Prologue

    "Wake up!" yelled a boy names Austen. Austen is a young man who is a little on the overweight side, he has dark brown hair with a good looking facial structure, he has clean face, as smooth as a babies bottom. Austen on this fine day was sporting a plain dark red shirt with a pair of dark gray sweat pants on. "you've been sleeping forever!" Austen yells at a sleeping man while standing over him.

    Suddenly the man awoke and his hand grabbed Austen by the throat, the man said with violence "if you yell at me one more time, I'm going to punt your ass through the window." He said with a slight snarl in his voice, he then shoved him away.

    Austen jumped back "Jesus, Xander! Someone looks like they haven't had their coffee today." He said while holding his neck after it being slightly strangled.

  The man, Xander looked up at with a serious face. "I don't drink coffee, at least not anymore." He said with a flat expression on his face.

    Austen sighed and started to walk away "you just ruin all the fun, don't ya?" Austen says as he walked out of the door.

    Xander sighed and got up to get ready for the day ahead of him, he then walked into the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. He examined his features, Xander was far on the healthy side, he had a farmers tan from the days of working with his grandfather, Xander has a good looking body, his face is strong, in a good way, he has a strong jaw line and a slight beard growing on his face. Xander had blonde hair that was shortened and spiked up in the front. "I can still remember the days when I would wish to grow a beard, now I just shave every few days" he says while grabbing the razor and sighing, he then proceeded to remove his facial hair. After Xander got done doing the usual morning routine, he walked out of the bathroom and he chose his outfit out for the day. Xander put on a black baseball tee and a pair of blue jeans, along side with his black and orange Nike running shoes. Xander smiled and looked out the window 'This is the exact reason why I love living in Georgia, the trees, along with the sun, it's gorgeous' he thought to himself. Xander walks out of his room and looks to his left, "huh, he hasn't come out yet, he must've been playing those damn games again." He says as he travels down the steps of their shared home.

    "Hey Xander, catch!" Austen said as throws the apple as hard as he can, aiming straight for Xanders face.

    Xander instinctively caught it. "Nice to see you're awake enough to know the morning drill!" Austen said with a toothy grin.

    "Yeah, it's one of the few beneficial things you do around here." Xander said with a smart ass grin, he then proceeded to take a bite into the apple and chew with satisfaction.

    "Hey! What's that supposed to mean?" Austen said with a hard stare.

    "Hey, calm down man, I mean, you totally didn't yell at me to wake up and proceed to annoy me." Xander said smiling.

    "well, maybe you shouldn't have stayed up until eleven at night! I went to sleep at nine and woke up at eight!" Austen said beaming with pride

   Xander rolled his eyes and sighed "Moving onto more important things of like, what are we gonna do today?" Xander said with a pleasant smile on his face.

    "Dude! We should totally go and see Batman versus Superman!" Austen said in his cheerful tone.

    "Well, it would get Justin out of that room!" Xander said with a chuckle.

    "Yup, it sure would!" Austen said while looking upstairs.

     Xander turned around and walked into the kitchen. Xander furthermore moved to the fridge, pulled out a bottle of water, and chugged down half of it before hearing the pitter patter of feet on the hardwood, he turned around and saw Justin coming into the kitchen.

Justin was a skinny 18 year old that tended to play to many video games at night, Justins facial features consisted of a strong jaw line and a bowl haircut that girls seemed to love, Justins face was a smooth cut, he could grow a beard but he didn't like how it looked.

    "Holy shit, you look dead!" said Xander while slowly sipping on his water.

    "I was playing to many games last night" said Justin in a groggy voice.

    "Dude, you can play games, but you are gonna have to grow up, youre fresh out of high school and you still don't know what you you want to do for a living." Xander said with a hint of concern.

    Justin sighed and looked at Xander "look, I don't want to worry about that, okay?" He said with a tone that screamed 'please, don't annoy me today!!!'

    Xander sighed and chuckled "alright, I want talk about it today, but you can't run away from it forever! Now go and get dressed!"

    "Why?" Justin exhaled and looked at Xamder with a annoyed face.

    "Because." Xander smirked at Justin

    "Please, Xander, stop, please." Justin said in a begging tone

     "Fine. We are going to the movies to go and see Batman versus Superman."

    Justins eyes seemed to light up really quickly "Oh, hell yeah!" Justin then hurried out of the kitchen and up the stairs.

    Xander chuckled and sighed "I never new he liked movies that much." Xander headed his way into the living, where he saw Austen talking on the phone with one of his friends it seemed like.

  Austen hung up the phone and turned around to see Xander standing there. "Ah! Good that you walked in here, because Jerald wants to go to the movies with us"  

    Xander smiled and nodded "Well, we haven't been hanging out much recently so why not hang out on a day where we have nothing on the to do list." He smiled wide and sighed with happiness.

    Austen stared at Xander oddly "You seem happier than usual today, don't you think?" He crossed his arms waiting for him to respond

    "Oh, yeah...." Xander said while rubbing his neck "well, I guess I'm always happy when I'm around my friends, you know?" Xander smiled at Austen to prove his point.

    Austen smiled back and said "if only you were like this all of the time!" He then smirked to show he was joking

    Xander shrugged and said "Well, I would be like this all of the time if we actually hung out like normal friends would" Xander said trying to express how he feels about hanging out.

    Austen and Xander heard Justin coming down the steps and eventually saw him pop out from around the corner

    Justin looked at them and said "so... Are we ready to go?" Justin said expecting a response

    Xander smiled and said "we have to get Jerald first, since he wants to take this opportunity to hang out with us" Xander said with his usual calm relaxing voice.

    Austen started heading for the door and opened it "ladies first." Austen said with a smirk

    Justin rolled his eyes and said "fuck you, dude" while heading out of the door

    Xander nodded at Austen to say thanks for holding the door open for him and headed for his car, a 2007 Ford Mustang Gt.

    Justin looked at Xander unamused "are you gonna stand there or unlock it?" Justin said with aggravated tone.

    Xander realized and hit his unlock button "looks like Justin beat you to the passenger seat, Austen, looks like you'll have to sit in the tight backseat." Xander said with a tone that said 'sorry'

    Austen sighed with pity for himself "damn, backseats and Mustangs do not go together" Austen proceeded to let the seat forward and squeeze into the back.

    Xander chuckled at Austens words and got into the driver seat, he then turned the key in the ignition, letting the car roar to life "that's the main reason I bought this car." Xander said with proudness in his words  

    Austen slapped himself and said "all this car does is ooze with testosterone" he said while rubbing his face

    Xander laughed and said "but yet it's a female!" He then rubbed the shift knob to show the car some love and put it into reverse to let the car roll out of the driveway.

    After about a twenty five minute drive of constant talking about who will win between Batman and Superman, they eventually arrived at their friend Jeralds house, when he walked out of his house they saw his outfit. Jerald was at the max of the healthiness scale, Jerald was a very strong individual that was currently wearing a black under armor shirt, Nike shorts, and black running shoes. After doing the whole 'letting people into the back of a Mustang' process again, Jerald finally got to say hi

    After Jerald got comfy he said "What's up, guys? Are y'all ready to see Superman kick some ass?!?" Jerald asked excitedly.

    Austen gave Jerald a death stare "No, no, no, you are mistaking sir, Batman will be kicking some ass, more specifically, supermans ass." Austen said with a proud smile.

    Jerald eventually removed the smile off of Austens face by saying "nah, this movie won't last that long, Superman's just gonna snap Batmans neck, dude!"

    After a little bit of arguing the two they eventually just ignored each other.

     Justin turned to Xander and said "so, how do you like the car ever since you got it?" Justin asked trying to spark up a conversation.

    Xander seemed to light up when he said this and said "oh, I love it! It's so mint, man!" Xander smiled wide.

    Justin smiled "well, you deserve it after saving up all of that money!" Justin chuckled at Xanders reaction.

    Justins expression went into full confusion.

    Xander noticed and asked "what's wrong?" His voice filled with concern.

    Justin exhaled and said "oh, it's nothing, I thought I saw a spark on the road, that's all" he said while leaning back into the seat.

    Xander smiled and laughed "that's what you get for playing games all night!" He continues to bare his smile on his face.

    Justins expression fell flat "dude, you don't see that?" Justin asked with fear in his voice.

    Xander got concerned for Justin until Xander started to see it too " What the hell?" Xander said quietly to himself

    The car started shaking and sparks were flying everywhere, Everyone was yelling or saying some sort of cuss word in the book, they were scared for their life when they saw what appeared to be a worm hole in space, they just froze, they didn't know what to do, it felt like they were moving slowly through it until the last thing they saw was the trunk of a tree.

   Xander woke up in a field of flowers "W-where am I?" He then looked down at his hands and they looked smaller, about as small as they were his freshmen year of high school.

    "Xander...." A voice said trailing off in the wind "help... Me...."

    That voice... Xande knew that voice and then it hit him "M-mom?!?" He said desperately.

    "My baby boy...." His mothers voice continued to say in the wind.

    Xander looked around with tears in his eyes "Give me a second chance! I can save you this time!" He cried out desperately.

    "I always hated you." His mothers voice said from behind him.

    Xander turned around quickly and saw his mother, a dead woman with red hair and pale skin, you could see her cheek bones through the flesh. "M-mother?"

    The woman had a knife in her hand and raised it "I always hated you" she said with a cold voice. The woman slammed the knife into Xander eye, he screamed in pain, and then like before the car hit the tree, he was in the worm hole of space, he saw the long tunnel that looked like it lasted forever.

    Xander sprung awake, gasping for air. 'It, it was a dream!' He thought to himself before wiping his hand over his face, he then pulled his hand away fast when his face had a sharp pain run through it.

    Jerald squatted down beside Xander and patted his back "you okay?" He asked with worry in his voice.

    Xander exhaled and inhaled deeply "no, I just lost my car, and I feel like shit" he said while looking towards his car, the front end had been crushed, the engine looked like it could be rebuilt, but the car itself was definitely dead, the frame appeared to be a little crooked from his angle.

    Jerald sighed "yeah, the cars definitely gone man, but hey! At least we're still alive!" He smiled to stay positive.

    Xander smiled at Jerald for him trying to be nice to him "thanks, i just don't know what to do, never in a million years would I have dreamed of something this." He said shaking his head.

    Jerald nodded "I'm with you on that one!" Jerald said showing some emotion in his voice

    Xander looked around and said "where are we exactly?" He asked, oblivious to everything going on around him.

    Jerald exhaled and told Xander "well, we're not sure, we had Justin go and look for help and he eventually came back and said there was a town not to far from here, so when you get ready to move, we are going to that town to get assistance." He said with while popping some of his knuckles.

    Xander slowly stood up to avoid passing out again and turned towards Jerald "I'm ready to go now, I'm just ready to get away from this mess." He said with sad tone.

    Jerald frowned when he heard Xander talk like that "okay man, we're gonna head out now" Jerald said comforting Xander. Jerald gave Austen and Justin the signal to lead the way towards the town.

    Xander waked quietly most of the way, he had a depressed atmosphere about him, he just wanted to see a movie, and what does he get? Confusion, bad memories, a wrecked cars, a bad reputation for driving, and he suffers the amount of money he lost due to the car.

-A few minutes later-

    Xander stood on the hill, looking towards the town, it seemed very colorful, it oozed out peacefulness just by sitting there 'hopefully we won't have any troubles in town, I don't know how much more of this I can take.'

Chapter 1- The arrival

    Jerald looked at Xander with concern "are you okay dude?" He spoke with a raised eyebrow.

    Xander snapped out of it and looked at Jerald "oh, yeah! I'm fine!" He said as he jogged towards them all

    Jerald sighed and said "look, Xander, I know it just happened like 5 minutes ago, but you're gonna have to focus on the important task of finding help. I know you love cars but quite frankly, I love my life, I'm sure you do as well... Just, try to focus, okay?" He finished the sentence looking at Xander with his hand on his shoulder.

    Xander nodded "can we, just go... I just need to think while we walk, okay?" Xander finished with a depressed sigh.

    Jerald shook his head yes and started walking forward "feel free to spark up a conversation when you feel a little better." He said before turning forward.

    Austen started clapping his hands randomly while walking and it earned him a good back handed slap from Justin, due to the fact that Justin gets annoyed by spontaneous loud noises.

    Justin wore a angry face and said "you're a waste matter on this planet!" He said with a aggressive tone.

    Austen rubbed his face and laughed "what planet are we talking about?" He chuckled with joy.

    Justin dead panned at Austen and said "Earth, genius." He looked down and shook his head.

    Austen chuckles some more and said "what if we weren't on Earth?" He stared with happiness.

    Justin just stared at Austen and said "I would shit myself, that's what I would do." He said neutrally.

    Austen then laughed out loud and continued to walk with a wide grin on his face while Justin looked at him like he was psychotic.

    The group eventually walked up to the sign that read 'ponyville'

    Jerald sighed "well, I'm sure places have been named worse." He laughed and said "like how there's a bacon Georgia!" He continued laughing silently to himself.

    Xander stared at the sign 'ponyville, huh, interesting name.' He thought to himself.

    Austen just giggled at it and said "maybe it's ruled by a bunch of ponies" he continued to giggle at his own joke.

    Justin stared at him blankly "do you just think of this stupid shit out of the blue?" He asked him with a raised eyebrow.

    Austen taps on his chin for a few seconds and then says "yeah, pretty much!" He then wore his goofy grin again.

    Justin rubs his forehead and says "I honestly don't know how he's not in a mental hospital...." He said to himself out loud.

    "Hiya!" Said a feminine voice from behind them.

    Austen turned around and said "how's it going?" He said cheerfully, until he saw who was there. "Aww, who's playing a prank on us" he walked forward and pet the pink pony "who left this pink pony all alone?"

    "Why're you petting me?" She said while looking up him.

    Austen jumped back and fell on his ass "HOLY SHIT! WHAT THE HELL?" He crawled back and leaned up on Xanders leg.

    "Did I scare you?" The pink pony asked curiously.

    Austens eyes went wide and he said "Why in fact, yes you did cotton candy pony" he said breathing hard.

    She perked her ears up said "oh! It sounds like my friends are coming!"

    Austen went dumbfounded "f-friends?" He wore a silly face.

    A few seconds later five other ponies ran up and looked at us in confusion.

    "What are those things?!?" A white one said.

    "I don't know but if one makes one wrong move then I'll tear them a new one!" A rainbow haired one said.

    "Now calm down, Rainbow, we don't want to cause harm, we want to be peaceful.

    Xander stood there, not really caring to be honest, he was cautious, yes, but if they wanted to be friends then he honestly didn't care

    Jerald stepped forward and gently said "Umm... H-hi?" He smiled weakly.

    *gasp*

    "They can speak our language!" Said the orange one said.

    Xander just sighed and stepped forward "where are we?" He said getting straight to the point, he didn't have much emotion in his voice so they didn't know if it was violent or not.

    "Ponyville!" The pink one said happily as usual.

    Xander face palmed, which caused the ponies to flinch "No! Where are we?!? Like the damn country, in fact, tell me if we're on eart or not!" Xander said being impatient.

    Some of the ponies flinched but the purple one stayed calm and said "you're not on earth, the country is Equestria, we mean no harm to you, and it seems to be the same with you. Look, we don't know what's going on, and we want to find out, but you need to help us, so will you come with is so we can clear up this whole situation." She said those words very slow and calm.

    Jerald stepped forward and told them "if it means we can learn more about where we are then we will definitely come with you." He extended a hand to greet her "my names Jerald, what's yours?"

    The purple unicorn stepped closer and shook his hand "Twilight sparkle" she smiled when he nodded at her. She shook everyone else's hands and then the orange one stepped forward.

    The orange one shakes Xanders hand first, they both had a good grip so they matched equal grip and shook "Applejack"

    Xander smiled and said "my names Xander, it's a pleasure to meet you" he nodded at her and repeated.

    The blue winged one came up to Justin and said "the one only, rainbow dash" she said oozing with pride.

    Justin smirked and said "the one of many, Justin" and shook her hoof.

    The white unicorn stepped forward and shook their hands telling them her name is "Rarity"

    The pink regular pony shook their hands spastically and said her name was "pinkie pie"

    A timid yellow winged one stepped forward and said "F-fluttershy"

    Austen shook her hand in a friendly way and said "My Austen!" He said cheerfully.

    Twilight nodded at them and said "please, follow me this way" she started to walk forward alongside with her friends

    They all followed the group of ponies through town and they were shocked to see the colorful ponies, the stuctures, the things they saw were things they had never seen something like before. Many of the ponies looked at the group of humans like as if they were wild rabid dogs, even a few shouted blasphemy at them.

     Eventually they all got to a tall tree looking structure, you could obviously tell that it was a house on the inside. They all stepped inside and observed the place, it had shelves and shelves of books,

    Xander smiled "I could learn a thing or two here" he chuckled to himself about funny history mishaps.

    Twilight spoke up and said "well, princess celestia will be here soon, so please do be patient" she asked nicely

    Xander laughed and said "we have all the time in the world, we have nowhere to be" he finished with a pleasant smile

    Twilight giggle and stopped when a white flash erupted in the center of the room.

    A white horse with wings and a horn popped into vision after the light faded, we were all just staring, we didn't know what the hell that horse was called, what? A pegacorn?

    The pegacorn spoke and said "greetings new beings, I welcome you with kindness"

    Xander looked over and saw everyone bowing so he did it as well, he supposed it shows respect for a princess.

    Celestia signaled to rise and she continued to speak "I have heard that you all appeared out of the sky, is that correct?"

    Jerald nodded and said "yes, princess, we got thrown out of the sky and into a tree." Jerald smiled kindly to show peace.

    Celestia smiled back at Jerald and said "I suppose I will break the bad news first" *sigh* "I'm afraid to say that it is simply impossible for me to perform universal teleportation, magic simply can't extend that far, so it'd be impossible to send you home." She said with sadness.

    Jerald nodded "I was sure we were gonna have that happen, and we are fine with it, simply simce we didn't really have lives on our home planet." He smiles politely to the princess.

    Celestia smiled and said "I do have to examine you, and now I do not have to ask a bunch of questions, I simply have to ask you for permission to scan and I can see if you're safe for equestria or not." Celestia said with a pleasant smile.

    Jerald nodded "well, you can start with me if you'd like. You have my permission" he smiled warmly

   Celestia proceeded to scan Jeralds mental state and nodded "you pass" she then did to everyone else and as expected, the passed.

    Celestia smiled warmly and said "I know I have not been here for long, next time we meet I will give a proper introduction, but for now, please do some sleeping arrangements" as she said that, she teleported again back to her castle as supposed.

    Xander looked at Twilight and said "what kind of pony is she?" He asked with curiosity

    Twilight smiled and said "oh! She's a alicorn! All princesses are alicorns." She explained happily.

    Xander smiled "i really like what you've done with the place, I could probably learn a few things here!"

    Twilight giggled "thank you, you could probably learn some equestrian history or you could touch up on your writing skills!" She finished with a giggle.

    Jerald stepped in and said "so... She said sleeping arrangements... What do we do about that?" He asked twilight.

    Twilight tapped her chin a few times "Hmm... I have one spare room, so I could have one of you stay here" she smiled at them all.

    Xander looked at the books and said "I can stay here, I'd be happy to help maintain this place" he looked at Twilight with a friendly smile.

    Applejack said "I have a guest bedroom if one of y'all need it" she said with politeness

    Jerald shrugged and said "eh, why not, I could love the farm life." He the chuckle pad at himself

    Fluttershy stepped in and said "umm... I have a place for one of you humans to stay, if you want to." She said softly.

    Justin raised his hand "yeah, I'm in." He said while leaning on the wall.

    Pinkie pie looked at Austen and said "Mr. And Mrs. Cake have a spare bedroom! You can stay with me!" She said giggling

    Austen smiled wide "well at least we have the same sense of humor!"

   Twilight beamed "well, I guess you girls can show them their rooms." She smiled at them while saying.

    They all exchanged goodbyes and parted ways.

    Xander looked at Twilight and said "where shall I be staying?"

    Twilight perked up and smiled "oh! Follow me, it's just up the stairs." She said while walking up to the second story. Twilight walked to a room that was closed and opened the door up that revealed a bed, nice window view and a nightstand

    Xander smiles and looks at Twilight "it's odd how being nice can make friends with a different species just like" *snap* "that"

    Twilight nodded "yup, pretty interesting, I'm sure you're tired, because I'm pretty tired right now" she yawned "I'll get to know you more tomorrow but today's been exhausting." She said while stretching.

    Xander nodded "I understand, I'll see you tomorrow Twilight. Goodnight." Xander said warmly.

    Twilight smiled back and said "Goodnight, Xander" she said as she closed the door.

    Xander sighed happily and got undressed for sleeping, hoped into the bed, and took a few minutes to review over the day before falling asleep.

 

 

 

Chapter 2- So, what now?

    The sun peacefully sat in the sky on this fine day, shining all over the land of Equestria and it inhabitants, especially on some of the new ones.

    The Sun shined into Xanders eyes, causing him to roll around and get up. He yawned and stretched, causing his back to pop loudly. Xander smiled and said "that feels so much better!" He said referring to his back "First time sleeping in a different world is a success." He continued while getting up and gathering the clothes on the ground. Xander put the clothes on and said "I may smell a little, but I will have to collect some materials for my daily activities, I might gather up the boys and head to Raritys place for a new set of clothes" he said while opening the door and exiting into the hallway of the upstairs of Twilights library. Xander ventured forth down the stairs and saw Twilight and here assistant she believed it was.

    Twilight heard Xander and turned to face him "Good morning, Xander!" She said as she beamed happily.

    Xander smiled to the warm welcome and responded "Good morning, Twi." He said happily.

    Twilight giggled and said "nice to see you're comfy enough to call me a nickname." She finished with a contented sigh.

    Xander smirked and said "yup, I've gotta grow accustom to this new world, so I better make a good name for myself." He finished with a happy sigh.

    Twilight nodded and moved onto a different subject "You need to meet my assistant, Spike. He may act up sometimes but he's harmless!" She said while patting the mini dragon on the head.

    Spike wore an irritated expression and said "Twilight! I'm not a kid anymore!" He said with aggravation in his voice.

    Xander smiled and stuck his hand out to Spike "nice to meet you pal!" He said with a friendly tone.

    Spike seemed to lighten up when Xander did that "Nice to meet you too, mister" he said while shaking His hand.

    Xander chuckled "You've got a nice grip pal!" He said trying to make Spike feel more grown up "you've probably gotten it by doing so much cleaning up around here!" He finished with a laugh and let go of Spikes hand.

    Spike smiled wide and posed "yeah, I've gotta keep build these bad boys!" He said while flexing his muscles.

    Xander laughed and said "Remind me not to ever mess with you!" He finished while putting his hands up in a playful manner.

    Twilight giggled and said "Alright you two, I think you guys have made a good impression on each other" she said while looking at Xander kindly "Now, Spike, I want you to go and help Rarity out at the boutique, I'm sure she'll have some prepping to do for some clothes." She said trying to have Spike willingly leave.

    Spike had a smile as wide as a mile "Sure thing Twilight!" He dado while bolting out of the door.

    Xander laughed and said "he must enjoy helping her, huh?" He asked with his arms crossed.

    Twilight giggled and responded "He has a crush on her, so when the two are around each other, he acts love struck." She said while making a pose of love.

    Xander shook his head "Moving onto more important things, what are we gonna be doing to day?" He said while hoping her to say something that involves his hygiene being cleaned up.

    Twilight smiled and responded "we are gonna have to get you a few things for comfort, things that you feel will comfort you." She said while smiling warmly at him.

    Xander fist pumped in his head and said "Great! I'm ready to go now so I can take a shower!" He spoke with a excited tone.

    Twilight giggled at his reaction "well, we better head out, there will be a few things you need." She said while opening the door.

    Xander followed her and stepped outside of the library. He was greeted by the bright sun and a array of bright colors "yup, still as colorful and bright as before!" He said with a chipper tone.

    Twilight smiled at him and continued forth, it appeared she was leading for the shop the read 'The daily needs shop'

    Xander read it and chuckled " That's a very straight forward name, oh well, at least you can guess what they have." He said to himself quietly.

    The two entered the store and were greeted by a few odd looks, it was expected due to Xamder being a new creature. They roamed through the store collecting supplies like shampoo, some blankets, a comb, bar soap, a pillow, and deodorant.

    Xander held the basket of supplies while standing in line, he was wearing a smile due to Twilight being so kind to him. "Thank you, Twi." He said with a thankful tone.

    Twilight smiled warmly "you're welcome, Xander, I wouldn't ever make a guest have to go without any creature comforts." She finished with a wide smile.

    Xander showed her a appreciating smirk before putting the basket of materials onto the counter.

    The sales associate looked at the human for a few seconds before giving Twilight the check.

    Twilight smiled and pain the worker, before walking out with Xander and the supplies.

    Xander observed the surroundings, he saw the botique, Sugar Cube Corner, Ponyvilles club, and some of the neat residential houses.

    Twilight saw Xander looking around and smiled "There are a lot of hangouts around here, but I would say my favorite one to go to with my friends is the Ponyville club." She said while walking to their destination.

    Xander nodded and responded "maybe one day, we can all go there?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

    Twilight beamed and said "we can go this weekend! Everypony should be clear of any activities this weekend." She finished with friendly tone.

    Xander laughed and spoke "I'm sure everyone will want to go, we enjoy hanging out while doing fun activities." He said while looking a the library coming up.

    Twilight nodded, agreeing with him on that. She opened the door and said "well, I suppose you can get bathe and then gather the others to go and get some clothes made for you to wear." She said while letting Xander in.

    Xander walked inside and smiled "yup! I've been craving this shower ever since last night!" He said with joy while walking up the stairs and towards the bathroom. Xander proceeded to open the door and walk in, he moved to the shower, turned it on, and turned back to set his materials down on the bathroom sink. Xander undressed, got into the warm shower, and felt the water wash away the dirt and grime on his flesh. Xander sighed with content while scrubbing his body down with soap and shampoo. He eventually got done washing himself but instead of getting out, he sat down in the tub and let the hot water run on his skin. He started to review the events that have happened "wow, how am I able to keep calm? In fact, how have we all not panicked and run away? I don't know, I guess it's just peacefulness here, it's contagious, I suppose at least." He finished, letting the water hit his back.

    There was a knock on the door "Xander? Your friends are here, they're ready to get fitted for clothing." Twilight said through the door.

    Xander turned off the shower and responded "I'll be out in a minute." Xander said loud enough for her to hear, he heard her hooves click off in the hall.

    After a few minutes of him styling his hair by spiking it up in the front with the hair gel Twilight bought for him, he came out of the bathroom with the same outfit, he walked down the stairs to be greeted by his friends that were sitting on the couch.

    Jerald smirked "looks like Mrs. Sunshine has finally gotten done getting ready!"

    Xander playfully punched Jerald on his shoulder and said "yeah, yeah, screw you too dude." He said smiling.

    Justin threw up his arms "I'm ready to get clothes! I don't want to sit here any longer!" He said trying to rush everything.

    Xander shook his head and smiled "alright! I get it!" He then turned to Twilight and said "I suppose I'll be back in a few hours"

    Twilight smiled "I was thinking about you all meet us girls at la trattoria near sugar cube corner for dinner" she said to all of them.

    Xander nodded "Sounds good, I'll see you then" he then moved to the door to walk out of it. He was greeted by a slightly dimmer setting 'how long was I in there? It looks to be about four now' he thought to himself.

    The group of humans walked to the boutique owned by Rarity and headed inside. They were greeted by the door chiming and hooves hitting the ground.

     "Ah! I've been waiting for you all!" They heard Rarity say coming into view.

    Jerald nodded "yup, exactly how long do you think this will take?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

    Rarity tapped her chin for a few moments before speaking "well, I need to measure which won't take to long, but I will make one outfit for each of you, which will take a few hours, I'll make more outfits but I will have them for you by tomorrow afternoon!" She said with a chipper tone.

    Austen finally spoke and said "Well! I guess all we can do while we wait is well, wait!" He said stating the obvious.

    They all looked at him with unamused expressions.

    Jerald sighed and stepped up for his measurements.

    It took a second before getting the idea for the measurements of the pants, she looked confused for the shirt before doing multiple measurements so she could get a good fit. After she did Jerald she did the others without any complications before speaking "I have a good idea for what colors will look good on you all!" She said before walking into the back.

    The boys sat around for a few minutes before hearing Austen speak.

    "I spy... Something blue." Austen said trying to speed up the process.

    Xander looked before spotting the blue and black dress "that dress?" He guessed.

    Austen smiled "yup! Now it's your turn!" He said waiting for Xander to spot something.

    Xander looked and saw a pair of red glasses on the table "I spy something red." He said waiting for them to guess.

    They looked around before Justin spoke up.

    "Those glasses" Justin guessed

    Xander nodded and said "now it's your turn"

    Justin smirked and said "I spy something stupid" he kept wearing his smirk.

    Xander caught onto who he was referring to, he saw him looking right at Austen, he matched Justin's smirk and said "Why'd you call yourself stupid Justin?" He said before laughing.

    Justins smirk fell and he sighed in defeat "It was, Austen, not me" he said before exhaling.

    The boys continued to play little games like that for a few hours before Rarity walked back into the area.

    Rarity handed each of them outfits that really matched their appearances "I think these clothes will suit you all very well!" She said with a wide smile.

    They all examined them and they all had a smile on their face.

    Xander really enjoyed his outfits look, it was a bright red T shirt that had been built with soft materials, she had constructed him a pair of dark blue jeans to go along with it.

    Austen got a dark grey T shirt along with a pair of regular blue jeans.

    Jerald received a blue and white baseball tee accompanied with a pair of beige pants.

    Justin got a cream white T shirt along side some beige cargo shorts.

    Rarity looked at them waiting for their opinions on the outfits.

    Xander smiled and said "thank you, Rarity. These clothes loo, really good, in fact, I'm going to wear them now" he finished before going into the changing room.

    The rest of them said essentially the same thing as Xander, but while they took turns changing Rarity headed out to go on ahead to the restaurant they were all meeting up at.

    Jerald looked into the mirror "damn, look at that sexy beast!" He said complimenting himself.

    Austen laughed and said "why are you calling me sexy dude?" He said standing behind him.

    Jerald tuned around and dead panned at Austen "that's gay." He said plainly.

    Austen laughed "exactly!" He said before walking out of the door, heading towards the restaurant.

   Jerald and Justin followed him a few seconds later.

    Xander sighed and stared at himself in the mirror "I've gotta pay Rarity back when I get a job. I wonder if any of the girls know anyone hiring in repairing machines?" He said before heading out of the door.

    They all eventually found the restaurant and went inside. They looked for the girls before finding them at a big table. They all sat down and ordered drinks before talking to them.

    Twilight leaned to Xander and said "that outfit really suits you." She complimented.

    Xander smiled and said "thanks, Twi. Rarity did a really good job on our clothes." He said wearing the same smile.

    Twilight smiled and said "while you were gone I found some books for you to check out, I know you said you liked some history so I went ahead and got you some books about historical legends." She said with her usual warm smile.

    Xander rubbed her head "thank you, that should give me something to do if I get bored." He said still rubbing her head, not realizing what he was doing.

    Twilight didn't seem to mind about him rubbing her head and said "yeah, I thought I would just help you out since you were to busy getting clothes made." She said with a kind tone.

    Xander then remembered and asked "actually, I was wondering if you knew anyone hiring?" He asked with a curiosity.

    Twilight perked up hearing this "work? I think you may want to slow down a bit, you just got here! I'm sure Applejack could use some help, but other than her you may want to make yourself known to Equestria." She xplained.

    Xander realized it was only his second day and he was looking for jobs 'why have I been so welcoming of this change? Maybe I truly did want to start over....' He thought to himself. Xander looked at Twi and smiled "you're right, I need to take a step back and make myself accustom to everypony else." He said to her. 'Hey! I didn't mess up on saying everypony!' He thought to himself happily.

    Twilight nodded "Exactly, let me worry about a source of income and you worry about becoming a citizen of Equestria." She told him with a voice filled with pure kindness.

    Xander smiled at her and took a sip of his drink. 'Why is she being so kind? Is that just how these ponies are?' He thought to himself.

   Jerald grabbed Xanders attention and said "Xander! Please tell them I can squat six-hundred and twenty-five pounds!" He said with a boasting tone.

    Xander laughed and shook his head yes "yes, it is true, Jerald can squat that." Xander finished with a smile.

    Jerald snapped back around towards Rainbow Dash "see!" He boasted around.

    Rainbow Dash shook her head in denial "No way! There's no way a two legged human can withstand as much weight as me!"

    The waitress brought the food and set it down.

    The group of friends joked around shared laughs for a few hours, the humans figured out you can receive alcohol at the age of 18 in Equestria, so they got a little buzzed, and the girls only had a few drinks. They all eventually paid for the service and left the building.

    Jerald was tipsy so Applejack assisted him when he lost balance "I'll s-see you later you guys, I'm getting to s-sleepy" he end with a yawn.

    Xander laughed "go to bed you lightweight, I'll talk to you tomorrow if we see each other." He ended with patting Jerald on his back.

    Jerald stumbled off with Applejack after they said goodbye to everyone else.

    Austen did a sloppy handshake with Xander and said "I'll see you tomorrow duuuuude." He said, talking really slowly.

    Pinkie Pie giggled and said "I'm gonna help mister slow to bed!" She said with her usual tone, like as if she hadn't had a single drop of alcohol.

    Austen walked slowly with Pinkie Pie to their home.

    Justin chuckled "dude, I'll talk to you tomorrow, we're gonna have to arrange some plans for going to that club" he said with a chipper tone.

    Xander laughed "sure thing Justin." He said seeing him opening up. Xander turned to Fluttershy "I'll see you soon, Fluttershy, try to make sure Justin doesn't try to get a bear to eat him" he said jokingly

    Fluttershy laughed softly and said "I'll make sure of it Xander." She said before telling Twilight goodbye and leaving.

    Twilight smiled and then giggled "You boys are crazy." She finished with a laugh.

    Xander smiled "well, unfortunately that's not the craziest we can get" he finished with a laugh.

    Twilight shook her head and started to walk to the library.

    Xander laughed some more and followed her to the library.

    Twilight giggled and then said "you guys barely drank any here, I interested to see how you boys behave in the club!" She said imagining it.

    Xander smiled "we should be fine, unless if a guy starts to insult us or make one of you girls feel awkward, then we might get a little... Violent." He finished putting emphasis on violent.

    Twilight shook her head and laughed.

    They eventually got back to the library and they looked at each other

    Xander stared at Twilight and said "Thank you, Twi. You've really helped me out here, I can't thank you enough for what you've done." He said in a thankful tone.

    Twilight smiled and said "it's the least I could do for a friend." She said before starting to walk up the stairs "good night, Xander" she said before disappearing upstairs.

    Xander smiled and started to walk upstairs too "good night, Twi." He then walked to his room and entered it, he then took off his clothes and folded them up so he could wear them again tomorrow. Xander laid down in his bed, got comfy and closed his eyes for a few minutes before falling asleep.

    'So, what now?' Was the last thing Xander thought.

 

 

 

 

 

    

Chapter 3- The weekend part 1

    Xander woke up in a field full dirt and pieces of rock everywhere. There was a loud noise followed by another, it sounds like as of buildings were being destroyed.

    A pony in a military looking uniform yelled at Xander "Get down, Xander!" He said while yanking Xander down, barely avoiding a piece of a building hitting Xander.

    The soldier pony checked Xander "sir! We need you! You're the only one that knows how to stop this monster!" He yelled over the explosions and screams of innocent ponies.

   Xander was confused 'Me? What in the fuck is he talking about?'

    The pony yelled again "sir! Your ring, it's glowing!"

    Xander looked to see the ring on his finger grow pure white, it was almost bright enough to temporarily blind you.

   There was a loud stomping sound emitted beside them, there was a huge creature coming towards them and it was about to step on the two until Xander put his hand up, the there wasn't anything happening.

    Nothing moved.

    Not even the time on the watch on Xanders wrist was moving.

    Xander stood up and looked around "why am I the only one able to move?" He then moved over to the creature and observed it.

    The creature was huge, it was black, and it had white glowing eyes, like as if it was a demonic entity.

    Xander spotted a white sword that looked the same color as his ring, he walked over to it and picked it up "I wonder how sharp it is" he then went back to the creature and sliced it with the sword. Xander was shocked to see the result, the sword essentially exploded the creatures foot and time unfroze.

    The demon flew back at least a few hundred feet due to the explosion launching it off of its feet.

    The pony got up and chanted "The Heroes back! The Heroes back!"

    Xander turned to face him and eventually saw everyone stand behind him chanting the phrase. He then turned to see Twilight standing there

    "Our Hero has returned." She said calmly

    Xander sat up quickly and gasped for air. He looked at the clock on the wall and saw it read eleven in the morning. "What the fuck?!?" He panicked. He then looked to his right and saw something sitting on his night stand. It was a ring, he slowly picked it up and observed it "good, it's nothing like... That ring." He said reffering to the ring in the dream "But it is odd to see it have no color" he sighed and put it into the nightstand drawer "oh well, it was just a dream, just like how it's just a ring." He said to himself to calm himself down. 'How did the ring get there?' He thought. Xander jumped when he heard a knock on the door and then it opened

    Twilight popped her head in and smiled "I just wanted to wake you up for breakfast" she said kindly.

    Xander exhaled "Yeah, I'm up, Twi" he then proceeded to get up and slip on his pjs, Rarity had made it for him a few days ago, it was the day after he got his first outfit from her, also the day all of his friends had liquor for the first time.

    Twilight walked back downstairs while Xander followed behind her.

    Xander was welcomed with the smell of eggs when he got near the kitchen. He walked into the kitchen and saw everything a plate made for him sitting on the table. Xander turned to Twilight and smiled "Thank you, Twilight. This was very kind of you." After he said that he gently rubbed her head before sitting down at the table.

    Twilight smiled at the gesture and sat down in front of him, watching as he ate his food.

    Xander picked up the fork in the table and started to graciously eat his food.

    Twilight smiled at him as he ate "So, do you remember what we're doing tonight?" She asked as if she was quizzing him.

    Xander rubbed his chin for a few seconds before saying "Nope, not a single clue" he said as he went back to eating his food.

    Twilight giggled and responded "me and the girls are going to take you guys to the club tonight, we want to try and get you all to make an impression on others while you're there." She explained.

    Xander looked at her for a few seconds before saying "so... Essentially make friends with everypony?" He asked while finishing his meal.

    Twilight smiled and shook her head yes "essentially, yeah" she then levitated Xanders plate into the sink.

    Xander watched her put it into the sink and got up from the table "Have you learned anything about human anatomy yet?" He asked changing topics.

    Twilight nodded and smiled at him "Yup! I've learned you and Jerald are actually in great shape! But Justin and Austen are considered unhealthy due to their bad habits." She shared with Xander.

    Xander nodded and laughed "yup, exactly. I have to start doing some exercise again soon, I'll probably get up early and run a few miles everyday." He informed her.

    Twilight smiled at him "I may go with you to observe your body movements and edurance." She stated to him.

    Xander shrugged and said "I don't care, you just have to keep up with me." He told her.

    Twilight giggled "Oh, silly little Xander, I'm pretty sure humans cardio isn't any better than an average ponies cardio." She said jokingly.

    Xander smirked and said "right, humans can last a very long time, especially during sexual intercourse." He said trying to embarrass Twilight.

    Twilight perked up and said "Stallions last at most a minute, from what I've read at least. How long does the average human male last?" She asked curiously.

    Xander rubbed his chin for a few seconds and then answered "well, I'm a virgin so I'm not sure, but I'm positive we can go for about an hour if we want." He explained.

    Twilights eyes widened and exclaimed "You better tell your friends not to tell mares that! They will jump your bones pronto!" She said jokingly.

    Xander continued trying to embarrass Twilight "Would you jump my bones?" He said with a smirk.

    Twilight deadpanned "No, you perve." She said with a smirk.

    Xander put his hands up in defense "Hey! I was just asking!" He joked.

    Twilight giggled and said "Curiosity killed the cat!" She said a common saying.

    Xander looked at the clock and saw it was about to turn twelve "well, what're we gonna do until we go to the club?" He asked curiously.

    Twilight smiled at that question "I was thinking I could teach you a few things about Equestria!" She said happily.

    Xander shrugged "meh, why not." He said carelessly.

    Twilight held her smile and pushed Xander onto the couch "okay! The first thing I will explain is what happened between the two Princesses!" She said with a chipper tone.

    Xander sat there without a reaction.

    Twilight got a plain look on her face "Are you already ignoring me?!?" She asked irritated.

    Xander flinched "no! I'm listening! I just tend to be quiet when I'm learning." He explained himself.

    Twilight sighed "okay, good. I don't want any disruptions anyways." She said before explaining an ear full of knowledge into Xanders ears. After she had done that, she told him the story about the elements of harmony and fighting nightmare moon.

    -A long ass time later-

    Xanders face was emotionless

    Twilight looked at him plainly "do you not have an opinion on this?" She exclaimed

    Xander snapped out of it and responded "not really, it just sounds like one girl was bitching so the other put her in her place. Then there was a asshole who essentially brain fucked everyone." He summed it up for her "am I right or am I right?" He said with a smirk.

    Twilight giggled and replied "You have pretty big balls to call a princess a bitch" she laughed a little bit more.

    Xanders eyes widened "Twilight! I didn't know you cussed" he replied in disbelief

    Twilight giggled some more and said "well, I see it as proper grammar, I just don't use it often since ponies do get offended by it, but something about you makes me open up, you have a very welcoming atmosphere about you." She complimented.

    Xander chuckled "yeah, you can say whatever the hell you want, I honestly couldn't give a shit" he told her trying to let her know he has no problem with it.

    Twilight smiled kindly and tapped her hoof on the floor "yeah, even though you just got here, it feels like as if I've known you for a long time, I also feel like you're gonna do great things." She said with a kind smile.

    Xander looked at her with an odd expression "what do you mean by that?" he spoke with a raised eyebrow.

    Twilight smiled gently "Like I said, I feel open when I'm around you, you have a special atmosphere, like as if it were to be a safe zone." She explained.

    Xander smiled 'odd, no one has ever said that, it may be just her.' He sighed and spoke "You're pretty chill too, you're very kind, I feel like I can talk to you about anything when I'm around you." He said, trying to compliment her back.

    Twilight smiled "that's sweet of you to say, but it's true, you can talk to me about anything, I will never judge you." She said kindly.

    Xander exhaled and responded "well... I actually kind of need someon-pony to talk to." He said as he corrected himself.

    Twilight sat down beside him and clapped a hoof on his back "what is it?" She asked worryingly.

    Xander looked at her and spoke "My parents, I've never really talked to anyone about it, not even my friends, but that's simply because they never offered to, unlike you." He explained.

    Twilight nodded "I see... Please do tell me about them." She said referring to his parents.

    Xander sighed and began "they're dead, but the way they died just never seemed right, a car crash is a normal way to die but... My father, he raced in formula one, so he was experienced, and it wasn't like a two car collision, it was a car and a tree collision" he let out a frustrated sigh.

    Twilight rubbed his back and waited for him to continue.

    Xander nodded his head a few times before speaking again "The odd thing is... They couldn't find their bodies. They said they looked everywhere but never found them, it was like as if they had vanished." He finished.

    Twilight wrapped her head around it and finally spoke "okay, if they were to vanish, kind of like you did, then the real question is, where to?" She summarized it.

    Xander nodded "Exactly, and I'm just now getting suspicious." He said while looking at her.

    Twilight had a puzzled look "you have an idea?" She asked.

    Xander continued to speak "It's just now about to turn winter, but where I came from it just turned spring, so our time is different, and the year is 1506  here, so time is moving different here. My parents disappeared 5 years ago, and I can't imagine how many years ago it was here, a hundred, a thousand? So I want to ask Celestia the next time I see her, was there any other humans here besides us." He finished explaining.

    Twilight stared at him "you really thought hard about this, didn't you?" She asked with a smile.

    Xander smiled back and responded "yeah, but that's because it would make the most sense." He explained.

    Twilight nodded and spoke "Look, I know you want to know what happened, but how about we just enjoy ourselves, huh? We can worry about these situations later, okay?" She said cheerfully.

    Xander chuckled "I know, it's just nice talking about this with you, it actually lets me share a few things in my head." He said thankfully.

    Twilight smiled and replied "How about we get ready? We've literally been sitting on this couch making small talk and teaching each other a few things for hours now. We should get ready to round up our friends and get to the club to try and avoid the line when it first opens." She told Xander.

    Xander looked at the clock and realized 'wow, I never would've guessed it was four, I could've sworn it was one just an hour ago, does time move faster in Equestria? Nah, it's probably just me being weird again.' He thought to himself. "yeah, look at me, it's four and I'm still in pajamas!" He laughed at himself.

    Twilight giggled "well, small talk always makes time fly by, so you never truly know what time it is." She said with a smile.

    Xander nodded and stood up, shaking off the cramps in his legs "I suppose we better get ready like you said. It's best if we do it now because I'm sure you'll take some time getting ready." He stated.

    Twilight laughed and said "I do take my time while getting prettied up, but I don't really have any stallions I want to impress." She explained.

    Xander chuckled "Oh well, I'm going to get ready" he said while walking upstairs.

    Twilight smiled and said "hopefully they will behave theirselves while we're there" she said to herself quietly.

    Oh boy, were they in for a surprise.

 

 

 

    

Chapter 4- The weekend part 2

    "Well look who it is, the man that's been diagnosed with lazyassnitus" said Jerald while looking to see Xander and Twilight walk up beside him.

    Xander laughed and responded "How long did it take you to think of that one?" He said with a smirk.

    Jerald shrugged "I said it right on the spot, bitch" he said jokingly.

    Xander shook his head "You've always had an odd sense of humor, Jerald" he said with a chuckle.

    Jerald looked past Xander to see all of the others walking in a big group "Damn, they're all walking like mini Billy bad asses." He said while they walked up.

    Austen threw up a peace sign and said "wassup bro." With a stoner voice he then nudged Pinkie.

    Pinkie giggled and said "'suh dude!" She then giggled uncontrollably.

    Xander laughed "Austen, you're a bad influence on her!" He said jokingly.

    Justin then bumped in "yeah, he's always been the trouble type." He said with a smirk.

    Jerald turned to Justin and asked "where the hell have you been? I figured you'd be out and about since games are nonexistent here." He said with crossed arms.

    Justin perked up and replied "Oh! I've been taking care of my new pet, Henry." He said with a smile.

    Jerald raised his eyebrow "Who the fuck is Henry?" He asked, confused.

    Justin explained "He's my pet bear, he's very friendly."

    Jeralds eyes grew wide "Oooooooh hell nah, I ain't ever coming over to visit your ballsy ass" he said with disbelief.

    Justin laughed at Jeralds comment.

    Fluttershy giggled and spoke "Henry is a well trained bear, he wouldn't hurt a fly." She said trying to comfort Jerald.

    Jerald laughed "I might see him one day." He said after shaking his head.

    They all turned towards the door of the club when they heard it open. A strong stallion walked out and said "We're open now, come on in!" He said welcoming.

    The girls walked in while the boys followed behind.

    Xander looked around to hear the thumping music, it was a bunch of remixes mainly. Xander looked behind him to see the rest of the crowd walk in "huh, they weren't kidding when they said it'd be busy." He said scratching his head.

    Jerald ran over and tapped on Xanders shoulder "Dude! Come on help me get some drinks for the others." He said pointing from the table the others sat down at and over to the bar.

    Xander nodded and followed Jerald to the bar. Jerald ordered a bunch of odd sounding drinks, to which Xander laughed at.

    Jerald turned to Xander and asked "what do you want?" Waiting on his reply.

    Xander answered "I'll take a glass of whiskey." He said

    Jerald shrugged and spoke his order.

    The bartender had made the drinks, he didn't really say much to the two humans, but they probably figured he already had a few before they opened.

    Jerald gave the bartender some bits before picking up some of the drinks.

    Xander carried the rest of the drinks to the table. He looked to see all of them laughing, more than likely to one of Austens joke.

    Twilight shouted over the music to Xander "I never knew you were a gear head!" She said while giggling.

    Xander raises his eyebrow and spoke "Yeah! I fixed cars for a living! I even owned a speed demon!" He shouted over the music.

    Twilight raised an eyebrow "I don't know what a car is! But Austen told me you could fix any form of engine!" She finished with a giggle.

    Xander had a confused look on his face "Yeah, I can! But what's so funny?" He asked curiously.

    Rainbow blurted out "We thought you were an egghead! But Austen told us you explained some of it to him and he learned about power strokes in cylinders!" She then laughed hysterically.

    Xander was still was confused.

    Jerald whispered in his ear "they think it's really dirty, apparently dirty jokes are really funny here." He explained.

    Xander nodded his head "gotcha!" He then focused on the girls again "Yeah! I'm an expert at lubbing a few things here and there!" He joked.

    It was true what Jerald said, they all started laughing insanely.

    Xander shook his head and smiled "there's an engine in my world called cummins!" He still joked.

    They all continued laughing.

    Xander then sat down and picked up his glass before taking a sip. The whiskey made a good burning sensation going down his throat. Xander smiled and sat back "I have a feeling we'll all be leaving here drunk!" He said to Twilight.

    Twilight giggled "That's what usually happens!" She said before taking a swig of her drink. Twilight turned back to Xander "me and the girls are about to go and dance!" She said before being dragged to the dance floor by the others.

    Xander looked to see Austen and Jerald joining them, but Justin was at the bar getting another drink. Xander sat at the table alone, but he didn't mind since he got to watch them have fun.

    They were all laughing while dancing, they were having fun, they all followed the beat of the music, but some individuals watched the humans with the girls and saw they acted just like ponies, which would bring a smile to their lips, but not all ponies are understanding, especially when they feel like the humans are there to take over. Hopefully the bad ones will just mind their business.

    Jerald danced with Applejack and laughed when she would do a funny dancing pose, he eventually started to copy her on her poses when the music would hit a certain note.

    Austen and Pinkie seemed to be having the times of their lives, like as if the two were best friends now.

    Justin had downed another drink but went to dance with Fluttershy, they did a little innocent dance, it was funny to see when you would be watching.

    Twilight just danced with the beat, she didn't care about looking stupid, all she cared about was having fun.

    Rainbow and Rarity would mock each other on their dancing skills, but they had fun doing it.

    Xander sat at the table, watching, observing every move, especially with Twilight since she was alone, he felt like as if he needed to protect her, as if it were to be his life mission.

    Twilight had caught a few of the stallions eyes and they seemed to be moving in, eventually one of them danced with Twilight, occasionally brushing up against her, but she wore a worried look on her face, and she eventually turned to look for any of her friends in sight but they were all distracted. Twilight just kept dancing hopefully to just have the stallion get bored and walk off.

    The stallion had a grey coat and black hair, he looked pretty athletic and had a cutiemark with clouds and a lightning strike going through the the middle, he seemed to stick by Twilights side while dancing, not getting the hint.

    Xander watched, but not really thinking anything of it, if she needed him then she would get his attention.

    The stallion eventually started to bump into Twilights flank and smirked at the gesture.

   Twilights eyes got wide and she turned to look straight into Xanders eyes, seeing him looking she mouthed 'help'

    Xander saw that clearly, he nodded and sighed while getting up from the seat, and started to walk over to her.

    Twilight sighed in relief to see Xander walking towards her, and noticing not a very violent stance since he still had his drink in his hand.

      The stallion wasn't aware of the human standing behind him until he turned around to see a humans chest in front of him. The stallion wasn't amused and spoke "can I help you?" He asked irritated.

    Xander guessed the guy was around the same age as himself "Well, I noticed you were harrassing her, so I wanted to ask you to stop." He said with a nice tone.

    The stallion put on a pissed expression "If you don't get out of here then I'll knock all of your teeth out, pal!" He threatened.

    Twilight laid her ears back when hearing that, she wasn't sure how Xander would react to that.

    Xander stared at him and smiled "I'm asking nicely, you may want to fight me, but guess what? I'm actually a working man, this is the first time I've stepped a foot into a club, but yet I'm being threatened, you fighting me would not be a smart move to make, genius." He said with a calm tone.

     The stallion stood up on his hind legs and punched Xander in the face.

    Twilights eyes went wide when she saw that and ran to get the others.

    Xander got hit and didn't even move, he wore a plain expression and gripped his drink harder.

     The stallion swung again but didn't meet contact with his target, he soon had a glass smashed into his face, sending pieces of glass into his skin, causing blood to flow down under his eye.

    Xander didn't hesitate and punched the stallion, sending him onto the floor. Xander immediately got on top of him and kept swinging, not sparing mercy, not caring, only thing he was doing was letting out negativity.

    Jerald arrived and pulled Xander off top of him.

    Xander got off and walked away, he eventually got to the door and left, going to do what usually calms him down, fixing things.

    The whole group saw what happened and stared at the sight of the stallion, his face was swollen and blood running out of his nose and under his eyes.

    Jerald shook his head and said "that's why you don't mess with him. He isn't afraid to do things like this." He said before running off to find Xander.

    The girls saw what a human can do, they saw they aren't weak, they saw they are smart at fighting, they saw what can happen if they mess up.

    Twilight stared and eventually ran off behind Jerald, she knew she could calm him down.

    Xander ran, he couldn't stop, he didn't know why but he had a feeling that something was about to happen to him, his whole life would change, in fact that the whole world will change. He eventually saw his destination, his car. The car was sitting there, looking as sad as can be. Xander walked up to it and rubbed his hand on it, like as if it were his pet and he was petting it.

    The car sat there with it messed up front end, but when it was touched, there was a spark in the battery.

    Xander saw his hand while rubbing it and saw something horrifying, the ring, it was glowing white and it spread the color over the car, it let off a motherly atmosphere, like as if it wanted to heal it, but a few seconds later he heard the sound of metal bending, he looked to see the front of the car straightening out, it reminded him of the movie, Christine, he took a few steps back before seeing the car repaired, in fact it was his vision he had for the car, it was a modern day, Eleanor.

    The car turned on by itself and roared to life, for sure you could here it from miles away in this quiet world.

    Xander stared at the car and then at the ring, he observed the ring and said "what the hell is this thing?" He asked in disbelief.

    The car sat there idling, almost menacingly, waiting for her master to take the wheel.  

    Xander slowly opened the door and got in, it was clean and fresh, it even had new car smell, he looked at the odometer and saw instead of seventy-five thousand miles it had zero. Xander put on his seat belt and put the car in reverse, turned around, put it in first, and then took off.

    Jerald and Twilght sat on the park bench

    Jerald threw up his arms and said "I looked everywhere! Where the hell would he go?" He wondered.

    Twilight shook her head "I don't have a clue, I guess all we can do is wait." She said with a sad tone.

    Jerald patted Twilight back and said "He'll come back, but just when is the question. If you don't mind me asking, what made him do that?" He asked curiously.

    Twilight sighed and said "that stallion was harassing me, so I got Xanders attention, and Xander tried talking to him but the stallion just flipped out, like as if Xander had insulted him, but he didn't." She explained.

    Jerald nodded "I would've probably done the same thing, shit, I would've knocked that fuckers teeth right out of his mouth."

   Twilight smiled "Well, I know he won't ever mess with me again, that's for sure." She giggled.

   Jerald nodded "yup, Xander taught his ass what's right and wrong." He finished with a smile.

   The two stood up when they heard ponies shouting and running into their houses, followed by a monstrous roar.

    Twilights eyes went wide and she panicked "what's that sound?!?" She asked shivering.

    Jerald sat still and said "No. Fucking. Way." He said as he saw the car the roll down the road, going towards the library.

    The car stopped in front of the library, opened up, and let its master leave.

    Xander exited the car and locked it, then he went inside of the library.

    Twilight and Jerald looked at each other for a second before running towards the library. As they neared the door they heard a few things falling over before they entered to see everything in place, but the noise continued upstairs.

    Jerald walked up the stairs carefully and walked down the hall to Xanders room, he then opened Xanders door to see him looking into the nightstand and cursing a few words under his breath.

   Xander looked for the ring, desperately trying to make since of how that ring got on his hand. Xander sighed before hearing Jerald approach him. "Jerald." He paused for a moment "I need to think. Please, just go, I'll come to the farm and help you guys out, but I just need to think." He said while sitting down on the bed.

    Jerald was shocked to hear that.

    Xander was usually a individual that's willing to talk about his problems

    'there must be something really wrong' Jerald thought to himself. Jerald thought for a few seconds before leaving. Jerald went down the stairs and spoke out to Twilight "He needs some time, I think some deep emotions have come out of him." He said before leaving in a hurry.

    Twilight wore a concerned look before sighing "so much for making good impressions...." She said before falling onto the couch 'they've been here for a week and there's been a fight, unexplainable things have happened, and now odd feelings are coming out.' She then thought for a few more seconds 'why do I get a heroic atmosphere from him?' She said referring to Xander. Twilight thought for a few more minutes before passing out from exhaustion.

 

 

 

  

Chapter 5- The Awakening

    Xander jerked awake with pain that felt like the bones in his body were breaking and forming back just to break again. Xander let some tears fall down his face before falling out of the bed with a loud thump, he then felt like as if someone had stabbed him with a knife in the stomach while they twisted it. He gritted his teeth with pain and let a few tears fall down along with the sweat dripping off of his pale face.

    "Do you want it to go away?" A familiar voice said.

    Xander looked up weakly and nodded before seeing his father.

    His father, Samuel, had black hair and tanned skin, and he was stronger than before, he looked about the size of Xander. "Then get up, son."

    Xander painfully and slowly stood up before trying to balance on his feet.

    "I'm not alive." He said coldly "I am real, but I'm not alive, so don't think daddy will be here to cope with your destroyed emotions" he said with venom.

    Xander breathed heavily while having a hand put pressure on his stomach.

    Samuel closed his eyes for a few seconds before reopening them "I'll explain later, but let's deal with that pain you have. I understand the feeling since it happened to me while I lived here." He paused before continuing "put on your ring" he said pointing at the nightstand that was glowing white.

    Xander slowly walked to the nightstand before opening and put the white ring on. He cried profusely, the same for the sweat.

    Samuel then pointed at the window "you need to get to the top of this tree, it will have a better chance of letting the stored up magic out into the atmosphere. If you don't get there in...." He looked at his watch "five minutes then you'll essentially vaporize from the magic." He said plainly.

   Xander gritted his teeth before pushing the nightstand in front of the window, he then climbed up on the nightstand and opened up the window.

    The town slept peacefully, the night sky was still black with a beautiful full moon out tonight.

    Xander climbed out and grabbed onto a tree branch, he climbed the tree, yelling with agony, surely ponies heard it. Xander breathed heavily and sat on a platform built onto the tree.

    The ring glowed brighter and made Xander close his eyes before jerking them back open when the pain went away.

    Time stopped, it even reversed a little before jerking back to present and everything exploded, the sun came up and then was replaced with the moon, the rotation between the two happened for a few minutes.

    All of Equestria was panicking, the princesses knew exactly what happened.

    A black entity in the shape of a human flashed with black in a alleyway, he looked around before taking the form of Xander, but just with red eyes irises, he then proceeded to walk out of the alleyway with a devilish grin, he was currently in Manehatten, his destination was ponyville.

    Xander fell onto the platform, knocked out cold.

    The moon came back up in the position it was before the explosion.

    The ponies of Equestria were panicking, except for six, plus some humans, they were busy trying to figure out what happened.

    The humans and elements of harmony bursted into the library, wanting some answers.

    Twilight breathed heavily while running through the library trying to find Xander. Twilight stopped after realizing he's not there. "Where is he?!?" She asked herself, his car was still out in front of the treehouse.

    Jerald asked "where's who?" He asked with a worried voice.

    Twilight jerked around "Xander!!!" She yelled.

    Jeralds eyes widened "woah, woah, woah, he's been as happy as can be! He worked with us on the farm for a few days, and he said absolutely nothing about going anywhere." He explained.

    Twilight panicked "I know! That's why I'm worried!" she then jerked up.

    They all heard some moans of pain and a few thumps. They all looked at each other and ran upstairs to see Xander lying on the floor out cold.

    Jerald jerked to Twilight "I thought you said he wasn't here?" He said suspiciously.

    Twilight stared with a confused expression "he wasn't! He just got here somehow." She explained.

    They all saw his form, he looked fine, actually better than usual, he seemed to be stronger than the last time they saw him.

    Justin wore a worried look "I'm pretty sure he wasn't that strong before" he stated the obvious.

    Xander then woke up with a grunt "it's gone." He said to himself. Xander looked at his hand to see the ring gone "it's gone!" He said with surprise.

    Twilight sat down next to him "what's gone?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

    Xander jerked with surprise to her voice "U-umm... N-nothing, don't worry about it" he lied.

    Twilight sighed "okay, I'm not sure if you're aware or not, but something crazy is happening, and I'm sure everypony in Equestria is freaking out, even the princesses." She explained.

    Xander stared at her with fake curiosity "why would the princesses be freaking out?" He went along with the lie.

    Twilight exhaled and explained "Magic has been released that was at least one-hundred times more powerful than theirs, and if that exist then it could destroy the whole planet!" She spoke with wide eyes "Which is why we may be getting a visit very soon!" She finished.

    Xander nodded and went to his closet "Well, I suppose I'll get dressed." He then took off his sleeping clothes and searched the closet.

    While he did so the others discussed what just happened.

    Pinkie spoke out "I was just sleeping and then I heard a boom louder than a sonic rainboom!" She exclaimed while making gestures with her hooves.

    Applejack nodded "same here, but when I saw the moon and sun rotating, I thought the end of the world had come." She gave her mind on it.

    Justin spoke "Twilight, what do you think it is?" He asked hoping for a answer.

    Twilight sighed "The only time this was told would be in The story of Samuel." She answered.

    Xander heard that and widened his eyes, acting like he had no clue what that meant.

    Twilight continued "In the legend it said he was the hero and he could kill any threat shown, lucky he died a few years before nightmare moon rose in the story, or else princess Luna wouldn't be alive right now, according to the story of course." She continued.

    Xander put on his dark grey shirt and blue jeans, along with his new black and white shoes he had specially made for him. Xander pretended not to hear anything.

    Justin scratched his head "So... According to the story, the only being that can kill a princess is a hero?" He asked.

    Twilight nodded "Exactly, so if this were to be a new hero then... Equestria will essentially have the most powerful thing ever to exist in a thousand or so years." She explained.

    Xander clapped his hands and wore a wide forced smile "Hey! How about we get ready to meet the princess? Maybe she will have some answers!" He changed topics.

    Twilight nodded "that sounds like a good idea! Thanks for reminding me." She smiled before leaving the room, while the others followed behind her.

    "You have a pretty smart friend." Samuel said, standing in the middle of the room.

     Xander tensed and responded "I'm guessing I'm the only one that can see you?" He asked.

     Samuel nodded "yup, also, that ring went inside of your body, just in case if you're wondering." He stated.

    Xanders eyes widened "Fuck." He said before asking the main question here "Am I the hero?" He asked plainly.

    Samuel smirked "Like father, like son." He essentially said yes.

    Xander hung his head "but how? I'm not strong, at least not in protecting." He said with confusion.

    Samuel shook his head "You'll see, I'm not gonna spoil it but let's just say you'll have a life changing event." He said before dissipating in thin air.

    Xander stood there, confused as hell "This is one big brain fuck. Apparently my father was here over a thousand years ago and now I'm a hero that also can speak to my father, the old hero." He shook his head, walked out, and headed to downstairs.

    The princess was already standing there with a confused expression "So none of you have had anything odd happen? No apparel with a white glow?" She asked with concern.

    All of the humans, except for Xander, shook their heads no.

    The princess looked at Xander "What about you?" She asked desperately.

    Xander spoke "Nope." He lied. 'How the hell did I do that? I'm a horrible liar.' He thought to himself.

    Celestia sighed and sat down "I guess I should explain." She sighed before continuing "Well... The heroes legend is real, and a new hero is here, which means there will be danger coming, he will only come if planet threatening dangers come. According to the last hero, we have one or two years to prepare, but we need to find the hero, and from my experience last time, if one of these humans start to train frequently, then one of you need to tell me, just so I can investigate." She explained.

    Twilight processed it all "so... One of these three are lying?" She asked.

    Celestia nodded "Yes, one of them have also had a visit from the previous hero." She said.

    The girls eyes went wide and stared at the humans with suspicion.

    Celestia thought for a few seconds and turned around "I suppose I should LEAVE!" She shouted the last word due to her shooting a powerful blast towards Twilight.

    Xanders pupils shrunk and put his hand out with panick.

    Time froze.

    Xander sighed and picked up the magical bolt only to throw it on the ground.

    Time unfroze and everything was fine.

    Celstia wore a shocked expression to see the bolt of magic sitting on the ground like a piece of glass "He froze time. The hero is here!" She said like a little school girl.

    Xander gulped and looked at Twilight to see here wear a shocked expression.

    Twilight whispered to herself "He is real, he just saved me." She said with shock.

    Celestia sighed before saying "Girls, watch these four like Hawks, report to me if you notice anything strange." She said before disappearing.

    They all just stared at the shattered magic bolt.

    Jerald shouted "THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!!" He referred to the bolt shattering.

    Twilight nodded "One of you are lying, I don't know why, but you are. I'm just shocked to know that I'm friends with the hero!" She said with a excited tone.

    Xander rubbed the back of his neck. He was the hero and he was lying because... He just felt like he needed to, but he also had a new mind set, a more Equestria based mind set, like for example, before he couldn't tell who's attractive and not attractive, but now he can.

    Twilight stood up and whispered into Xander's ear "Youre not the hero, are you?" She asked in a nice tone.

    Xander slowly turned his head to look at her "N-no! I'm not!" He lied.

    Twilight giggled "Okay! But if I find out if you're lying then I'll tell the princess!" She sounded like a little kid.

    Xander sighed 'what am I going to do?' He panicked in his head

    "Just keep going, if they find out, very little will happen, if they don't find out, nothing will happen" Samuel explained in Xanders head.

    Xander thought 'so if I tell them then nothing will happen?' He asked.

    Samuel sighed 'Yes, my wi- Celestia will get in your way by asking too many questions.' He explained.

    Xander nodded 'okay' he then ended the conversation.

    Twilight had everyone leave the house. Twilight sighed and spoke "Look, you seem very heroic, that's the only reason why I think it's you, but no matter what, you're my best friend." She said with a smile.

    Xander smiled "Don't worry, Twi, it won't hurt to not know." He said to comfort her.

    Twilight hugged him and then went upstairs to get more sleep.

    Xander smiled "looks like spending a month together upgraded me to best friend." He joked.

    The humans had been there for a few weeks, they spent a few days meeting up and hanging out, but they usually were busy with helping the girls out.

    Xander walked up the stairs and to his room, but before he laid down he had a burst of energy rush through him, making the desire for exercise strong. Xander stood back up and thought of a few exercises to do at home, he then got the idea of trying a few fighting skills.

    -Hours later-

    Twilight walked into Xanders room to see the window open and the human sitting on the bed, drenched with sweat.

    Xander looked at Twilight and spoke "Good morning, how did you sleep?" He asked.

    Twilight raised one of her eyebrows "Umm... I slept good but it's not the morning, it's one in the afternoon." She spoke with concern "Are you okay? You're sweating a lot." She asked.

    Xander smiled and responded "I was doing my morning workout, you know I exercise." He stated.

    Twilight nodded "Okay, but if I see you exercising more than usual then I'll have to report that to the princess." She explained.

    Xander slowly nodded "Okay, Twi." He then stood up and walked past her "I need to take a shower, I'll see you downstairs or something like that." He spoke while heading into the bathroom.

    Twilight sighed, went down the stairs, and picked up The book of Samuel. Twilight proceeded to open The book of Samuel before studying every detail of the sentences put down on the page.

    Xander took about thirty minutes with the shower and about another ten minutes fighting with his hair to make it spike up. Xander walked out of the bathroom with the same outfit on before he had started to exercise. Xander approached the steps and walked down them to see Twilight reading a very thick book. Xander peered over her shoulder to see a familiar name, Samuel.

    Twilight looked back at Xander "Are you sure you're okay? You look a little pale." She asked worryingly.

    Xander nodded after gulping with nervousness "Y-yeah, I'm fine. I just need to... Work on my car! Yeah, that's what I need to do!" He said before rushing out of the door.

    Twilight wore a confused look "He seems to be nervous about something, maybe he's actually the hero." She said to herself before continuing to study the book.

    Xanders true personality is about to reveal, he will show his true colors, he will be the new hero.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chapter 6- Who am I?

    Xander sat in a alley way breathing hard, and feeling sickness in his stomach. Xander ran a hand over his face to feel the facial stubble on his face.

    "This is how it is, you're body can't take the magic, that's one of the main reasons why humans aren't born with magic." Samuel said with no emotion.

    Xander jerked up and shouted "FUCK YOU!" He then reeled back from the pain shooting through him.

     Samuel shook his head "Ooooh, temper, temper." He said mockingly.

    Xander breathed heavily "Why would you do this to me? You're only son!?!" He asked desperately.

    Samuel chuckled "I'm not your father anymore. I was simply here to protect and serve." He then let out a sigh "Here, let me tell you a story. It's called, The making of a hero." He paused for a moment before putting on a smile "Once, there was a King and a Queen, they were getting sick and old, but they needed something to protect the world while they were absent." He chuckles before continuing "So, they brought the one being able to mentally and physically endure the worlds worst pain, without dying of course, to Equestria!" He moved his arms in the air to express emotion.

    Xander watched him with a hateful eyes.

    Samuel cleared his throat and continued his story "My ex wife was killed by a car, I had nothing to lose, I didn't care anymore, but apparently that's what made me so powerful in this land of peace. The king died and his wife took his left over magic and put it into a small little ring, but it was dull, it had death in it, so she put herself into it, and it sparked with life." He then looked at Xander with a smile before speaking again "She teleported her ring form onto the hand of the human that appeared in Equestria. She's the ring, it's not the hero that can destroy a world, it's the King and Queen, that just put their magic into a human, so furthermore I should tell you that they are inside of you, and that's why you feel this way. If you couldn't figure it out, The Queen is rebuilding you, she's making you into a destroyer with good intentions." He finished his tale.

     Xander exhaled and inhaled sharply "W-why so soon, I just got here." He forced out.

    Samuel chuckled "She saw what you did at the club, she knew right then you were the only human able to withstand this magic." He explained.

    Xander forced out "that doesn't a-answer my question" he then coughed up some blood.

    Samuel smiled "It's simple, she needed a place to stay." He then laughed. Samuel then wore a cold blooded expression that striked fear into Xanders soul "Son, you'll learn what it's like to die soon." He then got up and left, leaving Xander in the alleyway.

    Xanders vision got blurry and then focused back in "W-why me? What did he mean by that?" He spoke to himself. Xander looked down at his shirt and saw the faint glow of white underneath it "he wasn't joking, she really is rebuilding me." He said before getting a jolt of pain through his veins. Xander felt dizzy again before passing out.

    Everything was white, Xander was standing on white even.

    "Ahem." Samuel said to get Xanders attention.

    Xander turned around and hung his head with a sigh "Dude! You just left." He said before looking up.

    Samuel chuckled "I'll never leave, I'm your teacher." He stated.

    Xander gave him a stern look "But you haven't taught shit!" He said while crossing his arms.

   Samuel smiled wide before speaking "Oh, son. That's why we're here, I'm gonna go through some fighting techniques with you." He said while reaching into his pocket to pull out a knife.

    Xander stared at the weapon "What're you doing?" He said with a unamused expression.

    Samuel smiled "here, catch." He said before throwing the knife at Xander.

    Xander dodged the knife "What the hell, man?!?" He asked with a pissed off tone.

    Samuel shook his head "I told you to catch! Not dodge the damn thing!" He said before throwing another one.

    Xander reached out to grab it but grabbed the blade "There, I did it ha-" he stopped when he saw his pinkie fall off "Is that my pinkie?" He said before yelling with pain.

    Samuel shook his head "How'd that work out for you, dumbass." He said before snapping his finger, reversing time.

    Xander reached out to grab the knife but had the same result.

    Samuel got irritated "How about that neat trick that you got? Ya know, the one where you can slow down fucking time!" He said sarcastically. Samuel proceeded to snap his finger again.

    The knife flew at Xander very quickly, but Xander focused on it only to slow down a little bit before having the knifes handle smack him in the face.

    Samuel laughed before speaking "Here, try this, look at the knife and repeat the phrase I say, I want the knife to stop, I repeat, I want the knife to stop" he said before snapping his fingers.

    Xander saw the knife once again, flying fast towards him. Xander breathed slowly before saying the phrase in his head, 'I want the knife to stop' he then focused even more on it 'You better fucking stop.' The knife neared his face 'STOP!' He said before everything froze, he looked at the knife and grabbed it, only to throw it on the ground.

    Time unfroze and Samuel clapped his hands "Bravo! Bravo! I believe I want another performance my good sir!" He said before snapping his fingers again.

    The knife flew at Xanders face and he caught it the same way as before.

    They practiced that exercise until Samuel spoke. "Hey! Sorry to break the good news pal, but that little annoying fat bellied friend of yours is knocking on your doorstep. See you tonight, good luck, you're gonna need it." He said before slowly vanishing.

    "Xander? Xander?!?" Austen screamed with concern "Oh god, please don't be dead!!!" He said with a tear rolling down his face.

    Xander awoke with the same view from before he passed out, the alleyway of a apartment complex.

    Austen exhaled with relief "Thank god or Celestia! You're not dead! But you look like shit!" He said while rubbing the tear off of his face.

    Xander looked down at his shirt and saw the blood stain from early. "Yeah, I had a bad nose bleed" he said before standing up.

    Austen narrowed his eyes "Bullshit! No way you passed out in a alleyway from a damn nose bleed!" He called him out on his lie.

    Xander shook his head "It doesn't concern you." He spoke plainly.

    Austen crossed his arms with frustration "what're you hiding?!? Are you on drugs?" He tried to guess.

    Xander looked at him like he was stupid "No. Drugs are fucking stupid. Drugs don't even explain the blood." He said before taking his shirt off.

    Austen wore a confused look "what are you doing?" He asked with confusion.

     Xander looked at him without emotion "I don't want to walk around town with blood all over me" he then started to walk away.

    Austen ran up beside him "Dude! I'm your friend, you can tell me what's wrong!" He pestered him.

    Xander stopped "Look, I'm only protecting you, okay? Just go home." He said before walking again, while receiving a few glances from some mares.

    Austen ran up beside him again "Hell to the mothafuckin no, I'm not going home. I'm just gonna tell, Twilight" he then widened his eyes.

    Xander stopped and snapped towards him "If you say a single fucking word then I swear I will break your fucking neck!" He threatened before walking off again.

    Austen sat there with a open mouth and a few tears rolling down his face "Who is he?" He sobbed out before running off.

    Xander walked with a pissed off expression "I'm so fucking pissed!" He spoke to himself "First, I get the fucking unwanted hero placement, I have to then endure the fucking pain, and finally I have to lie and threaten the ones that matter most to me!" He rambled. Xander then paused "Why now? Why so soon? Why? Why? Why?" He repeated to himself. Xander took a few deep breaths, trying to stay calm.

    "You need to go to bed, make sure to lock your door when you get there." Said a motherly voice.

    Xander looked around him before realizing it was in his head. Xander thought for a few moments before deciding its best just to do what it said.

    The door of the library opened up, to be entered by a shirtless human that looked like he's seen better days.

    Xander felt weakness come upon him, making it very hard to climb the steps and lay down on the bed. Xander had locked the door like instructed. As soon as Xander relaxed he felt his leg twitch an insane amount. "What the-" Xander got cut off by the feeling of like as if his muscles tightened up, and straining against his skin. The pain was so bad that he could only curse a few times and take short breaths.

    Samuel sat in the chair in the corner of the room "Shh... You'll be fine, boy." He said calmy. "I know it hurts. It'll be over soon, but... There's gonna be worse than this, so you better keep pushing forward, because that's all you have now." He said emotionless.

    Xander took a few breaths before feeling the tension melt away, allowing him to relax his muscles on the bed. Xander sweated profusely and breathed heavily, catching his breath. Xander laid there quietly.

    Samuel spoke "It's over now." He stated.

    Xander blinked a few times before speaking "What's next?" He said plainly.

    Samuel raised an eyebrow "why do you want to know?" He asked curiously.

    Xander asked again "What's next?" He repeated.

    Samuel sighed and rolled his eyes "Death." He spoke without heart.

    Xander didn't respond.

    Samuel sat back in the chair calmly "Yeah, you'll be fine though. You're a champ, ya know?" He spoke with a smile.

    Xander stayed quiet.

    Samuel raised an eyebrow "Hmm... You okay?" He asked.

    Xander didn't speak.

    Samuel smiled "Good, we're making progress" he said before disappearing.

    Xander stayed there, thinking about the future and what it holds for him.

    -A few hours later-

    Twilight knocked on the door "Why is this door locked?" She said behind the door.

    Xander groaned "Twilight, I'm not feeling good, okay?" He responded.

    Twilight spoke again "Let me in, I can help you." She said nicely.

    Xander gritted his teeth "Please, just leave me alone." He said bluntly.

    Twilight didn't give up "I'm waiting" she said stubbornly.

    Xander then had a sudden rush of anger "Just get the fuck out of here!" He said in a hateful tone.

    Twilight responded "I just wanted to help yo-" she got cut off.

    Xander shouted "Help?!? I'm in pain! All I want to do is fucking sleep! I got sent to a new world, I've made a few friends, sure, that's nice and all but I've been cursed! I have to go through these fucking stages of pain that should kill a regular being!" He said without thinking.

    Twilight asked "What do you mean, "stages"" she spoke.

    Xander realized and came up with a lie "Humans go through stages of pain when they're under stress." He lied without a heart.

    Twilight stood there for a few more seconds before walking away.

    Xander sighed and laid his head down, feeling guilty about the harshness "Who am I?" He asked outloud.

    "The hero." Said Samuel, sitting on the chair again.

    Xander sighed before speaking "I hate you." He said plainly.

    Samuel threw up his arms "What'd I do?" He asked innocently.

    Xander plainly looked at him "You ruined my life." He said with no heart in his voice.

    Samuel dead panned "how? All I've been doing is trying to help you." He said with a frown.

    Xander gritted his teeth "Help? Dude, did you see what just happened? I just chewed out my best friend because she tried to help me out." He said with a pissed off expression.

    Samuel just stared for a few seconds "I'm leaving. You may want to prepare for what's about to happen." He said before disappearing.

    Xander sighed and got up "Always running away, that little shit." He opened the door and heard voices downstairs. Xander got close to the staircase before listening in.

    Twilight's voice spoke "He hasn't been around a lot lately and when he is he seems to be aggravated. I saw him come in without a shirt on today! I didn't talk to him because I wasn't sure what was gonna happen. Earlier I tried to talk to him but he just flipped out, he said he was sick." She said before sighing.

    Austen's voice was heard "Yeah, he was umm..." He paused for a moment.

    Jerald's voice came out "He what? You can tell us, bud." He said calmly.

    Austen spoke again "I found him in a alleyway, passed out. His shirt was covered in blood, but I didn't see any wounds. I tried to make him budge... But he threatened to break my neck. He didn't say it in a figurative way either, he said it with pure hatred." He finished.

    The library went quiet.

    Xander heard footsteps.

    Jerald spoke "I'm going to speak to him, I won't allow this shit any longer." He started to climb the steps.

    Xander thought quickly and got a idea. Perhaps he should use his special ability. Xander closed his eyes and focused in, imagining the planet standing still. He opened his eyes and saw Jerald at the top of the staircase, frozen. He wiped his forehead of sweat and slid by him, he went down the steps and went into the kitchen, maybe they wouldn't check in there.

    Time unfroze amd everyone/pony continued the conversation.

    Jerald had come back down the stairs a few moments later "He's not in his room." He said with a neutral tone.

    Twilight wore a face of concern "He's not in there?!?" She panicked. She thought before searching the library before coming upon a Xander in the kitchen eating a bagel.

    Xander looked at her innocently "Sup." He said neutrally.

    Twilight sighed with relief and sat down at the kitchen table "Xander, we need to talk." She said, taking in a deep breath and regaining her composure.

    Jerald nodded before sitting down beside Twilight, the same with Austen.

    Xander rolled his eyes "Yeah, alrighty." He went along with it while taking a seat at the table.

    Twilight breathed calmly "Austen informed us on your aggressive behavior." She confronted him.

    Xander stared at her plainly "Yeah, I heard." He then stared at Austen with a raised eyebrow "You're lucky." He then turned to a finger pointing in his face.

    Jerald was shaking his finger "No! I will not tolerate you're aggressiveness." He said in a bossy fashion.

    Xander grabbed his finger and twisted it, putting it to the edge of breaking "You will apologize now. You know not to tell me what to do." He said with no emotion.

    Jerald tried pulling back but his finger only got closer to breaking it "Okay! I'm sorry!" He spoke in a hurt fashion.

    Xander let go and sat back "Continue." He said while facing Twilight.

    Twilight swallowed and continued "I'm gonna have to inform the princess on this behavior. You have been violent and you've even been coming home with no shirt or no pants, or even with a blood stain on your face. I'm concerned, Xander, please, tell me what's wrong so we can work with this change." She begged.

    Xander inhaled "Look, I appreciate the concern, I really do, but I've been busy, I have more important shit to worry about that doesn't concern a princess, I do not wish to speak with her, so me and her shall not be speaking." He said in a simple tone.

    Twilight wore a expression of disbelief "How can you just shrug a ruler off like that?!?" She asked with a shocked expression.

    Xander answered simply "Because I do not fear her. I barely know her, and I'm not a guy to have my nose up a individuals ass." He answered.

    Twilight just stared.

    Xander sighed "Well, I'm gonna head to bed now." He got up from the table.

    Twilight asked one last question "Who are you?" She asked.

Chapter 7- I am Xander

    Xander stood in a familiar white world. He was facing towards his father who held a dangerous weapon in his hand.

    Samuel spoke while waving the gun around "Yeah, I know they don't have guns here, but it's no doubt one of the best weapons to train with when it comes to time control." He explained.

    Xander wore a unamused expression "What does it feel like to be shot? Do you know?" He asked while following the gun with his eyes.

    Samuel looked at the gun for a second before shooting Xander in the shoulder "Yeah, I know. You know what it feels like too." He said while watching Xander fall on the ground.

    Xander rolled around on the ground, holding the wound tightly.

    Samuel smiled "You've gotten better. You haven't cried or screamed yet." He smiled before snapping his fingers to have time rewind.

    Xander was standing with no injuries again and stared at Samuel "Are you gonna teach me anything or are you just gonna stand there like an idiot." He crossed arms.

     Samuel smiled "Of course, let's get to the lesson." He then held the gun up "You are gonna have to do the same process as the knife lesson, except for the fact you're gonna have to activate your power quicker than a bullet." He pointed the gun at Xander "You will fail, but by the end of tonight you will have pretty much mastered time. Don't think this the end of the lessons, I still have to teach you combat, that Kung fu shit won't work here, you have to learn the hero fighting techniques." He finished before pulling the trigger on the gun.

    Xander tried to make it stop but he couldn't control it quick enough, but after he got hit with the bullet time reversed back.

    Samuel smiled "Again." He then pulled the trigger.

    Xander got time to slow down a little before having the same result.

    The two practiced this for a while before Xander held the bullet up in the air.

    Xander smiled with joy while holding the bullet "I caught it!" He exclaimed.

    Samuel smiled "Good. You're making progress. Now, let's do it again." He then fired another bullet to only have it be caught with Xander's free hand.

    Xander smiled "Okay, we need to keep on training, I need to master this."  He said preparing for the next bullet.

    Samuel nodded before repeating the process over and over again with him.

    Xander smiled after being successful with all of the bullets. He looked at Samuel and spoke "What now?" He asked.

    Samuel smiled before talking "Well, it's morning so you need to wake up, you have a big day ahead of you." He said before making Xander wake up.

    Xander rose slowly from the bed to see the clock on the wall that read '9:30 a.m' he sighed before getting up and heading to the bathroom to do usual morning duties. When he got back from his room he put on his favorite outfit, a dark gray shirt and blue jeans, alongside his black and white shoes. He stretched one last time and headed out of his room, and down the stairs to be welcomed by a certain white alicorn that sensed his presence as soon as his foot hit the bottom stair.

    Celestia snapped her neck and looked at him "We need to speak." She said with a stern look.

    Xander looked to see two guards standing beside her. He sighed and spoke "what about?" He asked, unamused.

    Celestia hardened her look even more "You know what. You're behavior is not normal, you are being violent, as far as I've been told." She spoke harshly "Or are you hiding something and as soon as you feel it's close to being compromised you put on a violent face?" She accused.

    Xander smiled lightly "Hey, it was nice talking, but fuck you, have a nice day." He said before opening the door to have it only slam shut.

    Celestia spoke harshly "If you do not speak then I will have my guards restrain you." She threatened.

    Xander closed his eyes, with his back turned to them. 'Dad, what do I do?' He asked in his head.

    Samuel responded 'Reveal your true self.' He said simply.

    Xander sighed and turned back to the princess "You want to talk? You want to threaten? You want to disrespect? I'll tell you everything, but you will not like the fact that you've met a individual that carries the power to fucking destroy you." He said with the same tone as Celestia.

    Twilight had been standing at the kitchen doorway, watching everything.

    Celestia wore a shocked expression "W-Walt... I-it's you?!?" She got closer to stare in awe "It is. It really is you!" She smiled wide "I can see it in your eyes! I see Sammy in there!" She spoke with excitement.

    Samuel spoke inside Xander's head 'Oh, god.' He said with a embarrassed tone.

    Celestia then regained her composure "Please, show me some proof of a hero!" She wore her smile.

    Xander stared at her "You have to give me a reason." He stated.

    Celestia shot at him with a powerful beam.

    Xander grabbed it, to them it looked like the fastest reflex on the planet.

    Celestia stared "Ah, I remember always doing that to, Sammy"

    Xander smirked "Yeah, well, you see... I'm still training, but please, all I ask is that you all keep this secret and let me train in peace." He explained.

    Celestia smiled "Of course! We need you to be the best fighter on the planet!" She then snapped to Twilight and the guards "Don't let anyone or anything know about him. We will tell them when he is done training." She commanded.

    They all nodded and stared at Xander.

    Twilight stared "So, you're the hero? Huh... That explains everything. Now I just want to see how you react to harmful situations." She said to him.

    Xander stared at her "You just did." He wore a flat expression.

   Twilight shook her head and spoke "No, I mean when involving others!" She stated.

    Xander smiled for a moment, he then then frowned immediately, he had a feeling of guilt fall upon him. He stared at her for a moment before putting a hand on Twilight's shoulder "I'm sorry." He said with a smile filled with kindness "I've been a real asshole to you lately, will you please forgive me?" He asked nicely.

    Twilight was taken by surprise to the sudden change of mood "I-I do forgive you!" She said before hugging him.

    Samuel commented 'Somepony has a crush on a human.' He laughed.

    Xander hugged her back. He responded back to Samuel 'What makes you say that?' He asked.

     Sample laughed 'she's not off of you yet. I know you have some interest in her. Shit, I'd tap that.' He laughed again.

    Xander blushed profusely 'DAD!' He then cut off the conversation.

    Twilight hopped off and looked at Xander "Why's your face so red? Are you okay?" She asked with a bit of concern.

    Xander shook his head and returned to normal "Y-yeah, I'm fine. Say, what events are your friends attending soon?" He asked, changing topics.

    Twilight smiled "Pinkie is hosting a dancing party, that's about all I can think of right now." She informed him.

    Xander smiled "Cool, who are you guys going with?" He asked curiously.

    Twilight continued her smile "I don't have anyone to dance with, that's fine though, but a little birdie told me that Applejack and Jerald hooked up recently." She giggled "And Justin and Fluttershy are going together as friends and I'm not sure what Austen and Pinkie are as far as relationships go to be honest." She informed him.

    Xander rubbed his neck "I'll go for the hell of it, but I'm not much of a dancer." He stated.

    Twilight giggled "Me and you can just hang out with each other there" she smiled at him before hearing her teacher interrupt.

    Celestia spoke "I will be keeping my eye on you, Xander, but for now I must leave, I have more important matters to attend to." She said before opening up the door "Have fun our dear hero and element of magic!" She said before walking out of the door.

    Xander shook his head "I will never get used to that." He commented.

    Twilight giggled "Our hero." She cooed.

    Xander smirked "Oh, little weakling, do not disrespect me! You should in fact praise me!" he said in a formal accent.

    Twilight laughed "Oh, hero, please be mine one day!" She said dramatically.

    Xander blushed "Oh, maybe one day" he winked.

    Twilight blushed and rubbed her neck "one day! Oh, hero, you make me blush! I don't think I can wait much longer!" She continued on.

    Xander laughed "Maybe we will be together soon, my beautiful, Twilight Sparkle!" He played along.

     Twilight stood up and placed her arms on his shoulders "Ooooh, I like the way you talk, hero" she continued.

    Xander smirked "Don't we all? It's hard not to love me." He wore his smirk.

    Twilight giggled "You couldn't be anymore right!" She said hopping down and heading for the stairs.

    Xander smiled "that was a pretty good performance, you really faked the romance really good!" he said to her.

    Twilight smiled wide and started to walk the stairs.

    Xander called out to her "it was fake, right?" He asked.

    Twilight giggled and didn't respond.

    Xander scratches his head in confusion "Well, of course it was! I was a dick to her after all, wait a minute... i haven't been a dick for to many days... In fact, we've grown to be best friends. It's probably nothing, she's probably just trying to mess with my head." He blushed while talking to himself.

    Xander sighed and headed upstairs and went into his room "Ah! There you are bed! I'm still tired from all of that damn training in my dreams! Even though it's still early in the day, a nap couldn't hurt." He then fell onto the bed and fell asleep immediately.

    Samuel clapped his hands "Bravo! Bravo! You've been here for about two months and you've already got a mare craving for you!" He said with enthusiasm.

    Xander raised his eyebrow "What do you mean?" He asked curiously.

    Samuel rolled his eyes "Well, you're beloved, Twilight, is in love with you, it's just oozing out of her when she's around you! I feel a little bit coming from you too when you two are together! Perhaps you could present me a grandson?" He smiled wide.

    Xander didn't respond to that. He stared at Samuel for a few seconds before saying "What are we training for now?" He asked.

    Samuel smiled "I told you! Combat training, this is the longest and final lesson!" He smiled wide.

    Xander sighed before speaking "let's get to it then." He said plainly.

    Samuel smiled and walked toward him. He stopped in front of him and held up a very defensive fighting stance. He smiled at Xander "Copy my stance" he ordered.

    Xander took a minute to adjust his body to the stance Samuel held "Okay, what now?" He asked.

    Samuel smiled "Okay, you can stop time and slow down time, when I throw my punch, use your quick reflex skill to slow down time only a small amount, when you do that, block my attack and throw your punch, but study your enemy, don't just go for their face, actually attack an area that looks vulnerable and weak, you may not knock them out, but you'll definitely improve your chances of winning the battle." He explained.

    Xander nodded and prepared for the hit.

    Samuel threw a powerful punch and was slowed down by time.

    Xander took the time to look over Samuel and spotted his upper rib cage being vulnerable and weak. He threw a fast and powerful punch to his ribs.

   Samuel got hit extremely hard and came off of his feet for a second before gasping for air. He breathed out "Oh my god, you hit hard for a fucking newbie." He said before gasping for air.

    Xander smirked and shrugged "I guess that MMA shit won't work here." He smiled while watching Samuel get up.

    Sammie threw a punch and missed his target before getting slammed onto the ground. He was surprised to see the quick learner stand above his teacher.

    Xander smiled and held out his hand and picked up his teacher. He wore his smile and spoke "MMA and time can really work well together, but I kinda created a few of my own moves so I can trick my opponents." He smiled at Samuel with pride.

    Samuel smiled before jerking Xander's feet out from underneath him and twisted his legs in a painful fashion. He looked at Xander with a stern look "You're good at fighting, you may be just right for the fighting skill but I don't want you to be fine, I want you to be fucking perfect." he stated, before letting Xander go.

    Xander sat and held his legs for a moment before nodding "I understand, what will you teach me first?" He asked.

    Samuel smiled before speaking "I will teach you the double flying roundhouse and the single true roundhouse." He said before picking up Xander.

    Xander smiled and nodded while putting on his fighting stance "Well, let's get to it." He said impatiently.

    Samuel smiled before dropping it and speaking "Look... I just remembered that... You're gonna die soon, you will go through the worst pain you've ever felt... I've been wearing this hard ass mask but... I love you, son, when I first saw you again I didn't think much of it, but I realized why I loved you being my baby boy, you've grown up to be just like me. I feel like you will accomplish greater things than me, but... I really wish you didn't have to go through these things. I wish I could just replace you and take the suffering away" he looked down and teared up "I love you, I always will, and if it ever comes down to it then I will sacrifice my soul for your safety, if I have to protect you in physical terms then I will essentially go to hell." He shedded a tear and continued "When you die... You'll be dead for a few days. You will be reborn and you'll be even stronger than some of the strongest stallions to ever live. I picked up a buildings support beam after it had crushed a stallions leg. I feel like you will be the strongest hero to ever live...." He wiped a tear and lifted his head "I used to be able to run as fast as a cheetah, how do I know this? I killed one by chasing it down, I feel like you will be able to move even faster. You will leave a great story behind, I feel it." He then walked up to Xander and hugged him "Please... Don't ever make me have to die." He said while squeezing Xander.

    Xander was shocked to see this side of him come out. He hugged him back and told his father "I will, Dad, I will." He said before holding his head into his shoulder "I will be reborn and be even stronger than before." He looked his father into his eyes "If you ever feel like I'm about to be seriously harmed, then don't worry about it, I'll probably have a plan." He gave his father a pat on his back before letting him go.

    Samuel wiped his tears and spoke "I'll trust you son." He said before looking into his eyes "You need to wake up. You should really spend some time with that Twilight mare, I'm being serious when I say you two are good for each other." He didn't let Xander respond by ending the dream.

    Xander snapped awake and looked at the time that read '3:00 P.M' "Damn, I slept late." He got up amid walked out of his room, he heard voices downstairs. Xander walked down the stairs before seeing the girls and the guys. He remembered his attitude from the night before and sighed 'I have to apologize. I remember reading that a heroes apology is a pretty big fucking deal.' He shook his head and approached the group.

    Twilight looked at Xander and smiled "Oh! There he is! The man of importance!" She said before winking at him.

    Xander rubbed his neck, worried about Twilight letting the truth slip out about him being a hero "Yeah...." He looked at her and then to his friends that suffered his aggressiveness "Hey... Austen, Jerald, and Twilght, could I speak to you guys in the kitchen for a moment?" He said while skipping introductions.

    The three of them looked at each other before going into the kitchen.

    Xander went into the kitchen and sat down at the table "I'm sorry." He said immediately.

    Twilight eyes almost popped out of her head when she heard that, she must've know about the heroes apology thing. She smiled and nodded "I accept your apology." She hugged him.

    Jerald looked at the ground for a moment before speaking "It's okay, but I'll put your ass in a trash can and push you down a hill if you ever do something like that ever again." He said before leaving the kitchen immediately.

    Austen beamed with joy "It's okay! As long as you come to the dance then I'll be as happy as can be!" He said before skipping out of the kitchen.

    Xander stood up and sighed "That was... Better than expected." He stated.

    Twilight smiled at him "I know it's hard for you to say that. I'm proud of you." She said before heading back into the main area.

    Samuel spoke in his head 'I'm proud of you too son.' He stated.

    Xander nodded 'Thanks, dad.' He smiled and went back into the library.

    The group gossiped about a sensitive topic.

    Justin spoke "I heard the princess dropped her search for the hero, I personally think she found him." He explained.

   Jerald nodded "Yeah, I heard about that. I think she found it as well." He agreed.

    Xander cringed when he heard Jerald call him 'it'.

    Twilight smiled "I feel like she just said that to calm down the ponies, I think she's still researching." She put out her opinion.

    Xander smiled at Twilight's good cover up.

    Twilight smiled back at Xander and winked "How about we get out and go somewhere to eat?" She recommended.

    The group nodded and got up. They all said a few things to each other before exiting the library.

    Xander walked beside Twilght, making simple small talk "It sure is nice out today, it would be perfect if there were to be some curvy roads to drive on." He stated.

    Twilight giggled and responded "You and your cars, I may not know a whole lot about them, but I'm definitely learning easy terms like a curvy road and such." She explained.

    Xander smiled for a few moments before getting a sudden rush of coldness over him. He looked at Twilght and spoke "Say... Does it feel cold right now?" He asked.

    Twilight looked at him with a concerned look "No... But you look really pale, are you okay?" She asked with concern.

    Xander blinked a few times before feeling his pulse. He waited a few moments. His heart wasn't beating, he didn't feel a single beat. As he figured out what was happening he suddenly fell and slowed his breathing. He saw Twilght standing over him with pure concern in her face. He started to see a bright white light, the same white as the training room. 'what's gonna happen to me?' Was his last thought

    The son of Samuel is currently dead.

 

 

 

 

 

    

Chapter 8- Saying Goodbye

    Xander sat in the usual white room, trying to connect the dots to as of what happened.

    "Your magic overdose stopped your heart." His teacher spoke.

    Xander looked up at him and stared blankly "I died?" He asked.

   Samuel nodded "Yup, I told you it would happen, did I not?" He stated.

    Xander wore a neutral expression "Well, you did say it would only be a few days, so it won't be that bad." He said, thinking positively.

    Samuel rubbed his neck "About that...." He frowned.

    Xander raised a eyebrow "Did you lie?" He asked.

    Samuel sighed and looked at Xander "You're gonna be away for a while, longer than a month." He said, answering his question.

    Xander looked down "We don't have that much more to train on." He said sadly.

    Samuel kept his frown "You're going to hell." He spat out.

    Xander blinked a few times before standing up "Why?" He said with a little bit of fear and anger.

    Samuel stepped back "Well... I can't exactly teach you how to build up tolerance to pain." He explained.

    Xander stepped closer "So, I'm gonna get tortured? I'm gonna have to deal with months of the worst pain?" He asked calmly.

     Samuel swallowed hard to hear his tone change instantly "U-uhh... Y-yeah, you're gonna be alive in about three or four months...." He trailed off.

    Xander stood still and stared blankly "When do I leave?" He asked.

    Samuel looked at his watch "In a few minutes...." He stared at Xander.

    Xander took a deep breath and got his composure together. He sat down and waited.

    Samuel rubbed his arm "At least you'll develop a tolerance to pain." He said, trying to cheer up Xander.

     Xander sighed and kept on waiting.

    Samuel frowned "I thought you feared nothing?" He asked.

    Xander looked up "I've been through my hell once. It was when we were younger" he paused for a few seconds before continuing "It was when you were a drunk. When you killed him, when you beat me, when you would tell me I'm nothing and that I should die." He said with a hint of rage in his eyes.

    Samuel sat there with his mouth open before saying "That was thousands of years ago though!" He replied.

    Xander looked up "Not for me, it was 10 years ago." He said with a bit more anger in his tone.

    Samuel frowned "This is your fuel... This is what's gonna fuel your rage magic." He stated.

     Xander looked at him "what are you talking about?" He asked.

    Samuel sighed "When a hero gets mad, he literally gets red irises and...." He paused for a second "He will murder his target. He will make sure the individual that made him mad dies, unless if the source of anger gets cut off." He stated.

     Xander shook his head "I can't believe I blocked my anger out for this long, I can't believe I said I love you!" He shouted "I hate you, I wish you were never my father, that's why I didn't care when you and mom died! You guys only told I'd be nothing! Now look at me, bitch! I'm the fucking fate of a planet!" He kept shouting before being thrown into a unknown room.

    A man laughed with a chilling voice "To bad he couldn't tell you he was sorry, but I don't care about that mushy gay shit. I love seeing you bleed and be driven to insanity!" He was never seen but he threw Xander into a fiery pit of suffering souls.

    After a few minutes you could hear the pain filled yells of Xander.

    -In Equestria-

    A preacher spoke "May his soul lay rested in paradise, may he leave his good memories with us" the preacher spoke at the funeral.

     Jerald stood in a formal black funeral suit "I can't believe he's gone, my best friend dead, by Celestia knows what, the hospital didn't even know how he died, Why? Why him? Why not some ungrateful ass wipe, why a man that had good intentions?" He asked.

     The other stood on the other side of the grave, watching Xander's coffin be lowered into it.

     Rainbow watched with sadness "I may have not hanged out with him that much, but I know he had a kind heart." He said while letting a tear fall.

     Rarity sobbed "He was so young! He never did anything wrong! He always loved to make people laugh!" She said while wiping tears with a piece of cloth.

     Pinkie pie and Austen hugged each other, crying out random words.

     Fluttershy hugged Justin, crying into his shoulder, she never pulled her face away.

     Justin stared with sadness, he still wasn't able to comprehend the fact that a good friend had just died.

     Applejack would occasionally look at the grave but she mainly focused in Jerald, she knew he was facing some Devils.

     Twilight stared while letting tears roll down her cheeks, she sniffles occasionally but she would mainly just stare, she wore a face of depression.

     The preacher finished up with closing the book and throwing a few pieces of gold into the hole. He then lowered his head and gave the cue for the stallions to start filling up the grave with dirt.

     Jerald saw the dirt fall into the hole, making him finally break. He started to let the tears roll down his face, he couldn't stop, he even kneeled down and sobbed constantly.

     Applejack had walked over and put a hoof on his back, letting him know she was there for him.

     Twilight saw the preacher give a few blessings before leaving, she couldn't get the image of him dying in her arms out of her face, it was just sudden, no symptoms, not anything, just instant death. She kept shaking her head while saying to herself quietly "I loved him. He made me so happy. He would always make me laugh even when I felt like death. He was always there for me when he needed me most." She stopped and swallowed before crying again.

     Jerald had gotten up and ran off to behind a tree to calm down, he focused on his breathing and calmed down.

     "Don't get to depressed, he'll be back." A unfamiliar voice said.

     Jerald looked up quickly, he was shocked to say who it was.

     A new human was standing there "What? Don't remember me?" He asked, before stepping out of the shadow, revealing an old face.

     Jerald was shocked "S-Samuel? X-Xander's dad?" He was flabbergasted.

     Samuel smiled "Yup, I'm dead, don't worry, but I need you to keep this a secret, but... I was also the old hero, the old hero from over a thousand years ago, I know it's confusing, but just know, the old hero was also Xander's father, and Xander will be back, but he's gonna be a lot stronger, and a hell of a lot less forgiving." He said before walking away.

     Jerald yelled after him "Wait!" He was to late, Samuel had already disappeared. Jerald rubbed his head in confusion "He'll be back?" He asked himself.

     Twilight had walked home during all of the events, she hasn't spoke a word since Xander died, it had been a few days since that day. She sighed as she walked into the library, as soon as she walked in she noticed a book sitting on her desk, she walked over and observed it, she read the title "The Story Of Xander" she wore a confused expression before opening it to a random page, and she read out the text written "After he had confronted his father, Samuel, about the past crimes he had committed, he was sucked in through a portal leading to hell, where he met the devil himself, the devil spoke a few words to Xander about pity and apologies. Xander felt the grip of the powerful under lord grip around him before being thrown into the fiery pits of hell, where he faced his worst fears, reliving the moment where his father murdered his little brother." She sat down "How did this get here? H-how?!?" She rubbed her head in frustration.

     "I put it there."

     Twilight jumped when she heard the unknown voice.

     "Calm down, it's just me, the old dead hero from a thousand years ago." Samuel spoke.

      Twilight looked in confusion "S-Samuel? I've heard old folk tales about you visiting individuals that played big parts in history but I've never heard about you visiting civilians?" She asked with confusion.

     Samuel smiled "You are a huge impact on history. Well, at least when Xander comes back you will." He spoke with his usual formal accent.

     Twilight raised an eyebrow "What?" She asked.

     Samuel smiled "Ah, yes, he'll be back, but not anytime soon, I do feel sorry for my son, but it's just something a true hero has to do. He is essentially being reborn, and when he is reborn, oh, all of the cruel ponies of the world are gonna pay for their crimes." He said with a smile.

     Twilight stared dumbfounded "Xander's your son?" She asked.

    Samuel smiled before nodding "Of course! Where do you think he got his awesomeness trait from?" He stated.

     Twilight rubbed her head.

     Samuel smiled "It's something to do with time difference between his home planet and here. Oh! You can thank me for his big dick trait, you're gonna like it later." He sad with a smirk.

     Twilight jerked her head up "What?!?" She asked with a blush.

     Samuel stopped "Oh! I'm spoiling the story aren't I? I apologize for that, but I just couldn't resist. Twilight, Xander's gonna be back, and you're gonna absolutely love him." He said before taking a seat.

     Twilight processed everything "What is the main danger of Equestria?" She asked.

    Samuel smiled "Maybe Xander's evil twin? Or maybe you, or maybe the part where on of his friends go evil from jealousy and is killed by him." Samuel spoiled.

    Twilight held her mouth open "How do you know this?" She asked.

     Samuel jumped up "Ah! Good question, I'm the author of the story of course!" He smiled with pride.

    Twilight shook her head "How long has Xander been in hell?" She kept questioning.

     Samuel looked at his watch "Well, in hells time... About 3 years, in our time, 3 days." He stated.

     Twilight gaped.

     Samuel smiled "Oh! It's time for me to go, I need to write some more!" He said before disappearing.

     Twilight held her head in confusion "He is definitely as interesting as pinkie." She said before picking up the book and reading it.

     -At Xander's grave-

     It was night time in Equestria, but Jerald wanted to say goodbye to Xander while he was still alone.

     "Look, I know I saw your dad, but I feel like that was all in my head. Xander, you were my best friend, and now you're dead." He paused. "You were like a brother to me, you were always loyal and kind to me, I'm still in shock that you're gone, I just can't believe it. I will always remember you, and now that you're gone... I'm scared, I knew you were the hero, I just know. Now that you're gone, Equestria is in great danger, and I honestly don't know what to think about that, I'm just gonna think like you in that situation, surely it'll get me somewhere." He stopped for a moment to keep his composure "If you're father was right, then I hope he wasn't lying, I hope you do come back with vengeance in the time of danger." He paused and finally said "Goodbye, old friend." He then walked away, never turning back.

     Jerald walked back to the farm with sadness surrounding him, he tried to push the thoughts of Xander out of his head, but hey always came back. He reached the door to his home before entering to be welcomed by the Apple family getting ready for bed.

     Applejack turned to Jerald "There you are! I was getting worried!" She said with her usual country accent.

     Jerald smiled "Yeah... I just needed to get out of the house." He said while rubbing his neck.

     Applejack stood up and hugged him "It's okay, I know loosing you're best friend is painful, but just try to go forward from here, it's what he would want you to do." She said while giving him a peck on the cheek.

Jerald smiled "Thank you" he said while rubbing her back with comfort "Xander will be missed, but I know he's somewhere better now." He said with a relaxed expression.

     -Back in hell-

     Xander hanged from a bundle of barb wire, tearing away at his flesh everytime he swung back and forth. He let the blood drip off of his body and mouth, he had been there for three years in hells time, he thought he wouldn't ever see the beautiful land of Equestria ever again, but he didn't care anymore, he had suffered the worst tortures of all time, but due to his endurance he had become one of Lucifers favorites, he sometimes got to sit in a chair for a hour or two every now and then, but he still didn't care. Xander just kept dangling from the sharp wires, thinking of nothing, he knew his father told him he'd get out one day, but he gave up hope on that idea.

     "I might just keep you forever, I like seeing you block out the pain, its gains my interest" the English accent spoke, which belonged to Lucifer.

     Xander drooled blood and stared at the devil "I don't think Samuel would allow you to do that." He spoke his first words in months in hells time.

     Lucifer shook his head "Yeah, he may get upset at that, I might as well just stick to the plan. I don't understand why he has such high hopes for you, he seriously thinks you'll be the most powerful hero of all time." He said with his devilish tone.

     Xander stared at him "How much longer?" He asked.

     Lucifer smiled "Hells time, 50 more years, Equestrian time... 4 months." He smirked with evil written on his face.

      Xander twitched, he then stared off into space, escaping the horrible information.

     Lucifer smirked and tightened up the barb wires surrounding him, causing Xander to stiffen up from pain.

     -Back in Equestria-

     Austen sat on a park bench, having dark thoughts in his head "He's dead. I can't do anything about him being dead, he was my friend, and now he's my very first dead friend, why did he die? Why? He never did anything to deserve this, all he did was live happily." He then had something click in his head "He was acting strange before he died... Was involved in something bad? Or was he involved in so,etching bigger than that? What in Equestria is so big to get him killed...." He thought for a few minutes before gasping "W-was he th-" he was cut off.

     "The hero? Yeah, he is." Said a bipedal figure wearing a dark hoodie.

      Austen stared at the individual "Who are you? I've never seen you around here before." He asked.

      The figure responded "Don't worry about that, worry about the fact that your friend isn't dead. He will be back, and he's gonna be back so powerful that he isn't even human. Hero means something different here, it's a very rare species that is created with the Queen and Kings magic, it's very serious, if somepony else found out he was the hero, they'd probably be written a check for over a million bits for their research." He stated.

      Austen stared at the figure "Thank you. You just took a lot of stress off of my chest." He spoke.

     The figure nodded "Go home, you're mare friend is waiting for you." He said before walking off.

      Austen stared "How in the world did he know we are going out?" He said before standing up. He sighed and rubbed his head before heading back to his home where pinkie was apparently waiting for him.

     After a quiet walk of arguing with himself, Austen entered Sugarcube corner and headed up to his and Pinkie's room, expecting questions of where he was. He opened the door to his room and was welcomed by Pinkie sitting on the bed, staring at him kindly, she had a different kind of atmosphere surrounding her, it wasn't joyful, it kinda felt romantic.

     Pinkie spoke "Today was a stressful day, and now it's coming to an end, everyday I like to end them on good terms." She spoke with sultry tone.

     Austen already knew what was going on, she had teased him about it, but he hadn't expected it be today. "Hmm, really? I like to end mine on good terms as well." He said, matching her nature.

     Pinkie pulled him to the bed and kissed him deeply "We might as well do as many secretive things as possible" she said, maintaining her lustful tone.

     Austen smiled and laid her onto the bed before kissing her with passion.

     The two of them definitely had a great night.

     -At Fluttershy's cottage-

     Justin sat on the couch, he's been planted there ever since they got back from the funeral, he just couldn't believe it, his friend died.

     Fluttershy sat down and rubbed his back "It's okay, I know you two were really good friends, it must be so hard for you." She said, comforting him with her kind gestures.

     Justin sighed "We've been friends ever since kindergarten, we grew up with each other, he was always there for me, even when I was a douche, I just wish I could've hung out with him more before he died." He said with a sad tone.

     Fluttershy nodded "It's okay, he will be missed, but we all know that he wants us to keep moving forward, he wants us to be happy." She proved a good point.

     Justin turned to her and smiled "You're right, he probably would've hit me for being such a slouch right now, I need to go to bed and live my life at its fullest tomorrow!" He said, gaining his composure.

     Fluttershy was shocked to see that he got happy that quickly, she honestly didn't expect it to work so easily.

      Justin looked at her with a slight blush "Thanks Flutters, I really just need somepony to talk to." He then hugged her gently.

     Fluttershy smiled and hugged him back a faint blush on her cheeks "It's no problem, you can share your thoughts with me anytime you need to." She said with kindness.

     Justin stood up and started heading for his room "Goodnight, Flutters! I've got a busy day tomorrow!" He said before entering his room.

     Fluttershy giggled "He's so cute." She said before retiring to her room.

    -At Twilights library-

     Twilight laid in her bed peacefully "He's coming back, I can't believe it, I'm apparently gonna be serving a part in the new book!" She said with excitement "I'm anxious for his return, I know it'll be a little while, but it's definitely worth the wait!" She then closed her eyes "I wonder if he will still be able to love? If he can then that'll be great, I'll be able to share my feelings for him." She sighed and drifted off to sleep.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    

Chapter 9- Forgotten

    It was a peaceful day in Equestria, there were no signs of depression or sadness looming around, in fact all of the ponies and humans looked as happy as can be. It had been around two months since the forgotten hero died, all of his friends were enjoying their lives, they lived everyday now like as if Xander never existed.

     Jerald sighed while he sat at the table "So you've gone and gotten yourself a colt friend, Twi?" He summarized her conversation up.

    Twilight smiled "Yup! His name is Flash Sentry, but just call him Flash." She gave his info out to her friends.

    Pinkie smiled wide "Oh, I remember the reaction you guys had when you all found out me and Austen hooked up!" She said, remembering all of their jaws falling open.

     Jerald coughed "Umm... It was mainly because you were a bit nervous about how you learned that a human can impreganate a mare with a colt or filly...." He rubbed his neck "You gave a bit way to many details." He finished.

    Austen smirked "yeah, well at least we can say we aren't virgins!" He said, poking fun at all of them.

     Jerald chuckled "I don't care about the sex, I care about the relationship itself." He explained, while wrapping his arm around Applejacks shoulder, pulling her closer to him.

     The group of friends all giggled at the couple, they could all tell that they loved each other.

     A stallion flew up to them and wore a kind grin "Hey, Twi! Sorry I'm late! They had me stay for little longer than expected." Said the stranger.

     Twilight smiled "It's okay, Flash. Just come and sit down! We all got here only a few moments earlier." She said to Flash Sentry.

     Jerald stared at Flash, he observed him very closely. Everythime he heard about Twilight's new coltfriend he would get the memory of Xander itching at the back of his head.

     "It's nice to finally meet you. My name's Jerald by the way." Jerald said, extending his hand to Flash.

     Flash shook his hand with pleasure "It's nice to meet you! It's so awesome to finally meet you guys!" He showed enthusiasm.

     The group giggled at the gesture. They all enjoyed their meal together, laughing often, they had the appearance of a perfect group of friends, they looked like they've never had a tragedy ever happen to them. Even after they finished their meal, the still sat there and joked around. They all accepted Flash very quickly, he seemed to fill in a missing hole in the group.

     After the whole group said their goodbyes they all headed back to their homes.

     Flash and Twilght headed back to the library to enjoy personal time together, they walked like a happy couple back to the library, a few ponies smiling at the love oozing out of them. After they got to the library, they sat down onto the couch and spoke to one another about what they should do on this fine day.

    Twilight giggled at the motions of kindness Flash showed "Maybe going to the lake would be a good idea, it would definetely get us used to the summer time mood!" She said with a giggle.

     Flash chuckled "You'll have to be on point, all of the mares might get jealous of you." He said with a wink.

     Twilight smirked "I think some stallions would get jealous as well." She matched up with him.

     Flash chuckled "I guess we will have to just look out for each other, huh?" He asked.

     Twilight giggled "Yup! It looks like it!" She smiled.

      A few hours passed before the two actually went to the beach, but when they did, a mysterious guardian watched them.

     Twilight laid down on a beach chair underneath a umberella, she had a book about ancient hero powers levitated in front of her. Her boyfriend went off to take a dip in the lake, trying to cool off.

     "Damn, how long has it been now?" Said the mysterious man.

     Twilight jerked up "Huh?" She looked to see who it was and was greeted by the mysterious Samuel. She sighed before speaking "What're you doing here? I don't need you starting any trouble." She said bluntly.

     Sample put up his hands "Woah, woah, woah, what's up with you? A man's just trying to find out the fucking date and instantly is accused of starting trouble! I feel insulted." He stated.

     Twilight shook her head "The last time I saw you, you told me the story of why Xander hates you. After that day, I quite frankly hate you too." She said before going back to her book.

     Samuel wore a aggravated expression "Oh, look who wants to talk. If you want to be an ass then I will too. You brought up Xander, now you're going to pay, Xander has been dead, in hell, suffering, and all I can hear him scream is either that he wants to be back home, or he wants to see you again!" He spoke viciously.

     Twilight jumped up "Is that true?!? Did he actually say that?!?" She asked pity in her voice.

     Samuel nodded "Hell yeah he did, but what he doesn't know is that his best friend went and got a replacement. He doesn't know that he's been forgotten as well." He spoke with crossed arms.

     Twilight acted like she just got hit "What?!? That's not true! We're talking about him right now! Anyways, it's not like I was in love with Xander like I am with Flash!" She said while glaring at Samuel.

     Samuel chuckled "You don't even visit his grave anymore! You even deny your emotions for him! You're letting go! Admit it!" He accused her.

     Twilight shouted "Shut up!!! You're wrong!!!" She tried to glare at Samuel, but she only found him to be gone.

    Flash had jogged up "Are you okay? I heard you shouting." He asked.

     Twilight ran a hoof over her face "I-I'm fine, I just need to think for a little bit." She started to rub her temples and look down at the ground.

    Flash sighed before running off towards the lake again.

     Twilight thought to herself 'Is he right? Have I let go of Xander? I have stopped visiting his grave, and I have stopped mourning over his death, and I haven't really focused on topics involving him. Has he been forgotten? All of the others seem to behave the same way as me, maybe Xander isn't relevant anymore, maybe he truly is dead now.' She rambled inside of her head, only to make her head start hurting. She sighed and laid back down "I shouldn't worry about it. Samuel's just trying to piss me off." She said before picking her book back up.

     -In Hell-

     Xander sat in a caged cell, doing pull ups on the bars that sealed the steel cage shut. He had quite the stamina now, considering the fact that he had been stuck in there for a few years in hells time. Xander was never a fan of tight spaces, but it at least gave him time to plan his future.

     Xander hadn't spoke a word in years, he didn't need to. He had now lost most of his emotions, except for a few, like anger, and a small amount of love, but other than that he was empty.

     Xander would think about his child hood when he would get exhausted, it always got him fired up, he couldn't wait to have a moment with Samuel again, he would show him how he truly felt about him, sure he wanted to be a father now, but now it's too late.

     Xander dropped down and ate his left over bread that he had, that's essentially all his diet was, bread. He chewed a small piece of it, trying to eat as little as possible, he needed to perfect his body tolerance to the lack of food and water.

    The Devil had been kind enough to give Xander some time alone in a cage to truly train for his future, the future that Xander didn't really didn't care about, Xander never gave it much thought but his passion was pretty much training now, it was one of few things that truly let him unlock the anger hidden deep inside of his mind.

     Samuel would visit Xander a few times a year, but he never got more than a spit in the face from Xander, he would usually leave hell in a hurt state, at least mentally.

     Xander swallowed his small piece of bread before hopping on the ground and doing the rock climber exercise, he would always stare off into space while exercising, he wasn't truly in hell most of the time, he was usually inside of his head, he always looks at the previous life he had, a life of denial, a life of just pure denial, he had always ignored his anger, he had always forgave, he used to always be too nice, he had never made bad actions have bad consequences, but now he's different, he will keep the good alive, and the bad be removed from this world.

     Xander was close to being set free, and he was gonna come back ready for anything to be thrown at him.

     -Back in Equestria-

     The Princesses were aware of the heroes death, and they were sad about it, but they came to the conclusion of that the future danger of Equestria was no longer, and that he wasn't needed anymore so nature took its course and got rid of him.

     Celestia was always busy with managing her subjects taxes and political bullshit like that, while Luna was always busy managing the dreams of all of the ponies of Equestria.

     Celestia sat at her desk with a stack of bullshit papers that she had to approve. "Yes, yes, no, yes, shit no, yeah, yup." She would speak aloud while reading through the papers.

     One of her guards, the one and only captain of the Royal Gaurd, sat at her doorway, waiting for a moment to inform her of some information.

     Celestia paused and took a sip of her coffee before turning around to the sight of Shining. She chocked a little at the surprise visit from the Captain. She swallowed her coffee and spoke "What brings you here?" She asked with a surprised tone.

     Shining sighed before speaking "I've come to inform you of some strange information Princess." He said with the usual plain Royal Gaurd tone.

     Celestia nodded and waved for him to continue on.

     Shining continued "There have been a few sightings of dark holes in the Everfree forest, some of our Gaurds were tramatized when looking into the holes, they claimed they were scarred with severe anger in their minds." He finished.

    Celestia sighed "It's the Everfree, usually stupid shit happens there, I mean honestly, what else did you expect when going there? I'd say it's just another stupid abomination that the forest pulled out of its ass." She stated bluntly, before turning back around to the papers.

    Shining the spoke again "There's one more thing, all of the guards said that" he paused "The hero will be back" he sat with no emotion.

     Celestia dropped her writing utensil, before turning around slowly "Investigate this immediately" she said plainly.

     Shining tensed up and left the room quickly.

     Celestia wore a expression of like as if she just shat bricks "I hope he comes back on our side, if not then we are bucked" she said before making a piece of cake appear to only eat it whole.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    

Chapter 10- The Return

    Xander groaned and looked at his surroundings, which were unfamiliar. He saw that the sky was visible but the clouds were under his feet, he also noticed a note laying on the cloud in front of him. Oddly enough, he was able to walk towards the note, and he picked it up to read it.

   "Congrats! You have passed your training, you are now the hero! Here is a little something for you!"

    Love, Samuel

    Xander felt a object attached to the back of the paper and tore it off to see it. He lifted a necklace with a heavenly white colored running human figure attached to it. Xander sighed and put the necklace in his pocket. He then started to walk forward before having the clouds underneath him disappear, making him start falling out of the sky.

    Then, he woke up.

    Xander sat up in panick only to bash his face against a metal ceiling. He looked around and it appeared he was in a metal box, he looked behind him, in a awkward way since he was laying down, to see a door of some sort. He then realized where he is, he's in one of those boxes that they keep dead bodies in. He slid towards the door to bash it open, but when he tried to push it open it didn't budge, he sighed pushed harder.

    Nothing.

    Xander then grunted and punched the door, leaving a dent in it, he then got a idea. He punched where he would imagine a lock be and heard a object break outside of the box and saw the door open. He pulled himself out and got a good look at his body.

    Xander had on blue jeans and that was it as far as clothing, but he noticed his body was more tan and a little bit more toned. He reached into his pocket and pulled out that necklace, it was still that pure white color. He sighed and walked with no problems, he headed towards the outside door they had in the morgue, he opened it and stepped out into Ponyville that was currently in summer season. He felt the cool air compared to hell, he put a smile on his face, he knew this day would come, but he was gone for way to long, but at least it wasn't to long in Equestria, he only knew this since Samuel told him.

    Xander walked away from the hospital and into the more populated part of town, he recieved a few looks from mares that were filled with confusion and attraction, but he didn't give a shit, he was home, that was all that mattered. Xander walked towards a familiar building, Sugar Cube Corner. He stopped outside of it and looked at it, he had never gotten to see it in summertime so he observed the happy looking building, it reminded him of Austen.

    Xander walked into Sugar Cube Corner and was met with a sweet smell, compared to hell this was diabetes. He then looked at the ponies inside and noticed all of them staring in surprise and fear. He expected that but by now he was used to those kinds of impressions.

    "Who are you?" Said a familiar voice

    Xander focused his attention on the source and saw a human that he was more than happy to see. "You know who I am." Xander replied with a neutral tone.

    Austen wore a stern look "I don't believe someone can escape death. Now tell me, who are you?" He said aggravated.

    Xander relplied with more bluntness "I'm whoever you want me to be, because I apparently can't be fucking Xander because he did the fucking impossible." He replied with a cold tone.

    Austen slowly started to shake "I-is it really you?" He slowly walked up to Xander "It is you, only you would reply with something like that." He said with a mixture of happiness and sorrow.

    Xander nodded slowly with no emotion "You may have missed me for a few months, but I missed this place for over sixty plus years, even though I'm still technically nineteen" he stated with a plain tone.

    Austen's body shook with anxiety "I can't comprehend this...." He then suddenly hugged Xander tightly.

    Xander stood there while he hugged him, he wasn't to sure what to do in this situation.

    Austen let go and wiped a tear from his face "Why do you only have pants on?" He asked, observing Xander "why are you tanner and stronger? I thought you were dead?" He asked.

    Xander sighed "The clothing I don't know, but my appearance is a trait of going through literally hell, you have to toughen up, you can't be a little bitch in there, you have to have bigger balls than Satan himself, you don't live, you die every few minutes in that hell hole" he explained with a slight chuckle "This weather is actually chilly to me." He then stared at Austen. He saw he was slimmed up a little and he was growing a five o' clock shadow.

    Austen stood there for a moment before pointing up stairs "Go and put on one of my shirts, the others are gonna be here soon, oh and grab a hat so they won't know who you are at first." He directed.

     Xander sighed and did as told. He put on a bright red hat and wore a black shirt that fit him well along side some bright red running shoes. He soon came back down stairs and sat down at the table Austen had set up for the arriving group of friends.

    Austen sat down next to him and handed him a red bandana to put on.

    Xander sighed and put it on, eliminating everything except for his eyes "Now, why do I need to hide myself again?" He asked with a little bit of irritation.

    Austen spoke "Well, when I first saw you I was overwhelmed, I started crying like a baby after you went upstairs, but it would be easier if you prepared them for it, at first we are just gonna act like you're a friend of mine but we will talk about rumors of you being back and then after they get a little used to it I'm gonna tell them that your name, my friend, is Xander." He sat back like he was genius.

    Xander sighed "That's smart, but I'm just worried about whoever is gonna sit next to me. I feel like they might flip the fuck out on me." He explained plainly.

    Austen shrugged "Oh well, you've been through hell once, I'm sure you can handle a regular pony." He then waved at the group walking in towards them, he then whispered to Xander "Be cool" he then told them all to sit down.

    Xander sat back and let the shadow of the hat cover his eyes. He felt eyeballs boring into the side of his skull. He looked to see that Twilight and some stallion dude sat beside him. Xander didn't care though, he just kept minding his own business.

     Austen spoke "Aye! It's about time you guys showed up, me and my new friend here were starting to get bored!" He said with excitment.

    They all giggled before Twilight asked the main question "Yeah, I noticed your new friend, who is he exactly? I didn't know there were any other humans here." She asked.

    Austen smiled "Oh, Bob's his name, and he's the last human here, but Bob is pretty chill, he's actually pretty smart too." Austen finished with a smile.

     Twilight smiles "Oh really? What makes you say that?" She asked with curiosity while staring at "Bob" with curiosity.

    Austen smiles "Oh, he knows all of the rumors around here, he even knows what's true and false!" He spoke with his usual chipper tone.

    Twilight smiles "Oh yeah? Give me an example" she asked innocently.

    Xander speaks neutrally "I know Xander's still alive." He says bluntly.

    They all went from smiles to plain expressions.

    Jerald spoke with irritation "What?!? You don't even know him! You shouldn't even speak of him!" He barked.

    Xander smirked under his bandana "He went to hell and served some time, I'd say he was there for about four months to you guys, but to him he's been there for over sixty years tops." He spoke with a slight hint humor in his voice.

    Twilight glared "Why would you lie about such an innocent soul? He would never go to hell. He's probably sleeping peacefully in heaven right now." She spoke with a slight hint of hope.

    Xander sighed "Unfortunately he didn't, but I mean, at least he was replaced by this blue haired guy, he seems pretty relaxed." He spoke with no emotion.

    Twilight snapped towards Xander "That's my coltfriend, not Xander's replacement!" She hissed.

    Xander smirked "There we go, looks like I hit a sensitive subject." He spoke with confidence.

    Twilight was taken aback "Is that what you wanted?!?" She asked in irritation.

     Xander smiled "No, I wanted confirmation on my theory, which I have received." He then put his arms behind his head "You can ask me any question about Xander and I can answer them better than any of you." He spoke with confidence.

    Twilight looked at him "What's his deepest secret? That's one me and him can only answer." She spoke with confidence.

    Xander sighed "What? You mean him being the hero? Or the one of him being kin to the old hero, Samuel, or is it about the fact that he caused that weird shit with the sun?" He spoke with a smirk.

    Twilight's jaw dropped "W-who are you?" She asked with worry.

    Xander smirked "Bob, well, at least according to Austen, but to you guys I'm known as someone else, well, other than the replacement douche, I mean like, no one else is like me." He said with humor.

    Twilight perked up when getting a theory, she stared at Xander for a few moments before ripping the bandana and hat off of Xander only cover her muzzle in surprise while she had tears forming in her eyes.

    Everyone else just stared in shock, except for Austen.

    Jerald stuttered "I-I... I fucking knew it! I knew you would come back!" He said before crying tears of joy.

    Twilight stared at Xander before hugging him tightly, which Xander returned awkwardly. She whispered "Samuel told me you would come back, but I never believed him, b-but I still had hope for you, I missed you Xander." She said before kissing him on the cheek to which Flash just stared in confusion.

    Xander smiled at her "Well, I'm back, and I'm back to stay, I promise you I won't put you through that again, consider that a heroes promise." He said while rubbbing her shoulder in comfort.

    Twilight smiled and nodded before shedding a few more tears of joy.

    Xander turned to Flash "you may not know me now, but by tomorrow you'll know exactly who I am, because I'm gonna give you so much shit it's not even funny." He said with humor.

    Flash shook his head "Good luck trying, but as long as Twilight likes you then I'll like you." He forced out.

    Xander saw Flash lie through his teeth, he knew Flash was a douche, at least according to the stories Samuel told him about how Flash acts at night time, he's quite the drunk according to Xander.

    Flash stared at Xander with a fake look of innocence.

     Xander stared back with a smirk before shaking his head. He looked at Jerald "It's nice to see you finally found love, you too Austen" he said as he noticed them both holding their mares close to them.

    Jerald and Austen laughed. Jerald responded first "Yeah, well, it's hard not to with this mare" he said staring down at Applejack.

    Xander cringed a little, he felt a weird feeling, it was probably just the feeling of when somethings so cheesy you cringe. He looked over at Justin, he observed at him, he could read his expression perfectly, his face was full of joy, even though he was trying to hold it back.

    Xander sighed before turning to Austen "My plan worked better." He spoke with a smirk on his face.

     Austen rolled his eyes "Whatever, not like I care or anything" he said before averting his attention back to his mare.

    Xander looked at everyone, they were all happy, they seemed to truly enjoy having him back, but he felt like a few things were going to be different.

    "What is it?" Twilight asked from beside him.

    Xander sighed "it's just weird to be back. I'm not exactly used to things being normal." He said before turning to her. "I'm not used to you guys being in relationships, I'm not used to a new face... I'm not used to being alive." He stated neutrally.

    Twilight smiled and pat his back with her hoof "It's okay Xander, you'll get used to it again soon. You'll get back to your old routine, like living at my home, helping your friends with daily activities, you remember don't you?" She finished with a friendly smile.

    Xander nodded slowly "Yeah, I'll just have to get used to it. I mean, at least I still have a home to go to." He said with a smile.

    Twilight smiled "There you go, that's the spirit!" She said before turning to the others.

    The group all talked excitedly for a little while longer before Austen spoke up.

    Austen spoke "Man! I didn't realize we've been talking for over an hour! Me and Pinkie need to get back to work!" He said before scooting out of the booth. He looked at Xander and gave him a thumbs up before leaving with Pinkie.

    Applejack spoke "Well, shoot, I didn't realize it was that long! Me and Jerald need to get back to the farm!" She said before hopping up and trotting off.

Jerald got up and looked at Xander "Well, come by the farm when you can, me and you have a few things to talk about" he said before leaving with Applejack.

    Fluttershy spoke next "My little Angel is probably pitching a fit right now! Me and Justin should go and take of him now." She said before leaving with Justin.

    Xander watched Justin leave and was slightly confused, Justin was usually the first to tell him goodbye but now he doesn't even tell him goodbye, it seemed suspicious.

    Rarity smiled "It's nice to have you back darling, you can come to see me anytime you need to, I'm sure you need a few new pieces of apparel. I'll see you till then!" She hopped up and left.

     Rainbow sighed "I'm probably just gonna go home and sleep, training today was SO exhausting, I'll catch you guys later." She said before leaving.

    Twilight turned to Xander "Well, let's go and get you settled back in!" She hopped up happily with Flash behind her.

    Xander sighed and got up, he soon followed them. He payed attention to Flash and saw a few things he already didn't like about him, he would occasionally let his eyes wander over her, he seemed to look at other mares a few times, and he wore a look of seduction when he would get an idea or something.

    Xander sighed and looked around at the town, not much had changed, it seemed like everything had just fine from winter to summer really quickly. He enjoyed the bright colors and the comfy air that the town had, this was like heaven to him.

    Twilight looked at Xander "I bet you're happy to be back, especially in summer time!" She said happily.

    Xander nodded and smiled "I sure am, everything seems happy, I could get used to this pretty easily." He stated.

    Twilight giggled before opening the door to the library "Here we are! Welcome home Xander." She said with a hint of excitement.

    Xander stepped inside and looked around, it all looked exactly the same as before, the same organized layout with the books, the same everything. He smiled and spoke "Good to see nothing's changed, it truly does feel like I'm home now." He said with a slight hint of happiness.

    Twilight smiled before walking towards the stairs "Follow me, I'll lead you up to your room." She said before walking up the steps.

    Xander did as told and followed her, which lead him to his room he previously lived in. He stepped inside looked around, nothing had been touched, everything was left exactly the same.

    Twilight smiled "I'm happy to have you back Xander, I'm happy to have my best friend back." He watched as she stood up and hugged him, he returned her hug happily and the two of them sat for a minute or two enjoying the embrace of each other.

    Twilight hopped down and sighed "I'm still in shock that you're back, it's just so hard to believe, to be honest I'll probably be crying like a foal later, tears of joy of course." She stated.

    Xander smiled "I'm here to stay this time, I'm not gonna leave again." He promised her again.

    Twilight nodded "You better not, I don't think I could ever go through that again." She said with humor and a slight hint of truth.

    Xander nodded and responded "Well, I'm back, and I'm happy to be, I'm lucky to have you as a friend Twi, especially to be my best friend." He honestly stated.

    Twilight giggled "I feel the same way." She sighed before speaking again "I'm gonna let you get settled in, I'm gonna go wrIte to the Princess about your return. Everything is still where you left it, even your bath supplies." She said turning to leave, but before doing so she stopped and spoke "I really am happy to have you back" she then closed the door and left.

    Xander smiled and walked over to his bed to sit down on it, he sighed and then remembered something, he reached into his pocket and pulled out the necklace that he received and saw it was no longer white, it was now a beautiful blue. Xander shrugged and put onto the nightstand, he didn't really feel like messing around with it.

    Xander laid down on the bed and almost immediately passed out from exhaustion, plus the bed was really comfy compared to shards of glass.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    

Chapter 11- Life

    "Psst! Wake up." A whisper said.

     Xander squinted his upon being awoken, he groaned and spoke "The fuck?" He then had his vision come back to reveal Twilight sitting next to his bed staring at him.

    Twilight smiled "Finally, it's about time you woke up." She said in quiet voice.

    Xander rubbed his eyes and stretched before giving her his full attention "Why'd you wake me up?" He asked curiously. It was still dark outside, so it's not just for food.

    Twilight sighed "I just, I can't sleep, and it's because of you being back. It just fills me with excitement to have you back." She spoke honestly.

    Xander raised one of his eyebrows "And what does this have to do with waking me up?" He asked curiously.

    Twilight smiled gently and spoke "I just can't stop thinking about it, and I figured if I talk to you about it then I'll have some ease on my mind." She answered his question.

    Xander nodded and patted the spot next to him "Here, you can sit next to me while we talk." He gave her a friendly smile.

     Twilight smiled back at him and climbed onto the bed, sitting down in the spot Xander picked out. She sighed before speaking "I know this may be a sensitive topic, but... What was Hell like?" She asked her first major question.

    Xander rubbed his neck, he was gonna be sarcastic and say 'Hell' but he decided against it, he didn't know how to explain it, it was a place of punishment. He sighed before speaking "It was brutal. This bed is like heaven to me, my bed in hell was broken glass in a steel cage. I saw ponies get the skin torn off of them like as if it was just a blanket. I found out what a Colombian neck tie is there, it was just... Well, Hell." He finished plainly.

    Twilight wore a concerned expression "That sounds awful! Why would they send you there?" She asked her next question.

    Xander looked at the wall ahead of him, no emotion present in his face. He spoke "To make me lose fear, to make me pay for my future sins, to make me stronger... To make me a hero." He said plainly. He turned to her and wore the same expression as before "Don't worry Twilight, you'll never have to see that place, you're to innocent." He put his hand behind her ear and rubbed it. "But me, I'll probably never see it again, but... In the future I'll proabably be going to the castle for recognition, for being the hero of course. And just to be honest with you, Celestia will probably send me to help you and your friends." He finished with a smile flashing across his face.

    Twilight wore a confused expression "How would you be able to help?" She asked curiously.

    Xander smiled wide "You'll see Twi, you'll see." He put his head back onto the pillow "one day, there will that one asshole that just pisses you off, and man oh man, believe me when I say, I will make him pay." He finishes with his smile still on his face.

    Twilight stares at him for a moment before speaking "Are you happy to be back? Are you truly happy to see me again?" She asks with worry in her voice.

    Xander opens his eyes and looks at her, he wore a face of guilt when he saw her look at him with like that. He sighs and grabs her, hugs her tightly against him. "Twilight, you are my best friend, I care about you, and me being back here with you and the others is with no doubt the best thing that's ever happened to me." He speaks honestly.

    Twilight was currently enjoying the feeling of Xander hugging her, she loved hearing him say that this was the best thing ever in his life, but she feels the same way. "Xander, is it okay if I sleep with you tonight?" She asked with a hopeful tone.

    Xander chuckles and responds "Sure thing Twi, sure thing." He let her go and watched her as she snuggled under the blankets and laid her head down onto the only pillow on the bed. He rested his head and spoke "Goodnight, Twilight."

    Twilight smiled and responded "Goodnight, Xander" she said before closing her eyes.

     Xander looked at her one last time before closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep.

    

    Xander was awoken by his bedroom door creaking open, he just pushed it off as just being Twilght exiting the room, only until he heard a male voice say "What the hell?". After hearing that Xander opened his eyes to see Flash standing in the doorway.

    "What is it? Oh, wait... It isn't what it looks like!" Twilight spoke the truth.

     "Oh, like I'm supposed to believe that? Damn, I knew you were a bitch, but I never realized you'd stoop that low!" Flash said with anger "Especially with a human that just got here!" He took a few steps forward and threw everything off of Xander's nightstand, including Xander's necklace and a unnoticed photo of a little boy. "Oh, what's this?" Flash said as he picked up the picture.

    "My little brother." Xander responded neutrally "Now I'd recommend you put that back and pick up the mess you just made." He told him calmly.

    Flash stared at him with anger before ripping apart the picture in anger. "How about you fuck off!" He shouted in fury, but ended shortly after Xander stood up.

    Xander stared at Flash neutrally before he reached down and picked up the picture that had been ripped in half. Xander stared at it for a good solid minute.

    Twilight stared at him with concern "X-Xander?" She spoke with worry "Are you okay?"

    Xander didn't respond, he gently set the picture down on the nightstand and walked past Flash towards the window, he then opened it.

    Flash stared at him "What the fuck is wrong with this guy?!? He's a fucking weirdo, he doesn't ev-" he got cut off by a hand snatching him by the mane. Flash screamed with anger and fear.

    Xander wore a plain expression while dragging Flash effortlessly across the room and towards the window. "I hope you're not afraid of heights." He said before using his free hand to pick him up by the tail "Well, I actually hope you are." He said before throwing Flash out of the second story window.

    Flash screamed as he fell towards the ground.

    Xander closed the window and turned to Twilght "Ya know, you shouldn't date assholes like that." He stated plainly.

    Twilight was still staring in shock "D-did you just, K-" she got cut short.

     Xander shook his head "Nah, probably just a few broken bones, nothing serious. Oh yeah, you're welcome by the way, I did the breaking up for you pretty much." He said with a smile.

    Twilight stared at him "How did you know I wanted to break up with him?" She asked suspiciously.

    Xander smiled "Samuel." He answered simply.

    Twilight wore a irritated expression "I hate him so much." She then walked over to the window and saw Flash was limping off to the hospital. "Xander, you do realize it's your second day back, right?" She asked.

     Xander smiled "Yup." He answered.

    Twilight stared at him "Are you not worried about anymore trouble?" She asked curiously.

    Xander shook his head "Nah, if he's an average Royal Guard then it's no biggy." He answered with a smile.

    Twilight shook her head "C'mon, let's take you to Sweet Apple Acres, I know Jerald wanted to talk to you and I need to share this morning with Applejack." She finished with a sigh.

    Xander smiled "Sure thing, just let me get dressed" he said as he took off his shirt and pajama bottoms.

    Twilight blushed as he did so "Y-you definitely look different." She spoke her thoughts.

    Xander pulled out a shirt and pants from the closet "In a good way or bad way?" He asked with a playful tone.

    Twilight stared at him "Uhh... I guess, good?" She answered unsure.

    Xander chuckled "Don't worry Twi, I know I'm the hottest human here." He continued to be playful.

    Twilight just stared at him as he finished getting dressed.

    Xander clapped his hands together and brought her out of staring. "Let's get going Sparklebutt." He said as he walked out of the bedroom door.

    Twilight just stared "Sparklebutt?" She then shook her head and followed.

    "Xander, I sometimes wonder if you know what and what not to ask." Twilight said with a unamused expression.

    Xander chuckled "What? I can't see if Jerald is serious about his relationship?" He wore a wide smile.

    Twilight shook her head "Asking if he's had sex with Applejack yet isn't wondering if he's serious about the relationship." She states plainly.

    Xander smiles before seeing two figures by the barn that they were getting closer to. "Well, I guess we're here." He states the obvious.

     Twilight nods "Yup." She then stopped and kept Xander from continuing on by using her magic to hold him back by his shirt.

    Xander stopped and looked at her with a confused expression.

    Twilight sighed before speaking "Look, you need to be serious when talking to Jerald, he seemed like he was in a pretty emotional state when he talked to you yesterday. Just... Be easy, okay? I know you need to get used to all of the emotions again, just try to be nice to him." She requested.

    Xander stared at her for a moment before nodding "I understand Twilight, I'll try to be as gentle as I can." He promises her.

    Twilight smiled and gestured for him to continue walking. When they neared the two unaware individuals, Twilght greeted them "Hey Applejack! Hey Jerald!" She received their attention.

     Applejack and Jerald turned to face them and waved at them. Applejack gave Twilight a hug and Xander a nod to which he returned. Jerald smiled at Xander and Twilight, he spoke "Wassup you guys, nice to see you two here!" He greeted kindly.

    Twilight smiled back at him and said "Well, I know you wanted to talk to Xander and I needed share my eventful morning with Aj." She explained.

    Applejack smiled at her "You can tell me all about it, sugar cube, I've got plenty of time to spare." She kindly offered her time.

    Twilight smiled and turned to Xander "You boys go and do what you have to, me and Applejack will be in the house." She said as they both walked off.

    Xander smiled at her and watched her walk off, but he then had his attention grabbed by Jerald. Jerald spoke with a slight country accent "You don't look bad for a dead man." He said playfully.

    Xander smiled and responded "You don't look bad for a redneck." He matched his comment.

    Jerald chuckled and spoke again "Yup, he's still in there. Not even death can take Xander away." He said before looking down with a sad expression.

    Jerald appeared to be deep in thought. He soon spoke while still looking at the ground "When you passed... I didn't know what to do, you're my mentor, ya know? When you died, I-I just got lost, I cried many nights for you, I cried because I lost my inspiration, I lost my friend that I could always count on. When I went to your funeral, I saw your dad, and he told me, personally, that you'd be back, and he wasn't lying, but that didn't change anything, that day... I lost my inspiration, just you were the one that always motivated me to do something. If I hadn't befriended you, I would've never met Aj, me meeting you was the best thing that had ever happened to me," Tears slid down his face while he continued "And every night that I go to bed, I just think about you, I'll see Aj, and I'll somehow always see a little bit of you, because I know that I'm here because of you." Jerald slowly looked up and smiled "And now that you're back, I'm excited, because not only do I have my friend back, I now also have my mentor back." He wore a smile as he finished.

    Xander just stared at him with a concern expression. He didn't realize how important he was to him, it was true, Xander did always point him in the right direction of things, it is true that he gave him advice. Xander smiled at Jerald "Remember Jerald, you're eyes look forward, not backwards. Don't dread on past events, look forward to seeing what comes next." He said as he gave Jerald a pat on the shoulder.

    Jerald looked at him with a happy expression "Words of wisdom, they never get old. How about we go inside? You never got to have a true Apple family meal." He said while turning around and heading towards the farmhouse.

    Xander smiled and shook his head, he never thought it would've been that easy to cheer up Jerald. As he walked behind behind Jerald, he looked around, taking in his surroundings.

    Since Xander had been gone it seemed that the barn had been remodeled, and there appeared to be more apples than usual this time around. He looked into the orchard filled with trees and could make out a treehouse of some sort.

    Jerald walked up the steps and turned around "Oh yeah, before we go inside, I just wanted to let you know exactly how respected you are around, especially after those days you worked with us for free. Everyone else will be extremely happy to see you. Me and Aj didn't tell them you died, we told them you went on extremely long vacation." He said before opening the door.

    Xander nodded his head and entered the house "Oh boy, this is gonna be great." He said with sarcasm.

    Applejack and Twilight turned to the two men walking in and smiled at them kindly.

    Twilight spoke up "You two are already done talking? That didn't take long at all." She looked at Xander with a curious expression.

    Xander rubbed the back of his neck "Uhh... Yeah, it just didn't take as long as expected." He stared at Twilight who was currently staring at him with a unamused expression.

    Jerald had gone over and gave Applejack a kiss, he then sat next to her with his arm around her shoulder.

    Xander stared at the two with a raised eyebrow, he wasn't exactly one hundred percent used to the idea of a pony and human relationship, but he just always ended the thought with a shrug and he would tell himself 'Whatever floats your boat'.

    Xander walked over to the chair next to Twilight and sat down. He suddenly heard a whisper in his ear "Were you nice like I asked you to be?" he heard Twilight say to him.

    Xander swallowed and whispered back "Y-yeah, o-of course" he responded nervously, due to the fact he could feel her staring into the side of his head. He soon felt Twilight rub his back calmly and heard her say "Thank you" before having her return to her position from before.

    Applejack grabbed Xander's attention "So I heard a little birdy tell me that you got rid of Twi's colt friend?" She asked him with her heavy country accent.

    Xander chuckled and responded "Well, I'd imagine I did, I'm sure he's regretting everything he did this morning after being thrown out of a window" he finished with a smile.

    Applejack giggled and turned to Twilight "See, you need to find a colt that's similar to Xander, he seems to be a fine example when it comes to colt friends, he's strong, caring, smart, nice, and loyal." She finished looking between Xander and Twilight.

    Twilight rubbed her neck before responding "Yeah, I guess you're right. I'm not to entirely sure why I dated Flash, he was always mean to me every time we saw each other." She said while looking at Xander. "But now that Xander's here, I'm sure I won't have any complications with any stallions." She said before hugging Xander like a big teddy bear.

    Xander sat there with a confused expression, Twilight hadn't been this touchy the last time he was here, but he just shrugged it off as just something he needs to get used to.

     Xander looked down at Twilight "Don't worry, Twi, I'm sure you'll have a great guy-er stallion one day. I'm sure when you go to the dances and parties that the town holds that some really nice stallion would love to accompany you." He finished with a smile.

    Twilight stared at him before getting a little closer "And what if a stallion didn't want to accompany, would I just go alone?" She was now leaning against his side.

    Xander shrugged "I don't know, I guess my big ugly self would go with you." He finished with a smile.

    Twilight smiled "I wouldn't mind that, anyways, I don't think you're ugly at all, I in fact agree with your statement you said while getting dressed." She said with a smirk.

    Xander smiled and looked down at her "Well, I appreciate it." He said before looking at Applejack and Jerald, who were completely oblivious to the compliment Twilight gave him. "Twilight said I'm the hottest human in Equestria." Xander stated the obvious.

    Applejack gave light chuckle while Jerald just stared at Xander.

     Jerald spoke up "That's not true! I'm the hottest human in Equestria!" He said while sticking out his chest and pointing at it with a thumb.

    Xander sighed "Whatever you Jerald, whatever you say." He said while leaning back into the chair.

    Jerald smiled and perked up after realizing something "Ah, shoot! I forgot to help Big Mac" he said while hopping up and running towards the door "Sorry you guys! That meal will have to wait till next time!" He shouted while running off.

    Xander wore a confused look "What was all of that all about? The last time I checked, Jerald didn't care if he was late to something or not." He said while scratching his head.

    Applejack giggled "Don't tell Jerald I told you this, but I think he's trying to earn Big Macs blessing." She finished with a blush.

    Xander stared at her with a confused expression "His blessing? A blessing for what?" He asked, still confused.

    Applejack giggled "Marriage of course! I only think that because Jerald was talkin in his sleep about it, he sounded really nervous about it too!" She finished with a flustered face "I'd happily agree to spend the rest of my life with that boy! He's always sweeter than apple pie to us, and he's really good with foals too, so he'd make a great father someday." She finished with a content sigh.

    Twilight and Xander looked back and forth at each other before having Twilight respond "That's great Aj! I hope it all goes well for you two! But me and Xander really need to get going, it seems like evening is coming quicker than we expected." She explained.

     Applejack smiled "Bye y'all, you're welcome her anytime!" She said as the two walked out of the door.

    

    Xander held the library door open for Twilight as she walked in "Thank you! Such a gentlecolt- eh, gentlemen." She said mocking Xander.

    Xander rolled his eyes "Yeah, well, it's not like it's a everyday thing to appear into a random world that requires you to change your vocabulary." He said while shutting the door and walking towards the couch to sit on it.

    Twilight giggled and smiled at him "Hold on one second, I'm gonna go and look at something first, then I'll come down and have a study session with you." She said while trotting towards the stairs.

    Xander gave her a peace sign as she walked up the stairs.

    Xander looked around and observed his surroundings, there were a lot of books, but that's to be expected in a library, he also noticed a desk that had spells written and books opened. He couldn't stop his curiosity from getting the best of him, so he got up and observed her studies.

    Xander looked at the title of the book, it's read 'Hero traits' he sighed at that and looked at another book that read 'The History Of Equestrian Heroes' he looked inside to see the first hero listed, it appeared to be a big muscular stallion that was carrying a log to what appeared to be a historic log cabin. Xander shut the book and moved onto the next, when he read the title it made his face go pale, the book read 'The story of Xander' he slowly rubbed the shaved beard hairs on his face, he then sat back down on the couch, he knew exactly what was happening, he knew that he was going down into history.

    Xander stared at the ground 'I-I don't know how well I'll do... Sure, I went to hell, sure I'm strong, sure I'm smart, but that doesn't mean I'm a hero, I shouldn't possess a power that can explode when it's pushed to the limit, the last time I exploded I... I overpowered the fucking Princess! The most powerful pony known to as of right now, I moved her sun effortlessly, I don't deserve that power!' He was cut short when he saw Twilght staring at him while levitating his necklace with her magic.

    Twilight stared at Xander with a unamused expression "Why didn't you tell me you had this?" She asked with a little bit of irritation in her voice.

    Xander just stared at it "It's just a necklace, it's nothing special." He said while moving his eyes to her.

    Twilight shook her head "No, it's not just a necklace." She sighed and took a seat beside him "This is the hero gem mentioned in the the previous hero books dating back to before Celestia was even born, this gem is considered a myth because nopony could find it." She finished with a sigh "This gem is special because it is attached to the heroes mental state, so if you're mad, it turns red, if you're happy, it turns green, if it turns blue then you feel love, you get what I'm saying?" She asked to clarify.

    Xander nodded "Yeah, I understand it's some kind of legendary necklace that a pony would pay millions for." He chuckled before turning to look at Twilight "Actually, could you do me a favor?" He asked her nicely.

    Twilight looked at him and smiled "Sure, what is that you request?" She asked curiously.

    Xander grabs the necklace out of the air and grabs a hold of Twilight's hoof, he then places the necklace on her hoof "Take care of this, I'll wear it at times when you wear your element, so just put it in the box or wherever you want." He said before looking into her eyes. He saw that her eyes started to get a little glassy.

    Twilight started to shed a tear before speaking "Y-you want me to look after this? This object is one of the most valuable objects in the world and you're trusting it in my hooves? And most of all, you want to wear while you're alongside me in a event concerning the elements of harmony?" She held the necklace to her chest before tackling Xander down on the couch with a tight hug. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! It means so much to me! Never in my wildest dreams did I expect a hero to trust me with his most valuable possession!" She then gave him a big kiss on his cheek "I'll protect this with my life!" She said before jumping off the couch and running up the stairs.

    Xander laid on the couch in a confused state, but he soon jumped up when he heard Twilight scream out "It turned black with a question mark on it! This is amazing!"

    Xander chuckled and smiled "That necklace seems to be really important to her, I just hope she doesn't go batshit crazy over it." He then sighed before laying back down on the couch. He rested his eyes and said "Damn, life is awesome." He said as he slowly fell asleep on the couch.

Chapter 12- Recognition

    A few weeks passed from Xander's return and he had gotten back into the roll of things, such as daily routines, catching up with friends.

    Xander sat next to Twilight on the couch as he read a book about the history of Equestria. He saw a odd looking creature on one of the pages and turned to Twilight "What's this thing?" He asked as he showed her the picture.

    Twilight looked at it and smiled "Oh! That's Discord, he's the God of chaos." She said before turning back to her book.

    Xander stared at the picture and thought to himself 'The God of chaos, eh? I wonder if me and him have anything in common.' He the shook his head 'Nah, probably not, if he's the God of chaos then he's probably an asshole all of the time, unlike me where I'm only a asshole sometimes.' He the smiled to himself before returning to reading the book.

    There was a knock at the door that disturbed the study session between Twilght and Xander. Twilight sighed and got up to answer the door, and when she did she wore a look of surprise "Princess? What brings you here?" She asked curiously.

    Princess Celestia stepped inside and smiled at her student "To give a proper greeting to our old friend here" she said as she looked at Xander. She gently smiled and walked towards him "It's nice to see you again, Xander. How has your return been?" She asked nicely.

    Xander stood up and bowed to the Princess "It has been very lovely, Princess." He the stood straight up "Do you bring anything new with you today?" He asked curiously.

    Celestia nodded before pulling something out "I have two new things in fact. I have brought you a badge and a official documented date of when your recognition is." She said as she gave Xander the badge, well more of a card then a badge, but that's what they called it.

    Xander observed the badge and saw it read 'Special Forces' he tilted his head in confusion before looking at Celestia "I'm apart of the Special Royal Forces?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

    Celestia smiled "Of course, in fact you are in the upper ranks, so that badge holds a lot of respect within it." She then flipped the badge onto the back for him "It also has the logo that stands for hero here in Equestria." She finished with a wide smile.

    Xander observed the logo, it had two swords crossing each other with shield behind them. He put it into his wallet before looking back at Celestia "Well, that's neat. What about the other thing you brought?" He asked curiously.

    Celestia pulled out a scroll and unrolled it before she began to read it out loud "This document has reached you because you have a scheduled date with the nobles. This service is to celebrate you becoming the newly founded hero. Ponies from all over Equestria will be ecstatic to see you be announced hero as they have been waiting for this day since the death of the last hero, Samuel, which was over a thousand years ago. Your announcement and celebration of becoming the new hero date is this upcoming Saturday at specifically twelve p.m. Since you are the main individual of the event, you get to have twelve free tickets to the event. We will see you then, Xander."

    Celestia rolled up the scroll before handing it to Xander "and now I will give you your tickets." She said as she pulled out twelve gold looking tickets with a purple outline that read 'VIP'. She levitated them to Xander and closed her bag. "All of the ponies in Equestria have been sent a guest copy of the scroll, but if they want to attend then they have to pay for admission." She stated.

    Xander stared at the tickets "This is a lot to take in all at once, I honestly didn't expect a huge event like this be held for me." He sat down on the couch as he rubbed his neck "I mean, I haven't even proven myself." He said while looking down.

    Celestia giggled "You really don't realize what you've done, do you?" She asked curiously.

    Xander looked up at her while shaking his head.

    Celestia giggled some more "You did the impossible, you escaped death, that's the only thing a hero can do, they are able to escape death at least once." She sighed before speaking up again "I want congratulate you on your new title. I can't wait to see the ponies reaction this Saturday. I will see you until then." She then gave Twilight a hug before leaving the library.

     Twilight sat down next to Xander before speaking "I understand what you're saying, it is a lot to take in all at once." She said before rubbing his back "But you should happy right now, you're having a Royal event held just for you!" She finished with her chipper tone.

    Xander smiled at her before speaking "You're right, this Saturday will be one to never forget, I'm sure it's gonna be amazing." He then handed one of the special tickets to Twilight.

    Twilight stared at it for a few seconds before accepting it "Thank you." She then looked at the rest of the tickets "Besides me, who are you gonna take?" She asked curiously.

    Xander rubbed his chin "Applejack, Jerald, Rainbow dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Austen, Pinkie, and Justin." He looked to her and saw her staring at him.

    Twilight looked at him "What about the extra three tickets?" She asked.

    Xander shrugged and handed her three extra tickets "You can give them to whoever you want" he said while holding the tickets towards her.

    Twilight slowly accepted the extra tickets "But, why me? Why are you giving me the extra tickets?" She asked, confused.

     Xander smiled at her "Well, I know you have a family, and well, you're my best friend." He said while looking at her.

    Twilight looked at him with a warm smile before hugging him "Thank you, I think I know exactly who I'm gonna give these to." She said before letting him go "They're actually ponies I want you to meet." She said while staring at him with kindness in her eyes.

    Xander smiled "Who exactly are they?" He's asked with a raised eyebrow.

    Twilight smiled and spoke "My family, well, more specifically my Mom, Dad, and Brother, oh I can't wait to give them these, I bet they're gonna be overwhelmed to personally meet you, especially now with your new title." She said while smiling down at the ground.

    Xander chuckled "C'mon, you're acting like a heroes a huge celebrity or something." He finished with a sigh.

    Twilight giggled "The hero is a celebrity, silly! It's actually a lot like being Royalty, except for the fact that you actually go into major battles." She smiled up at him "You're gonna see, ponies are gonna go crazy for you!" She said with a bit of excitement in her tone.

    Xander shrugged "Oh well." He then realized something "Wait, today's Wednesday, and the event is Saturday, so doesn't that mean me and the guys need to have some formal clothing made for us?" He asked.

    Twilight perked up and hopped up immediately "Wow! I never even thought of that! C'mon, Xander! We need to go give the others their tickets and then head to Rarity's!" She said as grabbed the tickets from Xander and walked out of the door.

    Xander shook his head and followed her. 'I swear that mare is a perfectionist.' He thought before walking out of the door.

    Twilight walked inside of sugar cube corner with Xander behind her. She Called out Pinkie's and Austen's name, to which they appeared out what seemed like thin air.

    Pinkie spoke "Hey Twilight! Whatcha need?" She then looked at the tickets "Ooooh, pretty!" She observed the tickets.

    Twilight levitated one to Austen, then to Pinkie "Actually, we are here to give you these. The Princess is holding a Royal event for our lucky little human here." She said as she stood on her hind legs and squished Xander's cheeks together "He's being given a very major title on Saturday." She said while getting down back onto all fours.

    Austen looked at Xander "Oh, I think I know what it is. Is the Princess announcing you as the hero finally?" Austen asked plainly.

    Xander nodded "Yup, the time has come." He said while crossing his arms.

    Twilight spoke up again "We need to get going, but Pinkie, you need to take Austen to Rarity to get a suit made, we'll meet you there in a little bit." She said while turning around.

    Pinkie grabbed Austen and made him follow her "C'mon big bear, we need to get you all handsome!" She said while walking out of the door.

    Xander followed Twilight as she walked out of the door.

    

    Xander walked beside Twilght as they approached the Apples front door. Xander knocked on the door a few times before it instantly swung open, revealing Jerald.

    Jerald spoke loud with his new country accent "What do you two need?" He asked with a chipper tone.

    Xander handed him two tickets "We're inviting you and Applejack to something important up at the castle. Also, later you need to go Rarity to have a fancy suit made." He hit the high points.

    Twilight spoke up "What he really means is that, Celestia is holding a Royal event for him and we wanted to give you and Applejack VIP tickets to it. You need to have a tuxedo or something fancy made since this is a very special event, also because you're gonna be a special guest there." Twilight explained with more detail.

    Jerald nodded his head "Oh, alrighty, I'll give Aj her ticket and then we'll meet y'all at Rarity's" he said while walking back inside.

    Twilight smiled "Alright, now it's time for Justin and Fluttershy." She said while walking away.

    Xander sighed and followed her "This is probably the most boring thing I've done since I've got here." He said while walking beside Twilight.

    Twilight giggled I'm response to his comment.

    Twilight knocked and Fluttershy's cottage door, which resulted in it opening, revealing Fluttershy.

    Fluttershy spoke "Oh! What are you two up to?" She asked with her timid tone.

    Twilight smiled and gave her two tickets "We're here to give you and Justin some tickets to a Royal event up at the castle!" She said with a chipper tone.

    Fluttershy accepted the tickets and spoke again "What about Rainbow Dash?" She asked curiously.

    Twilight smiled "We've gotta track her down, we have one for her too." She replied nicely.

    Fluttershy turned around and called Rainbow Dashes name.

    Rainbow Dash revealed her self and spoke "Wassup?" She asked.

    Twilight smiled and said hello to Rainbow "Oh, hey Rainbow, it's actually good that you're here." She then gave her a ticket to which she accepted "You're invited to a Royal event up at the castle." She explained.

    Rainbow looked at the ticket and spoke "What's the event for?" She asked, not knowing about Xander's title.

    Twilight giggled "They're gonna announce the new hero." She stared at Rainbow.

    Rainbow tilted her head "No way! I never would've seen that coming." She claimed.

    Twilight giggled some more before sighing and turning her attention to Fluttershy "Justin needs some fancy clothing, so take him to Rarity's and the others will meet you there" she said before trading her goodbyes.

     Twilight walked with Xander beside her, she noticed he was deep in thought "What's wrong?" She asked with slight concern.

    Xander sighed "It's Justin, he hasn't really seemed to be around that much. It feels like I'm losing a friend." He said before looking at her.

    Twilight smiled gently "Don't worry, he's probably just been busy, so I'm sure once he has more free time he will come to hangout." She said while bumping up against him "Besides, you still have me and the others to hangout with." She said, trying to cheer him up.

    Xander sighed "Yeah, I guess you're right." He said while still thinking about it.

    Twilight and Xander arrived at Rarity's soon after the conversation. They both entered the boutique and were welcomed with the faces of their friends.

    Rarity walked up to the two and asked "What's this about a Royal celebration I've been hearing about?" She soon stopped when she was given a ticket "Oh, I see. There's a event going on at the castle?" She asked.

    Twilight nodded before speaking "Yup, the Princess is announcing a new hero, so these tickets will pretty much count us as being the new heroes friends." She said while smiling at Rarity.

    Rarity wore a wide smile "Now I understand why you all are here! You need fabulous new outfits for such a important occasion!" She exclaimed. She grabbed Xander with her magic and put him in the section where she had some tuxedoes made "I've been experimenting for a time like this." She then grabbed a classic black and white tuxedo with a red tie "Go and put this on, it should look great on you!" She then trotted off to the others to probably do the same thing.

    Xander went into the dressing room and put on the outfit, along with the dress shoes that he had received. He looked into the mirror and adjusted his collar and tie before exiting the room to get approval.

    Twilight saw Xander and smiled "You look great! It seems to fit with your body really well!" She complimented.

    Rarity nodded "I do agree darling, but perhaps before you go to the event, you should spike up your hair, and maybe try and find some sunglasses, it would definitely add some personality." She explained.

    Xander nodded before speaking "I can do that, I think I have just what you're talking about." He said with a smile.

    Twilight smiled and looked at Rarity before speaking "How much will the suit cost?" She asked.

    Rarity shook her head "Nothing at all, especially after you gave me a special ticket." She said with a smile.

    Xander had gone and changed while they talked, but he came out a few minutes later. He spoke when he came back "Thanks Rarity, this suit really does look great!" He complimented her skills.

    Rarity smiled "Thank you, darling. Nice to know you enjoy my work." She gave a nice smile.

    The others came and showed Xander their suits. Jerald had received a navy blue tuxedo with a white undershirt and navy blue tie. Austen got a red suit with a white tie and undershirt. Justin got a white suit with a red tie and white undershirt.

    Xander complimented them on their suits before having Twilight get his attention "It's starting to get a little late, we should head home now." She said while walking for the door.

    Xander said his goodbyes before following Twilight, he walked beside her and spoke "Today was kind of boring, but I guess I've never been one to really enjoy running errands." He said, finishing with a sigh.

    Twilight giggled before speaking "Don't worry, Saturday will be eventful enough for you." She said while walking.

    Xander smiled "I'm sure Saturday will be a good day." He walked with Twilight back home to retire for the day.
