The Pegasus Games

It was a beautiful sunny day and Scootaloo was out for a walk with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. They were planning one of their famous schemes to get their cutie marks. As they were walking along the border to the Everfree Forest they heard a scream.
“What in tarnation was that?” Applebloom questioned.
“It sounded like a bear!” Sweetiebelle announced.
“I don’t know about you but It sounded like some pony needs help.” “But Scootaloo! That’s the Everfree Forest! No pony who's gone in there has ever come out!” cried Applebloom.
“We should go get help first! Please Scootaloo just come get help with us.” Sweetiebelle was now begging her best friend.
“No, whoever is in there needs help now and if you wont help me I'll just go on my own!”

And with that Scootaloo ran into the Everfree Forest alone. Her friends ran back to town and got help, but by the time they got back Scootaloo was nowhere to be seen. They searched for days with no luck, not a single trace remained of the young filly.

They stopped searching.

Scootaloo was unconscious for three days before she started to stir. She found herself in a small hole in the forest floor. When she woke up she tried to get up only to fall down instantly when a searing pain raced through her left hind leg. It was sprained.
“AAH! My leg! Where am I? Applebloom? Sweetiebelle? Any pony?!”

By this point Scootaloo was shaking uncontrollably and was starting to realize just how troubling her situation was. She was stranded in the middle of the Everfree Forest, with no food, no water, and an injured leg. Things did not look good for poor Scootaloo.

She limped onward for what seemed like hours before she heard some quick rustling in the forest canopy above her.
“H-Hello? Is any pony there? P-Please. I need help.”
“Ha-Ha-Ha I’ve found you at last” Scootaloo didn’t recognise the voice.

By now Scootaloo was sprinting at full speed away from the direction the voice came from. She ignored the pain in her leg as she felt her overall survival was more important. Little did she know, she was running farther away from Ponyville.

It was now four hours since Scootaloo woke up and she was in a hollow tree crying. She was alone, cold, hungry, and sad. She had lost all hope of surviving at this point and she was now just waiting to die.

Scootaloo lost track of time after a while of crying in the tree, but all of a sudden she heard the voice again, this time only closer.
“Hello again kid. I was wondering when I would find you after you ran.”
“I don’t care anymore, if you’re going to kill me just make it quick, please.”
“Oh, but i don’t want to kill you. I want to play some games with you!”
“Games?” Scootaloo wondered “Now just who the hay are you really?”
“You’ll find out soon enough, I’m sure you’ll like it!”

And at that Scootaloo felt something hit her in the face. It was rough and wet, not unlike a dirty dish towel. It also smelled kinda funny. Much to Scootaloo’s dismay her world began to grow colder and colder. Scootaloo fell limp to the forest floor.

Everything went dark.

Scootaloo awoke alone in a dark room with no furniture. Upon looking around she saw only one thing. The silhouette of a very familiar pony, Rainbow Dash.\, the same pony that she loved and cared about like a sister or a mother.
“R-Rainbow Dash?” Scootaloo asked weakly, her head throbbing.
“Hay kid, do you want to play a game?” Rainbow asked in an odd tone.

It was then that Scootaloo realised that she couldn’t move. She was tied down in a metal chair that had straps for her head, arms, and legs.

“I know you’ll like it.” sneered the rainbow-maned pony “We can play all day!”

“W-What kind of game?” Scootaloo asked getting worried.

“Well we can play anything I want!”

“Oh! Can we go fly together?”
“No, but we can play one of my favorite games of all time...”

Scootaloo watched in horror as her mentor, the person she wanted to grow up to be, pulled a knife out from behind her back.
“W-What is t-that for?” Scootaloo almost cried.
“Oh nothing, it’s just part of the game!”
Rainbow Dash then examined the knife making sure it was really sharp. Scootaloo was powerless as Dash moved the knife slowly toward her and then carefully slid the point of the blade down her chest and back up, leaving light cuts in its path.
“Rainbow Dash! OW! That hurts, please stop!”
But her cries went unnoticed as her captor slowly slid the blade back and forth. It was now obvious to Scootaloo that Rainbow Dash had snapped. Constantly being singled out for her sexual preference and the colour of her mane had smashed her sanity into a million pieces. She was no longer Rainbow Dash, she was something more sinister, more evil, more... unstable. Her insanity rivaled even that of the infamous Pinkamenia Diane Pie.
*Have you ever heard of the reaction between nitric oxide and glycerin? Well think of Dash now as being that volatile reaction, with no reason to live, a desire for blood, and the means to kill. Now make that entity the fastest thing in the world. That is what Scootaloo is now facing.*
Scootaloo was now in tears as her blood slowly dripped down her sides and onto the floor. She looked up at her mentor and what she saw would haunt her for as long as she lived, no matter how long that time would turn out to be. She saw the person she treated like a sister holding a knife with her blood on it, smiling, and whispering in Scootaloo’s ear.
“I’m bored with this game, lets play something else!”
“N-No please j-just let me go, p-please!” Scootaloo begged now crying hard.

Scootaloo started struggling against the bonds that held her down. In her attempts she swung her body right into the blade and it made a significantly deeper cut than the others.
As she was struggling she started to feel the straps loosen. Scootaloo waited until dash had gone to look for another “game” to play. Then at the perfect moment she yanked hard on the straps on her arms and they released her hooves.
While she was uniting her head and leg straps she noticed that Rainbow Dash was gone, but she paid no attention to this fact as she released herself from the bonds, and her tormentor.
Scootaloo fell to the ground with a [thump] and watched for any signs that she had been heard. When the coast was clear Scootaloo ran, she ran as fast as her hooves would carry her (as her wings were too stiff to even unfold them).
“No...”
As Scootaloo turned the first corner she was blocked by a happy looking Rainbow Dash. “Hay kid where are ya going? Don’t you want to see what the next game is going to be?”
“NO! NO I DON’T! WHY ME? JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!”
“Why you? I picked you because
She stumbled a few feet then crumbled to the floor.

Scootaloo’s world faded away.
Scootaloo awoke sore and groggy, but this time the scenery had changed. She was now in a mildly lit room with white puffy walls and white puffy furniture. Since Scootaloo had never been to Cloudsdale before (on account of how weak a flier she was) she had never seen a cloud house. There was a sharp pain on her neck and there was a little red bump where Rainbow had stabbed her with who-knows-what.

Before she could get up it all came flooding back. The image of her mentor with the knife, the pain, the fear, the sadness.
“H-Hello? Rainbo...”
She was cut off by a multi-colored blur that sent her careening back at least twelve feet. She stood up and saw, standing right in front of her, her nightmare.
“Oh, I’m glad to see that you’re awake now. You had me worried.”

Scootaloo noticed the honest concern on Dash’s face.
“I thought the fun was over! Thank Celestia that you are OK.”
“Please don’t hurt me again.” Scootaloo pleaded
“Oh, but I won’t, I promise!” Dash said slyly “We can play other kinds of games too!”
“L-Like what?” Scootaloo asked with worry in her tone
“Like this!”

At the last word Rainbow Dash reached into a desk she was standing next to and pulled out something that oddly resembled a [what should i put?]. Scootaloo’s eyes went wide and she tried to run away.
“Oh no you don’t!” Rainbow screamed as she flew after Scootaloo

Scootaloo managed to get as far as the edge of the cloud before she stopped dead in her tracks. She was standing in front of a 20,000 foot drop to solid earth. She looked behind her but then wished she hadn’t, Rainbow Dash was seconds away from her. She had no other option but to either jump, or let Rainbow catch her.

She jumped.

Scootaloo screamed for two reasons. One because she was now free-falling at 20,000 feet, and two because she could see Rainbow Dash right behind her now.
“Come back here you STUPID PIECE OF SHIT!” Rainbow screamed, all traces of her sanity now gone
“Leave me alone! Please!”
“I... I... CAN’T! IF I CAN’T BE HAPPY, NOPONY IS ALOUD TO LIVE!”

By now Scootaloo was growing very close to the ground.

There was a scream.
There was a thud.
There was darkness.
There was nothing.
