothing but desert as far as the eye can see, everything seemed ordinary until up ahead there seemed to be something that looked like something you wouldn't see in a desert. A dark van was driving its way to the unknown location. It stopped at what looked like a toll road, in it was some sort of security guard with dark hi-tech armor and helmet that concealed his face. The driver of the van rolled down the window and was wearing the same suit, he showed the guard his ID. At that, the guard flipped the switch that opened the huge metal door that was at the front. The van proceeded to go in, revealing what was behind, it was a huge facility with numerous armored individuals patrolling, the van stopped and the driver went into the entrance of the facility, as he walked he passed by numerous scientists conducting unique experiments, he went to a door labeled 'Control Room'. Putting the code in, he went into a room filled with huge screens, many people were at work with communication headgears. At the center was an adult olive-skinned male with thick glasses in a business uniform with brown hair that was graying.

"Still nothing on your end?" he asked on the phone. "Very well keep me updated in case you have any news." Closing the phone he looked at the screens with a serious look, the guard then walked up to him.

"Doctor Wentworth, I have the recent report you asked for." he told him, holding a case.

"Finally, you guys took forever." Dr. Wentworth said annoyed, he took the case and opened, inside was a hard drive. He then downloaded its contents into a nearby computer. After a few minutes, the information presented itself, as he read its contents, his expression perked up in surprise. "Interesting. Everyone, stop what you're doing, there is an important matter we must discuss" he ordered, the scientists obeyed and looked to him.

"What is it doctor?"

"Strike Troop 478 has just come back with new data." He handed the drive to the scientist next to him. "Put it on screen. He nodded and complied with the order, after a few moments the data stored in the drive presented itself on the giant screen for all to see. "From the information that they've gathered, they have detected yet another anomaly, and as you can see it bears the same unknown energy signature as the last three." This surprised gasps from everyone in the room. "And like before the source was the same location, it was in the vicinity of the area known as Canterlot."

"Again sir? That's the fourth time these past few months."

"Indeed, there's obviously something going on there, and like always it is somehow linked with Canterlot High School." he said bringing up a photo of the school, it included most of its students along with a few from Crystal Prep Academy. "Now I believe we should-" the doctor cut himself off as something in the picture caught his eye. The others took notice and were confused.

"Doctor is something wrong?"

"Zoom in." he said.

"What?"

"Zoom in to the center of that photo." the screen did as he said and focused onto the center of the picture, there was a studious looking girl, she had purple skin and hair, with a pink streak, but what really caught his attention was the small canine she was holding in her arms, as soon as the doctor saw him, memories from events that transpired years ago began to flood his head. "Could it really be-" he decided to consult with the guard who gave him the drive. "Do you have anything else besides the hard drive?" Dr. Wentworth inquired.

"As a matter of fact, I was actually planning on talking to you about well, you know." the guard pointed to the dog, he then pulled out a datapad. "We had to be sure, so we had one of the drones scan him covertly." Wentworth took the pad and saw the results of said scan, it pretty much confirmed his suspicions.

"I'll be dipped, it-it really is him." he breathed. After all these years of searching the entire globe, to have finally found him and at the location they've been monitoring for months now no less. "I need to go!" he took the drive and the pad and hastily got out of the room, he pushed passed other guards and scientists, bumping into a few until he made it. In front of him was a huge metal door that had a sign that read 'RESTRICTED'. He put his eye close to a scanner, placed his hand on a mat, and finally put in the passcode. The doors open automatically and he wasted no time in entering. The room was pitch black, the only thing that could be seen was a circular platform with a computer, where he walked to. After a brief moment of silence, three giant screens turned on viewing white silhouettes of three unspecified individuals.

"Dr. Wentworth, for what reason did you contact us?" a deep male voice heard from the center asked.

"It had better be of importance." a female voice to the left stated.

"Superiors." the doctor bowed his head. "I have recently acquired information that would greatly benefit us." he declared.

"Explain." another male voice on the right demanded.

Dr. Wentworth stepped forward to the computer and downloaded the data on both the drive and the pad to their locations. "A few minutes ago, one of our strike teams gave us their daily report, they detected another anomaly."

"Again?" the center figure asked in slight surprise. "Hmm, at the same location as before no doubt. However, is hat is all you have to tell us?"

"Not even close." the doctor grinned. "The data in the pad will show you. Once it went through the three commanding figures shared a moment of silence before addressing the doctor.

"You are certain that this information is accurate?" the female figure asked.

"I double-checked while I was on my way here. Believe me, it's true." Wentworth said with unquestioned certainty. "Don't you all see? We have been given the chance to finish what we started years ago. We know where is, what he looks like now, I mean he's still a dog, but worry not I have ways of restoring him. I only ask that you give me the necessary resources, once he have him back we can work on searching for the others." The figures debated for a moment before giving him their answer.

"Very well doctor, we will supply you with everything you require." the center figure told him making hi smile with satisfaction. "But know this, if you fail to contain him once again, then we shall find a new head of our science division." the figure said with a stern tone. Understood?

"Crystal sir." Wentworth gulped.

"As you were." the three screens turned off, leaving the doctor alone, wiping off sweat from his head, he got out of the dark room, he saw that someone was waiting outside. He was an adult male wearing the same armor the guards were wearing, only it was covered with scratches, he had white hair, peach skin, and yellow eyes; his most distinguishing feature were 5 scars across his face that looked like it was made from a creature with sharp claws.

"Captain Torchwood." Wentworth greeted.

"Hey there doc." Torchwood greeted back casually. "So what did the bosses want with ya? You messed something up again?"

"On the contrary, I merely informed them that we found him."

"Him?" Torchwood repeated.

"Yes, him." the doctor emphasized.

The captain looked confused until he connected the dots of who the doctor was talking about, he tensely placed his hand on his scar.

"You-You've found him? " he asked.

"Indeed, in fact I may have need for your skills."

"When do we begin."

Doctor Wentworth grinned sinisterly. 'Soon you'll be back into the fold Subject D.

Darkness. That was all that could be seen, then two pair of eyes opened, they looked around and saw that he was in some confined space, he looked through what appeared to be glass, and saw various individuals in white lab coats looking at computers. One with thick glasses was looking straight at him and then pressed a button, at that moment he felt electricity course through his body and then he knew no more. Images began to flash, claw marks around a laboratory, armored men scattered on the ground looking injured, green fire consuming everything, finally there was an exit, he limped towards it, opened the dour and then...

"Ahh!" panting heavily, Spike the talking dog looked around and saw that he was in his and Twilight's room.

"Spike, is something wrong?" a voice asked concerned. The little pup looked up and saw that it was his owner Twilight Sparkle, she was looking him with worry.

"I'm...I'm fine Twi, just had a bad dream."

"Another one? That's been happening a lot lately." she noted

"Yeah I know. Hey, is it okay if I sleep with you on your bed?" he sheepishly asked.

"Of course, come on up buddy. " Spike climbed onto the bed and Twilight pulled him close. "Good night Spike."

"Night Twilight." Spike began to drift off to sleep, we zoom in to his dog collar with a heart and the screen turns to black.
