Celestia is dead, and Twilight and the Doctor have disapeared off into the universe to behold it, leaving the rest of the Mane Six behind...

Now, two months later, a mysterious ship is approaching the planet. A defense cannot be mustered...
and due to the significant loss of the most powerful element of the Elements of Harmony, who can stand against this new threat?

Chapter 1

It has been several weeks since Twilight disappeared from Equestria, along with the mysterious stallion, known as the Medic. Twilight’s friends, while still upset at their friend leaving them to travel the universe with a mysterious Pony they don’t even know, but at the same time, they cannot fault her, given the vast learning opportunities that presented themselves to her. Still, they do miss her, as any friend would, put in their situation.

Up in space, a shape was approaching the planet. Stopping in place, as an observation platform window faced itself to look down upon the world underneath it.

Outside the ship, circular space pods detached themselves from the sides of the ship, and started to fly around the ship, patrolling it, others started to fly off in random directions, as they began their descent down towards the planet, below.

Approaching the viewport, a figure, clad in black armor, with it’s shoulders elongating further out, but the figure’s face was obstructed behind a helmet, which hid it’s identity.

From behind, a figure, adoring the same armor as the first, but with a light color, approached it.

‘’General!’’ Turning itself around, it turned it’s entire body around to face the newcomer. ‘’The ships are reporting in that they have begun making their run down towards the planet’s surface, and will be performing their bombing run, shortly.’’

‘’Excellent, this planet must be secured,’’ it replied, bringing a hand up, in which it was shown holding a cane, ‘’all resistance must be overcome, and construction on our fortifications must be made ready as quickly as possible.’’

‘’Yes, sir.’’ It replied, bring an arm to it’s chest, bowing it’s head.

From behind, a sudden glare of red fell upon the newcomer’s helmet, as it was bowing it’s head. Noticing this, the General turned itself around, looking out the viewport. On the other side of the glass, through the eyes of it’s helmet, the General watched, as bright, eruptions of light seemed to be exploding behind the clouds, their light lasting for not very long, but before they dissipated, completely, their place was quickly taken by another.

‘’Perfect, once we are in control of this world, it will be fortified to the teeth, being able to withstand all who should attempt to oppose us.’’

‘’Yes, sir!’’ The lighter-colored figure behind it replied, raising it’s head back up.

Standing behind a control console, a large screen, and a few control switches, making up most of it’s display. An operator pulled it’s eyes away from the screen, looking instead towards the General.

‘’General,’’ it spoke up, drawing the attention of both the General and the other, ‘’Bombing run has confirmed four-hundred casualties.’’

‘’Ours, or the local population?’’

‘’The local population, sir.’’

The General lowered it’s head, slightly, deep in thought. Slowly, it raised it back up.

‘’Order another Bombing run,’’

‘’B-but, sir-‘’ many other operators, attending to their own controls, turned their heads. Looking them towards the General.

‘’order them to attack the largest military installation,’’ it ordered, pointing it’s cane towards the operator, ‘’the cities are not to be touched unless necessary, I still want this planet intact by the time we arrive.’’

‘’Y-yes, sir.’’ It looked it’s head back down, continuing to order for another Bombing run, as ordered.

‘’Yes,’’ it turned itself back, staring down upon the large scale of destruction that was being inflicted upon this planet, ‘’we cannot lose…We must take this planet, no matter the cost!’’

Down on the planet, below, the pods, that had been deployed to the surface, flew over vast fields, large cities, and many of the vast swaths of land, they did, however, not dare to venture close to the borders of the Griffon, or Minotaur Empires. Choosing to instead just confine their bombing runs to the Equestrian Kingdom.

As a giant crescent form of explosions erupted on the surface, the General turned back towards his Lieutenant.

‘’Deploy Troops to ensure maximum surrender. Some Pod ships are to remain in-flight to provide air-support for the ground forces until they can secure the Capital city,’’ he paused, ‘’and even then, they are not to assume anything, until complete surrender has been made, all units will be on full alert.’’

‘’Yes, sir.’’ The Lieutenant nodded it’s head, looking back towards the General, through it’s helmet eyeholes. ‘’Request permission to go down with the Landing party?’’

‘’Granted,’’ the General replied, ‘’I need soldiers with experience for this mission.’’

‘’Thank you, sir.’’ It bowed it’s head, once again, before turning around, and going to carry out it’s given orders.

An alarm started to blare on the bridge loudly, but the crew remained busy with managing their respective tasks. The only who given some leeway on this was the General, who supervised the Invasion of Equestria.

In separate squads of five, each, armed soldiers moved to a small raised base, from which they vanished in a quick haze of light, permitting the next one to step onto the same base, it too, disappearing in a haze of light.

*Down on the surface*

In an old, abandoned, underground basement, a strange, box, hums to life, and one by one, the vanished soldiers re-appear, forming into a mannered formation. The Lieutenant, leading the charge, as they burst from the basement, and took to the streets.

Like a knife in the shadows, the alien force started to advance deep, and swiftly, through the streets, and alleys of Canterlot. Engaging, and killing all those who opposed them. Civil targets were rounded up, and instructed to head to designated positions throughout the, constantly, more and more, occupied city. The Lieutenant, personally, being the one to lead the assault on Canterlot castle.

Before too long into the battle, smoke started to rise up from the commoner-section of the famous city, as the struggle between Equine and Invaders intensified.

*Meanwhile, someplace else*

Running with all their might, Twilight, and the newly named, The Doctor, ran as fast as they could down the corridor, red, fatal, beams, shot after them, as they tried her best to dodge them. Performing full shifts of their bodies to one side, or the other, or just doing simple changes, like moving a body part out of the way, watching as the beam missed them.

Behind them, down the hall they were running from, rows of rows of armored figures were following behind them. Their arms were raised, aiming what must have been wrist-mounted laser cannons towards them, and firing after them. All around them, the entire corridor was erupting, as explosions shook the corridor.

‘’Seek, locate, delete! Seek, locate, annihilate! Seek, locate, annihilate!’’ Their pursuers seemed to be chanting, as there was still an effort made to try to cut down the fleeing individuals, as they tried to escape from them.

The ship bucked, losing stability, as it continued to fall out of orbit. Explosions rupturing through it’s hull, crippling it further, and undoing it’s occupants’ only hope of restoring it to full functionality.

Losing their pursuers, the Doctor and Twilight, made a sharp turn. The entered the Cargo hold, many of the supplies, and packed items that had been requested moved there, had all tumbled down, crashing in front of them…Except for one.

‘’The TARDIS!’’ Twilight exclaimed out of utter joy, as she laid eyes on it.

‘’Quickly!’’ he grabbed Twilight’s arm, and pulled her with him, as he ran towards the circular rectangle. He reached inside his pockets, and retrieved back out his keys; he inserted them into the slot, and turned. The door opened, and they hurried inside.

Outside the TARDIS, the groaned wheeze of it’s Engines humming to life sounded, it started to fade away, soon vanishing like it had never been there. Pieces of the ceiling collapsed, crashing against the floor, permitting the flames access into the room.

Meanwhile on the Warship’s Bridge, remained a lone figure, it’s appearance was that of a Pony, but it was clothed in black, the rest of it’s body, underneath, however, from torso down was nothing but a base, and a skirt with four-rowed hemispheres on them, it’s head was decorated with a control head-set.

‘’NOOOOOOOO!’’ it screamed out with a loud, howling, terrible, voice, ‘’DAMN YOU, DOCTOR!’’ It screamed out, as it had a front-row seat to the ship’s crash into the rapidly approaching ground in the viewport in front of it. The violent glare of the flames outside the ship, as it was burning up in the atmosphere, coming in at speeds far too great.

‘’I may have meet my end…but they will live on.’’ A smile settled on his face, his eyes closed, and he…he prepared himself.

With terrifying speed, the ship crashed down into the mountains, the explosions’ flames from the violent impact shattered the glass, and exploded into the Bridge, enveloping him, and incinerating him.

On the surface of the planet where the ship had crashed down, the intensity of the crash’s explosion was so rough, that when it unfolded, it could barely be seen from space.

*Back on the TARDIS*

While operating several of the TARDIS’ controls, the Doctor turned his head, looking to the side, he watched Twilight standing by herself. Her head hung low, and while he could not see her face, could sense an aura of sadness having clothed itself around her.

He cast a quick glance back, operating a few switches, and pressing a buttons.

‘’Doctor?’’ he heard Twilight’s voice speak to him, his head turned, staring his eyes back towards the Unicorn Mare, ‘’please take me home.’’

*Back on Equestria*

Five months later

Having traversed the Time Vortex, the TARDIS resumed it’s usual groaned wheeze, as it started to re-materialize back on Equestria, more accurately; Ponyville.

The front door opened, and the Doctor exited out through them, with Twilight following shortly after.

‘’Spike!?’’ Twilight called out into the Library, running around, as she tried to find her most trusted assistant, ‘’Spike!? Where are you!?’’

No response came from the upstairs to indicate anyone being there.

‘’Huh, must have gone out.’’

While looking around the Library, both, the Doctor, and Twilight, noticed that the entire Library was in somewhat of a messed state, books were strewn everywhere on the floor, furniture were everywhere, and it was just a generally big mess.

‘’Well, I hate to say it,’’ the Doctor trotted through a small pile of unorganized paper, and documents, picking some of them up, ‘’but if he’s had a party, I would say that it got way out of control, and he just didn’t want to clean it up.’’

‘’Could be,’’ Twilight’s head turned, looking around, as if she was looking for something, ‘’but I know Spike, and he wouldn’t dodge responsibility like this, even if it was something that might make me mad.’’ She brought a hoof up to her mouth, covering it. ‘’Maybe he would.’’

While looking around the room, a small beam of light shone down on his cheek, drawing his attention away from Twilight, and the mess of the Library, instead. He turned, and followed the beam, until he saw that it emanated from a hole in the wall, through which the light was permitted entry.

He turned himself to face it, narrowing his eyes, which stared towards the small hole with a peeked interest.

‘’Eh, Twilight?’’ He called out after her.

A ‘’Yeah, Doctor?’’ sounded from behind his back.

‘’Was there always a hole there?’’ He asked, pointing his hoof up towards the spot he was asking about. She turned to see where he was pointing, craning her head up, but as her eyes fell upon it, they widened, and her face paled.

‘’No, Doctor,’’ she shook her head, slowly, ‘’there wasn’t.’’

His head turned, meeting her worried face, as she looked back towards his’ suspicious one. His brow was raised, giving her a partially nervous glance.

Suddenly, the door was with powerful force slammed open. Twilight, and the Doctor, both, turned themselves to see what was happening.

In through the door, several Pony shapes ran inside, their bodies being clothed in old, torn, rags, with slight bits of armor on them, wielding something that looked like technically advanced Rifles, which they surrounded Twilight and the Doctor, and pointed at them with.

‘’Freeze! Don’t move!’’ They shouted towards two Ponies, keeping their weapons fixed on them in case they tried anything, taking no chances with these two newcomers, whom they had never seen before.

‘’Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!’’ He exclaimed, raising his hooves up into the air. ‘’Whatever you want, l-let us try, and talk it out, ey?’’

‘’Be quiet.’’ One of the armed Ponies said to him.

‘’But-‘’

‘’I said, be quiet!’’ He shouted, pointing his weapon even closer towards him.

‘’All right! No need to become so fired up over it.’’

He turned towards Twilight, meeting her confused gaze.

‘’Raise yours hooves.’’ He instructed her.

‘’Wh-what?’’ She asked confused. ‘’B-but, Doctor-‘’

‘’No ‘’buts’’. These Ponies seem to think that we are someone else, we have to show them that we are not who they think we are.’’ Twilight only blinked her eyes back.

She sighed, wearing a serious face, raising her hooves up.

Turning his head, he looked back towards the group of Ponies.

‘’There?’’ He said to them. ‘’Now, would you mind filling in some of the blanks?’’ He asked.

‘’Well, if you’re not, to quote you ‘’who we think you are’’ then who are you?’’ A voice spoke up from amongst the crowd.

One of the Ponies, lightly, turned his head to the side.

‘’Captain, stay out of this!’’ One of the Ponies who had their weapons fixed on the two detainees.

The Ponies parted ways, making way for a lone Pegasus Mare, who trotted up from behind the group. She, unlike the others, wore a full Military’ uniform, she looked to be around much closer to Twilight’s age, but the beginning of wrinkles was evident on her face, clearly indicating a developing age.

‘’Now,’’ she started to speak, ‘’I will ask you again, who are you?’’ Her tone was much sterner, and no longer, quite as welcoming as when she first spoke.

‘’I am the Doctor, and this is my associate, Twilight Sparkle.’’ He said, gesturing his left arm towards Twilight.

The Ponies all gasped at the mention of Twilight’s full name. Lowering their weapons away from pointing towards her, and this Pony called the Doctor.

‘’The Princess’ pupil’’ ‘’The Vanquisher of the Darkness of the Night.’’ etc

Twilight blushed at the mention of all titles that these Ponies had given her, and she not even known about them.

‘’R-really, I-it’s not necessary for you all to be so formal. I am not the Princess.’’

The Captain turned her attention from Twilight back to the Doctor, casting him a suspicious glare.

‘’And you are truly telling me that this is the Twilight Sparkle?’’ She cracked an eyebrow at him. He gave a calm nod of his head.

‘’This is the Princess’ star student, the same princess, who, single hoofedly saved Equestria when her own sun turned on her,’’ he lowered his head, hanging it low, ‘’only, it still tried to destroy her even after her own darkness had been subdued, and in doing so, all of Equestria along with it.’’

The Captains’ eyes widened in surprise at what she was being told, but her facial expression did not display sadness, rather, it displayed confusion, and shock.

‘’Eh,’’ she stuttered, ‘’you do know that she-‘’

‘’Captain!’’ A voice spoke from amongst the crowd. Turning themselves around, Twilight, the Doctor, and the Captain, all turned themselves towards the group of Ponies. Even some of the group turned.

‘’Incoming air assault!’’

All the Ponies looked away from the Doctor and Twilight, instead directing their attention towards the front entrance to Twilight’s Library.

‘’Men, take positions! Stall them! Do not let them reach the Library before we can manage to evacuate Twilight from here!’’

‘’Yes, mam!’’ The armed Equestrians said in unison, rushing out the front entrance they had entered through, disappearing from sight.

Turning towards Twilight, she had a worried glance on her face. She held up her arms, grabbing the side of hers shoulders with them.

‘’Listen to me; we have to leave, now! The Invaders’ aerial forces are almost upon us, and we have to get you to a safe location!’’ There a frantic worry in her eyes, and her voice.

At the mention of ‘’The Invaders’’ his curiosity was peeked, he stepped forward towards her. ‘’What Invaders?’’ He asked her, but she ignored him, and continued to hold Twilight by the sides of her shoulders.

‘’You cannot die on us, not now when we are so close.’’

‘’B-but, why?’’

‘’Because you’re our last hope in stopping the Invaders’ conquest of our planet…Now come!’’ She grabbed Twilight’s hoof, and started to pull her with her, but was shocked when Twilight resisted her, retracting her hoof back from her grasp.

‘’I am not going without the Doctor.’’ She moved closer to him, the Captains’ eyes followed her, shifting over towards the Stallion that she was moving closer to. ‘’If you do indeed believe that I, alone, can stop the Invaders from taking over our planet,’’ she smirked, turning her face towards the Doctor, ‘’then you have yet to see what we can do.’’

The Captain narrowed her eyes, gaining a sterner glare upon her face.

‘’Fine, he can tag along!’’ she reached for, and grabbed Twilight by the hoof, pulling her along with her towards the front door. ‘’Well? Come on, Doc!’’ Her telling him to hurry up was enough to make him to begin making it a reality, as he started running after her. They hurried out the front door, making a sharp turn to the right, and continuing forward.

‘’Whoa!’’ He exclaimed, as he looked out in front of him, laser blasts, and quick, large, shapes, flying across the sky. He lowered his gaze, seeing the dead bodies that laid splayed out on the ground, all around him, their still, motionless eyes, staring out in front of them at whatever they could see.

Up in the sky, several of the pods that were flying around, their internal control mechanisms started to bleep, loudly. The Pilots, having their original mindsets interrupted, looked down towards their ship’s screens.

‘’What!?’’ One, or more, exclaimed, behind their helmet’s eyes, their real eyes widened in shock. ‘’Three more life signatures have emerged from the aforementioned location. Their energy signatures must have been obstructed by the tree’s hide.’’

Pressing a button on it’s control panel static could be heard in it’s helmet’s Communications channel.

‘’Unit 156, report?’’ A voice spoke to the Pilot.

‘’This is Unit 156 reporting in. My scanners have just picked up three more lifeforms, two Equestrians, and a Foreigner, one of the Ponies’ readings is for the most part insignificant…But the Foreigner, and someone who I do not recognize, I have yet to get a proper fix on.’’

‘’Explain, Soldier,’’ the other Pilot instructed, ‘’why are you just NOW bringing this to our attention?’’

‘’Because their energy signatures were being very effectively hidden from our ship’s scanners.’’

‘’Very well.’’ The other Pilot on the other end of the Communications channel, pressed another button on it’s control panel, making the communication available to all the other ships.

‘’All Pilots, three new energy signatures have been detected. The creatures they belong to will be apprehended, and if necessary, brought back to Command!’’

The other Pilots in their pods all exclaimed a loud chant, as they altered their pods’ course, and started flying after the newly detected energy signatures, which they had been ordered to locate, and secure, because of these new objects, the ship’s guns were de-activated, and they became just normal pods.

Down on the ground, Twilight was still being pulled along by the Mare, her grasp being really strong on her hoof, and while he was keeping up with them, he was beginning to fall a little bit behind them.

His ear twitched, as he heard the sound of approaching ship’ engines, above them. Turning his head back, he caught glimpse of five, maybe six Pod ships coming after them.

‘’Oh no!’’ He whispered to himself, as he watched their pursuers’ ships beginning to catch up on them.

Through his ship’s screen, the Pilot smiled, as he watched, on the screen, that he, and his companions, were finally beginning to catch up with them. If it was not for the insistence that they were to be captured, he could have easily shot them from this range.

Grunting at the annoyance of having to refrain themselves from killing the trio, the Pilot caused a sudden speed boost, thrusting it’s pod forward, at which it was moving much faster than the others. They were completely caught off-guard by the Pilot’s actions.

Catching up to them, the Pilot’s screen showed the three equines, as they made sharp turns, both left and right, ducking behind houses, and performing many other tricks in a vain attempt to prevent their pursuers from catching up to them, but therein lies the beauty of technology.

‘’Hm.’’ He smirked, as he beheld them on the screen. ‘’Well, now that I am close enough to get a proper read, maybe I should-‘’

Suddenly, his helmet’s (ship’s) display started going frantic, beeping, the icons on his display going through many others, as it all went haywire.

His eyes widened, and his face paled, gaining a look of sheer horror.

‘’B-but that is impossible!’’ He exclaimed in protest. ‘’T-there is only one with that kind of energy signature.’’ He suddenly pressed several buttons in rapid succession. The display inside his helmet started to change, showing multiple landscapes of the surrounding town.

‘’No! S-she has to be here somewhere! T-there is no way that-…’’ He stopped himself mid-sentence, bringing his attention back to the group in front of him.

His look of fear was suddenly replaced with that of a smug grin. ‘’Yes,’’ he spoke, ‘’yes! If I am the one to bring her to Command, the General will reward me for sure…’’ His eyes looked to the side, and he grinned wide. ‘’But I cannot risk allowing the others to take the credit for her capture.’’

He tapped into the Communications channel, waiting for a secondary moment of static, before the voice of his superior sounded.

‘’Yes, report?’’

‘’Commander, I think you might want to hear this…’’

Running for their lives, Twilight was still being pulled, against her will, by the Captain. They were still putting some distance between themselves and the pods, none of them daring to look back. Almost all of them.

Turning his head back, the Doctor looked behind him towards the pods.

‘’Huh? What?’’ He muttered in confusion.

He stopped running, stopping his place, as he something he had not expected the pods to do, turn, and fly away from them.

‘’Hey, Twilight! Captain!’’ He called out towards them. ‘’They are no longer chasing after us, they are turning around, and flying away!’’

The two Mares, or rather, the first Mare who was running, whilst pulling on another, finally came to a stop, ending both of their movement. The both of them turned themselves around, staring their eyes up into the sky. Them too, bearing witness to this strange behavior that was they were witnessing first hoof.

Up in the sky, just now beginning to catch up on them, but suddenly, turning themselves around, and speeding back the way they had come, they watched as the spheres was going the exact opposite way of the one they were originally following.

‘’What are they doing?’’ The Captain questioned the others, equally as confused as they were.

‘’I have no clue, Cap’n,’’ his head turned, looking towards her, ‘’mind if I call you Cap’n?’’ He asked her, she looked towards him, but shook her head from side to side.

‘’Not at all…Doc.’’ He gave a gentle chuckle at her reply.

‘’But in all seriousness, Doctor,’’ Twilight said, turning her head towards him, ‘’what just happened?’’

His head turned, looking back towards her.

As Twilight’s voice reached his ears, they perked themselves up, and he turned his head back towards her. His face blank, and wearing a small hint of nervous fear.

‘No, it cannot be. They cannot have fled because of…Because of her…’

Turning her head, she looked her eyes towards him.

‘’Doctor?’’ She asked, softly, snapping him out of the slight trance he might have been under. He shook his head, blinking his eyes.

‘’Doctor? Is everything all right?’’ The Captain asked him next.

‘’No! Everything is fine, I’m all right.’’ he smiled back at them, reassuringly. Lowering his head, and turning it back to look in the direction that the pods had gone, his smile disappeared, being instead replaced with a serious frown, ‘’Everything is fine.’’ He muttered under his breath, as his eyes peered into the distance of where the ships may have vanished.

Wandering through the abandoned, and frankly, ruined, Ponyville, Twilight could not help but continually stare, looking out at all the destruction that had befallen her home.

While she was distracted with that, he was discussing things with the Captain.

‘’So, I need you to tell me everything that’s happened here.’’ He seemed to almost order the Captain. ‘’Who are these Invaders? Why are they here? And most importantly, what happened here?’’

She sighed, lowering her head.

‘’They happened.’’ She raised her hoof up, pointing it upwards. Seeing that she was pointing at something behind him, he turned himself around, and looked up in the direction that she was pointing. Looking as well, Twilight stared off in the same direction. But when both Twilight, and the Doctor, looked out in front of them, their eyes grew wide, their mouths dropped, hanging open, and the Doctor almost backed away.

‘’That is Canterlot, or what remains of it.’’ She explained. ‘’The Invaders first took control of our capital city, and added pieces of their technology to it, turning it into a fortress, unconquerable, unbeatable, resistant to any force we try sending at it…’’ She paused, before continuing. ‘’and that that is where they are holding the Princess.’’

At the mention of ‘’the Princess’’ Twilight’s head rotated towards the Captain, a pale, but terrifying face, looking back at her, before returning her head, and staring her eyes up towards the ‘’upgraded’’ city of Canterlot. She narrowed her eyes, glaring angered back.

‘’When do we start?’’ She asked stern.

The Captain’s head turned towards Twilight, giving her a victorious smile. She softly inhales some air, before letting it out just as gently as she had inhaled it.

‘’It’s good to be back on track to obtaining victory.’’ Her smile grew a little wider from saying that out-loud.

‘’I would be inclined to say the same,’’ a sudden voice from behind their backs, ‘’but then again, our victory was not already secured the minute we landed on this planet.’’

Like the Captain, Twilight and the Doctor, both turned themselves around to face the speaker. But the minute he laid eyes on the speaker, he was suddenly taken aback by fear.

The figure before them was dressed in a black full body suit, with armor on it’s upper body, and a helmet atop it’s head, which curved similarly in shape to an egg, with two half-triangular holes for eyes.

‘’No!’’ She spoke, shaking his head from side to side. ‘’No! It cannot be you…! Not here!’’ His growing worry attracted Twilight’s attention, who cast him a confused look.

‘’Doctor? Is something wrong?’’ He closed his mouth, but still looked on in fear.

‘’Y-yes, Twilight.’’ He paused, gulping down. ‘’Something is very wrong here.’’

In front of them, the darkly armored figure, stood itself up on it’s hind legs, folding it’s arms, as it cast them an overconfident smirk from it’s behind it’s helmet.

‘’Well, no need to flattery, cause it won’t save you.’’

He raised his arm, pointing a strange wrist-mounted device towards them.

‘’Bang.’’ It said, firing off a blast of energy from it’s wrist device. The blast shot through the sky, approaching the trio at a faster speed than even the most experienced of Unicorns.

‘’Dodge!’’ The Doctor shouted, as he leaped to the side, pushing two Mares out of the way. The blast flew past them, hitting one of the ruined houses behind them, causing that to explode instead.

‘’What!?’’ The darkly armored figure exclaimed, taking a step forward, as it clenched it’s hoof, striking a ‘’prepared’’ pose.

The Doctor, and the two Mares, crashed down into the ground, as the aftershock of the explosion brushed over them.

Standing himself back up, he looked down, seeing the two Mares coughing, as the dust cleared.

‘’Interesting development, is it not?’’ They heard it speak to them. His head shot up, and he turned, looking back towards the attacker. ‘’I detect a powerful energy level coming from the purple Unicorn…’’ It raised it’s hoof, pointing it towards him. ‘’But you, you are quick enough to dodge my attack. How?’’

Glaring back, he grimaced, as he cast a stern glance back towards the figure.

‘’Sontaran!’’ He shouted up towards the figure. ‘’I, the Doctor, of the Time Lord Race, demand to be told what you are doing here, and cease all nefarious activates, at once, and return back forthwith to your previous location before coming here.

The Sontaran chuckled, bringing a hoof up to in front of it’s helmet, placing it approximately where it’s mouth was.

‘’A warrior of Sontar does not surrender to a lowly lifeform, as yourself.’’ It returned to standing back up on it’s hind legs, raising it’s hooves, and holding them out, as it struck a fighting pose. ‘’It would be my honor to kill you, myself, or die in battle against our most notorious criminal.’’

‘’Oh, I am sorry, who has killed thousands of lives.’’

‘’Irrelevant, those lives were meaningless to our cause.’’

‘’Irrelevant?’’

‘’Yes, now if you would-‘’

‘’No life is irrelevant, and not one for you to take.’’ He raised a brow behind his helmet’s eyes, his smile growing wider.

‘’Oh? And who are you to judge? You are not my boss!’’ He screamed back, he raised his hoof, holding it out in front of him, as with a mighty leap forward, he charged towards the Doctor.

‘’Doc-‘’ Twilight screamed out, but her cry out for him was cut-short, as she witnessed him step out of the way of the creature labelled a ‘’Sontaran’’ charged towards him, the Sontaran, being equally as confused as she was about the whole thing. He tried turning his head, but considering his helmet was not supposed to be in a situation like this it was impossible to locate the Doctor.

‘’Alley-‘’ he started, as she side-stepped the Sontaran, ‘’-whoop!’’ He said, before swinging his hoof down, hitting it against the back of the back of his head, hitting the weak spot with such force that it, with no secondary thought, seemed to send the Sontaran into an immediate shut-down, before falling down onto the ground, unconscious.

Twilight and the Captain’s jaws hung low, held low, as they could not comprehend that which they had witnessed.

‘’Wow! That was amazing, Doctor!’’ The Captain exclaimed, over shocked by how he had just made that Sontaran go down, onto the ground.

‘’Where in the world did you learn something like that!?’’ Asked Twilight.

He scoffed, chuckling, softly.

‘’I was a fighter once, you know. I did learn a thing or two…’’ His smile grew was kept the way it was, as he paused, looking his eyes down. ‘’But it is how I chose to wield it that makes it valuable.’’ The Captain nodded, smiling back at him.

‘’Spoken like a true veteran.’’ His smile vanished, as a frown overtook it, and he shoot her a rather nasty glare. ‘’What?’’ She asked.

He did not answer her, but merely started to trot forward. Twilight trotted up towards the Captain, a saddened frown on her face.

‘’He has a history he is…’’ she turned her head, sighing softly, looking it after him, ‘’he’s not too proud of.’’

‘’Oh.’’ She turned her head, looking it after him, as they watched him trot ahead of them.

‘’Uh-…You do know that he is going the wrong way, right?’’ She raised an eyebrow, as Twilight, and her own, meet each other’s gaze.

‘’Doctor! Come back! That’s the wrong way!’’ Twilight called up after him, as she ran to try and catch up with him. The Captain gave a soft scoff, shaking her head, before she took to following after them.

Not too far away, in the shadows of a nearby ruined Ponyville house, a shadowy figure emerged. It’s eyes staring after Twilight, the Doctor, and the Captain.

‘’They have bested a Sontaran…But I fear that their trials have just begun.’’ It said, as it started to move forward, following after them, but only in the shadows.

Chapter 2

Moving around through many corridors and tunnels, armored Ponies are making their way throughout a giant complex.

Some carrying weapons to be given out to new trainees, while others are just wandering about because they can (and because there are always someone moving throughout tunnels, and corridors in military complexes).

From the secret backdoor entrance, a knock is heard. One of the many supervisors, in charge of monitoring outer security in his section, presses a button on his control panel, before he begins to speak, talking to the units that can reach that door.

‘’All units report to Backdoor 3 to investigate an occurrence!’’ The voice echoes around every corridor closest to Backdoor 3. Those who are wandering through those specific corridors are caught by surprise as the message is delivered, stopping in place, as the start listening to the rest of the supervisors’ voice inform them. ‘’Visuals have been lost, but the scanners are picking up an organic lifeform. It is moving around at random, taking alternate paths-…’’ Suddenly, the voice over the intercom is interrupted, halted for a bit. ‘’No, wait! I just picked up a secondary reading in quick pursuit of the first lifeform.’’

Outside the complex’s walls, a medium sized figure is running for its life through the caverns, and canyons of the mountains surrounding her at every turn, as she tries desperately to escape away from a giant beast that is pursuing her. Its jaw full with ragged teeth and sharp claws which desires to do nothing more but sink themselves into her flesh, and then devour her once she is bleed to death.

Her clothes are torn, and her body having several scrapes and bruises from other encounters, which have taken their toll on her small body. Scaring her. While she may have survived those that survival was not without its consequences, and unspeakable memories that will never leave her mind.

The only memory from her past days of living with her family was a small necklace, which had a small locket which inside was a lone picture of her family. A family that had been killed when the Invaders first started bombing entire continents, disabling Equestria’s defense to fight back at them. Having been on a visit to her grandmother in Manehattan at the time, she had managed to survive the terrible onslaught. However, when the city turned control of the city over to the Invaders, she ran away, fleeing into the wild. Where many hardships were forced upon someone of her age, she overcame them, but having grown to learn that she could no longer trust her own kin in this battle against the Invaders, whom she had learned, while visiting several villages, and making a few acquaintances along the way, were now labelling themselves ‘’Sontarans’’. To her it was nothing but a weird name, and nothing else.

While she did find some friends, she never kept the connection for very long, as she did not know if they were completely trustworthy, and frankly, she did not care to find out. She left them, and the village, the next day that followed, disappearing into the wild like a Spector.

As she grew older, her body started growing into a more mature state, but still, she was nowhere near to being an adult. Young adult was a better word to describe her, for while it was true that she was not a mature adult, she was becoming a young adult, a teenager in other words.

Growing rebellious, and witnessing death, and destruction, at the hoof of the Sontarans, she began growing hungry to strike back against them, and liberate – At least a small part of – her world from the Sontarans’ grasp.

That’s when, while aiding in a one-instance raid on a Sontaran transport, that she learned, while interrogating a Sontaran, of the Resistance, a group of Equestrians who had band together, and were organizing calculated strikes against the Sontaran regime, weakening their hold in certain regions of the world.

She did not have much to go on, but from what she managed to learn, and what she managed to piece together by her own, she came to the one, of many possible, conclusions that the Resistance were hiding in the Northern Mountains of Equestria. It was worth a shoot, and while time was scarce, and there were Sontaran patrols everywhere searching for Ponies, she could still slip under their watchful sight, and get to these other parts of the world virtually undetected. Her being on her own would also prove a much better chance to evade the patrols, and travel lighter and faster at the same time.

After a long journey, evading patrols, and a couple other small bands of hostile Ponies, she reached the mountains, and began her long search of them. She was determined to find this Resistance, and even if it took years of her life, she could still try and make a contribution in the powerful buck against the Sontaran’s chest, as all Equestrians declared in one voice ‘’Get off our planet!’’

At first, it was going great, and she was doing as well as she could.

Gathering some clues that pointed towards potential Resistance Headquarters’ locations, but these places were all abandoned, and were now the new housing for foul creatures that had once been small and insignificant, but due to the Sontaran regime change, these creatures had become a threat in their own right against the rebellious groups of Ponies that tried to defy the Sontarans…

While searching through one of these potential Resistance Headquarters’ locations, she got a little too un-careful, and accidentally, awoke something in the depths of the rock. Unlike earlier instances where she could out-run it, this creature was quick enough to keep up with her, putting her in a rather dangerous spot.

Now, she was running through the gorges, and jumping from cliff to cliff, as she tried her best to escape from this seemingly inescapable creature.

The creature that was chasing after her, it’s skin was coal-black, with cracks in it’s skin, where bursts of fiery light shone out, it had dreadful, long, demon, wings, it’s face was unrecognizable as belonging to any of Equestria’s normal beasts, and it had, and there were two curving horns on either side of its head, with two glowing, holes, for eyes, and a breath that had the same feeling of being pleasant, as standing close to a raging inferno. A long tail hung down behind it. It’s legs were cloven hooves, and it’s back had a long streak of fire that ran down over it’s back, starting at the top of it’s head, which, the head portion was much lighter than the what was down on the back, which was mostly darker flames. Finally, in its clawed paws, it grasped, tightly, around the handle, which was metal, but it’s blade was a long form of fire, with an end tip that morphed into itself into a long whip that swung towards her, whenever it brought it’s arm back, preparing to swing, the blade transformed into a whip before the swing was thrown towards it’s target. One other means of attack that it had, though, it was not quite as efficient as the sword, or the whip, was firing concentrated energy blasts towards her. But as stated, that attack proved to not be quite as efficient as the other two.

Following her for a long multitude of days, the flaming beast hunted her down. She did not even get many moments to sleep, as the beast was always so hot on her tail, and could strike at any moment.

Now, at the present, she was beginning to be on the verge of having all her energy drained from her body, resistance was becoming more difficult, and evading it’s many strikes, and swings, whether it being the sword or whip, she could still evade it, but she was being inflicted injuries in the process, due to the lack of energy, and rest.

-

Raising its arm, the fire beast held out its paw, aiming its palm towards her. In its paw, a form of energy started to form, spherical in shape. Not wasting too much on charging its attack, it thrust its arm forward, sending the blast flying towards her.

Hearing and catching a quick glimpse of it preparing to fire the energy ball towards her, she was too slow, and too late, to realize that she had just made a mistake in looking back behind her.

Firing its beam, the fire beast had managed to draw her attention away from where she was going to jump, and was instead caught off-guard by its attack.

The moment she had turned her head, was the same moment as when she had jumped from her spot, and because of its distraction, she did not get too good of a glimpse at where she was going, leaping instead towards the mountainside wall.

With a speed far surpassing that of her own, the ball of energy that the fire beast fired towards her shot past her. Crashing into the mountainside, the ball of energy exploded, causing the wall to explode, and many rocks, and bits and pieces to be sent flying in all manner of directions. While not being in direct contact with it, the aftershock of the explosion did send her crashing down towards the ground.

Creating a trail behind her, her body crashed down into the ground.

Groaning, she lifted her head. Opening her eyes, though, its speed was somewhat reduced, as she had suffered quite a beating from the explosion, and crashing into the ground like that was not something that did anything to fix her.

In front of her, she heard something touch down a small length away from her position, it was standing hunched, it’s right arm was outstretched, touching against the ground. Raising it’s head to look, it’s flaming eyes fell upon her, while her own widened, as she noticed it seeing her, and in such a terrible state of defending her.

It stood itself up, then, with one step after another, it started to approach her. It’s paw at first did not hold anything, but using it’s arm, it reached towards something that resembled a belt, grabbing hold of a hilt.

Frightened she tried to move, only to groan, exclaiming with a loud voice, as her body ached from simple movement such as moving her leg.

As it drew closer towards her motionless form, its cloven hooves stomped on the ground, leaving a burn mark, as it moved the leg forward, leaving another mark. It folded its wings back, resting them against its back. It held the hilt in its grip, the fiery blade automatically started to flow out into long, sharp, shape.

Coming to a stop five inches away from her, it lowered it’s head, looking down towards the battered, and beaten, Pony in front of it. All it received back from her, were several angered glares.

‘’Do your worst…’’ She lowered her head back down against the earth, turning it to look away. ‘’The world will only be helped with my passing. I have already given it my all.’’ She inhaled sharply, letting it out softly.

With her words spoken and her mind free from the strain of still lusting to keep fighting on, she could finally accept her death, and just die. Finally, she would be re-united with her family after all this time of suffering through the hardships of the Sontaran Regime. She just hoped, that one day it would all end, and the Invaders would be brought down, and finally destroyed once and for all.

But towering over her, the fire beast did nothing to her. Just remained motionless in place, as it looked down towards her. It raised its left arm, opening its claws, and holding them outstretched, as it reached down towards her.

‘’Peace…’’ Slowly, her eyes closed themselves shut, and her breath drew to a slow, but steady pace. ‘’At last.’’

While her dying body could not see it, physically, it did hear the fire beast growling, groaning in its native tongue, as it reached out for her.

*WHOSH*

Suddenly, before another second passed, she slowly opened her eyes again, looking out at what had just happened.

From what little she was able to see, she could see tell that she was atop one of the cliffs, and from what she felt, she could have said that someone was holding her, lifting her up with their arms, or hooves, since she was unable to see the identity of the creature that was lifting her up.

Her head turned, looking in direction of whoever was holding her. However, with her losing consciousness, it was impossible to get a good enough fix on her saviors’ identity.

All she was able to get, to get a glimmer of who had saved her was this creature’s voice. But it, like her grip on reality, was distorted.

‘’Don’t worry, you’ll be al-…’’ Her head fell back, hanging down, as her eyes closed, and everything became dark.

Gaining a nervous expression fixed to it’s face, her rescuer raised it’s head, looking back down towards the figure, that moved underneath the mountainside it stood on.

Turning it’s head, the flaming beast turned it’s head, looking around, furiously, for any hint of where the thief had to run off to. It’s nostrils flared, as it started sniffing around the air. Slowly, it’s head was guided upwards, and without any hesitation, or attempts to prevent it from doing so, it looked up towards the mountainside. Narrowing it’s eyes, as they looked closely at the figure, which stood at the end of a small standable side of the mountain.

Staring back towards it’s fiery eyes, the rescuer of it’s prey frowned, as it meet the beasts’ gaze.

Throwing it’s arms back, and shooting it’s head up, the creature’s jaw dropped. A loud roar sounded from the flaming chasms of the magma inside it’s internal body.

It clenched a fist around it’s handle tip, and retracted it from it’s belt. Raising the arm up, clenching harder against the handle. Instantly, a long, fiery, form, moved out of the handle. Not until it stopped, at what was a long sword made of nothing but pure fire.

With an almighty swing, it thrust it’s arm upwards, throwing the sword up at the mountainside.

His eyes widened as he saw it do this.

With no time to react, the blade tip shot into the side of the mountain wall, exploding into a violent inferno, scattering huge, or small, fragments of rocks, and boulders, everywhere, as it all fell down towards the ground. Shattering upon impact.

Chapter 3

After leaving Ponyville, or what was left of it, the Captain started to lead them deep into the mountains. With no other options but to trust her, the Doctor and Twilight accompanied her to wherever she was leading them.

Following behind her, the Doctor, and Twilight, kept a close eye on her, she may not have been a Unicorn, but she could still out-run them, and alert her forces early. For all they knew, she could have been just a spy, or something, that was pretending to be fighting against the Sontarans, but was only in obtaining valuable items from what little they could scrounge up in this new world.

After much wandering through the mountains, the trio finally arrived at a secluded part of the remote, barren, tops and peaks of this wild domain.

*Meanwhile, in Canterlot Castle

Standing in front of a nearby window, a figure, unlike the others, is not wearing the standard Sontaran helmet, and has it’s arms behind it’s back. It is clothed in the usual Sontaran attire, but has a strange marking on it’s chest plate in the shape of two points curving inwards, with a line going up in the center, which forms a slight tip.

While looking out the window, and overseeing the city, it has many thoughts on it’s mind. The ongoing struggle against the Resistance, and the delayed construction of the turrets, and fortifications, of this world.

Despite the fact that many cities have surrendered themselves to Sontaran rule, and have even been nominees appointed to ‘’The Small Council’’ who will act on their city’s behalf, there are still those who resist, those who still believe that there is a chance that if the battle goes on, that they will when they see the futility of their invasion…But if only they knew what was coming their way, due to their insolence, and disrespect, towards Sontaran authority.

Suddenly, a half of a sphere, that was atop a small base, started to bleep, glowing alongside the sound. Behind it, the image of another, holographic, Sontaran, appeared above the sphere.

‘’General,’’ The newcomer spoke, as it bowed it’s head down, kneeling before the unmasked Sontaran. ‘’there has been a development on our conflict with the Resistance.’’ Gently, the General raised it’s head, looking out in front of it. But not turning itself around to face the messenger.

‘’I am listening.’’ His voice said.

‘’One of our patrols have reported in, saying that an extremely energy signature has been seen in the Ponyville region. Its latest noted position were on the outskirts of the city, heading North.’’

‘’North?’’ He finally turned around, looking back towards the other Sontaran. ‘’But is that not the mountains?’’ He raised an eyebrow out of confusion. ‘’Why would the energy source be moving in that direction.’’

‘’If I may, sir,’’ the Hologram Sontaran said, ‘’those mountains could be an ideal hiding position for the Resistance to hide their primary chain of command from our scopes.’’

He raised his arm, touching it against the underside of his chin.

‘’You make a convincing argument.’’ He was deep in thought, as he thought it over.

He lowered his arm, looking up towards the holographic image of the Sontaran.

‘’Has a patrol been dispatched to attend to this matter?’’

‘’It has, sir.’’

‘’Good. If the Ponies are indeed in those mountains, than we must stand at the ready to crush them.’’

‘’Shall I have our forces stationed here with us, stand at the ready.’’

‘’You shall, but it is only stand-by in case they are in those mountains. Even if there are Ponies there, there is a death sentence on anyone found there.’’

‘’Yes, sir!’’ He raised his arm up, holding it out in front of him. ‘’SONTAR-HA!’’ He said, loudly.

‘’SONTAR-HA!’’ The General replied, bringing an arm up, and holding it in a similar fashion to the hologram. Lowering it’s arm down, the hologram started to fade, as the sphere started to dim.

‘’Hmm…’’ He grumbled, touching the end of his arm to his chin. ‘’Maybe Sontar-Ha should be warned of what is happening. If the situation reaches a point in which advice is required to contend with this Resistance, then I am forced to summon him here.’’

Moving towards a nearby table, he grabbed his helmet, picking it up, and putting it back onto his head. Touching his arm to the side of the helmet, he tapped into the Communications network. Hearing nothing but static for a little while.

‘’Yes, sir, how may I assist you?’’ A voice spoke.

‘’Get me Sontar…It is an emergency.’’

‘’Yes, General, will do.’’

*In another corner of space*

In another corner of space, on a mostly deserted planet, which was literally nothing but desolate mountains, but with some nice vegetation on it.

Deep inside a part of the mountain, standing inside a steel chamber, kneeling before a mirror, a figure dressed in nothing but a black, skin-tight suit, stopping at just above the knee, looked at itself in a mirror.

While it’s suit was black, it’s body was red, with VERY long, white, hair that reached all the way down to the ground, but this was only when it was standing up, when down on all fours, the hair automatically stood itself up, preventing needless frustration. Currently, it was standing up on two legs, as it looked back at the reflection in the mirror of its personal chamber.

‘’All right.’’ It said, pushing itself up, away from the sink, where it had been washing its face. Its head turned, looking to the side of it, it could see its good old trusty armor with distended shoulder pads. It smiled, and turned towards it.

Picking up the armor, it held it up over its body, slipping it down, and sliding it down the rest, with its head moving up through the hole in the armor’s top.

It turned back, smirking, as it saw its reflection looking back at itself.

‘’Perfect. Now I am ready.’’ He fell to his legs, lowering one down towards the ground, raising his arms up into the air, striking a pose. His smirk contorted itself into a devious grin, as he saw himself in the mirror. ‘’P-perfect’’ He shook a little.

He stood back up, returning to standing on two legs. ‘’Still needs some work, but otherwise, I have definitely gotten better.’’ He tapped his arm, feeling a little sweat run down.

His devious look shifted into pure excitement, he leaned forward, holding up his arms, and clutching his hooves.

‘’I still cannot believe it. We are being sent on a mission.’’ He looked up, staring at the mirror. ‘’My first official one…’’ He lowered his head. ‘’I just hope that I don’t make them regret choosing me.’’ His excitement dropped a little, gaining a hint of nervousness.

There was a knock at his door, and he turned, looking towards it.

‘’Who!?’’ He called out.

‘’It’s me, silly…’’ He recognized that voice, almost tensing up as he heard it. ‘’Can I come in?’’ It asked.

‘’O-of course, just come in!’’

The door opened, and the form of a small figure greeted his eyes. The figure smiled back, before it trotted inside the room. It too adorned the same kind of armor that he wore, except, for that it had a small an insignia on it’s chest, which was in the shape of two arrows, who’s sides touched together, crossing the other.

Upon the seeing the new arrival, he blushed slightly. Thankfully, it was hidden from noticeable sight, due to the rest of his skin being red.

She trotted in towards the center of the room where he was. Her head turned, and she looked towards him, meeting his brown eyes, as he meet hers’.

‘’H-hi’’ He uttered nervously, gently, waving a hoof towards her, as she looked towards him.

She smiled, giggling, as she waved back.

‘’Hey, red.’’ He scoffed, rolling his eyes, as he shook his head.

‘’Blue.’’ He said, she giggled back.

‘’So…are you ready, rookie?’’ Her smile fading a little, he too lost some of his smile, but kept enough of it to continue smile in the manner that he already had smiled. She saw this smile, and her own vanished even more. ‘’This isn’t a game!’’ She shouted, causing him to flinch a little. ‘’This is your first mission, rookie, and you had better be ready to be on your best behavior when we are summoned.’’

‘’Yeah, speaking of ‘’summoned,’’ Where is he?’’ She raised a confused brow.

‘’I do not know who you are referring to.’’ This time it was his turn to raise a brow, he folded his arms.

‘’Lord Om-‘’

‘’Oh…!’’ She exclaimed. Her surprised look vanished away, replacing it with that of sadness. She lowered her head. ‘’He still has not come back from Equestria…By now, many believe him to have died in the explosion.’’

‘’And what do you think?’’ She heard him ask. Her head was slightly raised, and her eyes looked up towards him. ‘’Do you think he is alive…Even after all this time?’’ Her eyes looked away from him, staring out in front of them.

She shook her head back at him.

‘’I do not have any answers to such questions…’’ She chuckled, narrowing her eyes, and smirking. ‘’But I know that he cannot be easily vanquished…’’ Her smirk vanished away, contorting into a frown. ‘’But regardless of this, we should all be weary for the future. Without him, there is no certainty for what the future holds dark days are coming…For us all.’’

He nodded back. Folding his arms together.

‘’You want to go challenge the weakest of the soldiers stationed here?’’ He asked excited. He leaned forward, holding up his arms.

She looked her eyes away, raising a thoughtful eyebrow up.

‘’Sure, why not? It feels good to take a hard one to the face from time to time.’’

‘’All right, let’s go…’’ She turned, and they started towards the door. ‘’But I must warn you, if you are going to challenge me, then be prepared for a real workout.’’

‘’Heh he, all right.’’

*Equestria, Two days later*

High above the Everfree Forest, a shape of light shot across the airspace above it. It’s glow was orange, and pressing at a speed that was faster than that of the Wonderbolts’ best flyers. At the heart of the light, a figure had it’s arms crossed, frowning, as it speed across the sky towards Canterlot.

*Meanwhile, elsewhere*

Suddenly, a figure, shot up from it’s bed, sitting up-right in it’s bed, clutching it’s covers, as it started panting.

‘’Father!’’ She shouted.

Her head turned, looking around the room of her surroundings. Only to find that it was her own quarters, and by turning her head to the left, she looked out towards a massive swirling vortex of light.

While panting a little heavily, she started to slow it, bringing it down to a more controllable pace, eventually stabilizing it completely.

While sitting up right in her bed, she looked out in front of her. Lowering her head a little.

‘’I-…I can’t do this.’’ She said to herself, sinking her face into her hands. ‘’I mean, if they have the power to vanquish you, what hope do I have of defeating them?’’

Gently, a hand was placed on her shoulder. Her head shot out of her hands, looking out in front of her. She turned her head, looking behind her. What she saw behind her was a figure wearing armor similar to that she and her soldiers wore, though, with a few noticeable differences. The primary one being that the figure’s appearance had red skin, was Humanoid in shape, and that what should have been it’s carapace armored head, was bald, with a single appendage that went back atop, it’s head. A golden aura surrounded the figure, and it’s face was obstructed by the bright light that was being shined down onto her.

The strange new arrival made her jump, leaping out of her bed. Planting her feet against the floor, and taking an immediate defensive stance.

‘’Fear not, child…’’ The figure spoke, ‘’you have nothing to fear from me.’’ It folded it’s arms, looking back at her with a grin behind all the bright lights. ‘’I am a friend…’’ It’s grin vanished away, being replaced with a smirk, ‘’in fact, I have come here to train you.’’

This confused her greatly, making her raise an eyebrow.

‘’Train…me?’’

‘’Yesss. It has reached my ears of what you intend to do, and I can tell you firsthand that your weak powers will do nothing to combat the might of the Equestrians.’’

Seeing that he had no hostile intentions, she stopped standing in that defensive stance, and just folded her arms, as she looked back towards the new arrival.

‘’I’m listening…But what kind of training will it be? I’m kind of busy at the moment.’’

‘’Oh, trust me…’’ It raised it’s fist, tightening it, ‘’This training will be worth it in the end.’’

She looked back at the figure with suspicious eyes.

‘’And what do you want?’’ She asked

‘’Pardon?’’ The figure responded confused. She folded her arms.

‘’You would not be helping me unless you want something from me…What do you want from me?’’ Behind the bright light, the figure smiled.

‘’The same as you, vengeance.’’ It raised its fist, clenching it even tighter. ‘’Revenge upon those that have wronged me, and been nothing but obstructions towards my destiny.’’ She raised an eyebrow at it’s answer.

It took a step forward, raising it’s fist, and holding it out.

‘’Now what will it be? Rejection, or acceptation of my offer?’’

The beginning of a smile formed itself onto her lips, but she still kept her arms folded.

‘’Tell me, what do you think my answer is?’’

This time, it was it’s turn to smile. Smiling a devious looking smile.

‘’I think I will take that as a ‘’Yes’’…You being so vague and all.’’

Her smile vanished being replaced with a frown, through which, she growled through gritted teeth.
