Prologue

Mario and Luigi sat outside their house, enjoying a picnic with mushrooms.

"I'm so bored..." Luigi said, as he swallowed a bite of Mushroom.

"Yeah, me too." Mario said. For once I'd actually like Bowser to kidnap Peach. At least we'd have something to do."

"M-M-M-M-M-MARRRIO!!!" They heard a familiar high-pitched voice enter the property. It was a Toad. "Mario..." He said, gasping for air as he collapsed on the ground.

"W-What's wrong?" Mario asked, jumping up.

"Princes...Peach...is...being...kidnapped..." The Toad gasped.

"Aw yeah!" Mario exclaimed. "Luigi, let's-a-go!"

The Bros. then jumped up and ran past the Toad.

They then made their way to the entrance of Peach's castle. As they approached the door, they where greeted by a Toad. "Mario! Luigi! You're here!" He exclaimed. The rest of the castle was in a panic. "So, do you guys need a reminder on Acton Commands?" The Toad asked.

"No thank you!" Mario exclaimed, with determination in his voice, "We've been through this five times already..."

"Okey Dokey!" The Toad exclaimed.

"Hey, that's my line!" Luigi said, before the shuffled past the toad and into the castle. They walked straight through the lobby, and into the garden area, hitting a few coin blocks on the way. They made it to the Throne room, and found Peach being held by not Bowser, but Fawful. He was clad in purple, standing on his hoverboard.

Starlow sat on the ground, unconscious. Fawful must've done away with her already, and Toadworth cowered in the corner.

He then laughed loudly, "Well well well, it is I, Fawful!"

Mario then put on a battle stance, "We know who you are!"

"Yes, and Fawful is needing the Princess of the Peach for his plan!"

"Let go of me!" Peach exclaimed, squirming to fight Fawful's grip.

"Fawful, let her go!" Mario yelled thickly, pointing at the fiend. "That or we fight!"

"Well then, we will fight!" Fawful exclaimed, charging at Mario.

"Let's-a-go!"

Mario stood on the left of the battlefield, and Fawful rode his car on the right.

"Mario!" Toadsworth exclaimed. "It's been a while since your last battle, do you need help with your action commands?"

"No way!" Mario replied. He then got his command blocks. All he had was jump, witch he hit, and ran up and did a double jump on Fawful. He dealt four damage.

"Well, that was good!" Toadsworth said. "Do you need help with dodging enemy fire?"

"Nope!"

Fawful then flew up to Mario, and tried to slap him, but he jumped over his hand.

Mario then did another jump, dealing four more damage.

Fawful then tried to hit Mario, and he jumped over again.

Mario then did another jump, dealing four more damage on Fawful.

"You know what? Fawful's sick of this!" Fawful exclaimed, before pulling out a remote with a button on it. He pressed the button and a portal opened, sucking things in.

"WOOOAH!" Mario exclaimed, before being sucked in.

"M-MARIO!" Luigi screamed, before being sucked in too. It sucked Toadsworth and Starlow too.

Chapter One: Rounding Up Our Gang

Mario slowly made his way into conciseness, lying on some bright green grass surrounded by trees. As he awoke, he noticed something standing next to him. It was a grey horse. "Uhh...hello?" It asked.

"AHHHH!" Mario screamed.

"AHHHH!" The horse screamed back.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!" Mario cried, jumping up to his feet.

"Well I saw you fall from the sky and land right there..." The horse replied. She had golden, derping eyes, blonde hair, and Pegasus wings. "We're right outside of ponyvill..."

Mario then blinked several times, "P-Ponyvill?" Mario asked, completely dumbfounded.

"Well, yeah..." The pony replied, confused. "I'm Ditzy Doo! But my friends call em Derpy!" She exclaimed.

"What...I...don't...know...what's...going...on..." Mario was in fill-on panic.

"Well, you fell out of the sky, and then-"

"I know!" Mario interrupted, "I bet Fawful sent us to this world..." He thought, tapping his chin.

"Umm...Fawful?" Derpy asked, confused.

"Never mind..." Mario then relaxed and took a deep breath. "Alright, did you see anyone else who looked like me?" Mario asked, "There's a tall green one, a pink one..."

"Well," Derpy then rubbed her chin, "I no, I haven't. But maybe we could go check?" She replied.

"Alright..."

Mario and Derpy walked through ponyvill. There where ponies staring at them, some whispering, some pointing, and some shrugging in confusion. "By the way, there are no humans in equestria..." Derpy whispered to Mario.

Mario then sighed. "So you're telling me...you brought me into town, and human don't even exist here?!"

Derpy then gave him a not. Suddenly, they heard voices coming from the town square. "Tell me everything!" A pale green with golden eyes and a toothpaste colored mane pony asked...Luigi.

"I told you...I don't REMEMBER!" Luigi exclaimed.

"Well, can you remember where you're from?" She asked.

"Yes...I'm from the-"

"Luigi!" Mario exclaimed, running up to Luigi.

"Bro?!" Luigi then ran up to Mario and gave him hug. "Bro! I don't remember what happened at all! I just woke up in this pony world, and I was scared..." Luigi said, breaking the hug. "And this 'Lyra' girl won't stop BUGGING ME!" He exclaimed.

"Whu...T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-TWO?!" Lyra exclaimed, jumping 50 feet int ht air (not really) "TWO HUMANS!"

Luigi then face palmed. "This is what I've had to put up with since I got here!"

"AHHHHHH!" They heard the scream coming from the everfree forest.

"Who was that?" Derpy asked. They all ran towards the everfree forest.

"Whu..." Lyra mumbled as she fainted. They ran through ponyvill until they found themselves on the edge of the forest. They found a timberwolf attacking Starlow.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" She screamed as he cornered her against a tree.

"Starlow!" Mario exclaimed.

"You know her?" Derpy asked, confused.

The Timberwolf then grabbed Starlow with it's mouth and jammed her into a tree. "OUCH!" She yelped.

"Luigi...you know what this means!" Mario exclaimed as him and Luigi nodded towards each other.

"Let's-a-go!" "Okey Dokey!"

Mario stood on the battlefield, this time accompanied by Luigi. "Mario!" Starlow exclaimed from the tree. "Don't jump on this goon! It'll hurt, Bad...You'll have to use your hammer!" Mario then struck the hammer command block, ran up and smacked the Timberwolf's face, dealing 2 damage. The came Luigi's turn. "Luigi, you know how to attack, right?"

"Hell yeah!" Luigi then ran up and smacked the Timberwolf's face, also dealing two damage.

The Timberwolf the roared at them, before jumping up and landing on them both, knocking them out.

"Mamamia..." They groaned.

"NO!" Starlow exclaimed. "You can't loose!" Suddenly, a magic beam came flying from behind Mario and Luigi, hitting the Timberwolf. "Whu..." Suddenly, A purple mare with wings and a horn came into the scene, and landed behind Luigi, followed by a purple unicorn with blue and dark purple hair, who landed behind Mario. "Whu, who are you?" Starlow asked.

"No time for introduction!"

"Hey!" Starlow exclaimed, eyeing the two ponies. "You, Alicorn, you look like you could use the Y button!" She said, eyeing the Alicorn. "And you, I think the X button would suit you very well!" She said, looking to the Unicorn.

The Alicorn the got her command blocks. There was jump, item, flee, and Horn. "Hey! Strike that horn block!" Starlow exclaimed.

"Will do!" The Alicorn nodded. She then jumped up and struck it, and approached the Timberwolf. She then leaned back to her hind hooves.

"WAIT!" Starlow exclaimed, seemingly stopping time. "Press Y now!" Twilight then did so, and pressed Y, shooting a purple blast at the Timberwolf, dealing five damage. "Alright Unicorn, it's your turn!" Starlow exclaimed.

"I-I'll do my best!" The unicorn exclaimed. She then struck Horn and repeated the process Twilight did. The Timberwolf the growled, before doing the same attack he tried on Mario and Luigi.

"Guys!" Starlow exclaimed. "Those back legs look REALLY powerful! Try using them to counter the Timberwolf!" They then nodded, and as the Timberwolf fell down, they bucked him out of the way, dealing three damage. The Alicorn the struck Horn again, dealing three damage and finishing the Timberwolf off.

They both gained 10 EXP.

"Uhh...a little help here!" Starlow exclaimed, with the star in the top of her head jammed into a tree. The Alicorn then used her magic to pull her out of the tree. "Phew...thanks..."

"No problem! By the way, my name is Twilight Sparkle" Twilight said.

"And I'm Starlight Glimmer!" The Unicorn exclaimed. "We heard rumors about some humans appearing here, so we came to check it out!"

"And looks like we came just in time!" Twilight said, smugly.

"But wait, are Mario and Luigi gonna be okay?" Derpy asked, looking down at the passed out bros.

"Yeah, they'll be fine." Starlow replied.

* * * * *

Mario, Luigi, Starlow, Twilight, Starlight, and Derpy made it to Twilight's castle. "Um Derpy, could I have a word with these guys in private?" Twilight asked.

"Uhh, yessir! Uhh...Ma'am!" Derpy exclaimed, saluting the princess then flying off. Twilight then motioned for the bros. to enter her castle, and used her magic to shut the doors.

"So...YOU'RE HUMANS!" Twilight exclaimed, jumping up and down. "I can't believe it! Humans went extinct at least 1,000 years ago! BUT YOU'RE HERE!" She squealed.

"I know!" Starlight exclaimed, not quite as excited.

"These ponies are nuts..." Mario whispered to Starlow.

"They all are..." She whispered back.

"So, how did you get here?" Twilight asked, practically about to explode.

"We can't remember." Luigi exclaimed, shrugging.

"All I remember is defeating Bowser then, the rest is a blur..." Mario replied. "Either way, if we where sent here, the Mushroom Kingdom might be in danger!" Mario exclaimed.

"Is there any way we could get back to our world?" Luigi asked, cocking his head.

"Hmm..."Twilight thought, rubbing her chin. "Come to my library!" She exclaimed. All four of them where lined up, Mario and the front, Luigi behind him, Twilight behind Luigi and Starlight in the back.

"Wait, one thing!" Starlow yelled. "By Twilight can jump by pressing Y, And Starlight can jump by pressing X. But by pressing R, all four can jump at the same time. It can be quite handy!" She said. Mario then nodded and she entered his pocket. The group then walked down the long halls of the castle, until they got to the end of the hall.

They then one by one, jumped up the stairs, and got to the hallway on the second floor. They then entered the third door on the right, and entered the library.

"This place in ginormous..." Luigi mumbled, as the group spread apart.

"Alright," Twilight yelled, getting everyone's attention. "there's a certain book we need to find. It should be on one of these shelves!"

Everyone else then nodded, and got back into position.

Twilight then begun using her magic to search through her books. "Ah ha!" She exclaimed. "I found something!" The bros. then ran up to her. "Inside this book it says something about things called 'Golden Spheres' Hidden in the everfree forest."

"So, what are Golden spheres gonna do?" Starlow asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, I don't know. It doesn't say. But what it does say is it'll be something good!"

"So, we're gonna waste our time looking for some balls, that might not even do anything?" Mario asked thickly, crossing his arms.

"It's better than nothing..." Twilight said.

"Witch is what we currently have." Luigi added.

"Ah well, we'd better get looking..." Mario said.
