I would be in hospital but there aren't any after what happened . and I feel your grief for Emerald but please hundreds of ponies die everyday and your bound to lose another family member I know its tough but you need to deal with death or you wont get through this and I know you can.and please its not your time you need to stay your one of the most powerful ponies in equestria and there's only about five thousand ponies left

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle

I'm sorry I just I miss Emerald so much I just wanna visit heaven and be with her till the end of earth itself its like I can feel here beckoning me to stay with her but I know that's impossible. I have been recruited to fight so my letters will probably have long distances between each one. I'm scared I mean I want to be with emerald but I don't want to die and since the death rates are getting higher everyday I .. I don't think i'm going to survive I heard are very powerful unicorn died last week she was nearly as strong as you and if someone that strong can die that easily i'm nothing compared to the enemy

Chapter 4

Dear Bluefire

My student I have been taken in by a kind nurse her name is Flicker she found me wandering through the deserted streets and saw my bullet wounds she walked up to me asking if I was okay at first I thought she was an enemy as her lilac hair was blowing in her face I was terrified I thought she was going to kill me but then she spoke her voice was very calm and sweet I realized she wasn't one of them she didn't have red eyes and the things those creatures whatever they are can't speak well at least that's what I think. I cannot tell you my location yet as if some pony else gets hold of this letter I could be tracked down and killed but I can say that I am in safe hooves so don't worry I should be able to tell you in my next note but till then it will be kept secret
