Sloppy kisses are the obvious and inevitable result.

Sunset's Obsession

Sunset Shimmer sat at her desk and gently rubbed her fingertips together. Her teacher rattled off a string of information regarding an upcoming exam, but it was nothing more than white noise in the background as Sunset’s mind drifted further. She closed her eyes and relived the moment Twilight Sparkle’s hands grasped hers in front of the shattered school statue, rubbing her palms together and biting her tongue. I’ll never wash these hands again… she thought.

“Sunset?” A voice interrupted her thoughts. “Y’alright?”

Sunset glanced up at Applejack and smiled. “Yeah. Just a little lost in thought, I guess.”

“Alrighty then. You look like you could use some sleep,” Applejack said with a pat on her shoulder, then joined her friends exiting the classroom.

Sunset took a deep breath and leaned back in her seat, crossing her arms. She looked to her left, where Twilight sat at her desk frantically writing down details regarding the test with her pen. Sunset sighed and placed a finger in her mouth as she watched Twilight stick the back of her pen between her lips while reading over her notes.

Twilight pushed up her glasses and tightened her bun while her teeth gripped her pen, the tip of her tongue resting against it while she flipped through the pages. “Hey there,” Twilight said as she glanced to Sunset, realizing her friend was staring.

Sunset shot upright and cleared her throat. “Hey, Twilight. You about ready to go to lunch?”

Twilight nodded and smiled as she twirled her pen around, the back of it glistening with a hint of moisture. Sunset’s eyes remained locked on the writing utensil.

“Can I borrow your pen for a second?” Sunset asked as she stepped up to Twilight’s desk, who shrugged and nodded.

“Go ahead.” Twilight held the pen out and Sunset carefully accepted it, then opened her notebook.

“Just writing down a few notes about… class,” Sunset said as she doodled hearts and stars, then nonchalantly slipped the pen into her jacket pocket.

Twilight tucked her books into her backpack and seemed not to notice. “Okay! The lunch room is…” Twilight glanced back and forth. “That way, right?” She pointed to the west and shrugged as Sunset guided her to the classroom door.

“That’s right,” Sunset answered. “Just follow the hallway and you’ll see the cafeteria on the left. I have to run to the restroom first, then I’ll catch up with you guys there.”

Twilight nodded and stepped away while Sunset quickly rounded the corner and rushed into the girl’s restroom. She hurried into the back stall and pulled the pen from her pocket, then deviously giggled as chills ran up her spine. “Yes!” she squeaked.

Sunset held the pen to her nose and inhaled deeply through her nostrils. She shuddered as she bit her lip and her eyes rolled back. Her mouth watered and she pressed the pen to her lips, then slid it into her mouth. Her fingers ventured down her stomach and onto her belt buckle. As she unlatched it, she heard someone push through the bathroom door. Sunset froze and bit down on the pen.

“Doo dee doop dee doo,” a voice chirped as footsteps tapped ever closer.

Sunset let her pen hang between her lips as she waited and listened. She placed her hand on her forehead and sighed deeply. What am I doing? she wondered, taking the pen into her hand and looking it over. How did I get this… obsessed?

I have a pretty serious problem. I’m not sure when exactly all of this started, but I do know that I’m hopelessly obsessed with Twilight Sparkle, and it’s only getting worse as time goes on. Every time I see her, she captivates my mind entirely. I can’t help but stare at every little detail, from the way she plays with her hair when she’s nervous to the way she bites her thumb when she’s unsure. I see the sweat glistening on her forehead when she feels hot, and I feel her breath slipping into my chest when she talks to me.

I’m completely crazy about her, but any time I try to say something or make a move on her, I end up doing something completely ridiculous and make a fool out of myself. I need something to happen soon or I’m gonna lose my damn mind. I need to taste her. At this point, I’m ready to do just about anything to make her mine.

~Sunset’s Obsession~

“Ah-ha!” Sunset jumped off the toilet and fastened her belt. “I’ll write her a song!”

She blushed as she heard someone clear her throat in the stall next to her. Tucking the pen in her back pocket, she exited the restroom and headed towards the cafeteria. She grabbed herself a greasy taco and took a seat next to Fluttershy, directly across from Twilight.

“Nice of you to join us,” Rarity said with a wink. “You’ve been late to lunch nearly everyday, darling. When are you going to share with us what has you so distracted lately?”

“It’s nothing, really.” Sunset waved Rarity down. “I just have a lot on my mind, is all.”

Fluttershy put her hand on Sunset’s shoulder. “Tell us what’s bothering you… if you want to.”

“Yeah. You can tell us anythin’. Let us help out if we can,” Applejack added.

Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie glanced to each other before nodding together.

Twilight lowered her head and looked up through her glasses, a loose lock of hair falling over one eye--one of two big, beautiful purple eyes that twinkled with all the purity and innocence the world had to offer. “I know I’m still pretty new to the group, but I’d be happy to hear out whatever it is you want to get off your chest, Sunset.”

Sunset’s eye twitched as the taco meat fell from its shell onto her tray. If only I could, she thought. “I just have something that I really need to say… or do, I mean. I don’t know how to do it or say it, though. I was thinking of writing a song, but that’s a little silly, if not a little cliché. You know?”

Each of her friends glanced at each other, shrugging and scratching their heads.

“Uhm, you’re gonna have to be a little more specific if you want us to help,” Rainbow Dash said.

“She’s right.” Rarity nodded and placed a finger to her chin. “I’m happy to help you try and figure out whatever it is you need to, dear, but you haven’t really given us much to go on.”

Sunset’s eyes wandered to Twilight’s lips as a baby carrot slipped into her mouth with a crunch. “It means a lot to me that you guys care so much, but this is something I’m going to have to take care of on my own. Thanks, though.”

Rainbow Dash shrugged and stood up. “Well good luck with that.”

“If you change your mind, Sunset, I’ll be here for you. Anytime you want to talk…” Rarity smiled and placed her hand on top of Sunset’s.

“Same here!” Pinkie Pie shouted, then inflated a balloon with one deep breath. “Balloons always cheer me up. Here, have this one!”

Pinkie gave the large pink balloon to Sunset, who took it with a chuckle. “Thanks, Pinkie.”

Uninflated balloons rained down on the seven girls as Pinkie emptied her pockets of them. Twilight giggled and grabbed a purple one, then stuck it in her mouth to inflate it. Sunset grabbed one of her own and squeezed it while she watched Twilight’s grow larger and larger.

“Pick these up, Pinkie. We can’t have ya tossin’ junk around and makin’ messes and whatnot.” Applejack huffed and forced Pinkie to begin cleaning her mess.

Sunset’s eyes partially closed as she watched Twilight struggle to tie the balloon off with a knot. “Here, let me get that.”

Twilight blushed and handed the untied balloon over, carefully keeping the air trapped inside with her fingertips. Sunset leaned over the table and grasped onto Twilight’s fingers with hers, quivering as she felt them slip away, leaving only the balloon behind. Sunset tied the knot and subtly rubbed her fingertips around the moist mouthpiece.

“Please feel better,” Rarity said as she stood up and left to empty her tray.

Sunset nodded and hugged the balloon while Fluttershy patted her head and walked away as well. Only her and Twilight remained at the table, who began to play with a long lock of her hair.

“Nervous?” Sunset asked.

“What? Not at all.” Twilight stroked her hair harder and glanced from side to side. “I uh… I should be going too. We have class.”

You are so damn amazing, Sunset thought, a part of her wishing she could force the words out of her mouth. “I’ll walk with you, if you don’t mind.”

“Of course not.” Twilight smiled and stood up with her empty tray.

“I’m gonna finish this taco, then I’ll be out.” Sunset waved with her fingertips and smiled.

As Twilight walked away, Sunset bit down on the tied off end of the balloon, chewing the thick rubber with her front teeth. She then used her teeth to puncture a small hole and let the air from within flow into her mouth. She closed her eyes, then hugged the balloon and forced the stream to flow faster as she swirled her tongue around the air pressure. Before she knew it, the balloon was empty, and she opened her eyes.

“Eh… that’s a little weird, Sunset. What are you doing?” Twilight asked with a finger to her lip.

Sunset cringed and lowered her eyes, her cheeks turning red. “I...uhm… this?” she asked as she held the wrinkly deflated rubber up with a shaky hand. “I was just trying to untie the knot for no reason in particular and I accidentally popped it.”

Twilight’s eyes narrowed and her brow furrowed. “If you say so.”

Good going idiot! You just couldn’t contain yourself! Sunset thought as she forced her palm against her face. “I’m really sorry, Twilight. I… I don’t know what to say. I didn’t mean to weird you out.”

Twilight looked down at the balloon and softened her eyes. “I’m okay, but I can’t help but wonder whether or not this has anything to do with the distraction you mentioned earlier.”

Sunset bit her lip and covered her face with both hands. “Can we talk somewhere a little more private?”

Twilight gulped and took a step back, her cheeks getting hot. “Okay? Why?”

“I’ve tried to have this talk so many times before but something always comes up and throws it all off. I guess I just let things get a little carried away, and things are spinning out of control pretty quickly for me.” Sunset stood up and straightened her coat, then turned towards the hallway doors.

Twilight’s eyes immediately locked onto Sunset’s rear end, a large black stain covering one of her cheeks. “Sunset… I… heh.”

“What it is?” Sunset asked, glancing back.

“I think you might have sat in something.” Twilight covered her mouth and giggled.

Sunset’s face turned bright red as she reached back and felt a wetness, then saw her fingers covered in black ink. I just can’t win… she thought.

“Hey wait.” Twilight held out her hand as Sunset ran through the doors and down the hallway, then sighed and followed.

Sunset quickly ran into the gym’s locker room and opened her locker. She pulled out a pair of shorts and tennis shoes from within and wiped a stray tear. Why do these things keep happening to me? What’s going on? she wondered as she unbuckled her boots and kicked them off, then peeled off her socks.

She then shimmied out of her pants and slipped into the shorts before putting on her spare shoes, her boots resting on the floor next to her as she sulked.

Twilight opened the door and slowly walked up to Sunset, who forced herself to swallow her emotions. “You okay?” Twilight asked.

“Yeah. Just a little embarrassed… as usual.” Sunset buried her face in her knees and sighed.

“It’s no big deal… I’m a little disappointed that I won’t be getting my pen back, though.” Twilight giggled and lifted a broken half of her writing utensil from the bench.

“I’m so sorry, Twilight. I completely forgot that I had it in my back pocket, and I just…” Sunset groaned and gritted her teeth. “I feel like I’m cursed.”

“What? Cursed?” Twilight skeptically asked. “Curses are ridiculous nonsense. You’re just having a bad day, is all.”

“You’re probably right. It just feels like the worst possible luck at the worst possible times,” Sunset said. “I mean seriously? I sat on a pen and ruined my favorite pair of jeans.”

Twilight shrugged and pushed her glasses up. “Well honestly it could have been worse. I mean imagine if the plastic had punctured your jeans and stabbed into you. Wouldn’t that be worse luck?”

“Yeah and then there could be an earthquake that collapses the school and a meteorite lands directly on top of me leaving nothing but a smoldering crater.” Sunset scoffed and rolled her eyes. “It can always be worse, but that doesn’t mean isn’t the worst to me right now.”

“You have a point. I’m sorry, Sunset.” Twilight sighed and sat down next to her friend, resting her hand on her shoulder.

Sunset’s eyes shot wide open as she stared at her bare knees, the gentle hand causing her heart to quicken. “I don’t see how things can get any more embarrassing, so do you mind if we just go ahead and have that talk now?”

Twilight stared at her own hand and nodded. “I don’t see why not.”

Sunset took a deep breath and sat upright. “I like you, Twilight.”

Twilight smiled and nodded. “I like you, too, Sunset.”

“No, no.” Sunset shook her head and cringed. “I mean, I really, really like you a lot.”

“Oh…” Twilight blushed and pulled her hand back. “I see.”

Sunset grimaced and bit down on her fingertips. “I’m sorry. I know that’s a big piece of information to just throw out there, but I’m all out of ideas on how to handle this anymore.”

“So, what makes you like me? I know we’ve been through a lot together, but I honestly don’t know you very well.” Twilight glanced away and fidgeted with her fingers.

“I’m really not sure, Twilight.” Sunset shook her head and looked back down. “There’s just something about you that sucks me in and I can’t get away or clear my head. I’ve had a crush before, but this is so far beyond that.”

Twilight stood up and took several steps backwards. “That is so…”

“So crazy, I know,” Sunset completed the thought.

“No. Not crazy,” Twilight bit her lip and looked over Sunset. “Fascinating.”

Sunset perked up and scratched her head. “You can’t be serious.”

“Yeah… well…” Twilight blushed profusely and failed to make eye contact. “I sorta, kinda feel the same way. I thought I was being ridiculous at first, but now I think this is actually starting to make some sense.”

Sunset stood up with hot cheeks and stomped on the concrete floor. “I just sucked the air out of a balloon you inflated and stole your pen because I saw it in your mouth! You have no idea what I was about to do with it, either. How is any of this making any sense to you whatsoever?!”

Ring Ring, the school bell chimed.

Twilight gulped and shook her head. “I really should be getting to class. I’ll explain after school. Just know that you’re…” Twilight stopped and sighed, her eyes wide and starry. Absolutely wonderful, she thought.

“That I’m what?” Sunset asked.

“That you’re… not alone in this. I’ve been conducting some experiments, but those will change now that I know the pull we’re feeling is mutual.” Twilight forced a wide smile before she turned around and ran into the hallway.

Sunset slumped down to the floor, leaning against the lockers. She hugged her knees and bit her lip. “What in the world is going on?”

Twilight's Obsession

Twilight Sparkle tightly hugged her backpack as the school bell rang and her class was dismissed. She peeked her head through the open door and glanced from side to side, then darted across the hall and into the library. With her back to the wall, she quietly sidestepped until she found herself peacefully standing in the most secluded section filled with outdated encyclopedias.

“No one should be coming back here anytime soon,” she muttered to herself as she sat down and unzipped her bag.

From within she pulled out one of Sunset Shimmer’s boot socks that she managed to swipe from the locker room while her friend was otherwise distracted. “Jackpot,” she squeaked as she hugged onto it.

Twilight, what are you doing? she asked herself as she held the sock with her thumb and index finger. This is a tool meant to be used for research only. Put it away.

Her hand shook as she attempted to place it back into her backpack, then her other hand grabbed her wrist and pushed to no avail. Giving into temptation, she forcefully pressed the sock against her face and sniffed deeply. The scent filled her lungs and sent chills through her entire body. She then dragged the sock over her lips and down her neck, sliding it past the first button of her shirt and into the middle strap of her bra.

The sound of distant giggling broke Twilight’s concentration and she shook her head. The sudden urge to stuff the sock into her mouth crossed her mind, and she cringed. Come on, Twilight. Pull yourself together! she thought, scolding herself.

She removed the sock from her shirt and gave it one last whiff before stuffing it into her bag. “Okay. This is my free period. Time to get to work.”

Twilight stood up and then picked between her lips and teeth, pulling a small ball of lint from her mouth. She cringed and fell to her knees. This is getting out of hand, she thought.

I can’t make sense of any of this. Why is it that everytime I feel Sunset Shimmer near me, it’s almost as if I can taste her in the air. She makes my mouth water when she talks to me, and my stomach turns when she touches me. I can’t seem to remember when I started developing these feelings, but I do know that something strange is causing them. Only a week ago, I was unsure whether or not Sunset was someone I’d even be able to actually be friends with, and now I think she’s the most amazing creature ever to grace my existence with her flawless presence. This isn’t a crush. This is some kind of magic.

Everyday I go on like this, the pull is getting stronger. I feel myself getting bolder around her, and I know that sooner or later something dramatic is going to happen between us, especially now that I know she’s experiencing the same thing that I am. This has to be stopped… but I’m afraid that at this point a large part of me doesn’t want it to stop. Maybe if I can solve this, then…

Maybe I should just give in. Maybe the answer lies in lying with Sunset. Maybe I don’t care about an answer after all… Maybe she’s all I care about.

No! Come on Twilight! Keep a straight head and focus.

~Twilight’s Obsession~

Twilight Sparkle walked into her makeshift laboratory provided by Celestia. She used it to conduct personal research projects during her free periods.

“Hey there, Spike.” Twilight pet her dog as she took a seat and pulled the sock from her bag.

She placed it on her desk and grabbed a modified multimeter, then began prodding it in multiple locations while carefully watching the gauges’ fluctuations. Nothing significant registered on her device. She lifted the sock and placed it beneath her nose, then touched herself with the measuring device. Once again, she was left disappointed.

“This doesn’t make any sense. There has to be some sort of magical reaction going on that isn’t detectable by conventional means. All the magic I’ve encountered before was a type of electromagnetic frequency with the potential of being extrapolated. If this is a new type of magic, then I won’t even know where to begin.” Twilight planted her head onto her desk and sobbed. “This is hopeless…”

“Aw, hey. Don’t give up so easily now,” Spike said as he stretched his hind legs. “So I take it you still got the hots for Sunset, and still can’t figure out why, huh?”

Twilight groaned and mumbled against her arm.

“Sorry, Twilight. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.” Spike stepped in a circle, then plopped down on his stomach.

Twilight leaned up with a sticky-note stuck to her forehead. “Thanks, Spike. I’ve already learned a lot about magic thanks to you, remember? It seems that it flows between points that are connected by invisible lines. The waveform of your magic matches Fluttershy’s perfectly, so in some way you guys are connected now. I wonder if when I was pulled into Sunset’s magical energy field, and grabbed her hand, if…” she trailed off.

“Hmm. If what?” Spike asked.

Twilight glanced up as gravity slowly peeled the sticky note off of her head, and she giggled, snatching it out of the air. On it was a crude drawing of a sphere of magic with a vast web of strings being emitted from the center. “If when I took her hand, some kind of magic within us may have fused and created some kind of hybrid point of magic.”

“I dunno, Twilight. I think maybe you just actually have the hots for Sunset, and you’re using all of this magic mumbo-jumbo as an excuse to deny your true feelings.” Spike nodded and grinned.

“Ugh, Spike! That’s not it and you know it!” Twilight buried her face into her arms and squeezed her eyes shut. “But still, I don’t know nearly enough about how magic works to even begin formulating these absurd hypotheses.”

Spike rolled his eyes and bit down on a toy bone, growling. “Well,” he said, muffled by his chew toy. “It sounds to me like you and Sunset are gonna have to work this one out together. Just explain the situation and I’m sure she’ll understand. She seems pretty nice.”

Twilight looked up and nodded with a slight smile. “Maybe you’re right. School’s about to let out, anyway. I should go catch up with her and let her know what I think.”

“Great!” Spike shouted.

“But what if when I see her, I can’t control myself and I…” Twilight gulped. “What if we both lose control. This is an intense magic, Spike. I’m not sure I have it in me to fight it for much longer.”

“Ew… if you two are gonna go all kissy-faces, count me out. Nap time.” Spike curled up and faced away.

“Gee, thanks a lot, Spike.” Twilight huffed and spun around in her chair. “Wish me luck…”

“Yeah yeah. Good luck.” Spike shooed her away.

Twilight stood up and brushed herself off, then headed out into the hallway. She walked towards the gymnasium and fixed her frazzled hair, then straightened her clothing out. Within moments, the bell rang and students flooded the hallways, and sure enough, Sunset appeared from the locker room door carrying her backpack over one shoulder.

Twilight licked her lips as she watched Sunset walking, her hair in a ponytail and dressed in gym shorts and a tight tee-shirt. “How was volleyball practice?” she asked as soon as Sunset was near enough to hear.

“Pretty good. Thanks,” Sunset said as she wiped the sweat from her forehead. “So… you ready to talk?”

Twilight’s legs grew weaker as she eyed Sunset’s glistening wrist, then the sweatband around her forearm. “Can I please… please… just one quick sni--” she stifled herself and cleared her throat. “Yes. Can I walk you home while we chat?”

Sunset blushed and glanced down at Twilight’s shoes. “Okay, sure.”

Twilight led the way through the hallway and to the front doors of the school. They each stepped outside and made their way down the stairs towards the street, where Sunset pointed.

“My place isn’t too far down the road from here. Just a few blocks.” Sunset stretched her back and cracked her neck. “Don’t you live in the opposite direction?”

Twilight nodded. “Yeah, but it’s alright since I take the bus anyway. I’ll walk with you and find a bus stop along the way.”

Sunset nodded as they walked side by side down the sidewalk. “So…”

“Right.” Twilight balled her fist and took a deep breath. “I was thinking that we’re both possessed by some kind of magical spell, or more specifically, a kind of force field within ourselves that is magnetically pulling us together in a magical sense.”

Sunset placed her fingers to her chin. “Okay? So what makes you think that?”

“Well you know, you inhaling my breath from the balloon and me sniffing your sock uncontrollably; it's almost as if we're trying to consume each other's essence.

“Wait. You have my sock?” Sunset asked with a scowl.

“Yeah, sorry. I needed it to try and confirm a theory,” Twilight answered and blushed.

“But you couldn't, and now you have a new crackpot theory.” Sunset groaned and rolled her eyes.

“Look… It’s the only thing I really have to go on. I know I don’t know much about magic, but magic is all I’ve been devoting my research time towards. I’ve learned a little bit about it, and this is the only thing that makes even a little bit of sense right now.” Twilight nodded adjusted her glasses.

“Do you have any idea why it happened to us? Or how to fix it?” Sunset asked.

“I think something was triggered when you… when you saved me from myself, that night. I entered into a field of your magic, and my best guess is that it tethered itself to me somehow, and that our magical auras are being fused together,” Twilight explained. “I’m having a lot of trouble trying to measure anything regarding this phenomenon, and I’m not sure what the ultimate consequences will be if we let it carry on this way.”

Sunset shook her head and shrugged. “This all sounds like a lot of speculation. Do you have anything solid to go on?”

“No.” Twilight sighed. “Like I said, this is just my best guess based on what I’ve seen so far. I suppose it really doesn’t matter if I can’t arrive at anything conclusive. I’m afraid I just don’t have the equipment needed to take the proper measurements. I’m not sure that equipment even exists at all…”

Sunset rubbed her eyes and groaned loudly. “Well this was a waste of time.”

Twilight looked down and stopped walking. “You’re right…”

Sunset paused and glanced back, her heart instantly shattering as she saw a teardrop sliding down Twilight’s cheek. “Whoa, wait. I’m sorry, Twilight. You have more information than I ever would have gathered, and at least it’s a starting point to figuring this out.”

“But it isn’t enough. I don’t know how much time we… have…” Twilight gulped as Sunset’s finger brushed the tear from her face. “...left.”

Twilight closed her eyes and leaned into Sunset’s hand, nuzzling her wrist. “This is too much,” she said with bated breath. “I’m not going to be able to control myself.”

Sunset stepped forward and pulled Twilight’s head against her chest, then pressed her face into her hair and inhaled deeply. “So don’t.”

“Oh my,” Twilight said with a tremble as she found her face pressed against Sunset’s ample chest, her mouth watering. “N-not here on the street corner…”

Sunset reached down and lifted Twilight’s chin until they were face to face. They locked eyes and their minds went blank, their noses inching closer and closer together, until their lips touched.

Sunset’s hands shook as she reached up behind Twilight’s head and pulled her face against her own, parting her lips and pushing her tongue into Twilight’s mouth.

“Mhmm,” Twilight moaned with a giggle as she greeted Sunset’s tongue with her own.

Any sense of gracefulness was absent from their kiss as lustful passion overtook their bodies. Sunset ran her fingers through her friend’s hair and grasped onto it, pulling her head back as she lapped away in Twilight’s open mouth. Twilight tilted her head and ran her tongue against Sunset’s teeth as her hands tightly squeezed her rear end.

Honk honk, a passing car stopped at the corner and beeped its horn.

Twilight and Sunset each came to their senses and backed away from each other, their faces wet and glistening.

“Right on!” a pink girl with neon green and yellow hair shouted from the passenger seat of a white car, while a white girl with electric blue hair gave a big thumbs up, then drove off.

Sunset hid her face and bit her lip, her heart racing. “What just happened?”

“I… I don’t know. How could we let ourself just lose control like that?” Twilight wiped her mouth and shivered beneath the warm sunlight.

Sunset wiped the wetness from her lips with two fingers, then stuck them in her mouth, her eyes widening and losing focus. A wobbly smile slid onto Twilight’s face as she watched Sunset licking her own fingers, then she rapidly shook her head back and forth.

“Snap out of it!” she shouted.

Sunset wiped her fingers on her shirt and shook her head. “Twilight… it’s almost scary how badly I want you right now.”

“I know,” Twilight said. “How is it possible to want something so bad but at the same time want it to go away? I’m so confused.”

“I’m not sure, but…” Sunset blushed and looked up towards the sky. “I’m not sure that I want it to go away anymore.”

Twilight huffed and covered her face with her hands. “Me neither…”

Sunset chuckled and rubbed her chin. “So then… how about you come over to my place and we work this mess out together? Who knows, maybe once we let it all out, the spell, or magic, or whatever will be broken and we can go back to normal.”

Twilight coyly grinned and dug the toe of her shoe into the ground. “I doubt that it’ll do anything but make our situation worse… but I really can’t say no right now. Let’s do it!”

“Yes!” Sunset jumped up with her fist in the air. “Come on, we’re almost there!”

Sunset Shimmer grabbed Twilight’s hand and dragged her down the street towards a small but luxurious looking apartment complex. Sunset led her through a gate and into one of the buildings after punching in a security code.

“You live here?” Twilight asked, her eyes locked on Sunset’s hand the whole time.

“Yes I do.” Sunset offered a smile as they jogged up the stairs. “I brought over a sack of gold coins from Equestria, and it was worth a heck of a lot more here than there. So I went back and emptied my vault. I’m pretty well off for the time being.”

Twilight’s mind wandered. “Equestria…”

“Home sweet home,” Sunset said as she unlocked her door and nudged Twilight inside. “Allow me to give you the grand tour.”

Sloppy Obsession

Sunset shut the door behind herself and gestured out towards her home. “This is it.”

Twilight noted the large plush sofa and giant window offering a distant view of the city. “It’s very nice.”

Sunset kicked off her shoes and dropped her bag onto the floor, then stepped into the kitchen. “Want something to drink?”

Twilight paused and watched Sunset’s supple behind as she walked past her. “I’d like a sip of that,” she whispered.

“What was that?” Sunset asked, pouring herself a glass of water.

“Anything is fine,” Twilight answered.

Sunset stepped into the living room with two glasses of water, handed one to Twilight and took a seat on the couch. “Look, Twilight. If you aren’t sure about this, we don’t have to go through with it.”

Twilight sat next to Sunset and drank her water with one big gulp, then wiped her mouth, her eyes slowly grazing down Sunset’s chest to her hips. “I’ve never been more unsure about anything in my life,” she said as she bit down on her thumb. “But there’s no way we aren’t doing this.”

Sunset sat the cups down on a side table and crawled over Twilight, leaning her head back against the arm of the couch. “Good answer.”

She looked up into Sunset’s eyes and opened her mouth, tilting her head. Sunset smiled and accepted the invitation, her tongue sliding in. Twilight wrapped her arms and legs around Sunset as they kissed, her skirt falling upwards. Sunset closed her eyes and swirled her tongue around, satisfaction overwhelming her.

Twilight reached down and unbuttoned her shirt while Sunset pulled back and dug her teeth into her neck.

“You taste so good,” Sunset said as she dragged her teeth up Twilight’s neck and onto her ear.

Twilight giggled and raised her shoulder as her shirt fell open, a lacy black bra revealed. Sunset wrapped her hands around Twilight’s head and chewed on her ear before forcing her into another kiss.

Twilight offered no resistance as their tongues met, a sloppy, slobbery mess ensuing. Sunset aimlessly slathered her tongue across Twilight’s mouth and cheeks.

“Mmm, more,” Twilight muttered as she opened her mouth, arching her back.

Sunset sat up on her knees and leaned forward while she dipped her tongue into the girl’s mouth. Twilight wrapped her lips around it and sucked it in while Sunset’s teeth pressed against her lips.

Sunset lifted her shirt up over her sports bra so that their bare chests could touch. Their bodies rubbed against one another as their messy kiss dragged on.

“I… can’t stop,” Sunset said between breaths.

“Good. Don’t,” Twilight answered.

“How far?” Sunset asked as she reached down towards Twilight’s skirt, tickling her inner thigh.

“All the way,” Twilight said as she spread her legs and thrust upwards. “I wanna feel you… inside of me.”

Sunset smiled from ear to ear and yanked on the buckle holding Twilight’s belt in place, who lifted her butt off the couch as Sunset slid it through her belt loops. She then wiggled her hips as the skirt slid down her legs, and Sunset tossed it over her shoulder.

“Go ahead,” Twilight said as she bent her knees and spread her legs, Sunset sitting between them.

Sunset’s eyes could barely focus as she reached for her friend’s panties. “Okay…”

Twilight closed her eyes and curled her toes as Sunset grasped onto them and tugged. Her mouth salivated and she sucked on her fingers while she waited, her stomach churning and her legs restless.

The panties slipped through Sunset’s fingers as she attempted to pull, then she shook her head. She rubbed her eyes and wiped her slippery mouth, then giggled.

Twilight opened one eye and peeked downward towards her friend, who sat on her feet with a crooked grin. “Uhm… is something wrong?”

Sunset shrugged and reached for her shirt. “I don’t think so… I just snapped out of it. I think the magic is gone.”

Twilight leaned up and refocused her vision. “Wait… I think you’re right.”

Sunset blushed as Twilight buttoned her shirt. “Well that was a close one… I was just about to go to town on you.”

Twilight’s cheeks turned red and she looked away. “I know…”

“So what do you think happened? Why’d it stop?” Sunset asked.

Twilight scratched her head. “Maybe we exhausted the pool of magic that was drawing us together.”

“That’s an idea.” Sunset crossed her arms and leaned back.

“It’d be a better outcome than what I feared would happen.” Twilight nodded with a smile. “I was most afraid that once we reached the pique of the pull, the polarity would reverse and have an opposite effect on us, making us hate one another. That doesn’t seem to be the case, though.”

“Not at all,” Sunset said as she looked Twilight over, who sat wearing nothing but a shirt and underwear. “I’m not even sure that all the magic, or whatever, is gone.”

Twilight blushed and covered herself with her shirt, glancing around the room for her skirt. “I think it is.”

Sunset sighed and reached back, grabbing the skirt and tossing it to Twilight. “Well that’s a shame and a relief. I’ve never felt so… invigorated in my life before. I’ll miss that feeling, but at least we won’t be freaking out over each other anymore, right?”

“Right.” Twilight nodded and buckled her skirt, then sat back down. “Maybe…”

“What do you mean?” Sunset asked. “I thought you said the magic was gone.”

Twilight nodded and straightened her glasses. “I did say that, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t something else here. One would have to be completely heartless not to feel something after what we just did.”

Sunset nodded and grabbed Twilight’s hand. “I was hoping that’s what you were getting at. How about we take it slow this time and see where we end up?”

Twilight widened her eyes as Sunset held her hand. “Can we be honest?”

“Of course,” said Sunset.

“I think I had a little more control of the situation than I let on… I didn’t want to stop.” Twilight swallowed a lump in her throat.

Sunset chuckled and glanced away. “You and me both. I mean, I did definitely feel the pull, but--since we’re being honest here--I think you’re extremely attractive, anyway.”

“You do?” Twilight bit her lip and smiled. “I think that about you too. I don’t think I noticed before all of this craziness started, but you are pretty amazing…”

Sunset wore a half smile as she scooted closer to Twilight. “In that case, I'm actually really glad this happened to us after all,” she said as she leaned in for a kiss.

Twilight hesitantly leaned forward and rested her forehead against Sunset’s. “You want to kiss me, for real?”

Sunset lifted Twilight’s chin and locked lips. They sat still for several long seconds, then slowly parted.

“See?” Sunset smiled. “I can kiss you without drooling all over your face.”

Twilight covered her cheeks with her hands and giggled while her heart fluttered. “Yeah.”

Sunset pulled Twilight into a tight hug and stroked her back. She then sat back on her feet and licked her lips. “So, you’re my girlfriend now.”

“Yes. And you’re mine,” Twilight added.

“Well I hope you can deal with the fact that I’m super clingy, jealous, affectionate, and needy.” Sunset smiled apologetically and shrugged.

“I can as long as you can deal with the fact that I’m sometimes neurotic, obsessive, cynical, and probably equally as needy.” Twilight nodded and held out her hand.

“Deal,” Sunset said as she shook hands with her new girlfriend.

Twilight rubbed her cheek and looked down Sunset’s body. “At the very least, this should be fun while it lasts.”

“Agreed.” Sunset winked and leaned back onto her elbows, gesturing for Twilight to join her with her fingertip. “Now let's take care of each other’s needy sides, shall we?”

Twilight nodded and rolled her eyes. “So much for taking it slow.”

“I was thinking about the fact that I’ve already shoved my tongue down your throat. So what’s the point?” Sunset asked with a raised eyebrow.

“That’s a good way to look at it.” Twilight licked her lips and crawled over top of Sunset. “It also feels really good knowing that you want me even without random magical craziness involved.”

“Ditto,” Sunset replied. “How much do you want me? Still want to go all the way?

Twilight kissed the tip of Sunset’s nose as she straddled her hips. “More than ever,” she whispered.

“I’ve wanted to say this for a long time, Twilight: You are so unbelievably amazing.” Sunset parted her lips and gently kissed Twilight’s cheek.

Twilight blushed and her heart pounded. “I wanted to say the same to you. You make me feel something unlike anything I’ve felt before, and I love it. You amaze me.”

Sunset and Twilight passionately nuzzled one another before their lips reconnected, and a new kind of magic began to grow between them, pulling them closer and with greater force than anything they had experienced before.
