Blindfox nodded her thanks to the willow clan medicine cat, Petalsong,

      “thanks for these traveling herbs Petalsong.” she mewed trying to be cheerful, even though she was afraid out of her pelt about becoming leader.

What do I do? Will Starclan except me as a leader despite me being blind?

     “are you nervous?” Petalsong asked interrupting Blindfox’s thoughts.

    Blindfox let out a sigh, “yes, I just hope Starclan accepts me…” she felt like a coward.

   “they will! It was Starclan who let you become a leader! Trust me.” she winked at the light brown she-cat.

     no Blindfox thought ruefully, my sister was the one who thought me the special moves for blind cats. Smallstar just saw those moves I was practicing and let me become a warrior. “I do trust you its just tha-” she mewed aloud.

    Petalsong cut her off, “stop worrying! Take these herbs for your journey, you need to get going now, just chew and swallow.”

   Blindfox sighed and shoved down the bitter herbs, wrinkling up her nose as she swallowed. Flicking her tail in a silent goodbye to Petalsong, she padded out the den.

   Blindfox stared up blindly at the moonstone glittering in the moonlight, she pictured it lighting up the dark walls of the tunnel. Starclan will accept me! she thought to herself, working up her courage. She laid down next to the moonstone letting her nose touch the ice cold surface, then she felt her eyes getting heavy with tiredness and she quickly drifted off into a deep sleep.

   Blindfox slowly opened her eyes, no dream. no! Starclan won’t accept me to be a leader! suddenly she stopped grieving when she realized she was not at the moonstone, but in a strange unknown forest.

   “wait!” Blindfox began to panic, “where is the moonstone?! Where is home?! where in the name of Starclan am I!?” she glanced over her shoulder and saw a small twoleg nest, bushes with bright blue flowers where planted in front of the nest and there seemed to be lots of animals and a small stream cut in the earth rushed through. She saw a small wooden twoleg bridge going across.

    "waaait!!!" Blindfox gasped with realization, "i can see!" she glanced around, then crouched down under the shelter of a holly bush as she saw a yellow horse with a pink mane trot out of the nest. i thought twolegs lived in nest, not horses, unless im a mouse-brain. suddenly the horse looked at her making Blindfox mrrow in surprise,

    "how did it see me?!" she spat, then noticed her tail sticking out from under the bush, "fox-dung!!!".

        the yellow horse galloped over and looked under the bush and gazed at Blindfox, "oh!" it smiled, "just a cat, its okay little she-cat, im not going to hurt you."

       Blindfox blinked in surprise, "since when can horses talk in...uh..cat!?"

"what?" the horse smiled, "she talks! wow, I've never seen a cat who could talk before."

    "wait!? you understand me!?" Blindfox gasped, "as far as i'm concerned, horses say, neigh not meow."

         then out of no where, another horse with a rainbow mane crashed out of the sky landing on top of Blindfox under the bush. Blindfox let out a surprised hiss.

        "heh, sorry fluttershy! i didn't aim very well, flew into a tree while practicing a new trick..." the rainbow horse apologized.

  Blindfox managed to slide out from under the horse and began to creep away from the two horses.

      "oh, thats okay Rainbow Dash, wait." Fluttershy looked around, "where did the little she-cat go?" Blindfox flinched and crept further back, only to step on a twig. snap!

"oh there she is!" Fluttershy smiled and picked Blindfox up.

            Blindfox sighed, "okay...if i get taken by talking horses, would i even be called a kittypet?" she meowed, half to herself.

               The rainbow one smiled, "whoa, where did you get the talking cat?"

                 "i just found her."

                     "it looks like its starving."

                       "oh your right! the poor thing!"

         Blindfox let out a hiss of annoyance, "im not a it!"

                   the yellow one smiled sheepishly, "sorry...." blindfox narrowed her eyes, i could barely hear that...wait! it was the rainbow one who called me an it, i don't hear a apology from her.

                     "sooo..." Blindfox started, "whats your name?"

                        "Im Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow announced, loud enough to hurt Blindfox's ears.

                          "oh, and im Fluttershy...." fluttershy replied. she's a quiet one, and great starclan, what is up with there names, i mean, i guess there could be a clan cat named fluttershy, but, rainbow dash? hum...
