Scootaloo stared blankly at her hooves, wondering what she’d just done. Wincing as she choked back tears, she used her right hoof to inspect her left arm. Breathing slowly, and calmly she inspected the damage she’d just done.

“What did I do?” she asked herself in the silence of her room. Her ears fell flat against her skull. She closed her eyes and ground her teeth tightly for several minutes. Finally she caught her breath.
