Chapter 7: My Closing Remarks

Previous Chapter
My Closing Remarks

I think I’ve had enough of this silly little journal.  Twilight was right when she said it would help me get stuff off my chest…but I don’t think these kinds of things are my forte.  I’d much prefer to conjure a storm of chocolate rain over writing a journal!  At any rate, I have to thank you for reading this.  Now you know just exactly what kind of poor misunderstood draconequus I really am…  Oh well, I guess things are good in the end.  After all, I have the mare of my dreams; I’m co-ruler of the kingdom I once ruled; and I have a dozen wonderful ponies to help me along my way!  It’s been about two weeks since I was freed from the stone again, and I still have no idea how it happened.

Oh well, I don’t guess that matters too much right now, eh?  The Elements aren’t around to seal me back up, so that doesn’t matter.  It amazes me to think I’ve been writing this thing for almost three hours, and I’m already bored to death of it!  Twilight told me she was going to read this to make sure I was ‘doing it right’, so I’ve been stuck in this quiet room with the book all day!

I can only be stubborn for so long, so I had to write something…  Oh well, I do feel better letting all of these pent-up thoughts out.   Oh, and all that nonsense I wrote earlier about Winter Wrap-Up and the laws of nature?  Well, let’s just say I wanted to catch your eye, so sue me if you want.  I can imagine the look on your faces when this journal stops so suddenly that you hate me for not writing more.  But hey, consider this my own special brand of chaos:  Leaving you all wanting so much more!  I guess I could tell you a bit more about what’s happened since the day we all put the past behind us…

Okay, so Celestia and I have rekindled our old flame, much to Luna’s evident disgust.  Twilight and her friends are trying their best to get used to having me around, but a couple of them are having problems.  Twilight keeps trying to act like a teacher and trying to get me to do good things around the place, but I can’t really complain.  It’s nice to have somepony to vent to that isn’t Tia.

I also very quickly learned not to wander the castle at night.  You might just stumble upon a certain couple in the middle of having some midnight fun…  I shudder every time I think about that one incident where I walked…  Never mind!  Anyway, just try not to follow the noise you hear at night in this place…  What happens behind closed doors needs to STAY behind closed doors.

I think I’ve ranted on long enough about everything here in the castle.  I’ve already started using my super-special-awesome magic to help out some of the more under-the-weather areas of Equestria.  I’ve added a spring of water here and a fertile orchard there.  It’s nice to help the ponies.  I think I’m finally getting the hang of using my magic in a non-destructive way for the first time in three-thousand years.

I think Twilight’s here to see how much progress I’ve made on this thing.  Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.  I may write in you again someday, but don’t count on it!

…Did I ever mention how much I love chocolate rain?
