This Isn't What I Had In Mind.
Chapter 7: Chpt 7. You Can't Hold Me
Previous Chapter Next ChapterAuthor's Notes:
This chapter is shit, don't even think about thinking otherwise. It was horribly written, not long as I'd like it to be, and to top it all off I CANNOT BUCKING WRITE AN ANGRY CELESTIA!
And it's also rushed as shit.
Let me know of any and all spelling/grammatical/punctuation errors, as I consider all of them cancer.
‘SHIT!’ was the last thing I could think before I was suddenly teleported.
I ended up in white square room, with what looked like tiles for the walls as I can see the lines between them, with no windows, and one door. I guess Celestia teleported elsewhere, considering she’s nowhere to be seen.
“Torture room, didn’t think the princess had it in her.” I said.
“This is not a torture room, it’s an interrogation room.” I heard Celestia’s voice in my head.
“Well, can’t say for talking equines with improper anatomy, but If I’m in a room that’s all white, It’s considered psychological torture.” I said in hopes to annoy the shit out of her. I heard grunt, which I can only assume means it’s working.
“What do you mean ‘improper anatomy’?” I heard her say.
“Not going there. No way no how.” I replied.
“You will tell us if you plan on getting out of here any time soon.”
“Oh please, I could break out of here in 30 seconds flat if I wanted.” That should get her angry. There was a long pause before she decided to speak again.
“Try.” Did she just taunt me? DID SHE JUST BUCKING TAUNT ME!? I was never good with insults, but if can hold back my anger… somewhat, if someone’s ’holding me down’ as you could call it. But since no one else is here to get in my way or could possibly get hurt, no reason in holding back, right?
I scanned the walls for… there! Misaligned panels on the wall, indicating a one way window or something behind that wall. I started walking towards it. When I arrived, I put a hoof on the right side of the line, and tapped it.
Cling. Glass.
I moved my hoof to the other side and did the same.
Thump. Wall.
All I needed to know. Just for fun I changed and added a white lab coat on my natural form.
“Observation room behind hidden one way window, how cute.” To which I heard a gasp, to which I rolled my eyes in response.
I moved towards the middle of the ‘wall’, and got to thinking about how I could break it and looking badass while doing it.
‘Nuclear explosion? Too flashy, and could blow up half the mountain. Assuming I’m in Canterlot, that is. Buck it? Not flashy enough. Vibrate through the molecules? Too… flash. Just, wow, that pun. Melt it? I’d need to know which type of glass it is… TRIAL AND ERROR IT IS!’
“Ok, maybe not 30 seconds, but faster than you can imagine.” I said. I quickly performed a few molecular scan spells, but I didn’t pick up anything I recognized. Enchanted maybe? Probably. I thought the situation over for a few seconds before I got an idea.
I almost immediately performed a sub-atomic scan on the glass to look for anything that could be interfering with the atomic structure of the wall. My eyes went wide at what I found. Each and every atom was covered in a orange aura, which seemed to be giving off incorrect measurements for my scanning spell. I was PISSED. NO one, messes with MY domain in science. Subatomic energy research was my occupation. I was so angry I didn’t even notice I was growling like a madman, but quickly took notice seconds later.
“No one…” I took a step back. “Messes…” I prepared a total meltdown spell. (A spell which simulates the temperature of the core of the sun, while keeping the user unharmed.) “With my…” I aimed for the wall, and prayed to all gods in every religion that Celestia was the only one behind that window.
“SCIENCE!!” I screamed and fired the spell.
-
Celestia was sitting in the observation room, almost unable to comprehend what she just witnessed.
“No one… messes…” At that moment, she sense the changeling preparing a spell she hasn’t had to use in over a millenia. Total meltdown. She turned around to address the two guards standing behind her.
“You need to leave, seal off the entire complex, and inform Prince Armor to cast heat shields on every surface within the area.” She commanded. The guards were about to protest about leaving their princess unguarded, but they were quickly teleported involuntarily to Shining Armor.
“With my… SCIENCE!!” Celestia knew she could survive such temperatures, but she also knew there were other ponies here who could not. She cast several layers of shield spells of all types, but she didn’t have a talent for shields and wasn’t as effective as Shining at doing so.
…
…
And everything went white. Celestia covered her eyes with her hooves to prevent going blind. She was left weak after trying to keep the shield spells up and failing, which took much more out of her than expected. When the whiteness finally subsided, she opened her eyes, and almost fainted at the sight of a changeling smiling devilishly.
“Told you so. Oh, and don’t worry about anyone else who was in the complex, I traced the metal you used to create that room to every edge of the site, and teleported everyone out. Might I add, you have a pretty nice secret underground laboratory here, I’m almost jealous.” He said, before turning around. “But it doesn’t have a hyper-advanced, super-intelligent A.I. like mine does, or did rather, considering I’ll never see it again.” He said again, before turning around back towards Celestia. “I’m an intelligent creature, not just by animal standards, I was one of the smartest beings on the planet, even more so on this one. I’m not your enemy, Celestia, and if you think about making me one…” He said before turning around… again. “I might just have to comply.” And then he teleported to who knows where.
Celestia was left dumbfounded and too tired to respond, only capable of thinking about what he said. Hyper-advanced, super-intelligent A.I.? Never see it again? One of the smartest beings on the planet? Even more so on this one? What does that mean?
-
“I think that could’ve gone better.” I said out loud as I petted Paradox. “Let’s see, I have trixie to visit in the hospital, you to take care of, a potential entire nation against me. It’s been a long day.” I said as I started making my way to my makeshift bed, and went to sleep, Paradox of course right next to me. The moon was just coming up as I drifted off to sleep.
