The Rise of Shadowlight

Twilight has fallen for dark magic and now her friends must band together with new bears of harmony to stop her
Twilight fell into sombra's grasp and has been corrupted by dark magic. with the help of new bearers of harmony and three new princesses the rest of the mane six must save Equestria from its mightiest foe
Aftermath
Shining armor continued to walk down the empty streets of Ponyville keeping his head down under his cloak. The white stallion looked around at the once cheerful little town that was now a ghost town. The buildings of homes and businesses were empty and boarded up most of the town was swallowed up by the ever free forest. The sky was dark and gray, a clear sign that even the pegasi were afraid to come out of hiding. Shining Armor quickly made his way through the ghost town finally reaching Sweet Apple Acres. the once prospering apple trees were now dead and dried up. He quickly looked around and then knocked three times on the cellar doors as an orange earth pony with a blonde mane opened it.
“Shining Armor you made It.” she said with a country accent.
“Hello Applejack how are you all doing?”
“We are holding up I must say this hit us the hardest.” Applejack said sadly but honestly as her element was Honesty.
“I know you five were her best friends her betrayal must have been heartbreaking.”
“Yea well come on in Sugar cube before somepony sees you.”
Shining Armor followed Applejack down the stairs into the cellar there he saw the rest of Twilight’s friends but the damage of what had occurred clearly took its toll on them. Especially Pinkie Pie, the once bright pink earth pony’s coat was now dull her mane was now straight as well as her tail she wasn’t smiling. Fluttershy, trying not to cry, was brushing Applebloom's mane and fixing her mane ribbon. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo stayed close to Rarity and Rainbow Dash. Rarity wasn't her prim and proper self, her usually kept mane was disheveled and dusty. Rainbow was punching the ground almost like she was blaming herself. A big red stallion with an orange mane was curled up in the corner sobbing with a tattered doll wearing blue and white poke dotted pants in his hooves. Shining Armor recognized the doll as Twilight’s doll Smarty Pant. Shining Armor looked around and saw that one mare was missing.
He looked around, even checking behind some of the crates of supplies before finding an old rocking chair sitting in the shadows. He turned back towards her, “Applejack where is Granny Smith?” he asked
Applejack lowered her hat over her green eyes and sniffed clearly trying not to break into tears.
“Granny passed away last night peacefully in her sleep.”
Shining Armor lowered his head in remorse.
“I’m sorry but at least she isn’t suffering anymore.”
“Yea how are the princesses?” Applejack asked.
“That’s why I’m here. The Princesses wish to see you all.” said Shining Armor.
Rainbow dash stretched her wings out slightly excited. “We should go see what they need guys.” she said happily
“Alright Applebloom, you, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo stay here with Big Mac. We will be back.” said Applejack as the rest of Twilight’s friends gathered around Shining Armor. As his horn began to glow and teleported himself and the girls to the Canterlot throne room. Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and Princess Cadence were waiting for them. Shining Armor walked over and hugged Cadence. Rarity quickly fixed her mane snapping out of her depression as she was in the presence of royalty.
Twilight’s friends bowed respectfully.
“How are y’all holding up?” Asked Applejack.
“We are doing fine Shining Armor’s protection spell is protecting the city.” said Cadence.
The girls noticed Celestia was kind of leaning on Luna as if she couldn’t stand up on her own.
“Princess, are sure you’re alright?” asked Applejack
“I’m fine Applejack really.” she replied.
“Then why does it look like you’re injured?” asked Rainbow Dash
Celestia signed and stood up with a flash of pain across her face.
“You went to see her didn’t you?” asked Fluttershy quietly.
Celestia nodded. “I tried to reason with her to see if I could bring her back.”
“I’m guessing it wasn’t successful.” said Rainbow Dash.
Celestia sadly nodded and said. “ She’s too far into the darkness. It pains me to see her like this I feel it's my fault she fell into his grasp. We will need your help to free her will you help us?”
“Of coarse darling Twilight is our best friend we will do anything to get her back.” said Rarity.
Celestia smiled.
“Then please come with us.” Luna said as she and Cadence helped Celestia walk with Twilight’s friends into the ballroom.
"Why did she attack you Princess?" asked Applejack.
''Because she feels I replaced her." answered Celestia.
" Replace her why would she think that?" Asked Rarity.
Before Celestia could answer Starlight Glimmer Sunset Shimmer, Moondancer and Spike opened the door to the ballroom. Twilight's friend gasped when they saw the three unicorns or rather Alicorns.
Moondancer's bangs that were normally tied up was now down and brushed her glasses and dorky sweater was gone. The three of them all had wings and crowns atop of their heads.
"When did you three become Alicorns?" asked Rarity.
" May we present The Princess of Magic Princess Sunset Shimmer, the Princess of Knowledge Princess Moondancer, and the Princess of Courage Princess Starlight Glimmer." Said Spike
The three of them bowed their heads towards their friends. Twilight's friends looked confused.
"This was always our plan." said Luna.
Twilight's friends looked at Luna even more confused.
"While Alicorns are immortal Luna and I do not wish to rule Equestria forever. I hoof picked Twilight to one day succeed me as the grand ruler of Equestria, Sunset will take my place as the one that brings the day. Moondancer will take over Luna's duties as the one who brings night and guide ponies through dreams. And Starlight will take over the Crystal Empire." answered Celestia.
" But we are not the only surprise." said Moondancer as she Sunset and Starlight and Spike turn and guide their friends through the doorway.
Once inside Twilight's friends gasped.

Hope
The girls came face to face with 15 ponies that all of them reconized and three baby dragons.
“ The five of you of you connected to the elements as Luna and I once were. Your elements inspired these ponies to follow you making them bearer as well. answered Celestia.
“And each dragon is our Assistant.” Added Moondancer as she gestured to a nightly blue female dragon with blue spikes, tiny silver wings and green eyes. “This is my dragon Nova.”
A light pink dragon with purple and magenta spikes tiny cream colored wings and light purple eyes stood next to Starlight. “Say hello to Aqua.”
Sunset introduced her dragon as Blaze who was orange with red spikes, yellow wings and sunset eyes.
The bearers of harmony steps forward each standing in front of their shared element holders.
“Girls meet the bearer of the Sun’s Harmony, The element of Honesty Silver Shill , the element of Kindness Sea Breeze , the element of Laughter Cheese Sandwich, the element of Generosity Ms. Pommel, and the element of Loyalty Spitfire.” said Celestia
Fluttershy looked around when Celestia mentioned Sea Breeze when blue Pegasus Stallion with a pink curly mane stepped in front of her. " Hello Fluttershy." he said she gasped "Se-Sea breeze how are you here and why are you a pony?" Celestia giggled "Fluttershy do you remember the spell Twilight used to help the Brezzies get home?" She nodded "I used the same spell to turn Sea Breeze into a pony." "It is the least I can do Twilight helped us when we were lost now she needs my help."
“May I introduce the bearers of the Moon’s Harmony, The element of Honesty Minuette , the element of Kindness Lyra, the element of Laughter Lemon Hearts, the element of Generosity Twinkle Shine, and the element of Loyalty Bon-bon ” said Luna.
“And finally the bears of Love’s Harmony. The element of Honesty Sugar Belle, the element of Kindness Double Diamond, the element of Laughter Party favor, the element of Generosity Night Glider, and the element of Loyalty Trixie.” said Cadence
The ponies greeted their friends.
“If these ponies are our element bearers where are the bearers of the element of magic.”
“We are!” Answered Sunset as her Moon dancer and Starlight stepped forward.
“But we have one more bearer.” said Sunset as a familiar purple Alicorn stepped out from behind Sunset shuffling her hooves nervously.
“TWILIGHT!!!!” Pinkie’s mane and tail poofed back up as she tackled the surprised alicorn to the floor hugging her tightly.
“Sorry Pinkie but shes not the Twilight you know.” said Sunset picking pinkie pie up in her magic and helping the alicorn to her hooves.
“She definitely acts like our Pinkie back home.” said the alicorn.
“Girls I’d like you to meet the human world’s Twilight but you can call her Sci-Twi.” said Sunset.
Sci-Twi waved at them nervously blushing.
“She definitely looks like Twilight.” said Rarity
“I know I’m not your Twilight but I do want to help to make up for what I did to my world.” said Sci-Twi rubbing one hoof again her four leg and keeping her head down.
“What did you do?” asked Fluttershy.
“She basically did the same thing I did she was taking over by the Equestrian magic that i brought to the human world when I stole Twilight’s crown. She almost destroyed that world to get here.” replied Sunset
“Oh Darling every pony makes mistakes and I’m sure the humans have forgiven you.” said Rarity putting her hoof around Sci-Twi’s shoulder that caused Sci-Twi to smile.
Pinkie Pie hoped around with Party Favor, Cheese Sand Which and Lemons Hearts and had seemed to cheer up a little.Rarity was admiring the fact she was an Inspiration to the generosity bearer .Rainbow Dash flew around with Spitfire as Trixie and Bon-bon giggled and talked and and Fluttershy was enjoying small talk with the kindness bearers.
Starlight looked around smiling but her smile dropped when she saw Celestia looking sad. She walked over to Celestia with Moondancer and Sunset.
“Cheer up Celestia we will find a way to get her back. Said Starlight.
“We all miss her.” said Moondancer.
Celestia smiled.
“MOON DANCER!” screamed Nova and every pony looked towards the center of the room as a black shadowy portal formed and disappeared leaving in it’s place Twilight and Sombra but Twilight wasn’t the Twilight they knew and loved. Her coat , mane and tail were darker and there was dark magic smoke coming out of her eyes. Her once purple eyes were now red. She was glaring at Sci-Twi.
“Well well well look what we have here. It seems like even my friends have replaced me.” she said angrily.
“Twilight we would never replace you we want to help you.” Cried Starlight.
“And here i came to see if my friends would join me so my dear King Sombra and I could rule Equestria together but instead I find my friends chatting and having fun with NEW FRIENDS well I could make new friends too!” she zapped her friends with dark magic sending the five flying across the room and landing at the Princess’ hooves as five black orbs flew out of them. The orbs spun around Twilight lifting her up into the air and forming a huge black ball of dark magic that then shattered to reveal five ponies that looked like off colored versions of the mane 5. Twilight laughed maliciously.
“Twilight please you don’t have to use dark magic to be powerful every pony loves you and just wants you back please come back to us!” Celestia cried pleading with her former student .
“NO I want to be powerful I want to be strong I will be the only Alicorn Princess in Equestria. This world and so many others will be mine enjoy what little time on the throne you have left Celestia your defeat is near.” Proclaimed Shadowlight as a dark magic ball engulfed Shadowlight,Sombra and the bearers of dark magic in it and disappeared as Shadowlight’s evil laugh echoed throughout the castle.

Tears and Pleasure
Sunset and Starlight helped their friends to their hooves.
“Are you all alright?” asked Starlight.
Apple Jack nodded but clearly was trying not to cry.
Pinkie Pie’s mane and tail deflated into it’s straight flat style.
“I’m so sorry I didn’t mean for this to happen.” said Sci-Twi
“It’s not your fault Darling.” said Rarity comfortingly
“The dark magic has corrupted Twilight’s mind but I know our twilight is in there somewhere.” said Moondancer.
“Cadence are you all alright!” Shining Armor burst through the door with a little alicorn Filly on his back and an orange and white unicorn stallion next to him.
“Yes are you three alright.” she asked running forward and hugging him and the filly.
“We’re alright Mama but we saw Aunt Twilight and shes scary.” said the filly.
“It’s alright Flurry Heart, Daddy and Uncle Sunburst protected you.” said Cadence.
Shining Armor smiled and hugged Flurry Heart and Cadence. “We will get her back I promise.”
Shadowlight stepped through the doors of the dark crystal palace with the Bearers of Disharmony following close behind.
“Those ponies call themselves your friends. Well Shadowlight we are you’re true friends.” said Disharmonyed Rarity.
Shadowlight groaned in frustration as they entered the throne room and bowed to Sombra who was sitting on the throne slightly confused about the five dark ponies accompanying Shadowlight.
“My king you were right my friends and mentors replaced me they have turned my former friends Moondancer and Sunset Shimmer, even going so far as to turn my former student Starlight Glimmer into Alicorns. And my friends replaced me with the me from another world, But I have made some new friends.” Shadowlight said as she introduced the Bearers Of Disharmony.
“And what does my Queen wish to do now?” asked Sombra
An evil grin formed on Shadowlight’s face.
“I want to destroy those that betrayed me and take over Equestria.”
Sombra smiled.
“In due time my dear but for now how about you and I have a little fun with these lovely new friends of yours.” Sombra’s horn glowed and transformed the girls and himself into human-pony hybrids. Sombra then guided the girls to his bed chambers, licking his lips expectantly. ‘This night just got very interesting.’ he said to himself as he closed the door behind them. After a night of pleasure Shadowlight was ready to launch her attack.
“They will try to defeat me with the elements of Harmony.” she said to Sombra
“They will fail I’ll make sure of it.” he replied as he zapped Shadowlight and the Elements of Disharmony with his magic lifting them up and filling them with dark magic.
“That boost will assure you come out victoriously My Queen. First we take Canterlot then we take Equestria.” Shadowlight smiled wickedly.
