Time has passed since Twilight and her family's adventures throughout time, stopping Starlight Glimmer and Seekcurse from ruining Equestria. At least on the plus side, Starlight Glimmer has learned her lesson and is now a student. On the negative side, however, the timeline has changed, especially during the battle with Grimmore and the deal with Celtic, which resulted in Equestria being made into something...new...

Spike hums as he got to work on the new guest room which was made for Starlight Glimmer. She will be staying here until the mare gets a place of her own.

"Man, Starlight Glimmer is gonna like this room whenever she stays. It's the best one." Spike said, rubbing the back of his scales with a chuckle. "Weird, this room feels so...familiar..."

Spike has been feeling a bit off as if missing something in his life lately. The Dragon feels that ever since the time travelling incident and the fight against Grimmore as well as the deal with Celtic. Why does Spike feel upset?

Spike sighs then notices some sheds of a cloak and picks it up. Weird, was someone else staying here? The Dragon then spots what appears to be a bunk bed...and some get well cards for someone...but the name has been erased! Why is that so?

Spike then notices a carving on the wall and got closer. He seems saw what appears to be two Dragons...but he doesn't recognize one of them! What upset him are the words "Brothers Forever. Spike and..."

Spike got more upset. The other name is erased. Now he remember. Someone that the Dragon knew used to live here in this room! Someone that Spike knew and cared for and now...

Twilight and Starlight, after doing their own thing after discussing the changes, came into the council room. The princess sat in her throne, preparing to discuss what to do now that the madness is over.

"Where's Rainbow?" Twilight ask, noticing that Rainbow has yet to show up.

"Checking her e-mails per usual." Applejack admits with a shrug. "We could wait and..."

Suddenly a huge roar is heard from upstairs, much to the alarm of the ponies. That was Spike and it's coming from upstairs! The council and Starlight, with Rainbow flying in to join them, head upstairs and into the guest room where Starlight's staying.

"Spike!" Fluttershy exclaims in worry as she and her friends rushed into the room. "Oh dear, what's wrong?"

"Did we run out of cookies?" Pinkie ask in concern, making the others roll their eyes at that. As usual, she is so random.

"He's gone, he's gone!" Spike exclaims angrily while kicking a bunk bed over and clawing at the drawing.

"Whoa, Spike, calm down; calm down!" Rainbow exclaims in concern, trying to calm Spike down. "Who is gone?"

"My brother! I can't remember his name...but he was in this room when he fell to a coma by an unknown enemy! I remember that...he was cured and...and now he's gone!"

The council gasps as Starlight looks down in sadness. It's true, this guest room was where Spike's brother from the original life was at...but thanks to the mare's reckless time travelling with Seekcurse and the battle with Grimmore, as well as what Amon has gone...the brother was erased from existence.

"And that isn't the only thing! The rest of my family, except Grandpa Spykoran are gone too, they're gone." Spike sobs, feeling the loss of his family.

"Spike, I..." Twilight begins to speak...but Spike turns and gave an angry glare at the one he held responsible for this: a certain former villainess.

"This is your fault!"

"My fault?! How?!" Starlight ask nervously. But the unicorn knew that he's right to blame her: his family is gone thanks to her reckless time-travelling...even though it was Grimmore and Amon who made things worst!

"If you hadn't use that stupid time spell or even help the Three Lords of Equestria in the first place, this would never had happen, especially to my family!" Spike exclaims in fury as he wanted so much to rip her to pieces if Twilight hasn't kept him back.

"Spike, I... I didn't mean to. I was just-!"

"Just what-?! What?! Didn't realize how dangerous it is when you wanted revenge?! You're a lot worse than Seekcurse! You don't care about others! You only care for your stupid selfish loneliness because of the Cutie Mark! The reason why you couldn't get it at the same time as Starburst is because you were never meant to be one! You don't deserve to have friends!"

Starlight sobbed tearfully, "Please... Please... I-I-I-I-I"

"Spike... enough..." Twilight said, trying to calm her adopted son down. Starlight regretted everything, can't he just leave her alone?

"No! I'm not done! I'm gonna make her regret what she has done!" Spike exclaims in fury and madness. Starlight made his brother and even his mother, even though she was dead, disappeared from his light forever! "She's gonna get what's coming! I just hope Lord Azure can-!"

"Spiketail the Third! That's enough!" A voice exclaims, stopping Spike from doing anything else.

Everyone turned as they found an older dark purple teenage Dragon with large wings and strong claws coming in through a window. He has a scar on his right and cross scar on chest. Twilight and her family were shock and surprised.

Spike gasped in shock and surprise of what he just saw, "Who- Who are you?"

"What? Are you serious? Don't you remember me? It's a me, Zygon!" The Dragon introduces himself. Twilight and her family remained silent and concern. "Seriously?"

"I'm serious! Who are you?!"

"Spike, he's your older brother. The one who has been looking for you when you and your family head to the Demon Land for the ingredients." Rarity explains to Spike as to who Zygon is.

Spike gasped in shock, "No... No way..." He has a brother in this new world? And not...

"Spike?" Zygon ask in concern. Spike is more confused and freaked out. He doesn't know what to say or think anymore.

Spike quickly ran off at once while everyone were speechless and worry. The baby Dragon needs time to think about what he's hearing and what he's remembering.

Twilight turned to her friends, speaking seriously, "To be honest, we were a little confuse and worry. Can you tell us what is going on?"

As Twilight's friends explains Zygon and his history to the Princess of Friendship, Starlight looks to where Spike was, shaking her head in sadness.

At this moment with a change of scenery, we see that Omega is hovering by his jet-propulsion function over a certain area. He was assign to do some recon of the area before landing on the ground outside the Everfree Forest to look around. Ever since the fiasco with Starlight Glimmer being resolved, he & most of Golden Heart’s group have been checking to make sure nothing weird is going on, etc.

“Scans showing all is normal, returning to inform mistress…” Omega issued off to, as he was about to head off again until….A strange slight beeping noise caught his attention, that his visor became slightly flashy from…an alarm function. “Alert: Hostile Creatures Detected Nearby! Reason Unknown!” Omega using his scans to determine the location & suddenly got the dot bleeps of something hostile, but…there was something else his scans could not determine in the general area. “Unknown Target near hostile location, requesting allied members for assistance if situation calls for it. Begin heading towards location.” Omega issued off the protocol that he’ll have to take in order to understand what it is that he’ll encounter along the way & request backup.

Now Omega takes flight again to try to find whatever it was his scans detected. Meanwhile within the Everfree Forest, we see some strange mare in a cloak was sunning from a pack of Shadow Creatures in the form of wolves. She leaps over a rock, just as they continue to follow before the mare stops near a cliff on the outskirts of the forest. Having looked down, then looking back at the approaching creatures with herself being completely out of breath.

“Trapped. And nearly about to pass out.” The mysterious mare stated of her situation was not looking good.

During this time, Omega is seen flying high in the air & looks around in what his scans show….a strange looking mare hidden under a cloak surrounded by Shadow Creatures by the edge of a cliff.

“Alert: Massive versions of Shadow Creatures have unknown target pony cornered, evidence shows it to be a pony mare, exhibiting signs of suffering dehydration. Vitals signs are….unknown, unable to gather more info at current process of situation!” Omega exclaimed off in seeing what was going on, but even from gathering the right at a, he can’t process it when someone is in trouble.

One of the Shadow Creatures roars as it slowly begins to approach the pony who backs up a bit, but nearly slips near the cliff edge. She recovers, to regain her balance, but was trapped between a rock & a hard place, namely large fall to facing creatures wanting to attack her.

“Preparing for action in assisting protection of an innocent bystander.” Omega declared off in seeing that he must assist before the situation changes.

Now Omega dives down was below, the mare only watches as the first Shadow Creature raises its right claw in about to attack, she raises her right hoof while closing her eyes to brace for the worse. But then suddenly, gun fire is heard as it caused the shadow Creature to back away from the attack when something lands before it. The mare slowly opens her eyes to see a pony figure, but its body was made of metal with its wings spread out & some hidden arsenal it was displaying.

“Either flee or fight, but you will not bring harm to this pony.” Omega gave a threat to say that these things can fight, but he will not show mercy.

Having heard this, the mare behind the cloak was surprised that this strange thing was protecting her, enough to blush a bit. The pack of Shadow Creatures held their ground with snarls as the leader was about to move forward until Omega’s Gatling guns fired by the spot in making the creature back off. The lead Shadow Creature lets off a low growl as it turns to return to the forest along with the rest of the pack before they vanished into the shadows. Omega retracted his weapons before he looks at the mare that he protected as she finally saw that the savior…was indeed more machine than a pony of flesh.

“Status: Are you injured?” Omega spoke forth in checking the subject for injury.

“N-no….y-you saved me.” The mare slowly spoke off in response while puzzled.

“My programming task is to insure the safety of innocent beings that require protection.” Omega explained off what he is functioned to do.

“You sound so….noble. Ugh…” The mare was saying, before she faintly limps a bit, but slowly picks herself up while Omega notices the action.

“Scan determination show strength is dropping, diagnostic show one’s need of liquid refreshments for hydration.” Omega explained that the mare here is suffering from dehydration & needs to replenish herself.

“I am….a bit thirsty, yes, but how did you know that?” The mare slowly spoke in holding her throat to feel how horse her voice is sounding while curious how Omega got that much.

“My scans detected it, also, you look parched.” Omega stated off this answer to the mare.

“A-alright. Let me just go find a river &…ugh!” The mare tries to move, but lightly collapses before Omega catches her to study her condition.

“Subject’s body is in need of water source, making haste near location on digital map of locate area.” Omega explains this as he holds the mare tightly before his wings open up & he takes flight without warning.

Meanwhile down below from where the metal bot took off over a certain area, we see Pinkamena & her group consisting of Golden Heart, Jack Zen, Autumn Gem & Sombra. They got Omega’s signal alert of a problem to come looking around, until someone managed to spot Omega up in the air.

“There he is…wait! Is that a pony he’s holding?” Pinkamena stated to spot Omega, but noticed that he was carrying someone with him.

“Looks like it. He looks to be heading to a lake.” Goldie stated in noticing where Omega was heading off to.

“Quickly, let’s move!” Pinkamena issued off that they best get going.

Goldie’s group quickly head off to follow where their metal friend was heading. Right now at the time, Omega carefully lands near a spot in the forest while he places the cloak mare under a tree. Omega goes to the lake, opens a slot to bring out a cup before he scoops some water into it. Then processing the right kind of checks on the water if it’s clean or not, he comes to a conclusion.

“Results in. This water is fresh & clean.” Omega stated out in checking to make sure this water is clean & safe to drink.

Now Omega moves himself towards the resting mare as he lightly removes her hood before seeing her face. The mechanical bot noticed this pony was a fully adult unicorn mare who appears healthy in her prime of youth, light green coat along with a lavender purple mane with a two outward curls in the front & a curling ponytail behind her head, & light orange-red eyes as seen when trying to open them up. She appears to not have a tail & another thing that Omega noticed was she had no Cutie Mark, questionable since adult ponies have them & the matters from Starlight Glimmer taking cutie marks is something that was settle in the past, so it’s not that. But Omega’s question were put on hold when the mare looks up to him all exhausted.

“Take this, it is pure clean water from this lake.” Omega hated a cup of water to the mare as she lightly gets the cup to her lips; Omega tilts it gently to help her drink the water slowly until the cup was empty. “One more cup of water should be the estimated amount to help regain your strength.” As Omega said this, he heads to the lake to scoop more water into the cup before walking back to the mare to place it near her lips to slowly repeat the process carefully until the water is empty. “Are you now alright?” Omega asked this after putting the cup away to see if the patient is well.

“I am….thank you…” The mare in question replies while slowly standing up.

“You are welcome, Miss….” Omega responded to say until a light pause happens for the mare to realize, they have not be introduced yet.

“My name is Fila.” The mare in question reveals her name to the mechanical pony.

“Greetings Fila, my name is Omega.” Omega introduced himself in some form of greeting.

“Omega? Is it like the symbol on you?” Fila asked off to notice the symbol for Omega that was on this mechanical guy’s flank spot.

“Omega: Yes, it is how I was designed.” Omega nods his head in replying to the question.

“D-Designed?” Fila yelps a bit backwards to stare at Omega, for now she can see for certain that this guy was….created than born into this world.

“Yes, I am CA-123, code name Omega. I was built by my creator to help those in need & provide protection to the innocent.” Omega nods his head while stating these facts here; to which Fila seem surprised to learn.

“Do you have any free will?” Fila looked a little with worry as she asked something that was on her mind.

“I’m able to go where I am needed, why do you ask?” Omega lightly nods to the question, but tilts the head in not understanding the subject.

“I mean able to think on your own & act with no orders, not restraint to be nothing more than a drone?” Fila asked this off in trying to see if Omega is following her discussion.

“Negative.” Omega shook his head ‘no’ on the topic of the subject. “My creator cares for me, even is she did built me, she told me this: ‘I build you not only to help Equestria, but gave you life, so you can enjoy it no matter what they say. You’re not a drone, you are never restraint, you are my friend & part of the Family, never forget this, Omega’, I and was it.” Omega issued off to say this much about what he was told before which after that, Fila was in thought about what she heard before blur images of her past seem to…guide her a bit.

“It seems you & me, share more in common than we know.” Fila replied off to say this in looking down with some form of sorrow.

“Negative, I am a Cyborg Alicorn unit, I may have been built to understand feelings to an extent, but you are a living pony in which we are not compatible.” Omega shook his head in making this stated claim about organics & mechanical beings being together like two peas from the same pod, was illogical.

“Well on the outside, I might be… Feeling hungry, thirty, even pain, but…let’s just say all is not what you may analyze from first look.” Fila responded off to mention this stuff in making such strange claims: she then raises her right hoof, & the fur begins to blur off that reveals to be some holographic projection. To Omega’s surprise, there was what look like a robotic & cybernetic contraption of a pony’s limb leg as she place it on Omega’s body for him to study it.

“How is that possible, my scans did not detect any metal, yet I am seeing it?” Omega questioned off in how this was possible to be real.

“It’s real, Omega.” Fila exclaimed to say this before she uses her left hoof & pulls down the rest of her cloak in showing what is her real self; there was a camouflage function by a holographic projection as she has what could be described as robotic-like legs. They appear to have an extending-function to place in a new metal plate for when one grows taller. They seem to have a nervo-central link to the body's system to develop as everything else. Just seeing this was too surprising for even Omega to compute, this pony was apparently not all flesh & organic, but…

“I may look like a pony, but I’m not really a pony, per-say.” Fila let off a kind smile in stating that she may look like a flesh pony, but she is not.

“I do not understand.” As Omega was puzzled by Fila’s secret, she leans to rest her head on his metal chest.

“Just because you’re not organic, it does not mean you cannot have feelings towards others. I know that even in that cold metal body you have, has a good kind, & noble heart you showed when you helped me.” Fila spoke off to say this in approaching the one that despite being a machine, he has a good heart.

Then without warning, Fila leans in before she gives Omega little…light kiss on his metal cheek. At that same moment during the time, Pinkamena, Goldie & the rest of their group had long since arrived at the spot to hid & watch what was going on.

“I don’t believe it what I’m seeing if I have not seen it!” Pinkamena exclaimed off in what she has seen.

“Same here.” Goldie lightly nods in agreement to his sister.

“Awww, that is so cute. Omega helped her & he won her over.” Autumn Gem sighs with a happy smile in what was like love on first sight.

“Even if it was not really the motive, but if what Autumn Gem says is true, then odds are they are a…well, perfectly compatible for another, I think.” Sombra rubbed the back of his head in trying to understand how this will go.

“Well then that means a new friend & family member for us! Well, let’s go greet her!” Pinkamena smiled off to simply say this that they should go & get to know another.

Then the group was moving out while being kind of quiet. During a bit of time, Fila was seen sleeping soundly on Omega’s chest while they sat by a tree by the lake area as the mechanical stallion simply watches out. Then Omega hears movement to look in the direction, but did not engage as a hostile threat because he noticed who appeared from the bushes…Pinkamena & the rest of Goldie’s group.

“Mistress, how long were you all watching?” Omega asked off surprised to see who was suddenly here out of the blue.

“Guess you kinda figure we be somewhere along from the signal you sent, but long enough to know how you two played out.” What Pinkamena said made Omega look back to a sleeping Fila from having heard such a tease comment. “Still, she is nice, but her not being organic…judging by the design & materials, she appears to be some kind of Steampunk type pony from those robotic cybernetic legs of hers. Weirder still, I can’t help but feel like I seen this somewhere before…” Pinkamena investigated the materials on Fila before being serious of like she seen such things, but from where was a question.

“Hmm, what do you mean?” Goldie raised an eyebrow in having heard that claim in puzzlement.

“I think from a game, something-something called Binary Domain.” Pinkamena randomly spoke off to break the fourth wall in mentioning this.

“Sis, you know not many of us get your randomness, it’s the same with Pinkie Pie when Rainbow says she’s random.” Goldie raised an eyebrow in telling his sister that she was getting off track a bit from her random weird moments, like another pony they know.

“Well, to the main point, a Steampunk Pony is…kinda like a cyborg, but nothing can detect it, not even magic can help one find them. They’re kind of old-fashion of making organic creatures have robotic limb features, etc.” Pinkamena shrug off to say that Fila is some kind of old-fashion made cyborg, to which much of her actual living self of a body can’t be detected as being alive or even magic as well.

“Well that does sound surprising.” Jack Zen lightly commented off in having heard such things.

“So in terms of it, is she some kind of Hybrid of pony & machine?” Autumn Gem asked off in being curious of this.

“I’ve seen creature hybrids & such, but this seems a lot when something is more closely more metal than flesh.” Sombra pondered off to say this in having understood this.

“Shhh, she's stirring, she's waking up!” Pinkamena hushed the others in seeing they are waking up Fila from their discussion nosies.

At this moment, Fila faintly has her eyes open up to look at Omega’s position…but saw he was looking at something. To which Fila faintly moves her head, only to see other ponies nearby as she looks a bit frightened.

“Where did you all come from, are you friend or foe?” Fila asked off in wanting to know if the guys were friends or enemies.

“Well, one thing I can tell you, we are friends, since your close with Omega.” Pinkamena smile doff to honestly say this to calm the mare down.

“Omega, is this the one who made you?” Fila turn to Omega in lightly asking if the strange pink pony is the one that Omega said was the ‘mistress’ that built him.

“Yes, she is, this is my Mistress: Pinkamena Diane Pie.” Omega introduced Pinkamena for Fila to get to know.

“I see....well then, my name is Fila.” Fila lightly spoke in lowering her guard before introducing herself as well.

“My name is Pinkamena, the others are Golden Heart, Jack Zen, Autumn Gem & that’s Sombra.” Pinkamena pointed to the others in introducing them after herself.

But having heard Sombra’s name caused Fila to become shocked that she got up & accidentally threw her back legs off to kick the tree she was under. That caused it to fall near Pinkamena’s group that scatter in surprise as they all saw this with surprise while looking to who did it, which cause Fila to blush in embarrassment in realizing what she did.

“Sorry, I was a little surprised. I thought Sombra was the evil King Sombra of the Crystal Empire.” Fila exclaimed to say this from her little embarrassing reaction to what she did just now.

“Well truth be told, there is a kind, caring Sombra, but darkness & fear controlled him. But I helped him, now he is a friend.” Pinkamena explained the case for the mare to understand Sombra is not evil. “But still that move you did, I know Applejack has a strong kick for knocking apples down trees, but you sure have strong legs.” She stated this off in making a nice comment about Fila’s kick strength.

“Well more like my back legs, they adapted & became much stronger than originally intended. Thus giving me a powerful kick, but my front legs are not much stronger than normal…but…” As Fila spoke off to state about her back legs, she was stating about her front ones, as she showed that while not strong, they are tough protection. “They are durable like my back legs.” She commented off to say this about what the front legs can be.

“I think your kick could brake bones or even bust some metal wall plating if you try.” Pinkamena smiled off to say this in making a nice comment about them kicks.

“Well, you may be right about that.” Fila lightly blush about that, never thinking of such things.

“Well I think we should head back to our home & make our newest guest feel welcome with the others.” Pinkamena smile doff to say this in what they should do, much to Fila’s surprise.

“Others…there are more than just you?” Fila asked off surprised to hear there were others besides those she is seeing.

“Yes, there are. But we best get moving, we can introduce them while we help you get comfy in staying with us.” Omega offered Fila to come with them to meet the others back at where they live.

“Very well Omega, please…lead the way.” Fila lightly nods to say this in feeling alright to follow…where this mechanical pony goes.

As Omega lead Fila towards Pinkamena’s group, the scene begins to fade out. Strange as it seems, looks like another member has join Goldie’s group, what sort of things may happen along the road here, that is for the future of what we’ll see to be decided…

On a hill of Ponyville, Spike was looking at the town. He sighed, upset. His family is gone, mostly his brother. Spike wished that he can remember his name, but no. He can't. The baby Dragon can remember a few things of him: scar, ticked off about his short nature, his temporarily insanity, his love for Princess Luna...

And now, Spike found out he has a new brother...the baby Dragon doesn't wish to replace his brother, he just can't...

"Spike? Wanna talk?" A familiar voice spoke as Zygon flew in, landing near Spike. He is relieved to see his brother here and not doing anything drastic.

Spike sighs, shaking his head as he explains, "To be honest... I'm just shock and surprise."

"Why? Why would you be that to your own big brother?"

"It's because... My dad is scary and evil. He hated ponies for his Dragons being killed. The one I met is a more meanie and cruel brother. He is the reason why I blamed my adopted family for the mistreatment and murdering of Twilight's brother. And I want to give him the chance too that he's a good guy too. But Twilight hated him because of what he has done to everyone. And the worse thing is, he was almost killed. And now, I'd never get the chance to see him again... And I don't know if you are him or not."

Zygon pauses then pats Spike on the back, saying, "Spike... I'm sorry... I guess you'd prefer that guy over me. You and him must be close... Look if you wondered I did something bad to Twilight Sparkle, I'd never did."

"Seriously?" Spike ask Zygon puzzled and concerned.

"Where we came from, we're loyal Dragons to Equestria since our grandpa became a hero. And our dad is a famous and legendary hero and General of the Dragon Kingdom!"

"Really? From what I remember, he was the baddest guy I ever met."

"But Spiketail isn't. He's a hero when he bravely went into enemy's hideout as the Demon Lords' trusted Elite Commander." Zygon said, getting to what Spiketail, Spike's father in this new world. "He is the one who learned the plans and helped our family and ponies win the war! And here's the best part, he is known as 'Spiketial the Dragon Demon Slayer'."

"Spiketail? You mean named after Grandpa?" Spike ask his new brother in surprise and amazement.

"You bet. In fact, everyone in our family is named after gramps. Our great grandpa is Spykoran the Great. Our grandpa is Spykoran 'Spike' Spiketail Dragoon. Our dad is Spiketail 'Spike' Durago Dragoon Sr. Mine will be Zygon 'Spike' Spiketail Dragoon Jr. And yours is Spiketail 'Spike' Light Dragoon the III."

Spike yelped in amazement, "That's a lot of Spikes... I bet Twilight will be gone crazy about it like who to call Spike." It's true. It will take his adopted mother forever to figure out which Spike is which and how long it will take to colleague the names.

"You bet. And trust me on this, ponies will gone crazy like 'which one is Spike?'" Zygon jokes, causing Spike to laugh at the irony of it all. "How can I tell which one is Spike? It's giving me a big headache!"

Spike and Zygon laughed happily and amusingly about the joke they make.

"Wow... I didn't know you were that funny." Spike said to Zygon with a smile.

Zygon smirked as he remarks, "Well, my friends called me 'Zy the Joke'. Plus, I'm really good at it."

"Wow... You're different than him. And my family... Celtic... Did you mean this? Is this what you mean of giving up my family for time restoration?"

"Spike?"

"It's nothing." Spike said with a sigh. Perhaps it's best not to speak about the deal...not yet anyway. "I'm just glad... and happy to know that I finally found a true family. A family never betrayed the ponies like how me and gramps did."

Zygon smiled, giving a hug to Spike as he spoke, "Glad to hear it, buddy..."

"Can you tell me about how we met? To be honest, I'm confused and lost now..."

"Not a problem. But guaranteed, you're not gonna believe it."

"Try me on that, bro!" Spike exclaims with a smile to Zygon. He can't wait to hear the whole story.

"Spike... I know what Starlight did was wrong. But don't you think this is better? Think about it. No more destruction? No more sufferings? And best of all, Twilight doesn't hate me anymore." Zygon said to Spike, giving reason.

Spike pauses to do some thinking. Perhaps...Zygon goes got a point. He doesn't want to forget his brother...and would rather forget his evil dad. Perhaps...this new life is for the best. Spike will find out who his no longer existent brother is. But for now...

"Yeah... I think Starlight finally did the right thing for once..." Spike said with a sigh. "But...can you give me a few minutes to think some more?"

"I will give you all the time you need." Zygon said to Spike with a nod. His brother needs time to think.

Near the Everfree Forest, we see some Dragons are working around the area; these were three members of the Dragons of Equestria. As they were busy, one of them noticed someone walking outside to sit on a rock to pout in looking distress; it was Spike.

“Hmm…Spike, what are you doing here?” Captain Moltzar hums a bit to approach Spike in seeing that something was upsetting the baby Dragon.

“Oh, hey Captain Moltzar.” Spike replied off to say this while not showing much a happy mood.

“What’s wrong, you sound down.” Captain Moltzar asked off in seeing the baby Dragon was very unhappy.

“It’s nothing. What are you doing here?” Spike shook his head off to say while changing the subject.

“We’re busy trying to drive away some Shadow Creatures that were spotted too close to Ponyville.” An Ice Dragon pops its head up to state this of what business they are doing.

“Shadow Creatures?” Spike raised an eyebrow in hearing this, as if having a strange, reaction to what those kind of creatures are for some reason.

“Yes, the ones that can take the form of deadly shadow forms of other creatures, from sizes like Manticores, Timberwolves, even take on the medium to full size adult Dragons.” A Storm Dragon explained to Spike about what Shadow Creatures are & what they can do.

“Hmm….” Spike hums a bit while looking away in feeling, distracted by the thought.

“What’s wrong now?” Captain Moltzar asked Spike in what was wrong this time.

“It’s just weird, hearing about Shadow Creatures makes me…think about Twilight. And I think it’s about….someone from her family.” Spike stated off to mention this about recalling that Shadow Creatures…well, something about them did something to Twilight’s family.

“What do you mean?” Captain Moltzar asked off in being somewhat intrigue to hear this.

“It’s weird, there was something important about a Dragon that I can’t remember that was involve with me & Twilight, but…I’m recalling memories of what happened to her younger brother.” Spike stated off to mention this off about what Shadow Creatures did to a brother of Twilight.

“Younger brother? I was not aware she had any brothers besides Shining Armor.” Ice Dragon replied off a bit stumped to hear such things.

“She has him, but there’s also another guy, Stealth Black, her twin if you can believe it.” Spike waved off a shoulder in stating this fact of Twilight having a twin brother.

“A twin….Now that’s something that I wasn’t aware of much at all.” Storm Dragon replied off in being intrigue by this.

“Then the only two brothers are Yuri Lowell & Sparky Comet. Sparky’s with their parents since he’s still a colt, but….the other guy…” Spike explained about the last two of connection to Twilight, however…

“What happened, Spike?” Captain Moltzar slowly asked din what the baby Dragon was going to say.

“I…recall hearing Twilight say he was killed….by Shadow Creatures when Twilight was just a filly.” Spike looked down to state this in recalling something; it feels like it’s something new, but it’s likely a new info on history he has.

“I see, a Shadow Creature must have gotten into Canterlot long ago & they favor in following instants…to kill anything in sight without reason or regret.” Captain Moltzar stated off to say this in thinking of how the situation developed into such an event.

“I recall a memory of Twilight saying it took the form of a Dragon afterwards, but….hearing that just makes my head hurt. Like, there was something about it that I’m involved in. Like family. And it was….nothing good.” Spike stated off to say this while holding his head, like a bad headache was aching that he can’t stop it. “Man, ever since we came back from that Time Realm, whatever we did, it did something that I feel like I lost something that made me feel…sad.” Spike was unsure of what to think, they must have done something that all this happened.

“Spike, I can understand.” Captain Moltzar exclaimed to say this with a calm tone.

“You can?” Spike looked to the guy in confusion.

“Do you remember when Nyx was used by the Cult & when she weaken the Royal Sisters by banishing them both to the sun & moon?” Captain Moltzar spoke out something in which Spike lightly nods in seemingly recalling a memory that he feels is familiar, which involved Nyx. “Apparently, that weaken a seal of when we were sealed. At that time, we fell victims to a deadly parasite that corrupted us minds, body & souls; A Virus-Byte.” He stated this off in mentioning what happened when Nyx & the Cult of Nightmare Moon were active at the time.

“Oh my, do we have to recall that old story, captain?” Storm Dragon moans in feeling this was a story they rather not hear about; too depressing.

“We do, for I lead a charge of destroying much of Equestria, but we were stopped by King Spykoran & sealed in the Void located within the space of the moon.” Captain Moltzar issued off to say how they were corrupted by such parasites that they were stopped & sealed away.

“Yes, then we return, only to lay waste & side with those Changelings.” Ice Dragon nods his head in stating about what else happened along the way.

“We wanted a powerful item during your Nightmare Night, so we had them steal the Book of Forbidden Spells to recover the lost Rainbow of Darkness. We were going to turn ponies into Dragons to conquer everything…but did we?” Captain Moltzar stated off to explain what happened of what evil they were going for & did they get away with it.

“Well, no…” Spike lightly shrug off to say this about the topic.

“That’s right, you & your friends, even the Human of legend the Mag’ne arrived with the Elements of Harmony & Ben Mare’s aid, they stopped us & turn the Rainbow of Darkness into a new Rainbow of Light. It cured us all while sending the Changelings scatter & it became a gift for Megan.” Captain Moltzar explained about what happened afterwards, they were stopped, their evil cured & a new Rainbow of Light presented to Megan as its new holder since the original became the Elements of Harmony.

“Yes, then we face King Spykoran, knowing our day of judgement came when we were free.” Storm Dragon pointed out in mentioning this about what happened afterwards.

“But instead of imprisonment, he gave us a chance to become the Dragons of Equestria & help protect then conquer.” Ice Dragon stated about them being given a second chance.

“That’s great & all, but…what does this have to do with me & my problems?” Spike raised an eyebrow in pondering how this helps him.

“Spike, we all have past & feelings of things that we feel we don’t want to forget or in some cases we can’t forget.” Captain Moltzar looks away that for the Dragons that were corrupted, they can’t forget their misdeeds for they are always with them. “Tell me something, when the timeline was fix, do you feel as if some things are better than what you can vaguely feel like there was?” He asked off in wondering, if there was much sadness around now, then what Spike recalls from a different timeline of Equestria before a new change happened.

“Well…no…not anymore. It’s like…the bad things involving a Dragon I once knew is…like a weight off my shoulders; gone.” Spike rubbed his head in trying to think, but while he knows there was something wrong, in truth, the matter was as far as history plays out, nothing terrible. “And feeling what I know here in this timeline, feels like I’m better off, but still…” He feels like things were alright, but he was so unsure, was it better that a certain Dragon he once knew is no more that he has no sad history.

“Hugh, maybe this is something you be best off asking with your own family than with us.” Captain Moltzar sighs to say this in feeling there was something that maybe Spike’s own family can help him out in.

“Your grandfather could be one of them?” Ice Dragon suggested who should help out Spike.

“What about his father or…” Storm Dragon was about to say this off until…

“Wait! My father…what about him? He’s still around?” Spike yelps from suddenly jumping to react in thinking….his father was still around now?

“What do you mean, Spike?” Captain Moltzar raised an eyebrow in seeing how jumpy Spike was.

“I think….I recall that…I once fought him as…an enemy.” Spike slowly spoke off to say this about matters he thinks about that concern his father to the other Dragons; just then many of them began to let off laughter in the air. “Hey, what’s so funny?” Spike asked off in not getting the joke here?

“Spike, your father is no enemy, he is a good Dragon.” Ice Dragon stated off to mention this about Spike’s father being a good Dragon, he’s no enemy.

“Yes, he & your other sibling. Your brother are….” Storm Dragon was stating off the next thing to say here until…

“Say what!?” Spike raised an eyebrow in feeling lost, but the mention of ‘brother’ seem to make him vaguely think about…someone.

“Wait a second, could it be that….yes, of course.” Captain Moltzar was thinking before an idea came to him. “Young Spike, the certain Dragon….does he revolve those of your own family besides your grandfather?” He asked in thinking the riddle to the problem lies with someone from Spike’s own family relatives.

“Yes! But…ugh…I feel like they were…well, you know.” Spike rubbed the back of his head in being so uncertain here, like some members were the opposite of good, like they were…

“Evil, well…maybe there lies something you should not feel so terrible about.” Captain Moltzar smiled off to say this that made things change a bit.

“Yes, if you say that a certain Dragon caused much terrible things for you, Twilight & your friends…” Ice Dragon stated off to say that if something made Spike feel bad, the key was obvious.

“And if he was related to your father of him being evil, then maybe, ill fate is not at all as it seems.” Storm Dragon pointed off to conclude how things may turn out to be for the baby dragon.

“In short….perhaps, you have a chance.” Captain Moltzar stated off to simply say this to Spike.

“A chance…like what?” Spike asked in still not following, it’s like there was something he’s not following yet.

“If you once thought this certain Dragon & your father were enemies from another timeline, but something changed all that, then maybe…it’s for the better. When they are not evil.” Captain Moltzar simply pointed this off that made Spike begin to think more careful about this. “You can live more in peace with family than have a heart of having battle them as foes, don’t you agree?” He gently stated this in what Spike can understand was something he can know about what is better, a life without such painful family ties that broke from such things.

Spike thought this through to later realize, these guys were right. The certain Dragon Spike feels like he recalls & tries to remember, maybe…he was someone that he wanted to remember because of such a hardship past of what made their Dragon family end up in such a miserable state. But now, he has a chance, a chance to have a family that isn’t evil, who are good & for the most, they are alive…. Maybe change isn’t so scary of forgetting someone, if maybe, they still exist, but…maybe different somehow. If the old timeline about his father was never an enemy, then maybe…a certain Dragon he feels like he can’t forget, might have undergone the same thing & is not gone…

“Your right…maybe I haven’t thought things through. Twilight once said she didn’t recall having so many brothers, but yet she does now. So maybe…what I lost from before, has brought things back anew.” Spike slowly nods off to say this in feeling like the matter about what was wrong about not accepting change when it can lead for the better, it might be just something to replace the bad with something good instead of being sad.

“That’s the spirit.” Captain Moltzar smiled off in seeing that the baby Dragon finally gets it.

“Oh man, now I feel terrible. Not just at myself, but what I did to Starlight Glimmer for having caused all this.” Spike slapped his forehead in realizing a mistake he’s done; he got upset & blame Starlight Glimmer for trying to change the past, only for something else to happen & be made clear of the new timeline they exist in. “I have to make things right! Thanks for the talk you guys!” Spike waved off to the guys here as he was quickly moving out.

“Take care Spike! Stay well!” Ice Dragon replied off to say this in saying farewell.

“Captain, will he be alright?” Storm Dragon asked in wondering if Spike will be well.

“I know that we can’t forget the feelings of past memories, but maybe we can learn to appreciation a new step in life. Perhaps when he sees his brother again, it may relieve him of some doubt.” Captain Moltzar smiled off to say this in feeling that in due time, they all will learn to get by with change, & that for Spike, maybe an encounter with a sibling that they’ve seen recently may help the baby Dragon even more.

With that, the Dragons of Equestria continue their duty to clear the forest of any Shadow Creatures in the area as something was seen flying over the dragons to head towards a certain direction. We shall have to wait & see what comes forth from here.

Starlight trots back and forth in the council room. She doesn't feel comfortable of staying in the guest room. Not if it's Spike's brother's room. The mare is worried that her now former friend will hate her more for staying in there.

Just then, Starlight spots Spike coming in, making her worried. What will he say? What will he do?

"Starlight, I want to say I'm sorry for being jerk to you." Spike said with a sigh to Starlight.

"Spike, you don't have to-!" Starlight said in concern, worried that Spike was being forced to apologize.

"No, I have to! It's not because I feel guilty but how stupid I was. I realize that what I really was Twilight to accept my other family members. And this is the one I wanted. Twilight hated my dark brother so much because of the incident. And now, she didn't... Thank you. And sorry for being jerk."

"Spike, thank you for accepting me as a friend..."

"Of course, I will need time to get used to my new family...and still wanting to remember my old brother. I don't want to forget about him and accept his death too easily." Spike said to Starlight with a sigh.

"I understand, we will do our best to help." Starlight said to Spike with a nod while hugging him. "We will get through this. I know he will want you to try."

Spike and Starlight continues hugging some more. The Dragon is wondering if his old brother is watching, even though he no longer exist. Spike hopes so...and even if he will no longer see him or no longer remember his name (at least right now)...

Spike will do his best.

Rarity decided to take her friends to Shorty Thinking. She explained about Twilight and her family that they have some confusion and problems about their memories.

"There's a way to restore our memories?" Twilight ask Shorty as the group goes through the lab.

Shorty nodded as he explains while working on some sort of machine, "That's right, Twilight. By using this machine, it will help us to restore your memories. I call it 'Restore'."

Twilight and her friends looked at several giant metal beds-like objects with control panels and holographic screens.

"Restore?" Ben ask Short curiously.

"Right, I think we will be doing some sleeping to get the new memories." Nyx said thoughtfully. "Of course, I hope we don't forget the old ones."

"You won't, I don't want Spike to forget about his old brother." Shorty said in assuration to the ones still confused about their new world as a result of the time travelling progress.

Pinkie squealed happily, "This is like Animus from Assassin's Creed! They used it to relive in the ancestor's lives of how and what really happens!"

"That's right, Pinkie though mostly the relive part. It's not only that, but it also help me repair and restore the lost memories by having two or more friends that share the same event or memories from the past."

"Then that means-!" Twilight exclaims in surprise, realizing what Shorty has in mind here.

Shorty smiled as he answers, "I can restore and reconnect the lost memories. And of course, I can check and recheck on the false memories or virus within your mind. Trust me, this will work."

"So what gives you the idea?"

Rarity nodded as she answers that question, "Shorty asked for my advice about the project he wanted to work on. So I comes across the Inspiration and Remembering of what is important of why I built the Canterlot Boutique in the first place."

Rainbow smirked while joking to her friend, "I bet you liked him..."

Rarity groaned in annoyance by that, "For your information, Dash - he and I are just friends!" She wouldn't just fall for Shorty just like that. The mare got standards!

"Let's get down the business. So, where do you want to start?" Shorty ask, wanting to know where the Sparkle wished to start on their memory recovering progress.

"Start with the Demon Pony. I've get the feeling that something is amiss about my memories and others." Ben said, wanting to get to the memory of the adventure involving his return and his Demon Pony status.

"Good decision. Just laid down on the bed and be ready. Restoration begins now."

Twilight and her friends begin to sleep on the metal beds. The holographic screens appeared and went over their heads. Shorty typed on the keyboards of control panels. Restoration begins...

I assure you folks, Spike isn't accepting Lorcan's demise and his new family, moving on just yet. I figure if I wait a few stories, Spike will accept this.
