Equestria Wars Episode XIII: Revenge of the Lunar Republic

The Lunar Republic has returned with the help of Cyber Eclipse who was Danny. With the power of the ancient weapon the Dark Forge, they will use it to revive Mephiles the Dark and spread darkness across the land of Equestria.

Danny Eclipse believed that his own brother shot his ship down and joined his dark father and became Cyber Eclipse. Many of Charming Thunder's friends and family have betrayed him as the Lunar Republic rose from the ashes and plans to find an ancient weapon called the Dark Forge. With it, darkness will spread in Equestria and Mephiles the Dark will then be reborn.

Danny's Perspective and Story

Prologue

Once upon a time in a magical land of Equestria....

Chapter 1: The Arrest and Trial

Charming Thunder, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and a green minotaur named Thrall walked through the halls of Canterlot Castle. Charming Thunder wore armor that was made by Rarity as requested. Under his hood, his face is covered by a mask which almost looked similar to a helmet he wore during the start of the Lunar Wars. They entered a room that is now pitch black as Thrall asked, "Why is the room dark?"

"I don't know; there should be ponies here," Charming Thunder replied. "Guards!!" A spotlight suddenly turned on and it pointed to the throne where Rainbow Dash sat. Her eyes stared right at him.

"Welcome home," Rainbow greeted. Suddenly, the lights turned on in the room; revealing Royal Guard Commando Droids and Droidekas surrounding them; their blasters aiming right at the four and Duran was in front of Rainbow with the other droids, his blaster aiming right at Charming's head. "Traitor!!" Charming Thunder and the others looked at the droids around them; they didn't go to their lightsabers and Thrall didn't go for his hammer.

"Traitor?"

"Don't play dumb on us, Charming!" a female voice shouted from behind the throne. Sonata and Trixie came from behind the throne with their lightsabers out. The sound of hooves came and a squad of Crystal Jedi Knights came from the door and blocked the entrance with their lightsabers in hoof.

"Charming Thunder; by order of the Alliance; you are under arrest for the attempted murder of Danny Eclipse!" Rainbow shouted.

"WHAT?!" Charming Thunder, Celestia, and Luna shouted in complete shock and in unison.

"What do you mean!?" Charming Thunder demanded. "I've been with the Princesses and Thrall this whole time! How could I be the one responsible for trying to kill Danny!? And why would you even suggest it was me!?"

"We have eye witnesses who said YOU gave the order to attack Danny's Escort Ship in attempted to kill off the 'major' threat in the world!"

"Impossible!" Celestia shouted.

"Charming, if you do not hand yourself in; we will kill on sight!" Trixie replied. "Surrender yourself by forfeiting your lightsaber and show no resistance!"

"This is outrageous!!" Luna shouted. "Charming is INNOCENT!!!"

"Charming is GUILTY!!!" Sonata shouted. "Danny might as well be on his death bed because the doctors can't heal him and his healing factor is not responding!"

"I deserve a proper trial!" Charming Thunder demanded. "Look into my memories, check the video files, everything! They will prove that I'm innocent!"

"We will see," Rainbow said.

At the trial, Celestia is about to give the verdict after going through hearing from other witnesses. She stood up and looked at Charming Thunder who looked troubled. "Charming Thunder," she said. "It does pain me to do this but you have been proven-"

Wait!!" a male voice shouted as the doors burst opened. Charming Thunder turned to the door to see Danny running in.

"Danny," Rainbow said, tears already beginning to surface.

"Charming is innocent. I had looked into the memories of the eye witnesses and learned that they were bribed into saying it was Charming who ordered the attack. The true pony behind my close to death was under a disguised."

"I should have known," Luna said, then turned to Night Thunder. "Send word to the guard at the fortress to execute those traitors." Night Thunder saluted before going out of the room. Danny found himself being hugged by Rainbow, Sonata, and Trixie. He sees Charming Thunder being hugged by Twilight, Applejack, and Sunset with happiness. He then walked up to him and offered a hoof and took it.

"Sorry for accusing you like that. But when Soundwave showed me the video fee; I was devastated. I should have known it couldn't have been you and I began to think that maybe the feed was hacked somehow."

"It's alright," Charming Thunder replied with a smile as they stopped shaking hooves. "But how are you healed?"

"Oh, that. I learned that someone had put some sort of anti-ghost bug in my mane to prevent me from healing. I managed to shake it off and destroyed it. Only a few moments after that; I found myself fully healed and went to get answers."

"It would explain why you went missing when the doctors and nurses went to examine you and found you gone."

"Some of the nurses thought they heard a dark voice and yours talking inside the room," Twilight said. "You mind explaining that?"

"Well I was talking to Unicron through the mirror," Danny replied. "So..."

"Makes sense then since that is also another way to talk to our Cybertronian Friends," Charming Thunder said.

"Well I need to relax because after the whole 'hunting down for the truth' thing had somewhat tired me. But before I go, I want to talk to Twilight, Rainbow, Applejack, and Rarity." Charming Thunder and the others nodded as he stayed behind and the others walked with Danny. Charming Thunder walked to the window and glanced out to see the town.

"Perhaps you are not guilty after all," Celestia said as she approached Charming Thunder's side. "But why would members of the Equestrian Empire want to frame you?"

"I am not sure," Charming Thunder replied. "Something is different about Danny. I'm not sure what, but I am just glad that he is alright."

"As am I." Celestia placed a hoof on Charming Thunder's shoulder as they gazed out of the window.

Chapter 2: Garrosh's Horde

At Mount Phantom, a probe droid has been sent to find a fleet commanded by Garrosh while Charming Thunder and the others observed. When it arrived, the droid began to scan around the area. It eventually found a massive fleet signal and it looked and spotted a giant fleet. "Holy Luna," Danny said. "Look at all of these ships. Garrosh really is expecting an assault. But where is Garrosh' Flagship?" The probe droid began to scan around for Garrosh's flagship and that is when it was spotted. It was massive; even bigger than the other ships.

"Look at the size of that ship!" Charming Thunder shouted. "Its firepower could equal the Super Star Destroyer!"

"I knew Garrosh was resourceful but this..." Thrall said. "This is not what I had expected."

Danny then pointed at the screen as he explained, "Garrosh's fleet is very massive but with the combination of the Equestrian Empire, Phantom Consortium, and the Horde's fleets; we could easily destroy Garrosh's fleet. We need to act immediately before Garrosh could form up and regroup his forces to launch a massive assault on our empires! We should strike while they don't know we are here!" Everyone looked around before they nodded.

"Danny is right!" Celestia shouted. "We should strike and hopefully delay Garrosh's forces before they become a true real threat to us all!"

"I'll lead the assault along with Danny!" Charming Thunder added. Danny nodded and followed him out of the room.

A massive assault fleet came out of slipstream. There were new and improved Star Destroyers, Keldabe-class Battleships, and Minotaur Frigates with the Super Star Destroyer leading the fleet. On the bridge, Danny and Charming Thunder looked at the fleet as it made their approach to Garrosh's fleet.

"Status!" Charming Thunder said.

"Weapons and shields are online, fighters are at the ready for deployment, forward shields and weapons are being boosted in power from our available power," one of the officers said.

"All ships are in position and awaiting the order to attack," another officer said.

"Begin the assault." The fleet began to advance into attack position. Newly created TIE Fighters and X-Wings began to leave the fleet to engage the enemy. Rainbow's ship; The Millennium Phoenix, was leading the TIE Fighter squadrons while Lightning's newly improved X-Wing was leading the X-Wings and Y-Wings. Danny and Charming Thunder watched as the assault happened. Garrosh's fighter assault was the old model fighters; ARC-170 Starfighters. The battle was about five to six minutes when an officer came to them.

"Sirs," the third officer said. "Apologies, but we have detected something."

"What is it?"

"An unknown ship had suddenly appeared in the sector. It has opened a transmission to Garrosh's Flagship."

"Open the transmission and don't get detected." The officer nodded and began to hack into the transmission.

"-reason why I should trust your word; stranger?" Garrosh's voice asked. That was when the completely distorted voice spoke.

"Because without my knowledge, you will fail in conquering Canterlot," the voice replied. "Besides; I'm an old enemy to the Equestrian Empire. We are after the same cause Garrosh and we can gain so much when we worked together. No ones knows nothing of my true intentions and are unaware who I am. But I'm sure that Danny will remember me. Nevertheless; I am searching for the keys to make my plan the greatest. With your aid; our faction will destroy all of our enemies."

"That does sound tempting."

"I'll give you some time to think about it. For now though; it would be in our best interest if you retreat for now and meet me in person in Sector 20 in a few weeks from now. And it would be best if you came alone with your flagship as I will come with mine."

"A-Alright."

"Excitement. I will be seeing you soon." The transmission ended.

"Sir, the ship has disappeared out of the sector in slipstream!" one of the officers reported. "The ship is still a mystery."

"Sir, Garrosh's fleet is making a retreat into slipstream and leaving the territory," the other officer reported. Charming Thunder and Danny watched as the fleet escaped. "Not only did Garrosh escaped but now... we have an enemy."

"This is bad," Charming Thunder said in worry. "We need to report it back to Celestia."

"Tell all fighters to return to the ships," Danny ordered. "Our next course will be Equestria."

"Right away, sir," an officer replied as she pushed buttons on the console in front of her.

Arriving at Canterlot, Charming Thunder made a report to Celestia about the assault and the discovery they found. "I see," Celestia said. "The assault may be a failure, but we have made a new enemy to Garrosh's cause."

"Should we go after the one who spoke to Garrosh?" Charming Thunder asked.

"If it means discovering the new threat, yes. But not yet. We will wait a few weeks from now. When the time comes, we will find out who Garrosh spoke too and go to the coordinated this mysterious voice told him to go."

"As you say." Charming Thunder turned to leave the throne room and strolled through the halls of the castle. He entered the hanger and approached his Scurrg H-6 prototype bomber. The ship had red decal with the Equestrian Empire symbol on each wing. He climbed the ladder and sat in the cockpit. He turned on the engines and began to lift off as he plotted a course to Ponyville.

Chapter 3: Return of the New Lunar Republic

It has been a few weeks since the assault on Garrosh's fleet. On Charming Thunder's personal shuttle, Charming Thunder, Danny, Celestia, Soundwave, Duran, Shining, and Spike were aboard to dock the shuttle as they see Garrosh's ship enter the sector. Another ship entered the sector as well. "Look at the size of that ship!" Charming Thunder shouted. "Its even bigger than Garrosh's Flagship!"

"I've seen that ship before," Danny said.

"You have?" Celestia asked.

"Yes. During the Lunar Wars. King Talon used it against me before I took over the Griffin Empire. It was destroyed... or, well, I thought it was."

"Negative; it was destroyed," Duran said. "This one has more advance equipment. This has Griffin, Minotaur, and Borg technology along with some other technology. This ship is so advance; it may be more than the modern technology. I've never seen such great engineering before except for the Eclipse's design and creation."

"Have we been detected?" Charming Thunder asked Soundwave. Soundwave shook his head. His tentacles were connected to the ship to allow him to fly it and he was masking it from detection. The ship began to fly to a nearby bottom port bay. The ship docked to it and the group went inside the ship. When they were inside, they began to head to the bridge. As they made their way to the elevators, Charming Thunder heard what appears to be rolling Droidekas approaching. "Get to cover." The sound came closer as Charming Thunder took a peek in the corner. "Let me handle this." After one of the Droidekas rolled past them, Charming Thunder jumped on another one of the approaching droids and grabbed its head and ripped it off. The others approached as Charming Thunder got off of the now destroyed droid.

"Just as I thought," Celestia said.

"What are Battle Droids doing here on this ship?" Spike asked. "I thought they were destroyed after the Lunar Wars."

"My thoughts as well," Danny said.

"Lets head to the elevators," Charming Thunder said. The group then continued on through the hall. The group entered an elevator and Charming Thunder pressed a button to go the bridge of the ship. "This has to be a trap. There is no way we managed to get this far without being detected."

"I sense it is a trap as well," Danny said.

"What should we do?" Celestia asked.

"We spring the trap," Danny and Charming Thunder said in unison. The elevator opens and we came aboard the bridge. Battle Droids were everywhere operating the ship. A black chair was on the command deck with two Jedi Hunter droids at each side.

"Hello?" Charming Thunder asked. The Jedi Hunter Droids turned to them and activated their lightsabers. The group see four magnaguards coming out of hiding, their staffs activated as well. Danny, Charming Thunder, and Celestia grabbed their lightsabers and activated them. Duran and Shining pulled out their blasters, ready for battle. Soundwave stood still, not moving at all. Spike pulled out his Brute Shot and readied it for use.

"Welcome to my flagship," a female voice greeted. The chair turned around to reveal Twilight Sparkle in his Pre-Nightmare form. Charming Thunder, Danny, Celestia, Shining, and Spike gasped in shock and horror. The New Lunar Republic has returned thanks to Twilight.

"H-How!?" Celestia shouted. "I sealed that form away with a hidden password!"

"Lets just say that your password wasn't so hidden," Twilight said. "I found my mother's legion of NLR droids and ships. I've been plotting against you, Celestia, since my return. And with the help of the NLR; my plan can be achieved! With Garrosh's help; Canterlot will be ours for the taking! And there is nothing you can do to stop us!"

"You forget about the Phantom Consortium and our allies!"

"Chrysalis is nothing to me, the Phantom Consortium will be a small problem but not very big, and Thrall's Horde stands no chance against me and Garrosh's combined strength. Admit it; you lost the moment you learned of our return! And this time, you will fall and witness as I take over everything!"

"But Twilight-" Shining said.

"However; I still have love to you Charming and Shining. Join me and help me bring down this corrupted government. Celestia is just using you to help her create what she calls peace. But in the end; her direction of peace will be the death of Equestria."

"You think joining the dark side will help you bring that peace!?" Charming Thunder demanded. "You are wrong and you know it!"

"You don't get it, do you Charming? All I want to do is bring down Celestia's Reign and bring about the reign of peace. And with the NLR; that can be achieved. Queen Luna was corrupted by power but I am not. I believe true peace can be achieved WITHOUT Celestia. What do you think?"

"Why without Celestia?"

"Because due to her reign; she has brought nothing but chaos. I mean; look how much have fallen under her rule. Charming is the King and Aspect of Harmony and yet; he is still her pawn to the end as you are, Danny."

"You're lying!" Celestia shouted. "I never use my subjects as pawns!"

"No! YOU are the one who is lying. You would sell out your own sister to gain what you care for most."

"Why I never-"

"No. This is over. I will take over, one way or another." The elevator doors suddenly opened revealing Super Battle Droids. The group found themselves cornered. Danny used the force to make an exit. "After them!" The group made it to their ship and began to make their escape. This was the beginning what is about to come to them.

Chapter 4: The Theft of the Tomb of Clover the Clever

A meeting was called by Charming Thunder. Ever since the Lunar Republic returned three weeks ago, the Equestrian Empire had to increase defenses around Canterlot and the Phantom Consortium along with Thrall's Horde have a fleet ready to repel any enemy attacks. When Danny and Rainbow arrived, the meeting has started. "Wonderful, let us start," Charming Thunder said.

"Care to explain why you called us so urgently, Charming?" Luna asked. Charming Thunder looked towards Cadence.

"Cadence, show the data we have recently found." Cadence pulls out a datapad, plugs it into the computer hologram and the curtains lowered as a hologram played.

"Charming, what is this?" Danny asked. "This looks like coordinates to something."

"We found some sort of device that acts like a map underneath the Crystal Empire Palace. We never noticed it before and we managed to talk to some sort of machine that told us that it was created by Mephiles and that the map leads to Mephiles' Ultimate Weapon; The Dark Forge."

"I heard of nothing about this...Dark Forge, back in the dark days of Mephiles," Celestia said.

"We talked to the machine and while his information was limited. He did tell us that the Dark Forge has a weapon known as the Dark Reanimation Control. It allows Mephiles to restore the physical bodies of the dead back to their nature in their youth and before their death. The thing about this, though, allows Mephiles to controlled the Reanimated Minions like puppets and they are forced to do it without question. And not to mention; the Dark Forge is a powerful battle station; maybe even more powerful than the Death Star."

"We can't spare resources looking for this...Dark Forge," Danny said. "We are busy protecting Equestria from the NLR and Garrosh."

"But maybe a small team can leave Equestria to look for the Dark Maps. There are five in total and we can use them to help us locate this Dark Forge."

"Then do what? You can't control the dead! Only Mephiles can!"

"I was thinking that maybe Danny could--"

"ME!!"

"Make sense since he is Mephiles' Heir," Chrysalis said.

"But what if I can't!? What then!?"

"Then we destroy it to make sure Mephiles can't use it; should he return at all," Charming Thunder replied.

"What if... what if I use Unicron's Blood; Dark Energon? I can control any machine with my will and with Unicron's domination; the Dark Forge could be used for...other means?"

Charming Thunder's medallion began to glow as Primus' voice advised, "I suggest that we don't go with your brother's plan. He might use the Dark Forge against us if he betrays us. Trust me on this."

Charming Thunder then looked at Danny and said for Primus, "No. Primus has pointed out to me that you could use the Dark Forge against us; should you turn against us." Danny got up from his chair and pounded the table with fury.

"Have I showed you no true trust brother!?" Danny shouted. "I helped you, supported you, and gave you all sorts of help and this is the thanks I get!? No trust from my own brother!?!"

"Danny-"

"NO!!! I refuse to help you track down these Dark Maps! If you don't trust me; you don't trust the alliance between the Vampony Empire and its allies! And not to mention; I'm sure the Phantom Consortium will not support you in this uproar!"

"Primus has never led me wrong."

"Oh! So you trust a Cybertronian God who is no more than your adviser than your own brother!?" Danny turned to the door. "I knew this would not work! By this action; the Vampony Empire will NOT support you for this act of distrust! I will NOT work with a King who has doubt of his relation; his brother alone!" Rainbow got up from her chair and followed him.

"Charming, as queen of the Vampony Empire, I leave Equestria with my husband," Rainbow said. "I hope you can think next time about your show of distrust."

Arriving at the Crystal Empire, Charming Thunder, Luna, Applejack, Sunset, Shining, and Dusk arrive to the Crystal Knight Temple to find the Dark Map at Clover the Clever's tomb. However, a droid control ship arrived before they did over the temple which is now on fire. "Does Twilight already know about the Dark Maps?" Charming Thunder asked.

"Impossible," Dusk said. "She would have shared that information to you. I think someone could have told her."

"Perhaps a spy was amongst our mists," Luna said.

"Are you suggesting Danny?" Charming Thunder asked.

"NO!" Dusk shouted. "My father would not feed information to the NLR!"

"Well he DID leave the alliance," Shining added. "Him and his empire disconnected themselves from Equestria. Perhaps he joined forces with the NLR."

"Don't you dare talk about my father like that or I'll kill you here and now!!"

"Is that a threat?"

"If you are going to talk about my father like that; I might as well disconnect my hive from the Alliance and end it forever! Then I'll join with the Vampony Empire and declare war on the Crystal Empire!!"

"Since when this tension and a need for violence occurred?" Sunset asked. "I mean; sure Charming didn't mean to show distrust to Danny. All he was doing was saying what Primus thought of the matter."

"Shut your mouth Sunset! Charming should have kept Primus' opinion to himself! Now look at where Charming has led this, now, poor excuse of an Alliance! The Changelings no longer support the Alliance! The Vampony Empire disconnected itself from the Alliance! Now the Crystal Empire and the Primal Changelings are on a thin thread; tension brewing and getting ready to go to war the moment the thread cut itself! And not to mention but the Alliance between the Equestrian Empire and the Phantom Consortium is on a thin thread as well! So tell me Sunset; what is your opinion on the situation! I'm pretty sure that whatever you say here and now will affect this very alliance! So please; enlighten me about your thoughts about this! I'm dying to hear them!"

"Enough!" Charming Thunder shouted. "We need to group up and do whatever we can to save what remains of our Jedi Soldiers." Danny looked at Charming Thunder and nodded. When the shuttle landed, the group ran out of the shuttle and began to look around. They see no soldier corpses but Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, and Dwarf Spider Droids. The group destroyed them and eventually made it to the entrance of the Tomb of Clover the Clever. The entrance was guarded by Super Battle Droids, Droidekas, and Magnaguards.

"Twilight is defiantly here," Shining said. "And she is, no doubt, after the Dark Map." Charming counted to three and they went into battle. It didn't take long to defeat the droids. They entered the temple to see what looked like a battle. Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, and even Droidekas were on the ground with some weird droids. The group made it to a giant room when they began to hear Twilight's voice.

"I got the data, that is just another step into winning this war," Twilight said. "So, when will the 'Spy' give you the data Charming got?"

"He already has it and transferred it to me," the distorted voice replied. "I've already gotten the last piece of the puzzle. All I need now is that data from that Dark Map and we will have all the pieces of the puzzle. And at last; I can have the location of the Dark Forge."

"And once we have the Dark Forge, we will be unstoppable."

"Correct. But it requires a power supply. Maybe the dark matter below Canterlot."

"Is that why you wanted the entire NLR and Garrosh's forces to attack there?"

"Not only that. My spy knows what we else we need. He can retrieve the object we need to free Mephiles from his cell in Tartarus. The very object that Celestia created to make sure that Mephiles NEVER returns from Tartarus. Mephiles spirit endured the spell and managed to get loose. However...Mephiles has warned me and my spy about his minion's betrayal."

"Are you referring to Arcaan?"

"Indeed. Mephiles already knows he will betray him and will, no doubt, go to Charming and warn him of my presence."

"Is he a threat."

"He knows little of Mephiles plans but his information about Mephiles' allies is quite...valuable. I think he should be terminated."

"Does he know the identity of the spy?"

"No. Mephiles has been keeping all of his allies in the dark. But enough about Arcaan; did you retrieve the remains of Clover the Clever?"

"Indeed. I transported it through the shortcut and hidden passage that was built. Her remains will be in your collection of dead Jedi Soldier corpses. I hope this weapon is not just a legend."

"It is not. My spy has reported that Charming learned that the weapon is, indeed, not a legend. Charming will realized that with this weapon being used against him; he will be facing old enemies who will be wanting revenge."

"I heard you mention something about Slade earlier. Is he one?"

"Not really. Slade may be the Son of Discord but I do not trust him. However; there is something rather...disturbing."

"What do you mean?"

"I searched for certain ponies but their remains... are not in their grave."

"Who?"

"Not of your business. Before I leave; there is something you may want to know?"

"Yes?"

"Take care of your guests that are listening on this." The transmission ended as Twilight turned to the group.

"Crud!!" Charming Thunder whispered as he and the others came out of hiding with their weapons ready. The two Jedi Hunters with Twilight grabbed their lightsabers.

"Kill them!!" Twilight shouted. The Jedi Hunters attacked them while Twilight fled to the hidden passage and closed the door and jammed the door. The group combated the two Jedi Hunters and managed to kill them. When they did, the roof began to shake.

"Twilight is going to burry us alive here!" Dusk shouted. The group began to run out of the tomb and managed to get out on time. The left the temple to see the Droid Control Ship leaving the sector and entering slipstream.

"Our enemy was always a step ahead of us," Sunset stated. "What now?"

"Now?" Charming Thunder replied. "We prepare for their arrival."

Chapter 5: The Siege of Canterlot

Arriving at Castle Lunar, Charming Thunder approached a guard who was standing in front of the door. He then stopped and said, "I wish to see Danny." The guard entered Danny's chambers as Charming Thunder waited patiently.

The guard returned and said, "He will not be seeing you after that show of disrespect you showed him."

"Well tell him that I insist to see him. Canterlot is under threat and there may be a pony behind the invasion of Canterlot; the one who is the true mysterious leader of the NLR and Garrosh’s forces." The guard entered the throne room once again to tell Danny what Charming Thunder said.

The guard then returned and said, "He will see you and he also warns you that you are treading on a dangerous path by coming here without an invitation." Charming Thunder rolled his eyes as he entered the throne room with two vampony guards behind him. He sees Danny sitting on his throne next to Rainbow.

The guards closed the doors behind him as Rainbow warned, "It was unwise of you to leave Equestria, Charming. Here, on our territory and ground, no law protects you from our wrath."

"I had to come here anyhow," Charming Thunder replied. "I am already informed that you know about what had transpired at the Crystal Knight Temple?" Danny nodded. "Then you are aware about the invasion approaching?"

"Indeed," Danny said. "But I do not tend to help you."

"Why!? Equestria is your home! Why won’t you defend it from the NLR and Garrosh’s forces!?"

"Equestria is my former home. You forget that when I became the Lord of the Lunar Clan that I had to leave Equestria behind. As long as the NLR don’t come here, my home is safe."

"Celestia take it Danny! Danny; you must see reason! If the NLR and Garrosh’s forces take Canterlot, Equestria will fall! Who is to say that Equestria will be the last stop!? Maybe the Crystal Empire! Maybe even Castle Lunar!"

"So what if Equestria falls? It fell to the NLR and many other nations yet the Equestrian Empire survived. The Equestrian Empire has proven many times before that it could pass through anything the universe can throw at it. And besides; I know Twilight all too well; she won’t kill you, she’ll spare you, Sunset, and Applejack. She’ll probably corrupt the three of you into becoming members of the NLR. Oh, wait…she can’t corrupt you so easily. But Applejack and Sunset can."

"So that is it? You won’t help your own family and brother?"

"Says the brother that trusted his cybertronian adviser than his own brother."

"I didn’t mean to make it sound like I didn’t trust you! I was stating Primus’ opinion!"

"Oh, so we are now allowing our cybertronian advisers have a say in the matter? Hey Unicron, what do you think of this?" Danny listened to Unicron as Charming Thunder waited. "I couldn’t agree more. Unicron said to you, Charming, that you are nothing but a big pain in the flank." Charming Thunder growled with frustration.

"I can't believe he said that," Primus said.

"You know, maybe Shining was right. Maybe you ARE the Spy. Or possibly, you ARE the one leading the NLR." Danny's eyes narrowed and made an expression of pure rage. He turned to Charming Thunder and punched him out of the door. The door slung open and Charming Thunder was sent flying away and crashed into the floor. Danny came out of the room glowing purple.

"Care to repeat that Charming!?"

"I said you are a coward!" Danny grabbed Charming Thunder by the neck and teleported up to the top of the castle and held him with his Force grip. He couldn’t resist do to the fact that his powers is far more stronger than his.

"You may be my brother…but no pony, and I repeat, NO PONY, dare calls me a coward without being beaten to near death." Danny began to fire lightning at Charming Thunder. He screamed in pain but Danny didn’t stop there. He created two clones and they came up to him and began to punch and kick him. When they finished, they entered inside Danny and performed a Ghostly Wail that sent Charming flying straight through the outer tower. He teleported in Charming Thunder's path, grabbed him, and made him hold his current position while he summoned his Dark Star Saber and began to slice and slash at him. After five minutes of slashing, Charming Thunder was completely bloody. Danny then grabbed him and puts a letter in his bag and teleported him out of his sight.

At Canterlot castle, preparations were still being made for the upcoming invasion as Princess Cadence oversees the progress. A flash came from behind her and turned to see Charming Thunder all scarred up. She rushed to him and asked, "What happened?"

"D-Danny did this," Charming Thunder said weakly. Cadence helped him up and walked him to a room for him to lay down and heal.

Three days later, preparations have finally been made and Charming Thunder's wounds from Danny have been healed. Danny came to Canterlot to apologize to Charming Thunder as he apologized to his brother for insulting him. Cadence slapped Danny in the face before him and his brother apologized. They didn't know that the shields surrounding the castle were down and Charming Thunder along with Danny, Applejack, Rainbow, Rarity, Cadence, and Celestia got ready as they heard explosions coming from the door. The doors burst open and Twilight comes into the room along with Shadow Troopers and Shining Armor who wore Shadow Guard armor with our the helmet. Cadence was shocked to see her husband siding with the enemy and demanded, "Shining!? Why!?"

"My place is with the new empire evolving!" Shining replied. "A new empire of old!"

"What do you mean?" Charming Thunder demanded.

"He is referring to my master's empire; the Cyber Alliance," Twilight replied. "An empire so vast and powerful that even the Equestrian Empire would have no chance against it!"

"What do you mean!?" Celeste shouted.

"Twilight is leader of the NLR," Shining explained. "But she isn't the lord of the Cyber Alliance. That would be Lord Cyber himself with Twilight and the Nightmares as his Cyber bosses." Rarity, Rainbow, and Applejack left the group and walked up to Twilight. They then turned around to reveal their Nightmare Moon looking eyes and smirked.

"Rainbow!?" Danny shouted. "But why!?"

"Danny, I remembered my NLR past and I still love you," Rainbow said. "I didn't want to hurt you in the past; please don't make me do it again."

"R-Rainbow..."

"Please." Danny sighed and nodded then walked up to her. Rainbow smiled and hugged her. Now Charming Thunder was shocked.

"Danny!?" Charming Thunder shouted in denial. "But why!?"

"I-I'm sorry," Danny said as he looked at Rainbow and smiled at her. "But I cannot bear losing Rainbow Dash. I love her so much and her begging makes me hurt inside." He then looked back at Charming Thunder. "It isn't too late for you to join us Charming and everypony. Please...join us brother." Charming Thunder stood his ground and shook his head.

"My place is with Celestia and Luna. I will NOT leave the Equestrian Empire."

"I hate to break it to you, Charming, but Queen Luna has returned to the surface world and is currently on her way to the base," Twilight said.

"What!?" Celestia shouted. "My sister would never-"

"Oh please," Rarity said. "Like she would stay with us when a far more superior empire. This is your last chance to join us Charming...or will die as Celestia's pawn." Charming Thunder didn't move making Twilight and Applejack sigh with disappointment.

"So be it, Charming," Danny said. "You will be missed." Danny fired a Ecto-Energy Ball at the roof and it began to collapse from the ceiling and began to fall on top of them. Before it could, four red crystal pillars spawned from the ground and created a red crystal platform above Charming Thunder. A teal aura surrounded the debris to support it. When the impact didn't happened, Charming Thunder and the others opened their eyes and looked to see what had happened. Everyone gasped as they saw three figures coming out of the shadows and another figure levitated down to the ground. The three figures were none other than a reborn Starswirl, Amidala, and a new looking Sombra. The other figure was none other than Silver. They looked at them before Danny and the others began to make our escape while the NLR personal stayed behind to attack.

"Mother?!" Charming Thunder shouted as tears began to fall out of his eyes. "Father?!"

"Starswirl?!" Celestia shouted. "But how?"

"I'll explain later," Sombra said. "For now we need to deal with these guys." Charming Thunder nodded and stood beside his father and ignited his lightsaber and everyone began to take down the NLR forces.

Danny and the others arrived a Fury class Straighter and began to board it as they made their escape. A squad of Equestrian troops arrived to the platform and began to fire at the fleeing ship as it began to take off. A squadron of TIEs pursued the starfighter as it made its escape, but it was too late when the ship made the jump.

Back in the throne room, Charming Thunder was pinned to the wall by an arm of a B2 Grapple Droid as he struggled to break free from his grasp. A red crystal pierced through the droid's chest and released Charming Thunder as he caught his breath. Sombra helped him up as he thanked him for the save. Celestia finished off the Magnaguard droid which wrapped up the fight. Cadence looked out the window to see the droids making a full retreat. "Looks like that wraps things up," she said. A commander entered the room as he and the squad made a sweep of the area.

"Your highnesses, we heard a commotion coming from the throne room, but it looks like you had it under control," the commander said.

"So what happens now?" Celestia said.

"Now we prepare for war," Sombra said.

Chapter 6: Clover Returns

Starlight meditated in her chambers as a familiar voice echoes in her head. She opened her eyes and looked around to find the source then continued to meditate. The voice spoke again and said, "Starlight, why did you leave?" An image of a yellow-orange stallion stood behind her as she did not bother to turn around. "Where were you when I needed you?"

"I was jealous when you got your cutie mark," Starlight replied. "I couldn't stay."

"You were selfish."

"Not anymore."

"You abandoned me. YOUR BEST FRIEND!! Do you even know what I have become?" An evil laugh which barely sounded like Danny's was then heard as tears began to roll down Starlight's cheeks.

"No. NO!!" Starlight activated her lightsaber and turned around, but found nothing. She could not believe who's voice was heard from years ago. She deactivated her lightsaber as Charming Thunder entered the room.

"Everything alright?" Charming Thunder asked. "I just heard you scream."

"N-Nothing. Just a vision." Charming Thunder sighed and stepped up closer to Starlight.

"It was about him again, was it?"

"Yes." Charming Thunder sighed and placed a hoof on her shoulder.

"I know how it felt to lose someone you cared about. Even a best friend. My wife Sunset left when I was a young colt. She was obsessed about the secrets of a mirror that banished the sirens." He then walked past Starlight and gazed out of the window. "I'm sure that wherever he is, he will be happy to see you." Charming Thunder turned holding the hilt of his lightsaber. "Shall we clear your mind with training?" Starlight nodded as she activated her lightsaber.

Geo's fleet encountered the enemy fleet of three Interdictor cruisers, two Centurion cruisers, and a Hammerhead cruiser leading them. The officers attempted to hail the enemy while Geo waited for a response. A hologram of a pony wearing Dark Jedi robes and carried a lightsaber and a pistol. She had a pure white coat, green and dark green mane and tail, and had violet eye color. The Leader was none other than Clover the Clever, an old friend of Starswirl the Bearded during the Discord Wars. Geo was surprised and greeted, "Clover the Clever...I never pictured it would be you leading this attack."

"Faith has brought us to cross paths in battle," Clover said. "My master; Cyber Eclipse, gave me orders to destroy you."

"You know this isn't right."

"I know, but I'm bounded to Cyber's power thus I cannot hold him at bay. I hope you survive this battle." When the transmission ended, the enemy ships began to open fire at Geo's fleet. Two KT-400 carriers made their way to Geo's ship in secret and when they arrived; they landed in their landing bays and deployed their droid forces inside. The stormtroopers attempted to halt them but the droids activated shield generators to protect them from harm. All blaster attacks were deflected away and the droids began to wipe down enemy forces. The shuttle made it to the lead ship after its Defense Mainframe Core was destroyed by the droids. Clover and the Saber Guard killed off any surviving stormtroopers and began to head to the bridge.

Geo and his forces were still on the bridge and are armed and ready to face against the upcoming forces. Soon enough, the door opened and eighty droids began to flood the bridge with their shield generators online. Geo and his forces opened fire, but their blaster fire bounced harmlessly off the shields around the droids. The droids began to kill off everyone except for Geo himself. Geo attempted to attack with melee but he found himself pushed away and onto the ground. He looks up and sees Clover and her Saber Guard. "Get me cuffs for him," Clover ordered. "And get the Engineer Droids up here to pilot this ship." Geo pulled out a smoke grenade and threw it. Smoke filled this room and when it disappeared; Geo was no where in sight. "Sixty of you, go find him! The remaining will stay and protect the bridge!" The droids left the bridge to go after Geo. Geo arrived at the hangar and boarded a TIE Fighter and flew out of the hangar.

Charming Thunder heard about Geo's report to the princesses about Clover siding with the enemy and that his ship has been taken by her droids. As Charming Thunder was getting some shut eye, he woke up in the dream world with Geo, Celestia, Cadence, Sombra, Amidala, and Starswirl in a grass field with the sky being black. Suddenly; grass began to go to the ground as it formed a figure. There was a glow of purple on the ground as an evil laughter filled the air. "I know that laugh anywhere," Sombra said with realization. "Show yourself!" A black mist appeared in front of the group and the mist turns into Mephiles the Dark. When the process ends, he looks at the group.

"Well, well, well; aren't you a sight for sore eyes!" Mephiles greeted. "King Sombra and Princess Celestia; my old pals!"

"Mephiles the Dark; what do you want from us?" Celestia asked. Mephiles appears next to Celestia and wraps an arm around her neck

"Don't play dumb Princess. You knew I'd be back." Mephiles pokes Celestia's muzzle and teleported to be in front of the group. "You think sealing me in Tartarus would stop what I have plan? I've been making deals, chatting with old friends, getting ready for the big day. You can't keep that key rift safe forever." He snapped his left hand fingers and an object appeared above his left hand floated an object. "You'll slip up and when you do...." He grabs the object and smashed it to the ground; causing a fire and a massive beam to appear behind Mephiles.

"Why are you taunting us!?" Charming Thunder demanded.

"My newest minion; Cyber, is hell-bent into getting that object to free his own father from his cell in exchange for his life. You are going to find that he will succeed in where you, Celestia, had failed."

"Get out of here!!" Sombra shouted. "You have no dominion on our world!!"

"Maybe not right now but things change King Sombra. Things...change!" Mephiles laughs as he floating up into the sky and that was when the dream ended.

Chapter 7: Terror Army Attack

It has been a few days since the taunt from Mephiles in the dream world. Charming Thunder was informed that the blockade runner that carried Amidala and Sunset Shimmer was attacked by Cyber's fleet. Sombra became so angry he blew up a small section of Canterlot Castle with his red crystals and magic. Remembering that scene made Charming Thunder afraid that he might turn dark again, but he had complete faith in his father. At least Sunset Shimmer escaped and told Celestia the location of the enemy base. Now, Charming Thunder was on a shuttle about to board his Super Star Destroyer along with Geo. The shuttle landed in the hangar and the ramp lowered as Charming Thunder and Geo walked down. As they walked down the hallway to the bridge, the ship began to shake as an explosion was heard. Charming Thunder knew that there was trouble at the bridge. They both rushed to the bridge as more explosions were heard. Charming Thunder's comlink went off as a voice of a soldier said, "We are under attack at the med bay!! Send help!! Wait. What the hell is that? Ahhharg!! Get it off me!" The transmission ended as they arrive at the doors to the med bay. The doors looked damaged and cannot open in that condition. Charming Thunder used his magic to slowly open the door. When the door was halfway opened, a spider-like droid and mounts on Charming Thunder. He struggled to get it off as Geo tried to get a clear shot on it. He shot the droid and it collapsed off of Charming Thunder and to the ground. He then opened the door and encountered swarms of spider droids in the room.

"Why does it have to be spiders?" Charming Thunder said. He then activated his lightsaber and began to cut down some droids while Geo fired his blaster at the rest. Once the room was cleared, they exited the medbay and arrived at the doors to the bridge.

"The controls to the door are jammed," Geo said as he tried to open the door with the terminal next to it.

"On it." Charming Thunder used his magic to once again open the door and entered the bridge with corpses of troops on the floor. Charming Thunder then sees Starlight knocked out on the ground and rushes on over to her. "Starlight?" Starlight's eyes slowly slid open as she was happy to see him.

"Charming? I'm glad to see you. Something terrible has happened to Sunset."

"Where is she?"

"She's probably being taken back to the hangar." A soldier appeared from the shadows and aimed his arm to fire his stun gun. Starlight was quick enough to notice and stood in front of Charming Thunder and deflected the shot. The soldier cloaked and disappeared into the shadows in the room. Charming Thunder began to search the area for the soldier while Geo and Starlight stood watch at the door.

"You think darkness is your ally. But you merely adopted the dark. I didn't see the light until I was already a stallion, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!" Charming Thunder grabbed the soldier's arm and threw him down to the ground. He then grabbed his neck as he readied his hoof for a punch. "The shadows betray you, because they belong to me!" He then punched the soldier in the face and knocked him out cold. He then turned to the others and said, "Have a cell ready for him." Geo saluted as he walked over to the downed soldier. "I'll go find Sunset and her kidnapper."

"Charming," Starlight said as Charming Thunder was about to leave. "Be careful." He nodded as he left the bridge and made his way to the hangar.

Arriving at the hangar, Charming Thunder sees the ship which appears to be the Ebon Hawk about to take off. He tried to rush over and try to board it, but it was too late as it left the hanger. "NOOO!!" he shouted. He then took out his comlink and contacted Geo at the bridge. "It was Phantom Lord who took my wife."

"It's too late to go after him," Geo replied. "We've got bigger problems."

"What do you mean?"

"There is something here. Something big." Charming Thunder heard clattering sound coming from behind. He turned to see a giant droid standing in front of him. The droid roared and fired its laser at Charming Thunder. He was quick enough to make a magic shield to block the attack. He stood his ground as the droid approached him still firing. He suddenly fired lightning at the droid not with his horn, but with his hoof. He then charged at the droid and threw his lightsaber to cut down one of its legs then jumped on its head to stab it a few times and chop off its weapons. He chopped off another leg as he jumped off and landed in front of the droid. It attempted to attack Charming Thunder with its chopped off leg, but was stopped when Charming Thunder used the force to stop the attack and lift it off the ground. He then crushed the droid and brought it down. As it came down, he leaps in the air and used his Star Saber to slice it in half and land on the ground in the middle of the pieces. He puts away his sword and looked at his hoof for a brief moment as he was amazed with what he did to defeat the giant droid. "You there, Charming Thunder?"

"Relax, Geo. I'm still alive."

"Oh, good. What's with the commotion I heard?"

"That was the big droid you warned me about."

Chapter 8: The Battle of the Temple

The next day, Charming Thunder called Geo, Celestia, Sombra, Starswirl, Chrysalis, Meta, Octavia, Lightning, and Brutalight for a briefing to discuss how they should take down the Gravity Field to allow their fleet to get into the sector where the Dark Forge was finally located. "Since none of our ships can't get close to the Dark Forge, our primary objective will be to take over the temple," Geo explained.

"Thanks to Vanguard's recon, we have learned that the temple is heavily defended," Charming Thunder added. "And since our ships can't get through the field, vehicles is out of the question."

"So our solution will be speeders. Their very fast and quick attackers. We believe it will take a moment for the enemy to realize that they were ever attacked. Now, these clankers have some tough armor but its the shields you should be worried about. Their shields make them about to take our those with blasters with ease."

"So how will we be able to counter them if they have that type of technology?" Celestia asked.

"I theorized that maybe, just maybe, they aren't so strong against those with melee weapons. Magic is pointless against them but maybe the force may have an effect on them."

"Alright, what's next?" Chrysalis asked.

"When the gravity field is down, our united fleets with enter the sector and Charming will lead a strike team to board the Dark Forge and get back our ponies and get out before the Star Destroyers can destroy the Dark Forge's main stabilizers."

"Who will that team be?" Meta asked.

"Geo, myself, Starlight, Celestia, Starswirl, Sombra, Meta, Silver, Shadow, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Phantom Lord," Charming Thunder replied.

"Phantom Lord?" Chrysalis asked. "I thought he was against us."

"He is doing this because he's in debt to me. So, he will be joining us."

"Anyone we should be aware of while we are in there?" Sombra asked.

"Well... there is an old friend of Sombra and Starswirl with Cyber," Geo said nervously.

"Who?" Starswirl asked.

"....Clover the Clever." Starswirl had an expression of shock and disbelief. Sombra had the same expression, but he looked like all color left him.

"She... was my old apprentice. But she was killed during the Discord Wars..."

"I will inform you that she is currently against her will but maybe if we get Cyber to come to his senses that Mephiles is using him, Danny will return in place of Cyber to help us and release all of his enslaved undead minions."

"Won't work very well there," a mysterious but familiar voice said out loud. Everyone in the room turned to see Phantom come inside.

"What do you mean?" Celestia asked.

"Cyber is more powerful than Danny ever was. If I had to guess, I would say that those cybernetic upgrades and the Dark Energon boost is more than just that. His control over the dark side and dark magic had further increased so it is safe to assume that something happened that caused him to grow even more powerful. Besides, he's more machine than pony with a heart made of steel and evil wrapped around a cloth of dark energy. When I confronted him, I could feel his dark power, his very might. He's stronger, more powerful, its going to take more than just me and Charming to defeat him."

"Once we rescue Twilight and the others from his control, we can all confront him with the EOI. Together, even he will find it hard to defeat."

"Lets hope with our combine power, Cyber will be defeated with ease," Brutalight said.

"Remember though, only with our combine power can we triumph against him."

A large group of speeders led by Charming Thunder, Geo, and Starlight made their approach to the temple. "Target spotted," Charming Thunder reported. "Estimated arrival; thirty seconds at current speed."

"The Cyber Alliance had its winning streak, now its our turn," Geo added. Beeping appeared on all of their helmets and Charming Thunder looked behind him, seeing fifty fireballs flying over them. It was clearly heading towards the temple to land ahead of it.

"What?" Starlight said. "Why weren't we told we were receiving reinforcements?"

"Message from the Phantom Consortium. Turns out there was a hacker that hacked into their satellite and took all fifty of their SPARTAN units. It's the enemy."

"Ten seconds!!" Charming Thunder said. Upon arrival, the droids at the temple along with the SPARTAN forces opened fire. Charming Thunder jumped off his speeder and it crashed into some SPARTANs and droids and he pulled out his lightsaber. Several troopers parked their speeders, got off them, and began to fight. When the enemy was defeated, he began to charge at the SPARTAN Commando. The commando fired a blaster bomb at Charming Thunder, sending him back. Geo pulled out a blaster pistol and shot the commando right between the optics. The commando attempted to attack him but Charming Thunder cut him in half and his arms. The droid fell to the ground and Geo deactivated the ray shield protecting the entrance and Charming Thunder, Geo, and Starlight began to make their way inside.

Charming Thunder, Geo, and Starlight arrived at the top of the temple and see a unicorn bat pony-looking creature guarding the controls of the Gravity Field. Charming Thunder recognized her in a second. It was Sunset Shimmer in her demon form. She turned to face the three with a smirk on her face. "Charming, I knew you'd come for me," Sunset greeted. "Danny, or Cyber for that matter, thought you might be afraid to enter the temple due to it being one of many places of the dark side but he doesn't know you like I do. Not anymore. Not since you've changed."

"Quickly Sunset, come with us!" Starlight shouted. "We have to escape before Cyber arrives!"

"Escape?" Sunset laughed for a little bit. "You don't understand. I have sworn allegiance to Lord Cyber and the Cyber Alliance. I am no longer a pawn of Celestia."

"No, Sunset!" Charming Thunder shouted. "Don't go back to the dark side! I lost you once, don't make me lose you again..."

"You say that as if the dark side is some terrible entity. Celestia has brainwashed you like all the others. Like she once did with me. She speak of the dark side as if it was something to be feared. But in reality, her only goal is to manipulate those who are strong in magic. The dear of the dark side is a tool to maintain control. Why do you think Celestia forbid Revan from joining the Discord Wars? She knew he would realize his true potential and break free of her domination. Danny has shown me how Celestia has been using me the same way she once tried on Revan, or even you. She's been holding me back because she knew one day I would surpass them all!"

"No!!! I don't believe it! How could you betray us like this, Sunset?"

"I resisted at first. I endured the dark torments with the passionless serenity of a true Jedi, emptying my mind. But after a time of endless torture, I finally saw the truth. Danny forced me to acknowledge my anger and pain. He showed me the liberation power of these emotions. Then he made me see how Celestia denied me what is mine by right! Celestia knew that thanks to your training; both me and Twilight could perform Battle Meditation. And Celestia gladly used my Battle Meditation in her wars, like Twilight, but she still treated me like a child - like an inferior. She was jealous of my power... of what I could become! She wanted me to bow and call her master and follow her code and obey her every order. But all the while she was exploiting my Battle Meditation for her own use!"

"Don't be lured in by these dark lies, Sunset! You are better than this..."

"Lies? You are the one living a lie, Charming. Celestia made you into something you are not; she programmed you to be her slave. You used to be Charming, King of Harmony that was never bounded to Celestia, but no longer. You are simple a pawn to Celestia and the Equestrian Empire she serves...like I was until Danny freed me from her shackles. A pity, really. That the power you once had with the dark side is no longer in you. You could have been strong as I am now... stronger, even. But that will never happen, now. With the power of the Dark Forge; Danny will destroy Celestia and conquer the world. And I will be the loyal minion at his side after I prove my worth by capturing you!" Sunset fires a lightning spell at them. Charming Thunder raises a shield and protects him and his comrades from the attack. Starlight goes to the offensive as well as Geo. Geo fires some spells at Sunset; who deflected them away. Sunset force pushes Starlight into the wall and she falls to the ground. Geo fires a couple of blaster bullets at Sunset but she blocks them and deflects one at Geo's blaster; knocking it away from him. Charming Thunder goes to the charge and they began a lightsaber duel combat. Charming Thunder and Sunset was at a stalemate until Charming Thunder fires a lightning spell at Sunset and pins her to the ground. Sunset, with no other option, uses Force Repulsion and pushes Charming Thunder back. Geo and Starlight came to Charming Thunder's side while he gets up. Sunset gets up as well and looks at him.

"Give up, Sunset. You can't beat us all."

"You are stronger than I would have thought possible. After what Celestia did to you. It would seem that Danny was wrong. The power of the dark side is not lost to you after all, Charming."

"You are wrong Sunset. I casted away that power and now; I draw my power from the light now, Sunset."

"You can deny what you are, Charming, but you are only fooling yourself. I know the truth. I have seen the shadows inside your mind. Remember; I was there when you unleashed the power of the dark side when you were no more than a foal. It proved that you were a relative to Sombra. I remember it all and it was my magic that made you calm down and preserve your light, Charming. We are forever linked by my actions on that!"

"That is how I know you will come back to the light."

"These are not your true feelings, Charming. You are speaking as a tool of Celestia as I once did. But now I see how Celestia used us both! Celestia tried to exploit the bond between us. She hoped I would draw out your feelings to me so she would have better control over us. We were slaves to her will like all who followed Celestia! But in our shared visions of magic, I also felt the so called taint of dark magic within you. I resisted it at first, but now I embraced the power of the dark side. Your dark side!"

"Learn from my mistakes. It is not too late to come back to the light!"

"Mistakes? No Charming, the only mistake you are making is the one you are making now! You deny yourself the power that is yours by right! Only now do I realize how strong you are. You deserve to be the true King of Equestria, not Celestia and Luna. I see this now. Together; we can destroy Celestia with Danny and the Cyber Alliance. Join with us and we can reclaim your lost power!"

"I'm not like the past me anymore," Charming Thunder whispered. "I don't even remember those days."

"Your mind was too badly traumatized to ever fully restore your past memories, Charming. But your power, your strength of will, the essence of who and what you are; these things still remain! Once long ago, Revan defied Celestia, freeing himself from her control. You can do the same, Charming! You can claim your rightful title as King of Harmony and Equestria. Together; we can defeat Celestia and take back what is yours!"

"Turn away from this path, Sunset. The Dark Side leads only to destruction!"

"Sunset, it is not too late for you to be saved," Starlight added. "The teachings of the Jedi can lead you from the dark side back into the light and a true understanding of magic and the Force."

"You are beneath my contempt, Starlight," Sunset replied. "When you felt the power of the dark side, you fled to a cave like some cowering animal! You know nothing of magic or the Force or its true potential!" Her gaze returned to Charming Thunder. "But you Charming, the power of the dark side is yours to command! You can use it to destroy Celestia! With my help, you can rule Equestria and work alongside with the Cyber Alliance!"

"I am no longer that darker entity for that entity is long dead," Charming Thunder said. "With the teachings of the Jedi Masters that taught me everything I know together, I would have never become a true servant of the light now."

"You are a pathetic fool, Charming! Together; we could have defeated Celestia and ruled over Equestria, but now I will be at Danny's side instead! You will be crushed with Celestia and all the fools who bow down to her! No one can stand against the power of the Dark Forge and the Cyber Alliance!" Sunset attempted to strike at Charming Thunder, but he grabbed her with his Force Grip. He began to tap into his powers of the Elements of Harmony and he fired the Harmony Rainbow from his horn at Demon Sunset. It struck her and she began to cry out in pain as dark energy began to leave her body and return to the Dark Forge. When the process ended, Sunset landed on the ground with a 'thud' and Geo went past her to deactivate the Gravity Field. When he finished, he took out his personal holotransmitter and activated it.

"The Gravity Field is down; send in the assault force," Geo reported. "Have Charming's ship sent down here and tell Celestia that we have recovered Sunset." Octavia nodded and the transmission ended. Everyone looked up as a massive fleet of all sorts of capital ships came out of slipstream. Charming Thunder carried the unconscious Sunset as his shuttle touched down and boarded it. The final battle has just begun.

Chapter 9: The Nightmare Sisters vs the Heroes of the Light

Charming Thunder's shuttle flew safely through the enemy fleet and arrive at the Dark Forge. Its defenses opened fire and the shuttle took evasive action. It then stopped firing and the shuttle safely docked in the station's hangar bay. Charming Thunder and the rest of the team exited the shuttle and sees three Saber Guards arrive in the hangar. Charming Thunder, Celestia, and Sombra took on each of the guards. The fight took about five minutes and the room was clear. "I welcome you to the Dark Forge," a voice said on the speaker. "My name is Cyber Eclipse; formally known as Danny Eclipse, and I am the ruler of the Station. I see the players have been arranged."

"Say what?" Geo said.

"So he knows we're here," Phantom said. "He could be lurking anywhere in the station, waiting for us."

"I'm delighted you come all this way to see me," Cyber continued. "Shall we play a round of Tartarus' Game?"

"I don't want to play your games!" Charming Thunder shouted.

"What do you mean Cyber?" Sunset asked.

"The rules are really quite simple," Cyber replied. "I wish to free Mephiles from his prison. If I succeed, the Gates of Tartarus will open, crowning my victory. However, if you manage to find a way to stop me, you will be the winners of the game. To make things a little more interesting, I've enlisted three knights to battle on my behalf as well as the Nightmare Sisters."

"Three Knights and the Nightmare Sisters?" Phantom replied. "We know who the Nightmare Sisters are, but who are the Three Knights?"

"The only way to get to me is if you can defeat them. In other words; seven to thirteen battle royal. And there is one more surprise, Admiral Octavia is planning to use her Star Destroyers to destroy the Dark Forge stabilizer, resulting to the destruction of the Dark Forge. At this very moment; the Star Destroyers are slowly making their way to the stabilizers as we speak. And all contact outside this station is disabled. There is no telling how much time left. Should they destroy the main stabilizer, total annihilation, no players left to win... Game Over."

"What kind of mess up game is this!?" Starlight demanded.

"That makes no sense to me," Celestia said. "Why would Octavia go to such extreme measures?"

"Now then, let the game begin." The group began to run out of the hangar bay chopping down droids and Saber Guards in their path.

Charming Thunder and his allies have been running around the station for thirty minutes and arrived into a certain chamber and see it was a massive room. In the center of the room of a massive hologram of the Dark Forge and the visual of the assault fleet as well as the defense fleet. The room was not empty however. Meditating in front of the hologram, in front of the door the team opened, was none other than Twilight. She was meditating until she stopped and got up, turned around to them, and smirked. "Charming, I knew you'd come for me," Twilight greeted.

"I'll never give up on you, Twilight," Charming Thunder replied. "I know you can be saved, just like how we saved Sunset." Suddenly, Rarity, Rainbow, and Applejack came from behind the hologram and came to them.

"You are wasting your time," Rarity said. "We have seen Celestia for what she is; weak and afraid. Charming, you are the true King of Equestria. You have forgotten that you are the son of King Sombra."

"Now you must pay the price," Applejack added. "Here on the Dark Forge, the power of the dark side is at its strongest. This time you will not win!" Twilight used her force powers and put Geo, Sombra, Starswirl, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Silver, and Shadow into stasis while the others were unaffected. The Nightmare Sisters pulled out their lightsabers. Several beams of purple lightning hit the Nightmare Sisters; fueling them with power. Charming, Phantom, and Sunset pulled out their lightsabers and they began to fight. Charming had blocked and countered Nightmare Twilight. Phantom took on Nightmare Rainbow, Celestia took on Rarity, and Sunset took on Applejack. Charming Thunder blocked another attack and both Twilight and Charming Thunder used a Lightning Spell and they were equal, but Twilight began to increase power and it pushed Charming Thunder back and hits the bottom of the floor.

Phantom blocked an attack from Rainbow. He does a backflip and fires Force Lightning at her. Rainbow blocked the attack and reflected it back at him; causing him to hit the wall. Phantom gets up and charges. He crosses blades with Rainbow and knocked her lightsaber away and he used Force Push on the ground; knocking Rainbow off the ground. Next, Phantom uses Force Push at Rainbow, causing her to hit the roof and fall down to the ground, unarmed.

Celestia pulled a Lightning Spell from Rarity. She then fires a Magic Bolt at Rarity; causing her to deflect it away. She took her chance and came in the charge and knocked Rarity into the table of the hologram image of the Dark Forge.

Sunset was locked in Applejack; both were pushed at their hardest but was having a hard time winning. Finally; Sunset used a soft Force Push at Applejack, causing her to go off balance and she took Applejack’s lightsaber and went into a killing blow position to Applejack; her lightsaber behind her neck and Sunset’s lightsaber at Applejack’s throat.

Charming Thunder was pushed back by Twilight; who was winning. Before Twilight could lend a knocking blow, a blaster bolt hit Twilight's lightsaber away and Charming looked; seeing Phantom holding one of his blaster pistols. Charming Thunder took this chance and used his magic to push Twilight away. Then; he jumped up to his comrades. The Nightmare Sisters except Applejack grouped up and looked at the Heroes of the Light. "I see now why Celestia brainwashed you," Rainbow said. "Even though you are only a shell of your former self, you are still a formidable opponent. I can’t even imagine the power you must have wielded when you were back then. You were a fool to give it all up and follow the light side."

"I am as strong in the light as I ever was following the dark side," Charming Thunder replied.

"The dark side made us stronger than we ever was before!" Twilight said. "We have a greater command of the Force than all but you and Cyber."

"As Cyber teaches us the greatest secrets of the Sith, we will unlock more of our potential," Rarity added. "Eventually; there will be no limit to what we can accomplish with the Force!"

"Cyber will never let you become that powerful," Celestia replied. "He will kill you first."

"Have you forgotten the ways of the Sith already, Celestia?" Applejack asked. "Eventually, we will challenge our master. If we are worthy, he will die by our hoof and we will become the new Sith Master."

"Then we will take on our own apprentices and the cycle will begin again," Twilight added. "This is the way of the Sith, it is how we assure our leaders are always the strongest and most worthy!"

"You’re dooming yourselves to an endless cycle of death and betrayal," Charming Thunder said.

"No, Charming," Rarity shouted. "It is you who is doomed!" Once again, several beams of purple lightning shot at the Nightmare Sisters. Twilight force pushes Sunset away from Applejack. Then, all four sisters attempted to use Force Lightning against the four heroes. Charming Thunder raises a shield to block it. The Nightmare Sisters fire their united Force Lightning against the shield. The shield held the pressure. Soon, their attack died down and Charming Thunder threw his wall at them and they fall to the ground. They slowly get up; looking clearly injured.

"You are growing weary," Twilight shouted. " I can sense it! Your strength falters, the light side is failing you while the power of the Dark Forge re-energizes us! Soon, this will all be over!"

"I have not faltered, Twilight," Charming Thunder replied. "You have been misled by the dark side."

"The Dark Side will always triumph over the light!" Rarity shouted. "Cyber has assured us of victory! You can’t defeat us here on the Dark Forge! YOU CAN’T!!" Once more, several beams of purple lightning hit them. The Nightmare Sisters began to hover over the ground and they fired unleashed a mighty Force Push. Phantom gets in front of Charming Thunder.

"Enough!!!" Phantom shouted. Phantom manages to catch it and he threw it back at them. The Nightmare Sisters attempted to catch it but it was all failure. They fell to the ground; completely weak from that counter attack.

"No, this is not possible!" Twilight shouted. "You have rejected the dark side, you are weak and pathetic servant of the light! How can you still stand against us? Why can’t we defeat you?"

"Now you see the dark side is not stronger than the light," Charming Thunder said.

"Yes, we see you speak the truth," Applejack said. "We are no match for you…"

"Please, for the sake of what we once shared, do not make us suffer," Twilight asked. "End our life quickly. There is no other way."

"I could never kill you, Twilight," Charming Thunder said. "I couldn’t bear to do it."

"What other choice do you have? I have fallen to the dark side. I am the apprentice to Cyber himself. You cannot let me live."

"You can reject the dark side, Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow. Return to the light."

"No," Applejack said. "We are not strong enough."

"There is too much anger inside us now," Rainbow added. "Too much hatred and fear. We can no longer find peace in the Force or Magic."

"Use our love and friendship, then," Charming Thunder said. "Take your strength from me."

"You…always had more strength than I did," Twilight said. "I told you that. I felt so…helpless before your destiny. You were Charming Thunder; Son of Sombra and I couldn’t tell you…it was agonizing! Even worse when I began to…feel closer to you. I despised myself for it. And even now I…feel your strength. It…does help me. Thank you, I think I can face the end, now. If you are the one to end it for me."

"I love you, Twilight. I can’t abandon you, ever."

"I love you, too. Cyber knew how I felt. Any part of the light that was within me would be extinguished when I killed you. But what good is love? It cannot save me from the sea of blackness I am drowning in. I have betrayed everything I ever believed in! How can I atone for that?"

"Help us defeat Cyber, Twilight. This will atone for what you have done."

"Yes, I…could join you in your battle against Cyber. That alone would not make up for all I have done, yet…it would be a step in the right direction. But how would you be able to trust me? How do you know I wouldn’t turn on you when you face Cyber? How do you know the dark side wouldn’t make me betray you again?"

"I trust you enough to leave myself open to your attack, Twilight."

"You play a dangerous game. Are you certain you wish to take this risk? I could end your life and gain Cyber’s favor with a single stroke of my lightsaber."

"You won’t, Twilight. Because I love you and I believe in you."

"You are brave…and some would say foolish. But you are also right. The dark side has not wholly consumed me. I cannot raise my blade against you. And…and you said you loved me. This may not be the best time to say it, but…I love you, too. With all my heart."

"I know you do." The Nightmare Sisters began to revert to their normal form. The allies who were in stasis began to wake up from it. Charming Thunder then ran over to Twilight and Applejack and gave them a hug.

"We should go. Cyber awaits. This isn’t over, yet...for any of us." Charming nodded and everyone began to walk away, but they were interrupted when they see a door open and they see the EOI along with Khem, Trixie, Sonata, and Cadence.

"We lost communication with you so we came here as fast as we could," Brutalight said.

"Come on," Charming Thunder said. "We still need to fight Cyber."

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news but aren’t you forgetting the three knights that Cyber mentioned?" Geo said.

"He’s right," Sombra said. "Where are they?"

"It doesn't matter," Twilight said. "We must keep going." Everyone nodded and everyone began to make their way to the nearby corridor.

Chapter 10: The Three Knights

The group were about to enter another random chamber until they got ambushed when lightning hit in front of them. Three figures came in front of the door. It was Shining Armor wearing his Shadow Guard uniform, Clover the Clever wearing a Dark Jedi Master Robes, and a mysterious pony wearing a hood and an outfit. "If you want to get to Lord Cyber, you need to get through us first!" Shining shouted.

"I'm willing to bet that Danny is on the other side of that door," Charming Thunder said.

"Who is the cloaked figure?" Starlight asked.

"Long time, no see...Starlight," the figure said as he took off his cloak revealing himself. Starlight saw his cutie mark and gasped before slowly stepping back. This caught Charming Thunder's attention.

"What is it, Starlight?" Charming Thunder asked.

"That's...Sunburst," Starlight said in fear. Charming Thunder and Twilight's eyes widen and they looked at Sunburst.

"So...YOU are the one I've heard so much about from Starlight," Charming Thunder said.

"Nothing good I hope," Sunburst replied. Before Charming Thunder could reply, Sunburst fired a beam of heat at Charming Thunder. Starlight blocked it and she began to overcome her fear and got into a fighting position.

Brutalight chuckled and said, "What fun." She then began to laugh maniacally. "What fun!!" Clover and Sunburst noticed her and realized something.

"So the rumors are true," Clover said. "The Elements of Insanity have returned."

"Formerly enemies of Equestria. Now allies."

"You were foolish to side with her," Sunburst said.

"And you are foolish to side with Cyber. Perhaps my actions will speak louder than words." A lightsaber magically appeared in Brutalight's hooves and activated her double bladed lightsaber and got into her fighting position. She then leaps in the air and strikes at Clover first. Then, Sunburst as he tried to strike from behind and kicked him in the face.

"What are we waiting for?" Starlight said as she along with Charming Thunder and Rainbow activated their lightsabers and got into their battle positions. Brutalight's lightsaber twirled by itself as she held it and struck an attack at Shining. Clover charged as she tried to strike an attack, but Brutalight leaps over her which caused her to bump into Shining and collapse to the ground.

Sunburst clashed blades with Brutalight as he asked, "Why would you side with them?"

"She is a bearer of the Element of Insanity just like Cyber," Shining said as he clashed blades with Charming Thunder as Clover clashed with Rainbow. They both held their ground as Starlight watched. She noticed that Clover pushed Rainbow and prepared his strike on her. She leaps in front of the downed Rainbow and blocked the incoming strike.

"Nopony hurts my friends," Starlight said. She then broke the clash and blasted Clover causing her to hit a wall and fall to the ground.

Shining Armor charged towards Charming Thunder as his horn glowed. Charming Thunder blocked his strikes and stopped him from using his magic by headbutting him. He then used force choke to levitate him off the ground as Shining had his hoof on his neck. He then threw him to a wall and pulled him in front of him on the ground. "Funny," Charming Thunder said. "I expected more of a challenge." Shining Armor opened his eyes and fired magic at Charming Thunder.

Brutalight was still clashing with Sunburst as she blocked his strikes. She shoved him back and her lightsaber twirled and began to float up in the air. Sunburst attempted to fire magic at her, but was stopped when Starlight came from behind and strikes at him. Sunburst blocks her strikes as their duel continued.

Charming Thunder slowly got up as Shining Armor approached with his horn glowing. "Even if you kill me, what will it make you?" Charming Thunder said before he collapsed and struggled to get up. Shining Armor then grabbed him by the throat and pinned him to a wall. "You must be very proud of yourself. You are afraid. Afraid to loose the ones you love. Especially my sister."

"We both know that I have to kill you now," Shining said before slamming Charming Thunder to the ground and aimed his lightsaber at his face. "You'll have to imagine the fire--" Before he could finish his sentence, he got blasted by Twilight's magic which caused him to hit a wall and leave him unconscious.

"Thanks, dear." Twilight helped Charming Thunder up then met up with Rainbow and Starlight who were still dueling Sunburst.

Sunburst pushed them back as he said, "ENOUGH!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU ARE FIGHTING AGAINST!!" Charming Thunder rolled his eyes and sighed with what he is hearing. "I AM A MOST POWERFUL WIZARD EQUESTRIA HAS--" Sunburst was interrupted when Charming Thunder had enough and used his magic to levitate him and slam him to the ground a few times then tossed him to the ground next to Shining Armor leaving him unconscious. The group except Twilight and Starlight was surprised with what Charming Thunder did to beat Sunburst so easily.

"Puny wizard," Charming Thunder laughed to himself. He then looked at the others who had their eyes widened and mouths open. "What?"

"You could've killed him!!" Twilight and Starlight said.

"Relax. Besides, he was just talking nonsense. If he is that powerful, how come he didn't get out of that?" Starlight thought about it, but didn't want to answer. "Anyways, we need to hurry. Bring them over here so I can use a spell on them."

Chapter 11: The Battle of Blood

Charming Thunder and the group along with Shining, Clover, and Sunburst entered the room to see Cyber turning to see them. He sighed and began to chuckle as Charming Thunder looked at him with a semi-horror face at his appearance. "Welcome and as you can see, you arrived slightly early," Cyber greeted. "Oh well; I have two others to face you. LUNA!!!" Luna teleported to his side and she noticed the group and smirked. Celestia looked at her and gasped in shock.

"Well, well, well," Luna said. "Looks like we have some pests who don't know when to quit."

"I want to talk with Charming before the fighting breaks out." Charming Thunder looks at Cyber again and Luna nods. "I still have a hostage in my custody. If you surrender now, you won't have to fight and just allow me to win."

"Who is your hostage?" Charming Thunder asked.

"Ohhh...how could you have forgotten her so easily, Charming. After all...your face is truly something only a MOTHER COULD LOVE!!" A pink bubble suddenly appeared next to Cyber with Amidala in stasis inside. Everyone but Luna and Cyber gasped in shock. "Happy to see her again? I figured you would be."

"What did you do to her?" Charming Thunder demanded.

"Oh goodness, don't look at me. I'm not the one who had their fun of beating her up like a punching bag. Perhaps Sunset can provide an answer to THAT!!" Charming Thunder looked down from Cyber and they looked straight at nothing while Sunset had a look of panic.

"What!?" Sunset said. "No! Charming; you don't understand--"

Charming Thunder turned to Sunset with anger in his eyes and said, "YOU DID THIS TO HER!?!" Sunset began to back up nervously away from Charming Thunder.

"Charming, just calm down for just a moment--" Charming Thunder jumped at her, pins her down to the ground and a lightsaber at her throat. Please, don't do it! I wasn't in control when I was beating up Amidala!"

"I'm going to make you have dinner with Mephiles in Tartarus tonight Sunset!"

"Oh goodness!" Cyber said. "Have my own brother kill off his own friends and allies! This was easier than I previously thought!" Charming Thunder got off of Sunset and looked at Cyber.

"We are going have to talk later. Now you better let her go before I cut your throat and feed it down your mouth."

"Oh no! Charming is going to kill me! Whatever shall I do? Are you sure you should do that Charming?" Danny grinned as the bubble turned blood red. "I don't think mother would be very happy about that!" There was a blinding white light and everyone but Cyber covered their eyes. When the light dimmed, everyone looked at Cyber and sees him on high hooves with his front hooves crossed. The environment was now a very massive room with a simulator of being on a beach. "FOOLS DIE... AS YOU WELL KNOW." There was a loud 'thump' sound coming from behind the heroes. Luna looked at the source with shock while Cyber looked at it before looking at the group and an evil laugh. Everyone turned around; seeing the source to be none other than a giant form of Amidala. "GIVE IT NOT A SECOND THOUGHT." Amidala gave out an evil laughter before her horn ignites with power.

"I think you should have kept your tantrum to yourself, Charming," Cadence said. Luna's horn ignited and a squad of Shadowbolts and NLR soldiers appeared around the group.

"We have you surrounded; at least on this side!" Luna shouted. Night Thunder drew his sword as Charming Thunder activated his lightsaber.

"I'll take care of Night," Charming Thunder said. "You guys handle my mother and Luna." Charming Thunder walked up to Night Thunder as he aimed his sword at him.

"Brave of you, Charming," Night said. "Haven't you learned your lesson since you created me?"

"I can be a slow learner." Charming Thunder leaps in the air and strikes at Night Thunder and begun their clash. The force of Charming Thunder's attack catches Night slightly off balance. Charming Thunder was then driven to a palm tree and ducked as Night was going for a slash attack causing the tree to fall. Night charged towards Charming Thunder, but was pushed towards a trunk to a tree by Charming Thunder's force push. "I made you. I can destroy you, too." As Night was gripped to the tree, Charming Thunder used the force to grip his arm that was holding the sword and slowly moved it towards his neck. Night tried to resist as his own blade came closer and closer.

Celestia dueled her sister Luna while Twilight and the others handled the giant Amidala. Luna noticed that Night was in trouble and used her magic to blast Celestia away from her and rushed on over to help Night. Charming Thunder knew that Luna was behind him so he released Night and clashed. He shoved her away as Celestia arrived to help. They stood back to back facing their opponent. They turned to look at each other and nodded then began to switch opponents.

Twilight flew in the air and used her magic to distract Amidala while Geo handled the Shadowbolts and the NLR forces as he took cover behind a rock.

Luna clashed blades with Charming Thunder while Celestia handled Night. Luna won the clash and was forced away past Charming Thunder and landed face first in the sand. Night charged at him and gave him a couple of strikes then got punched in the face by Charming Thunder which caused him to impact on a rock and drop his sword. Charming Thunder then continued his duel with Luna and blocked the strikes and dodged an incoming heavy attack then clashed their blades together. "Your father was so weak when you last saw him alive during the Lunar Wars when he sacrificed himself himself to save you from Chrysalis' wrath," Luna taunted. "And then he died in your arms as you made your escape. How does that make you feel, Charming."

"This was how I felt, Aunt Luna," Charming Thunder said as he raised his hoof to beak the trunk of a palm tree. He then stood back and the tree collapsed on Luna. When the sand cleared, Luna was unconscious under the trunk of the palm tree and Celestia approached Charming Thunder.

"Go help the others," Celestia said. "I'll deal with Luna and Night." Charming Thunder nodded and rushed on over to help the others fighting Amidala.

Rainbow Dash flew in the air holding an NLR soldier and when she was high enough, she dropped the soldier and impacted on the sand. Cadence joined Twilight as she fired magic at Amidala. She then noticed Charming Thunder heading their way and flied over to him, but got hit by Amidala's magic and impacts to the ground. "CADENCE!!" Charming Thunder shouted. He rushed on over to his sister and cradled her in his arms. "Cadence? You alright?"

"A little cooked, but I am okay," Cadence replied. She tried to get up, but failed as she laid in Charming Thunder's arms. He then became furious and looked at Amidala who was still fighting Twilight and the others. He closed his eyes for a brief moment and opened them again then got up. Cadence was shocked to see him this angry and tried to stop him with what he was about to do. Charming Thunder's horn glowed as he walked towards the action. Twilight was still firing magic beams at Amidala, but they had no effect on her. Without knowing it, lightning hits Amidala which came from Charming Thunder. Amidala suddenly began to shrink down to her normal size as she was being electrocuted by his magic. A blast then hits him and pushed him away towards Celestia and the redeemed Luna and Night while the blast only disintegrated the Shadowbolts and the NLR forces. Cadence rushed over to him as Celestia turned him over and Luna used her magic to heal him. Charming Thunder groaned and slowly got up off the sandy floor. The area then turned back into the simulation room as the smoke cleared to reveal the struggling Amidala as she got up. Twilight and the others got into their battle positions in case anything went wrong.

"I'm alright," Amidala said as she walked up to them. "What did he do?"

"I don't know," Twilight said as she turned to look at Charming Thunder. "But what matters is that you and the others are with us again."

"That was AWESOME!!" Rainbow shouted as she flew over to Charming Thunder. "Not only you shrunk your mother back to size, you even redeemed her in the process."

"I will explain that later, but we have a brother to deal with," Charming Thunder said as he turned to see a portal left opened. "And Cyber already left us a way to where he is."

Chapter 12: Battle of the Heroes

Cyber stood at the top of the altar where seven pillars had five out of seven Elements of Harmony firing a beam at the center. He smirked as everything went as planned, but something began to beep on his sensors. He turned to see Charming Thunder and his allies coming through the portal along with Amidala, Night Thunder, and Luna; who looked very angry. He smirked as they see him at the altar. "Danny!" Charming Thunder shouted.

"You're too late, Charming!" Danny said. "I have the Elements of Harmony, the Key Rift, and the Altar! Now you bare witness as I open a portal between space to bring my true father; Mephiles the Dark, back from his cell. And not only that, but his followers Tirek and the evil clones of Celestia, Luna, and Cadence! And hopefully bring my sister; Twivine, back from the grave!"

"You monster!" Celestia shouted. "You don't know what you are doing! If Mephiles returns into Equestria, all the world will be thrown into eternal darkness! The balance will be out of control and utter chaos will reign upon the world! Is that what you truly want!?"

"Yes! it is what I want! You took my sister, mother, and father away from me Celestia! It is only fitting that I take away what you hold dear; your sun, your goddess, and your entire race."

"What!?" Luna shouted in disbelief.

"That's right. I know where is Alicorn Island! With that information, I could easily wipe out the Alicorns, this time for good and real! Your parents and your precious goddess will disappear FOREVER!!"

"Why you ungraceful," Charming Thunder sad before he charged at the altar. When he was about to make it through the entrance of the altar; he crashed into what looked like an invisible barrier. "What? What is this!?"

"You like it? It is known as Unbreakable Shield. It was created by the very Alicorn goddess herself. As the name calls it, it is unbreakable, even to LaurFa's magic." Charming Thunder pounded on the shield. He even used his lightsaber but that didn't work either. He then tried his magic and that didn't work. Finally, Charming summoned his Star Saber and hit it against the shield, but it didn't even scratch the invisible wall. Charming growled in anger.

"Damn it! Curse this spell. It MUST have a weakness."

"This is my first time ever hearing the spell," Celestia said. "So as far as we know, there IS no known weaknesses as far as we know."

"In twenty minutes, the portal will open and my father will be freed." Charming Thunder had an idea and his horn ignited. However; he began to cry out in pain and he stopped his horn. Cyber laughed at his failure after the attempt. "Nice try but all attempts to use your magic to stop the ritual will end in futile as long as that barrier is up. Outside magic is fruitless against ANYTHING inside the shield. It would just counter and hurt you instead."

"So that is it, huh?" Charming Thunder asked. "You are just going to be a coward and hide in that shield while you wait."

"I'm no coward but I did acquire some entertainment while I am in here and you are fighting out there." The group had a confused expression until they heard several 'thump' sounds behind them and they looked; seeing nine robot duplicates of Cyber made of nothing but cyber metal.

"What are these things?" Geo asked.

"Meet the Cyber Drones. I control them with my cyber metal implants on my brain. I hope you can beat them because a single drone can kill over a thousand Jedi or Sith." The group armed themselves with their lightsabers and then they charged. The Cyber Drones charged as well. Charming Thunder made the first strike by attempting to cut a Cyber Drone in half but the crone caught his blade. The drone looked at Charming Thunder before hitting him; sending him launching into the shield. Some of the others were sent launching into the shield as well.

"These things can withstand a lightsaber blade without even making a scratch!?" Celestia shouted.

"Oh course. Cyber Metal is advance material. If I was ranking droid for this, I would say that the Cyber Drone's metal is ten times more durable than a red ray shielded Droideka and those things are overpower in a fight. Nothing can get into their shields; not even lightsabers. So times that with ten, a single Cyber Drone can catch a lightsaber blade without even making so much of a scratch." Charming Thunder began to think about the new information before he put away his lightsaber and summoned his Star Saber once more. He charged at a Cyber Drone and made the attempt to cut it in half and it worked. "Oh, very clever of you, Charming. Wielding a weapon that can easily take on the Cyber Drones. I forgot to calculate the Star Saber. Oh well. Too bad for you that Cyber Drones can adapt." Charming Thunder made a chance to unleash a wave of pure cosmo energy at the Cyber Drones. However, before he could do it, a Cyber Drone appeared in front of him and knocked him away without the Star Saber. He gets up and sees the Cyber Drone grabs the blade and throws it off the island. He attempted to grab it with his magic, but another Cyber Drone grabs his horn and disabled his magic. He looked at the Cyber Drone before knocking it away. However, it was short lived when he used a powerful lightning spell on the drones; deactivating them. I was honestly surprised to say the least, but he looked drained of all power.

"Charming!" Twilight shouted. She then rushed over to Charming Thunder and embraced him. Her horn connects to Charming Thunder and she gave him some more magical energy. He hugged Twilight back and then looked at Cyber.

"I have defeated your Cyber Drones," Charming Thunder said. "Will you not fight?"

"Might as well, but you stand no chance against me," Cyber said before he pointed his hooves out to the group and a massive power of force storm erupted and began to shock everyone except Charming Thunder; who was shielding himself with the force. He used force push at his lightning to reflect it at Cyber, but he managed to make the counter ineffective. He then walked out of the shield. "Alright. Lets see just how powerful you really are." Charming Thunder began to make the offense followed by Sombra, Twilight, and Amidala. Cyber blocked Charming Thunder's lightsaber attack and quickly used time control to quickly teleport in front of Twilight in a single second. He slashed at Twilight, but she managed to block it, but he used time control again and teleported behind Amidala and cut her back. He kept using the move on everyone to catch them off guard. After a few minutes of it when Cyber was about to jump from Celestia to Luna, he felt something pushing him back. He looked and sees Galaxia, Cosmos, LaurFa, and Clockwork as the source. They landed to the heroes as Cyber held his ground.

"Father, Mother!" Celestia shouted.

"With LaurFa and Clockwork, too!" Luna added.

"What are you four doing here?" Charming Thunder asked.

"Personal business with Cyber," LauraFa replied.

"To what do I own the pleasure?" Cyber asked.

"Drop the act," Clockwork said. "I know it is you Mephiles." Everyone but LaurFa, Clockwork, Galaxia, Cosmos, and Cyber gasped in shock and looked at him. He began to chuckle and his right pupil changed to green slit pupils.

"How long have you known?" Mephiles said.

"Since I felt a great darkness making an appearance some time ago," LauraFa replied.

"How dare you use your own son like he was a puppet to control by your own will!" Clockwork added. "How can you even call yourself a father!?"

"Danny is nothing more than a tool of my will," Mephiles said. "Once he has served his purpose, I will release him. But Cyber himself is his own entity. I'm just the voice in the back of his mind; capable of taking over this body whenever I wish. Cyber's mind is a twisted one; me, Cyber, and Danny trying to keep the balance from overflowing in this one body."

"So this is where you have been hiding!?" Charming Thunder said. "You’ve been using Danny from the beginning!?"

"Who said I was being used?" Cyber said. "I allowed Mephiles into my body willingly. He was weak and almost lost his power. So we made a bargain that later resulted to this. We have no intention to bring eternal darkness but rebuild the world into one mighty empire where Celestia has no rule in! alicorns always thought to themselves as mighty leaders of the world; now is the time to show that this world is nothing but corrupted by their supreme power! At first, I thought of alicorns as goddesses who brought wisdom and strength to nations, but as time passed on, I began to realize that their corrupt greed of power makes them think they are the supreme race. But in realization, they are no different than us with the fact that they have more magical talent than an average unicorn. Charming Thunder and Twilight are such fine examples since they have proven to be more powerful than any normal alicorn. Now that they have reach the level of alicorn, they are even greater than before. And here they are; pawns to Celestia and her alicorn brethren. Yet not all alicorns I despise. Luna and Cosmos; who are treated like the lesser, are unlike their brethren. For them; I don’t give them destruction but the gift to show the world that they are no lesser being. They are alicorns as well; not some nightmare! And yet you alicorns admire Celestia and Galaxia like they awe LaurFa!"

"He's right," Twilight whispered.

"Now you know why my cause is justice. I’m doing what I think is right."

"But you are doing it the wrong way!" Galaxia corrected.

"Says the alicorn gueen who is no different than Celestia." That statement fumed Galaxia's anger. She growls in rage and she bursts into flames. Everyone around her backs off from the heat of the power.

"What’s wrong with Queen Galaxia!?" Charming Thunder demanded.

"Cyber or Mephiles pissed off mother and she going to unleash her ultimate attack; Star Blast, on him," Celestia replied with fear. Galaxia teleports in front of Cyber. Cosmos and LaurFa put a shield around the heroes. When the blast ended, there was a big crater. They lowered the barrier and they see Galaxia slowly come out; panting and out of power.

"Damn it," Galaxia said. Everyone goes to the crater and sees no remains of Cyber. Before anyone could say anything, they began to see the ashes from around beginning to form a figure. That figure was none other than Cyber still smirking. She looks at him with fear. "Just…what are you? Star Blast can destroy an entire galaxy as a last resort. Yet you managed to survive it like it was nothing! I vaporized you and yet; you return back to the land of the living. Even alicorns with immortality can’t survive that attack!"

"Your answer; I’m banished from death," Cyber said. "I’m neither living nor death. For I have mastered an ancient power from the dark side. Khem should be familiar to it. After all…his previous master learned this technique in no time."

"{I know of what you speak,}" Khem explained. "{You speak of force walk; the only ability that very few in the dark side can use. I’ve only known three; my previous master included. You would be the fourth that manage that power.}

"What is this ‘force walk’?" Charming Thunder asked. Suddenly; Yoda, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon appeared with grim expressions. Charming Thunder nearly jumped when he saw the four ghosts appear.

"Force Walk allows the caster to bind the spirits of the force to their will; willingly or against," Yoda said. " It increases the caster’s powers and influence with the force. Normally, though, the cast begins to grow unstable. However, there was a ritual discovered that Darth Nox managed to unlock to allow the caster to stabilize his physical body. If I had to guess; Danny knew of the ritual and managed to allow him to control the ghosts’ powers."

"That’s bad then, isn’t it?"

"Do you know how many ghosts I now control ever since I was taught the ritual?" Cyber said. "I have quite the powerful bunch. But no more talking. You are powerless against me and you have fifteen minutes left." With that said, the Element of Magic began to spark lavender magic. All there was left was the Element of Courage.

"What are we going to do!? Danny is too powerful for all of us combined!"

"Then we better our chances by allowing you full power of the elements," Galaxia replied. Charming Thunder looks at her as Galaxia closed her eyes and her horn began to glow. Cyber had a curious look until his power sensor went off. He gasped and turned to look at the elements. For some strange reason, they were radiating off more power than normal. His sensor then suddenly began to read Charming Thunder’s power level skyrocketing. There was a powerful multicolor light behind him. He then turned around where Charming Thunder was at. When the light dimmed, standing there was the more powerful Charming Thunder. His coat was pure white and his mane was red. His Cutie Mark was the triforce symbol that was surrounded by the Elements of Harmony. Around Charming Thunder was a multicolor aura. Charming Thunder opened his eyes; revealing them to be blood red. He had a serious look on his face.

"Cyber, your time has come to a stop."

"You can pull off any trick you like, but it will only delay the return of Mephiles," Cyber said. He then aimed his hoof at Charming Thunder and prepared to fire and ecto-energy ball, but he felt himself get kicked at the back of the head and got sent flying skyrocketing through a rock before colliding to the mountain. Cyber teleported out of the crater a few feet from Charming Thunder. Cyber stared at him as Charming Thunder closed his eyes and crossed his hooves. He opens his eyes with a smirk on his face, and uncrossed his hooves and began to radiate with power. A multicolor aura with blue lightning surrounds his body as he powers up; ready to get serious. Cyber did the same causinghim to charge purple aura with black lightning surrounding his body. They stared at each other; powering up to the max before they teleported at the same time. They then began to clash a blow a second later. Cyber kicked Charming Thunder away and charged at him for a punch. He flips while kicking him away and heads above him to kick him down and rushes down to give him some more kicks, but Cyber kept on blocking those attacks. Then, Cyber uppercuts Charming Thunder up, dashed in front of him to punch him forward, and rushed behind him to kick his back four times before kicking him forward; skyrocketing him away. Charming Thunder stops himself before he was surrounded by seven colorful spheres and they went into his body and he became a multicolor sphere of power. He dashes towards Cyber; going faster than the speed of light. He punched him square in the face; sending him flying away very fast. He dashes to a nearby rock then jumps from there to meet him before unleashing a barrage of punches and kicks before kicking him up. Cyber managed to recover in orbit and sees Charming Thunder dashing up to meet him and that is when he exits out of his attack with a smirk. However; it changed to a frown of terror as he smirked and prepared a Dark Eruption.

"Harmony-" Charming Thunder said as Cyber threw his attack at him. "-Wind!" He fired a ball of pure harmony energy at Cyber. Both attacks hit and exploded. They charged each other; beginning to clash blow after blow in orbit. Charming Thunder kicked Cyber; making him fly right through an asteroid and into a larger one; creating a crater. Cyber had an an angry expression and teleported in front of Charming Thunder. The moment he came out of teleportation, he punched Charming in the face with his right hoof, then the stomach with his left hoof, knee kicks him in the face, and positioned his top hooves above his head and hi bottom hooves below his kneecaps and made an attack that sent Charming Thunder flying away and crashing into the moon; resulting Charming Thunder in a crater. He began to glow and teleported. The moment he came out of teleportation, he charged forward into Cyber's stomach. He was like a drill and he felt the pain greatly. He ended the attack by kicking him back to Equestria. He looked like a fireball as he was flying towards Equestria, but he ended it when he fixed his landing on the floating island with ease. He sees Charming Thunder teleport a few feet away from both him and the heroes.

"Well… you aren't as easy to defeat as I thought. I don’t know how you managed to unification trick with the Elements of Harmony, but I must admit, it was highly impressive." Charming Thunder chuckled; taking the comment with pride. "But tell me…Hyper Charming, how much magical energy do you have left after that little transformation?" Charming, as well as Galaxia, Cosmos, Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Twilight, Amidala, Sombra, Starswirl, and LaurFa were in complete shocked when they realized that Charming Thunder didn’t have much magical power left after his fight with the mind-controlled giant Amidala and Luna. Cyber noticed their shocked expressions and chuckled darkly. "I also admit that I admired your ability to allow Charming to use the full power of the Elements of Harmony, Galaxia, something that even I can’t do. However…" The Elements of Insanity suddenly appeared above him glowing pure black. "This also works in my favor." Everyone; even Charming Thunder, had shocked expressions. "Now I know how to absorb the full power of the Elements of Insanity!" The Elements of Insanity shot seven beams of pure black energy into Cyber's body and created a black flash. He began to grown before roaring with energy. Like Charming Thunder, Cyber's aura changed from black and purple to multicolor. Everyone watched as he changed in front of them. Charming Thunder held a serious face on him. When the aura died down, they looked and were completely shocked. His coat was now blood red, his right eye was yellow while its’ pupil was slit blue. The Cyber Metal was no longer blue; it was now pure black with the purple markings. "Understand this, all of you. All of you combined could not match the amount of insanity energy I now possess. Although you may have been faster than me, Charming, your speed will mean nothing…when I destroy your empire." Charming Thunder cracked his hoofs with anger. "Now before Mephiles makes his return, I will leave you with what I knew of the Prophecy foretold that resulted in Mephiles becoming what he is now." Cyber looked up to the sky. "You see, being born with negative energy makes him naturally incline to obtaining as much power as possible. In time, he weilds more energy than any star, any universe." He closed his eyes and looked down. "But there is one energy he will never be able to surpass." LauraFa gasped as she realized what he was referring to. "That’s right, LaurFa." He opened his eyes and stared at her. "Your precious Tree of Harmony; a source of infinite energy, created by the gods themselves. No matter how much power he absorbs, he will never reach the level of infinity. Therefore, the only solution is to destroy it; which, in turn, would disrupt the only harmony source in Equestria along with its power, making it impossible to be restored. I will NOT be damned to eternal subordination towards that tree!" LaurFa, as well as Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Amidala, Galaxia, and Cosmos, had angry expressions.

"No way," Charming Thunder shouted.

"You are annoyingly stubborn. Obliviously; you’ll resist. So..." Black thunder began to cackle around Cyber. "Let’s see; how much magical and harmonic energy you have left to stop THIS!!" Cyber teleported high into the sky; both of his hooves lighting with spheres of dark energy and he coiled them above his head as he began to channel energy into the attack to create a massive ball of dark energy. Lightning crackled everywhere, the water around the world became tidal, and the earth on the floating island crumbled as the ball grew bigger. Charming Thunder held out his hooves and magical, as well as harmonic, energy began to enter Charming Thunder's body as he prepares an attack of his own. Everyone in Equestria lifted their hoof, claw, etc. into the sky as they help provide energy to Charming Thunder. Finally; after a few more minutes, both sides fired their attacks. There was a massive light as well as an explosion of energy as they clashed. Cyber and Charming Thunder were not giving an inch, not looking away, as their attacks were evenly matched. Charming Thunder began to channel more power into the attack, slightly pushing Cyber's back. He decided to do the same and push Charming Thunder's back. Charming Thunder closed his eyes, waiting for the deadly attack to hit him. Twilight and Sunset; witnessing their husband preparing to meet his fate, roared with power as the Elements of Harmony suddenly began to supercharge them. Sunset was the first to transform. Sunset’s coat change to pure yellow, her pupils were blood red, and her mane and tail were white and purple. Not only that but she was now an Alicorn. Next was Twilight; her coat was pure yellow as well. Her mane and tail was like Celestia’s but was color white, light blue, and blue. Her pupils were blue was well. Both of them dashed behind Cyber; which he noticed them and turned around to see them with a nervous look. Charming Thunder saw as well and that Cyber's attack wasn't being supported. Both Twilight and Sunset fired a combined energy attack while Charming Thunder used his power to end my attack and all three attacks hit him at the same time. Twilight and Sunset moved away and their attacks ended as Cyber was sent skyrocketing to orbit by Charming Thunder's attack. When the attack ended, Charming Thunder fell to the ground and changed from Hyper to Super. Twilight and Sunset came to his side. Charming Thunder’s new appearance was that his coat was now pure yellow, his mane and tail were still red, and his eyes were still blood red.

"Are you ok, Charming?" Twilight asked.

"...yes..." Charming panted.

"Where is Danny?" Sunset asked. "Is he..."

"I...don't know."

"Look!" Pinkie said as she pointed to the sky. "In the sky!" Everyone looked to see Cyber me falling down extremely fast. He then landed to the ground, not even making a dent on the land.

"He survived THAT!?!" Geo shouted. "How is that even possible!?"

"He was in a Hyper Form like Charming," LauraFa said. "It stands to reason that he survived was that he used his remaining power to escape Charming Thunder’s attack. Maybe he is unconscious?"

"Hopefully; once we remove all that Cyber Metal on him and maybe some memory spells on him, he will return to normal," Celestia added. "Once that is done, Equestria won’t have to look at his ugly face anymore." Cyber's left cybernetic eye opened and they see it look at them.

"Whose face is ugly!?" Cyber said. The group screamed when they heard him. They were completely shocked that he was still awake and alive and not asleep or even dead for that matter. He sowly got up and unleashed an energy blast. When he was finished, he looked like he has been beaten up severely.

"You can still fight even after taking a direct hit from the Hyper Harmony Cannon!?" Geo asked.

"I won’t lose!" Cyber said. "Not to you, not to anypony. I’m may be critically weakened, but I still have my last resort card. And this time, due to Charming now weaker to revert him to his Super Form, I will finish what I should have done long ago." The deactivated drones came to life and took off into the sky high above the floating island and began to form a machine. They transformed into parts and began to form into a giant machine. When the transformation ended, Cyber dashed up to it and entered it via intangibility. Its eyes then opened revealing its purple eyes. It then looked at the enemy fleet. It was closer to the Dark Forge with a flagship in their path. It fired a beam of dark energy at the nearest Star Destroyer, destroying the entire ship in the process. Cyber looked down at the completely shocked heroes. Charming Thunder, Twilight, and Sunset held their ground when it looked at them. "I am the Ultimate Overlord; Cyber Eclipse!" He began to take flight and began to head above the clouds. Charming, Twilight, and Sunset took off after him. When they made it above the clouds, Cyber turned to greet them. "Now I will finish you off; once and for all!" He fired a beam of energy at them. They scattered and regrouped before charging at him. He then fired a few crystal imprisonment missiles at them. They managed to dodge the attack and charged at Cyber again. Then, they charged at him and fired magic bolts at him. He shook it off and dived back down only for him to come back up a few seconds later with debris of a Star Destroyer. He chucked it at them, but they destroyed it and Cyber fired a wave of dark energy and they were sent flying. He fired a dark energy beam at them, but Charming Thunder shielded them from the attack. Then; he and the other two fired a massive beam of energy at him. He took the hit but was at somewhat critical. He activated attack probes and they separated from him and began to fire dark energy lasers at the three supers. They scattered and did their best to evade the attacks. He stayed behind to regenerate as the probes were were eventually destroyed and the three supers combined their energy and prepared to fire the Super Harmony Cannon.

"This is the end of you!" Sunset shouted.

"You will never threaten us again!" Twilight added.

"Time for you to go back to where you came!" Charming Thunder added.

"SUPER HARMONY CANNON," Charming Thunder, Sunset, and Twilight shouted in unison. "FIRE!" They fired their combined attack and hits Cyber Overload which caused him to revert back to normal.

"WHY!?!" Cyber shouted. "I HAD IT ALL!! I AM THE ULTIMATE OVERLORD; CYBER ECLIPSE! I AM THE REAL DANNY ECLIPSE!" He began to fall to the ground. All of the parts fell along with him entering the medallion and turned back to normal. He slowly got up all beaten and sees the three supers revert back into their normal form. "Why…? Why can I not defeat you? I am more powerful than a god and yet…I have nothing."

"Because we have the magic of friendship," Charming Thunder said. Before Cyber could reply, the Element of Courage had fired a beam of magic to the center of the altar and fired into the sky.

"You're too late." The group looked at Cyber and see his right eye was green slit pupil again. Suddenly; Mephiles came out of his body and he fell to the ground.

"At last!" Mephiles shouted in victory. "At long, long last! The gates of Tartarus has been opened! The event thousand years prophesized has finally come to past! The day has come! The world is finally MINE!!" He began to fly up high into the sky. The wind began to pick up and the portal began to open. Mephiles floating right in front of it and blue energy began to enter his spirit. Mephiles’ laughter echoes all across the world as the wind picks up, waves began to go out of control, and a bright light fills the sky.

"It’s the end of the world," Celestia said.

"Hahahaha!! Oh, it’s happening! Its’ finally, finally happening!" Mephiles began to grow muscle and fiber all over his spiritual body. "Hahahaha! Physical form?" He was surrounded by a metal coffin. "Don't mind if I do." Danny began to groan and get up. The group looked at him and see his right eye was back to its normal color.

"Ugh… what just happened?" Danny asked. "I remember injecting myself with dark energon to help increase my Cyber Metal energy circuits when I felt something tingle in the back of my neck and causing me to black out." He noticed the glowing where Mephiles was regenerating his physical form." What is happening? Unicron, please explain." His pendant glowed purple. "Remember what?" His pendant glowed again. "No. Who is Cyber Eclipse?"

"Alright; listen up everypony, for over one thousand years I’ve remain trapped in my decaying cell, waiting for a world to call my own! Name’s Mephiles the Dark and you may call me your new lord and master for all of eternity!" Mephiles floats down to land a few feet away from the heroes. Now meet the greatest criminals of the world that I call my ‘friends’. Tirek." Tirek came out of the portal. "Shattered Heart." An alicorn that looked like Cadence came through the portal. "Searing Nova." Another alicorn came out that looked like Celestia. "And Starless Night." Another alicorn came through but this one held little resemblance to Luna. "Of course. I almost forgot about her. And our last member is Twivine." Particles began to form up and eventually created Twivine. When Twivine appeared, she opened her eyes and began to look around before cheer, finally alive once more.

"Mephiles!" Celestia shouted. "We’ll stop you before you can do anything to cause the balance to go out of whack!"

"Oh Celestia, you have forgotten that I still am more power than you. I alone am stronger than LaurFa. The only reason you beat me last time was because you and the alicorn race united against me and used the elements on me. But even that didn’t stop me. What makes you think you can beat me?"

"Back then, we didn’t have Charming," LauraFa said. "We can still beat you."

"Oh no. Whatever shall I do about that; how about you, Cyber?" Danny walked over to Mephiles and stood between them.

"Danny," Charming Thunder said.

"Charming," Danny said.

"Cyber, finish Charming off," Mephiles ordered. Danny used his will against Mephiles’ command and he noticed that he wasn't moving. "You heard me! Kill Charming!" He slowly took a step forward; holding himself back from doing it. "I command you to kill him!"

"Charming…kill me." Charming Thunder stepped back in shock.

"W-What!?"

"I want you to use Star Saber to cut right through me and stab Mephiles. Mephiles may be powerful but he will weaken when he is hit by the positive energy on the cosmos. The power of the cosmos would kill me too but at least it is better than being a slave to Mephiles."

"But Danny, I can’t do it."

"You know it is your duty! Do not worry; being banished from death, I’ll be sent to the shadow realm where I can watch over you. I will never leave your side. Now do it!"

Chapter 13: Fall of Darkness

Charming Thunder sighed in defeat grabbed his medallion and summoned his Star Saber. Mephiles' eyes narrowed and said, "You're kidding. You're kidding, right?" Charming Thunder took the blade and dashed forward. Mephiles attempts to get away, but Charming Thunder goes into the slash attack; which struck his side and cut a deep slash into it. Charming Thunder goes into the strike and hits square at Mephiles' chest. His eyes narrow and then he looks at the blade that began to cover with black blood. He grabs the blade and pulls it out of him and throws Charming Thunder away. He was caught by Twilight and they see Mephiles fall to the ground along with Danny. He coughed out green, red, and purple mixed blood. Mephiles was coughing and his stab wound was dropping blood.

"Master!" Tirek shouted. Tirek goes to Mephiles and picks him up. Mephiles groans in pain and the heroes began to advance.

"Its over, Mephiles!" Celestia shouted. "There's no where to run!"

"I still have one trick up my sleeve," Mephiles replied with a rasp voice. Danny's eyes narrowed and grabbed his medallion.

"All guns, focus attack fire at Area 15," Danny ordered. "We got a Tal'darim recue fleet coming for its master! Decepticons, mobilize to halt its rescue! Don't let the Spear of Adun get close to the island or Mephiles and his goons!" At that moment; a ship and a fleet of battleships appeared from Warp Drive. All guns; from the Dark Forge, Nemesis, and the Gravestone began to open fire upon the Tal'darim fleet; completely ignoring the Equestrian Empire fleet that hasn't change its course to the Dark Forge's main stabilizer. Rainbow and Sonata's eyes flashed purple and they ran to the the edge before transform into their Cybertronian form and enter their vehicle form to attack the fleet. Suddenly; a massive fleet of fighters began to leave the Gravestone. A battle began to go out as the lead ship began to advance to the island. The Dark Forge's turbolasers began to fire at the leading ship. After a few minutes; Mephiles and his goons were warped away from their position and the lead ship began to retreat. Danny's eyes flashed purple and the Nemesis began to fire its cannons at the engines of the leading ship. The leading ship began to group up with its allies and those battlecruisers began to do a 180 degree turn. When the leading ship united with them; the ship began to warp away. When they got away, Danny hits the ground in hate as well as cough more blood. The group heard him and came to his side. Rainbow and Sonata got back and they return to normal then went to his side along with Charming Thunder.

"Danny, look at me, don't you dare die on me!" Charming Thunder ordered. "You brought my mother and our father back, I don't want to lose you now."

"C-Charming. You know I'm not going to make it..."

"Don't say that!" Danny chuckled a little which caused him to cough a bit.

"Don't laugh," Rainbow begged. "Save your strength."

"I'm not going to make it... but I can't die so I'll be with you at all times... my soul will go to the shadow realm... Charming, I want you to bring peace to this world. Kill Mephiles, keep the peace, and don't let my dying breath slow you down. Do everything in your power to stop Mephiles. I could see into his mind and he is planning big...Charming."

"Don't talk Danny," Charming Thunder begged. "You must save your strength. A medical ship is already on its way."

"You must hear this Charming...Mephiles knows of other medallions. You, me, Phantom; we only possess three of several medallions. I know of five; the Medallion of the Seekers, the Medallion of the Insecticons, the Medallion of the Predicons, the Medallion of the Dinobots, and the Medallion of the Maximals. There may be more but you mustn't let Mephiles get them; especially the Medallion of the Predicons. The Predicons were ancient cybertronian dinosaurs. With that power; Mephiles may be unstoppable, but he knows he can't wield that power but, like us, he knows of an alternative. He plans to make a clone more powerful than me and you combined."

"What is so special of this clone?"

"He has our DNA; yours and mine. He will be like me and you in a way but different. You must stop Mephiles. While he may not die, he will be extremely weak. He will be no longer more powerful than LaurFa; he will be as weak as an average alicorn so he will still be powerful."

"Enough. Rest up."

"N-no... my time as come. Don't worry; I'll search for a way back into the world. Please... preserve my legacy, memory, and body. And don't... let..... Mephiles........ win.............." Danny's cybernetic eye began to flicker before dying out. Life faded from his eye as he died in Charming Thunder's hooves.

"Danny! Danny!! Don't go. Please!! Don't die on me." Charming Thunder's tears fell as he pressed his head on Danny's and began to cry. Celestia, Luna, Twilight, and Cadence lowered their heads as he continued to cry. For the first time in years, he had lost a brother.

At Danny's funeral, everyone who showed was in despair. Danny's coffin was put into a black and white grave and sealed away. Charming Thunder was at a tower in Canterlot castle where he got the view of the funeral and watched as his brother's coffin was being buried. TIE Fighters flew past the castle as he went inside and sat down on a chair in the room. He looked down as he whispered, "I will finish what you started, brother."

Alternate Ending: Rise of Darkness

Charming Thunder sighs in defeat and shakes his head. "No I can't do that to you." Charming Thunder said. Danny had the look of guilt and that was when Mephiles began to chuckle. Before he knew it, Mephiles throws a massive ball of energy at the group. He watched as they get knocked out cold and severally injured.

"This is the beginning, my son," Mephiles said victorious. "And for now; I must rid of all of your resistance." Mephiles knocked Danny out cold and has special plans for Charming Thunder and the others.

Onboard the Dark Forge, a transformed Charming Thunder; now with some of his coat burned off on some spots on his legs and most of his body are replaced by metallic prosthetics and armor, is lifted on a medical bed. Mephiles stood a couple feet away in the room as he sees him restrained on the bed. "You had such promise," Mephiles said. "Cyber could've killed you when he had a chance. But now..." Mephiles looked away and then back at Charming Thunder. "But, I may still have some small use for you. I still have enemies to find and destroy. You will do my bidding until Equestria is now conquered. And maybe when the time comes, you will be cast aside. Finish him." As Mephiles walks away, a pair of droids begin poking and prodding his body. He lets out a painful scream as the droids began to transform him into a servant of the dark side. The king Equestria once knew is now gone for that he has become more machine than pony. All of this would've happened if Charming Thunder couldn't have the heart to kill his own brother.
