Load Full Story Next ChapterTyphon Primaris, lush jungle world of sub-sector Aurelia and recruiting world of the Blood Ravens. In less than one minute it changed into a hellish wasteland of exposed mantle and brittle, burnt rock. The Ordo Malleus were the ones responsible for this. They had decreed the sub-sector tainted and infested with heretics and xenos, they had ordered exterminatus, cleansing all life from the sub-sector, human and xenos, corrupt and innocent. Typhon Primaris was the first, its death was temporarily halted by an Eldar seer council, only to be renewed by their deaths at the hands of Eliphas the Inheritor, my lord.
I am Bartlet, servant of Eliphas secondly and Slaanesh firstly. I am a Noise Marine, a Chaos Space Marine devoted entirely to the god of excess, lust, pain, pleasure, perfection, and hedonism. After being bargained away like a mere cultist by my Noise Champion into the hands of Eliphas, I had served him vigilantly in his quest to defeat the likewise heretical Azariah Kyras, chapter master and chief librarian of the Blood Ravens from sacrificing the chapter itself to Khorne. I followed Eliphas to Typhon Primaris, in hopes of defeating Azariah, only to meet the claws of exterminatus at the hands of the Inquisition. As I stood there, the planet writhe, scream, and convulse underneath my own feet, and witness it dying with eyes full of hatred for the Inquisition and Azariah Kyras,
I prayed to Slaanesh.
My prayers were answered.
But not by him.
Twilight was searching the royal archives in Canterlot keep, but she was far from the very place herself. Infact, she was still in Ponyville, inside of her makeshift library home, mentally probing the magical defenses of the forbidden archives. She had no doubt in the fact that she could penetrate the archives without leaving any trace of her entrance with her magical abilities alone, she just required immense concentration and isolation. To achieve this, she given Spike a day off to pursue his desires or needs at his own leisure under the guise of a mind splitting headache, he had accepted this easily enough, perhaps hoping to see his amore, Rarity.
After a moment of that would be the magical equivalent of twenty running of the leaves at the same time, amplified by ten, Twilight slipped into the archives, past the barriers. Free to explore the forbidden tomes unmolested, she quickly analyzed the books in one quick moment, finding only one tome describing something interesting. She inspected it more closely. She did sense it right, this book had the instructions for a summoning spell, but not just any summoning spell. A summoning spell which would allow the caster to summon anything or anypony instantly from any location! She quickly sponged up every last word and detail from it, absorbing it's knowledge quickly and effectively, and she severed the link to the archives, a single thought appearing in her head.
Why was this forbidden?
She didn't understand, this could potentially advance convenience tenfold, she wondered why her enlightened teacher and ruler, Celestia had hidden this. In the simplest of terms, she was puzzled. Excited, she decided to test the spell. Quickly pouring over the stored instructions, she prepared to summon the empty glass infront of her next to her feet. A purple glow surrounded her likewise purple horn as she prepared the spell, cautiously going slow. The glow surrounding her horn increased into a buzzing haze, small sparks and embers drifting and popping off, she took no notice however, as her eyes were closed in concentration. Just as she released the massive amount of buzzing energy, she was thrown backward by a loud boom. Eyes still closed in concentration and her head swaying with the dizziness of being thrown back, she asked herself.
Was that a side-effect of the spell?
Slowly, she opened her eyes, before turning her head and standing were her bed was once, was a monolithic statue staring at her with neon, purple eyes.
"What is the meaning of this summon?" I found myself asking the startled horned, purple animal infront of me. The creature simply stared at me, dumbfounded.
"Answer me whelp." I ordered, getting impatient.
"Uhh..uh.." The creature stuttered, with a voice reminiscent of femininity.
"Now!" I commanded, growing intensely irritated.
"Wel-l, I'm Twilight Spa-" She started, only to have me cut off.
"I do not give a shit about who you are! Tell me why you summoned me and I may spare you."
Shortly before she could offer an explanation, a nearby window was burst open, one of her species flew in on feathered wings, it lacked a horn, it's coat was a neon cyan and it's tail and mane were split into the different colours of the rainbow.
"I did it Twi! I did another Soo..." She yelled triumphantly, but slowly trailed off as she saw me.
"Whats this?" She asked, curiously, as she slowly stepped forward, only to have me raise my side-arm, a bolt pistol with a pink trim and a Slaaneshi icon burnt into the side and filled with purple wax, aimed at her.
"Stay back, xenos scum! Or I will eviscerate you!" I snarled.
"Oh yeah? Mister tough guy eh? I can take you!" She said, barely taking into account my stature. In response, I quickly turned my gaze to the other creature and fired at it's horn, severing it at it's tip, the bolt tearing through the wall behind it with a deafening bang.
The purple one simply gaped in shock at her broken horn, but the cyan one was angry.
"What the hell? Who do you think you are!" She yelled, before pouncing at me, only to have her yanked out of the air by my hand, suspending her above the floor by her neck, choking her.
"Ignorant fool.." I said, throwing her across the room with a flick of my wrist, she crashed into a small table, severing it in half, she was unconscious. The purple one was still shocked, staring at the scene instead of her shattered horn. I grabbed her by her cracked horn, and dragged her over to the center of the room, withdrawing a blade from my side.
"W-what are you doing?" She gasped, incredibly scared.
I did not respond with words, my actions spoke louder than them. I held her down with my right hand, and slowly sawed off the purple and pink star marking on her flank with the rusted, purple blade. She let out an agonizing scream as the skin was torn off, a small amount of muscle and fat dangling from it. Where the marking was, there was now a bloody crater of exposed muscle, the skin torn right off.
"This will make a good standard, thank you." I complimented with a cheerful tone.
"W-w-wh-hy?" She stuttered out, sobbing.
"Because I've got nothing better to do." I replied, letting a small laugh escape my lips and through the vox of my pink helmet.
