Part 1
It was just an ordinary day for Rainbow Dash. She woke up, yawned loudly and found herself in her cloud castle. She turned her head to the left to see Tank who was still asleep. Rainbow Dash tapped Tank but he kept snorring so she decided to let him sleep. She flapped her wings and flew towards the main entrance.
"Cya later Tank!" she said before finally flying off. She didnt quite know what to do. She didnt have any appointments today so she just flew around,looking for something interesting to do.
Her first idea was to visit Applejack at the Apple Orchard. Applejack was almost as crazy for adventure as Rainbow Dash so she thought It would be a good idea to look what she was up to. Rainbow Dash flew towards the orchard and spotted Applejack when she finally arrived there. Applejack was currently out in the Orchard,bucking apples. Rainbow landed behind her and greeted her.
"Hey Applejack,what's going on?"
Applejack turned her head around to see her friend. "Oh,Howdy Rainbow. As ya can see,im bucking apples. Granny gave me alotta stuff to do for today."
Rainbow lowered her head. "sooo...that means you aren't free to do other stuff today, right...?"
Applejack turned her head back to the apple tree. "Nope, sorry sugarcube, none can do. Maybe tomorrow."
"ugh...alright, I'll cya later..." Rainbow Dash flew off and thought about who could be doing interesting stuff today.
"thats it! Twillight! She always needs help with some weird magic stuff!" and with that Rainbow Dash dashed off towards Twillight's Library.
Twillight was sitting in her Library, studying a book that Princess Celestia had sent her. It was an ancient book full of spells. Celestia wanted her to learn these ancient spells in case they would need to fight off evil once more.
She read page after page, her eyes focused on the small printed text when suddenly Rainbow Dash flew through an open window.
"Hey Twillight!" Rainbow yelled.
Twillight jumped to her hooves and gave Rainbow a glare. "Dont scare me like that Rainbow! I could have accidentally cast a spell on you and you could have been seriously hurt!"
Rainbow Dash chuckled. "yeah yeah,whatever." She replied,a smile spreading across her face. "Anyhow,what are you doing Twillight?" Twillight looked at her and then glanced back at her book. "Well, currently I'm studying this Ancient spell book that Celestia sent me. She told me I need to learn these spells just in case, for important matters that may rise in the future."
Rainbow Dash cocked her head to the side. "Cool!" She says, walking over. "Maybe you can try one right now!"
"Right now!?" Twillight was shocked. "Yeah, why not? You practice best by doing,right?" Rainbow Dash tilted her head. "I guess you've got a point..." Twillight looked back down on the book.
"Alright,I think I found a good spell. It should create a forcefield around Ponyville." Twillight took a deep breath. "right, here we go..."
Twillight began casting the spell while Rainbow Dash was staring at her. For the first few seconds everything seemed to go as planned,but suddenly Rainbow Dash began hovering through the air.
"Uh, Twillight? what's going on?" Twillight paniced and tried to find out what might be wrong. "I dont know!" Suddenly Rainbow Dash started to glow.
"NO! RAINBOW DASH!" Twillight ran towards Rainbow Dash but she was too late...Rainbow Dash vanished infront of her own eyes before she could reach her.
Twillight couldnt believe what just happened and she quickly took the book,trying to find out which spell she had actually casted.
"a...Teleportation Spell!? oh no..."
Rainbow Dash slowly regained consciousness. She had a massive headache and didn't know what just happened.
"W...what happened...where am I? Twillight? Are you there?"
Rainbow opened her eyes and looked around. She was all alone in a forest. Rainbow Dash looked shocked. "where the hay am I? What crazy spell did Twillight cast there?"
Rainbow slowly tried to get up,her head still hurting "damn headache...I dont even think I can fly with this much of a headache"
She aimlessly walked through the Forest, not knowing where she was. After some time she found a path. "maybe this path will lead me back to Ponyville."
She walked along the path, hoping she would soon arrive at Ponyville to meet the others,but things didnt go as she hoped.
She started hearing talking in the distance and quickly hid in a bush next to the path. Then she saw the source of the talking. two weird looking creatures walked along the path and talked to eachother. She had never seen anything like them before. They were tall creatures walking on two legs. Rainbow Dash tried to listen to what they were saying.
"Yo Alex, are you gonna go to the Skatepark with me tomorrow?"
"Nah,sorry James, I cant"
James stopped Alex "What? Why? I thought you love skating."
Alex rolled his eyes. "You know I do,I just...I have something else to do tomorrow, alright?"
"what would that be?"
"that's none of your business mate" Alex tried to walk away but James once again stopped him in his tracks.
"come on man, tell me, I always tell you everything, now its your turn!"
"ugh...fine...I've got a date with Jessica tomorrow"
"ooooh, I see"
"yeah, well, I really hope it works out between me and her..." Alex felt awkward. "Could we maybe change the topic?"
Rainbow Dash slowly walked backwards, trying to move away from the two creatures, but she accidentally stepped on a stick.
Alex turned back to look for the source of the cracking noise. "Yo James, did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"That weird noise, I think it came from over there." He pointed at the bush. "Come on man, we gotta take a look."
"Man,you're going crazy."
"Fine,if you dont believe me then I'll go look myself!" He started walking towards the bush,not knowing what made the weird noise.
Rainbow Dash paniced. she didnt know what to do or where to go. "maybe I can scare them away..." She thought.
"Hey! Dont come any closer! You will regret it!" Rainbow Dash hoped the creatures would go away but she was wrong.
"Hello? who's there?" Alex looked back to his friend James for a moment who was as surprised as he was.
"I dont wanna tell you twice! go away!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"I dont wanna hurt you,Im not looking for trouble!" Alex got a little closer.
"Then go away!"
"I just wanna help you"
Alex was now standing right infront of the bush. He was about to look who was hiding in it but before he could do that Rainbow Dash leaped out of the bush and pinned him to the ground.
"I said: GO AWAY!" Rainbow Dash stared Alex into the eyes. Alex couldnt believe what he was seeing.
"are you...Rainbow...Dash!?" Alex asked her,still not believing his eyes.
"The one and only,who told you my name?" Rainbow Dash gave Alex a questioning look.
"It's a long story,I can tell you about that later...I'm Alex." Alex put on a false smile.
"Yeah,I know. I heard you two talking." Rainbow replied,rolling her eyes.
"I thought so...um..." Alex tried to move. "could you maybe let me stand up?
Rainbow Dash thought for a second. "Alright...but no tricks." She let go and Alex stood up.
Alex turned his head to where James had been but he couldnt see him anywhere. "Where did James go?"
Rainbow Dash shrugged "I dont know,he must've run away."
"I guess so,yeah..."
"So anyway Alex..."
Alex turned back to face Rainbow Dash. "Yeah...?"
"You gotta answer me some questions..."
Part 2
Alex made a confused face. "What kind of questions?"
"First off,I wanna know what you are. I've never seen anything like you before."
"Oh,I...um...you haven't?" Alex replied awkwardly, not knowing how to respond.
"No. No I haven't, and I've been in alot of places and met alot of creepy creatures. Now tell me."
"Well...um,alright...my species is called "Human"."
"Human..." Rainbow Dash thought for a moment. "Nope,never heard of humans. That brings me to my next question: where the hay am I to meet something like you?" Rainbow cocked her head.
"Oh...you...you dont know?" Alex was surprised that she didnt know.
"Nope, no clue."
"Well...this might shock you...but...um..." Alex gulped. "This...isnt really Equestria. You are on a different planet called "Earth"."
Rainbow giggled,not believing him. "Haha, yeah sure and I'm Nightmare Moon, haha....but seriously, where am I?" Rainbow asked in a serious voice.
"I know you dont believe me, but its true. This isnt Equestria. You are on Earth. I dont know how you got here but this surely isnt Equestria."
Rainbow Dash's suddenly had a very serious look. She remembered of what happened back in Ponyville with Twillight. "Oh...no..."
"Hey,are you alright?" Alex asked.
"No...no...no,no,no! This cant be true! This must be a bad dream! A joke!" Rainbow Dash screamed.
"I'm sorry...buti, it really isnt..."
Tears began running down Rainbow Dash's cheek. "This cant be true...no..."
Alex was worried. He sat down next to Rainbow and tried to cheer her up. "Hey,everything is gonna be alright."
"No..no its not! This is a nightmare!" Rainbow Dash screamed back at him.
Alex was curious about what actually brought her to earth. "W-what...actually brought you here? Im just...you know, curious."
Rainbow wiped the tears out of her face. "I got here by accident..."
"By accident? How?"
"It has to do with somepony I know. A friend. Her name is Twillight."
"Oh,ok...what did she do?"
"She was doing research on spells with some stupid old book. I told her she should try one out...It all went wrong..."
"Oh ok...now I understand."
Rainbow sighed. "I'm an idiot..." Rainbow started crying again.
"Hey, you're not an idiot! you are the most awesome pony in Equestria!" Alex said, trying to cheer Rainbow Dash up
Rainbow looked at him "and how would you know? You arent even from Equestria!"
"It's a long story, but I know you better than you think."
"Oh yeah? prove it."
Alex thought for a second and then answered. "Well, you represent the Element of Loyalty, you are a gigantic fan of the Wonderbolts and also went to the Wonderbolt Academy, you are big Daring Do fan, you are the fastest pony in Equestria and you are the only one to ever perform the legendary Sonic Rainboom."
Rainbow Dash stared at Alex. She was deeply shocked that he knew all this about her. "You...I...how..."
"Did I prove it?"
"Well, I mean...yeah...but...I dont understand how you could know all these things about me. I thought this was a different planet...how is it possible for you to know me?" Rainbow Dash was really confused.
Alex felt awkward, he knew that he would need to tell Rainbow Dash the truth but he didnt know how he could do that and how she would react.
Alex was about to say something when it started raining. He could hear thunder in the distance.
"Damn rain, we should probably go inside, I dont wanna become sick." He thought that he should take Rainbow Dash back to his home where it was warm, then he could tell her.
"Alright..." Rainbow dash replied in a quiet,sad voice.
Alex stood up. "Come on, I'll take you to my home."
"Thanks..."
Part 3
It took Alex and Rainbow Dash about ten minutes to finally arrive at Alex's home. Alex decided to take a longer, but less populated route home so that people wouldn't spot Rainbow Dash.
Now the two were standing infront of the door to Alex's home. Rainbow Dash glanced up to Alex,who noticed it and briefly smiled back at her.
"Come on now, lets head inside" Alex said with a nice voice.
Alex got out his keys, quickly found the key to the door and unlocked it. He slowly opened the door, not wanting to wake his mother up who was surely sleeping upstairs in her room at the moment.
Alex signalled Rainbow Dash to stay where she was and looked around the house if anyone else was there who could see her. There wasn't.
He went back to Rainbow Dash and signalled her to follow him upstairs.
As the two were on their way to Alex's room, Alex noticed that Rainbow was looking at all the different pictures at the Walls. They were photos of him, his younger sister or the whole family altogether.
When they arrived at his room Alex giggled a little. "Alright, this is my room. But im warning you, its not exactly a Cloud Castle." This remark made Rainbow roll her eyes.
Alex opened the door and walked inside, while Rainbow was still standing still for a few seconds, looking around the room.
"Come on in! Enough space for the two of us in here, I promise." Alex once again giggled a little.
Rainbow slowly walked inside the room, still looking around.
"Uh, could you do me a favor and close the door?" Rainbow looked back at the door. "Oh, sorry about that." "No problem." Rainbow closed the door with one of hooves and then turned back to Alex who was now sitting on his bed with his smartphone.
Rainbow Dash couldn't help but ask. "Uh, what is that?"
Alex looked up to Rainbow. "Oh, this? It's called a Smartphone. It makes it possible so that you can message people or even talk with them even if they arent there."
Rainbow's eyes became bigger. "Wow! Awesome! Let me see!" With that, Rainbow jumped on his bed and tried to look at what Alex was doing, but Alex didnt quite like that idea.
"Hey, woah woah woah! Private! No lookie for you!" Alex said, trying to hold the phone away from her.
"Oh come on! What is so private about that thing?" Rainbow asked with a confused look.
"I was writting with somebody, ok?"
"Then let me see!" Rainbow Dash once again protested.
"...Someone special Rainbow..." Alex said, rolling his eyes, hoping the Pegasus would finally leave him be. And she did.
Rainbow Dash realised what Alex meant with that. "Oh...I'm...sorry about that...I didnt mea-" Rainbow was quickly interrupted by Alex. "Its fine, its fine, dont worry about it." Alex replied to her, giving her a slight smile.
Alex finally put his phone back on his desk, where it was before. When he sat back down on his bed, he saw that Rainbow was walking around the room, inspecting all the different objects.
"What is this?" Rainbow Dash asked as she looked at the Alex's TV.
Alex walked over to her and looked at her as she was still inspecting the TV. "That thing is called a Television or TV for short."
"What does it do?" Rainbow asked, now looking at Alex.
"Haha, why dont you see for yourself?" Alex laughed as he grabbed the remote and turned the TV on. At first Rainbow was kind of scared but she quickly became interested as Alex switched over to a Cartoon show.
"This is awesome!" Rainbow said.
"Haha, I knew you'd like it." Alex replied. He sat down next to Rainbow Dash,giving her a smile which she didnt notice since she was staring at the TV. They both sat infront of the TV and decided to watch Cartoons for the rest of the afternoon.
Part 4
Alex and Rainbow Dash both didnt notice how the time went by and how the sun slowly disappeared behind the horizon. They were both focused on the TV. Rainbow Dash was simply stunned by the simple fact that something like a TV existed, Alex on the other hand wanted to let her have a fun time.
When it was around 18:30 Alex turned off the TV, much to Rainbow's disapproval.
"Hey! I wanted to watch that! Not fair!" Rainbow Dash grumbled.
"Come on, you can continue watching later Rainbow. Lets get something to eat first, alright?"
"...And you promise we'll come back to watching TV later?"
Alex couldn't help but laugh about that. "Yes Rainbow, we'll watch some TV later. Believe me. Now, lets get some food, I could eat a hor-...uh..cow...." Alex gulped.
To Alex's luck, Rainbow didn't seem to notice his little "mistake" but asked a rather different question. "You guys have cows here? I thought they would only live in Equestria."
Alex gave a sigh of relief after hearing this. "Yeah, we do. But...I dont exactly think we treat cows like you guys back in Equestria..."
"What do you mean?" Rainbow cocked her head.
"I-Im not sure if you wanna hear about that..." Alex scratched the back of his head.
"Uh, ok then...lets just go get some food then." Rainbow Dash replied, trying to avoid a possibly awkward conversation.
"Yeah, right." With that, Alex opened the door. This time though Rainbow Dash was the first to leave the room.
"Come on! Im hungry!" Rainbow said, trying to motivate Alex into hurrying up, which was unsuccessful though.
"The food wont run away, calm down." Alex said as he was closing the door of his room.
As the two were walking down the stairs, Alex looked at his watch. It was now 18:35, his parents would come home from work soon. He shrugged off his worries and lead Rainbow towards the kitchen. She was surprised at how the kitchens of humans and kitchens of ponies both seem to look kind of the same.
Alex walked by a surprised Rainbow Dash and opened the fridge, looking at what they could eat.
"Rainbow, do you like Peanut Butter?" He asked, holding up a glass of Peanut Butter.
"What the hay is Peanut Butter?" She asked with confused look.
"I take that as a no..." Alex replied to her, putting the Peanut Butter back and continuing to look for something to eat.
"Oh, how about some Bananas?" He asked, now holding up a few Bananas.
"Nah, not that big of a fan of Bananas." Rainbow Dash replied, now trying to think of what she would want to eat.
"Hm...Alright...Lets see...how abou-" Alex was interrupted by Rainbow Dash. "Do you guys have Apples too?"
Alex should have probably known better but kind of forgot that he always saw ponies eat apples. "Oh, now that you say it, yeah we do."
Rainbow Dash gave him a happy smile. "Gimme,gimme,gimme!"
Alex giggled at her enthusiasm. "Alright,alright" He grabbed 2 Apples and closed the fridge. "Here"
Rainbow quickly took the Apple and started eating. "Meh, not as good as the ones from Sweet Apple Acres...but good enough for now." Rainbow Dash said with a full mouth.
"Finish eating first, then speak." Alex reminded Rainbow, making her roll her eyes.
"Ok Mum." Rainbow replied, causing Alex to giggle a little.
After finishing eating Alex quickly grabed another two Apples. He was about to give Rainbow one of the Apples when Alex froze at the sound of something outside.
The sound of a car. The sound of his mother's car.
Part 5
Alex froze in place as he heard his mum's car stop. Rainbow Dash could only give Alex a questioning look.
"What's wrong Alex?" She asked.
"I...I forgot the time, I didnt expect my mum to come home already." He replied. Alex began running towards the stairs. "Come on, She cant see you!"
Rainbow Dash was about to ask why, but she stopped herself from doing so and decided to do what he wanted her to do and ran upstairs.
As they ran up the stairs they could hear a car door being closed. Alex and Rainbow quickly sprinted towards his room.
"Alright,um...hide under the bed until I tell you to come out, and dont make a sound." Rainbow Dash then crawled under the bed. Alex closed the door to the room and ran back downstairs to greet his mum. She always became upset if there was nobody to greet her when she came back from work.
As Alex leaped towards the door he could hear his mother trying to find the key in her bag. Alex opened the door before she could find it.
"Hey mum!" Alex said with an exhausted voice.
"Oh, hello there sweetheart. Thanks for opening the door, I can't seem to find my key." His mum said, once again trying to find her key.
"As so often..." Alex grinned at her mother but she was too busy searching her bag for the key. After what seemed like 10 minutes she finally found it.
"Ah, here it is, finally. I knew it was in there!"
"Wanna come inside now or wait until next week?" Alex interrupted his mother who now realised that she was still standing outside.
"Oh, uh yes of course." She then walked past Alex who then closed the door behind her.
She took off her shoes and jacket and then walked into the kitchen.
"Have you eaten yet?" She asked as she arrived in the kitchen, Alex following right behind her.
"Yeah, I have. A few minutes ago actually." Alex replied.
His Mum opened the fridge as she asked "And what did you eat?"
"Oh, I just ate some apples." Alex simply replied to his mum.
His mum turned her head and looked at him with a surprised look. "Apples? You rather eat apples than all the chocolate,peanut butter and..."
Alex interrupted her. "Yes mum, I ate some apples, no big deal alright? I thought you'd like it when I eat something healthy for once..." Alex gave her mum a smirk.
"Of course I do! I just...didnt expect it, thats all."
Alex giggled as he turned around to go upstairs into his room. He could hear his mum huming back in the kitchen as he ran back upstairs into his room.
As he opened the door, he could hear Rainbow Dash trying to hold her breath as to not make any noise. He walked over to his bed and looked under it to see Rainbow Dash who was trying to hold her breath as much as she could.
Alex giggled and calmed her down. "Its ok Rainbow, its me." The next thing he could hear was Rainbow Dash gasping for air.
"I said you should be quiet, not to die by doing so." He said as Rainbow Dash slowly crawled out from under the bed. He could swear that he heard a little grumbling as she got up.
"I didnt know it was you, alright?" Rainbow Dash said to him, followed by yet another grumble.
"Hey, its alright. I know you just tried to be as silent as possible." He put his arm around Rainbow who then put on a smile.
"So...you promised me we'd watch some TV after eating..." Rainbow Dash said as she was looking at Alex with little puppy eyes.
"Yeah yeah, you're right." With that Alex stood up, grabbed the remote and turned on the TV once more.
Alex took his desk chair and sat down on it to watch. A few seconds later he found Rainbow Dash sitting down on his legs.
"Hey Alex..." Rainbow Dash looked up to Alex.
"Yeah?" Alex looked down at her.
"Thanks...for everything..." Rainbow Dash smiled at him which made Alex put on a smile as well.
"Hey, it's alright. I can't just leave you outside all by yourself, right?" Alex asked rethorically.
Rainbow Dash once again smiled and then turned back around to face the TV.
Part 6
Alex and Rainbow Dash had been watching TV for 2 hours when Alex had to leave Rainbow for a few minutes to take a shower.
As Alex was about to leave the room to head for the bathroom he once again ordered Rainbow Dash to be quiet and hide under the bed and so she did.
The time Alex was gone felt like an eternity for Rainbow Dash. She tried to focus on being quiet and listened to sounds outside of the room but she soon got bored. It didnt take long until she crept out of her hiding spot under the bed and started inspecting the room.
She looked at all kinds of strange items in the room. After a few minutes she froze as she stared at a picture on the wall. It showed Alex with 5 other boys. This reminded Rainbow Dash of her situation. She was all alone on a strange, unknown planet, unknowing how exactly she even got here and if there was a way for her to return to equestria and her friends.
Rainbow Dash kept looking at the picture, snobbing and tears in her eyes, and tried to make sense of the current situation and if everything was going to be ok again.
Then suddenly the door opened and Rainbow Dash could see a familiar face, the only familiar face in this world actually.
Alex immediatly saw that something was wrong with Rainbow Dash. He could hear the sobbing from outside which made him worried that his mother might have heard it too but it didnt seem so.
"Hey RD, whats wrong?" He said as he closed the door and walked over to Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash just kept looking at the picture, her sobbing becoming louder, and didnt bother to look at Alex or answer him.
Alex sat down next to her and laid his arm around her neck. "Hey, tell me, whats wrong? You can tell me everything, trust me."
Rainbow Dash gave Alex a glance and then looked away again, crying even harder than before. "I-I...I miss...I miss my friends A-Alex..."
Alex started petting Rainbow Dash. He couldn't imagine what it must be like for her right now. She was all alone in this world.
"Oh, I see now..." Alex now looked up at the picture of him and his friends and realized why it made her so sad. It must have reminded her of her friends. Of the friends that were now who knows how far away. The friends that she may never see again.
"Im so sorry RD..." Alex kept petting her to comfort her. Rainbow Dash tried to wipe away some tears.
"T-thanks Alex..." She replied with new tears running down her cheeks.
"This must be terrible for you..."
"I just w-wanna see them again..." She replied. "D-do you think I will see them again?" Rainbow Dash asked with a sobbing voice.
Alex thought for a second and then answered. "Well...I wouldnt be surprised if you do. If there is a way for you to be teleported over here then there must be a way to teleport you back, right?"
"Yeah, I guess you're right..." Rainbow Dash wiped the tears away and turned to Alex. "Sorry if I'm causing trouble for you. This is probably not something you expected to happen."
"Oh, you're not causing any trouble for me...not yet at least..." Alex replied
Rainbow Dash cocked her head slightly. "Not yet? What do you mean?"
Alex sighed at her question. "Well, I cant keep you a secret from my family. I will need to tell them about you at some point. Who knows how they will react!" Alex started to panic a little bit as she thought about the possible outcome but Rainbow Dash quickly calmed him down by putting a hoof on his shoulder.
"Hey dont worry, I'm sure they'll understand." Rainbow Dash assured him with a smile on her face.
"Lets hope so..."
Part 7
After Alex and Rainbow Dash were both feeling good again they wanted to once again turn on the TV but unfortunatly Alex's mum called from downstairs to tell him to go to bed. Alex was surprised and looked at the clock in his room, it was 10 pm. They were both surprised how fast time went by.
In the next moment though, Alex realised a new problem: Where would Rainbow Dash sleep? If she sleeps with him in the bed she would risk to be seen by his parents or his sister. But he couldn't let her sleep under the bed, on the cold, dusty floor, right?
"I got an idea..." Alex began "You can sleep with me in my bed, but you'll have to wake up about an hour earlier than me and hide under the bed from there on, just to make sure my family doesn't see you."
Rainbow Dash thought for a few seconds and then nodded. "Alright, I guess that will work."
Alex walked over to his bed and took out his smartphone to set up the alarm for tomorrow. He laid it down on the bedside table and turned back to Rainbow Dash who was now looking at him.
"Alright, lets get some sleep now." Alex said as he turned to his bed and laid down.
Rainbow Dash flapped her wings and laid down on the bed aswell, right next to Alex. Alex then covered himself and Rainbow Dash up.
"Good night Dashie." Alex said as he turned off the lamp next to the bed.
"Good night Alex." Rainbow Dash replied with a smile which Alex couldnt see in the darkness.
The two then slowly drifted off into sleep. Both of them had alot in mind. Rainbow Dash was still worried about her friends, Equestria and this new world. Alex was still worried about how his family and, at some point, all the other people are going to react to Rainbow Dash.
Part 8 (Twillight FOV)
There she was, standing in her library in which one of her best friends had been a few seconds ago. Twillight tried to look for a way to teleport her back but she just couldn't find it. She kept looking and looking until she went through the entire book.
She then slowly closed the book and laid it down on a table next to her. She stood up, walked to the place where Rainbow Dash had been and...cried...
First it was only one tear, then two and suddenly hundreds. Her friend was could be dead already and it was all her fault...
Twillight curled up on the ground and covered her face with her hooves. Her sobbing became louder and louder and her tears were already forming a small puddle.
"I-I'm...s-so...so sorry..." was all she could muster before crying out loud.
Suddenly the door of the library opened and Spike entered. He immediatly saw Twillight curled up and crying and he ran over to her.
"Twillight! What's wrong?" He asked as he stood next to her.
Twillight didn't answer, she simply kept crying.
"Come on Twillight, what is it? Whatever it is, you can tell me." Spike then laid a hand on Twillight's shoulder who then lifted her head to face him.
"S-she's gone..." Twillight said before dropping her head once again.
"Gone? What do you mean Twillight? Who is gone?" Spike asked with a confused look.
It was then that Twillight switched over from sadness to rage. She once again lifted her head, this time with an angry look on her face.
"RAINBOW DASH! SHE IS GONE! AND IT'S ALL MY FAULT!!" She yelled at Spike.
Spike was surprised to see Twillight this angry. "Calm down Twillight, what do you mean "She is gone"?" Spike asked.
Twillight fought with herself as she remembered the moment. "I used a teleportation spell on Rainbow! She disappeared! I dont know where she is! Nopony knows! She is gone! And It's all my fault Spike!"
As Spike processed what Twillight just told her, Twillight began to cry and sob once again.
"I'm a monster..." She muttered to herself.
Spike almost began panicing but calmed himself down. The last thing the two of them needed was him to panic. Instead, he walked over to Twillight and tried to calm her down.
"Look Twillight, I'm sure we can find a way out of this. There must be a way to get her back. I mean-" Twillight interrupted him. "I looked for a counterspell already, but I couldn't find ANYTHING!"
"Oh...b-but I'm sure the Princesses will know a way to fix this, right? I mean, they are the Princesses after all."
Twillight wiped off some tears, got up and faced Spike. "I hope you're right Spike..."
"Of course I am, I'm always right!"
Twillight rolled her eyes. "Yeah, right..."
Twillight walked up to the window Rainbow Dash flew in. She quickly turned back to Spike as new tears were already forming in her eyes.
"Before we tell the Princesses though...we should tell the others..."
"Oh...yeah, we should probably do that first."
Twillight sighed and walked up to the door. Spike jumped up on her back and Twillight opened the door. She glanced back for one second and then closed the door behind her.
This was not going to be an easy task.
Part 9
It was still early in the Morning when Alex's alarm clock went off. They both moaned as they were suddenly woken up. Alex quickly used his right arm to grab his smartphone and turn off the alarm.
"Alright Dashie, that's your call. Sorry but you gotta hide now." Rainbow Dash yawned as she slowly got up.
"Yeah, yeah" She replied with a tired voice. She crawled back under the bed and went quiet. Alex could soon hear her snoring silently. Perhaps she was ok with sleeping under the bed after all? But that wasn't something Alex needed to worry about, he had to get some more hours of sleep.
Alex slept for about 2 more hours as he was (once again) suddenly woken up. This time though, it wasn't his alarm clock that woke him up. It was his little sister who sneaked into his room to scare him.
"GAAAH!!" She yelled as she was sitting on him. Alex was awake immediatly.
"AH! WHAT THE-..." He yelled as he opened his eyes and recognized his sister who was giving him a satisfied smirk. "Lucie!? What the hell!?"
Alex's reaction made Lucie laugh. She loved to prank people, especially his brother...unfortunatly for Alex, that was him. "Hahaha! Oh come on bro, It wasnt that scary."
Alex became furious and tried to push his little sister off of him. "I told you not to prank me Lucie!"
Lucie jumped off of his bed and turned back to him with a mocking gesture. "Oh yeah? What do you wanna do about it?"
"I'll tell mum and dad about it, they definitly don't support your pranks!" Alex replied to her in an angry voice as he sat up in his bed.
"Oh you're gonna play like that? I thought you wouldn't ruin fun like that."
"FUN!? Lucie, this isnt fun! Some people out there would get a heart attack if you scare them like that!"
Lucie rolled her eyes at that statement. "Yeah, but I'm not planning on pranking grandma, am I?"
"GET OUT!" Alex pointed at the door.
"Ok, ok, im going...jeez" Lucie walked up to the door and stuck out her tongue at Alex before she closed the door and walked off.
Alex grumbled as he finally got up from his bed. "Silly bitch..."
"I found it pretty funny." Alex forgot about Rainbow Dash who had been hiding under the bed the entire time. He could swear that she was giggling.
"Yeah, you two, hm?"
"Come on Alex, it was a good prank. I know it, im the queen of pranks." Rainbow said with pride in her voice.
"Yeah, I know..." Alex always got a headache at the thought of having 2 pranksters around. "Oh and you can come out now by the way."
"Thank Celestia, finally..." Rainbow said as she crawled out of her hiding spot. "About damn time."
Alex looked at Rainbow Dash as she stood infront of her. She was full of dust and dirt.
"So what now?" Rainbow Dash cocked her head.
"Well...I propose you take a shower before we go eat breakfast..." Rainbow Dash made a confused look.
"Uh, what is a shower?"
Alex had forgotten that Ponies in Equestria probably didn't have showers, or anything else that was highly technological and powered by electricity and/or water for that matter. "Oh, um...It's a thing we use to clean ourselves. You step into the shower and then you wash yourself with water."
"Oh, ok I guess..." Rainbow Dash shook her body, creating a big dust cloud.
Alex coughed as he tried not to breath in all the dust Rainbow Dash had just shaken off of her. "Yeah, you definitly gotta go take a shower."
"...that dirty?" Rainbow Dash asked. Alex nodded.
"uh huh."
Rainbow Dash sighed. "Fine...where is this "shower" thing?"
"Hold on, I'll show you. I'll teach you how everything works while im there too. Although, I think you might need some help because of your...um, hoofs..."
"Are you saying I cant do it myself?" Rainbow Dash asked in an annoyed tone.
"Well, our machines here arent exactly made to support hoofs, or ponies for that matter. So yeah, I am saying you probably wouldn't be able to do it yourself."
Rainbow Dash wanted to argue first but then realised that Alex was probably right. And after all, she didnt even know what exactly a shower is yet. "Guess you're right..."
"Uh huh, now wait here, I'll go look if there is somebody around who could see you. one second." Alex went out the room and checked around the corridor if there was anybody around. Nobody there. He ran back to his room to get Rainbow Dash.
"Alright, we're clear. Come on!" Alex signaled Rainbow to follow him and they both sneaked along the corridor. They could hear Lucie's TV as they walked past her room. Then they finally arrived at the bathroom at the end of the corridor. Alex opened the door and stepped aside to make room for Rainbow Dash.
"Mares first." Alex smirked at Rainbow Dash who could only roll her eyes as she walked inside.
"Oh please..."
Part 10
And so Alex found himself in his bathroom, together with a fictional pony from a cartoon show for little kids. He surely never thought his life would take a turn like that. He was unsure if Rainbow's appearance in his life was for the better or worse though...
"Well, here we are. I surely didn't expect to ever show my bathroom to a pony but...here we are." Alex stated while looking at Rainbow.
Rainbow herself was way too interested in all the different, new things in the room to bother about Alex. At first she looked at the sink, then the toilet and at last the shower which stood right next to the toilet. "Woah. I've never seen anything like these things. What are these? What do they do?"
Rainbow Dash was about to sprint towards the first thing she could grab. Luckily, Alex managed to grab her my her tail and hold her back. Not much to the enjoyment of Rainbow. "Ouch! That hurts! Let me go!"
Alex sighed in annoyance. "I know this is all new for you and that you want to try everything out but you'll have to wait with that for now. I can't risk letting this take longer than it really has to, I don't want anyone asking why I'm spending so much time in the bathroom. Besides, you'll get to see most of the things while and after your shower."
Rainbow Dash's anger and annoyance quickly turned into curiosity as she heard him say the last sentence. "Well, why didn't you say so in the first place!? Let's do it!" A few moments later, Rainbow leaned over towards Alex and looked him in the eyes with a serious look. "Seriously though...don't. pull. on. my. tail. I'll let this one pass but next time...I won't be so forgiving. Understood?" Alex nodded with a slight smirk in his face. He simply couldn't help at the more than annoyed Rainbow Dash.
Alex accompanied Rainbow Dash to the shower, seeing as Rainbow Dash didn't know which one of the many objects the shower was. Now standing in front of said shower, Rainbow Dash wondered how the shower would function. "So, how does this work exactly?" She asked, looking at Alex who stood to her left.
"I'll show you. hold on." Alex replied as he opened the door of the shower. "Alright, hop on in."
"Uuuh, sure..." Rainbow Dash said as she walked inside. "So, what now?" She said as she stood in the shower, looking around for something useful or interesting.
"Now..." Alex started as he grabbed the shower head, making Rainbow look at him in curiosity. "...it's time to clean somepony up." With that Alex turned on the water, giving his unexpecting victim a wet surprise.
"Argh! What the hell is this! Make it stop!" Rainbow Dash yelled as Alex started cleaning Rainbow's body from top to bottom. Rainbow Dash yelled and rebelled but after a few minutes, it seemed to have finally paid off.
"Alright, I think that's good enough for now." Alex said as he turned off the water, leaving the picture of a completely wet Rainbow Dash in the middle of the shower. Her Mane was now hanging down into her face, partially blocking her sight.
"You think...?" Rainbow Dash replied with a side of anger while stepping out of the shower.
Alex giggled quietly as he looked at the annoyed, wet Rainbow Dash in front of him. "Come on now, let's get you dry again." He said as he walked over to the sink. to the right of the sink was a hairdryer, which Alex promptly took into his hands.
Rainbow Dash was still mad at Alex for so unexpectedly and unwillingly showering her. But she had no other choice but to follow his instructions for the moment, she didn't know any better after all and was lucky to have someone as supportive as him. "What now? Another surprise?" Rainbow Dash asked half sarcastically as she walked up to the sink, next to Alex.
"Not quite. This here is called a Hairdryer and we humans use it to dry our hair after we've taken a shower." Alex explained, making Rainbow Dash cock her head. "...Basically", Alex continued, "it's a quick and easy way to get dry again, got it?"
Rainbow Dash nodded affirmatively. "Great. Let's get to it then." With that, Alex turned on the hairdryer. At first Rainbow was surprised at the heat that the hairdryer created, but she soon got used to it and even enjoyed it a little bit as Alex went over all of her body, drying her mane and fur as he did so.
"Alrighty, seems good to me. What do you think, Rainbow?" Alex asked as he looked at the now once again dry Rainbow Dash.
"Same here, can't believe this actually worked. And it wasn't painful or anything too! How did nobody in Equestria ever think of this?" Rainbow Dash asked with excitement.
"Well...It's not exactly easy to produce something like this. I don't think you ponies in Equestria really have the...technology or ressources to achieve something like this." Alex replied with a scratch of his head. "Then again, you're from Equestria, not me, so what do I know." Alex added with a shrug.
"Nah, I'm sure Twilight would get the hang of this kinda stuff. Anyways, what's next?"
"Well, you're done with showering. I assume my shower can wait for now, I propose we should go grab something to eat. I could really need breakfast right now."
Rainbow Dash jumped in joy. "Oh yeah! I'm starving! What are we waiting for? Let's go eat something already!"
Alex chuckled at Rainbow Dash's enthusiasm. "Your wish is my command." Alex said as he opened the door of the bathroom, making sure noone was there who could spot them. Once again, it was clear.
"Follow me then." Alex said to Rainbow while waving her to follow him.
