Chapter 1

It was under the Iron Pony Competition at the last month of summer, and both Applejack and Rainbow Dash did not win.

But there was still leaves to shake of, so the two ponies raced on in the sunny Whitetail Wood.

The two ponies crossed the forest, and passed by several small villages under the way.

Later that evening, as they found a shortcut to Ponyville where they greeted by their friends.

The two ponies were tired after the long run, so they went to bed.

That next day, was Rainbow Dash and Applejack talking about a vacation, so they went to Twilight and asked where to go.

"Trottingham is a village with mines full of gold, and you have to make a full days jorney!" Twilight said to her friends.

"Rarity had only talked about it, and that place sounds interesting!" Applejack said to Twilight.

"But beware of Diamond Dogs in the forest by the village!" Twilight said to her friends.

So later on, was Rainbow Dash and Applejack leaving Ponyville behind, as they was on the road to Trottingham.

The two ponies crossed Canterlot, and went up in the mountains.

They was both tired of crossing mountains, as they reached a forest.

"I'm so tired that I can't walk any longer!" Applejack said to Rainbow Dash.

"Me too! But we have to cross this forest before dark!" Rainbow Dash said to Applejack.

The two tired ponies began to argue of which shortcut to take, as something ran through the forest.

"Hurry up! We don't have time to argue!" Rainbow Dash said to Applejack.

Something fast way on the through the forest, and the sun was setiting.

Then they suddenly met the Diamond Dogs, and they surrounded the ponies.

"But hello! A lovely forest isn't it?" a dog said to the ponies.

"I protect you!" Rainbow Dash said to Applejack.

But before they knew it, was two friends showing up.

It was Soarin' and Spitfire, who came to the rescue.

Soarin' and Spitfire knocked the dogs out, as they rescued their two friends.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" Soarin' asked the two ponies.

"We are on the way to Trottingham!" Rainbow Dash said to her two friends.

"I have family there, but we better get going before more dogs shows up!" Soarin' said to Rainbow Dash.

So at least was Rainbow Dash and her friends reaching Trottingham, as they went to bed in a pub by that small village.

Rainbow Dash could not sleep in the room with her friends, as she had a nightmare.

Ponyville was in chaos, and a dragon like monster was there.

She woke up in the remains of Cloudsville, and saw his friends turned grey while they was lost in a battle.

Then Rainbow Dash saw Applejack crying, as Rainbow Dash wished Cloudsville back.

But everypony was insane, and the buildings did not stand right.

So Rainbow Dash she awoke, as she gasped.

"What awoke you?" Soarin' asked Rainbow Dash.

"Don't tell anypony, but Ponyville was in chaos in my dreams while I could not help Applejack!" Rainbow Dash said to Soarin'.

"I'm happy you knew Applejack since you were fillys, and I think nothing will happen to good old Ponyville!" Spitifre said to Rainbow Dash.

"After me and Applejack got our cutie mark, was we meeting for the first time at the Summer Sun Celebration fair!" Rainbow Dash said to her two friends.

So Rainbow Dash and her friends went to sleep again, while they went for a walk in the small village the next morning.

"The Diamond Dogs they got banished from here by Princess Celestia, and they was this village's most wanted!" Soarin' told her friends.

"Now they come up by night in this forest that we passed, and deep in the gold mines too where nopony will set foot after dark!" Soarin said.

The next morning, were Rainbow Dash and her friends leaving Trottingham, while they returned to Ponyville.

On the way home, did they have a break in the other village Hoofington where Trixie was told to come from.

Rainbow Dash and her friends visited the library in Hoofington nwhere there was archives withstories about Hoofington's history, the wildlife and it's neighbour villages.

The big library was the only thing worth visiting in Hoofington, so the four friends went home.
