The King of Monsters: Truly a force to be reckoned with. But can he stop an alien race from taking over Equestria? Second Part of the Dapperverse!

This is the story of Godzilla, King of the Monsters, and how he stops an alien threat with the help of Captain Gordon, Onyx, and other ponies.

This is the Second Part of the Dapperverse!

Please note that this story's title has been changed! It was previously known as "Godzilla Versus Zilla!"

It also contains spoilers to the Toho movie; "Godzilla: Final Wars!" If you have not seen the movie but want to, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Prologue

Nearly 50 years ago, in 1954, pony kind created a weapon. A nuclear weapon. A test that occurred shortly after the creation awakened a beast. This test was not as it appeared... They were trying to kill it... A King of all Monsters... Godzilla.

Godzilla grew angry with pony kind and became vengeful, trying to show ponies that nuclear power is not to be trifled with. They didn't really get the message...

Over the next 50 years, Gojira, or Godzilla as he is called by the American ponies, has fought a wide variety of monsters. These include the dreaded King Ghidorah, Gigan, Space Godzilla, Destoroyah, and many others.

Godzilla is soon classed as an Earth Defender, part of a faction of monsters who protect Equestria. These Earth Defenders protect the planet from the evil Mutations.

Around the year 1990, Godzilla was encased in ice by Captain Douglass Gordon, a member of the GDP. The king is encased in Antarctica, a remote continent where Godzilla can not do any harm to anypony...

Until he escapes...

-Atlantic Ocean-

Waves lashed against the cargo ship's sturdy hull, rocking it back and forth as it made it's way towards Manehattan. Rain poured against it's deck as crew members prepared to dock. They were almost at their destination.

"This is your captain speaking. We will be arriving to our destination, shortly." the intercom said.

"Finally!" Ash pelt grumbled. It felt like he had been at sea for months. Ash pelt swiveled his grey head as a deep rumbling caught his attention. "What the-?" he said as a group of rocky protrusions bumped the side of the ship.

Trotting to the edge of the cargo boat, Ash pelt watched with wide eyes as the rocks suddenly went below the surface of the water.

"What's up?" Scarlet Blitz asked, walking up to Ash Pelt with a worried expression on her face.

"The sky." Ash answered sarcastically.

"Har, har. But seriously, what's eatin ya?" she asked again.

"I can't shake this feeling that something bad is going to happen." Ash Pelt acknowledged, his mane and tail bristling as he said the words. Ash Pelt stared over the edge, watching for the rocks.

Scarlet must have noticed his expression. "Ash?"

"Hmm?"

"What's going on? You're acting strange." she said, a confused look crossed her face.

Suddenly, the cargo ship steeply rocked back and forth, throwing Ash Pelt and scarlet to one side of the ship.

-Manehattan, The Ratchet Brothers Auto Shop-

The young stallion gazed down at the heavy piece of steel before him, his eyes dropping slightly. Onyx had been up since three o'clock in the morning, working in his older brother's shop.

"Unnnggghhh." the stallion groaned as he put a welding mask over his head. He was very clearly, well... TIRED. At that moment, Onyx's older brother, Ratchet, let himself in. The bell jingled as it clanged against the glass door. Onyx took the welding mask off to greet his brother.

"Mornin, Onyx! Sure is pourin out, ain't it?" Ratchet yelled, cheerfully. Seeing Onyx's tired state, Ratchet continued, "Well, YOU look tired!"

"Yeah." Onyx said with a sigh. He then flipped the mask back onto his head as he went to retrieve a blow torch, his greasy hooves clomping across the cement floor.

Ratchet nearly jumped out of his fur when he heard a loud CLANG! followed by some cursing and "I'M OKAY!" The eldest stallion chuckled to himself before retreating to the office to check for any messages on the telephone's receiver.

-One Hour Later-

Sparks flew as Onyx put the blow torch's hot flame to the metal. Fortunately, the welding mask shielded his eyes from the flurry of blinding light.

Dipping the red hot metal into a barrel of water, smoke almost immediately shot from the water like a cauldron. Onyx smiled in satisfaction as Ratchet exited his office, slamming the door with a back leg as he gazed down at a sheet of paper.

"Hey, Ratchet!" Onyx said as his brother paced by him, only waving a forehoof as he walked to a motorized carriage. "What's going on?" he asked, setting the steel slab on a workbench.

"Oh, I have to fix another one of these stupid rust buckets." he replied, flatly, pointing to the carriage and kicking it.

"Those things are a pain, aren't they?" Onyx said.

"Mm hm."

"Good luck with that then."

"Yeah, sure!" Ratchet said with a look of disgust.

-Atlantic Ocean-

"RRGGHH!" Ash Pelt yelled as he was thrown across the cargo ship like a rag pony.

"ASH, HELP!!" Scarlet Blitz screamed. The stallion stared down with horror as his girlfriend was thrown into the water.

"NO!!" the stallion roared, sliding down and grabbing Scarlet by the hoof. At that moment a deafening shriek flowed through the air. Ash Pelt's eyes widened with terror as a massive creature broke the surface of the water. The heroic stallion then pulled Scarlet onto the deck as the tremendous beast took a swipe at the ship's hull, shredding it like aluminum.

Scarlet stared, tears streaming down her cheek, as Ash Pelt was flung into the water. "Ash." she whispered, her voice trembling with cold and sadness. She could clearly see his eyes closed as his lifeless body fell into the water with a splash.

Ash Pelt was dead...

Scarlet closed her eyes as the sounds of shrieks and bellows blended with the sounds of thunder. All around the mare, shipping containers were sliding into he water. Rain ran down her chest and back as the moment of her boyfriends death played through her head over and over again.

Suddenly, Scarlet Blitz found herself thrown through the air before striking a solid piece of wood... HARD. She gasped for breath before slowly losing consciousness...

-The Coast of Manehattan-

"Hey. Helloo? Wake up! C'mon! WAKE UP!" The words continued to play through Scarlet's mind as she began to wake up. "Ah, Finally. I was wondering when you were gonna wake up." a voice said.

"What are you talking about?" Scarlet grumbled as she propped herself onto her elbows and looked around the area. "Where am I? Who are you? And where's Ash?" she asked the light blue mare before her.

"Whoa! Slow down there, girl! One question at a time!" she said with her hooves jokingly in the air. "I don't know any Ash fellow, but the name's Frost Bloom. Friends call me Frost. And YOU, my fine mare, are on the Coast of Manehattan. We should get you to a doctor. Nasty bump on your head there."

Scarlet took a moment to process the words. Then it hit her; Ash was dead, killed by the monster... Frost Bloom watched as the mare buried her head in her hooves and began to sob, her shoulders moving up and down.

"Hey, what's wrong? Is it something I said? I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to offend." Frost said with a worried look.

"It's not you." Scarlet sniffed, turning her head to the warm sand.

"It doesn't have anything to do with that cargo ship over there, does it?" Frost Bloom asked, pointing to a massive ship with three tremendous gashes on the side.

"Oh my gosh." Scarlet mumbled as the sight of the cargo ship's wreckage caught her attention.

"Hey." Frost began, "You got a name?"

"Scarlet Blitz."

"Nice to meet you. Now, can you recall anything that happened to this boat?" Frost said.

"A little bit. But just barely, and it's really hazy." Scarlet replied as she made her way to a massive shipping container, leaving hoof prints in the soft sand.

"I don't have anything but time, to hear what you have to say."

-Coast of Manehattan-

"Until the ship was destroyed, I worked for this shipping company called Manehattan Cargo." Scarlet Blitz told Frost Bloom with a sad look across her face.

"Mm."

Scarlet continued, "This one day, the boss was showing us a bunch of new guys. This one stallion seemed to glow." she said, slightly smiling.

"What was he like?"

"Oh, he was smart and handsome. And VERY, strong. Anyway, I was showing him what to do at the Manehattan Cargo, and he was friendly enough. He went by the name Ash Pelt, if you can believe that and he listened to everything I had to tell him. I soon began to love him.

"How were things going between you two?" Frost Bloom asked.

"They couldn't have been going better." Scarlet replied. Her smile then vanished and tears came to her eyes.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound..." Frost said, stopping abruptly. She then leaned forward and wrapped Scarlet in a hug.

"I miss him so much." the mare sobbed into Frost's shoulder. Frost Bloom slowly patted Scarlet's back, squeezing the broken hearted pony in a hug.

"Things will sort themselves out. Don't worry." Frost Bloom whispered into Scarlet's ear.

-Manehattan, The Ratchet Brothers Auto Shop-

"Seriously, now." Ratchet growled, glaring down at his snoring brother. The welding mask still covered the young stallion's head, which was slumped against an office chair. -Lazy, son of a gun- the mechanic thought to himself, angrily. His thought process was interrupted when he spotted a news reporter van speed past the auto shop. "What the heck?"

Ratchet poked his head just outside the shop doors and stared down the road in the direction that the van had gone.

Wiping his grubby hooves, Ratchet, curiously hiked in the van's direction. It lead his to Manehattan's Western shore, where two mares were surrounded by news reporters.

-Better lend em a hoof- Ratchet thought to himself.

-Manehattan's Western Coast, a Few Minutes Later-

"Can you tell us what happened?" one new reporter asked.

"How did you find the ship?" another said.

"Where you involved in the Manehattan Cargo company?"

And the questions went on and on.

"Come on guys! Give the girl some space! She's goin' through a LOT right now!" Frost Bloom yelled.

"Yeah, c'mon guys! Give the two a little space!" a voice boomed. The reporters swung around to see a large stallion, about the height of the famed Bic Mac, walking toward the group. Frost Bloom immediately clenched her teeth.

Scarlet glanced at Frost Bloom. -She doesn't like the looks of this guy either- she thought, noticing the mare's expression.

"Mister Ratchet!" the lead news reporter exclaimed, "This is a pleasant surprise."

"Yeah, okay. Scram, guys." the one called Ratchet said with a flat tone to his voice.

"Excuse me?!"

"GO." he repeated, defiantly.

At that moment, a younger stallion stumbled down the path, a look of exhaustion crossing his face. He reminded Scarlet of one of those steam punk ponies that did a lot of mechanic work. From a distance, the mare could clearly see his grey-brown fur grimy and oily from work.

Ratchet must have seen her expression, for he swung his head around. "Onyx!" he exclaimed, "About time, you woke up!"

"What'd I miss?" the pony called Onyx called, groggily. The young stallion was completely oblivious to a large piece of drift wood in front of him. At that, his hoof struck it with a dull thud. "Ow! Gosh, dang it!" he yelped before face planting into the soft sand. "I'm okay!" he yelled as he spat sand from his mouth.

Ratchet rolled his eyes as Onyx came to greet his older brother.

"Hey, Animal." Onyx called to one of the news reporters. "How's the family?"

"Fine." the stallion grumbled. He wasn't particularly fond of the Ratchet brothers.

"Can somebody tell me what is going on here?!" Frost Bloom yelled. Scarlet Blitz gazed at Frost with wide eyes.

"I would be happy to." Animal answered. "We were here to investigate the cargo ship wreckage when these two idiots," Ratchet and Onyx exchanged glances. "Came along and interrupted us."

"What's to interrupt? You guys didn't give us time to ANSWER the flipping questions!" Frost Bloom exclaimed.

Just then, a crowd of ponies began to flood down the beach, surrounding the cargo ship's remains. Several police ponies had to mark the area with bright yellow police tape.

News reporters filmed the area, bombarding the police with questions in the same manner that they had with Frost Bloom and Scarlet. Ratchet shrugged his shoulders and decided it best to leave unnoticed. "C'mon, Onyx!" he yelled over the sound of the crowd.

"OKAY!" his younger brother replied.

Scarlet made her way to the edge of the crowd. She gazed at Onyx for several moments, noting the uncanny resemblance to Ash Pelt. Frost Bloom trotted up next to her new friend and said, "Don't go near those guys. You only need two words to describe 'em; BAD NEWS." she said, watching them leave the beach.

"I don't know, Frost." Scarlet said, still staring at Onyx, "They seem nice enough."

Frost Bloom slowly shook her head. "Looks can be deceiving."

"I don't feel so good." Scarlet exclaimed, rubbing the bump on her head.

"You don't look so good either." Frost began. "How 'bout I take you to my apartment to get some rest.

"That would be nice."

The Reptilian Eye of Zilla

-Manehattan, the Mayor's Office-

"Oh my God." the mayor whispered, staring with horror at the television screen. It depicted a cargo ship on the Western Coast of Manehattan, three long, jagged gashes on it's side. "What in the name of Celestia happened?" he asked himself as a news reporter described the wreckage.

-Manehattan, Frost Bloom's Apartment-

"Now you just lay there, quietly for a few minutes, while I get you some tea." Frost Bloom told Scarlet as she set a damp washcloth on the mare's forehead.

"Okay." Scarlet Blitz murmured.

Frost Bloom made her way to her apartment kitchen and placed a tea kettle on the stove. "Poor, girl." she whispered to herself as the kettle began to whistle like a train horn. With a quiet sigh she pulled the pot off of the stove and carefully poured it into a tea cup.

"Here you go." Frost Bloom said as she came entered the living room with a steaming cup of tea. She then set it down on the table and said, "Drink this. It should help a little bit."

"Thank you." Scarlet whispered, propping herself up to take the tea.

-Manehattan, Ratchet Brothers Auto Shop-

With a metallic clang, Onyx slammed the sledge hammer against the steel screw, forcing it into the wall a little bit at a time. "There we go." he said with a satisfactory smile on his face.

"What are you doing now?" Ratchet called.

"Not enough wall hooks." Onyx answered, not looking up from the nail.

"Okaaay." Ratchet said slowly.

Suddenly, the ground shook beneath Onyx's feet, causing the lights to flicker for a moment. "What the in the world? Ratchet! Power's goin a little screwy again!" he called.

"I don't think that's the power." Ratchet said with wide eyes as he exited his office. Then, going to the shop's front door he watched and waited... Again, the ground shook. All down the street, lights flickered.

Ratchet watched as a forest green helicopter flew overhead, it's rotors rapidly spinning.

"What's going on?" Onyx asked with a worried expression crossing his dirty face.

"To be completely honest, brother, I haven't the slightest clue." he said, still watching the helicopter. The ground shook again, startling the two brothers. The ground just continued to shake, the lights flickering with each tremor.

Ratchet watched with horror as a massive shape lunged from the corner of a building, slamming massive jaws on the helicopter. With a tremendous explosion, the helicopter went out of control and slammed into the street, throwing shards of metal through glass windows.

Ratchet ran back into the shop. "Go hide, NOW!" he yelled at Onyx.

"Ratchet, what are you talking about? What's going on?!" Onyx asked in a panic.

"It doesn't matter! Just HIDE! And shut up!" the stallion boomed.

-Manehattan, Frost Bloom's Apartment-

Scarlet Blitz slowly roused from her sleep, woken by a long shriek. "What the heck?" she mumbled. "Where am I?" she asked herself. Scarlet then remembered that Frost Bloom had taken her to her home.

Frost Bloom entered the room with wide eyes. Her pupils were just little dots as she pointed at the window with a shaky hoof. Scarlet slowly turned her head and stared. A gigantic, flaming orange eye was staring right back at her. All that Scarlet could see of the beast was it's eye. It's eye was the size of the bloody building!

"W-what i-is it?" Frost Bloom asked in a tiny, horrified voice. Scarlet was too scared to answer. The creature stared at her with the unblinking gaze of a snake... A giant snake.

The mare moved as slowly as she could toward the exit, her eyes not moving off of the reptilian beast as it followed her every movement.

-Manehattan Military Head Quarters-

"What in the name of Celestia IS that thing?!?" Commander Hurricane yelled, watching as a tremendous creature destroyed a military helicopter like it was made of tinfoil.

"We're not sure, Commander Hurricane, but we are getting reports that it had destroyed one of the Manehattan Cargo's ships." a stallion in silver armor beside the winged military leader said.

"How many lives were lost?" Hurricane asked, still watching the scene.

"Countless numbers, Sir. Only one survived the disaster; a mare who goes by the name Scarlet." he answered.

"I don't care about the name. All I want to know is what the flipping son of a b**** is!" Commander Hurricane yelled. "I want that thing dead, before more lives are lost! Oh, and I'm going out. You're in charge while I am gone!" he continued.

"Yes, Sir!" the stallion said, clicking his hooves together and saluting the superior officer and exiting the room.

-Manehattan, Ratchet Brothers Auto Shop-

Onyx repositioned himself underneath the desk, his leg loudly popping before getting comfortable. "Ratchet?!" he whispered. "You there?"

"Shut up!" a voice replied.

Onyx rolled his eyes. Sometimes Ratchet could be just a little hot-headed. The mechanic didn't particularly enjoy his brother's trait. It usually resulted in Onyx getting pissed off.

With a loud sigh, Onyx peeked out of his hiding spot at the window. He couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. Out of the ordinary, that is, until a group of tanks slowly drove by. Onyx counted at least four military vehicles, heading East. -What the heck?- he thought as the large machines moved by.

-Manehattan, Frost Bloom's Apartment-

Scarlet Blitz could feel her entire body trembling with fear as she moved. The mare was scared out of her mind of the beast that killed Ash Pelt, her boyfriend.

Suddenly, the beast before her shrieked in a voice louder than thunder. On impulse, the mare put her hooves over her ears. Frost Bloom went into an almost mirror image.

With a curious sniff, the dinosaurian beast pushed on the glass, shattering it.

The beast then tried to stick it's head into the building. When it failed, it began to use it's tongue, feeling the furniture with the slimy muscle. MAN, did it smell terrible.

The tongue slowly began to approach Scarlet. The horrendous smell of fish was all that she could smell as the tongue continued to approach. Then, it wrapped around Scarlet's leg.

"AAAAGGGHH!" Scarlet screamed as the muscle pulled her toward the gaping jaws.

"SCARLET!" Frost shrieked in fear. She then, desperately looked around her for a weapon to defend her friend. -The Glass!- she thought, lunging toward it as Scarlet tried her best to wrench herself free of the slimy mass.

Frost Bloom snatched a shard of glass from the floor and swiftly jabbed the beast's tongue, over and over again, not stopping until Scarlet was free and the monster was shrieking in pain and agony. "You okay?!" Frost asked as she dropped the bloody glass on the floor.

"Yeah." Scarlet said with a faint voice. "I'm good. But we should go."

"Agreed!"

Commander Hurricane's Counsel With Princess Celestia

-Manehattan, Ratchet Brothers Auto Shop-

Onyx cautiously pulled himself out from under the desk. His body ached from being in a ball for nearly half of an hour. "Ow." he said to himself as a loud thundering followed by tremors in the ground and the lights flickering rapidly echoed across the buildings.

What he saw next was the strangest thing he'd ever seen. A tremendous, scaly foot slammed into the ground in front of the shop. "Ratchet!" he called.

"What, now!"

"Was the reason you told me to hide because of a giant dinosaur?!"

"No comment!" came his brother's voice.

-The Gates of Canterlot-

"Ah, Commander Hurricane! Good to see you!" Starswirl exclaimed, opening the gates.

"Hello, Starswirl. I need to see Princess Celestia. It's VERY urgent." Hurricane said after taking his helmet off.

"Go ahead." the old unicorn said.

"Thank you."

-Five Minutes Later-

"Hello, Commander." Princess Celestia said, a subtle and warming smile across her face.

After briefly bowing to the royal alicorn, Thunder Hooves rose back up. "Your majesty. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but something bad is happening in Manehattan."

Celestia's smile vanished. "Whatever is the problem?"

Commander Hurricane sighed briefly before saying, "Manehattan is being attacked by a giant creature resembling a dinosaur, as we speak. My military forces are doing their best to protect the citizens but I fear they can not do it for long."

"I see." Princess Celestia said calmly.

"I suggest we use nuclear power to kill the monster."

"That's an idea. But what about the fallout?" Celestia asked.

"We lure the beast to the ocean, where we use a nuclear bomb to kill the beast." Hurricane said.

Princess Celestia contemplated the situation. Commander Hurricane's idea was certainly a fascinating one. But would it work? She didn't know for sure, and she didn't want to take chances.

"Commander. While that is certainly ONE way to do things, it is also a very dangerous way to do things." she said.

"I understand, your majesty."

"Instead, go back to Manehattan. Seek out the brothers known as Ratchet and Onyx. They are capable of building a weapon that can destroy the beast that you fear may destroy the city." she said with confidence.

"Yes, your majesty." Commander Hurricane said, glumly, "But how will I find them?"

"The stallions own a shop called 'The Ratchet Brothers Auto Shop'. It should be easy enough to find." Princess Celestia answered.

"I won't let you down!" Hurricane boomed, saluting the princess.

-Tokyo, Neighpon-

The long cracking of buildings was the least of Tokyo, Neighpon's residents. A flashing blue light caught the attention of many. Followed by a burst of blue light. The King of Monsters had arrived.

A shrieking bellow echoed across the city of Tokyo as a massive shape pushed it's way across the crumbling metropolis. The military's weapons were useless for defending the citizens of Neighpon, and even nuclear weapons are useless against the saurian.

Godzilla swiveled his head and flared his nostrils, as if sensing something... Another monster. The king's pupils constricted like a cat's eyes as the beast suddenly changed it's heading, leaving a flattened and barely recognizable Tokyo behind him.

Diving into the ocean's depths, Godzilla won't be seen in Neighpon again for many years.

-Manehattan, Ratchet Brothers Auto Shop-

Onyx raced to the shop door, staring with wide eyes as the giant, spiky dinosaur bellowed angrily and dove into the ocean's waves. He then saw two ponies in the distance; a light blue one and a silver one.

Looking closely, he recognized the ponies as the two mares who were on the beach.

"Onyx!" Ratchet yelled, surprising the young stallion.

"Jeez! Don't do that! You almost gave me a heart attack!" Onyx angrily yelled at his older brother.

"Get your tail INSIDE!" Ratchet yelled at Onyx.

"Yeah. In a minute!" the pony hollered as he ran after the two mares. Onyx cautiously rushed toward the two as fast as his legs could carry him.

-Manehattan-

"AAAH!" Frost Bloom screamed as an electricity pole slammed into the street in front of the two mares, shooting sparks across the road. Scarlet screeched to a halt. The two mare's had nowhere to go. Frost turned her head and to see Scarlet, tears streaming down her cheek. Frost Bloom shook her head sadly as she realized that they were about to die at the claws of the beast that killed Scarlet's boyfriend.

"YAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHH!!" a battle cry sounded off. Just then, a young stallion leapt through a wave of flame. It was the stallion who had hit his hoof on the drift wood.

"What in the name of Celestia are you doing?!" Frost Bloom screamed at the mustang, who reeled back in defense, raising his front hooves into the air.

"Sorry! No time to talk!" he said, hoisting Scarlet onto his back. "If you want to live, I suggest you follow me!" he yelled, leaping back through the flame without the slightest hint of fear.

-Crazy idiot!- Frost bloom thought before closing her eyes and jumping through the flame as well.

Onyx led the two mares back to Ratchet's shop, sprinting as fast as he could (despite the pony on his back). Ratchet was not overly ecstatic that his brother brought company.

"Why are they here?!" Ratchet asked, a slight tone of irritation on his voice.

"Well that makes two of us." Frost Bloom grumbled, noticing Ratchet's unamused look.

Onyx let Scarlet off of his back before answering Ratchet's question, "They were about to die! I couldn't just LEAVE them there!" he yelled.

"You deliberately disob-" Ratchet was interrupted by no other than Commander Hurricane, entering the auto shop. The commander stood at the entrance, brushing dust from his navy blue armor. Commander Hurricane then took off his helmet and paused looking first at Onyx, and then Ratchet, as if figuring out if they would make fine soldiers.

Finally, he spoke, "I am looking for the brothers, Ratchet and Onyx." he said, "Do you know where I can find them?"

Ratchet shrugged his shoulders before saying, "Yer looking at 'em." Then leaning toward Onyx he whispered, "We'll finish this little conversation later on." He turned back to Commander Hurricane. "What can I do for you?"

"I have been ordered by Princess Celestia, to have you two build a weapon that will deal with this little pest problem." he answered, gesturing toward the two brothers.

Ratchet couldn't help burst out laughing. "LITTLE pest problem?! That thing has feet the size of a carriage. Is that your definition of LITTLE?! Oh, I think your going a little nuts, my friend." Ratchet said, placing a hoof on Commander Hurricane's shoulder.

Commander Hurricane stared at the mechanic with a flat expression.

"My condolences about this, Commander. My brother has no respect for important people like yourself." Onyx chimed in, pushing Ratchet out of the way. Hurricane's expression remained the same.

"No need for apologies." he said at last. "But you two need to come to Canterlot. As for your friends-" he said at last, glancing at the two mares.

"We are NOT friends." Frost Bloom growled.

"They can come along, I guess." Hurricane said, ignoring Frost's remark.

"Why, exactly, do we need to come to Canterlot?" Onyx asked with wide eyes. He had never been outside of Manehattan, so this was a big opportunity for him to meet new people.

"Princess Celestia has considered many options in this monster problem. She had finally decided it best to put her trust into you, the Ratchet brothers, to build a weapon that will rid this city of the beast." the commander replied, pointing at the brothers

"Well..." Ratchet began.

"The heck with it! Yeah, I'll do it!" Onyx boomed, startling everypony.

"What? Onyx... but... no. FINE. I'll do it too." Ratchet grumbled, rolling his eyes.

"Good!" Commander Hurricane said, smiling.

-Pacific Ocean-

Godzilla's long tail swept back and forth as he followed his senses. Another monster had made landfall in a city near the Atlantic Ocean. Air bubbles flowed from his maw as he went to the surface of the ocean for a breath.

-Canterlot Castle-

Princess Celestia paced the room, her mind overflowing with questions about the monster who was responsible for the death of almost an entire crew of the Manehattan Cargo, along with it's ship. -What is it? Where did it come from? How do we stop it?-

She was still pondering these questions when Commander Hurricane entered the room, followed by what the princess assumed were Ratchet and Onyx. And two mares.

"Your Majesty," Hurricane started, bowing briefly. "I have brought to you, the Ratchet brothers." he continued, presenting the two mechanics. "And... their friends." he said.

"Your Majesty." the four said in unison, bowing down.

Princess Celestia lightly chuckled to herself as they rose at the same time. It was very comical the way they did it. "Ratchet and Onyx," she began. "I understand that Manehattan has been attacked by a monster. But I have decided to trust you two to build a weapon to defeat this beast in two weeks."

"Bad idea." Ratchet muttered. Onyx brought a hoof to the back of his head. "Ow!" the eldest yelled, glaring down at his younger brother. "What was that for?!" Onyx chose to ignore him.

"Is there a problem, boys?" Princess Celestia asked, gazing at the quarreling brothers.

"No! No problems here." Ratchet declared, abruptly standing still.

"Good. Anyway, I have been told by many that you two are very good mechanics." Celestia said.

"The best." Ratchet replied.

"So I am expecting big things from you two. Big things." she said. "Now that that's settled, Commander Hurricane will lead you to the castle's shop." she continued.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Commander Hurricane replied, bowing once again. "This way." With that, the stallions exited the room, Ratchet and Onyx still quietly arguing amongst themselves.

Frost Bloom rolled her eyes before glancing at Scarlet and then Princess Celestia. "Soooo, what do WE do?" she asked the monarch. Scarlet was looking around the huge room, glancing at the ceiling and vast walls.

"Well, I could probably find something for you girls to do." Celestia replied, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. "Hm... Would you girls like to meet the Elements of Harmony?" she asked, gazing at Frost Bloom and Scarlet Blitz.

Frost practically leapt out of her fur. "WOULD I EVER!" she shouted, her voice reverberating off of the castle walls. Scarlet stared, having almost been scared to death, as Frost Bloom jumped up and down and ran around in circles.

"Calm down!" Scarlet Blitz yelled as Frost Bloom soon became a blur of icy blue.

Celestia put a hoof to her face and slowly shook her head. "I have never seen anypony so excited." she said to herself, watching as the mare suddenly collapsed to the ground, exhausted and gasping for breath. "That was almost like Pinkie Pie after having eaten an entire cake." she muttered

"I'm done now." Frost Bloom gasped as Scarlet rolled her eyes.

"Good. Now then, let's go meet the Mane 6." Celestia said.

-The Coast of Manehattan-

Colonel Obsidia gazed up at the sky, her violet eyes sparkling in the moonlight. The sound of static hissed into her ear as she listened for any signs of the giant lizard that had attacked Manehattan only 48 hours ago.

"We got nothin, Colonel." an electric voice said into her headset.

"Well, keep you eyes peeled, soldier! Commander Hurricane put me in charge!" Obsidia yelled over the sounds of tanks slowly moving along the streets.

"Roger that!" the voice said.

The colonel stretched briefly before readjusting her saddle bag. Her platoon had been sent into Manehattan to search for some kind of dinosaurian lizard. Obsidia didn't know what to think of the problem and only called it 'pest control.' She took pride in her job, though and didn't like the sarcastic. They only pissed her off.

"C'mon, you big scaly son of a b****." she growled, annoyed with the lack of action taking place. She enjoyed fighting. It was a family thing. Her father had been a marine, her older brother a pilot in the air force, and her grandparents celestial guards. Now it was her turn to fight for her country.

Colonel Obsidia gazed into the ocean's deep blue waves, watching them crash against the sandy beach. It was then that she noticed the tide drastically moving out. Fish flopped helplessly along the beach, gasping as the tide swiftly came back in.

A loud shriek caused the colonel to prick her ears to attention. Her eyes widened as she hopped of of the tank that she had been sitting on. Slowly, Obsidia slowly pulled a revolver out of an ankle holster.

Again, the shriek came, louder and longer than the last. Suddenly a massive shape loomed over her. -Oh my God- Colonel Obsidia thought as the saurian glared right into her eyes. What caught her attention was the flaming, orange eyes. They glowed brightly compared to the night sky. With a loud growl, the beast leaned down, it's head eye level with the military pegasus.

Obsidia's wings dropped as she shakily lifted the gun's barrel against the slender creature's square shaped snout. The beast blinked once before lifting it's skull and bellowing loudly enough to break the glass windows of nearby buildings.

"Lieutenant. Get your butt over here, pronto." she whispered into her walkie talkie, not taking her eyes off of the tremendous creature. She then clicked the microphone off.

-Canterlot Castle-

Frost Bloom walked down the long hallway with Princess Celestia. She could hardly contain her excitement as she thought of what the Mane 6 would thing of HER. -This is so exciting!- she thought to herself, a big grin crossing her face.

Scarlet Blitz glance at Frost Bloom, noticing the smile that nearly stretched from ear to ear. Scarlet's thoughts were not focused on the Elements of Harmony, though. They were focused on Ash Pelt.

The memory of his death played in her head over and over again. She stared at the floor as she walked. A tear ran down her cheek and fell to the marble floor.

"Well, here we are." Princess Celestia said, pointing at a doorway with her hoof.

"This is so exciting!" Frost Bloom yelled, happily.

Princess Celestia nodded in agreement and opened the door. It's hinges squeaked as it opened. Frost Bloom's jaw dropped when she saw the Mane 6 for the first time.

-Manehattan-

"OPEN FIRE!" Colonel Obsidia boomed. On cue, the echo of gunfire filled the air. The giant dinosaur screeched in pain before thundering throughout Manehattan, slamming it's long tail into buildings as it moved. The sound of explosions filled Obsidia's ears as she stared with wide eyes at the vanishing saurian. "This pest control thing is NOT what I signed up for." she muttered.

-Southern Atlantic Ocean, Marine Corps Submarine, 0600 Hours-

"Captain, we are picking up a signature. It's moving due North." the marine said, watching a large blip on the radar.

"What is it?" he replied sternly.

"We're not quite sure. But if our calculations are correct, it will make landfall somewhere around Manehattan... What a minute... It's turning around!" the young stallion said, a hint of panic in his voice as the blip turned toward the submarine. "It's picking up speed! The thing is traveling at 30 knots and going faster!"

"Well. What are you waiting for?! A written invitation? SHOOT the thing!" the captain yelled, his voice booming.

"Sir, yes, Sir!" the stallion yelled, slamming his hoof on a large button marked "TORPEDO 1"

Suddenly, the submarine jolted backward. "Holy, S***!" the captain yelled as he was flung into a steel wall. "Ouch." he grumbled. He then looked outside the submarine.

A gigantic, monster eye was staring right back...

"FIRE AGAIN!" the captain yelled, not taking his eyes off of the monster. As if the beast heard the captain, it slammed it's massive skull into the side of the sub, rupturing it. Water flooded into the submarine's interior, shorting circuits and pushing crew members around like rubber ducks.

-Canterlot Castle-

"This is it." Commander Hurricane said, showing Ratchet and Onyx the workshop that they would be working in to build a weapon.

"Whoa." Onyx exclaimed with wide eyes. His jaw dropped. The room was GIGANTIC! -They must've worked pretty flipping hard to build THIS place- he thought, walking to a work table covered with different drills and drill bits. Onyx turned to Ratchet who was probably thinking the same thing.

"Yes. It's quite impressive, isn't it?" Hurricane said with a slight smile. "This is where you will be working for the time being. I will later have somepony to assist you two while working, but for now it's just the two of you."

"Fine by me." Ratchet muttered, scanning the room. It had a concrete floor and sheet rock walls. Several work benches were lined across the shop, each one holding different tools from the next. A door was on the back wall, which Ratchet assumed was for an office, and wall hooks, each holding a specific tool, covered one wall. It was a mechanic's dream shop.

"I'll check on your progress, periodically. Good luck, boys." Commander Hurricane said before exiting the room. He slammed the door shut before Ratchet and Onyx glance at each other and shrugged their shoulders.

"Better get to work then." Onyx suggested.

"Yes... Lets."

-Manehattan-

"Dang, dang, dang, dang, DANG!" Colonel Obsidia roared furiously. The squadron had been playing cat and mouse with this beast for at least an hour, and the creature was not showing any signs of weakening. "Giant, overgrown, piece of moldy crap." she growled. The shrieking of the monster blended with the sounds of gunfire and explosions.

"Colonel!" a hazy voice said.

"I read you!" Obsidia acknowledged. A look of confusion crossed her face as she answered.

"The creature is headed for the fish docks! There's still civilians down there!" the voice said.

"Well, get them OUT of there!" Colonel Obsidia shouted into the walkie talkie, her face bright red from shouting so much.

"YES, MA'AM!" the walkie talkie buzzed. At that moment, the monster behemoth angrily bellowed. It's dark spines flashed neon green as similar colored smoke flowed from it's maw.

"Oh... my... God." Obsidia muttered, staring in a mixed emotion of awe and fear as bright green fire shot forth from the beast's jaws, obliterating a nearby building, which fell on top of a tank. A deafening explosion echoed throughout the city as the beast continued it's course toward the fish docks. Colonel Obsidia switched the channel. "Commander Hurricane, we NEED your help!"

-Canterlot Castle-

Frost Bloom felt like she had just died and gone to heaven. There was the Mane 6, standing right in front of her! "H-hi." she stammered nervously. "I'm Frost B-bloom. My f-friends call me Frost."

One with a cowpony hat was the first to answer. "Well, hi there!" she said with a western accent. "Name's Applejack." she said, holding out a hoof. Frost Bloom nervously shook hooves with Applejack. Noticing Frost's expression the mare said, "I ain't gonna bite." she then lowered her voice. "But between you and me, Pinkie Pie might."

Frost Bloom burst out laughing as a purple alicorn mare came up to her. "I'm called Twilight Sparkle. This is Spike." she said pointing to a small purple and green dragon behind her. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Frost!" she said.

"Hi." Frost Bloom said.

"Who's the one behind ya?" a cyan blue pegasus with a multi colored mane and tail asked.

"Oh, her?" Frost Bloom asked. "She's Scarlet Blitz." Scarlet waved a hoof.

"She is the only survivor to a deadly attack that took place in the Atlantic Ocean." Princess Celestia interjected.

"Oh." the pegasus said. "Well, I suppose I should tell you MY name. I'm Rainbow Dash; fastest flier in Equestria!" she said proudly, spreading her feathered wings as far as she could. "The others are Fluttershy, Rarity and-"

"PINKIE PIE!" a pink mare yelled, causing Frost to jump into the air.

"I'm capable of telling her my name myself, thank you." Rarity said to Rainbow Dash.

"Hi." Fluttershy said to Frost Bloom faintly.

"Hi." Frost replied, waving a hoof.

Scarlet wandered down the castle halls, quietly humming to herself as she glance at the paintings lining the walls.

"CRAP!! Stupid piece of junk metal!" a voice yelled, startling the mare. Slowly she approached a tall door marked "AUTO". The voice came again, angry. "Piece of flipping s***! OW!!" -Don't say swears- Scarlet Blitz thought to herself as she slowly opened the door a little bit. She saw a tall stallion fighting with an oddly shaped piece of metal. His front legs were covered with bruises. He then lifted a hammer and repeatedly slammed it into the metal, deforming it.

"Ratchet, calm down!" a voice came. It was the younger stallion that Princess Celestia had called Onyx.

"I'm tired of this stupid piece of rusty s***!" the one called Ratchet exclaimed, angrily tossing the hammer onto the workbench. "I need a break." he then said, flopping onto an office chair.

"Before you hurt yourself." Onyx said.

"Too late." Ratchet growled, covering his face with a damp washcloth.

-Manehattan Fish Docks-

The shape of the massive dinosaur put the fisher ponies into a panic. Screaming in fear, they watched as the massive shape loomed over them, snorting in irritation.

Shrieking in frustration, the saurian lowered it's head to a shipping container full of tuna. The beast lifted a clawed arm and repeatedly slashed at the container. tons of fish slid from the steel prism.

A purr like growl leaked from the beasts throat as it took a jaw full of the tuna.

-Two Hours Later-

The giant lizard crashed through the building, causing it to collapse. Helicopters filled the air, surrounding the annoyed creature. The spines lining it's back began to flicker bright green. Bellowing in anger, a burst of green fire escaped it's rectangular jaws, destroying most of the helicopters.

"We are no longer picking up helicopters two, five, six, and seven on the radar!" an electronic voice told Colonel Obsidia.

"Crap." the colonel grumbled angrily "Ah, the heck with it!" Obsidia then yelled. Suddenly, sand colored wings sprouted from her back. With one swift wing beat, she was airborne, her revolver poised to fire at the beast.

The revolver bucked in her hoof as bullets shot from the barrel at lightning speed, striking the monster's armored head. "Yeah that's right. Over here!" Obsidia yelled as the creature turned it's head to face the colonel. She could feel it's hot breath as it glared at her, snorting angrily.

"Uh oh." she said with wide eyes as the beast opened it's jaws. With a tremendous bellow the beast slammed it's jaws shut. "You missed." Obsidia said to the angry lizard.

The monster attempted to clamp it's jaws around her again. Colonel Obsidia dodged the attack and aimed her revolver at the creature's eye. The bullet made it's mark.

A King's Arrival is Never Silenet

-Canterlot Castle-

Scarlet Blitz slowly tip-hoofed into the mechanic's shop. The stallion called Ratchet was snoring lightly. Scarlet couldn't see the one called Onyx.

Scarlet stopped to take a close look at Ratchet. The first thing she noticed was that his fur was covered with grimy, black splotches. She figure that it was oil. His front legs were covered with bruises. That was probably the result of fighting with the piece of metal.

His cutie mark was faded and covered with dirt. She could barely make out the hexagonal shape of two bolts. One was bigger than the other.

He wore a pair of shin guards similar to the ones Scarlet noticed Celestia wearing. Except his were a thick metal that had small rust patches. They were probably used to protect his legs while working.

Suddenly, Scarlet Blitz felt a hoof on her shoulder. She practically leapt out of her fur. Swinging around, Scarlet saw a near mirror image of Ratchet. But he was smaller.

"What are you doing in here?" he asked as he wiped his hooves with a greasy dish towel. A look of concern crossed his face. "Admiring ol' Ratchet, eh?"

"N-no! Not at all!" Scarlet stammered.

"Hey. It's not that big a deal 'till you make it one." he said, tossing the towel onto a workbench. "Oh, and, I never caught your name." he said.

"Sc-scarlet Blitz." she answered. "But my friends just called me Scarlet" she said looking down at the concrete floor sadly.

"CALLED you Scarlet? You used past tense. You mean to say that don't have any friends now?" he asked. Scarlet didn't answer. "Hey, I didn't mean any harm." he continued, noticing the mare's expression. "Anyhow. My name is Onyx." He then raised a hoof

"Nice to meet you, Onyx." Scarlet Blitz said, taking the hoof and shaking it.

-Coast of Manehattan-

Colonel Obsidia chased the giant lizard toward the coast, her feathered wings beating rapidly as she followed the creature. The shrieks of pain that came as a result of the bullet lodged in the beast's eye was a good sign for the colonel.

The creature thundered onto the beach, and with a tremendous leap, crashed into the ocean. Water splashed against Obsidia's wings, knocking her to the ground.

"Ow, dang it." she grumbled as she forced herself to her feet. Her left ankle was killing her. She assumed that it was broken. Her wing was bent in an odd shape. That was probably broken too. And blood ran down the side of her right back leg. A sharp piece of sea glass was lodged in her leg, causing it to bleed profusely.

It wasn't until Colonel Obsidia lifted her head that she noticed the low tide. The memory of the creature making the tides go out played in her mind like a recording.

-Why would the thing retreat, and then show back up in like 20 seconds flat?- she thought to herself. It soon became apparent that it wasn't the same monster that was making it's way to shore.

In the distance, an all too familiar sight to Obsidia and her family revealed itself. It was similar to the creature she had just been chasing. But is stood upright and it's spines were taller, more jagged. The creature also had a more muscular build.

It was the King of the Monsters: Godzilla.

Colonel Obsidia's eyes widened with horror as the smaller creature leapt from the water, onto the shore, and roared. Godzilla responded with a thunderous bellow that was ear splitting, even from several hundred meters away.

Colonel Obsidia then realized that the smaller one was the mutated lizard known as Zilla.

-Canterlot Castle-

"Is that tight enough?" Scarlet Blitz asked, handing the wrench back to the young stallion with a smile on her face. It was the best time that Scarlet had had in a long time.

"Almost but not quite yet. You gotta give it a bit of elbow muscle." Onyx replied, looking her in the eye. Scarlet looked right back at Onyx, her smile vanishing. The young stallion reminded her so much of Ash pelt that it was a little scary.

Onyx must have noticed her expression. "Hey. What's wrong?" he asked, lightly putting his hoof to her chin in almost the same manner as Ash Pelt used to do.

"Oh, it's nothing." she said, her voice dropping.

"It's nothing? I live with somepony who tries to hide his emotions all the time. I can tell when something's wrong. So, what's the problem." he said, looking at her with a concerned expression.

"You just remind me of somepony I knew. Somepony I loved." she replied. Onyx noticed tears begin to fill her eyes.

"It's gonna be okay." he said, wrapping her into his arms sympathetically. "Everything's gonna be okay."

"Well, well, well." Ratchet growled. "I must say, little brother, you know how to make friends." Onyx and Scarlet pulled away from each other with shocked expressions.

"Ratchet. It's not what you think." Onyx said, his eyebrows forming a scowl. Onyx then noticed Scarlet trying to hold back the urge to throw a hoof at Ratchet's thick head.

"Whatever. Just... get back to work, okay?" Ratchet said, walking towards the piece of metal that he had been fighting with. "Stupid piece of crap." he grumbled, staring hard at the metallic material.

"You know, Ratchet? It would be easier to work with if you heated it up!" Onyx yelled after him.

"I knew that!" Ratchet replied.

"You should get back to work." Scarlet Blitz told Onyx, turning so he couldn't see her expression. "I'll go now." she said, turning to the shop's door. Onyx watched silently as she exited.

"No! Wait!" he hollered after her. "Come back." he said. Realizing he made himself sound like a complete lunatic, he then said; "I mean, two heads are better than one, right?"

"What about Ratchet?"

"His head's nothin but air." Onyx replied with a grin

"Yeah. I guess your right. Two heads ARE better than one." Scarlet Blitz chuckled.

-Canterlot Castle, Princess Celestia's Throne Room-

"Your Majesty!" Commander Hurricane yelled as he barged into the throne room, gasping for breath. "We found out what the monster is! Unfortunately, another monster has been spotted by Colonel Obsidia!"

"What monster?" Princess Celestia asked, confused.

"GODZILLA!" he roared fearfully.

-Coast of Manehattan-

Zilla thundered onto the shore, followed by the mighty Godzilla. Colonel Obsidia could only watch as Godzilla snatched Zilla by the tail and yanked him to the beach sand. Obsidia jumped into the air, barely dodging a wave of sand as the smaller monster fell.

"Jeez! HEY, WATCH WHAT YOU'RE DOING!! YOU ALMOST KILLED ME!!" the colonel screamed at the two. Godzilla was the only one that heard the hollering, for he turned his massive head to glare at Obsidia. His hot breath blew her mane and tail back as she smiled in fear. "Uhh. Heh, heh." she laughed nervously. "By!" She then rapidly flew away, her heart pounding in her chest as she took heavy breathes of air.

"Can anybody hear me?!" Colonel Obsidia yelled into her walkie talkie. All she heard for a few moments were the sound of Godzilla clashing with Zilla, and static.

"I read you." a voice said at last. "What's going on down there, Colonel?! We've been looking all over for you!"

"Our weapons ain't gonna do crap." she said, staring at the two behemoths.

"Why is that?"

"Godzilla showed up." she said hoarsely before losing consciousness, falling to the ground.

-Canterlot Castle, Mechanic Shop, 3 Days Before Weapon Deadline-

"Almost... got it." Onyx grunted, struggling to tighten a bolt. "God, dang it!" he growled as the wrench lost it's grip on the bolt. At that moment Scarlet Blitz entered the room. seeing his struggle, Scarlet went to aid her friend.

"You need help?" Scarlet asked, pointing to the wrench and bolt.

"That would be nice." he grumbled. His face was turning red from the effort to tighten the bolt. Scarlet walked toward him and pushed on the wrench with Onyx. Finally, the bolt was tight enough.

Onyx held up a hoof. Scarlet acknowledged and bumped her hoof against it. "So I told Princess Celestia about your idea." Scarlet started, setting the wrench on a work table.

"Yeah? What did she say?"

"She was ecstatic about it! This Oxygen Destroyer idea of yours should do exceptionally well." Scarlet Blitz answered, patting Onyx on the shoulder. "Well done."

"Yeah, well, don't get TOO excited about it, my friend." a voice said. It was Ratchet's. Onyx rolled his eyes and glared hard at his older brother. "What?" he then asked.

"Ratchet, lay off of him!" Scarlet beamed at the stallion. "He works harder than I've EVER seen you work!"

Ratchet glared down at the mare, his face harder than stone. "If I wanted your opinion, I would have asked for it, short stuff!" he growled, pushing her out of the way.

Scarlet shot a look of disgust at Ratchet, who hadn't noticed her glare. "He'll be fine." Onyx assured her. "He's just jealous."

"No kidding!" Scarlet snorted. "Anyway, how's the Oxygen Destroyer coming?"

"It's almost finished!" Onyx exclaimed with excitement on his voice. "Just a few more tweaks, and it will be ready for use! I just gotta find somebody who's willing to fire it."

-Manehattan Military Medic Tent-

Colonel Obsidia slowly stirred from her sleep, groggily shaking her head, which throbbed in pain. "What the hell?" she grumbled, rubbing her forehead. "Where am I?" She then propped herself onto her elbows, looking around. She instantly recognized her surroundings as the interior of a medic's tent. She looked down at her leg, which was in a cast. A table next to her held a bloodied piece of sea glass.

"You're still in one piece!" a medic exclaimed as she entered the tent. "We thought we were gonna have to amputate!"

"What in the name of Celestia are you taking about?!" Obsidia asked, a slight hint of irritation on her voice.

"Your leg." she replied nodding at the cast. "Nasty gash, you had there. And your head. We should probably have a look at that."

"I'm fine!" Colonel Obsidia lied. Her head throbbed, but she didn't like doctors prodding and poking her, along with that "Ouch!" or "Hmm." crap that they pulled. Even worse! They would always try to make something seem like it was going to be okay even if it WASN'T.

Slipping off of the bed, Colonel Obsidia tried to leave the tent, only to be stopped by the medic. "Hold up there! You need to get back into bed. Your leg is not healed, and by the looks of things, your head hasn't gotten any better either!"

"Is THAT how you speak to a superior officer?!" the colonel retorted, a look of disgust on her face. With that, the doctor moved out of the way. "Besides," she started. "I've got three more legs to walk on."

The medic rolled her eyes and held open the tent flap for the stubborn pegasus.

"Where am I?" Colonel Obsidia asked, looking around at the rainy streets as she limped on.

-Canterlot Castle-

"So you SAVED Scarlet?" Rainbow Dash asked Frost Bloom as they walked down the hall.

"Yep." Frost replied, nodding her head. "Well, I wouldn't call it SAVING her." she then said, shrugging her shoulders. "I found her unconscious on the shore of Manehattan."

"Nonetheless, you did a kind thing." Twilight Sparkle interjected. Spike nodded in agreement.

-Canterlot Castle, Mechanic Shop-

"OW!" Ratchet yelled as his hoof slammed into something. Looking down, the stallion saw an odd item. -Must be Onyx's weapon- he thought to himself. "ONYX! Didn't I tell you not to just leave this lying around! It's dangerous!" The only response that Ratchet received was an awkward silence. "Must be asleep." he grumbled, looking around.

-Elsewhere in Canterlot Castle-

Onyx walked alongside Scarlet Blitz, a slight grin on his face as they scanned the long hallways. "Certainly is BIG in here, isn't it?" he asked her, listening to the slight echo of his voice.

"Yeah." Scarlet replied with wide eyes. She wasn't thinking of the walls, though. As much as she wanted to keep it a secret, she liked Onyx. He wasn't a cruel jerk like Ratchet. Onyx was handsome, listened to what Scarlet had to say, imaginative, and wasn't afraid of, seemingly, anything.

"Thanks for gettin me out of that shop. My back is killing me. You would be surprised how heavy that thing is!" he said thoughtfully.

"Your welcome." Scarlet Blitz replied.

Suddenly, as the two rounded a corner, they bumped into Frost Bloom and the Mane 6! "Scarlet!" Frost exclaimed. "Hi!" she said. Her surprised look vanished at the sight of Ratchet's younger brother.

"Hi, Frost." Scarlet replied.

"Who's yer friend?" Applejack asked, looking up and down at Onyx's muscular build.

"This is Onyx." Scarlet Bloom acknowledged, waving a hoof in front of the mechanic. "He's in charge of building a weapon to kill a monster who attacked Manehattan."

"A MONSTER!?!" Pinkie Pie squealed. "I've always wanted to see a monster! What was it like?! I MUST know!" she said.

"Two words for ya." Onyx began. "Big and ugly."

"That's THREE words." Frost Bloom pointed out.

"You get the gist." Onyx grumbled. "I need some coffee. Who knows where to get a good cup of joe?" Onyx then questioned, scanning over the mares with his hoof.

Nopony had time to answer before Commander Hurricane clopped down the hall. "Mister Onyx," he said "I do hope that your weapon is finished. That monster isn't the only one holding a grudge against Manehattan!" he boomed angrily, his dark blue wings flung out as he pinned Onyx against a wall.

Onyx coughed once before choking out; "Okay, okay! Get off of me!"

The commander pulled away, dropping Onyx to the marble floor. "Do NOT disappoint me." he growled. "It was a poor mistake on Her Majesty's part to hire YOU two, nincompoops to kill those things." he grumbled as he walked away, his wings neatly folding back up.

"Psycho!" the stallion muttered as he rubbed his throat, gingerly.

"Well, THAT was tense." Frost Bloom exclaimed. Even SHE, felt a little sorry for Onyx. "Are you alright?"

"I'll be fine." he replied. The Mane 6 could only stare with wide eyes at Onyx: the pony who pissed off Commander Hurricane and lived to tell the tale. "What?!" he asked, noticing their expressions. "Will you stop gawking at me and tell me what your so flipping surprised about!!" he boomed irritably.

"Yer mighty lucky!" Applejack acknowledged. "NOBODY stands up to the commander like that, except for the princesses."

"Yeah, well I have ZERO tolerance for jerks like him." Onyx growled. "And that includes Ratchet." he finished. "So! How about that cup of coffee?"

-Manehattan Military Forces-

Colonel Obsidia winced in pain as she entered the tent. It was filled with Manehattan's soldiers and the smell of smoke. "What the Hell happened?!" one soldier yelled.

"You almost had us killed!" another cried.

"Yeah, what gives?!"

Soon, the tent was full of the sound of yelling. "SHUT UP!!" Colonel Obsidia roared. The tent became dead silent. "It ain't my fault, okay?! Godzilla's arrival was unexpected. I HAD to make a few changes in the plan." she said.

"Heck! Even GORDON wouldn't have been so foolish!" a soldier yelled.

"Hey! I don't want to hear about former Captain Gordon, so shut your trap!" Colonel Obsidia retorted angrily.

"Speaking of," a military mare started, "What happened to Gordon?"

Colonel Obsidia rolled her eyes. She was tired of hearing about Captain Gordon. His reputation was not the cleanest, but he WAS a fighter. And she didn't know whether to respect the stallion or not. "Captain Gordon was placed under arrest for striking a superior officer." the colonel finally declared.

"He was a better military leader than you'll ever be!" one said.

They then all started to chant: "GORDON, GORDON, GORDON, GORDON!"

"ALRIGHT! That's enough!" Obsidia yelled. "I will check with the commander to see if Captain Gordon can help us!" With that, the sound of cheering burst from the tent.

-Military Confinement Chambers-

The muscular stallion haphazardly placed the dumbell back on the metal rack. Being the former captain of the Manehattan Military Forces (MMF), he was a robust and slightly hot tempered stallion.

A bead of sweat ran down the side of Douglass Gordon's head. The sound of a cell door opening caught his attention. Gordon swung around to see a former friend of his.

"Colonel Obsidia." he exclaimed, flatly.

"Captain Gordon." she began. Gordon raised an eyebrow. "I have been given permission to free you from military confinement for the time being." she said, unimpressed with Commander Hurricane's decision.

"The time being?" he asked sternly. "What for?"

"You are fully aware of the threat of Godzilla, correct?" Obsidia asked holding the door open for Gordon to exit.

"Aware of it!?!" Captain Douglass Gordon boomed. "I've been fighting that giant lizard since I was just a teen!"

"Good. Because we need your help killing IT and another monster known as Zilla." the colonel replied, looking Captain Gordon in the eye. His mustache twitched.

"No can do. Godzilla is as stubborn as a wild ass! You can't kill him. NOBODY can!" he grumbled, grabbing a sheath with a sword of of a wall hook and attaching it to his waist. He then grabbed a stained trench coat that was a light brown in hue.

"You HAVE to! The fate of Manehattan lies in YOUR hooves." she said.

"Then kiss Manehattan goodbye."

"RRRRRRGGGHHH! You're such a pain!" the colonel growled through clenched teeth.

"That's why you and I never had a second date." Gordon replied flatly, grabbing a holstered revolver off of a different wall hook. Colonel Obsidia stared at him with disgust. "Listen." the former captain started, "You're very pretty. I could look at you all day. But that ain't gonna kill the big lizard. He's impossible to kill. I know, I've tried to kill him countless times."

"I realize." the colonel grumbled. She wasn't amused with the "you're very pretty" remark.

"Good." Gordon said, walking out into the rainy streets. Obsidia could see the drops of rain stick out against the light brown trench coat. Suddenly, Captain Gordon stopped. "FINE. I'll try to help. Not that it's gonna to a damn bit of good."

"Good! Now it is required that you go to Canterlot." Colonel Obsidia said.

"Okay."

-Unknown Place and Time-

"These... Beings... Such an odd form. Should be easily dealt with. The likely hood of them fighting back is slim. Don't you agree, my pet?" the strange stallion said, stroking the head of a tremendous figure behind him. "let us pay them a visit."

-Canterlot Castle, Mechanic's Shop-

"There!" Onyx said in satisfaction. The Oxygen Destroyer was ready for use. "Now to find somebody who'll fire it off." he said, scanning the shop as if he thought someone would just pop up out of nowhere and volunteer.

Ratchet entered the room, water soaking his fur coat. "It's raining!" Ratchet exclaimed with a smile. It was the first time Onyx had seen him smile since he made fun of the commander.

"Really?! I didn't know that!" Onyx said sarcastically.

"What's YOUR problem?" Ratchet growled, his smile vanishing as he shook the water from his stained fur.

"MY problem?! My problem is that while you've decided to take a stroll, I'VE been breaking my back working on this weapon that's SUPPOSED to save or home!" Onyx hollered angrily.

It was the first time that Ratchet had feared his little brother.

"Okay! Okay. I get it. I just needed a little break." Ratchet said. Bad thing to say.

Now Onyx was REALLY angry. "A LITTLE BREAK?!! YOU'VE BEEN TAKING A BREAK FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS!!!!" the stallion bellowed. Ratchet wanted to go hide. Onyx was acting just like their father.

Their dead, father.

"Onyx!" Scarlet Blitz exclaimed. "Don't be like this!" she said, putting a hoof on his shoulder. Onyx furiously pulled away. His face was turning bright red.

"GET OFF OF ME! I AM DONE! YOU HERE ME?! DONE!" he boomed. Onyx then left the shop, breaking the door of the hinges. Scarlet turned and glared at Ratchet.

"Nice job."

"What'd I do?! It's not my fault!" Scarlet didn't hear. She was already after the furious pony.

"Onyx! Onyx, wait up!" she yelled after him. The stallion snorted heavily as he trudged along the castle halls.

"What for?" he growled, stopping to look at Scarlet Blitz. "I'm done. I-I just am. He chooses not to work. He does. I'm tired of it. I need some time alone for now." he replied, calming down ever so slightly.

"I know he might not be the BEST brother in the world, but at least you have family left to get angry with." Scarlet Blitz said, wrapping her arms around Onyx in a loose hug.

"Thank you." Onyx said, returning the hug.

Suddenly, a muscular figure rounded a castle corner and approached them. Onyx could clearly see a sheathed sword attached to his waist and a revolver on the other side. By the figure's side was Commander Hurricane. It was funny how much shorter the commander was than the figure.

As the pony approached, Onyx could begin to make out his features. A truck driver's mustache was above his lip. He wore a stained trench coat and a marine's cap. Badges covered the left side of his coat.

"You must be Ratchet." he said sternly, glaring down at Onyx.

"N-no. H-he's my br-brother." Onyx stammered. It was then that Onyx recognized the stallion. A fearless captain that was rumored to have been put into military confinement for hitting a superior officer.

"Then who are you?" the stallion asked.

"Y-you're C-captain Gordon." Onyx said.

"I know who I am. I was asking who YOU are." Gordon said irritably, pointing at Onyx with a hoof.

Finally, Onyx gathered up the courage to state his name. "My name is Onyx." he said. "This is Scarlet Blitz." Onyx continued, introducing himself and a mare that was standing beside him.

Commander Hurricane just stood there. It wasn't long before he said; "I apologize, Captain, but this is the fine, young stallion who built the weapon that you will be firing.

"Hmm." Captain Gordon grumbled, looking Onyx up and down. Finally, the captain stopped pondering and said; "My name is Captain Douglass Gordon."

Zilla Dies and the Ratchet Brothers Find out about their Lineage

-Manehattan-

Godzilla threw Zilla of of his back, slamming the mutant lizard into the Empire State Building. With a shriek of pain, the building collapsed on top of the saurian.

Godzilla bellowed in triumph, throwing open his fanged jaws.

Suddenly, Zilla leapt from the remains of the famous landmark and began to slash at Godzilla's side, roaring and growling. Godzilla bellowed angrily before he dug his foot into the street.

The King of Monsters then swung around and with all his might, slammed his tail into the side of Zilla's skull. The mutant shrieked in pain and agony, having it's skull completely obliterated, and fell to the ground, dead.

Godzilla unleashed a bellow louder than thunder as he slowly lumbered toward the coast. He had won one, out of a series of battles, still to come.

-Canterlot Castle, Mechanic's Shop-

"It's... Interesting." Captain Gordon said, feeling the weight of the Oxygen Destroyer in his hooves. "Very similar to the one that Serizawa built in the mid fifties." he continued.

"Serizawa?" Onyx questioned with a quizzical look on his face.

"I've heard of him!" Scarlet Blitz blurted. Gordon and Onyx both looked at her like she had three heads. She then clamped a hoof over her mouth. "Sorry." she peeped.

Captain Gordon continued; "Doctor Serizawa was a brilliant scientist who was... well, disrespected. When Godzilla first rampaged through Neighpon, Serizawa built a weapon very similar to this one here. He called it the Oxygen Destroyer. But after killing the original Godzilla, he didn't want his weapon used for the wrong purpose."

"And?" Onyx asked.

"He committed suicide and burnt the blueprints for his weapon." Captain Gordon said, examining the Oxygen Destroyer. "How did you build this?" Gordon asked, raising an eyebrow.

"To be completely honest, I don't know." Onyx replied, shrugging his shoulders.

"Oh. Woopty flippin do!" Ratchet's voice said. "Who care's about this hunk of junk?"

Captain Gordon turned to see who he assumed was Ratchet. Glaring down at the stallion he said, "This 'hunk of junk' will save the world." he growled. "So show some respect, Ratchet."

"How'd you know my name?" Ratchet asked with wide eyes.

"Your brother told me."

Ratchet shot a glare at Onyx who ignored him.

-Unknown Place and Time-

"Looks like that Godzilla is one tough, dude." the being said. "How about if you, my pet, kill him." he said, patting the monster on the head. With a tremendous screech and a flash of light, the beast was gone.

-Canterlot Castle, Celestia's Chambers-

Princess Celestia was deep in thought when, for the second time, Commander Hurricane burst into the room. "Yeees, Commander?" she said in an almost scary peacefulness.

"Zilla has been killed!" he yelled.

"By, whom?" she replied, slightly surprised.

"Godzilla." a voice replied. Hurricane swung around to see Captain Gordon. "That's who."

"Who's this?" Princess Celestia asked Commander Hurricane.

"Captain Douglass Gordon." the stallion answered for the commander. He briefly put a hoof to his forehead before yanking his sword out of it's leather sheath and throwing it's sharp edge into the marble floor, throwing small bits of the granite around. "Onyx, Ratchet's brother, built a weapon like Doctor Serizawa's Oxygen Destroyer. Are they related, or something?!"

"Captain, this is not necessary." Celestia said calmly. Captain Gordon ignored her.

"What is going ON here!" he began to yell.

"Gordon, stand down!" Hurricane said. Gordon pushed by him.

"YOU KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT THOSE TWO!" Douglass boomed, continuing toward Celestia.

"CAPTAIN GORDON!" she yelled, spreading her wings as her horn glowed with a purple aura. Suddenly, Gordon was thrown against a wall, knocking the breath out of his lungs. "If you are not going to help us, then I can have you arrested." she growled threateningly. Commander Hurricane was knocked out from the blow.

Captain Gordon spat a glob of bloody mucus to the floor. A steady stream of warm blood ran from his nostril as he gasped for breath. "Why do you fight to keep secrets?" he spat.

At that moment, a darkly colored alicorn entered the room. "Sister? What's going on? I-" Princess Luna was cut off by the very sight of Captain Gordon. "Oh my God!" she exclaimed, putting a hoof across her mouth before rushing to aid the downed stallion.

"Get off of me." he growled in response, shooting another blood clot to the floor. He then pulled his revolver from it's holster and aimed it at Princess Celestia's head.

"WHAT IS GOING ON?!!!" Luna screamed at the top of her lungs.

Captain Gordon lowered the gun. "What do you know about Ratchet and Onyx, involving their family?" he growled at Celestia's sister.

"Not much. But I do know that they had a fairly famous great grandfather." she said.

"Would his last name happen to be Serizawa?" he said, wincing in pain. Blood still ran out of his nose.

"How did you know?" she asked with wide eyes.

"Because the stallion, Onyx, has created a near exact version of Doctor Serizawa's Oxygen Destroyer. How do you think that is at all possible?" he remarked with a quizzical expression. "You know what? It doesn't matter. I'm just gonna go back to New York." he growled turning to leave.

"Captain," Celestia began. Princess Luna just stood there, bewildered and confused. "You are just the person we need to fire the Oxygen Destroyer." she said, trotting up to him and grabbing his broad shoulder.

"The Oxygen Destroyer... Isn't going to work." he growled.

"Then what do YOU suggest?" Princess Celestia asked with a hint of irritation rising up on her voice.

"The GDP have been building a secret weapon." Gordon started, pulling away from Celestia's hold. He lowered his voice; "A robotic Godzilla. It's called Mechagodzilla, or Kiryu. So you can try to kill Godzilla with your pathetic weapon ALL day, but it ain't gonna work."

Princess Celestia pondered for a moment. Finally, she spoke. "Captain Douglass Gordon. I will see to it that Kaiyu-"

"KEE-yu." Douglass corrected, rolling his eyes.

"Kiryu, is used to fight off this monster threat. Onyx's weapon is ALSO to be used." the princess continued.

"And who's gonna tell em' about Doctor Serizawa being their great grandfather?" he asked, leaning on his saber. It's sharp edge gleamed like a star. Princess Celestia wondered where he got such a fine weapon.

"You will." she acknowledged, looking up from the cutlery.

-Canterlot Castle, Mechanic's Shop-

Onyx gazed thoughtfully at the Oxygen Destroyer, his mind focused on what Captain Gordon had said about Doctor Serizawa. With a loud sigh, Onyx turned to see Ratchet next to him.

"I know I havn't been the most responsible or loving brother in Equestria, and I'm no replacement for Father, but I want you to know that you inspire me. And I apologize for pissing you off earlier. I just... miss him." Ratchet said, gazing sadly at the concrete floor.

Onyx stared at Ratchet, his gaze focused on his brother's sad look. "No." he said. "I'M sorry. I had NO right to get angry with you the way I did. I lost my temper, which wasn't okay. You're right. I miss Father too." he finished, looking Ratchet in the eye.

"I'm sorry to break up... Whatever that is, but I need to tell you something." Captain Gordon's voice said through the shop doorway. "It involves your family lineage."

Both Ratchet and Onyx jolted up at those words. "What is it?" the two asked in unison.

Captain Gordon quietly chuckled to himself. "Do you two know who your great grandfather was?" he asked.

The brothers shook their head.

"You great grandfather, based upon your creation, Onyx, was Doctor Daisuke Serizawa, the stallion who built the original Oxygen Destroyer." Captain Gordon answered, pulling a battered photo from his trench coat and handing it to Ratchet. It was a photo of the scientist himself, holding, in his hands, the dreaded Oxygen Destroyer.

Ratchet's jaw dropped, for he instantly recognized the stallion in the photo. "Father used to tell us stories about Serizawa. He never told us that we were RELATED, though."

"This was our great grandfather?" Onyx asked, taking the photo from Ratchet.

Gordon nodded, gazing at the photo. "Speaking of your father, he was a good friend of mine. Good hearted pony. And one Hell of a mechanic." the captain added.

"Did you know our mother?" Onyx asked, looking up from the black and white photo.

"Your mother? No, I never knew HER." Douglass replied.

It was then that Onyx noticed dry blood coming from his nostril. "What happened to you?" he asked, a look of disgust mixed with worry crossing his face as he asked.

"Oh, this?" Gordon said, wiping some of the blood onto his sleeve. "I got telekinetically thrown against a wall by a VERY angry alicorn." he replied. "A word to be wise; DON'T accuse the monarch of keeping secrets!" he grumbled with wide eyes.

-Godzilla Defense Ponies Neighpon Head Quarters-

"Mechagodzilla test run starting in five... four... three... two... one... Mechagodzilla is now active!" a voice on the intercom burst. With that, a screen displayed a massive robot. It had the same basic appearance as the King of Monsters. Tall dorsal spines, long tail, and a robust build.

Mechagodzilla, or Kiryu... As the Godzilla Defense Ponies called it. 65 thousand tons of pure awesome.

A telephone rang as ponies cheered at the successfully running machine. Yuji Shinoda put the phone to his ear. "This is Yuji Shinoda. How can I help you?" he asked with a Neighponese accent. "You're kidding?! NOW...? But we just started the first test run! It's not re-! Captain Gordon...? My old friend...! I will see what I can do... Okay... Bye now." Yuji said, putting the phone back on the receiver.

-30 Minutes Later-

"Everypony! I have an announcement! Please, quiet down!" the Prime Minister boomed, gesturing for the ponies to calm down. He then leaned over and covered the microphone. "Are you sure about this, Yuji?" he asked the scientist next to him.

"Absolutely positive!" he replied.

"Okay." the minister said. He then returned to the crowd's attention. "Excuse me? But could I have everypony take a seat, please?!" he yelled. "EVERYPONY, TAKE A SEAT!!" he boomed, losing his temper. With that, everypony fell dead silent, sitting down. "Thank you!" the Prime Minister said. "Now that we have that settled, I would like to introduce scientist, Yuji Shinoda!"

Yuji waved as a roar of applaud struck the air like a missile. The Prime Minister handed the microphone to Shinoda. "Thank you." he said. He then began a speech. "Now, I know that this is on short notice, but it is for good reason." he started. "I received a call from an old friend of mine, the infamous, Captain Douglass Gordon."

The crowd applauded accordingly.

"He has received word that Godzilla has made landfall in Manehattan, clashed with another monster, and returned to sea! BUT, we must take precautions! Captain Gordon has requested use of the Mechagodzilla! Now, we are all fully aware that the Mecha G may not be ready to go into battle. But it's for the lives of our citizens of Equestria!" he yelled. "Captain Gordon has volunteered to pilot the Mechagodzilla. I say... LET HIM!!"

The crowd erupted into cheering and applaud. Yuji handed the microphone back to the Prime Minister. "Now that that is settled, let's make preparations! The captain has agreed to be hear in two days time! And we want Kiryu ready for battle!"

"65 thousand tons of awesome." Yuji chuckled to himself. "Built, like a boss."

-Canterlot Castle, Military Head Quarters-

Captain Gordon finished packing his saddle bags, preparing himself for the long trip ahead. "I can't wait to see what that baby can do." he said to himself, referring to the Mechagodzilla.

Suddenly, Colonel Obsidia limped in, startling Gordon. "Hey." she said, wincing in pain.

"Don't do that!" Douglass Gordon exclaimed, glaring at the colonel.

"I came to wish you good luck on the battlefield." Obsidia said, ignoring Douglass' remark. "You're gonna need it against that THING out there." she continued. "And, by the way, that wasn't a very smart move putting your gun to Celestia's head. I'm starting to think you should've been LEFT in Military Confinement."

"You heard about that?" Captain Gordon said, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.

"Heard about it?! Half of Celestia's subjects were pissed off about it! There wasn't hardly a place to go where the situation wasn't being spoken of!" she replied, raising an eyebrow. "I'd say you lost your temper for NOTHING."

"Oh, shut your pie hole!" Gordon growled.

"Anyway. Are Ratchet and Onyx going with you?" she asked, staring at the floor.

"Yep. They have to so that they can fire off the Oxygen Destroyer." Gordon replied, not looking up from his stuff as he packed.

"I thought that YOU were firing the weapon." she said with a quizzical look on her face.

"I was." Gordon started. "But plans changed when I volunteered to pilot the Mechagodzilla. So now, ONYX is firing the weapon off." he finished as he zipped up his suitcase.

-Canterlot Castle, Mechanic's Shop-

Onyx swiftly tossed toiletries into his duffel bag, moving back and forth across the shop. Ratchet watched his younger brother speed around the shop. "Will you calm down?!" he asked Onyx.

"Are you kidding?! This is the opportunity of a lifetime. How could I possibly calm down?" he asked excitedly.

"To start, you could, oh, I don't know. SLOW DOWN!" Ratchet yelled as Scarlet Blitz entered the shop.

"Hi, guys. What's going on?" she asked as Onyx sped by her, looking at the tool rack. "What's up with HIM?" she asked, Ratchet, looking at Onyx like he had three heads.

"We're going to Neighpon to stop Godzilla." Ratchet answered flatly.

"REALLY?! Can I come?! I've always wanted to go there!" she exclaimed.

Onyx screeched to a halt and stared hard at Scarlet Blitz. "NO." he replied sternly. "I don't want you to get hurt." he continued, lightly tapping a hoof on her snout.

"Oh, knock it off!" she growled, pushing his hoof away. "I survived the attack of a 200 foot long lizard. What makes you think I can't survive this?!" she asked, glaring at Onyx.

"Because THIS lizard, is 400 feet long and dubbed 'The King of all Monsters'." he replied.

Suddenly, the entire castle shook. "What the Heck?" Ratchet muttered as the ceiling above them cracked and shook. "GET OUT!!" Ratchet boomed. "BOTH OF YOU!"

Onyx and Scarlet Blitz scrambled for the exit. Onyx screeched to a halt. "The Oxygen Destroyer!" He then spun around and raced for his weapon, stuffed it in his duffel bag, and raced from the room, Scarlet following close behind.

Then, the ceiling of the shop collapsed as Ratchet was getting out. "RRRRGGHH!!" he yelled in pain as the back half of his body was covered with rubble.

"RATCHET!!" Onyx yelled, dropping his bag and running to his brother to aid him. "I got you! Just hold still!" he yelled trying to pull his brother from the pile of debris.

"GAK! Onyx, there's no time. You gotta get out of hear!" Ratchet yelled at his younger brother.

"NO! I'm not leaving you! I can get you out!" the young stallion cried, grabbing his brother's hooves.

"It's all on you now." Ratchet growled. ". And make that scaly son of a B**** bleed for me."

"NO!" Onyx yelled as the rest of the roof collapsed on Ratchet, revealing a tremendous head with one, gleaming, red eye.

"Onyx, let's GO!" Scarlet screamed. Onyx lowered his head before turning away from the remnants of the auto shop and racing down the castle halls.

-Canterlot Castle, Military Head Quarters-

The floor beneath Captain Gordon's hooves began to shake. "What the Hell?" he muttered to himself. Gordon listened as a loud shriek echoed through the castle halls. He instantly recognized the noise as an old enemy of the King of Monsters; Gigan.

Grabbing his suitcase, Gordon sprinted for the door.

-Unknown Place and Time-

"Ha, ha, ha, ha!!" the stallion laughed. "Yes! Rise to make an empire FALL, Gigan!" he yelled to himself, an evil smile crossed his wicked face. "The sooner we have this kingdom defeated, the sooner I can rule this world!"

"X...? What are you doing?" a voice asked.

"Nothing, father!" the xillian said, grimacing as he swiftly put his viewing globe away.

"Good. We want to appear friendly to this race. So I want NO invading, or unleashing the monsters, or threatening this race like you did the last, understand?" the stallion asked.

"Yes, Father!"

-Outside Canterlot Castle-

Captain Gordon rushed outside to see the tremendous shape of a cyborg towering above him, scythe like arms swinging at the Canterlot Castle.

Captain Gordon didn't hesitate to pull his revolver from it's holster. Whether it hurt the monster or not, Gordon didn't know. What he DID know was that it would at least distract the alien monster.

A loud CRACK! hit the air as the bullet flew from the gun's barrel, harmlessly bouncing off of Gigan's thick armor. "The heck with it!" Gordon roared. Gigan hadn't noticed him.

Douglass rushed for the barracks, searching through luggage for a weapon. At last, he found it; the AT4 CS, a rocket launcher that the military used frequently. Captain Gordon smiled to himself as he swung the weapon onto his shoulder.

He took aim... and fired.

The missile screamed through the air like a jet and exploded against Gigan's armor, nearly knocking the chaotic kaiju to the ground. Shrieking angrily, Gigan turned to face Captain Gordon, his missile launcher still streaming smoke as he loaded another piece of ammunition.

"You should watch what you eat!" Gordon growled as the AT4 bucked in his arms, firing a projectile into Gigan's maw.

-Canterlot Castle, Throne Room-

"Your Majesty, we have to go, NOW!" a servant yelled at Princess Celestia, beckoning her from the throne room. "It's complete CHAOS!" he boomed, grabbing the princess by the hoof.

"Luna, c'mon!" the monarch yelled to hr younger sister.

"Right!" Luna replied, throwing out her wings and sprinting across the marble floors. She leapt into the air and beat her long, feathered wings, rising into the air. She was followed by Celestia.

-Canterlot Castle-

Onyx raced down the long halls, followed by Scarlet Blitz. His eyes began to water as he thought of Ratchet. His brother. He thought of his outburst when Ratchet had returned to the shop, when the brothers apologized.

"Onyx! We're almost to the entrance!" Scarlet yelled, focusing Onyx's thoughts on why he was running.

"Right!"

They had almost escaped when a massive, glowing red eye glared in at them, followed by the sound of explosions. The beast before them shrieked angrily and lifted it's head.

"Oh my God." Onyx muttered to himself as the sight of a massive charcoal grey shape advanced toward the castle.

The Triumphant and The Broken Hearted

-Canterlot-

Douglass watched with wide eyes as none other than the King of Monsters charged Gigan, his claws splayed out. Gigan shrieked in fear as Godzilla swung a forelimb at the cyborg, striking it's head.

Gigan leapt backwards, dodging another swing. It then lifted a scythed arm and shot forth from it's arm, a chained grapple hook. It swung around Godzilla's neck and body, limiting his mobility.

Godzilla angrily bellowed as Gigan swung the chains around his arms, pulling the king towards a chest mounted buzz saw. The saw began to spin rapidly, making a loud buzzing sound.

Godzilla appeared to swell with rage as Gigan made a cackling sound that was reminiscent of a demented laugh. Bellowing a sound of thunder, Godzilla wrapped his arms around the chains, bracing to snap them in two.

Captain Gordon could only watch...

Godzilla yanked on the chains with full force, pulling Gigan to the ground and snapping the chains in two. Godzilla bellowed in triumph as he pulled the chains off of his body. The King of Monsters then began to swing the broken chains around like a lasso.

Gigan forced itself to it's feet, only to have his own chains swung around his feet. Godzilla pulled the chains again, throwing Gigan to the ground again. Godzilla hazardously dropped the chains and thundered toward Gigan, his claws balled into a fist.

Gigan shook it's armored head in the hope of breaking it's daze. Gigan began to panic as the form of Godzilla approached, growling and grunting. The king lifted Gigan to it's feet and promptly threw a fist at the cyborg's face.

Sparks flew as Gigan's circuits fried. Godzilla grabbed the robot by the neck. He then, with all of his might, wrenched the cyborg's head free from it's wretched shoulders.

Gigan's body began to go into tremors, vibrating spasmodically as Godzilla bellowed triumphantly.

-Unknown Place and Time-

"RRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!" X screamed, veins popping from his skull as he angrily stamped on the floor. Finally, he calmed down enough to say; "If Gigan can't do it, then another monster WILL!"

-Aftermath of the Kaiju Battle, Canterlot-

Onyx heavily coughed, waving a hoof in front of his face as dust floated through the air. Scarlet Blitz came up from behind the stallion, a hoof covered her mouth to act as an air filter. "Are you okay?" she coughed.

"Yeah." Onyx replied. He knew he wasn't. His lungs burned from the dust, his eyes were hurting, and his entire body was covered with cuts and bruises. "I'll live." he said, his attention focused on a dark figure approaching the two.

Onyx poised himself for defense, only to find that the figure was Captain Gordon. A rocket launcher was strapped to his back and his trench coat was covered in holes from hot ashes. "Onyx!" he exclaimed, his voice cracked as he tossed the weapon to the ground.

"Hello, Captain." Onyx coughed, glancing at the large gun. "What's that for?" he choked pointing at the rocket launcher.

"That?" Douglass said, covering his mouth to prevent ash from entering his lungs. "Was trying to distract Gigan from the castle. It didn't help much. But it stalled the beast long enough for Godzilla to finish him off." he answered.

"Gigan?" Onyx gasped.

"Giant cyborg." Captain Gordon exclaimed.

At that moment, Princess Celestia landed near the trio, followed by Princess Luna. "Well," she started, surprisingly calm, "this was a complete disaster. Captain Gordon, I can only hope that this plan of yours works." she continued.

"What about Frost Bloom?" Scarlet Blitz interjected. "She could be hurt."

Princess Celestia turned to Scarlet and gazed at her for a minute. Her normally white pelt was now covered with dirty patches. Celestia welled up with sympathy. "I will do anything and everything in my power to find you friends." she said, touching a hoof to Scarlet's chin.

"Thank you." she replied.

-Elsewhere in the Canterlot Wreckage-

"HELP ME!!" a voice called. "SOMEPONY, HELP ME!" Rainbow Dash slowly came back into consciousness. Her head throbbed and her body ached. "SOMEPONY!" the voice cried again. The cyan pegasus leapt to her hooves with wide eyes.

"Hellooo?" she called. Rainbow Dash scanned the wreckage. Again the voice came. "Oh my gosh!" she exclaimed as the sight of a icy blue mare caught her eye. It was Frost Bloom.

"Rainbow Dash!" Frost Bloom choked. "My leg. It's stuck. I can't move!" she said with a tone of fear.

Rainbow Dash looked the pony over. Frost had one thing right. Her leg was trapped under a pile of brick. The pegasus also noticed that Frost's ;eft eye was tightly shut. Her body was covered in scratches and bruises.

"Okay." Rainbow Dash started. "Don't move. I can get you out." The Element of Loyalty grabbed hold of a large piece of brick that was crushing Frost's leg. Rainbow Dash beat her wings as hard as she could, but to no result. -I can do this- the pegasus thought to herself. She tried to move the piece of rubble again. It didn't budge.

"Rainbow Dash..." Frost Bloom moaned.

"I'm trying!" she replied. She couldn't do it, no matter how hard she tried. "I'll go get help!" Rainbow Dash yelled. "Don't worry!"

Just then, a figure approached. It's shadowy silhouette blended with the gray landscape. "Back off!" Rainbow Dash growled, spreading her wings. The figure stopped momentarily before continuing to advance upon her.

"Unless you want your friend to die, I suggest you move." the figure replied flatly. It was then that Rainbow Dash began to make out the figure's features. It had a muscular build, no doubt, and a chevron mustache. He was also wearing a brown trench coat and a scarab, as well as a holster.

"I recognize you!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "Your that captain from the hallway!"

"Brilliant, Holmes." he replied sarcastically. "Now move."

Rainbow Dash wasn't sure whether to trust the stallion or not, She would've stayed put had Princess Celestia not said it was safe. "This is Captain Gordon. He is here to help."

The cyan pegasus stepped aside, eying Gordon suspiciously.

"Help." the icy blue mare said weakly before she lost consciousness. Captain Gordon effortlessly threw the brick from Frost Bloom's leg and hoisted her onto his shoulder.

"We should go." Douglass said.

"But what about the other elements?!" Rainbow Dash asked. It was then that she noticed a brown stallion and a white mare behind Princess Celestia. She recognized the white pony. But not the brown one.

-Three Hours Later-

After hours of searching for the other five elements of harmony, they were all together. Onyx sadly watched everybody excited to see each other. All he had was the memory of his brother's death. His shoulder's sagged as he lowered his head.

A piece of paper floated to the ground at Onyx's feet. It was a photo of when the two brothers' father was alive. Ratchet was a demolition derby racer then, and he had won a derby the day that the photo was taken.

Onyx smiled weakly and lifted the singed photo from the ground. It was hot to the touch, but he didn't care.

"Hey." Scarlet's voice said. Onyx jerked his head up and saw Scarlet standing in front of him. Looking down at the photo in the stallion's hooves, she said; "Was this your family?"

"Yeah." Onyx replied sadly. He let his head fall against Scarlet's shoulder blade. He just needed a hug. Scarlet could begin to feel him sob quietly. Hesitantly, she put her arms around the sad stallion. At the moment, he was a colt in a stallion's body. "What did I do wrong?" he cried into Scarlet's shoulder.

Scarlet Blitz felt terrible for Onyx. He had, only a few hours earlier, watched his brother die. The mare couldn't begin to imagine or understand how he was feeling.

Slowly, Onyx pulled away from Scarlet, his tear stained face looking down at his hooves. Scarlet blitz gazed into his brown eyes. "I'm scared." Onyx said at last. "And I don't know what to do."

"Excuse me?" the voice of Fluttershy said, softly. The two ponies looked up. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but Princess Celestia wanted me to tell you that it's time to go."

Onyx remained silent. Scarlet nodded her head in conformation. "Okay." she said. Turning to Onyx, she then said, "I'm sorry about your loss."

"Thank you." the young stallion sniffed.

-Godzilla Defense Ponies Head Quarters-

Captain Douglass Gordon gazed up at the Godzilla Defense Ponies logo that hung above the building's entrance. As he entered the building he was greeted by Yuji Shinoda, an old friend of his.

"Captain!" Yuji exclaimed with enthusiasm and a smile. "How's my old friend?" he asked, taking Gordon's hoof.

"We have more important matters to discuss, Shinoda." Captain Gordon replied flatly. Yuji's smile vanished.

"Right." he said. "But it's just so nice to see you, Douglass!" he continued, his smile returning to his face. Just then, Onyx entered the building followed by Princess Celestia, Scarlet Blitz, Luna, Frost Bloom, and the Mane 6. "Your Majesty!" he said with wide eyes, bowing down until his head was almost touching the floor.

"You may rise." Celestia said.

"Big place." Onyx exclaimed, looking around.

"Yes, yes. Well, I think it may be a bit excessive but the Prime Minister likes it." Yuji said.

Captain Gordon rolled his eyes. "Can we just focus on the Mechagodzilla, please?" he growled. "I would like to have it ready before Godzilla decides to attack Neighpon."

"You are absolutely right!" Yuji said with a mocking seriousness. Onyx chuckled to himself. "I'm sorry. But if I am going to trust you to use Kiryu, you're going to have to loosen up a bit." Shinoda continued.

"Yeah, okay." Gordon grumbled. "But we have one more thing we would like to discuss with you, Mr. Shinoda." he continued, gesturing for Onyx to give him his saddle bag. He hoisted it out of the young stallion's hooves.

"What is it?"

"Open the bag." Captain Gordon commanded, setting it in front of Yuji's hooves. One look, and Shinoda nearly went into a seizure.

"What do yo have THIS here for?!" he shouted. "We should not be showing half of the god da-!" he was cut off abruptly.

"Calm down." Captain Gordon growled. "I don't see what the big flipping deal is, but I DO know that this weapon can help us." he continued, zipping the saddle back up and hoisting it onto his shoulders. "Now then. Where did you want to look at the weapon...?"

-15 Minutes Later-

"So what your telling me is that this stallion is the great grandson of Daisuke Serizawa?!" Yuji Shinoda asked, pointing at Onyx. The young mustang rolled his eyes. He didn't like to be pointed at.

"Yes, he is." Captain Gordon replied flatly.

"My condolences." Yuji said. He received a sincere glare from Onyx. "Anyhow, HE built this weapon?"

"Yes, he did." the captain exclaimed. "How, though, I haven't the slightest clue."

"I see." Yuji Shinoda acknowledged, nodding. "Now that we have that settled, let us get down to the piloting of the Mechagodzilla." he continued. "So, you said that Godzilla and Gigan clashed at the castle, if I have been told correctly."

"Yes." Captain Gordon assured the scientist.

"Wait, hold on. Your telling me that Godzilla isn't the ONLY monster who's bent on destroying Equestria?!" Onyx asked with a worried expression crossing his grimy face.

"More or less... Well, I wouldn't say that Godzilla WANTS to destroy Equestria. He just wants revenge on pony kind for waking him from hibernation." Yuji replied, matter-of-factly.

Onyx's jaw dropped.

"I'm sorry." Shinoda corrected himself. "I forgot that your new to this monster thing. Let me reword that." And so Yuji explained how Godzilla has been a threat to Equestria for over fifty years.

"Oooooohhhh." Onyx said. "Now it all makes sense." he then dropped his head and gazed at the floor, remembering how his brother had been killed by one of these monsters. "I lost my brother to one of those things." he murmured sadly.

"Yeah." Gordon started. "Onyx here has been through a lot over the past couple of weeks." Douglass then patted the young stallion on the back. "Hang in there, kiddo." he whispered into the mechanic's ear.

"Well then." Yuji Shinoda said, lifting a pile of clothing and dropping it onto his desk. Here's your uniform, Onyx... Welcome to the Godzilla Defense Ponies."

Trespasser

-The Philippines-

Ponies everywhere fled for their lives. A loud shriek struck the air and the ground shook, violently. Anguirus had arrived... The massive spiked kaiju tucked itself into a ball like an armadillo and rocketed through the air, slamming into a building with tremendous force.

The sky filled with smoke as Anguirus crashed into the ground, throwing tons of debris and dirt into the air.

-Brazil-

A loud caw struck the air like a missile, and with a tremendous BOOM! a red blur streaked past the buildings, shattering windows and causing chaos. The giant bat like creature, known to many as Rodan, splayed out it's massive talons and grabbed a building. Most of the structure crumbled. The parts that didn't were pulled from it's foundation.

The giant Pteranodon then proceeded to release the building.

With a thunderous crash, the building was turned into a pile of rubble.

-San Fransisco-

Megaguirus lunged forward at a building, poising her stinger to impale the structure. The giant dragonfly unleashed an ear piercing shriek, shattering any remaining windows on nearby buildings.

-Nevada-

The eight legged MUTO angrily bellowed. She then reared into the air and slammed back down. The resulting shockwave knocked the jets from the air, throwing them to the ground with explosion after explosion.

The MUTO cackled with glee before unleashing a loud call.

A smaller, winged MUTO swooped from the air and touched down. Folding up his long jet like wings, he nuzzled the female's snout.

-Unknown Place and Time-

"Heh, heh, heh." the Xillian chuckled evilly to himself. "My plan is working perfectly. Those pathetic ponies won't have time to react to my monster invasion." he growled to himself, a twisted smile crossing his face.

Just then, X's father entered the room. "X!" he hollered. "I knew you were trying to do something!" X rolled his eyes before pulling an odd, silver gun from a holster and firing it.

X's father was instantly killed.

"Good for you." he told the corpse.

-Godzilla Defense Ponies Head Quarters, Neighpon-

"Captain Gordon!" Yuji Shinoda yelled. Douglass whipped around and raised and eyebrow. "I know this is on short notice and I apologize, but spots all over the globe are being attacked!" Shinoda yelled, panic growing on his voice.

"By what?" Gordon asked, confused.

"Kaiju..." Yuji replied grimly.

-20 Minutes Later-

Captain Douglass Gordon raced down the hall, his trench coat flapping in the breeze.

At last, he made it. The Mechagodzilla launching spot. Smiling slightly at the sight of the mechanical beast, Gordon slowed to a stop. Yuji caught up with him, panting heavily. "Here's your uniform." he choked, handing the captain a red suit and helmet.

"Thanks." Gordon grumbled, taking the uniform from his hands.

-Five Minutes Later-

"Cockpit's primed and ready, Captain!" a GDP member said, saluting the stallion. "Give 'em Hell..."

Captain Douglass looked up at the robot. It's silver armor gleamed in the sunlight.

Gordon was just about to enter when a grimy figure pushed through a crowd. "Captain Gordon!" Onyx called after the suited military leader. Douglass turned to see the young stallion. "Good luck!" he told the captain.

Captain Gordon smiled before briefly putting a hoof to his forehead. Onyx did the same. "Ratchet would have loved to see this." Gordon said, smiling.

"Yeah." Onyx replied, grinning slightly and dropping his head.

With that, Captain Douglass Gordon entered the cockpit. "This old dog isn't finished with the job, yet!" he growled, flicking switches and putting his helmet on his head. It was a tad snug, but fit well.

Onyx watched by Scarlet Blitz's side as the sight of Kiryu rising from the launch pad filled him with excitement. Gordon was right; Ratchet would have loved to see this.

Suddenly, the crowd burst into applaud and cheer. Onyx couldn't help but follow along.

-Pacific Ocean, an Hour Later-

"Where's the first monster?" Captain Gordon asked into the intercom.

"We are picking up signatures in San Francisco, Nevada, Brazil, and- Holy crud! The list goes on and on!" a hazy voice replied. "Wait a minute..." the voice said, filling with dread. "There's a signature right next to you! Get OUT of there, NOW!" the voice yelled in panic.

"What are you talking about? There isn't a monster in sight!" Captain Gordon grumbled with confusion rising in his voice. As if to prove the stallion wrong, he heard a deep rumbling in the ocean.

"It's a Kaiju! Get out of there!" the walkie talkie boomed.

"What in the name of Tanaka are you talking about?!" Gordon hollered.

Suddenly, a massive creature burst from the water before the robotic Godzilla, startling it's pilot. "HOLY S***!!" Captain Gordon boomed, pulling on the joystick that controlled the Mecha G's direction.

Kiryu came to an abrupt stop as the kaiju loudly shrieked before taking a swing at the Mecha G's face. Gordon forced the robot to duck down, dodging the Kaiju's long claws.

"B*****D!!" Gordon growled. "I'll show you!" He then slammed a hoof against a large, red button. On cue, four rockets shrieked from shoulder mounted rocket launchers. The missiles struck the kaiju with loud explosions.

Angrily bellowing, the kaiju swung it's claws at the mech. The talons made their mark, striking the robot's chest.

"RRRGGH!" Douglass roared as the Mechagodzilla was knocked into the water. Gordon was swift to recover, firing the robots rocket boosters. Kiryu shot from the water, hovering directly above it. The salty drink began to boil as it came under contact with the fire.

"I wonder what this button does." Gordon said to himself, gazing at a triangular shaped button that glowed an electric yellow. "Only one way to find out, I suppose." he mumbled, shrugging his shoulders as he pushed on the lit control.

Faster than a bolt of lightning, a sword shot from each arm. They cackled with electricity as Gordon cracked a twisted grin.

Kiryu soon became a blur of yellow energy as Gordon swung repeatedly at the kaiju's chest. The monster's thick armor chipped from it's body as the beast shrieked in pain. Eventually, the Mecha G exposed the kaiju's raw flesh.

Captain Gordon, having gone over most of Kiryu's features with some of the robot's mechanics, struck a control marked "DRILL." At that, the swords returned inside the mechanics and the robot's hands began to spin rapidly.

Kaiju flesh was thrown from the beast's body as the drill arm forced itself deeper and deeper into the creature's body. The monster howled in pain as Captain Gordon let a demented smile cross his face. "DIE!!" he roared, suddenly pushing forward with supernatural force.

Glowing blue blood, known as "Kaiju Blue," began to fill the water around the dueling beings. The kaiju shrieked in pain as the razor sharp drill began to reach vital organs. The sound of ribs crunching and snapping was drowned out by the painful howls and screeches from the kaiju.

-Godzilla Defense Ponies Head Quarters, Neighpon-

Everypony's face was that of disgust as they listened to the sound of Captain Gordon yelling, "DIE, DIE, DIE!!" mixed with the sounds of the drill and painful howls from the kaiju.

Onyx and Scarlet Blitz exchanged disgusted glances, listening to Gordon's voice.

-Pacific Ocean-

Finally, the kaiju was dead. The Mechagodzilla suffered little damage from the one attack that the kaiju managed to land on the robot. Fluorescent blood stained the water neon blue.

"Teach you to mess with ME." Captain Douglass panted. Sweat drenched the side of his head. He didn't realize that controlling the robot could take so much WORK.

"Kaiju's dead." Douglass grunted into the intercom, panting heavily. "The Mecha G only suffered a little bit of damage. Right on the Absolute Zero gun." he continued.

"That's fine. Well done." a voice replied.

"Well done, Captain Gordon." Yuji Shinoda's voice said, impressed. "But you can't take the other monsters alone."

"I know. Are you picking up any other signatures around me?" he asked. Douglass had a plan. He wasn't quite sure that it would work. But it was worth the try.

"Noooooo... Hold on... Yes! It's a HUGE signature. The screen's saying that it's highly radioactive and BIG." Yuji Shinoda's voice replied with confusion. "Why were you wondering?"

"Because if that's the monster I think it is..." he started. "Then we can defeat ALL of those monsters without any problems." he finished.

It didn't take Yuji long to figure out Douglass Gordon's plans. "Are you CRAZY?!" he yelled. "That is a BAD idea! If you think it'll work, then your asking to be in the hospital for WEEKS! Plus, during the Mechagodzilla's FIRST test run, Godzilla showed up! When he roared, Kiryu went out of whack!"

"Maybe, so." Gordon replied flatly. "But it's a chance I'm willing to take at this point."

-Xillian Spacecraft-

"With the aid of my monsters, NOBODY can stop me!" X laughed. At that point, many other alien ponies trotted into the room. They wore black coats and odd looking pistols on their side. "Now..." he chuckled, "These beings are CATTLE. They will be our food source for the time being."

X turned and stared at his fellow Xillian's. "I want the 'Prime Minister' before me..." he said, glaring at the other aliens. "WELL! What are you waiting for?! GO GET HIM, NOW!!!" X boomed.

The other Xillian's left the room.

X was thinking of the perfect plan when the spacecraft shook violently. "What in the name of Kaiser?" he growled, looking around. He was still puzzling when the spaceship rocked back and forth, throwing X against an amber colored wall.

"Ow." he grumbled as the floor beneath him began to erupt into tremors. He leapt into the air, barely avoiding being impaled by white crystalline structures. The quartz pillars cackled with red energy.

X cautiously approached the crystals, raising a hoof to feel the aura being emitted by one. "Strange." he muttered to himself, pulling his hand away from the pillar.

His spacecraft had stopped shaking, but severe damage had been dealt. -Nothing a little telekinesis can't fix- he thought to himself, closing his red eyes and raising both front hooves off of the ground. A short horn on his forehead began to glow with a darkly colored light.

The crystals disappeared and the floor began to put itself back the way it was.

Within seconds, everything was back the way it used to be.

"What was that... Thing?" the unicorn asked himself quietly.

-Outside the Xillian Spacecraft-

The massive, dark blue creature angrily thrashed it's crystal covered tail. It's jaws, a mash of needle teeth, opened and closed as it bellowed it's rage. A multi pointed horn, facing backwards on it's skull, began to glow with red energy, sparking flashes of light.

The creature cackled with glee as it took aim at the large spherical spacecraft before it.

Suddenly, small parts of the metallic globe broke off of the object. The tremendous crystalline monster raised a scaled eyebrow as small jets of flame shot from the smaller spacecrafts, propelling them forward.

The kaiju's shoulder mounted crystals crackled a red light. It's jaws unhinged as red smoke fumed from it's maw.

With a blast of red light, one of the crafts was nothing but a flaming ball, hurling toward Equestria. The gigantic, blue space monster hissed with an evil glee as it turned to Equestria.

It was time for Spacegodzilla to visit his dear father...

-Godzilla Defense Ponies Head Quarters, Neighpon-

Onyx gazed at the screen. It depicted the inside view of the Mechagodzilla. He watched as Captain Douglass Gordon bit his lip, fighting with the robot's main controls. With a long sigh, Onyx took the photo of Ratchet and his father from a saddle bag.

"Hi, Dad." he glumly whispered to the photo. He half hoped that Ratchet to come into the room, a smile on his face as he noted the weather. But it wasn't going to happen. Ratchet was dead.

"Hey, Onyx." Scarlet Blitz said, looking the stallion in the eyes as he turned to look at her.

"Hi." he replied sadly. Onyx wasn't feeling like socializing. But it was Scarlet Blitz. The one pony he could express his feelings to without any worry. And, though he didn't want anybody to know, he liked Scarlet.

Scarlet Blitz threw her arms around Onyx's neck and looked over his shoulder. "Things will be okay, Big Guy." she whispered into his ear.

Onyx cracked a slight smile. Hearing this helped him to get over his family's death. "Thank you, Blitz." he murmured, glancing up at her. Suddenly, and very unexpectedly, Scarlet leaned forward and gave Onyx a quick kiss on the cheek.

Onyx's eyes widened as he smiled up at the mare pegasus. A small smile lit upon her face. "Well..." she began. "I'll... See you later."

"Bye." the young mustang whispered. When she was gone, he cursed himself for not taking the chance to kiss her back.

-Pacific Ocean-

Captain Douglas Gordon fought the controls of the Mechagodzilla, trying to get Godzilla to surface. "C'mon, you scaly b*****d. C'mon." he growled scanning the ocean's waves for the King of Monsters.

It didn't take long before a row of charcoal grey dorsal fins protruded from the water, waves flowing through the bony plates. "There you are." he whispered as though Godzilla would have been able to hear him.

Gordon watched, dead silent as the spines didn't move. Captain Douglas hardly dared to breath. Suddenly, the spines went below the water, causing small whirlpools as he submerged.

"Oh, no, ya don't!" Gordon yelled, preparing for Godzilla to attack.

However, instead of a attack from below, Godzilla surfaced right in front of the Mechagodzilla! "CHEESE AND RICE!!" Douglas yelled as he pulled back on the main control.

Godzilla wasted no time in taking a swipe at his old enemy. Gordon barely pulled off a dodge. "Look's like I got his attention!" Captain Douglas said to himself. "Now I just gotta get him to each monster spot without having Kiryu blown to bits."

-Brazil-

Rainbow Dash scanned the city.

She was tired of sitting around and WATCHING the action when she wanted to be PART of the action. So the Element of Loyalty, bravely snuck from the GDP HQ and tried to find the big bird thingy.

-How hard could it be?- Rainbow Dash thought as she searched for the beast. Most of Brazil was in ruins, destroyed by that pterodactyl, or whatever the big bird was.

Rainbow dash beat her wings as she sympathetically looked down at the city from a bird's eye view.

After searching for nearly half of an hour, Dash was about to abandon hope... Until a tremendous caw struck the air like her sonic boom. Suddenly, a blur of fiery red flashed past her. The wind nearly knocked her from the air. "WHOA!" she said, surprised by the speed of the kaiju.

"It's not faster than ME!" she cried, racing after the beast with her hooves in front of her. She was barely fast enough to catch up with creature. Suddenly, the beast glared down at her with eyes twice as big as she was.

"Uh..." she stammered. The massive pterosaur hovered in mid air as Rainbow Dash stared up at the beast with wide eyes. Her jaw dropped while the beast's long tail flicked back and forth, similarly to a cat's.

With a loud caw, the creature swung around striking the cyan pegasus with it's tail.

"HHHRRK!" Rainbow Dash choked as she lost consciousness. She then plummeted to the ground, her lifeless body tumbling through the air.

-Godzilla Defense Ponies HQ, Neighpon-

Frost Bloom slowly stirred back into consciousness. Her head throbbed. Her legs ached. And a cast covered her right hoof. "What the? Where am I?" she murmured.

A calm voice gave a calm reply. "Hello, Frost Bloom." Frost gazed up to see Princess Celestia, a smile on her face. "I'm glad to see that you're well, again." she continued.

"Thank you, Your Majesty." the icy mare replied with a small smile. "Where's the other's?" Frost Bloom then asked, propping herself on her elbows and looking around.

"They are watching Captain Douglas destroy all monsters." she replied. "Anyway, you must be hungry." Princess Celestia said.

"STARVING, Your Majesty." Frost acknowledged with wide eyes, ever hopeful that someone would show up with a plate of food for the mare.

"Do you think you can walk?" Celestia asked, nodding at Frost Bloom's cast.

Frost gazed down at the stiff leg. With a loud sigh, she said; "Only one way to find out, I guess." With that, the light blue mare scooted to the edge of the bed, wincing slightly. Frost bloom gingerly set her hoof on the floor, testing her weight on it.

Celestia watched, faithfully as the mare stood next to the bed proudly. "Come." she said. "You need something to eat."

-Brazil-

Rainbow Dash slowly stirred. The cyan pegasus painfully folded her wings against her body, wincing in pain. Rainbow groggily shook her head, which was pounding with pain.

All around her, the streets were littered with debris. Buildings were blazing and smoke filled the air. It reminded Rainbow Dash of what had happened during the Crystal War...

Only, much worse...

Rainbow Dash scanned the unrecognizable streets, searching for a sign of life. Her ears pricked to attention. The pegasus could hear the sound of crying...

-Shatterdome-

"SIR! We are picking up several different Kaiju signatures. But here's the strange part; None of em' came from the Breach!" a Shatterdome worker exclaimed, watching the many different blips on the world map. "We are also picking up a mech signature. But it's not a Jaëgar!" he continued.

"What is it?" Marshal Stacker Pentecost asked.

"We don't know for sure. Permission to attempt communication!" the worker hollered, saluting Stacker.

"Granted." the marshal replied sternly.

"Do you read me? If you read me, respond immediately... Over." the soldier said into the walkie talkie. The sound of static hissed back. "Do you read me? Respond now! Over..." he repeated.

Finally, a gruff voice replied. "I read you."

"In what way are you traveling? Over." the Shatterdome worker asked, leaning back in an office chair.

"-ay ag-in. - c-n't -ead you." a staticky voice said. "-old on." After a moment or two, the voice became clear. "Sorry about that. Say again?" the voice said. Stacker looked up at the screen, noticing the blip being followed.

Marshal Pentecost pushed the worker out of the way. "In what way are you traveling?!" he yelled.

"Marshal?" the voice asked.

"Yes, it's me. But I repeat. What are you traveling in?!"

"The GDP robot called Mechagodzilla." the voice replied sternly.

Marshal Stacker gazed at the screen. "Who are you?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "And how do you know me? Over." he continued, slightly confused by the Mechagodzilla's pilot.

"Captain Douglas Gordon." the voice replied, slightly annoyed with the marshal.

"Marshal, I apologize for interrupting, but shouldn't we be going after the Kaiju?" the worker stallion said.

"You're absolutely right! I will have Mori and Becket out there at ONCE!" he replied.

-Brazil-

Rainbow Dash desperately looked around, trying to find the crying pony. At last, she found the filly. She was sobbing and had in her hoof, a broken picture frame.

"It's gonna be okay." the cyan pegasus said, sympathetically. Immediately the foal looked up, tears streaming her cheeks. She gazed at the Element of Loyalty for several moments before nodding in conformation.

Rainbow Dash hoisted the small pony onto her back. She could feel the sad foal trembling with fear.

A loud caw struck the air. Rainbow Dash grimaced. The pony started to cry again. A gigantic red blur flashed passed them, stirring up debris and ash as it reached unbelievable speeds.

The foal on the element's back was a tad too loud...

The giant pteranodon slowed to a hover and swiveled it's crested skull. It glared right at Rainbow Dash. On instinct, the pegasus froze, hardly daring to breath. The giant bird monster then landed upon the street, shaking the ground like an earthquake.

With a loud hiss, the creature charged the two ponies, it's clawed wings striking the ground with each thunderous step.

The creature was practically upon them, when a robot the size of the creature burst through a building and grabbed the creature by the neck. The massive, scaled bird released a gasping shriek before attempting to kick at the robot with it's free talons.

Rodan's long jaws unhinged, exposing rows of dagger teeth. It's maw began to glow a bright orange, followed by the scales on it's chest. Suddenly, a ball of fire shot from the beast's jaws, striking a nearby building.

Rainbow Dash grabbed the terrified foal off of her back and hid the pony under her wings as debris coated her fur.

-Inside Gypsy Danger-

"Fleas and Lice!" Raleigh Becket yelled angrily. Then turning to his drift partner, Mako Mori, he growled; "Let's fry this son of a B****!" Mori nodded her head in agreement.

Both pilots lifted their right arm. The Jaëgar shook violently as Rodan furiously clamped it's jaws on the robot's waist. Becket yelled in pain before the two pilots prepared to fire the robot's plasma cannon.

-Brazil-

Rodan kicked with both of it's feet at the robot's chest, attempting to free itself of the iron grip on it's throat. The robot's right hand began to crackle with lightning blue energy. Rodan shrieked more in desperation than anger.

Rainbow Dash watched with a mix of awe and fear as sphere's of flashing blue energy shot from the robot's right arm. Rodan howled in pain as it's scales were peeled away more and more with each blast of energy.

The mechanical figure continued to fire at the kaiju's chest, exposing Rodan's raw flesh, once protected by it's scales.

-Shatterdome-

Marshal Stacker Pentecost watched as Gypsy Danger and the kaiju, codenamed Rodan, clashed. The marshal swapped to a map that showed the blips with their names.

Out of the corner of his eye, a blip with an "UNNAMED" label approached the "GYPSY DANGER" blip. "CRAP!" he yelled before rushing to the intercom. "Raleigh Becket and Mako Mori, get OUT of there!!" he commanded. "There's another kaiju! Category two! Codename, Kumonga! It's headed your way. I repeat, GET OUT OF THERE!!"

-Argentina-

Captain Douglas Gordon slowly lead Godzilla across the country of Argentina, toward their destination of Brazil, where they would do battle against Rodan. "C'mon, Big Guy." Gordon growled, turning Kiryu to see if Godzilla was still following him. Sure enough, he was.

-Brazil-

Captain Douglas Gordon watched in horror as the spider kaiju known as Kumonga swiftly approached the Jaëgar, it's long legs a blur of yellow and black. Godzilla trailed the Mechagodzilla as Gordon prepared to go into battle.

-Xillian Spacecraft-

X laughed evilly to himself as his glowing globe depicted the spider Kumonga preparing to destroy Gypsy Danger. "My plans are working PERFECTLY." he laughed to himself. "Soon, this planet will be nothing but an Xillian wasteland!"

-Brazil-

"NOOO!!!" Captain Douglas yelled as Kumonga leapt onto Gypsy Danger's back. "Stupid BUG!" he growled, preparing to charge the arachnid with all 65 thousand tons of metallic pony power. Godzilla continued his course towards Kiryu, growling and swinging his arms.

Gordon went into a full on sprint across the battleground, unleashing the electric swords hidden in the Mecha G's arms. He then activated the robotic Godzilla's rocket booster, leaping into the air. He then slammed down on th kaiju, the energy consumed swords imbedding themselves in Kumonga's abdomen. The giant spider shrieked in rage and pain before it's glowing violet eyes turned grey, and it's body went limp.

Godzilla had different plans. The King of Monsters lifted his head and uttered a bellow that would have drowned out the sound of thunder. He then reeled back, his maw fuming with radioactive smoke. His spines began to flash with blue energy as his jaws unhinged to their full capacity.

Suddenly, a burst of electric blue flame shot forth from Godzilla's maw, striking Rodan with terrifying results. The giant pteranodon shrieked in pain as it's body blazed.

The bird's flaming corpse was all that remained of the creature.

But Godzilla wasn't done yet. The King of Monsters then charged, full speed, toward the two robots, his jaws still smoking from the burst of radiation. Bellowing a sound of thunder, the giant saurian slammed his thick skull into the Mechagodzilla's chest, his muscular neck and torso absorbing the impact. Kiryu crashed to the ground.

-Inside the Mechagodzilla-

"HHHRRRRGGHH!!!" Captain Gordon roared as Kiryu was slammed to the ground. "I should've taken the Gotengo." he growled as the captain forced Kiryu to it's feet. "Ya' wanna dance, huh?!" he yelled. "THEN LET'S DANCE!!!"

Gordon then dodged an incoming swipe from Godzilla and took a go at the king himself. The sharp, metallic claws sliced at Godzilla's thick hide, causing the beast to bellow in pain.

Captain Gordon watched as Gypsy Danger grabbed Godzilla in a choke hold, wrapping it's mechanical arm around the king's neck. The fate of Equestria was in the King of Monsters' claws. Gordon couldn't watch him die...

Captain Douglas forced Kiryu to grab hold of the Jaëgar's arm. Gordon watched as Godzilla tried to wrench himself free of the robot. Defending or not, Gypsy danger's pilots were starting to become a nuisance.

Gordon twisted the Jaëgar's arm, freeing the struggling Godzilla from the hold. The King of Monsters collapsed to the ground, loudly choking for breath.

"You're messin' with the wrong king, Buddy!" Captain Gordon growled, taking a swipe at the opposing robot's chest plate.

-Inside Gypsy Danger-

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF CELESTIA IS HE DOING?!?!" Raleigh Becket boomed, working with Mako Mori to dodge the flurry of attacks from the opposing mech. Becket had had about enough of this.

"We need the sword!" he yelled to his partner.

"RIGHT!" she replied, lifting her right arm and tapping a large button. Suddenly, a chain sword flung from Gypsy Danger's right arm. With a shake of the wrist, the loose weapon stiffened to a deadly blade.

-Inside Kiryu-

Captain Douglas watched as his opponent's robot revealed a chain link sword, a popular piece of cutlery used on Jaëgars. "Two can play at that game." he growled, letting the Mechagodzilla's sword slide from it's arm sheath. He lifted the robot's arms into a suitable battle position, preparing to cross blades with his opponent.

Electricity sparked from the sword as the two robot's charged.

-Brazil-

Rainbow Dash watched with wide eyes as the two robots charged each other, their blades lifted into the air. The sound of a metallic shriek hurt the cyan pegasus' ears as the robot's swords struck each other, throwing hot sparks into the air. The dinosaur looking robot pulled away and swung it's blade at the other robot's legs.

The navy blue mech collapsed to the ground as a different creature rose to it's feet. It's scaled hide was pitted with scars and it's back vertabrae were lined with tall spines. A long tall angrily thrashed behind it as it raised it's scaled lips.

With a tremendous bellow, the beast dug it's clawed foot into the ground and swung around, slamming it's tail into the fallen robot. With that, Gypsy Danger was obliterated.

Godzilla bellowed triumphantly and turned to his robotic counterpart.

"I'm taking you somewhere safe." Rainbow Dash whispered into the terrified filly's ear.

-Xillian Spacecraft-

The Xillian stallion slowly landed the spacecraft, smiling wickedly at the thought of his plans. The "Prime Minister" had been deployed back into his Godzilla Defense Ponies office, where he would say that the aliens were friendly. It was flawless. "Ha, ha, ha!" he laughed to himself.

-GDP HQ, Neighpon-

Onyx paced back and forth, his mind focused on Scarlet Blitz and what he would say to her. "Hi. I wanted to tell you something." the mustang said to himself, seeing how it would sound. "This is hopeless." Onyx said with a heavy sigh, realizing how stupid it sounded. He then slumped back against an office chair, letting his head fall against the head rest.

He was still wondering what to do when Scarlet Blitz quietly opened the door and peeked her head into the room. "Knock, knock." she said calmly. "You gotta minute?"

Onyx sprung up and looked at her. Immediately, his mind came to a rest at the sight of her. Her red bangs covered her right eye, enhancing her beauty. If anything, the stallion found the pegasus more beautiful than usual.

"Yeah. Sure!" Onyx replied, at last with wide eyes.

"Cool." she began. "Can I tell you something? Without you thinking I'm weird, I mean?" she continued, looking at Onyx with honest eyes. Those vibrant, red eyes.

"I have something to tell you as well." the young stallion said, making his best attempt to avoid eye contact without seeming rude. Scarlet Blitz's wings perked slightly at these words. "Uh... This might sound a little crazy... But here goes nothin'." he began.

Scarlet Blitz slowly approached Onyx before he could continue, a slight smile crossing her face. She leaned against the muscular stallion, her eyes fluttering. Onyx's grew wide as Scarlet grew closer to him. Her hoof slowly trailed up the side of his temple. Onyx loosened up, ever so slightly as Scarlet gazed into his brown eyes. "Hey, Handsome" she said, a small smile growing upon her face.

"Hey." Onyx replied.

At that moment, Scarlet Blitz gently kissed Onyx on the lips. Instantaneously, the nervous stallion relaxed, his shoulders dropping and his eyelids closing slightly. Onyx lightly wrapped his arms around the pegasus and returned the kiss, smiling as the two remained in this state for several seconds.

Scarlet calmly broke out of the position and whispered into Onyx's ear. "I love you."

After wallowing in a pool of sadness since his brother's death, Onyx had finally found happiness. Onyx cracked a smile and kissed Scarlet Blitz on the lips. He then gave her a tight hug.

"Not so hard, Big Guy, you squeeze my tears out." Scarlet said, tears of joy running down the side of her cheek.

"I love you, too." Onyx whispered, his eyes wet with tears of his own. The young pony had mixed emotions of both sadness and happiness. For the death of his family, and the hope of a new one.

Scarlet Blitz gave Onyx a playful punch to the shoulder, a smile upon her face. Onyx cracked a wide grin, his head dropped to the ground as he chuckled to himself.

Scarlet gave Onyx a little wave before she left the room, calmly shutting the door on her way out.

"YES!!" Onyx cheered to himself when his new girlfriend was gone. He then threw his hooves into the air and danced around the room in pure joy. Not paying attention to the furniture around him, the joyful stallion crashed into the office chair, knocking it to the floor and falling flat on his rear end. Onyx didn't even care that he had hurt himself, he was so happy.

The Monster Inside of Us

-Brazil-

"Captain Douglas Gordon. You need to come back here!" a voice said with worry. "Something weird is happening outside of HQ!" it continued.

"What's happening?" Captain Gordon replied through the walkie talkie attached to his helmet. There was no answer. "I repeat, what is happening?!" he said again, irritated with the silence. It lasted for several moments before a voice replied.

"A strange spacecraft landed outside!" the hazy voice said. "The Prime Minister is here, as well."

"I'll be right there!" the muscular stallion said, clicking the intercom off.

"Sorry, Big Guy." he said, turning the Mecha G to face the King of Monsters. "But I gotta run." With that, the captain swiftly turned toward Neighpon and activated the rocket boosters, propelling the massive robot toward the GDP HQ. He could hear Godzilla's furious bellow as he shot through the sky at astonishing speeds.

-Funny how fast this thing can REALLY go- Douglas thought to himself.

By the time Captain Gordon had reached his destination, the GDP's main walkway was flooded with it's workers. Directly next to it was a bronze colored spacecraft. It was covered in strange markings and stood on three pointed landing platforms, making it a tripod. The craft was also a spherical shape and much larger than the Mecha G.

"What in the name of Celestia-?" he mumbled to himself, raising an eyebrow. His mustache twitched...

Slowly, the robotic kaiju slowly lowered to it's launching pad, dust from the concrete pad shooting from underneath it's feet as fire scorched the floor a charcoal grey. With a deep tremor, the mech had touched down.

Captain Douglas was swift to exit the kaiju Jaëgar's metal interior. "Cheese and rice!" he exclaimed. "I almost melted into a pool, it was so hot in that thing!" he grumbled, sweat running down the side of his head. He rubbed his sweat drenched forehead with a hoof.

Gordon was quick to gallop to the Godzilla Defense Ponies' front entrance. The walkway was crowded with the GDP's workers as they surrounded the strange spacecraft looming over them.

He could barely see the Prime Minister standing on a platform above the crowd. "Alright, everybody! Settle down, now!" he yelled. Captain Gordon raised a bushy eyebrow. "I have come into contact with these extra terrestrial beings!" he continued. "And I assure you that they are friendly! There is nothing to be afraid of!" he said raising his hooves into the air.

"Yeah. Sure they are." Gordon grumbled to himself. The last time aliens were trusted, they unleashed the dreaded King Ghidorah upon the nation. That was AFTER they told the ponies that Equestria was going to be obliterated unless they traveled back in time to the Crystal War to kill Godzilla.

Captain Gordon waited to see what else the Prime Minister had to say. "Now, everybody, I know that aliens were not trusted in the past, but if these one's weren't friendly, I wouldn't be here!" he said.

It was then that Captain Gordon notice the "Prime Minister" saying "everybody" instead of "everypony" He wasn't a real pony. He was alien. Captain Gordon pushed his way through the crowd, a hoof preparing to pull his revolver from it's leather holster.

It was no use. He couldn't get through. "The heck with it!" he growled, pulling the gun from the holster and firing it three times into the air. The crowd screamed in fear and moved out of the chaotic captain's path.

Then, aiming the revolver's barrel at the "Prime Minister" fired the gun. It bucked in his hoof as the bullet flew at lightning speeds toward the white suited stallion. It struck him square in the heart.

"GAK!" the minister choked, blood running out of his mouth as he fell. The body fell of of the platform and collapsed to the ground. Captain Douglas Gordon, Captain of the Manehattan Military, just killed the Prime Minister.

Everpony screamed in horror as Gordon approached the dead pony, holstering the revolver in his right hoof. "Why would you DO that?!" Yuji Shinoda boomed angrily as he approached Gordon.

"He wasn't Equestrian." he replied, scanning the body for a seam of some sort.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW!!" the scientist hollered at Douglas. "You're not his keeper!" he continued. "That was the Prime Mini- MMPH!" he said as Gordon put a hoof to his mouth.

"I know because he didn't blink for one, and for two he didn't say everypony." the muscular stallion growled releasing the scientist's mouth. Yuji Shinoda gazed at the captain with wide eyes. "Will you STOP gawking at me!" he growled.

It was then that Onyx pushed his way through the crowd, a look of worry crossing his grimy face. Following close behind him was Scarlet Blitz. "What in the name of Celestia?!" he hollered. Then seeing the corpse of the Prime Minister reeled back, his worry morphing into disgust. "HOLY S***!!!" he exclaimed. "You KILLED the Prime Minister?!!"

"NO! I didn't!" Captain Douglas growled. "THIS pony... is an ALIEN!" he continued pulling a small knife from a sheath. He then proceeded to cut the body down the middle, revealing a bloodied alien figure, a bullet lodged in the left side of it's chest.

Everypony gasped in horror as Captain Gordon hoisted the body up and tossed it back onto the platform. He then climbed onto the stand and lifted the body for everypony to see. "THIS..." he began, "IS NO PONY FROM EQUESTRIA! AND I BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE A THREAT TO PONY KIND!!" he finished.

-Canterlot Wreckage-

Smoke and ash filled the sky, turning shrouding Canterlot's remnants in darkness. All around, the sound of Canterlot's subjects digging themselves out of the rubble could be heard.

"Quiet!" a fire pony yelled over the sound of a crowd. He lifted his hoof into the air and pricked his ears straight up. "Everypony, QUIET!" he shouted again. He silently watched as a pile of sheet rock shifted ever so slightly. "There's somepony down there!" he hollered, swiftly beginning to dig through the rubble with both hooves.

The fire pony began to hear the sound of coughing as he desperately pulled away pound after pound of debris from the pile.

At last, the stallion found the source of the coughing. It was an Earth pony. The back half of his body was buried in debris and the front half was covered in scrapes and bruises. His right ear was torn and he wore dented iron shin guards.

"Are you alright?!" the firefighter asked, worry growing on his face.

"Get me out of here." the mustang choked. His voice cracked and he was battered up.

"I'll be right there! Just... stay calm!" the heavily suited stallion commanded, looking around for some way to save the wounded Earth pony. He slowly lowered himself toward the stallion, being careful to avoid shifting the rubble to much, for it could collapse on both of them.

"Don't make any sudden movements, alright? I got ya." the firefighter said calmly, slowly and cautiously digging the stallion from the rubble. At last, it was done. The two stallions were safe. "You got a name, kid?" the fire pony asked the battered stallion, gazing at him sympathetically.

The wounded stallion had enough strength to say; "One; don't call me 'kid.' Two; my name..." he took a moment to catch his breath. "is Ratchet." He then scanned around him. "Where's my brother? Where's Celestia? WHERE IS EVERYPONY?!" he shouted in the firefighter's face.

"CALM YOURSELF! Princess Celestia is in Neighpon, at the GDP HQ." the stallion replied with wide eyes.

"What in the name of Tanaka is the GDP?" he coughed.

"Godzilla Defence Ponies. Oh, and... You'll be headed there after you heal some." the fire pony said calmly.

"I'm going there NOW." Ratchet growled, realizing that Onyx was probably with the monarch.

-Godzilla Defence Ponies HQ, Neighpon-

Onyx's head laid upon the computer desk. His eyes were closed and he snored softly. The small television at the corner of the desk was set on the news channel. Scarlet Blitz was sitting on Onyx's bed, red personalized headphones that Onyx bought for her covered her ears. On each side, her cutie mark had been carefully painted onto the headphones.

Her head jerked back and forth to the tune of "You're gonna go far, kid" by The Offspring.

She had let herself into Onyx's room to see him, only to find that the mechanic had fallen asleep at his desk.

Out of the corner of her eye, the pegasus saw something odd on the television screen. Putting her headphones around her neck, Scarlet searched for the remote control and turned the volume up.

Her jaw dropped, and her eyes grew to the size of dinner plates at what she saw.

A grey-brown stallion covered with scrapes and bruises furiously yelling at a news reporter. His front legs were protected by metal shin guards that were dented all over. It soon became apparent that Onyx still had family left.

Scarlet swiftly leapt toward Onyx. She then grabbed the stallion by the shoulder and shook him. "Wake up, Onyx!" she yelled. "WAKE UP!!" The snoring mustang jumped up almost instantly.

"Hmm? What is it?" he mumbled groggily. His eyelids drooped and a drop of saliva fell onto the desk.

"Uh... Onyx." Scarlet said with a hint of disgust at the sight of the spit dribbling from Onyx's mouth.

"Hmm?"

"You're... drooling." Scarlet Blitz said, pointing a hoof at Onyx's lip.

Onyx quickly wiped it away and gazed up at Scarlet. "Nopony saw that, right?" he asked with wide eyes.

"Right. Anyway, you gotta see this!" she exclaimed, placing a hoof on the stallion's head and turning it to the television screen.

Onyx's jaw immediately dropped and his eyes grew wide. It was the same reaction that Scarlet had given, only intensified by about fifty percent. "Holy mother of Celestia." he whispered, watching as a battered image of himself angrily kicked at a small pile of rubble, only to add another injury to his collection.

"OW!! GOD D*** IT!!" Onyx heard Ratchet say from the TV as he grabbed his hoof.

"That's Ratchet, alright!" the young stallion exclaimed as his angry brother approached the camera pony and slammed a hoof into it. With that, the screen depicted static. Onyx sat at the desk silently, as if wondering if that was truly his older brother.

"Your brother's alive, Onyx." Scarlet Blitz whispered into her boyfriend's ear. "He's alive." she repeated.

Onyx didn't reply. A tear drop ran down the side of his cheek.

-Canterlot Airport-

Ratchet let a loud sigh flow from his throat. He hadn't exactly been the kindest pony back at the remnants of Canterlot. No matter, he had to see his brother again. The stallion winced in pain as he climbed aboard the large plane. Gingerly, he took a seat on the massive vehicle. He wanted to dance around the plane due to the joy that his pain kept hidden.

He was going to see the only family he had left.

-Three Hours Later-

Ratchet slowly climbed out of the jet, his body aching as he moved along. His ears were filled with the sound of planes and jets screaming through the air. Finally, he was in Neighpon. Now he just had to find the Godzilla Defense Ponies' Head Quarters.

"Excuse me?" he said to a passerby. "I'm trying to find the GDP HQ. Could you point me in the right direction?" he asked. The pony shrugged her shoulders and then spoke in a foreign language.

"Right. You can't even understand me." he growled, rolling his eyes. "How am I ever going to get to the GDP if I can't even speak Neighponese?" the stallion grumbled. Suddenly, a stallion dressed in a scientist's lab coat approached Ratchet. "Today is lucky day for you." he said in a Neighponese accent. "I is going to GDP too."

Ratchet couldn't help but smile. The scientist had a goofy grin crossing his face. "Thank you." Ratchet said offering the pony his hoof. "My name is Ratchet." he continued.

"My name Fuji." the scientist said, shaking Ratchet's hoof. "My brother is Yuji Shinoda." he finished.

-Godzilla Defence Ponies HQ, Neighpon-

Onyx gazed up at the wall mounted clock. He had been waiting for nearly three hours for his brother, figuring that he would come here. Scarlet Blitz walked over to the stallion, a smile on her face. "He'll be here. Don't you worry." she said reassuringly.

"I can only hope." Onyx replied, not taking his eyes from the clock.

-Elsewhere at the Godzilla Defence Ponies HQ, Neighpon-

"Thank you, so much, Mister Shinoda. How can I repay you?" Ratchet told Fuji, a cheery look on his face.

"You no need repay. Only be happy." Fuji Shinoda said, lifting a hoof up. "We meet again, ya?" he continued, lifting a hoof.

"Hopefully." Ratchet said, shaking his hoof before the two continued on their way.

It wasn't long before Ratchet spotted Frost Bloom. "FROST!" he called with a smile. He didn't care if she hated him. He was just happy to see somepony he knew.

"Ratchet?" she exclaimed with disgust and surprise. "I thought you were DEAD." Frost continued, looking Ratchet up and down. She wasn't particularly excited that Ratchet was alive, but Onyx would be.

"Where's Onyx?" the stallion asked, looking around.

"He should be somewhere around here." she acknowledged, also scanning the lobby for the young mechanic. "You should wait here for him. I'll go get Princess Celestia." Frost Bloom commanded, limping away. It was then that Ratchet noticed that she had a cast on her left leg.

Ratchet shrugged his shoulders, but stayed where he was.

It was then that a grey-brown stallion, followed by a white pegasus, approached Ratchet. "ONYX!" Ratchet exclaimed with pure joy. He ran toward his brother, pushing through the pain that jolted through his body with each step.

"Ratchet? Is that you?!" Onyx asked with happiness growing upon his voice. The young mustang sped toward his brother, a wide smile on his face. "RATCHET!" he shouted joyfully. His brother came to a slow stop as the two closed in on each other.

"ONYX!" Ratchet cried wrapping Onyx in a bear hug. The younger stallion was lifted clean off of his hooves. Onyx didn't bother trying to escape his brother's hold.

"I thought you were dead." the stallion sniffed.

"I didn't think I'd ever see you again." Ratchet replied, squeezing his eyes shut as he fought back tears.

Scarlet Blitz watched with a smile as Ratchet released Onyx, rubbed his eyes, and let out a loud sigh of relief. He then turned to face the red haired pegasus and lifted a hoof. Scarlet took his hoof, only expecting him to shake it. Instead he pulled her toward him and wrapped her into a hug. She stood there with wide eyes, staring at Onyx for help, as Ratchet held the position for several moments.

"AHEM." Onyx said, beckoning to his brother to step away. Ratchet stared at Onyx with wide eyes. Realizing that Onyx and Scarlet were together, Ratchet quickly released the pegasus.

"Awwwkward." Scarlet Blitz chuckled as Onyx's older brother took a step away from the pegasus.

Scarlet glanced at the younger stallion, who had his teeth clenched. Despite Ratchet being alive, Scarlet was ONYX's girlfriend. "Thank you." the mechanic grumbled. Scarlet's face grew bright red.

At that moment, Captain Douglas Gordon walked by, his gaze fixed on a tablet screen in his hoof. "Hmm. The Gotengo could use a few upgrades." he muttered to himself as he walked by, not noticing that Ratchet was still alive.

"CAPTAIN!" Onyx called to the busy military leader.

"Hi." Gordon replied, not paying attention to the trio of ponies.

"What am I, a ghost?!" Ratchet said, slightly irritated with Captain Gordon.

"Onyx what are you-? Ratchet? You're alive?" Captain Gordon exclaimed. His face was that of shock and surprise. "How did you make it? We-or at least Onyx and Scarlet, saw you killed!" he asked.

"My life was hanging by a thread when a firefighter saved me." Ratchet replied.

"Makes sense." Gordon said with a nod.

"What's that?" Onyx interjected, gazing at the tablet.

"This old thing? That, my friend, is the Gotengo. The vehicle that I used to bury Godzilla in ice about three decades ago. Now that Godzilla's back... and Kiryu won't work against it, I have to use this machine.

Reign of Terror

-Indian Ocean-

Godzilla furiously bellowed a sound that would make anypony stop, dead in their tracks. His epiglottis rumbled and moaned as the sound was carried by the wind.

But one kaiju was able to hear the call of the king... Spacegodzilla. Godzilla glared up at the sky as massive, crystal spears plummeted to the ocean's surface. The King of Monsters only watched.

With a tremendous screech, a massive crystalline creature descended to the ocean. It's skull was caped with an oddly shaped horn with three points. Massive crystals attached to the shoulder. It's spine was lined with quartz spines, similar to Godzilla's. And it's tail was tipped with a group of the energized minerals.

Godzilla wasted no time in taking the first move. A sudden burst of energy flowed from his maw. Spacegodzilla swiftly dodged Godzilla's radioactive attack and used it's corona beam. The orange and yellow bolt of energy struck the king's shoulder.

Godzilla fell...

-GDP HQ, Onyx's Sleeping Quarters-

Onyx gazed at the computer screen, quietly humming to himself. As soon as the two brothers were reunited, Ratchet fell unconscious and had to be taken to the buildings medical wing.

Scarlet sat on Onyx's bed, her gaze fixed on the stallion. Despite having her headphones on, she could hear Onyx humming a song to himself.

With a loud sigh, Onyx lifted a telephone from it's receiver and tapped a button. The phone rang...

"Hello. This is the medical wing. How can I help you?" a feminine voice asked politely. It took Onyx a moment to answer. "Hellooo? Is anypony there?" the voice asked.

Finally, Onyx snapped out of his daze. "I'm sorry about that." he said. He then heard a quiet chuckle. "I'm calling to find out about the condition of my brother, Ratchet? He was sent in about an hour ago for a few minor wounds. Is he alright?" Onyx asked, holding the phone with both hooves.

"If you would hold on a moment please, I'll see what I can do." she acknowledged. There was a few long moments of silence before she answered. "Your brother is just coming back into consciousness. He should be ready for visitors in another fifteen minutes, or so."

"Thank you." Onyx thanked her before gently placing the telephone on the receiver.

"How's he doing?" Scarlet Blitz asked, slightly worried for the young stallion.

"He's gonna be okay." Onyx told her with a grin on his face.

-Indian Ocean-

Spacegodzilla scanned the ocean's waves, searching for his father. It didn't take long for Godzilla to push his way to the surface, his jaws opened to their full capacity.

The King of Monsters clamped down on the alien kaiju's clawed foot, causing the creature to screech in pain. The airborne Spacegodzilla kicked down on Godzilla's head with it's free foot. The King of Monsters fell back to the ocean and sank to the bottom, having been knocked out from the blow to his skull.

Spacegodzilla let a triumphant bellow flow from it's throat before it hovered away, cackling with glee.

Operation: Final Wars

-Las Vegas-

The female MUTO thundered across the crumbling city, followed by the smaller, winged male. With a tremendous bellow, the eight legged MUTO lifted a clawed limb and slammed it back into the ground with full force. A shock wave from the blow shorted the power of the once thriving metropolis, preventing the air force to attack.

-Eastern Shore of Australia-

A loud roar, carried by the wind, could be heard for along the shore of Australia for miles. The massive tyrannosaur kaiju charged a building, plowing through it like it was made of cardboard. Gorosaurus lifted it's skull from the remnants of the Sydney Opera House and glared at a rising helicopter. Using it's signature attack, the massive saurian kicked the vehicle with both clawed feet.

The helicopter spun out of control and exploded in mid air. Gorosaurus triumphantly bellowed before lowering it's head and charging another building.

-Pacific Ocean-

Manda swiftly swam through the water at a good seventy knots. The tremendous serpent loudly hissed and breached the ocean's surface. It's entire body came clear out of the cold water as the beast clamped it's jaws on an incoming jet.

Battleships fired their powerful cannons at the oceanic snake. With an agonizing shriek, Manda fell back to the ocean's surface, creating a massive wave.

-Xillian Spacecraft, Neighpon-

"My monsters will teach you cattle to mess with ME!!" X roared furiously, veins visible on his head. His plans with the Prime Minister had failed, for that ignorant captain new that the "Prime Minister" was not Equestrian.

At that, X pushed on a lever directly in front of him. The strange unicorn began to feel his spacecraft lift into the air. He would watch the battle from above, as not to be disturbed by monsters that may mistake the craft for an enemy.

"It's time to unleash Monster X." he growled.

-Mount Fuji, Neighpon-

The dormant volcano began to rumble and shake, boulders broke from it's surface, the ground cracked. Suddenly, the top of the mountain exploded, exposing a long forgotten defender of Neighpon. It once clashed with the infamous Godzilla. Thought to have been killed, the guardian of Equestria was not to be.

A single, golden dragon head lifted out of the hole created at the top of the mountain and scanned the famous land. Another, smaller version of the head crashed through Mount Fuji and bellowed a sound of thunder.

Finally, a third head appeared.

Grand King Ghidorah is still alive...

The massive, three headed wyvern spread a pair of massive golden wings and leapt into the air, it's wings pushing down air as it rose higher and higher. The guardian dragon's wing beats pushed tons of dust and debris to the ground.

This god among the Neighponese was ready to defend the world.

-Indian Ocean-

Godzilla's lifeless body laid at the bottom of the ocean, pockets of air flowing freely from the king's maw. Tiny minnows picked at the seemingly dead kaiju's radioactive body.

The massive lobster like kaiju, Ebirah, let itself in on the feast.

Godzilla's scaled eyelid suddenly opened, frightening the fish feeding around the head. Despite being fed upon by an old enemy of his, the King of Monsters didn't move a muscle.

Ebirah continued to feast on the "corpse" until it moved. Ebirah swiftly scuttled backward, using it's fined tail to push back. Godzilla swiftly sprang into motion, clamping his jaws on the lobster's small claw. Air bubbles flowed from Godzilla's maw as he thrashed his head back and forth, tearing the claw from the joint on Ebirah's limb.

The massive lobster desperately tried to force the King of Monster's to release his hold but it wouldn't work.

Suddenly, Godzilla closed his jaws with all the bight force that he could summon, crushing Ebirah's small claw. With a water muffled screech, Ebirah swung it's crusher claw, aiming at Godzilla's head. The saurian dodged the attack and unleashed a bellow that could match his roar when on the land. Then, his dorsal spines began to glow with radioactive energy.

With a burst of bright, blue light, Ebirah was no more.

Godzilla swam to the ocean's surface, the glow of his spines gradually fading. When he surfaced, he scanned the ocean around him. He then took a gulp of air and submerged, only his spikes breaching the water's surface.

-Infant Island-

The tiny twin alicorns quietly hummed a tune in unison, their hooves held to their chest as the sat cross legged. Before them was truly a gentle giant; Mosura. The giant moth goddess gently beat it's downy wings and loudly squeaked.

The tiny princesses stopped humming and abruptly lifted their heads. Above them, they saw what appeared to be the worshipped, Grand King Ghidorah, calling to Mothra with a series of grunts and growls. Mothra responded with a loud chirp and beat her wings, lifting the moth into the air with little effort.

-Whatever is the problem?- Mothra asked the golden dragon telepathically.

-Neighpon has been invaded by extra terrestrial beings. They are unleashing all of the monsters upon Equestria.- King Ghidorah replied.

-I see. Let us show these beings that Equestria is not so easily overtaken.-

-Yes, let us.-

With that, the two behemoth kaiju flew toward Neighpon.

-China-

Godzilla furiously bellowed his rage. The massive King of all Monsters could sense the presence of his two arch rivals; King Ghidorah and Mothra. The 66 thousand ton kaiju broke into a charge, leaving a trail of dust and debris behind him as he ran. Not only could he sense those two kaiju, but the presence of a certain one eyed cyborg and a certain kaiser kaiju.

-GDP HQ, Neighpon-

Captain Douglas Gordon raced to the Gotengo, the one useful weapon they had to defeat the Xillians and save the world. "DOUGLAS!!" a voice called after him. Gordon screeched to a stop.

"What?" he asked flatly. The voice was Onyx, behind him everypony who had flown to the Godzilla Defense Ponies with him.

"What are you doing? It's too dangerous to go out there." Onyx asked the military stallion. Gordon's mustache twitched. "You could die."

"I'd rather die protecting the planet I live on... than die sitting here, not doing a god damn thing." Captain Douglas Gordon said, swelling with pride. "Those aliens are planning on using us as their food source. I won't stand around and watch those bastards do so." he continued, staring Onyx in the eyes. He the lifted his head and spoke to the entire group, the Mane 6, Celestia, her sister, Frost Bloom, Onyx, and Scarlet Blitz.

"Listen well, all of you!" he started. "I know that I, personally will NOT stand for these alien sons of bitches to take our home. We may be outnumbered! We may be outmatched but we need to let them know that this is OUR home! NOT theirs! This is Operation: FINAL WARS!!" he boomed triumphantly. "WHO'S WITH ME?!!"

Within a split second, the entire crowd erupted into a monumental cheer.

The Final Battle: Part One

"WHAT?!?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!" Scarlet Blitz yelled at Onyx. Her face was almost the same shade as her mane, she was yelling so loudly.

"Calm down!" Onyx commanded her. "Douglas can't take on every monster that crosses his path. If I can just take down the Xillians' leader, that should get rid of the monsters." he exclaimed.

"Did it ever occur to you that we don't know what we're even UP against?" she asked, calming down. "I don't want to lose you." Scarlet continued, remembering Ash Pelt.

With a sigh, Onyx gazed down at the white pegasus. "I understand that, but I have to help SOME how." he told her, gently lifting Scarlet's chin with his hoof. Tears began to fill her eyes. "Hey..." he started, looking the mare in the eye. "I'll be alright, okay?" He then gave her a slight smile. "Can you manage a smile?" he asked Scarlet. She replied with a weak, half hearted grin.

"If you're going... Then I'm coming with you." Scarlet Blitz declared, firmly placing a hoof onto the concrete floor.

Onyx let a sigh leak from his throat. "Well... Okay." the young stallion said.

-Neighpon-

Godzilla closed in on his targets, the two airborne kaiju, and growled in satisfaction. His spines began to glow with lightning blue energy, the King of Monsters inhaled, his chest expanding. Godzilla's jaws unhinged to their full capacity as he took aim, his sight on the more powerful, Grand King Ghidorah.

Godzilla almost hit the dragon too...

Seemingly, out of the blue, the new, chainsaw armed Gigan dove toward the king from behind and swiped at Godzilla's back. The mighty giant bellowed in pain and fell forward.

Mothra turned to see what appeared to be Gigan attacking none other than Godzilla, King of the Monsters. -Ghidorah. We must help Godzilla- she telepathically told the golden dragon.

Ghidorah turned and spotted the struggle between saurian and cyborg. -It is no business of ours what happens to that irradiated lizard- King Ghidorah replied with a smirk. -We must take down Monster X instead.-

-But Godzilla can HELP us- Mothra retorted, shrieking at Ghidorah. She then raced toward the two dueling kaiju at mach three.

-MOTHRA! NO!- Ghidorah communicated. The three headed dragon then rolled one set of his three pair of eyes.

-Hello... Brother- a deep, telepathic voice said to Grand King Ghidorah. Ghidorah spun around to see Desghidorah; his four legged, evil twin.

-Don't call me that- King Ghidorah growled. The golden dragon new very well that Desghidorah was his brother, but it made him furious when called brother by the red and black hydra.

-But why? You know that I am- Desghidorah growled, a smirk growing on his face.

Grand King Ghidorah lost his temper. The three headed, golden dragon furiously bellowed at full force, surprising his evil counterpart. He then charged the demonic Desghidorah, all three sets of jaws fully unhinged. Desghidorah sidestepped the attack and swung a taloned forearm at Ghidorah's back, throwing him to the ground.

-Why fight?- Desghidorah telepathically asked Grand Ghidorah. Ghidorah only hissed in rage and slammed his three pair of jaws on the red titan. Electricity coursed through Desghidorah's body. The evil hydra bellowed in pain as the golden dragon thrashed it's three heads.

Mothra raced toward Gigan, her six legs prepared to subdue the one eyed cyborg. Gigan lifted it's navy blue head and screeched at the moth goddess. Mothra wasted no time in repeatedly slashing at the extra terrestrial kaiju with her legs.

Gigan angrily roared and leapt of of Godzilla, backing away from the flurry of slashing attacks.

Godzilla hoisted himself to his feet and bellowed a sound of thunder. His claws balled into a fist and his eyes flamed as he prepared his radioactive breath. His scales and dorsal spines glowed intensely with radiation. Godzilla's chest expanded as he took a deep breath in.

Then... it happened.

Suddenly, A burst of glowing blue light flowed from the king's maw, striking Gigan's armored body. The giant cyborg collapsed to the ground... But not before firing a grapple hook through Mothra's wing in the process.

-GDP HQ, Helicopter Pad-

Onyx climbed into the military helicopter and placed a forest green helmet on top of his head. He was followed by Scarlet Blitz and Ratchet. "You sure you've done this before?!" Scarlet worriedly asked Ratchet, who was going to be the helicopter's pilot.

"Yeah! Once or twice!" Ratchet shouted over the sound of the helicopter's rotors picking up speed.

"Great... We're dead." the white pegasus muttered to herself, putting the helmet onto her head. Suddenly, the helicopter jerked into the air. "JEEZ!!" Scarlet gasped.

"Sorry." Ratchet laughed, glancing at the terrified mare. He gently pushed on the throttle propelling the airborne vehicle forward. "Relax." Ratchet told Scarlet. "We are flying!" he told her reassuringly."

"Yeah. Because that totally makes me feel better!" Scarlet Blitz said sarcastically. Both Onyx and Ratchet couldn't help but laugh.

Slowly, the helicopter approached the massive Xillian spacecraft. "Whoa." Onyx muttered. "Should I get to the machine gun?" the stallion asked his brother.

"Yeah!" Ratchet replied. "We're gonna have to use it to blow a hole in this thing so that we can get in." he continued staring at the spacecraft with awe and fear crossing his face.

Onyx took aim with the helicopters fully automatic machine gun and pulled the trigger mounted on it. With a series of explosions, bullet after bullet struck the bronze armor. "YAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!" Onyx hollered as the bullets struck the craft.

The young stallion let go of the trigger. "Uh... Ratchet?"

"I see it." his brother said, gazing at the small hole.

"We're gonna need the rockets." Onyx explained, not taking his eyes of of the weapon.

"Already on it." Ratchet told the earth pony, is hoof pressed down on the button marked "ROCKET." With that, missiles screamed toward the small hole. With deafening explosions, the hole grew just wide enough for the helicopter to enter the spacecraft.

"RATCHET!! GO HIGHER!!" Onyx boomed with very clear panic on his voice.

"What are you talki-?" Ratchet was cut off when part of a building struck the helicopter's tail. "RRRRGGH!!" Ratchet yelled as the helicopter began to spin out of control. He then fought with the controls, making his best attempt to stabilize so that they could enter the hole on the Xillian spacecraft. "S***!!" Ratchet yelled as the helicopter streaked toward the hole with terrifying speed. The helicopter spun out of control as it went toward the space ship.

"AAAAHH!!" Onyx yelled as the helicopter's main rotor struck the craft on the way into the ship. Sparks flew as the helicopter hazardously crash landed.

"Everypony alright?!" Ratchet called, turning to see if Scarlet and Onyx were still alive. Onyx's helmet had been almost completely destroyed and a trail of blood ran down Scarlet Blitz's right leg.

"Yeah... We're good." Scarlet Blitz panted. "Thank god for the helmets."

"You can say that again." Ratchet agreed, nodding his head.

"Well then... We should probably find the guy in charge of all this chaos." Onyx said, wincing in pain.

"OH MY GOD!! Onyx, your LEG!" Scarlet exclaimed, covering her mouth in disgust.

The young stallion glanced down at his leg in confusion. "Well, would ya look at that." he said, gazing down at a shard of the helicopter's metal imbedded in his back leg.

"You didn't even KNOW about it?!" Scarlet asked with surprise.

"Apparently not." Onyx replied, gingerly touching the piece of metal. Warm blood ran down his leg as he tried to pull it out. "Ow!" he said to himself, instantly releasing the metal.

"Here. Let me do it." his girlfriend commanded, grabbing the blade and gently pulling on it.

"OW!! Careful!" he yelled in pain.

"Sorry!" the white pegasus grimaced. Realizing that it wouldn't come out easily, she looked up at him. "Onyx. You're going to have to trust me, okay? It's not going to come out unless I yank it out."

"Wait, what? No! Do-! OWW!!!" he yelled. "GOD, DANG IT!!"

"There. All better." Scarlet said, holding the bloodied shard of metal up for Onyx to see. Ratchet could only watched in disgust while Scarlet yanked the metal from his brother's leg.
'What?" the mare asked, noticing his expression.

"Nothing." Ratchet sighed. "Could we just... move along now, please?"

"Yes." Onyx replied, walking on despite the pain that shot up his leg with each step he took.

With that, the trio moved on, searching around the odd spacecraft for the Xillian leader.

-Half an Hour Later-

"I think we're lost." Scarlet Blitz grumbled.

"Ha! Lost? The word lost isn't even in our vocabulary!" Ratchet said with a positive attitude toward the situation. Onyx and Scarlet both looked at the stallion with flat expressions. Noticing their look, Ratchet continued on to say; "Okay . So we're a little lost. What do you want ME to do about it?!"

"I don't know! YOU'RE the eldest. YOU figure it out." Onyx said to the older stallion.

"FINE!" Ratchet growled, rolling his eyes.

-Neighpon-

Mothra struggled to stay in the air. Her wing had been severely torn by Gigan's grapple hook, but still she fought. Godzilla charged the giant cyborg with surprising speed for a 66 thousand ton lizard. His thick skull slammed into Gigan with heavy impact, knocking the dazed alien back to the ground.

Above the battleground, Captain Douglas Gordon and a handful of other ponies were piloting the Gotengo. The Xillian leader had unleashed hundreds of small spacecrafts from the main ship.

"SIR! We can't take 'em all at once! We must retreat!!" a mare told Douglas over the sound of heavy gunfire.

"NO! Stay on course!" he answered sternly. He then turned to a different soldier. "Damage report!!"

"Ten Percent damage dealt, SIR!" he replied, glancing at a screen depicting the damage done to the Gotengo and where it was dealt.

-Xillian Spacecraft-

"Sir, There has been a breach on the ship's west wall!" a fellow Xillian told the unicorn, worry growing within the ponies tone.

"Did you not think that I would know this?!" he snapped, turning to the pony with an angry expression.

"Sir?" the pony asked, confused.

"NEVERMIND! Just get out of my sight!" X shouted furiously. With that, the strange Xillian mare turned to leave the room. "HOLD IT!" the leader Xillian shouted. The mare turned to face the unicorn. "I want you to find the intruders. Bring them to me ALIVE! If even ONE of those three is killed, you end up like that pony." he growled. "Now... Leave me." The mare then left the room.

X then decided it best to go looking for them as well.

-Elsewhere in the Xillian Spacecraft-

Onyx limped down the hall after Ratchet and Scarlet Blitz, his leg slowing him down. "Guys... Slow down." he grunted.

Scarlet turned to her boyfriend. Seeing him in this condition worried her. "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea." she said with worry. "We should leave before the Xillians actually show up." she told Ratchet. He didn't answer. "Ratchet?" she turned to the eldest stallion who had his face planted firmly to the ground and the tip of a strange gun against his head. "RATCHET!!" Scarlet Blitz shouted.

On instinct, Scarlet pulled a pistol out of a saddlebag she put on while getting ready to attack the Xillians. She lifted the gun and pulled the trigger, striking one of the Xillians in the head. "Let him go." she growled, pointing the gun at another alien's head. The alien didn't respond. It only pointed it's strange weapon at Ratchet's leg and pulled the trigger.

"AAAAGGH!!" the stallion bellowed in rage. He then kicked the alien in the chest with full force and leapt to his hooves, where he snatched the Xillian's gun and shot her once in the head. The pony stopped moving at once.

Ratchet then shot another alien, who fell. "Let's check 'em over for weapons." he continued wincing in pain as he swiftly checked the nearest alien.

"I thought I'd find you here." a voice said, stopping Ratchet dead in his tracks. "You must be the FOOLS who put a hole in my spacecraft. I mean, COME ON!! I just paid the thing off too!" a darkly colored unicorn yelled at them.

Onyx lifted an eyebrow.

Scarlet Blitz began to approach X with an angry glare on her face. "Scarlet, NO!" Onyx commanded. The white pegasus turned to see Onyx holding a hoof up.

X glanced at the both of them and cracked a wicked grin. "Ah... Love. Too bad all relationships have to end somewhere." the unicorn said, reaching for a holstered gun. "Your's ends here." he smiled, pulling the gun from it's holster.

Within a split second a flash of bright red light struck Onyx in the chest. "HRRK!!" he choked, falling to the ground.

"NO!" Scarlet Blitz cried, running to the young stallion. "No. No, no, no. Onyx... Onyx, stay with me." Scarlet sobbed. Tears stained her face as she made her best attempt to keep Onyx alive. "Stay with me, please." she whispered. wrapping her arms around him.

He coughed once and looked her in the eye. A small trail of blood ran down the side of his mouth as he gasped for breath.

"He, he, he." X chuckled. Ratchet glared at the demonic unicorn for a moment before charging him, blind with rage. "I don't think so." X growled lifting a hoof and motioning it to a wall. Ratchet was thrown against the amber structure and knocked unconscious.

It was then that the sound of a drill echoed throughout the airborne craft. As if on cue, a massive drill pushed it's way through the craft's outer wall. "COME ON!!" X yelled angrily. "Hello, X." a voice growled. From the Gotengo itself, came Captain Douglas Gordon, fully suited in combat armor. "You shouldn't have come here." he continued, turning to Scarlet Blitz and the dying Onyx.

Then, in the blink of an eye, Douglas had his sword to X's throat. "There are two things you didn't know about Equestria, bastard... One is me. Two is Godzilla." Captain Douglas growled into the evil unicorn's ear.

-Boy, would the entire planet be screwed if Sombra teamed up with this son of a gun- Gordon thought to himself as he prepared to finish the telepathic stallion.

-Neighpon, Below the Xillian Spacecraft-

Godzilla swung a clawed forelimb at the robotic kaiju, Gigan. The king's spines then glowed with an intense radiation. The dazed cyborg couldn't do a thing as Godzilla obliterated it.

The King of Monsters was about to turn on the wounded Mothra when a black and white kaiju hovered to the ground, two tails intensely lashing behind it as it landed.

Godzilla uttered a single thunderous bellow before charging Monster X

The Final Battle: Part Two

-Xillian Spacecraft-

The grey brown mustang choked for a breath of air, the breaths coming in ragged, wet gasps. Scarlet Blitz cried into the dying pony's shoulder. "No... Stay with me." she whispered.

"Scarlet..." Onyx coughed. Scarlet gazed into his eyes. Then, it was over. Onyx's eyes closed and his head dropped in the pegasus' arms.

"No! Stay with me, Onyx! Onyx! Come on!" she cried into his ear, trying to wake him.

A couple meters away, Ratchet began to stir. "Ow. Wha happened?" he said groggily, placing a hoof on his head. Seeing his dead brother, the stallion rushed to Scarlet's side. "ONYX!! Wake up, NOW!" he commanded, hoping that the stallion was anything but dead.

"He won't." Scarlet Blitz sniffed, gently releasing Onyx from her arms.

"He, he, he!" X laughed despite Captain Gordon having a sword to his neck, ready to kill the demonic unicorn at any moment.

"That is IT!" Gordon roared angrily. The military captain threw a hoof at the extra terrestrial's face, throwing him to the ground.

-Neighpon, Below the Xillian Spacecraft-

Monster X attacked Godzilla with a flurry of punches. The King of Monsters tried to avoid the attacks, but to no positive result. Mothra laid on the battleground, unable to fly.

Grand King Ghidorah dug his clawed foot into the ground and swung his two tails. They lashed out at Desghidorah with frightening velocity... and with a sickening crunch, one of the hydra's head's lifelessly hung from the body.

Desghidorah shrieked in pain and anger, lifting it's two remaining heads to fire beams of red electricity at his golden counterpart. King Ghidorah bellowed angrily and charged the blood red giant.

Desghidorah's bat wings shot from the sides of it's body. With one beat, the kaiju was in the air, the beast's limbs neatly folded against his body.

King Ghidorah followed close behind.

Godzilla dodged an incoming attack from Monster X and took a swipe at the behemoth's large head. The humanoid kaiju collapsed to the ground, where Godzilla leapt into the air and body slammed the beast. Steam poured from Monster X's mouth as the King of Monsters repeatedly dug his claws into it's armored flesh.

With a tremendous bellow, Godzilla climbed off of Monster X stood for a moment, allowing the martial artist kaiju to rise back to it's feet. Monster X did so, but when Godzilla was about to launch himself at the chaotic kaiju, strange things began to happen.

Godzilla watched with confusion as Monster X transformed into a terrifying kaiju. A bright gold glow lined the creature's spine and giant dark gold wings sprouted from it's back. Suddenly, a center head pushed it's way into the air, followed by one on either side of the creature's center head. Monster X's thin legs grew thick and muscular.

Kaiser Ghidorah had risen.

-Xillian Spacecraft-

Scarlet sadly sat by Onyx's body, her head turned away from Ratchet so that he couldn't see her. A tiny, unfamiliar voice played in her mind. "Please, let us help you." the high pitched voices said.

The white pegasus looked around... In front of her, at only a few inches tall, were two twin alicorns. "We are here to help." they said in unison.

The tiny ponies then approached Onyx's lifeless body. "GET AWAY!!" she screamed at them, blocking their path.

"Please..." they started. "We don't mean you any harm. We are here to help... Mothra, the moth goddess, gave us her life force to help him." the tiny twin alicorns continued.

"Who's Mothra? And how can I trust you." she sniffed, ever so slightly letting them pass.

"Mothra is a goddess who protected Neighpon from Godzilla in ancient times. She has the ability to give the dead her life force to bring them back." they acknowledged.

Slowly, Scarlet Blitz stood aside for the two. The alicorns bowed down to the pegasus briefly before holding hooves and pressing down on Onyx's wound. The injury glowed with a faint light before it closed up.

Suddenly, Onyx's chest expanded and with a cough attack, he was alright. Both Ratchet and Scarlet could hardly contain the joy that swelled up inside of them. Tears of joy streamed down Scarlet's cheek as she ran wrapped her arms around him. "I love you." Onyx whispered into her ear.

"I lo-" Scarlet Blitz was suddenly interrupted by a deep tremor in the bronze spacecraft.

"What in the name of Celestia?" Onyx muttered. It was then that he noticed Gordon and the Xillian leader gone. "Where's Douglas?!" he said, jumping to his hooves.

-Elsewhere in the Xillian Spacecraft-

Captain Douglas Gordon threw a hoof at X's face. The alien unicorn dodged the attack and telekinetically threw the military Earth pony into a wall, knocking the air from his lungs. Captain Gordon gasped for breath as the unicorn approached him. "Pathetic." X spat, kicking Gordon in the gut.

"HRRK!!" Gordon yelled painfully. Blood ran from the corner of his mouth as X prepared to kick the stallion again. Captain Gordon rolled out of the way and leapt to his hooves. Both stallions lost their hoofing as the space ship rocked back and forth. The mustached stallion used this toward his advantage and swung a foot at X's shin, throwing him to the ground.

-Elsewhere in the Xillian Spacecraft-

"We need to contact Celestia!" Onyx yelled over the creaks and moans of the tilting craft. "She can find Gordon and stop the Xillian leader!" he explained. "Lets head back to the helicopter! There's walkie talkies in it!"

"Agreed!" Ratchet said, making an effort not to fall.

-Helicopter Crash Sight-

"Now lets see if the things still work..." Onyx muttered to himself, looking over the walkie talkie for damage. He then turned it on and set the channel. "YES!" he exclaimed happily as the familiar sound of static could be heard. "Hello?! This is Onyx! We need Princess Celestia to come to the Xillian Spacecraft! Over." he said into it's speaker.

"I read you. Where is the craft?" a voice replied flatly.

"Uh... Directly above you, stupid!" Onyx growled, annoyed with the pony on the communication device.

"WHO is this?!" the voice shouted angrily.

"My name is Onyx! Send Princess Celestia up here, immediately!" Onyx commanded.

"Roger."

"Celestia should be here at any minute." Onyx reassured the other two ponies.

-Fifteen Minutes Later-

Princess Celestia landed upon the amber floors, followed by the Mane 6. "You summoned me?" Celestia asked Onyx as he approached her.

"Yes. We can't find Captain Gordon OR the Xillian leader." Onyx replied, worry growing on his face.

"We will find them. Don't worry." the alicorn said with a faint smile.

-Elsewhere in the Xillian Spacecraft-

"RRRRGGHH!!!" Captain Douglas Gordon growled as X slammed him against a wall. "Get OFF of me!!" he roared, slamming his head into X's own. The Xillian unicorn staggered backward long enough for Gordon to buck X in the face.

"AAAAGGGH!!" the extra terrestrial yelled in pain as Douglas pulled a revolver from his holster and shot the alien in the leg. X collapsed and lay there, seemingly dead.

-Neighpon, Below the Xillian Spacecraft-

Kaiser Ghidorah lashed out at the King of Monsters with it's duel tails. Godzilla collapsed to the ground and bellowed in pain and rage. It was then that Kaiser Ghidorah latched onto Godzilla with it's three heads and lifted him off of his feet. The black and gold dragon's spine glowed blue as the three heads absorbed Godzilla's energy.

Godzilla grabbed hold of one neck with his hand and tried to free himself, but to no result. The King of Monsters' clawed hand slipped from Kaiser Ghidorah's neck as he became weaker and weaker.

-Xillian Spacecraft-

"Godzilla's growing weak!" Onyx exclaimed, watching from above as the newly formed Kaiser Ghidorah drained Godzilla of his radiation. "I have an idea." he then said, running to the Gotengo.

"Have you done this before?!" Scarlet asked as Onyx buckled himself into the Captain's seat near the back of the flying machine.

"No. But Captain Gordon showed me how!" Onyx replied as Scarlet and Ratchet buckled themselves toward the from of the battle vehicle. He then pulled on a lever which activated the vehicle's rockets. The Gotengo slowly backed out of the hole created by it's drill and lowered behind Godzilla.

"Here goes nothin." Onyx said to himself. With that, the vehicle's drill began to glow, a massive ball of lightning blue energy forming in front of it. "FIRE!!" the young stallion shouted at the top of his lungs.

The ball of energy streaked toward Godzilla's dorsal plated back. With a flash of blue light, the energy was absorbed by Godzilla's dorsal spines. The King of Monsters began to quake with rage as he unhinged his massive jaw.

With a bellow louder than thunder, Godzilla, King of all Monsters, grabbed hold of Kaiser Ghidorah's neck and clamped his jaws on the beast. With a jerk of the head, Godzilla tore the demonic dragon's right head clean from the body.

The two remaining heads released the saurian to howl in pain, giving Godzilla the chance to charge up his radioactive breath. All of the energy that was just forced into Godzilla's body was about to be used in a forceful stream of death.

The King of Monsters' spines glowed with an intense blue light. His back scales became enveloped in this energy as Godzilla's chest expanded, blue smoke leaking from his maw.

Kaiser Ghidorah watched, a horrified look crossing it's faces, for the evil dragon had seen this destructive ability before. -NO!- the beast growled telepathically to itself as a stream of blue flame poured from Godzilla's jaws.

When the king finally closed his jaws... the only remnants of Kaiser Ghidorah were the scorched heads and lifeless body.

With a triumphant roar, Godzilla turned to the dueling Grand King Ghidorah and Desghidorah. A smirk crossed the saurian's scaled face as the thought of sinking his teeth into King Ghidorah's neck floated into his conscious.

-Xillian Spacecraft-

Captain Douglas Gordon swung a well aimed hoof at the Xillian's face, striking the unicorn square in the nose. X staggered back, a hoof held against his nose as he glared at the captain. The strange unicorn pulled his hoof from his nose and looked down to see his own blood soaking his fur. "Son of a bitch." he growled to himself. His horn then began to glow with a purple aura. Captain Gordon stared at the dark stallion with a flat expression as X prepared to kill the military pony.

Suddenly, a searing pain sliced across X's back, dropping him like a fly. "AAARRGH!!" he yelled in pain, turning to see a juvenile drake standing before him, smoke fuming from the beast's jaws. "Uh oh..." he mumbled, staring up at the dragon with wide eyes. With an agitated snort, the transformed Spike grabbed X by the neck and slammed him into an amber colored pillar, crumbling the structure.

With a loud bellow, Spike prepared to kill the unicorn.

"Spike! That's enough!" Twilight Sparkle commanded her adopted brother. Spike turned to the unicorn and cocked his head like a bird. The muscular dragon the began to shrink, his spines dulling and his features turning more hatchling like.

Gordon's jaw dropped as he saw that the monster that could give anybody nightmares, turned into the lovable Spike.

-Xillian Spacecraft-

Captain Douglas Gordon swiftly pulled his sword from it's leather sheath. It's blade glinted in the dim light of the Xillian spacecraft. X spat a glob of pink saliva to the amber floors. A glare covered the unicorn's face as Gordon approached the alien with his sword poised for a fight. Except none came. X only stood, his glare morphing into a demented smile. "If I go down, the lot of you die as well." he laughed.

"I'll take my chances." Douglas growled. With that, the military stallion swung his blade at the alien. The sword's tip slice across X's chest, causing him to bleed profusely. Gordon then pulled his revolver from it's holster and fired a single round.

X dropped to the marble floor, dead...

The Xillian spacecraft rocked back and forth. Captain Gordon dropped his gun and fell, falling flat on his face. "Ow." he grumbled. The Mane 6 burst out laughing. Princess Celestia smiled warmly and offered her hoof. "Thanks." Gordon muttered as the alicorn pulled him to his hooves. Again the ship rocked, and again.

"We need to get out of here." Celestia explained. "The entire space ship is going to explode, now that X is dead." she continued.

"Good! I brought the Gotengo to get up here! We can use that!"

-Ten Minutes Later-

"WHERE'S THE GOTENGO?!?!" Captain Douglas boomed, not seeing any sign of the vehicle that he arrived in. "Yep... We're dead!" he growled.

"No. We're not... We have wings!" Twilight Sparkle exclaimed. "Get on my back." she commanded.

"Well... Alright. If you think that's a good idea." he said with a shrug. Twilight lifted into the air like Gordon was light as a feather. "JEEZ! Ya do this much?!" he asked sarcastically, flabbergasted at how strong the Element of Magic was.

"Yeah, actually." the alicorn said.

-Neighpon, Below the Xillian Spacecraft-

Godzilla leapt into the air and curled into a ball, using one of his long forgotten, but most useful ability yet. With a single bound, a burst of radiation shot from the king's maw, propelling him toward the two airborne hydra's. His dorsal fins struck Desghidorah square in the chest, knocking the wind from his lungs and peeling away at the dragon's iron hard scales.

With a gasp for breath and a painful shriek, the evil Desghidorah plummeted toward the ground. Within a matter of seconds, all seventy thousand tons of the beast crashed into the ground like the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs (only on a much smaller scale.) Smoke filled the sky around them, blocking the moon's light.

The spikey ball of Godzilla touched down onto the battlefield. Godzilla uncurled his massive body and triumphantly roared, his jaws swinging open and his chest cavity vibrating. His claws splayed out as a warning for all other challengers to the throne, for the King of Monsters would not give it up so easily.

King Ghidorah hovered to the ground and landed with a deep tremor. -I will not fight you- he began telepathically, trying to reason with the god among kaiju.
-but here me when I say this; you must leave Neighpon- He awaited an answer but realized that the chances Godzilla would answer were very slim. So, Grand King Ghidorah, leader of the Earth Defenders, turned to fly away.

-No- Godzilla growled, using the telepathy that he had forgotten about long ago. -You listen to ME! If you know what's good for you... then you leave me alone- With that, the King of Monsters turned back to the ocean.

-The Philippines-

Anguirus held a clawed forelimb to his head, trying to break out of a daze that held him under control. Shaking his head, the spiny ankylosaur staggered away, his tail swinging back and forth.

-San Fransisco-

Megaguirus slowly rose from the smoldering remnants of the building, giving the dragonfly queen the comical appearance of Frankenstein's monster as it came to life.

With an ear piercing shriek, the red eyed kaiju raced away from San Fransisco, her speed steadily rising as she hit mach five.

-Nevada-

The female MUTO lifted her head to a strange sound. In front of her was a strange creature indeed. It had seven heads, each one slightly different than the other. It's skin was blood red and the creature was truly a monster... Orochi.

With multiple shrieks and bellows, Orochi charged, wasting no time in pinning the female MUTO to the ground. The winged male dove toward the hydra with a furious roar.

Orochi lifted the center head and forced the others to swing their single, spiked tail. The long quills impaled the MUTO as it flew, instantly killing the radioactive parasite.

With a satisfactory growl, Orochi turned back to the female and clamped all seven pairs of jaws on the MUTO. Effortlessly, the eight legged beast was lifted into the air. The female MUTO was then thrown with tremendous impact into the side of a mountain, where it died.

Orochi bellowed a triumphant roar and turned to the mountain where the Americans put all of their nuclear waste.

-The Gotengo, Neighpon-

Onyx let a loud sigh escape his throat. The battle had been won. Ratchet glanced at his tired brother with a wild grin on his face. "We did it..." he said.

"Yeah." Onyx agreed exhaustively. He didn't realize that piloting the Gotengo could be so difficult.

Suddenly, the sound of static echoed through the giant spacecraft, startling Onyx. "This is Captain Gordon... Do you read me?" the deep voice asked.

"I read you." Onyx replied, lifting a walkie talkie. "Where are you?"

"I'm at the head quarters. But before I get into any details... WHY DID YOU TAKE MY SHIP?!!?!!" Captain Gordon yelled. Onyx pulled the walkie talkie away from his ear and turned down the sound.

"Because Godzilla was being killed out there. If we hadn't taken the Gotengo, Godzilla would be dead." Onyx replied, rubbing his ear in pain and annoyance.

"I don't care if you were using it to destroy the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs. Don't take my ship." he growled.

"If you didn't want me using the Gotengo, than why did you show me how?" Onyx asked matter of factly. Captain Gordon didn't reply. "That's what I thought." Onyx continued.

-India-

Spacegodzilla swiveled his crested skull. India was in ruins and the lives of many were lost in the rampage. The massive space kaiju cackled in glee and turned to Neighpon.

Godzilla was still alive...

With a furious shriek, Spacegodzilla rose into the air, massive crystals that grew out of his back making the creature's form unrecognizable. The chaotic kaiju disappeared from India, his thoughts focused on the death of the King of the Monsters.

-Neighpon-

Godzilla turned to the Pacific Ocean with a loud bellow. With the battle won, he could now go back into hibernation. It was at that moment when the king heard it... A loud roar that flowed through the air on wind currents.

The King of Monsters raised a scaled lip in an expression of anger as tremendous crystalline spears plummeted to the ground. Godzilla narrowly leapt out of the way of one of these pillars.

Godzilla raised and saw Spacegodzilla, still as annoying and angry as the first time the two kaiju's met. With a deep tremor, Spacegodzilla touched down. His shoulder crystals crackled with a red aura and his multi pointed horn glowed with energy. Godzilla inhaled, blue smoke fuming from his jaws.

With a sound like thunder, Godzilla's atomic ray and Spacegodzilla's corona beam collided, lighting up the smoke filled sky with blue and orange. The two saurians held this position for several moments, Spacegodzilla's corona beam pushing back on Godzilla's radioactive breath.

The King of Monsters knew that he couldn't keep this up for much longer, for his radiation supply would soon have to be cut short in order for his survival.

All hope seemed to be lost when Godzilla pushed, full force, with his ray breath, thundering toward Spacegodzilla as the radiation pushed against corona.

With a tremendous explosion, radiation overpowered the dreaded corona beam. A painful screech was uttered from Spacegodzilla as the king's atomic ray melted away at the space kaiju's skull.

Finally, Godzilla let his atomic ray breath cease to weaken him. All that remained of Spacegodzilla's head was it's bloodied, sizzling skull. The seventy thousand ton Spacegodzilla... was no more.

The massive body collapsed to the ground with a heavy earth tremor. The King of Monsters bellowed a sound of thunder, warning all other would be challengers...

Godzilla swiveled his grey skull back to the ocean, his eyes reflecting the smoke and flame of buildings. Lives were lost, cities were burned to the ground, and World War Kaiju was not to be forgotten

-Seven Years Later, Manehattan Hospital-

Onyx impatiently tapped his hoof against the white tiled floor. Ratchet entered the room with a smile on his face. Seeing his brother's distress he tried to cheer him up. "Hey, I'm sure she's perfectly fine." he said reassuringly.

Onyx only glance up at Ratchet for a split second before resuming his hoof tapping activities. "How do you know?!" he snapped. Instantly, the young stallion apologized. "I-I'm sorry... I just need some rest. She woke up at like, what, two, three in the morning?" he said groggily, glancing up at a wall mounted clock.

"Oh... I didn't realize." Ratchet said apologetically. "Hey! Look at the bright side. First time father! Good stuff." Ratchet continued, giving Onyx a playful punch on the shoulder.

"Yeah..." Onyx replied with a half hearted grin.

"Hey guys..." Frost Bloom said as she exited the room that Scarlet had been taken into. "I guess you're wondering how Scarlet's doing, right?"

"Yeah... Why not?" Onyx replied standing straight up at the thought.

Frost Bloom chuckled warmly to herself before answering. "She's fine, a little tired, but otherwise okay. Oh, and Onyx... You can breath now."

The nervous stallion inhaled deeply, allowing his shoulders to drop. "Can I see her?" he asked with hope.

"I think so." the icy mare said, holding the door open for Onyx and Ratchet.

The blood had drained from Scarlet Blitz's face. Her forehead was drenched in sweat and she looked exhausted. "Hey, Baby." she murmured softly as Onyx entered the room.

"Hey... How're you feeling?" he asked with slight worry.

"Like complete crap." she grumbled, wincing in pain as she propped herself up on her elbows.

Onyx couldn't help but smile at the words. "Yeah?" he said. "I bet..." He then continued on to say; "And the child? Is it a boy or a girl" He then looked around as if expecting to see the newborn.

"It's a girl." Scarlet murmured, slipping back into sleep.

"Sleep well." the stallion whispered, kissing the white pegasus on the cheek.

"Well?" Ratchet asked excitedly as Onyx quietly shut the door.

"She's okay. She looks completely exhausted, but she'll be alright." he replied with a soft smile. "I'm the father of a little baby girl." he continued, his smile expanding and beaming with pride.

A unicorn with a stethoscope around her neck and a sky blue medical coat on then entered the room. "Are you Onyx?" she asked Ratchet's brother.

"Yeah... Why?" he asked, slightly worried.

"I'm Doctor Gentle Heart." she said holding a hoof up. Onyx respectfully shook hooves with the unicorn. "You're wife will be fine. But we need to keep her hear for another hour or so... She needs some time to recover." the doctor said.

"Uuuuggh..." Onyx groaned.

"Thank you... We'll wait here." Ratchet interjected, trying to keep Onyx at the hospital.

I realized that many monsters were killed in an unfair manner. This chapter is one big Easter egg to a planned story. Enjoy!
One more thing, the scorpion-dragonfly hybrid referes to Megaguirus' dragonfly appearance, with the added stinger and pincers.

-Seven Years Earlier-

The smoking remains of the navy blue space monster laid on the battleground, flames licking up the side of it's iron hard scales. A sudden tremor in the earth caused debris around it shift, ash floating into the air and the flames growing taller. A gruesome transformation then took place, radioactive, burned flesh painfully growing back around Spacegodzilla's fuming skull.

With a painful and agitated shriek, crystalline structures pushed their way through the ground, surrounding the chaotic kaiju with a flurry of blinding, orange flashes.

The leviathan flexed it's small jaw tusks in thought, his tail thrashing about as he pondered what to do about his rival's escape. With a low, long growl, giant crystals pushed their way out of Spacegodzilla's spinal plates until his back was shrouded in the psychic material. The giant's altitude grew higher until he was in space, a furious glare covering his scarred, crested head.

Megaguirus lifted her spiny skull and glared up at the sky, a strange pulsing energy catching her attention. The creature's dragon-like wings beat at unbelievable speeds, keeping the demonic insect aloft. Megaguirus non-hesitantly, and very easily flew well above a plane's altitude of around 30,000 feet above sea level.

Suddenly, a navy blue shape came into view, startling the Meganuela queen. With a frightened shriek, Megaguirus came to an abrupt stop, her view locked onto the bastard child of Godzilla.

Spacegodzilla hovered in position, his eyes not moving from the scorpion-dragonfly hybrid. The opposing kaiju flexed her large, blade-like pincers in confusion. The two stared at each other for what seemed to be hours before Megaguirus and Spacegodzilla teamed up, each kaiju going their separate ways.

A massive, clawed foot slammed into the street, followed by a tremendous, shrieking bellow. A beam of violet and white struck the road, causing a series of explosions that threw debris into the air.

Destroyah uttered a blood curdling shriek before taking to the sky.
